Amazing plant-based restaurant. We had lunch, ordering the 3 half bowls (Tibetan Mama, Botanical Salad, Miso Magic) and a veg sushi between 2 people. Portions were great. Super healthy, lots of different flavours. Spacious and airy dining area. A little pricier than your average lunch, but worth the money.

5! Absolutely loved this spot. Many delicious vegan options inspired by dishes from around the globe. Very fresh ingredients and a wonderful mix of warm and cold plates. They were super accommodating for allergies and had a list with common allergens so could easily tell me what was soy free. Don’t sleep on the brownie - it was amazing. There are also a number of options for warm and cold beverages! The space is airy, clean and bright. If there is a line, it moves quickly and the staff are helpful and happy to make substitutions.

Had the most wonderful lunch here. This was one of the new bowls of the season and it’s so good. Filling, flavorful, and gives you all the warm and fuzzy on a cold day.The service was really what made the experience. I think she was the manager, but didn’t get her name, she was so attentive and proactive in helping me figure out what I might want for the meal! If it wasn’t for her kindness during a busy weekday lunch, I probably would have left!I love that there’s an option like this, clean and healthy, and QUICK!

Okay, you could say I’m obsessed with this place. But hear me out, I get the same thing all the time every time because it’s delicious and I don’t want to eat anything else hahaha. I have been here so much and order online on the Toast app to pick it up. They are so sweet here, they recognize me every time I come here to pick up my food. If you want absolutely delicious food you don’t have to be guilty about eating then here is your place. They are so welcoming and make sure that you are completely taken care of. They have this back area that looks so nice too at this location. Go here and get the pasta bolo and thank me later. I add tofu to spice it up lol but you get whatever you want. They have this omega 3 brownie that is healthy yummy version of a brownie with this cashew cream that go on top. Eating that brownie with the cream after warming it up in the microwave feels like self care. So yeah, try it out one day, tell them Micah sent you! 🤪

A Soothing Ode to Nature and NourishmentNestled in the heart of the city, Le Botaniste is more than just a restaurant; its a sanctuary. From the moment one steps in, the warm embrace of its botanical-inspired aesthetics whispers a welcome that extends beyond mere visuals. The interiors, draped in calming hues of greens and earth tones, are an artistic homage to nature. Everywhere you look, there are thoughtful details: from potted plants that sway gently to the soft murmurs of conversations, to art pieces that celebrate the verdant wonders of our world. But what truly makes Le Botaniste a gem is its amazing staff. Theyre not just serving food; they’re curating experiences. Theres a certain artistry and grace with which they move, be it in recommending a dish, explaining its ingredients, or simply engaging in a warm conversation. Their dedication to making every guest feel cherished and at home is palpable. As for the food, its a delectable journey that celebrates fresh produce and innovative culinary techniques. But dining here is not just about the taste. With every bite, theres a realization of how seamlessly the essence of the dishes complements the restaurants overall ambiance. Its a symphony of flavors that not only tantalizes the palate but also soothes the soul. In a world that often feels rushed and loud, Le Botaniste stands as a testament to the beauty of slowing down, of cherishing the moment, and of recognizing the profound connection between nature, nourishment, and the soul. If youre seeking a dining experience that transcends the ordinary, this is the place to be.

If you want better energy go to the Soho Location. Better vibes there and the food is better. It’s always some type of cold treatment in this location. Management is not welcoming. I once got mocked by a skinny lightskin manager for asking about the temperature of the food I paid for. If you don’t want to be somewhere then you should leave and work elsewhere. Very unprofessional and low vibration. Again if you want greater service, the Soho location have been the best overall. I go to this place for convenience when I don’t have much time. I would never bring a friend there until the management is better. On a positive note, the aesthetics are nice that’s the best you can get there.

We absolutely adored Le Botaniste! During our brief stay in New York City, we dined there twice, such was its allure. Every dish is meticulously crafted, entirely plant-based and unbelievably delicious. Had our trip been longer, Le Botaniste would undoubtedly have become our daily indulgence. From the flavorful Saag Bota to the divine desserts, every bite was an exquisite experience. The omega-3 brownie, raspberry raw cake, and chocolate pecan cookie defied expectations -- these were some of the finest gluten-free desserts we’ve ever savored. As someone who rarely indulges in desserts due to their often bland and overly sweeten nature, Le Botaniste truly surprised me. These creations were a delightful exception. In a single word: Le Botaniste is AMAZING!

He offered me recommendations and he was right about that raw chocolate desert! It was heavenly and just the right size. The food here is so nourishing and healthy. I had the build-your-own bowl with rice and Bolognese. It was so so delicious!! Everything is plant based. The food is both delicious and healthy. Plus their juices are really great. The bottle is a good size (not too large) and the ingredients are healthy and not overly sweet. They have good quality ingredients. I could literally eat here every day! Additionally the atmosphere is so cute, and I love their eclectic plates. It feels like a homey, delicious cafe. I recommend going to the Bryant Park location, ask Wanderson for his recommendations! Lots of open seating for you to choose after you order your meal at the counter. They have a variety of plant-based options including seasonal menu items. I went with their Summer Noodle Salad which were wheat noodles over a bed of greens with avocado, peas, mushrooms, and other veggies topped with a ginger peanut sauce. BS +After watching a broadway play. I wanted to try something new. We rushed from 44th and 8th to 42nd and 6th to visit La botaniste. its one of those raw/cooked vegan spots in the city catering for any vegetarian/vegan and to be honest flexatarian who are plant based curious. The menu is very diverse but lacks a little bit of love and flavor. We ordered 4 dishes and they were nothing to rave about. The flavor fell flat compared to some vegan spots we usually go to like PS Kitchen. The sushi though was nice and clean. But I think next time I will come back to try the chilli. The bowls are just the right amount of size for the price considering we were by theater district.I took photos of what we ordered. Also, my wife ordered the combo with the glass of wine and for $24 I think its a bit of a rip off. The wine was natural but tasted cheap. Also, we had to hunt down someone to get us water. The person behind the counter was nice and very friendly as well as the person who checked us out.The location is small. Seat yourself. Order up front. The seating are cute and very small as well. But its a nice designed restaurant. Back area was closed so when we came in we had to wait a bit for a table. Otherwise, not too bad.But this is the part I have to call out and what made this experience bad. The restroom had a lock mechanism. But yet the inside looked like it was from a sports venue. The floor was covered in pissed. The toilet seat had feces. The garbage was overflowing. So loss my appetite after using it.Overall you would like this place if youre in a rush and like raw vegan meals. I am not too fond of salads so I am a bit bias. However, the flavor is a bit off. Too much turmeric in my opinion. Try them out but just buy food you might want. Since its not all hot food.Highly recommended! Visit and tell them Mick (ig: The_freakin_vegan) sent you! You will not be disappointedTrust me - Im a vegan 😉 🥕Boomsauce Scale:BW - basura (trash)BS - basic (come on! Try harder)BS + - better (Yo! Thats better)BS ++ - best (alright! Alright! However, this dish was delicious and so filling!I had about an hour and a half waiting for a charter bus out of the city, and the back seating area was perfectly peaceful to get a little bit of work done.I left in a rush and left my sun hat at my seat. OMG OMG…FINALLY!! A real plant base establishment not cutting corners or providing (adjacent or semi plant base ingredients/food options). This place is hands down Top Tier!! The decor is lovely, the staff is lovely & they even have a back room/event space that seems to be empty every time I visit(which is a plus in crazy/busy NY)The only con though there’s no cell reception. Which sucks for those like me who need to work & eat on the go. Besides that lovely private section, they have two clean & nice smelling restrooms(I avoid public restrooms at all costs, so I’m elated they keep theirs clean). And now for the food, it would be disingenuous for me not to mention this place isn’t cheap. Over the years I’ve learned that eating healthy, healthy can & will cost. And that’s how I’m measuring the authenticity of the ingredients & actual dishes offered(It’s the REAL DEAL)Also it’s not everyday you walk into an establishment & there are big pots brewing with savory goodness right in front of your eyes & the cook is simultaneously stirring said goodness while also checking the foods precise temperature to insure a balance of not under or overcooking the food. Plus you can’t go wrong with a place that offers free water & samplings of their food. I experienced coconut ceviche for the first time, I’ve never even heard of it, it was so delicious. The food in two words, is Supremely Superb. I could go on & on, but I’ll end with “this is my new SPOT” & it should be yours too!

This place is one of my favorite plant-based restaurants. The aesthetic of the restaurant upon entering feels very open and there are bottles of water for self service at tables for you to sit at. Despite there being an assembly counter of items, the food itself doesnt feel quite like the usual fast food. It feels more thoughtful and has a homey flavor. They have many options for different bowls, and if you eat in, they are served in pretty porcelain ones. I highly recommend the Pasta Bolo, as it has a great bolognese of vegetables over good pasta. The pasta itself has an interesting texture and is not too soggy or hard. They also have a smashed potato dish out right now, but I was a bit disappointed to see that it was not a fried potato, as that would lend some texture to the dish that otherwise lacks it.Their appetizers, like the sushi, are good, but I will say their desserts were more of a let down. The chocolate brownie needed more of the sauce to make it less dry, and the quinoa cookie was very dense.Still, despite the desserts, Le Botaniste remains a good place to check out to expand your horizons if you havent had much plant-based food.

The food here is pretty good and I appreciate that it’s plant-based and healthy. My issue is the pricing. Plant-based food is inherently less expensive than meat and shouldn’t be upcharged. I felt pretty nickel-and-dimed when I asked for a different ratio of sauce to vegetables, and the server willingly put less sauce on without lowering the price, but was going to upcharge me for “extra” vegetables. That’s not the expected level of service for a $17 meal. Regardless, I appreciate that they are making healthy vegan food more widespread.

What a great find ! Flavourful, reasonably priced, clean, healthy plant-based food in a beautiful restaurant across from Bryant Park.We had the Tibetan coconut curry, the chili sin carne and veg sushi rolls with iced tea. Will definitely return !UPDATE 6months later. Been back maybe 10 times, have tried many dishes and never been anything but super happy with the food, service & atmosphere. By far my fave plant-based resto in the area, maybe all of Manhattan. Love love love. Haha look at our empty bowls - always the case.

This place is a good option for vegetarians but it felt a lot like frozen food to us. It is the place with low quality food for a higher price selling under the name “organic”.However, great atmosphere and good service.

I ordered the young coconut salad, which arrived warm and sour. Both servings were inedible. Additionally, the soup of the day, which was supposed to come with my half bowl of my choice was missing. The Moroccan stew I ordered barely contained any vegetables, and the few carrots present were undercooked. The quinoa tagine base was minuscule and overwhelmingly topped with a bunch of leaves, providing almost no substantial food. For a total of $60, I received nothing but disappointment and a still hungry stomach

I got the carne bowl. The serving size was really good - walked away with half the bowl to-go. The flavor could have been a bit more meaty or perhaps the (coconut) sour cream diluted the meat flavor a bit.The service was amazing! I don’t know if I’ve come across such good service at a casual dining restaurant recently. All servers were super nice, cheery, and helpful. Will come back to try the dessert next time!

We stumbled onto this place as we were researching places to eat at near Times Square. Such a lovely gem! While the food was vegan (we are a group of 2 vegetarians and 2 meat eaters) we absolutely loved the food and found it very flavourful.More than the food the service by senior server Andy (Anderson) was exemplary. He was super friendly, caring and gave us some amazing free tasters on the house. Our experience of the place was massively enhanced because of Andy.5 stars to Le Botaniste. 25 stars to Andy!

Everything here is gluten free and I can say I feel great after eating here. The team is so nice and very passionate about the food. I’ve been working my way through the menu and it’s all great. The wine selection is excellent as well. 10/10

Manager asked server to take food out of my bowl while it was being prepared. I asked manager why I was now getting less food, and her answer was that the server was over portioning. I go here almost every day for lunch, and if anything, they are consistently under portioning. Dont order a Magic Miso Bowl if youre hungry or want value for money.

I ordered for delivery saag bota. It was supposed to come with spinach and mint dressing. It came with neither. I ordered 2 red beet detox drinks & only got 1 even though I was charged for 2. I ordered an extra dressing for my sushi starters which wasnt delivered either. I am so disappointed in this restaurant s shoddy handling of my order. I am not confident in ever calling in an order again. I can forgive 1 mistake but not this many.

On December 30th around 2/2:30 PM, I visited Le Botaniste after a long day. Despite needing to use the restroom, I waited until after my meal due to both the long line and my desire to keep my belongings secure while dining alone. While patiently waiting, I witnessed a disturbing pattern: several non-customers, notably white women, were granted access to the restroom without making a purchase. This blatant disregard for the customers only policy was deeply unsettling. Finally, after finishing my meal, I approached the restroom line. I was then singled out by a Hispanic employee with large framed glasses and a scarf, who rudely declared that the restroom was for paying customers only. Despite explaining that I had just dined there, she arrogantly dismissed me, demanding to see where I had been seated and threatening to involve her manager. The audacity of this employee was staggering. Not only did she discriminate against me based on my race, but she also demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and empathy. Witnessing her grant access to non-customers while denying me, a paying customer, was a blatant act of prejudice. Her subsequent behavior, including a dismissive shrug and a condescending have a lovely new year while yelling at me, was utterly unacceptable. This incident has left me deeply offended and I will not be returning to Le Botaniste. I urge management to take swift and appropriate action against this employee to prevent future instances of discrimination and ensure a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all customers.

I dont have dietary restrictions, but I came here with a group of people who did (dairy allergy, diagnosed celiac). The place was incredibly cozy and the service was great, too! The people working are incredibly attentive and sweet. I got the Pasta Bolo with the Superspeed Avocado, and both tasted great! It tasted a lot like the real thing, and was full of flavor! For those that are looking for a place in the city with great food, cozy atmosphere, and need dietary restrictions, this is where to go! The entire menu is 100% plant-based, dairy-free, and gluten-free.

The only thing that wasnt nice was the tables were dirty. Still a recommendation.
