Whole Foods Wine Store

Were gonna assume by food Google means WINE! So, five stars. While its fun to visit your wine behind a glass partition, like its a criminal, sometimes its nice to walk right up to a bottle and touch it. WFW has a great selection of wine from various regions for every budget. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Not sure if youre going to like it? Ask for a taste! Need a bottle of chilled rosé? There are tons to choose from in the cooler. Need a host gift for a party, but you dont know anything about wine? Just get the coolest looking bottle. 😉

This wine store has lots of selections. I purchased a wine today. The staff are very friendly and will help with any questions. From Monday to Friday the wine store closes at 8Pm. As far as uptown WholePaychecks go, this spot of far superior to the Harlem spot. And by that I mean the service and layout.The butcher and fish counter associates are both serviceable and much better than the zombies in deli/premade (consistently the most attitude). 80% will give you stank face, 18% indifferent and on rare occasions, a unicorn will be spotted, the one who’s actually care about good service. Still, it’s better than 125th branch’s 99% stank face average.The product here is standard WF. On occasion, they’ll have a good selection of grass fed Venison and Bison and Pasteur raised chickens. The 12 for $12 oyster Friday is the move, get here before 4pm.They always run out of their branded coconut water (pink one) so when you see it out, grab some because it’ll be days until they put more out. You’re welcome.Checkout is 1000% faster than 59th street and Harlem. The self checkout is the hero but you knew that already, didn’t you Chad?

I’ve had nothing but positive experiences shopping at Whole Foods! As a woman of color, I truly appreciate feeling comfortable and respected in the store without being watched or hovered over. The staff is consistently professional, warm, and helpful, and the food is always fresh and of high quality. A big shoutout to the store manager for creating such an inclusive, welcoming environment. I’m always happy to shop here!

Joe couldnt have been more helpful on one of those gloomy, rainy, damp days when your are not willing to be hustled or pushed around. He is honest, very well versed and attentive to human detail. Thank you Joe.

The one bottle of wine I bought was merely okay, but with Trader Joe’s Wine Shop gone (as of March 2023), I NEED WHOLE FOODS in my LIFE.VERY affordable.

There are bottles here which not usually found in other wine stores. It would be better if they included bottles from other countries like Georgia, Romania, or Turkey.

The Store Hours on Google Maps lists a 10pm closing time. We arrived at 8:58pm on 4/8/2023 and it was closed and the security guard at the door would not let us in???

Nice people. They dont deliver. Unless you live there, nobody want to trek all the way to 99th street and lug their wine back to wherever you came from.

The prices are right and on point , however the wait in line is so unnecessary when they are 2 people near the register. And only one is open. Come on people step it up, with this CONVIN19 people dont need to be waiting more then 10 minutes to in a line to pay for the products.

I’m disappointed with the new paper shopping bags!! Handles did not work!! They disintegrated on my way home!!! Need better glue!!

They discount by 20% a case with 12 bottles of wine, any kind. They are knowledgeable and if you have an Amazon card, its an additional 5%

Discontinuing free (or even paid) delivery is a disappointment and I go less often because of that.

This is ridiculous! At the time the store is open isn’t even possible to get there after work.!Who drinks that early?
