We came here for brunch last weekend and loved it. Incredibly friendly and attentive service and delicious food. We didnt have cocktails so I cant comment on those but everything else was wonderful. Beautiful, subdued interiors, cant wait to go back .
Exceptional Italian dining experience! Simon, our waiter, provided top-notch service with a smile. The food was simply delicious, especially the chicken dish – bursting with authentic Italian flavors. A must-visit for anyone craving genuine Italian cuisine!
A really pretty restaurant with good food!I ordered the Fettucine alla Bolognese. The portion size was pretty big and really delicious! The owner was also kind enough to give us an umbrella because it was raining heavily outside. Would recommend this restaurant!
I’ve been to the FiDi location of @felice.restaurants and had a great impression of it. This location was also superb. The food was amazing, service was awesome, and the environment was great. Just a really enjoyable dining experience. I would always feel confident going to any of their restaurants from now on! My favorite dish of the night was actually the appetizer of liver mousse and salami. Tasted great wrapped together or as a topping on bread🤤
I came here with a friend for dinner on a Wednesday night. We were sat on at a small and awkwardly placed dining table in a hall way to the main dining area. I had the Gnudi Cacio e Pepe which was very good but Arancini and the Gnocchi were mid. The service of everyone in the restaurant was so very lovely and so attentive. I would go back, but probably only if I couldnt get a reservation at other Italian restaurants in the neighborhood that do a similar thing but better. We also had two glasses of wine each which contributes to the per person cost of $50-100.
Felice is quickly becoming our favorite local restaurant. Luca, Eduardo and Ivan provide warm and welcoming service, making every visit a delight. They remember faces, names, and orders, adding a personal touch that makes us feel truly valued.
I recently went here for brunch with a friend and it was incredible. The ambience is beautiful. Our server, Rafaela was amazing; attentive, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and cuisine. We started off with their delicious burrata and prosciutto served with their crispy Tuscan bread. The burrata was so creamy and paired perfectly with the salty prosciutto. For our cocktails, I ordered the Riviera from their regular drink menu (Bombay Dry Gin, St. Germain, Chartreuse liqueur, fresh mint) and my friend got an espresso martini (available on both their regular and brunch cocktail menu). Rafaela recommended the Pizzetta con Salmone Affumicato (smoked salmon pizzetta) which was so delicious. It was even better than I thought it would be. I also tried one of their brunch cocktails, the Puccini, made with fresh mandarin oranges. My friend ordered the pollo fritto (fried chicken) served with an arugula and tomato salad, spicy caper aioli and grilled lemon for her entree. I ordered the fusili with San Marzano tomato sauce and burrata. Both dishes were so good. The pasta is clearly homemade. It was so fresh. My friend also ordered a side of bacon. I didnt have any, but it looked perfectly cripsy. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate crostata with whipped cream that was whipped tableside, a nice touch. I also had an espresso. I highly recommend going there. It was great.IG: @ms_new_foodieTikTok: @msnewfoodie
Loved it! We dropped by without a reservation, and we were lucky to find a table. The menu is small, which is a good indicator of fresh food. The service is really nice and attentive. The food is delicious. We tried starters, pasta, and dessert. 10s across the board. As an Italian myself, I recommend this place for authentic Italian food.
I had my birthday here and I think it was the best restaurant & service I’ve ever had. I made my reservation for a group of 12 a week before with their help and they were so helpful and kind. Dinner was absolutely delicious and they were so kind and attentive. Every member of the staff was outstanding and I could not recommend this place more. I had the best birthday and time here and their incredible staff made it happen!! Thank you and I will be coming again!
It was an overall excellent atmosphere, and the service at the restaurant was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We ordered food to share, and without even asking, the server divided the dishes for us, which made the dining experience even more pleasant. The Moscato was also delicious, and I highly recommend their tiramisu—definitely the best on the menu.
Had no idea what amazing place I was stumbling into when I picked this spot on my walk home 🫶 Staff was so welcoming and attentive, food was delicious and flavorful, wine was flowing. I appreciated their attentiveness despite visiting as a party of one!! Cheers to Felice!!
I am a consistent patron of their location on 56th St. and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the quality of food and service are maintained at the Hudson location as well. Felice will continue to be my go to for both business and personal meals. This place is nothing short of perfect.
We shared a bottle during happy hour and it was great. The staff was very welcoming and the white wine was delicious. Great spot to chill in the middle of a city day. I believe the bottle was $28 during happy hour
Simon provided outstanding service during our recent visit. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, making our dining experience truly enjoyable. His recommendations were spot on, and he ensured we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Highly recommend dining here and being served by Simon!
Awesome neighborhood gem for Italian!Amazing wine and pasta. Excellent service too and a cozy ambiance.
Beautiful restaurant with excellent service. The food is delicious and the portions are generous.
We went there on 1st January. We reserved in advance. The food was delicious, lovely atmosphere / ambiance, and the service was amazing. Decent selection of wine & drinks. Good for couples, groups of friends, and families. Lovely evening and I would definitely recommend.
One of my favorite places since today. The food and drinks were delicious. The service is wow. Want to especially thank Simon who was super charming and gracious. Strongly recommend!
Really good food and prompt service. Would definitely recommend.
Warm and hospital welcome from the moment I stepped inside. And that energy was matched by every member of the staff throughout the evening.Cocktails were made to perfection and the wine selection is unique, but has everything you need. The carbonara was the best Ive had since living in Roma, and it was hard to resist licking the plate! Fortunately the bread is toasted just right so you can shamelessly scoop up every last bit.Great vibe as far as music, perfectly dim lighting, with dessert to keep you hooked. Will DEFINITELY be back!
The bar team is the best! Also loved the lemon pasta.Highly recommend.
Had a really enjoyable meal at Felice last weekend. We started with the crab crostini, arancini and chicken liver moose which were good but wouldn’t say must orders, although the you can never go wrong with arancini and a glass of wine to start your meal. For pastas we did the Fusilli which was very good, and the Cacio Pepe which was kind of deconstructed in an unorthodox way. I’d say try one of the other pastas instead of it, considering the many options available. The fried chicken is light and crispy and very good. The sirloin medium rare was absolutely perfect and a great protein to share amidst all the starches that are available. Did multiple wines by the glass, all of which were nice and the staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and won’t steer you wrong. Overall had a really nice night and considering how competitive high end Italian in west village is, Felice should be added to your go to list.
Great food, drinks and service! I highly recommend Felice on Hudson. We had a great time here as a couple. They had nice holiday decorations up as well.
As someone who doesn’t often opt for Italian food, I really enjoy the food here. Never uncomfortably crowded, staff is extremely attentive and friendly and drinks are great. Would recommend.
Delicious food and really great service! We have ordered from here a ton, and tonight we went in for the first time and very happy we did. It’s going to be one of our new spots on the rotation for without a doubt!
The food is very nice. The stuff is super attentive. There were s plenty of parking space around
Dinner was really excellent here and I highly recommend.Good bread is always a way to get off to a good start, and the bread came fresh, hot, with a slight crunch that was delightful. For appetizers, we got a few things. The Arancini was delicious - perfect balance of rice to cheese. The quinoa salad was also very good - more quinoa than leaf but that was actually quite nice with the beets and avocado. As an entree, I had the pappardelle which was delicious. Freshly made noodles paired with the topping made this a winner.Service was also very friendly.
THIS is a 5-star restaurant! 👌🏻Top service and food. Very cosy restaurant. So happy we found this place. Highly recommend!
Wow. Just wow. We did a full buyout of Felice for our wedding rehearsal lunch June 2023. Every single detail was incredible, start to finish! We couldnt have asked for a better way to kick off our wedding weekend. The Felice team is so kind and felt like family. And the food was to die for! 12/10 recommend!
Sat down at 8pm, they gave me the happy hour menu. Didn’t come until 8:14pm to ask me what I wanted, then told me I was too late to order for happy hour. The waiter goes “sorry we were busy it’s no longer available” then when I said nevermind, he took my menus and walked away. I’d go somewhere else if you want decent service!
Been to other locations of Felice and the food has always been good. The service is was AWFUL. They forgot our drinks (twice), forgot a bottle of wine, and were late on every aspect of our meal except the appetizers. Would definitely recommend ordering takeout as the food was delicious and good.
The food was amazing, compliments to the Chef. Felice will be our regular spot, glad we found this gem!!!! Love the chocolate dessert
The restaurant was nice, the waiter was attentive and the appetizer tasty. However, I got a food poisoning, supposedly from the dish of the day - seafood pasta. It tasted a bit funny and was just swimming in oil that was half of the plate. Have been out of commission all day.
This is a 6! I’ve never felt so welcomed in a bar/restaurant. It was so great that I went 3 times in two weeks! The customer service was amazing!! Also the food was incredible, especially the warm salad and crispy bread. Thanks Lucca for making the experience first class…
With so many Italian spots in NYC, it means a lot that I would come here again over trying something new. Service was great. My only warning is that the Cacio e Pepe is non traditional. At first we thought we got the wrong dish because it looked like spinach gnocchi. Still tasty though.
Absolutely impeccable service, delicious food and the cocktails are simply amazing!
This Italian restaurant is a 10/10 - from ambiance, to food, to the staff.I’ve had multiple pastas, appetizers, and the burger!Ordered in tonight and they sent a personalized message with a bag. This place is special.
A food selection that fills a gap in the area and beyond, a pleasant atmosphere and service, an understated sophistication in a casual setting that makes you feel like you are vacationing in Italy. For an easier experience sit at the bar in the front.Think friends, very good food, and that feature that is so rare on most menus in NyC: variety. A rich selection of bites for a real aperitivo, and (finally!) a wide selection of daily specials with a focus on fish.A place to return to and never get tired of.Precious!
Excellent service - the bartender was mad cool. Definitely made the experience for me since great staff really makes or breaks a cocktail experience for me personally.Definitely a good date spot if youre in the village!
Clearly a popular place despite not having too many reviews. It is definitely popular on resy/in person. The service is quick, the staff is nice, and the food is good. The portions are a bit small which I’d expect from the area. However the food is pretty good and I’d go back again.
This is a lovely restaurant! It’s like being served a wonderful meal in a friend’s dining room, cozy and warm. The interior is beautiful with an eye for detail, and we all loved our drinks and food. Ask about their specials! It’s also reasonably priced for NYC.
Fantastic pasta and cocktails. The service was excellent and super attentive.
Very friendly staff, made the experience a lot better with good laughs! Food is excellent
Amazing service, great vibes, ok food.
I have eaten at this restaurant a couple of times, and both times I was delighted: the food is flawless, the cocktails are wonderful, the staff is friendly, and the dining room is beautiful. It can get crowded, so get a reservation. This evening we started with Bianco spritzes -- which are better than an aperol spritz because they arent so bitter. We shared an arugula and artichoke salad, which was great. Then I had the lasagna -- perfect -- and my date had the Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe. Weve also had the house ravioli. The staff made us feel welcome. They took our order and brought our food efficiently and with a minimum of fuss.
Amazing dinner and vibe! Recommend sitting at the bar and having Luca serve you. He was amazing and very knowledgeable about wine pairing and tastings! Fully recommend!
Neighborhood restaurant/bar that strikes the right balance between upscale and casual.Staff is incredibly accommodating and always professional (thank you to our host, Betsy, for your warmth and hospitality).
Great food, friendly staff and superb ambience. truffle pizzetta and agnolotti pasta are a must. the grilled peach with honeycomb gelato? a real delicacy, you’re going to love it. highly recommend authentic Italian wine bar & restaurant. Best Italian food in the village.
Food was excellent but I cannot rate the restaurant highly due to the suggested tips from the point of sale. I find it borderline predatory to provide false percentages for people who do not know better
Jorge was our sever and it was absolutely helpful and attentive with us. Food on point!!!! We’ll be coming back for sure.
How is it possible that a Friday evening dinner for 10 people that was reserved and confirmed was ruined?! Upon our arrival at the restaurant we saw a sign on the door that it is closed!! We dont live in NYC so for our group to arrive from New Jersey after paying tolls and parking to be disappointed like that was a shock. There was no email or text to inform us of a closure ( we actually received a text reminding us 30 min before reservation time that we are reserved and expected at 7pm).
The service and atmosphere were great! They tried to change our table for a better one, even though we didn’t ask for! They were very nice, food was great but could be better.
Friendly wait staff. Best lasagna I’ve ever had. Lamb ragu was amazing
Its as close to Tuscany as youll ever get.
Delightful service, food quickly arrived, tasty wines (organic, biodynamic, pet-nat), cute and cozy spot in a delightful neighborhood
Such a great experience. The pasta dish I ordered was not my favorite but the apps were delicious. There are many locations of felice but this one is my favorite and I noticed that locations and menus are not the same. I would also like to compliment the staff, there were so attentive and extremely kind. The manager Luca was such a gem and such a kind hearted person. I never met anyone like him and felt right at home.
5 stars for the Negroni flight - it’s all we had, and it was excellent. The taste, vibe, service was nice inside and outside seating.
Great location. The food is delicious! The service is outstanding. And their bread is beyond deliciousness 🤤
We had brunch and it was amazing! The French toast was the best Ive ever had. The omelet was fresh and delicious.
Food was good but not impressive. service was great. Would come back if in the area, but won’t favorite. Vibe was great!
We made a reservation for 8 pm on a weekend. There were plenty of tables open, so not necessarily needed. We sat and waited about 10 minutes to be greeted, given water, etc. Throughout the night, we noticed this theme and witnessed two other tables get up and leave after waiting the same amount of time. Unclear where the disconnect is with the being sat and then communicated with, but this clearly was an issue. The food was good. We just didnt think a burger was worth $30, and some burgers are worth it. This wasnt it. I had the salad which was delicious and refreshing.Drinks were delicious!
We had a great time here. The food was excellent and the cocktails were very good. Atmosphere is dark and cozy at dinner.
Delicious food and a great atmosphere. Great cocktails and good wine options.
Great brunch
Food was solid. The service and atmosphere were outstanding.
What a wonderful place. The service is attentive, pleasant, and comes with great recommendations for wine pairings. The pasta is fresh and delicious, the music and ambient lighting make for a romantic and calming environment, and they’re so accommodating — whether dining with a group or solo. I’ve visited under both scenarios and they’ve been most welcoming. They even let my date and I stay late to finish our celebratory wine on a special occasion. No rush at all. They really want you to enjoy and savor. Worth every penny I’ve spent and will continue to return.
The locations is super nice, we had fettuccine al ragù and lasagna, I have to admit I was impressed by the quality of the food. Also their cheesecake was delicious
Second visit! You know you’ve walked into a great restaurant when you’re surrounded by a stellar staff. It’s special to see so many happy faces, happy to be there and always ready to assist you and make your night a memorable one. Indeed it was.We started with a Tanqueray 10 Negroni and moved to a gorgeous bottle of Etna Rosso, Girolamo Russo. We shared the Pizza Tartufata, Crostino Burro e Acciughe, Arancini (a must try) and then Fettuccine alla Chiantigiana (it tastes just like back home). Another fantastic accomplishment of Chef Falai. Grazie mille, we’ll definitely come back.
Cocktails and appetizers were solid, and i liked the ambience. The table service was poor as we had to flag down our waiter every time we wanted something. Pasta entrees were very mediocre / did not taste fresh. Overall quite pricey and not as good as other italian spots in the area.Would come back for appetizers + drinks at the bar, but definitely not dinner.
Incredibly cute space with good food and cocktails. Great for dinner or brunch. Everything we had was amazing. However note that if you order salmon with your salad you will be getting 1.5 oz of salmon for $13.
The burrata with prosciutto was the bomb.
We just stopped in for a few drinks and a few appetizers. Drinks and food were very good. The ambiance was exactly what we were looking for. Our waiter was also very good. Unfortunately, however, no one provided a happy hour menu or let us know there was a happy hour so we spent $20 more than we otherwise might have. But, all the same, we look forward to going back.
Excellent food, very welcoming and professional service in a beautiful space. Highly recommended.
Stopped by for brunch and first ordered the ricotta & fig appetizer which was delicious. Then ordered entrees - tricolor salad, pesto gnocchi and a side of bacon. It took about an hour to get out to us which would’ve been fine - seemed like the kitchen was slammed - but with no check in on the food while waiting/during our meal, had to ask another server for our check, etc. It seemed like we caught them at a bad time from the looks of other positive reviews. Overall, the food was good and the restaurant was very cozy for Christmas, but it’s hard to warrant an hour wait.
Went here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The food was absolutely delicious and great service. Adding this to the regular rotation now.
Fantastic Pasta with fantastic service in a beautiful ambience.
TLDR: good food - rude and unprofessional waitressI had a good overall experience at this restaurant in terms of service and food. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. The menu offered a nice variety of options, and the food was enjoyable.Unfortunately, after my elderly uncle paid the bill, the waitress returned to our table and publicly expressed her dissatisfaction with the tip he had given. She was passive-aggressive, which made the situation uncomfortable for all of us. It turned out that my uncle had given a 13% tip, which fell below the waitresss expectations. This incident definitely marred an otherwise positive dining experience, as it made everyone uncomfortable and eager to leave. I strongly believe that such behavior should not be encouraged in any establishment. Tips should be a voluntary expression of gratitude for good service, and it is inappropriate for a server to react negatively or make customers feel guilty for providing what they consider a fair tip. This incident overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable meal. I hope that the management takes note of this incident and trains their staff to handle such situations in a more customer-centric and appropriate manner.Despite this unfortunate encounter, I would still recommend the restaurant for its good food. However, I would advise potential diners to be aware of the possibility of encountering such behavior regarding tipping and to not let it dampen their overall experience at the restaurant
Love this place...stopped in for happy hour and the staff was great...
Ivan the bartender was amazing. We sat at the bar and he was fabulous. So friendly and knowledgeable! We met locals that attend there regularly and feel the same way about this restaurant. He recommended the cheese cake and I should have tried it but we were so full from the steak and amazing Brussels sprouts, that I just couldn’t fit it in.For a random stop for a glass of wine, we are so happy we stopped ! Will put it on our list for next !!
Amazing food with a great atmosphere.Excellent service.
New restaurant, open 4 months. Firstly, we were very impressed with how the restaurant is designed. So simple and yet so stylish. The attention to details was clear. The food was terrific. We had the ricotta with honey and we split the gnude pasta and the burger. Divine. The staff were extremely nice.I will definitely come back and recommend to others.
Amazing neighborhood spot! All of the staff were so welcoming. Their everyday happy hour is the best with a great variety of drink and snack options. We had the riccotta appetizer which was incredible along with their Spritz and Martinis. The mushroom pappardelle was incredible! All around a great experience. I will definitely be back.
A little noisy and the food a but pricy for what it is
Great new Italian place with a good bar, great bartenders and awesome food. Portions are traditionally sized so you can enjoy a pasta AND a main! Service is a little discombobulated in the dining room so sit at the bar or be patient. The food is worth it.
Well good this is my one of my favorite Felice restaurants…. I love the Anita cocktail and the bread. We had steak it was excellent great deal for two. Place looks amazing and the services even better. I love to see a multicultural staff here. Beautiful
Hands down probably the best dining experience I have had in NY. Eduardo was absolutely fantastic! The food was amazing 👏 I highly highly recommend this place.
Crostini with ricotta was beautifully balanced and surprisingly delicious. A bit high priced but to be expected on this charming block.
Love this place but I keep hearing the same music. Please change playlist
I tried Felice on Hudson for the first time today for brunch and I had a lovely experience. The food is excellent and creative, the service is very attentive and I loved the cozy atmosphere. The Bloody Maria is a must try! I look forward to going back and try their dinner menu. Definitely recommended!
Wonderful food and service. Everything on the menu sounded so good that we couldnt decide, so we shared the Ricotta e Miele, Black Label Burger, and Fettuccine alla Chiantigiana. Everything was excellent and our server was very attentive.
We came for a simple diner with my girlfriends, and we had an amazing experience, everything was perfect, the food, the service, the atmosphere, Christina was really careful about us (thanks again!)For sure, we’ll be back soon!
Ambiance is incredible super clean, romantic, dimly lit spot. Great for a date. Great cocktail, food and service! They had gluten free bread and pasta!
Amazing fettuccine, probably the best I’ve had (outside of my kitchen ;))
The food and service was outstanding. We intended to sit outside and have a drink before dinner. We ended up staying until 10pm and enjoyed every aspect of the evening.
Always a great experience here! Excellent food, friendly and attentive staff
Visiting from London. Hidden gem, great service, and beautiful setting. Would highly recommend
Amazing experience! The best Ragu I have ever eaten. The staff is very friendly. Will be back again 🙌
Came in last week and had a great experience. Service is very on top and kind. The food was great and the quality is as good as his older sister brand Sant Ambroeus. So glad they opened in the hood.
The staff was absolutely amazing, they were tentative and friendly and of course the food was delicious from the appetizers all the way to the dessert I can’t wait to eat there again!
Good food, and atmosphere just expensive
Amazing environment and good vibes! Best date night place in the Village!
Great service. Overpriced food but was worth it
Great salmon salad 🥗
I just discovered the best Italian spot in the village…that’s right. We received the warmest and most genuine welcome the moment we stepped in and were pampered throughout the entire meal as we soaked up the beautiful ambience.Solid wine list featuring some Italian gems like COS - Pithos, highly recommended if you like orange wine and Fattoria Sardi - Pet Nat Rose (nothing beats natty bubbles). Please share the arancini, the crostino burro e acciughe and the gnudi…you’ll think about this review and thank me in your head at dinner.Fantastic job everyone and grazie mille Max & Manuela! You’re the best orchestra directors as every single detail was on point, every single instrument was finely tuned.
One of the most racist and unprofessional setting I’ve ever seen in my life they have no respect for people and only care about who they want to cater it was very disappointing and sad honestly because i truly wanted to do business with them. They showed they’re true colors today. It was my first time visiting this place.
Amazing place! Very new, amazing staff, great food!!
Fantastic menu, tastefully prepared
Whipped ricotta toast with figs was to die for.
Never again. I came to have a drink at the bar and was rudely turned away because I was black. The host and staff all stood and looked at me like I was a not even there.
Very good. Good service and vibe.
Amazing service and great food.
Delicious food and great hospitality
Amazing food amazing service
10/10 will come back.
A pearl on Hudson Street!
After a long walk through Brooklyn we found Felice (there is another one with the same name in Brooklyn). A very nicely decorated restaurant where many locals also eat. The service was very friendly and attentive. We ordered a salad with avocado 🥑 and poached eggs on a slice of bread with salmon (extra as a side dish) and pasta tagliatelli. Both were very tasty, especially the smoked salmon, cut very delicately and with a fine taste. There wasnt enough for dessert because we were really full. Then next time. You can also sit outside if the weather permits. The prices werent too high for New York standards.
A unique experience, the taste of Italian cuisine in New York, the selection of wines, the very pleasant atmosphere, Mr. Lucas and his staff in charge make you feel like an honored guest. for me the favoriteA unique experience, the taste of Italian cuisine in New York, the selection of wines, the very pleasant atmosphere, Mr. Lucas and his staff in charge make you feel like an honored guest. for me the favorite
This restaurant is a beautiful place. The cuisine is delicious. There remains the exorbitant price ($15 per tarte tatin), but which is like all the other chic restaurants in the area.Only problem: the tables for two are located in the corridor next to the kitchens, which is a shame for the atmosphere.
I was here to eat with my friends, and after eating American food for two weeks I felt at home for one evening. Very good food and also theservice. We thank Ernesto.
Excellent service, and above all very good food and drinks, but more than that, super friendly and good people with customers, and dont forget to ask about the drink called EDO-LATTE, it is new, created by Eduardo, which is excellent person and offers a very good service.
Excellent service, excellent food. Go
