This wine bar is my favorite go-to in the summer and fall months. They offer a genuine selection of Greek wines and some finger food to go with them. But what I come here for most is the atmosphere. Cozy and quaint vibes you can get lost in for a while and forget you’re in one of the busiest cities on Earth.Go relax, bring with you a friend. Or a good book.
I love Stafili! Every time I come here, the experience is amazing. I’m a huge cheese girl, so I always get a cheese board and love to see what they have for me to try each time. This past visit, they had a variety of sheep’s milk cheeses that were all AMAZING. I had to fight myself not to finish the whole thing while my friend spilled the tea on her dating life haha!
Wonderful WV Greek wine bar - plenty of Greek cheese and wine options. The staff was super knowledgeable and helped us choose a wine we’d love. Definitely would come back!
A hidden gem! This Greek wine bar offers an incredible selection of authentic Greek wines. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it the perfect spot for a relaxing evening. Highly recommend for wine lovers looking for something unique!
This place is great. You really couldn’t ask for more. Awesome wines (love the unique focus on Greek wine), yummy food, the place itself is so cute with fun details (like the wine cork ceiling) and the service was just perfect. 10/10 would recommend!
Met a friend for coffee and walked together to Stafili so she could have a glass of wine while I had to run to take a call. Stafili was nearly empty so she had her pick of tables. As I said goodbye, I asked to use the restroom and was quickly denied access because I wasnt a seated customer. I was literally with a customer who was actively being seated. Heaven forbid Stafili treat others with respect and offer true service. Funny enough, I was actually thinking about staying or even coming back after my call. Not this time, and frankly not in the future either.
Great experience for happy hour! Perfect set up with a cozy atmosphere and good music. The wine was good as well as the bruschette
This place was just ok. The inside feels cramped when it gets busy. We came here for a little celebration on a week night and ordered a bottle of champagne, the Greek panini and the arugula salad. Not my favorite wine bar but the staff are very nice and the place seems pretty popular.
They have amazing selection of wines and happy hour on a red, white, and rose, and sparkling. The ambiance interior was nice with outdoor seating during great weather. Great explanation of the wine flight we received, however, felt rushed when we didnt finish our wines yet and gave us our check. We received a look that seemed judgmental prior to leaving, possibly due to the time we took in calculating the tip. I may be wrong, but I didnt appreciate the persons vibe.
Stopped in here for a bottle of wine and had a really relaxing & romantic experience. We sat by the window and got to people watch. Our waitress was very sweet and we enjoyed speaking with her.
TERRIBLE SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE! I made a reservation weeks in advance for outside seating to celebrate my birthday. When we arrived on time, we were not only seated inside, but 5 people to a 4 top table. There were bigger tables available but the employee pushed over a fifth chair to squish at the 4 top. Since we were going for dinner, it was not very conducive to an enjoyable evening, since one of my friends did not have table space to eat at. I felt very slighted and overlooked. We respectfully informed Sammy, the hostess, that we did not want to stay due to the lack of accommodation for our party .She informed us she would still charge us as “missed our reservation” even though we arrived promptly and our reservation was not upheld. I felt held hostage by the news this restaurant would abuse the card they had on file. It seems they were more interested in making money off my resy reservation than finding a solution to the issue. Very disappointed in my experience and I was very much looking forward to trying this restaurant right near my workplace To say the least, I will not be returning.
Young server curly hair guy - one of the rudest experiences i’ve had with a server. completely unnecessary and strange. also stopped two women from playing an innocent quiet game at their table (even though we were the only other people in there). to make it worse, when i went up to pay (and tip) I heard him laughing and gossiping about us. truly bizarre. not sure what we did apart from politely order a drink and promptly leave. hate to judge a place based on one unlucky experience but he was a jerk, plain and simple.
This place was honestly a bit disappointing! We came on a hot NYC summer evening and although eager to grab a table outside (their corner setup is really cute), none were available. Reluctantly, we decided to sit inside only to find out the place has zero air conditioning. Not sure if this is always the case, but our experience was hot and uncomfortable to say the least. We ordered some paninis - I got the goat cheese panini and it was nothing special. It was about 90% bread, 10% filling. We had some mix ups with our food order - never received our appetizer and my friend got served the wrong food.Overall, the food was a miss but the tasty wine was the silver lining.
Beautiful place with great atmosphere. And of course Panos is the best ❤️I trusted him with the wine and he picked a great bottle for us (and one of the cheapest in the menu)
Very cozy, welcoming ambience, a few blocks from the Whitney and 14th Street /Mest Packing district. Excellent finger food with decent portions, and very good prices. The spicy feta cheese spread is not be missed, and the charcuterie boards are all you need to have a fabulous time. Excellent wine selection - be mindful that theyre mostly from Greece, but be adventurous! Theres something for everyone.
Amazing ambiance! Love the mirrors and the ceiling! Great wine card and the sommelier Carolina introduced my girlfriend and I to different varietals from Greece! Cool snacks as well! Randomly found this place but will come back next time we’re in NY.
Absolutely adorable wine bar with some truly fantastic wines. The service we received from Panos was above and beyond. Highly recommended for anyone in NYC. A Greenwich gem.
We enjoyed the black truffle oil crepe but didn’t particularly like the Red Flight. We asked to order separate glasses instead given our strong distaste for the red wines. Our waiter asked if we were “wine educated” before telling us that others have found the flight to be excellent. This, and the rest of the interactions with him, felt condescending. The service left a profoundly negative taste in our mouths - much more so than the wine.Management served an extra glass and comped the flight, but we will not be coming back.
My friend recently introduced me to Stafili and it is the definition of a neighborhood gem! Unlike other places in the area, the staff and overall feel at Stafili is incredibly warm and welcoming. The wines are solid and the spritz transports me to a European vacation. But in my opinion, the show stopper here is the burrata with prosciutto. I’ve had a lot of burrata but for some reason this little bundle of mozzarella is something special. You can tell the management and staff genuinely cares about providing good hospitality which is honestly rare these days, especially in NYC.
Awesome little find! The most wonderful staff. Great selection of wines! And delicious appetizers to round out the experience. Loved it.
This Greek restaurant in West Village is a real gem. The food is outstanding, with fresh and flavorful dishes, I loved tuna tartare and Stafili salad a lot!. The orange wine is a must-try, as well. The service is friendly and attentive, making for a great dining experience.10/10
Came here for a quick drink on a Saturday afternoon. Busy, but was still able to get a table. Seems like a good place to spend some time with friends.
Management is very rude when dealing with customers and the staff can be snobby, unhelpful, and standoffish at times (though some have been nice after trying this a few times). Wines are fine, but the overall service experience is poor. Vin Sur Vingt has much nicer wines, staff, and atmosphere if youre looking for a better wine bar.
Very cool Greek wine bar. Cosy vibe. Interesting to try Greek wines with some natural options.
Fantastic wine and cool vibe. come here on a date, for a girls night out, friends catch up, anything. low key and great wine. greek wine focus giving some diversity from other wine bars. cheese board is a nice compliment to any bottle.
Chris (The Owner) is an awesome and knowledge wine expert. Offers great advice for a nice bottle.Great service, vibe and tunes, friendly and very knowledgeable staff, a true neighborhood gem.Dont forget to try the amazing coffee !!!!!10 Stars!!!!
Nice place, great service, with good snacks, and a lot of choice of Greek wine
The atmosphere here is very modern and cozy. Lots of wood panelling and BEAUTIFUL ceiling with at least 15K corks! Solid service, pretty good appetizers/light snacks. Bring the important Greeks in your life here.
Visited on a Thursday night. Great suggestions from the staff on wine choices. Had the Moschfilero and the Assirtico. Loved the wine choices and the atmosphere was casual but warm. Will be visiting again.
When on vacation to my son’s Bday, we went to try this restaurant that had so many great reviews, the wine was excellent and the food was delicious. We actually got the pleasure to met the owner Chris. He treated us very well. Thank you for a great experience. I will definitely come back and I highly recommend this place to everyone.
This place looks nice but the personnel at the door leaves something to be desired. The ‘bouncer’ did not allow my Swedish visiting friend to enter to have a drink although the place was half empty. He told him to reserve, which he did right away on his phone. The ‘bouncer’ did not accept the reservation and was very unfriendly.
The Greek waitress is very sympathetic. Every time we go, she arranges a table for us from outside. Her conversation is very nice. Thank you my friend. Kalispera!
Amazing wine selection, great atmosphere both inside and outside during spring/summer!
I don’t live in the West Village but if I did I would be one happy resident of the neighborhood. What a great place to meet friends, and have a top notch wine from Stafili. Super friendly staff, so welcoming and they take reservations! Truly unique place with the wine list being entirely from Greece! Will be back for sure!
A Greek wine cafe thats at once homey and refined! We had a wonderful time sipping on happy hour orange wine, and various other Greek reds on a Friday evening! Wonderful ambiance and I continue to look forward to Stafili introducing NYC to the excellent Greek wine scene!
Wandered in here last night at random and was blown away. Chris, the owner, has carefully and lovingly curated a diverse wine list exclusively from his native Greece. Chris knows his wine, and it shows - he walked us through a mini-tasting before we ordered, giving us background on the growers, vintners, and regions where he sourced his wines. The corner space itself is magnificent (look up!) and though it was too late and we were too full to eat, the crepes smelled fantastic as they went by - will definitely grab a bite next time Im in.TL;DR, go drink wine here. You wont regret it.
Amazing unique wine selection focused on Greek grape varieties and producers. Cozy ambience with excellent service. Overall, it felt like I was back in Greece..
What a place in the West Village of Manhattan! Here, you can taste unique Greek wines and flavors! Chris (the owner) is an amazing guy and George will guide you so you can make the choices that suit you the best! Highly recommended!
Not upset, just confused by the poor hospitality. We have been locals coming here for 2 years, you could always walk in for wine and receive chill relaxed service with excellent selections. When local residents come to enjoy your business, and you let in influencers with no remorse, you are no longer a local establishment.
After leaving another restaurant with the worst service we had the great fortune of walking in and getting our spirits lifted by Dimitri. We only had a bottle of wine but will be back soon to have a meal at this beautiful spot. The music was excellent and the lighting very relaxed. Lots of couples there snuggled in close and enjoying their night. We sat at the side window counter and watched everyone walking by while drinking a beautiful red “Naked King” suggested by Dimitri. Can’t wait to go back!
Awesome hh! Great selection of wines and delicious food!
Fantastic place! Great service, very friendly, awesome atmosphere. The wine is of very high quality and theyve got good food for pairing. We go here all the time and love it!
Funny, welcoming and very competent this team creates an unforgettable atmosphere. You’d think there has to be a catch but no, the food is incredible as well.
Walked in mid afternoon with a friend and we were going to take a few pictures while as we had some wine and was told we had to make a reservation for that - the place was empty. Safe to say I won’t be returning.
Very good wine and excellent customer service. The owner even came by to welcome us
I went with my wife for a glass of wine between a meeting and getting home, and we had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly, the drinks, delicious and the service, surprisingly fast. Will certainly return!
I’m so disappointed with Stafili’s service and wine quality. The crepe was absolutely amazing - we ordered the black truffle oil one and were blown away. Our night was unfortunately ruined by our server who was incredibly condescending, demeaning, and rude about the wines.
If you’re a person of color, don’t bother. sat for 25 minutes and not a single waiter bothered to stop by our table. meanwhile, every other party who entered after us was serviced immediately. too many other options in the area where you won’t be treated like a second class citizen.
Chris (Christos) the owner is a gem. We wandered in a few weeks ago and tried a few lovely wines and some of the plates. The lamb prosciutto and crepe with Greek cheeses and truffle oil are absolutely delicious. We will be regulars here!
Loved Stafili until last night! Have been coming here for drinks with my boyfriend and friends for years. We put our name on the waitlist and waited outside. We walked in to use the bathroom while we were waiting for our table where we were all about to buy a bottle of wine. We were chased by the hostess that only “seated guests” could use the bathroom to which I responded, “I am About to be?”
I was made to feel ignored at this restaurant. My friend and I stood outside for over 45 minutes after being told a table would be available in 20 mins. The owner and his wife were in and out and knew we had asked for a table. They never acknowledged us. We drank a glass of wine in the street and left. The pour was similar to a sample. Its unfortunate because I wanted to like it but it was unprofessional.
Loved it. Stumbled across walking back to hotel from high line. Great win!
The bad review(s) must have been written by a compulsive liar or under the influence. Dear reader please don’t deprive yourself of the joy that is dining here.
Really nice time. Good wine, great staff who helped us make good choices.
We are locals who collectively have been coming here for a couple of years now and have always appreciated the more relaxed atmosphere compared to other wine bars in WV- which is why I am at lost for words for the experience I had last night. We arrived and ask the waitress how long for a table for a party of our size, where she told us reservations could only be made through Resy. Ok fair enough we thought, and found a reservation for our party size available in 15 minutes on the app and booked it. We showed the waitress and stood outside to wait. 2 of us tried to go use the bathroom while we waited to be seated and were chased down by the waitress who told them only seated customers could use the bathrooms and blocked them from going any further into the restaurant. At this point it’s about 5 minutes until our resy reservation so we approach the hostess again to plead if they could please use the bathroom as we only had a few more minutes until time. Not only did she deny them entry to the bathroom, she told us she would actually not be able to accommodate the reservation we had made. Meanwhile, we had seen at least 4 groups enter and be seated while we waited outside. At this point we decided to leave, where we saw a whole row of empty bar stools that would have fit our parties size. I truly have never experienced more disrespectful treatment.
A cosy wine bar with a nice vibe, great wine list with some interesting options, including orange and biodynamic wines. The service was fun, playful and professional, how a wine bar should be.All bruschetta come in two pieces so it is perfect for sharing.
Amazing and well curated wine bar. The owner Chris is very welcoming and attentive and has created a great atmosphere. Strongly recommend the crepes as well!
Fantastic service. Very patient and accommodating to insure the guests had a wonderfuln experience. The hummus and burrata was tasty and fresh. The sparkling Rosé was refreshing.
One of the best places I ever been in New York City. Great vibes, drinks and food. I suggest to everyone to there!
Great place! The staff were so funny, welcoming, friendly and their recommendations for the wine were great! Definitely coming here again!
Friendly welcome, cozy feel and great paninis and crepes.
Stafili is fantastic! I live a street away so I come here often - the owner, Kris (my apologies, probably spelled incorrectly) is always here and a lovely gentleman. The food and wine list are great and the vibes are even better 😎
Great place for a date. I was there with my wife and we enjoyed drinks and food in the early evening.Great Food, wine, and service. Also the location is amazing- a calm and beautiful street.
Favorite wine bar in the city! Perfect quiet corner in the Village for outdoor seating & extremely friendly servers with a great happy hour.
Great service, food, and wine as per usual. Go-to spot, love it here
Wine is great. Service is even better. Thumbs up for this beautiful wine bar in the village.
This place is stunning!! A gorgeous meal and the staff is so knowledgeable. Chris was a gem. He took care of us and knew everything about their wine selections. If you’re looking for some laid-back, yet delicious and refined definitely head this way.
Amazing Wine Bar Cafe, just a great concept, amazing Music ,a real Gem in the “West Village”large variety of Greek Wines, refreshing and delicious bites, this place and service by Owner Christos Lampadaris is just top of the line, outstanding!so much you could stay for hours and totally could lose track of time👈🏽thank you so much Chris see you soon.
The place to be. Staff is great wines are just perfect. My favorite place.
Get the truffle cheese crepe. You will not regret it, even if it makes you feel like you ate a lead ball an hour later. It’s worth it, I promise.
Nice vibe and good wine. Happy hour prices were very reasonable
Wonderful Greek Wine Bar with the nicest staff!!!! We ordered some amazing wines, from Yiannoudi to Mandilaria, plus an extensive list of Xinomavro. Kataplixtiko!!!! Exeretico!!!!
Food must be old and tasteless.I found the food very basic and very expensive and no taste.Staff were very unpleasant
I live 2 blocks away and sadly we’ve had multiple experiences where the staff is unnecessarily rude. Save yourself and go to the many other amazing options in the neighborhood. My 7-months pregnant wife was with a table full of people who were ordering wine, since she was so pregnant she just wanted water but instead she was rudely told by the staff that all guests were required to order something on the menu—unnecessary.Another time, all 10+ two-top tables outside were completely empty on a windy afternoon. Four of us guests asked if we could order wine and snacks but move two of the tables together to enjoy — we even offered to them back if anyone else came— but the staff rudely told us no tables were permitted to be moved together. The outside tables then remained completely empty.
Delicious Greek wines, knowledgeable & kind staff, hidden gem in the Village.
Wine is not great but love the atmosphere here
5+ stars for food, service, atmosphere, location and wine selection!
Terrible service ruins a great location. Been here a few times but every time we go it’s a different staff member but they are all extremely rude.Want to be talked down to by the staff? This is your place.Want the staff to rudely act like it’s inconvenient when you ask to sit an empty table outside? YupWant the staff to tell you even though outside is empty (literally no one) you need to sit in certain tables against the street because they want to save their 2 table topsWant to feel pressured that you haven’t ordered enough? Yup they have too.I wish many inconveniences on this place. The west village has many better options!
Great spot in the west village. Very good wine collection. Food is ok
Amazing place to discover Greek wines and listen to cozy music! Bravo to the staff team
Great place and very kind servers. Also good espresso.
This place is a MUST when you visit NYC. The staff is friendly and super nice. Prices are reasonable for the quality they serve you (100/100). The atmosphere is cozy and gives off pretty cool vibes😁. happy customer over here.
Beautiful place with a great wine selection. Wonderful service.
Great service and awesome staff! This place is awesome for a date! Highly recommend!
I love this wine bar! Great to come on a date or with girlfriends :) kind staff, great food and great wine
The Greek wines are Incredible and the staff are so kind and generous. I would strongly recommend.
Almost pissed myself and they still wouldn’t let me use their restroom.
Our waiter, a slim Greek gentleman, was quite condescending and had a rather strange demeanor, ie. raising his eyebrows as we tasted the wines, furrowing his eyebrows - as if confused or offended - when I asked for something similar to a Merlot or Beaujolais - to which he curtly replied “we don’t have that,” and kept reiterating this as if it was a request so outlandish, so utterly foolish of me to ask at a wine bar.Throughout our time there, he continued his condescension towards me while being contrastingly lovely towards my male companion, do with that information what you will.Wine selection is also quite bizarre. Lots of lesser-known varieties from Greece with no descriptions whatsoever on the menu. No offense to the wines of the region, as I’m sure there are many great kinds out there, we just didn’t taste any of them here. The closest bottle they had to a Merlot [insert waitstaff condescension here] had ‘notes’ of what can only be politely described as a mix of movie theatre popcorn and manure, and not in a good way. After trying two or three bottles overall, one worse than the other, we panic-settled on the least rancid tasting one. We didn’t want to upset our waiter any more than we already had.Bottomline: unhelpful waiter, sexist vibes, terrible wines. The upsides are the location, and the fact that it’s a pretty cute spot with a lovely Al fresco indoor/outdoor setup. This is a suitable spot for the social media inclined and the folks going for the vibes rather than the wines. Just don’t ask for a Merlot.
Obsessed. Lovely team / staff. Delicious, affordable selection of Greek wines. Happy hours during the week for spritz wine and beer. And the food is so cheap but so unbelievably good. All of this in one of the most picturesque settings of west village!! Unbeatable.
Amazing place.... I love it when people do such a good job. Keep it up
Great and warm place, staff very friendly and Chris the owner is a great guy. Would definitely visit again.
My go-to. Great spot for dates, and friends’ gatherings as well.
Girl host is new and unexperienced.
Cutest wine bar with a great neighborhood charm and Chris is the best host
Cozy local spot with amazing wine selection, and great service.
Go to spot for a chill glass of wine
Cozy! Perfect for dates, nice n quiet ambience
Fantastic atmosphere, very friendly staff and owners, recommended highly 👌
Beautiful atmosphere and great wine list. staff is very helpful and attentive!
I came here at 6pm on a Sunday and there were only 6 other people at the place. You could walk in without a reservation. The bar is very cute with a trendy/chill vibe. They have an extensive wine menu and 4 cocktail options.
The waitress with the blonde bun needs to take a Xanax. Claimed I needed a “minimum consumption value” to eat here? What the hell is that. Ew.
Cozy wine bar in WV with an extensive menu of Greek wines (reds, whites, oranges). Small bites are also available. Perfect for date night or catching up with a friend. The interior is small but has large windows on either side, making it ideal for people watching. Service was laid back & not intrusive. Would come again!
Very nice place! Big variety of greek wines, friendly staff !
Came across this little place a few weeks ago while walking in Greenwich. It was happy hour. We had a white wine, a couple of yummy spritzes and some delicious olives! Really cute place, very relaxing and unpretentious, we sat outside, they were accommodating as it was a small table and there’s were three of us. Very friendly staff and everything we had was delicious. Will definitely pay them another visit when we are back there again!
Nice low-key Greek wine bar just south of Meatpacking.
Great little wine bar. Accommodated me even though they were busy. Very friendly and welcoming. Good wine and good vibes.
Love the ambiance of stafili wine bar. Its a nice cozy place with a great wine collection. Besides the atmosphere, my compliments to my server Carolina who was very attentive and a wine connoisseur.
Great wine bar in a cool location and fun happy hour! Cozy spot with a nice fire.
Amazing place to relax and have drinks and food...great staff and customer service
Beautiful and cozy wine bar! The wine is great and food is amazing! The tzatziki is to die for.
Fantastic place. The only place with an exclusively Greek wine list. Service was brilliant.
Watch out for dishonest waiter who will hustle you.I have been to this place a dozen times but I will NOT be coming back again after yesterday’s night. Why would you advertise Happy Hour every day from 3-7 pm and then charge my drinks at full price? The dishonest behavior of of the waiter (tall brunette with a beard) has absolutely ruined the experience for me.My girlfriend and I went here yesterday and ordered three glasses of wine (2 of them we ordered at 6:00pm and the last one at 6:45pm) then we asked for the check at 7:20pm; unfortunately, I didn’t realize the waiter charged full price for the 3 glasses of wine instead of Happy Hour prices. Super dishonest and sneaky behavior from this waiter. Shame on you if this is the way you decide to make money off of people.
Honestly did not like it that much here. The wine I had wasn’t great. The interior design also. The salad was good and so was the service. But otherwise wouldn’t be going back.
Lovely corner spot with great seating options including a bar that wraps around the interior corner which faces windows that can be opened. We had a great natural white wine, the burrata, goat cheese bruschetta, the arugula salad with smoked salmon (my favorite by far!) and the gaviera panini. Excellent, light fare with delicious wine. Service was attentive but gave us privacy and space which we greatly appreciated
Is it a wine bar or night club? I’ve been there with the girls they were welcoming so well. Honestly saying I love their wine list, which I’ve been this wineries for tasting. But when I visit by myself to drink some wine, they asked reservation even place and bar has an many empty spaces. You lost one wine lover, and the other wine lovers will understand my review.
I absolutely love this place. The owner Chris makes you feel at home from the minute you get there till the minute you leave. There’s a great happy hour and the food includes small plates, salads and sandwiches. I’ve tried several all were very good. It’s new to the neighborhood and it’s a wonderful addition.
The excellent ambiance is the first thing you notice when you get in Stafili. The great wine selection and the delicious finger food come right after. I would definitely recommend this place but the experience in such a warm and cozy environment surpass any good comments regarding the genuine Greek hospitality of Stafili and its staff.
Great wine list, charming location with outdoor seating, friendly and helpful staff.
One of the worst service experiences of my life. As soon as I sat down, they started hounding me to order something when I hadn’t even seen the menu. When I wanted to order something, they said it was unavailable and pressured me to make another choice. I said I needed more time, but they persisted to send several different servers to pressure me to order just a $6 dollar sparkling water. When they finally decided I needed to leave, they refused to listen to me. They had already concluded in their minds I was a ‘rule breaker’ that was not respecting their rules, and that I ‘don’t need to understand the rules to respect them’. I understand that space is limited at a small bar, and they have a one-drink minimum, but seriously, give a girl some space and time to make a decision. They also didn’t know anything about the wines when asked.
Great location, great wine from the Aegean sea. You would be in love with the color and aroma of these greek island wines. Can not recommend more.
Nice out door sitting, in a quiet West village street!
Cute spot, though we had a pretty bad time here. Wines are on the expensive side, staff was not great at describing the wines, they suggested the most expensive things on the menu, and they forced my wife to leave because she didn’t want a drink.
Love this West Villiage wine bar. Great wines and good food options with a local, charming vibe.
We very much enjoyed the wine and the localsy vibe at Stafili. The wine was complex and delightful in a well balanced way, the service was attentive and the wine recommendations were both great (we had 2, one of which had been aged in an amphora and had a lovely slightly sweet flavour). The reason why I’ve given 4 instead of 5 stars is because the food seemed a little overpriced / the bruschette were a bit scant (2 tiny slices each with a flake of prosciutto for over $20 and moderately normal in flavour). But the food was also good and seemed on the more homey side. The bread and spicy feta were the highlight from the dishes we ordered.
A fabulous new find in Greenwich Village. Had an early brunch...food, music, ambiance and service top notch. Youwon t be disappointed.
Great vibe / lovely staff / nice food / great drinks
My new favorite spot in all of New York City! The wine selection was phenomenal, the patrons are great, and the owner Chris is such a sweetheart! I ended up spending hours here laughing, drinking great wine, and enjoying the beautiful view! Also the turkey crêpe was to die for. Can’t wait to come back!!
Great Greek wine selection!
This will be new fave wine spot when I I’m in the area. From the service to the WINE to the food (olives, bread, cheese platters), all perfect. Great atmosphere. Just one thing - the cherry tomato bruschetta was missing,Uhm, cherry tomatoes. It was good, but there were two half cherries perfectly placed on the toast. Is this the way the Greeks do it? :)
Good selection of wines with a nice atmosphere
Good wine, good service, good food! It has happy hour and prices and very reasonable for the location!
Love this Greek Wine Bar. Definitely a neighborhood gem! Great service.
Great place with a good selection of Greek wine and delicious pastries and snacks. The service is amazing and Chris is a great owner. Happy Hour from 3-7pm
This place is very local. You can always go and have tasty wines and bites with chill environment…
An unexpected find while looking for a leisurely late afternoon light bite and glass of wine. Excellent selection of Greek wines and knowledgeable waitstaff.
Easiest 5star ever. Amazing wine tasting place, excellent quality and display of greek tastes.
Cute place in a great part of town. highly recommend.
Excellent service delicious spritz and wine. Beautiful decor
Demetri was accomodating and knowledgeable. Very inviting space and pup friendly.

Tiny glass of wine
What makes this wine bar truly exceptional in the bohemian and charming West Village is its combination of premium Greek wines and unique cuisine. Owned by Christos, a passionate wine connoisseur, the bar consistently delights even the most discerning palates. The staff is friendly, cheerful, and eager to assist, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. From the moment I entered, I was captivated by the ambiance, with the wine cork ceiling being a particularly striking feature. As for the wines, my friend and I enjoyed two glasses—Zakynthino and Cabernet Franc—which were absolutely perfect. The food was equally delightful. We savored a spicy feta cheese spread, a selection of Greek olives, and the Stafili plate, which featured the chef’s selection of cured meats and many cheeses, paired with honeycomb. Another standout was the Stafili salad—a delicious mix of arugula, goat cheese, cranberries, roasted red peppers, walnuts, and a homemade Stafili vinaigrette. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and can’t wait to return to explore more dishes.
Very cozy restaurant. Clean, neat and nicely decorated. We were lucky enough to walk around this fine neighborhood today (14th Street West Manhattan). Then we saw this cute restaurant. We each had a glass of wine and some snacks.Lovely atmosphere, very nice waiter. We got really good wine for our snacks.
Super nice bar restaurant. Top notch welcome and service. Attentive and super pleasant staff. Nice music and guaranteed atmosphere. Excellent food and more than reasonable prices. To renew...
Very good quality and range of wines ideal to accompany our food....excellent service from the staff....Especially at Panagiotis......
Excellent shop. A true gem of the city. Chris is a great guy and professional.
Very nice place with good wine and good Greek food
