There is always some sort of issue at this location. The staff is young, immature and extremly rude every visit. On one visit I walked in and out of 6 employees present no one acknowledged me because the staff was too busy looking at Halloween photos. I had to say HELLO to get someones attention and then they looked at me as if I had no right to be annoyed. Derek specifically likes to have visitors and chats up a storm while working. I watched him hold my half prepared drink while he chatting with a nurse. I had to turn to the nurse and ask if she can hang on a sec while he completes my order as he was distracted. I was the only customer there and start to finish it took 18 minutes for me to leave.On another occasion the lobby supposedly had no heat according to the little man who was screaming. They decided to close down the store and continue to turn away customers. No signs posted, no apologies just screaming at customers and included a pregnant employee in the mix. I have no idea how not having heat in the lobby prevents them from making beverages or heating up food but it was clear they wanted to get paid for doing nothing.I have called Starbucks cus serv several times to file a complaint. While they do take responsibility and compensate me for my issues, I still see the same idiots working there. More people need to file complaints so we can finally get good service at this very special location.

Very rude staff. The cashier was unable to scan my water bottle. I put it down in front of her so she could scan it herself and she got mad, cursed at me and said I’m not helping you. When the supervisor came over she said “you’re the one with the attitude.” Completely incompetent.

First off, I want to start of the inventory that the Starbucks has here. They don’t have anything to drink other than water and some can of pop that no one would drink. I went on the line ordered a summer berry lemonade. And when I was coming to pay, they told me that they do not accept cash. What if I don’t want to use my debit card can’t force someone to use a debit card or credit card and they don’t want to if I have the cash available I should have purchase the cash that I have, you guys need to shut this down or you going to get bad views…

They were quite rude here (way more rude than the location on 168th and broadway, only ~one block away). Bizarrely, they would not allow me to modify my iced espresso to be put into a larger cup, and seemed affronted that I would ever ask for such a thing. Overall a very poor experience -- I will likely just walk a block over to get the same product from nice people in the future.

I should have taken a picture before drinking most of it. But look at how light the picture looks! I ordered a large vanilla oatmilk latte and what I was given was pretty much an $8 cup of oatmilk! I rarely get Starbucks because I dislike paying so much for coffee and this location theres ALWAYS a line. If you want to waste 30-40 minutes of your time, come here! That is how long youll be waiting on line and for your order. So because there was an error with my order, they had to refund my original order and wait an additional 5 minutes for the manager to return. I kid you not, I dont EVER want to return to this location. Every-single-damn-time! Theres an issue with my order and I waste so much time & money here. PLEASE NEVER AGAIN!

Another issues i encountered here. I never complain online but the attitude of the workers here are so unprofessional. I ordered my regular macchiato drink and i been waiting for more than 10 minutes or so and two person behind me got their order already and i’m still waiting on mine. This guy came i think supervisor whatever and saw the cup with my order still on the counter. He made it and i just asked to make sure its coconut milk. Then i over heard him saying something. And the girl who is making all the drinks before that didn’t even apologize that she missed my order. They just whispering something about their work.

The last three time I had gotten service from here it ends up horrible. The cam frappe I had bought, taste like milk with water and ice . The staff is rude, and does not pay attention to what they are doing or the order that is order. I hope that this staff gets looked into because I wasted my funds throwing away the item all the time and it’s upsetting. I was trying to figure out who is the manager and no one will tell me. I suggest to have a manager or supervisor present so when someone has a problem they can speak and figure out the issues to the problem. I will never go to this Starbucks again.

BEWARE! Someone is constantly vandalizing the pin location of this Starbucks by placing it at 181st Street near St. Nicholas Ave. That is a satellite location of NewYork-Presbyterian and there is NO STARBUCKS in there! The correct pin location is at the NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center on Fort Washington Ave. near 168th Street. The Starbucks is located in the lobby and as a licensed location like those found inside a Target and airports, you cannot mobile order here on the Starbucks app.

Well there was a 30% off on a cup I asked why did she charge me regular price the worker very rudely said that it scanned regular price without even checking for the price I told her I found it in the basket that said 30% off she said well theres nothing I can do.. with an arrogant tone I said OK but when the other worker gave me my drinks I said thank you and she didnt even respond anything so I just said have a great day and walked away its sad that such a nice location and great hospital the one good store there other than the giftshop has such rude workers guess Im not going to that location anymore 3-8-23 6:30 ish

Today as I was making an order at this location I over heard a manager by the name of Maria Mascolo threatening an employee about training if he wouldn’t stay late. Seeing this in person made me so uneasy I was hesitant to order. The staff working were very polite and quick with the service but due to that being the management I will not be returning to this location. STAY AWAY FROM HERE !

The employees are very hateful, including the girl manager, they never prepare the order as you ask for and if you complain about not doing it as you ordered, they humiliate you and ignore you and it is as if they are all behind the girl manager and there are three African American girls. They also yell at you, they are very uneducated. It is the worst treatment I have received when buying my coffee. I think they should change the pardonal or prepare them better to provide a good service. thank you....

The line was long, the cashier and baristas were all having conversations loud, ignoring customers, and one barista cursed at the line because they ran out of espresso. This is a hospital for God sake. I am in my twenties and also work in the food industry. I get it, the pressure of working in this business is high but to handle people the way this crew did was just foul.

I admired Starbucks but from today’s experience I changed my opinion about this place. I asked the man for the biggest size of Latte with almond milk. He did not wait for me to finish my order and made American regular coffee with almond milk dripping leftover from 3 cartoons. When I asked him if this is latte, he confirmed. So I change the cashier and made complain, she without any questions made latte with regular milk. Again complain and almost all of the staff jumped on me assorting me as a lier. One of them ask me for my credit card to return the money. Unbelievable place, I feel very disappointed, discriminated and very very bad.They made me cry on the end.
