I made a reservation for dinner on the weekend and was excited by the beautiful decor and friendly service even before we started eating. I ordered a glass of white wine and the truffle pasta. The pasta was cooked to my liking, and the generous amount of truffle was immediately noticeable, making it a delicious dish.My friend opted for the daily pasta, which had a lemony olive oil flavor, and it was also really tasty. We wanted dessert, but after finishing our hearty pasta dishes, we were too full to indulge. 😂I definitely want to come back for a special occasion next time!

As an Italian, I have mixed feelings about this review because the staff was Italian and very nice - I found them incredibly professional and available. It was my friend’s birthday and they accommodated her in everything and also offered us a limoncello.But, at the same time, I found the good quite off in terms of taste and didn’t enjoy my dinner at all.The atmosphere is super nice, although the place a bit limited in size. Recommended for an intimate date.

Truly excellent gluten-free pasta! Simply can’t recommend this restaurant enough for their selection of gluten free and dairy free appetizers, entrées, and desserts (drinks were wonderful as well). Additionally, the atmosphere was quaint, quiet and cute; a lovely little getaway from the busy city. We were celebrating a birthday and the waiter made the extra effort to make the night extra memorable. Overall a great and delicious experience!

My wife found this lovely restaurant on TIKTOK, and boy am I glad she did! If you get a chance try to be seated in the back of the restaurant. It will make you feel you are transported to a little restaurant in Italy.The service was amazing, nicely paced and everything came out hot and delicious!For appetizer we went with the Arancini they were so tasty! For the main course my wife got “tortellini in brodo” and I got the special, which was lamb chops cooked to perfection and creamy mashed potatoes. And lastly for dessert we went with the classic tiramisu. Drinks were nice and strong as well! This place definitely lives up to the hype! Will definitely will be recommending this restaurant to friends!

Some of the best italian food my girlfriend and i have had in the city! we ordered the fettuccine ai funghi and spaghetti alle vongole - both delicious and well balanced in flavor and portion. appetizers were the caprese special and focaccia, as well as anguria salad that we received my mistake (but given for free!) - all were very light and bright tasting. black currant sorbet for dessert was delicious as well!

True Italian food! Everything was well made and delicious. I will come back to have a lunch indoors.

Did lots of research on Italian restaurants before visiting New York and I’m so glad we booked a table at Palma. It’s some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. The food, wine, and service was all fantastic. We sat “outside” in the courtyard and it was lovely. It did get quite loud in there - a warning for those hard of hearing. But we loved that as part of the atmosphere. If I ever make it back, I would 100% be booking this restaurant.

Food was good. Place was nice. However, I was very disappointed because I reserved two weeks in advance for my 15-year anniversary. One day before, I get an email saying the table was in the street and on in their lovely outdoor garden. That was the whole point of booking the place. On top of that the tables in the garden can not be reserved. I felt baited. And I missed the opportunity to spend our anniversary dinner somewhere more special. Also, we got no special gestures related to our anniversary. Just a regular dinner on the streets of NYC.

Remember to reserve indoor and ask for garden seats. We were celebrating our third-month anniversary. The atmosphere is great and romantic. Surrounded by white roses. The waiter was very attentive and helpful. We could not determine which ice cream to choose for dessert and changed our mind at one time. Even though the raspberry one was already prepared, he offered us a free Oliver ice cream 🍨. Love this place! My partner and I came here for the first time and absolutely loved it. The service and food are incredible and the little backyard area is so sweet and romantic. My partner got gluten free pasta and I was SHOCKED at how amazing it was. The flavors were incredible. Such a wonderful experience and we’ll definitely be back.

Incredible service atmosphere and food. Pasta was cooked perfectly. I had the rigatoni amatriciana special - couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s a perfect spot to celebrate something or go for the holidays, definitely overpriced.

Oh my God, Palma is next level - I am totally obsessed with this place. Its located right on Cornelia Street in the West Village, which only adds to the charm of this spot!! The food is incredible + the cocktails are so delicious (their mezcal-based option is my favorite). Try their Arancini, Insulate dell Orto, and warm Focaccia to start. For primi, definitely sample their Ravioli Cacio e Pepe & Agnolotti agile Spinaci (everything is SO yummy). For dessert, spring for the gelato (the olive oil flavor is insanely good, as is their pistachio flavor). The cheesecake is light and isnt too sweet - its wonderful. Also of note, the staff here are so kind & accommodating and the vibes inside Palma are immaculate. Youre surrounded by fresh flowers everywhere you go!! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Wanted to have a romantic dinner for my wife’s birthday. We decided on the place based off the area and the good reviews. The place is small but very beautiful. It feels like you’re in a small town in Italy. At first they sat us at a small table and we asked if we could get a larger one since we felt a little squished. The manager was so kind and moved us immediately despite them being very busy. The manager of the restaurant is an absolute delight! She was very personable, kind and made our night so enjoyable. Our waitress was also very attentive and made sure we were enjoying everything. The food was delicious and fresh. We can’t wait to come back next time we are in town. Ciao!

We held our wedding and reception at Palma in October 2021, and it was fantastic.  The staff at Palma were extremely helpful in planning the event and masterful in executing it, including the incredible waitstaff. Chloeroses and Julias perspectives were so great to have.  We put our faith in their impeccable taste and were so happy with the result.  They very kindly helped create a custom menu for one of our guests, who had very specific dietary restrictions.The ceremony took place in the garden, which was filled with lovely flowers. We then had a cocktail hour on the terrace, followed by dinner in the carriage house. The decoration and ambience were wonderful throughout -- and the food and drinks were stellar.  We had a total of 20 people present, and everyone had a superb time. We cant speak highly enough about our experience, the venue, and the amazing people who helped bring it all to life.

Everything here is exceptional- the food, menu, decor, and service. Lots of little rooms all beautifully decorated, some nearly private dining spaces, a sommelier on staff, and the food! I wish I had four stomachs to be able to eat everything in the menu. One dish is better than the next!

Amazing food, and excellent service. Went there for a late lunch and it was a great choice. It is also very close to Taylor Swift’s old apartment where the song Cornelia Street is taking place. If you are in the area, I definitely would recommend.

This was one of the best dining experiences of my life. The food, the service, the atmosphere — everything was beautiful & I couldn’t stop smiling after we left! You MUST get the fried artichokes & meatballs for an appetizer and tiramisu for dessert!

Really delicious food in a beautiful setting! The portion size is a bit small, but overall the ambiance and food are great. Would recommend to eat outside if you can, it’s super romantic and serene. The wine list is also really good, and so were the dessert selections. Will definitely be back!

Visiting nyc and wanted to try a nice Italian spot. This place is so beautiful and cozy, great for a date night! Food was amazing and I believe their pasta is made fresh! Make sure you reserve in advance because seats get taken very quickly.

Step into Palma and you get carried away into a rustic, organic, gorgeous Italian garden! What an absolute delight to be here!The food is good, the coffee is brilliant, and the Tiramisu is mind-blowing!The service is excellent too.This is a perfect date spot or a quick rehab from your everyday crazy.

The waitrr took some time to warm up. I itially he was aloof and standoffish bit over time we won him over. Truth be told I would prefer not to have to work for proper hospitality. What the service lacked the food more than made up for.Drinks: nothing special bit they were good enough and did the trick.Bread Basket: this may look simple and not vet inspiring but it was the best foccacia ever. Soft and drenched with olive oil and sprinkled with salt we had to ask for a second helping.Ravioli Cacio Peppe: simply perfect and as an added surprise it is gluten free. Had not odea when eating it or ordering it. It was perfect as is and didnt need the gluten.Fried Artichokes: I always love this dish and here was no exception but for my tastes I would have preferred some more lemon and salt added to itEggplant Rolotini: nice balance and flavor with the perfect touch of basil flavorFiore di Lotte Affigato: vanilla ice cream with a shot of espresso poured on top. Ummmmm YUMMMMM!Tiramisu: definitely one of the better renditions of this. We always want it and each time we are very disappointed as chefs try make it special and ruin it. This version is just classic. I would have preferred another layer of ladyfingers however the lack of espresso flavor might have to do with competing with the espresso.

The whole experience is honestly mediocre. The food was nothing special for me. I feel like new york has so many italian restaurant that this one will fall in the category of unmemorable. We also had an issue with the sitting because we wanted to sit outside and even called in advance for it but when we arrived, they mentioned that apparently theres an event. They made up for it with a free dessert but I have to say the staff is also quite annoying because they keep asking how we are in the middle of our conversation.

Food was good, but nothing special. The staff were friendly and the outdoor courtyard setting area has a rustic charm to it.

Amazing italian food. You cant go wrong with homemade pasta. They eve had gluten free fettuccine for my wife. Tasted just as good as regular pasta. The appetizers were delicious as well. Roasted eggplant was a must. And the meatballs were very good. My bourbon cocktail was decent but nothing stellar. My wife enjoyed a refreshing le vie en rose cocktail. Ambience is nice and elegant in a rustic garden kind of feel. Not too noisy. All in all, highly recommend for a nice Italian evening dinner date.

We loved the garden seating, the fresh flowers in and old school NY pre war building. The restaurant is packed, warm and welcoming, full of locals on a Friday evening. Hosted our engagement party here with close family. Everything was perfect - the food was delicious, the service was attentive and flawless, the ambiance was sublime. We were seated on the private terrace and felt like we were transported to a tuscan villa! Francesca and the event planning team were super - the constant communication, attention to detail, and care, was above and beyond. I look forward to hosting future events and regular dining at Palma in the future! This place is criminally underrated compared to its overrated Italian restaurants in the West Village area! The best thing about this place is how fast the food comes out, but unfortunately was really disappointed by the steepness of the prices relative to the quality of the food. we got the fettucine with mushroom (32), the chicken milanese (38) and bolgnese (32). The food was ok, but you will probably be able to make better at home.

My expectations were well surpassed by this restaurant. I had the nicest dinner in NYC that night. The best pappardelle in the city, paired with slow-roasted lamb. The selection was varied despite the menus lack of grandeur. The food was delicious and tasted fresh.

The best Italian food we’ve had since Italy. The arancini is some of the best we’ve ever had. The pastas are homemade and fresh. The desserts are incredible. And of course the restaurant itself, will all the beautiful fresh flowers, and its garden are just breathtaking

I thought Palma was really beautiful inside. I loved the gnocchi pesto & the funghi pasta. However my whole experience was ruined by the fact that the plates we received were so dirty, as were the utensils. When we got new plates, they were just as dirty- if not worse! There were hairs on the plates, there was old food stuck on it, and dust. It was a really big turn off and made me not even want to eat.

Absolutely fantastic! The food here is extremely simple and amazingly fresh. The portions are fair and presentation is wonderful. I can’t stress how fresh the food is here.Lobster Spaghetti, Cacio e Pepe, and the Frito Misto is to die for! Will be coming back for sure.

Ate here in late autumn, and the food was amazing. Shared several starters and pastas, it was all very fresh and delicious. Service was prompt and attentive. The only seating available at the time was outside (which we accepted), however a bit of a bummer as they didn’t have enough heaters to have it warm, and personally I just don’t like being cold while I eat. Inside looked very cozy though!

Phenomenal! Between the delicious food and the impeccable service, Palma is a dream. I wish I could remember the name of our server last night because he was perfect! We shared the ny strip and the ravioli for dinner (I cannot rave enough about how well these dishes paired together) and the tiramisu for dessert. The Bee’s Knees cocktail lived up to its name so much that I had to order a second, despite the temptation to try La Vie en Rose. 10/10. So, so, SO good.

Some of the best GF pasta I’ve ever had in my life. Everything is home made and truly stunning. Their indoor open air garden is a dream and I’ll never come to the city without having a meal at Palma.

I’ve eaten in the front outside dining area twice and each experience was incredible. The drinks, the food, the ambiance, the staff .. each one is top notch. Nick, our waiter, was the absolute best!

Zero stars if I had the option. Absolutely terrible service . My poor girlfriend, who, mind you , took a bus and a train from New Jersey specifically for the gluten free food , and I waited 2 full hours to get seated without success . The servers had even sat people who were behind us in the waiting list . Never again. Our time was ruined .

The only complaint is my favorite dish, the special cauliflower, was not available any more.The vibe is extremely romantic. With flowers all over, it’s a nice place to celebrate birthdays and anniversary.Tips: book a early appointment for the yard seat. If not, the indoor tables are nice too.

Hands down my favorite Italian in the WV. The attention to details, freshness of the ingredients, and waitstaff are unmatched. Add in the the perfect amount of Italian feel inside and it’s just perfect.

Palma is a cute (nice décor) little restaurant. I like the chipped plates they use, it really adds a charm. I’ve been there a couple times already and I have to say the food is spot on. The first times I went it was rather calm but the last time around it was so loud my friend and I almost had to scream to hear each other.

A lot to break down here, but all good things. 1. Atmosphere: quaint and quiet, I didn’t know they had a back patio that was more lively and think I’d ask to sit back there next time, but overall cannot complain about vibes. Such pretty flowers in funky vases everywhere which I love. Service: outstanding, perfectly attentive but also didn’t bother or rush us. Food: the CAULIFLOWER………. should have ordered two orders, next time I will be because it is that good. Focaccia is sooo good and warm and fluffy, can’t go wrong. I got the truffle pasta which was great, homemade noodles, solid but simple dish. Tiramisu was everything a tiramisu should be. Cannot wait to go back again.

What an amazing evening. We went to Palma to celebrate my oldest daughters move from NYC to Denver. You could feel the love in the restaurant and within the meal. We started with a wonderful salad, arancini, and focaccia. Luckily it was an appropriate portion - if not, I could have devoured the whole load. I went for a classic spritz and the linguine special with pistachios.It wonderful. I left satisfied. Not too full like you get from some places. It was just the right amount with wholesome ingredients. It was real and full of love.Plus for all the Taylor fans out there, its right across the street from what Ive told.Will def go back.The only suggest I would give is that I thought the sommelier latched to the guy at the table, me, and totally ignored my wife and my wife knows more about wine than I do. It was a missed opportunity on his part.

We booked the restaurant to have a small wedding ceremony and then served our guests with the most delicious Italian fare. We still have friends talk about what a great meal they had at our wedding even though we served an all vegetarian fare! Bellissimo!

Delightful lunch at Palma! The ambience was very cosy and being surrounded by beautiful flowers make us happy. Food was great and the service was really good, which made our ladies gathering so enjoyable. The tiramisu, tortellini in chicken broth and fritto misto were my favourites. Portions were appropriate. 2 appetisers. 3 pastas and 3 desserts are enough for 4 asian females’ stomachs. Menu also suitable for vegetarians.

The ambience was great. The food was amazing we had the meatballs, the prosciutto and figs, the spinach ravioli and the tortellini in brodo - everything was delicious. We also had the tiramisu which I must say I am not typically as fan of this cake but I loved it at this place.ALL OF THAT SAID, and I doubt I will go back. The service was not great. The waiter didnt know anything about wine, the busboys were rushing us, the waiter was rushing us to move us from the starter to the main to the point that the manager came and he picked up the plate without asking. Flavor great but to what cost? If you have the decency to charge 30+ for 5 ravioli then let the customer take their time to enjoy it.

Such a gorgeous space, big portions of delicious food, decently priced, quick + friendly service! The street eatery was a little bit cold, maybe offer blankets! Lobster spaghetti is out of this world.

From the first bite to the last it was the best Italian food Ive ever eaten in my life. Ive eaten at John besh restaurants, Emeril lagasse restaurants, and the best Italian food Louisiana has to offer.You can taste everything in the dishes. The calamari tasted like the first thing fried in fresh oil in a brand new fryer.The fried risotto Ive had in Louisiana. It was unlike anything at palmas. Palmas were dusted with such a delicious Parm and parsley. The red sauce came through and made its own taste statement. We were moaning and wowing through our entire appetizer experience.The Bolognese was flavorful, salted correctly, and the pasta was perfection.Lastly had the tiramisu for desert and it was smooth cold light and subtle with all the dark flavors.We felt at home under the courtyard lights. The staff was great, the atmosphere was beautiful. Palma has done such a wonderful job with the roses and we couldnt have been happier to dine here for our last night in NYC. The only sad part of the night was our last bite. Thank you from Phillip in Louisiana. ❤️

Really nice place for a good meal and night out. Went there with my significant other and we had requested the indoor garden seating but they told us they couldnt guarantee - when we got there they were unfortunately unable to accommodate us initially so we sat in regular indoor seating, but within maybe 3-5 mins of sitting down a hostess came over and said a table had opened up in the indoor garden and we could move to if we wanted - which we did. The indoor garden is really nice - a tiny bit noisy, but that didnt prevent us from enjoying it. Food was delicious and service was superb. Definitely recommend! And on our way out we forgot our leftovers and they chased after us on the street to give them to us! :)

We constantly find ourselves at Palma for their fun cocktails and pretty vibes. Also it’s a great pre dinner spot to go to pre comedy cellar. While there are better Italian pasta food spots in the city but Palma has the whole package.

Everything at Palm was devine. Very bright, fresh and homemade. Highly recommend the pastas, obviously.

Beautiful flowers everywhere you look with equally delicious food

Went here for a date night, and thought it was awesome. We unfortunately didn’t get seats in their garden, which should be noted as an indoor seat for those wondering, but sitting outside was still extremely pleasant. Even though the area is very busy, the foot traffic never interrupted the meal. The meatballs were good and the sauce was flavorful, the fritto misto was super fresh and tasty, the fettuccine was good, but the real MVP was the Trofie Al Pesto. This was by far our favorite dish. Rich and bursting with flavor. Next time I go, I’m getting an inside seat to sit in that garden. Check this place out!

We’ve been coming here for 10 years and we always love it! The food is delicious, the service is fantastic and they were so accommodating of us having our baby and stroller. The ambiance both inside and in the back garden are beautiful. We will continue coming here!

The food left much to be desired. After having incredible Italian in Vancouver, and being recommended Palma, my girl squad and I decided to try it. There was no dish I would order again. Nothing was particularly yummy. And given we are all dessert girlies, we found it difficult to finish the three we selected: tiramisu, cheesecake, and a chocolate pear tart (special). None were good, but if I had to choose which was best, it was probably the cheesecake. It couldve been the tiramisu but the cream was overwhelming, making the ratio not so great. Price was okay. Value was eh.

I’ve tried most of the menu and everything is very flavorful and cooked to perfection. I‘be eaten the arancini, fritto misto, prosciutto e melone, fettuccine ai funghi, ravioli cacio e pepe, tagliata di manzo. For dessert I had the affogato. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh and well seasoned. I have no complaints.The lighting is pretty dim in the evening so this restaurant is perfect for a romantic date night but I’ve also dined here by myself too. I absolutely love it here.

Really good pasta!! However, our waitress did not pay us much mind and was bordering on rude with her careless treatment of us. We did not feel special or wanted, and therefore did not stay for dessert. I do have to say that the other service staff were beyond incredible- two gentlemen always stood at hand and were very attentive, I wish they had been our waiter. The prosciutto appetizer was not our favorite, but pasta was some of the best Ive had.

We were in NYC for the weekend celebrating a special milestone for our daughter. Our server and the general manager were so kind and treated our family to dessert to mark the occasion. The ambiance at Palma was perfect for a celebration, it is so beautifully decorated and the food was delicious!

Such a cute place. Our waiter was super friendly and fun, he definitely made our experience so much better. Drinks were really good and the food delicious. I forgot the name of the drink we ordered (it had vodka, champagne, pomegranate) best drink Ive had in a long time. The pasta was fresh super tasty.

Everything about Palma is superb. The food is a testament to keeping things simple, fresh and delicious. The service is impeccable. The ambiance is straight out of a little Tuscan village restaurant. But it’s on Cornelia Street in the West Village just off the 1. Bravo Palma.

What a great dinning experience. We sat outside under the patio and loved it. More than enough heat lamps and was fun people watching too. The food was fantastic and I didnt even know most of it was gluten free! Will definitely be a repeat visit on our next trip to NYC.

Bad experience. No one came to my table for 15 minutes. I went to the service bar myself and ordered a glass of wine. I heard the chef screaming and cursing at waiters. Other diners heard it as well. Real classy.Meatball appetizer was HORRIBLE. Shaped like little hockey pucks, and just as hard. Tough, dry, chewy. Manager wanted to remake it. I politely said I’m sure the whole batch was similar, as a prep cook may have just made a bad batch. She fired another anyway , and it was just as bad as the first. I said rather than make a fuss, I’ll skip the app and await my main dish. She talked me into trying a different app.As I was awaiting this, I heard the same crazy chef yelling and cursing about “this customer not knowing what he was talking about”. He was referring to me. I’ve never experienced something as unprofessional as this. I informed them to cancel my main dish , as I was leaving.For the 1-star I’m forced to give, the waiter was nice once he arrived, and the manager seemed genuinely apologetic. Seems as though she and the whole staff are afraid of this chef and his tantrums. Some of these great reviews must be loaded. I will not return.

Very pretty atmosphere but aside from that this place does not have much to offer. First we were given bottled water (which cost extra) although I had specified tap water was fine. Our waitress was okay, helpful but had a slight attitude. The older man helping her was VERY forgetful. I asked for salt and pepper, which he got, but offered to every other table before ours because he could not remember who asked. The risotto balls as an appetizer was very good but the entrees were not at all! Firstly, there were not many options on the menu and even less vegetarian options. I got the raviolis in a butter sauce w pepper. There was SO MUCH pepper I couldn’t even enjoy. My boyfriend got breaded chicken which also was only okay. Overall, they could really improve. Bathrooms are VERY dirty and dimly lit.

Atmosphere and service made the place. Food is nothing to write home about. Had the spaghetti w/lobster and tortellini and brodo. Same as everywhere else they serve that.

Perfect spot for brunch. Fantastic atmosphere and food. When you come here, which you must, you should ask for a table in the garden. The garden area is covered in the winter with glass and is a wonderful sunny area that is lively with many roses to see. I loved my salmon sandwich which came with a small salad. The smoked salmon is very fresh and there was a good amount on the sandwich. The Bloody Mary was also very good. The staff is fast and efficient. The food is all very high quality. The coffee is brewed nicely. Everything was perfect.

The ambiance here is unparalleled. Its the perfect date spot, celebration spot, or a treat yourself evening. There are stunning fresh roses everywhere - and I mean everywhere. Its like dining in a secret rose garden. The food is insanely delicious. Ive had some of my favorite meals ever here. The pasta is so fresh, the risotto balls are ridiculously yummy and the fried artichokes are superb. You can always count on this place to charm you with an evening of great food and romantic vibes.

The food and the service were great! However, I wouldnt recommend this place unless you are comfortable sitting with strangers. The tables are less than 6 inches apart from other diners in some areas of the restaurant. They had plenty of open tables and still chose to sit people immediately next to us.So, just dont expect any privacy.

The Palma experience was the first time in a very long time I felt teleported back to Italy. The ambience was as charming as the service. Enrico (who is proudly Sicilian) was genuinely engaging and gave us excellent wine recommendations. As a vegetarian I was so happy there were enough options. The Arrancini is delicious!

I went for a wedding brunch reception. The separate outside seating area was very cute and most of the food was scrumptious. I wish the breaded chicken during the last course came with a sauce or something but outside of that, no complaints.

Palma was a very cozy and romantic spot in the west village. Perfect for a celebration, birthday, or date night. The calamari and eggplant apps were incredibly done, the pastas were great too, with a lot of gluten free and vegetarian options! We loved the light and airy tiramisu as well. They have a front terrace, a garden and private back rooms as well as a smaller indoor area. I highly recommend trying this spot for a homey dinner with really sweet and attentive staff

One of my favorite restaurants in New York! I live across the road and go here all the time. It is such a stunning restaurant with delicious food, great service and a calm relaxed vibe. This is also a great place for private intimate dinners. My husband and I had our wedding dinner in the dining room up at the back. They decorated the room with beautiful flowers and lots of candles. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer setting for our wedding dinner. We had a pre-selected dinner menu that was all delicious. Highly recommended!

This restaurant totally exceeded my expectations. It was the best meal I have had in NYC in a VERY long time. The design is stunning, we ate In the garden dining room and there were walls of live roses, candles and a glass ceiling. Truly beautiful. I also loved that they had a sommelier on staff to assist in choosing wine. Cannot wait to go back!

Beautiful restaurant with an incredible covered back courtyard. Friendly waitstaff but they seemed very stressed and had to get their attention more than twice for service. Food was very pretty but flavor was lacking. Ordered the calamari and it was very ordinary and under seasoned. Same with the ravioli cacio e pepe which was way undercooked that the pasta felt hard to chew and the funghi pasta was also lacking in flavor and very one dimensional in taste. For the high price, I would expect excellent food. I would not go again or recommend it to my friends. I guess people are paying for the ambience

Came here for my 1 year and it was amazing. My fiancé & I were really late, however Palma was so accommodating. The food on a 1-10, is an easy 11. Fresh, clean, and just feels homemade -delicious food made with love. Thank you so much for a unforgettable anniversary, and the phenomenal food duh!!

Cutest backyard garden in the city! The food was great, they let you take your time ordering and drinking so you dont feel rushed at all.This is a great date place or small group of girlfriends. The wine selection is also fantastic for a mid-price wine. Its also a great place to bring your gluten-free friends. Make sure if they are celiac and not just gluten-free to let them know and theyll be extra sensitive with the food.

Woman outside was so rude after our party spent over $5,000. The service was great and we loved our waiters but left on a sour note due to this woman that worked there and was extremely rude on our way out.

There are better places than this at the same price point. service was slow, which it was busy, I get it, but it took forever to get seated and we didnt even get drink til sitting for 10 minutes. They dont serve the focaccia with olive oil or salt. The pasta is good but portions are tiny for the price point. Yeah not bad but cannot recommend as a go-to Italian place.

This place is super cute, especially the back area and all the little rooms - however, I found the food to be just ok. We had a few different pastas and I didn’t love my cacio e Pepe ravioli- the pepper was overpowering and bitter.

I would not recommend this place to anyone just because of the terrible service. My husband and I just ate here and were completely ignored by the staff. The excuse was they were getting ready for a wedding in their back room, which would be completely understandable if we did not watch the staff talk in the corner of the kitchen and take photos of drinks for Instagram. We wanted to order another round of drinks and nobody came. The only person who came asked us if we wanted the check. We always tip over 20% and this is the first time in awhile that we did not. We have been to countless places around the city with better ambiance, service, and food.

Superb Italian food, with a fine wine list to accompany it. With few, if any, accommodations to local customs (thats a Good Thing), we had a very tasty meal. Decor isnt the strong point, but the food is distracting enough. Served on simple white-glazed pottery plates, with some great bread. Good value, too: about $210 for 3, including a nice bottle of wine.

The homemade gluten free pasta was amazing, the gluten free meatballs were fantastic, and the GF ricotta cheesecake was incredible. The restaurant is beautiful inside and I highly recommend the indoor garden seating. My wife and I will make this a regular stop when we are in the city.

Beautiful back yard outdoor seating with quiet and cozy ambience, the closest thing to indoor dining you can find right now. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. Delicious food, especially enjoyed the crispy artichoke and the burrata.

So Jiorianna, our server, was just about perfect. They kept us well fed and attended to without feeling at all rushed, which is the perfect balance for us.I would say this was the best date I’ve ever had, and my girlfriend and I have been dating for almost a year and a half! The whole place, from the food to the atmosphere to the service. Can’t wait to return.

Great food and amazing ambience! You would never think that the restaurant was this large as the entrance looks tiny but this place keeps going and going. Awesome outdoor-style area in the back. Each dish was properly done and the service was top notch. Only issue we had was that the bar wasn’t open for lunch so we were not able to order cocktails.

A very lively restaurant with great Italian cuisine. I enjoyed the housemade pasta and excellent marinara sauce. Caramelized fennel for a side was equally delicious. The wine list is solid with many affordable bottles available. Reservations are necessary.

Beautiful West Village restaurant with decent Italian fare. Hostess was cold and unwelcoming, the seating plan is odd (we were given a table that would have made us bump our backs on the backs of the diners seated at the tables in which we were sandwiched but we were thankfully moved to a bigger table with no neighbors) and the tables are too small.

Beautiful restaurant. Very cute. Great pasta. Everything felt authentic Italian. Service was respectful and yet blunt -- felt authentic. Dessert was ok. Wish I could give 4.5 stars.

Lovely service and great seating area. At the time of this review was the peak of COVID19 concerns and there were wood structures with plexiglass dividers between each table so I felt totally safe in that regard. Cornelia st. has a wonderful, quiet neighborhood feel. The fruit was fresh and the olive-oil bread was amazing! The service was very friendly, we never had to ask for water refills. Some of the best Italian food Ive had in New York. You cant go wrong with ordering any of their pasta dishes. We also got the tiramisu, baked Alaska, and flourless chocolate cake for dessert and they were all delicious. Great service too.

I love this place!!!! Went yesterday for my birthday dinner and as soon as i walked in i felt like i was transported to Italy it was like the Narnia closet lol! Customer service was phenomenal my waiter (tall dark hair guy) didn’t catch his name was so attentive and pleasant. I dropped my knife and here he comes right away within the seconds picking it up and giving me a new one! Love love love this gem! I will be back with the girls and my mom. Hidden alittle inside the block. Not very easy to see from far. No parking, but on the Sunday you can park around the area. Very special seasonal decorations! Go to the back! Very creative use of space. Set you in a very relaxed mood. Nice and attentive staff. Our waiter was in fact from Italy. Food was a bit on expansive side, but well worth the money. We tried the lamb dish. Very nice for cold weather! You HAVE to try desserts!!! Enjoy!!!

The atmosphere and the service were excellent. We just didn’t think that the food met our expectations for a quality Italian restaurant. The salad was fine but the main courses were less than satisfying. The pasta with mushrooms and truffles was well prepared but lacked any wow (or truffle). The zuppa di pesce looks very impressive when it’s served but I didn’t find it very enjoyable. My biggest complaint is that the seafood was all overcooked. I probably should have sent it back but we were having dinner with someone else and it had already taken a while to get our main courses.I won’t be returning.

My boyfriend made reservations for Palma for a late birthday celebration. THE BEST Italian food weve ever had in our lives, still to this day as well. We dream about Palma still haha. Visiting from Alabama, we came here for my husband’s birthday dinner with our family and our 8 month old baby. Service was excellent and everyone was so helpful and accommodating. The food was incredible—definitely our favorite dinner place in the city now. Not only that but the atmosphere was romantic and eclectic. What a hidden gem. Can’t wait to return!

The food is delicious, five star but the service is worst. My sister visited me for other state and I booked the table for my sister birthday, we havent seen each other for years and Im really looking forward for this dinner. We arrived 25 mins earlier than our reservation, they have a back yard and also table outside. The host didnt ask me where we would like to sit and seated us outside. Then I saw there were empty tables at the back yard, I asked politely if we can change to back yard. Then she told me, if we seat down then can not switch table due to COVID policy, I asked but I saw empty tables on the back yard, she said it is for reservation coming in and there was no table when we arrived. So the empty tables I saw were not exist? Excuse me, I made reservation as well and arrived 25 mins earlier. She even told me I could not pick back yard or side with cold attitude. Okay, if it is policy, I am okay. But she asked every groups after us if they want to seat back yard or outside, is this double standard or because we wear causal than other groups. The waiter never paid attention on our table, didn’t ask if we want water once or how is the food. I never have such bad dine in experience ever, I will recommend take out but not dine in.

I did my bridesmaid proposal here and it was honestly perfect!! I called about a month in advance to book seating for seven of us. They said they couldnt sit us in the courtyard garden because it would be too tight for a large group and I was disappointed because I thought that part was the cutest! But it all worked out in the end because they set us up in this back room that was so cozy and warm with fresh florals. All of my girls loved it! There were lots of food options for everyone and the portions were large so we were able to share. I never went to palma before this day so I was really nervous because I picked it based off pictures but it was even more beautiful in person. An overall great experience and Im so glad I found this place!!

One of my favorites, hands down. Warm and in inviting. A part of the community, untarnished by a over commercialized industry. Always decorated with beautiful roses accompanied by experienced servers. Food is consistently great and I mean consistently.

Beautiful environment with fresh flowers decorating the outdoor seating and the garden that is a true gem! You can see that the owners put a lot of effort into every single detail. Every dish that we tried on the menu was excellent: carcioffi fritti, mozzarella with peas and favs beans, GF pasta with mushrooms and truffles, and tonno confit. Will definitely go back to explore other things!

What an absolutely magical experience. We had our elopement wedding reception here and I could not have imagined hosting such an event anywhere else. The space was filled with warmth and love. You can feel love in the air knowing the owners beautiful story. The ambiance was specular every detail just flawless . Our server was fantastic, professional, and attentive. Wow! Impeccable meal from start to finish. Appetizer of fried baby artichokes (salted with parmasean and parsley) was one of the best things Ive ever had. Papardelle with lamb, olives, and rosemary was outstanding. Tiramisu was light and airy. Small, but well priced and chosen Italian wine list. Didnt try the cocktails, but they looked tempting. We sat in the warm and inviting front dining room which was packed, but you could still easily have a conversation. Service was attentive. Palma is at the top of my list for a return visit.

Service very poor, be warned.Ambiance was great, food was 9/10 - had the strip steak & truffle pasta, as well as a plated bufala. For dessert - tiramisu and affogato. From the moment we were seated I could tell something was amiss. Our table was jammed right next to another one in the corner, with a Plexiglas separating them, but despite all the staff running around us, we didnt get much attention.The servers didnt really understand anything we said - switching our drinks when I expressly said the mezcal one was my boyfriends - and dribbling some of my drink over the edge of the glass upon delivery.The main waiters barely came over to check up on us or take our order. Even when we were trying to pay the bill, it took at least 15 minutes before we could ask someone for it, another 15 until they brought it, and then as we were about to get up to leave, a busboy brought us a new bottle of water??? Chaos.Also when the server WAS taking our order, mid sentence he began staring over his shoulder at another tables customers?? It was quite rude and we had to wait 20-30 seconds until his attention returned to us, whilst we were in the middle of speaking to him.The menu was also very small; I would expect a bigger selection of food. The alcohol menu was way bigger than the food/cocktail menu - there are only 3 cocktails to choose from, disappointingly.Wont be returning; save your money and go elsewhere if you want attentive prompt service.I used the bathroom on my way out and it was a mess - trash overflowing with paper onto the floor. Not a classy establishment.

The Bermuda Tourism Authority used the garden room at Palma to host a Bermuda-inspired lunch for journalists and group travel planners. The food was excellent, the setting was unbelievable, and the service was attentive. We would definitely recommend for a private dining event.

Really delicious pasta, so fresh and the ingredients went together superbly. The courgette flower wasnt great (fried and soggy) but asside from that the experience was enjoyable!

What a perfect experience. We sat in the back back room that used to be their bar and holds a few tables. Our waiter was incredible. The food was delicious, especially the ravioli, the orechiette, the agnolotti, the branzino. The rustic and authentic decor really is the icing on the cake and we got a tour of the town house abutting the restaurant where the owner once lived which now houses two private dining areas. Wow all around.

Our granddaughter was married here.The place is absolutely beautiful! The staff was very attentive and kind.Magnifico!

The prosciutto and goat cheese omelette is quite good. The quinoa croquettes are excellent as well, if a bit of a smaller portion, despite being listed as an entrée. The bread and olive oil to start are tasty and fresh, and the staff the right amount of attentive.

Perfect for date night, lobster spaghetti & bolognese were delicious. Great ambiance👌🏾
