I ate dinner at this establishment with some friends after touring around NYC. It was good food, however I have some disclaimers about the place. Since the place is busy you’re going to have a 30 minute wait time~ and you cannot call ahead. The atmosphere is like most NYC joints and just bustling white noise. Our server didn’t exactly make an effort to explain much to us even after questions but he was witty if that’s your sort of thing. Never told us his name, we couldn’t really get his attention since he was constantly moving. I saw some hosts literally running so just be careful. Besides that, I got the pizza since it was a safe bet it was pretty good but it’s pretty thin and for one person. I also didn’t like that there were no photos of the food cause I felt like I might get ripped off. Bill was high but that’s to be expected in the city. I also went to the bathroom and there were many people in and out so it was kind of nasty. Maybe if you’re going out for a drink that’s pretty good. We were also told we only had an hour and a half to dine. Was kind of underwhelming being that it’s not clearly stated elsewhere. One thing I really liked was that our server was very explicit about allergies and such to make sure nobody was in danger.

I think the pizza is very good if you like thin pizza which I do the sauce and the cheese were very good. The Caesar salad was just OK and we also got chicken palliard which I would’ve liked a little thinner, but it was OK as well. It’s a great location, we came at a time where the staff was changing from dayshift to evening shift so the service was not as good as I think it usually is …but the waiters are very nice. Never came back to check on the food until the new guy came, but I will definitely go back as I really like the pizzaRap music is not what I want to hear played at the bar while I’m dining in an Italian restaurant.

Found this restaurant on the first day of our stay at Manhattan, and happened to visit on our last day just before the flight. There are very few Italian restaurants in the country, who try to understand the taste buds of the customers and modify the dishes accordingly, and Pazza Note is one of those. The man was kind enough to understand what we need (especially me) since I’m a vegetarian and I was looking for something that’s not on the menu. I requested for Pink Penne Pasta with Vegetables. The dish came out better than what I expected, just the right amount of Marinara and Alfredo 👌 The drinks were good too! Glad we could make a visit and feel happy about it!

An absolutely wonderful place to spend our first dinner in New York. It was Christmas Eve and the restaurant has outdoor seating but it’s on the sidewalk and you were offered an absolutely wonderful view of the busy street outside. It was heated inside, and was very reasonably warm. The service was out of this world. Our waitress was super friendly, super helpful and all around a wonderful person to be taking care of us on Christmas Eve.The salad that I had was absolutely perfection and I’m still thinking about it while writing this review. My wife had the pasta. De Mar (seafood) and it was packed with huge amounts of lobster and crab. Could not finish at all had to take it home.We had two for one martinis, which were absolutely delicious and would highly recommend the lychee martini Sun-dried tomato butter for the fresh bread they served was extremely delicious and was very unexpected to be so flavorful. We finished dinner off with a coffee. It was an absolutely wonderful touch to the evening. Cannot wait to go back. Highly recommended.

I rarely write reviews, but after my experience at Pazza Notte, I feel the need to share my disappointment. My family and I, a party of 8 adults, a 5-year-old boy, and 2 babies, had an unfortunate encounter with the restaurants management. We arrived and were told there would be a 40-minute wait, which was manageable. When we were seated, the restaurant split us into two tables, which we didn’t mind. However, my baby girl was asleep in her stroller, and I politely asked the waiter if I could leave it next to our table since it wasn’t bothering anyone. The waiter agreed, and everything seemed fine. Then, the floor manager (if he was indeed the manager) came over and rudely demanded that we fold the stroller, despite it not being in anyone’s way. I tried to explain that the stroller was not causing any disturbance and that my baby was sleeping, but the manager insisted, even though the waiter had already given us approval. His attitude was not only rude but condescending, and it made the situation unnecessarily stressful.Despite the fact that the stroller was not bothering anyone, the manager came back multiple times, repeatedly insisting that we remove the stroller. I understand that every business has rules, but this situation called for a little humanity and flexibility. It wasn’t about the stroller; it was the way the manager treated us. The entire exchange went on for over 20 minutes, and our food sat untouched as it got cold.Eventually, we decided to leave the restaurant. The food was cold and uneaten, and we did not want to continue dealing with the manager’s rude behavior. I could have left without paying, as we didn’t eat the food, but I didn’t want to punish the staff who had been more reasonable. Unfortunately, I will never return to Pazza Notte, and I highly recommend the management reconsider the attitude of their floor manager if they want to keep their customers.

Good food, hostess was a little grumpy, wait staff was very attentive and kept up the entire time.Started with the steak skewers. One was medium rare/almost rare but the others were cooked well. Seasoning was interesting but good none the less. Fasilli, Fettuccine Pesto, and RISOTTO ai FRUTTI di MARE were the three dishes we ordered. All three were great but I actually five the nod to the Fasilli. Sausage (skimped a bit) along with the pasta was amazing. The sauce was done well and not too heavy. All in all you cant go wrong with at least these three items and I did see the pizza but didnt get to taste any so cant comment. However they are pretty big in proportion so definitely enough for two.Skipped dessert sadly. Some notes. If there is a wait they give you a simple number so stay close by or they will skip you. Also they have outdoor seating on the street but its a very busy area so we stayed inside. It can be loud inside especially in the 6-7 happy hour time and happy hour 2 for 1 Martinis so feel free to double fist - ha!

Nice Italian food served up in a convenient location for us. Not the type of place Id drive out of my way to. However this place has some good reasonable entrees worth trying, we did and were very satisfied. Just be aware the noice level gets up there when the place fills in, the seating gets tight too, scaffolding is across the front door and windows( gives atmosphere one less star), the meals are prepared like youd expect from a bar and pizza restaurant point of view, nothing too exciting although very satisfying( gives one less star). We had the special Linguini fruit de mare ( tasty but lacking any abundance of fish we were expecting), and the grilled Atlantic Salmon was cooked as ordered, nice crispy outer part placed on a mound of creamy mashed potatoes supported on a row of asparagus made this dish the stand out for our visit. We were enticed by a thin crust pizza at another table surely worth giving a try... We will remember when we return to the area.

An Italian restaurant married a sports bar and gave birth to this place. It has some great dishes on the menu. The quatro stagione Pizza is great and the salads are nice too. Service was polite, courteous and friendly. The place got busy and noisy quickly for an early dinner on a Friday night. the beer selection was fairly varied but slim and no tap beer is available. The service from our waiter was great, but things went downhill when our table time was nearing the 1.5-hour limit. We weren’t given any updates about how much time we had left. As soon as we asked for the check, Malcolm, a staff member, abruptly told us our time was up and that we needed to leave. I still had a full drink, and instead of offering an option like moving us to the bar, he just kept insisting we had to vacate the table immediately, even though we hadn’t been rushed until that point.I calmly tried to discuss how his approach came across, but Malcolm wasn’t open to hearing any feedback. Shockingly, he even threatened to not allow me back in the restaurant simply because I politely brought up the issue. This was completely unprofessional and made what had been an enjoyable evening until then turn into an uncomfortable and frustrating experience. This used to be my go-to spot, but after this, I’ll be telling my colleagues about the poor hospitality and unacceptable behavior. If they need the table back after the allotted time, they should inform guests throughout the meal, not resort to threats after we ask for the check.

We were the only people physically waiting and I could see the hostess was bouncing off the walls busy. Not her fault at all, she was super friendly and apologetic! She was the only reason we didn’t step out and find somewhere else after waiting so long to be acknowledged. It would have been nice while waiting to at least have been greeted and offered a menu to check out by one of the other employees that were floating around at a much more leisurely pace.

The wild mushroom soup was divine. Perfect balance on truffle oil and mushroom. Fresh bread served complimentary was also tasty. Truffle fries were fresh and we loved the garlic sauce served with it. The only downside was the water served at the table wasn’t filtered and tasted metallic. Service was a bit slow and we had to ask for refill on iced tea and plates weren’t cleared quickly so the table was a bit cramped. This didn’t diminish the meal, just an observation on how improvement could be made on experience. Overall 5 stars. Ambience was comfortable and cozy. It would also be lovely to have some beer offered on draft, but bottles selection was appropriate.

We wanted to have dinner here as they have an outside patio where they do allow dogs. We called them to ask if we could reserve a patio table. They informed us that they accommodated diners on a first come first serve basis, which is absolutely fine. They also informed us that there was a 30 minute wait for an outside patio table. Once we reached the restaurant, they gave us a number and told us that we should have a table in 30 minutes and possibly sooner. We waited for about 20 minutes and I went in to check for an estimate of our wait time. The server told me that the wait time could be 30 to 45 minutes. When I told her that she had earlier said that the wait would be 30 minutes or less, she didnt seem to care much. After waiting for another 15 minutes or so, we saw two tables (each seating two people) became empty. We were hopeful that they would join these two table to accommodate our party of 3. However, we saw that one of the two tables was given to another party (who could have been seated inside as well as there were many empty tables inside!). At this point we had waited for more than 45 minutes and we decided to leave. The place really lives up to their name! You will have a pazza (crazy) time dealing with the staff here. Find another place (the smaller restaurant right next to it!) if you are in this area. Poor service!

Prices were reasonable within Manhattan. Decided to have something generic so I ordered the Penne alla Vodka with shrimp and a side caesar salad. The penne was made very well. El dente penne with a delicious rose sauce. The cheese was very generous. The only disappointment was the side caesar for 7.00. It was just romaine witn caesar dressing and a bit of parmasean cheese, but the description of the caesar salad was with egg and anchovies. Maybe it is only with their regular caesar. The bread came with a house made butter which was surprising and flavorful. The place seems to attract a loud drinking crowd so it is not really a place if you want a quiet meal.

We were recommended here by a local barman who let us know there’s happy hour between four and six! We had two glasses of wine for $15 and the wine was good too so I was very happy! We came back here a second time because we enjoyed it however we missed out on happy hour by ten minutes the second time as it was busy and had to wait for a table. It is a popular place! The food was really nice. I had caprese salad with salt and vinegar fries and Greek salad the second night. Portions are big but I think all British people find this in USA! Nice touches here such as a warm bread bun on the house. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Very busy atmosphere, lots of families and also couples. I’d recommend this as a lower priced busy Italian with lots of choice, great portions and a friendly vibe in a central location.

HORRIBLE. The owner/upper management need to re-evaluate their hostess and assistant manager/s.Based on our experience, this place is not kid friendly, nor friendly in general. If you are looking for a solid Italian meal, the culture here is not what you want. They have a great touristy location, which seemingly allows this Italian food restaurant to get away with horrible hospitality.I witnessed several patrons coming in and the hostess looked like she was trying to scare them away with the wait time. Due to the location, which naturally brings in lots of foot traffic, this has seemingly caused the hostess to want to minimize people eating at the restaurant. After all, repeat customers are not needed and the restaurant will always be full or tourists. Additionally, the assistant manager was worse than the hostess and was completely clueless regarding hospitality. Perhaps he forgot what a restaurant is supposed to offer and how hard it will be in the off season. The restaurant industry is tough and when tourist season is over, (especially in NYC), hopefully this restaurant will get things figured out with their staff. What I witnessed was very unhappy employees. Hopefully the owner/upper management monitor these reviews and will take necessary steps to resolve these issues.

The food is amazing, real Italian food tastes perfect.Unfortunately, the service was so terrible, maybe could say the worst in my life. Such a shame for a restaurant like this to have waiter who was very rude. We came with 3 kids, first he said they dont have high chair for baby, we saw the high chair and show him than he was Aha yes we have, we ordered a shared dish of pasta for toddler and a baby, he didnt bring two plates, when I asked him twice to bring me specific plate for pasta,he sad there you go and brought me a flat plate for pasta. Than I must convince him that if kids start eating from flat plate there would be pasta everywhere there is a reason how pasta is served in specific plate its not a sandwich. He roll his eyes and brought the right plate. Later we ordered cake, he brought us ice cream, but than I didnt bother to speak with him. He was so rude rolling eyes all the time, something I have never experienced in my life. This man with British accent at the end brought us a bill 5 times bigger than ours, my husband of course told him that it wasnt ours and the first time we saw him being polite of course it was so fake, I couldnt wait for kids to finish their meal and to never come back again. Sadly this person ruined our impression of this lovely night...Again, so sad that service was so terrible cause the food was amazing...
