I’m so disappointed that my bolognese pasta wasn’t that good, overcooked texture and cold. The worse espresso martini I ever have in my life. And I had to change my fork twice cause the gave me dirty forks. BUT THE SERVICE WAS AMAZING!
We had our son’s rehearsal dinner here. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious. They created a personal menu for our dinner, which was appreciated. They even had a special kids menu for the little ones. We had reserved the lounge space downstairs. The space was perfect for our group of 35.
Highly recommend. You will walk off the New York street straight into Italy. The carbonara is incredible. 3 of my party had it and everyone said it was just as good as when we were in Italy. The noodles were thick and tasty. I had the lasagna and it was super light and flavorful. Usually lasagna feels so heavy. The vibe was great, we throughly enjoyed it. Definitely recommend.
I recently had lunch at Felice and it was a delightful experience. I ordered the pollo lattuga pomodoro and a Bianco cocktail, both of which were very tasty. The flavors were authentic and reminiscent of Italian cuisine. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was excellent. Felice has multiple locations throughout the city, making it a convenient choice for a delicious meal. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
A decent staple in the neighborhood for pasta craving. Service was decent though we had to flag down staffs a few times to get what we need. Considering we came on a beautiful Friday peak dinner time, this is understandable. There were some confusion where my friend state that she’s vegan but was recommended and brought a vegetarian dish though they quickly clear the plate away and brought her something else. Overall, this restaurant have potential - would come back to give this place a second try!
Well executed hospitality in an elegant and cozy space. The classic New York-Italian menu is well curated and their dinner specials are worth trying. The ambiance is neighborhood-y and the service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend their grilled fish, the chicken liver mousse crostini and their charcuterie plate for share. The pastas are fresh, well portioned and flavored. The tiramisu is pricey but delicious!
Absolutely amazing experience! Michael, the NEW manager, is phenomenal. I couldnt ask for better! We had our post engagement dinner there, we had a large group of people, +10, and Michael made sure it was a fantastic dinner! We had great service (super fast and friendly) and delicious food, there was a great atmosphere, and overall, it was the best place to host a large group of people. I highly recommend Felice 71 - Columbus, as well as their manager and staff!!
Very sophisticated little restaurant with inside and outside seating. I had an amazing gin based cocktail. I also had the bruschetta and Chicken Pomodoro. All was extremely tasty. My friend ordered the mussels and they were the best Ive ever tasted. Would recommend!!
We came to the Upper West Side location last week, and we really enjoyed it.We started with the fried calamari with artichokes appetizer; so good. Then we shared the linguine bolognese and the tonnarelli cacio e pepe; both pastas were delicious. We finished with the excellent tiramisu and a latte. Everything was super nice, the food was very tasty, service was on point, all of it. 100% recommended.
A/C was amazing! Eomantic Bahama themed tables, jazz music and very kind servers. Highly recommend. Beautiful long bar in case you dont have a reservation
Felice was great! We all enjoyed trying different t selections of the Negroni bar. The side dishes were actually the tastiest part of the entire meal but entrees were really good too. Surprisingly, the burger stood out as one of the best orders that night. The service started slow but our waitresses switched and our 2nd waitress was awesome and very attentive.Save for dessert, tiramisu was tasty!
The food is always good, service was way better than before. I used to like to go here as my cute neighborhood date spot but the last time I visited for Christmas, the service was noticeably worse, it wasn’t even a busy night. Our waitress didnt even ask or look at our glass half filled with Pellegrino Sparkling water and just filled it up with tap water and walked away (while talking to another waiter!) I was shocked at how careless it was. She came to ask how the cake we ordered was for dessert without even looking (again), and we told her that we hadnt received the dessert yet! Its so hard to tip 20% for service like this, but its not all about her and I hope it was just a bad day.
The food, the service, the interior design and ambiance; everything was excellent. Look forward to going back and trying more items on the menu :)The $28 lunch menu is great. You get an entree and a main. I had the bruschetta to start and it was amazing! And the mains are full sized, so altogether it’s a lot of food!
The owner is very lucky to have a careful and hardworking manager. I sat at the bar, and it was so enjoyable.✔️
Have eaten here many times - about a year ago it had gotten bad though so avoided it for a year. Recently went back though and had an amazing meal! The branzino is just incredible, so is the rigatoni with salmon in cream sauce. Service and atmosphere are excellent.
We had a lovely time at Felice. Their pastas cooked well with nice flavors and were a good portions as well. We had the carbonara, ravioli and salmon pasta which were excellent. I loved the ravioli with ricotta cheese in sage butter because it was light and delicious. The carbonara had a mouth watering taste as well. The tiramisu is delicate with a subtle and enjoyable flavor. One of my favorites. The service was excellent as well. We were able to sit at the bar and the people who took care of us were very kind. We will definitely be back soon!
We came in on Saturday evening and sat outside. I gotta say our server was the only reason why we are gonna give this place another chance. She was not only funny and attentive but also made us feel very welcome. Denise was her name and she deserves all the praise. We have dined here before and know the potential it has but somehow the food keeps progressively getting worse. I truly hope it changes for the better and for this place to become a gem in the neighborhood where we can just stop by anytime and enjoy it to the fullest.
Had an amazing time with my good friend here. I’ve been planning to come here for dinner for a while and I finally made it and it was just what I expected. My negroni was perfect, and my friend love the wine. I had the Zuppa which was ok, but the Branzino was delish, we enjoyed all our food and we couldn’t make it to desert. Our waiter was excellent and very polite.
Great experience. Very chilled Italian chain restaurant that always delivers. So far I havent had any bad experiences in any Felice restaurant. Its great for family or friends that want to spend time together and chat, without feeling rushed or pressured to leave.(If you are in rush. Ensure you tell the waiter in advance so you can get your bill!).We were planning to get dessert but the waiter didnt show up quickly enough so we ended up skip it (probably a good thing).
Had it few times. Very nicely executed solid food. Packaging is pretty good too. However, please use some other take out container for the saucy pasta. It always kinda leaked. Thank you.
It’s a good location and good food to tourist like me! Very close to Strawberry Fields in Central Park. The food and wine were outstanding, and the waiter Ruben and other staff were welcoming and friendly, I asked about the information about food and wine, they are knowledgeable too.I will come back here again if I visit NY next time!
We got the spaghetti arrabiata and the pappardelle. Spaghetti was fine, but nothing to write home about. We thought the sauce was too sweet. Pappardelle was much better, great mushroom flavor and thr pasta had a great bite. We got some ricotta toast as appetizer, which was way too expensive for the amount that we had.
Really nice Italian food, great service, quiet and cozy.
The food was very good and the service was great. I came with a party of 6 and we were seated very quickly. They have a great selection of wine as well. If you do end up going, get the bruschetta. The tomatoes were amazing.
Unfortunately, it was disappointing, the portions were very small and the food was not very tasty.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Felice Columbus and they left quite the impression on me.As a dedicated food enthusiast I must say the food at Felice was nothing short of extraordinary. The fresh ingredients and meticulous preparation were evident in every bite. Our servers recommendations were spot on, guiding us to dishes that not only delighted our palates but also introduced us to new and exciting flavors. What truly elevated the evening was the exceptional service, led by the manager, Adrian. His attentive nature was instrumental in making our dining experience unforgettable. His passion for hospitality was palpable, making us feel genuinely welcome and valued. In summary, my visit to Felice in Columbus was a delightful. Adrian and his team have created a haven for food lovers, and I look forward to many more visits. Highly recommended!
Came for the pastas, stayed for the honey ricotta crostini! Ricotta crostone is melts in my mouth! Perfect sweet, savory combo.
5/28/22: Cute, pleasant interior and great staff. Had the Pappardelle con Salsiccia (sweet Italian sausage, braised endive, porcini mushrooms, herbs, truffle sauce). The sauce was good but the noodle was undersalted and overcooked. I wouldnt order it again.
We stopped for lunch and we really enjoy our food, they can also accommodate Gluten Free. The service was attentive and friendly. We’ll be back!
A neighborhood place, nice atmosphere, friendly & accommodating service, good food, but we should have ordered pasta dishes. They also have a nice downstairs area.
My friend hadn’t quite finished her glass of wine - we’d been at the table about an hour & were asked to leave because others with a reservation were waiting outside. Never happened to us before - we won’t be back.
Awesome Italian joint.... Good food, great ambience, and courteous staff. Its a bit on the expensive side, but totally worth it.
We just popped in for a couple macchiatos and some dessert. Let’s renormalize popping into restaurants for dessert and espresso? Ok?The real kicker for Felice Columbus is going to be the ambiance.Did the moody rain influence me? Yes. But also the not-too-low lighting and tea light candles.Every table was taken yet this restaurant had a way of preserving the intimate feel while maintaining a moderate noise level.Highlights: they have a Negroni bar— how fun??The Torta Al Cioccolato [basically a lava cake] is gluten free and the perfect size.Street views from eye level windows and large sliding doors that provides a front row seat to the rest of the west side [the best side].
Good food and service. Beer selection only the greatest bit wine selection was good.
First and last time buying here. I placed an order (7/12/24 - 5:30pm) through the website and as soon as I came in the hostess and manager were extremely rude and ugly actitud, when they saw me come in there faces were like if they saw a disgusting animal they didn’t even say hello or anything like that. They looked so disappointed it, I can say that they were racist because I was not white and well dressed. Even do that the food was good I would not recommend this place at all.
We had a great evening at Felice. My cousin and I love the place was a great atmosphere and awesome service the bartender Rafael was amazing he made our night ..!! I’d recommend the calamari was good .!!
Food is consistently good, as is service, they are nice and accommodating. We’ve been there already 4 times this trip, from large group to family or just 2. Always perfect!
This was truly a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Paxton, was what truly made this occasion special - he’s AWESOME. Along with Denisa who kept us belly laughing all night. Our appetizers were great. Our entrees were exceptional. And the cocktails were absolutely stellar. And, the service provided truly was one of a kind. I will return time and time again.
We had a wonderful experience tonight at Felice. Adrian and his staff went above and beyond to meet our every request. The food and drinks were exceptional. Service and hospitality at this level is rarely seen anymore. The heart and soul poured in this establishment is truly special. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back!
I ordered salad, pasta and soup, everything was absolutely amazing! Everything was really filling! The price was slightly expensive but quality was great so didnt matter. The restaraunt had a nice vibe to it. Would definitely recommend it!
Disappointed since I used to love this place. Went there last night and was served cold flavorless steamed mussels and decent arancini. Service was subpar, the waiter never checked in on us after we finished our apps to order our mains so we actually decided to take the check instead of having a full meal.
Food and ambience were good. Service was pretty slow, with bartenders explicitly ignoring you at times.
Excellent food, excellent service. Staff very friendly & attentive. Highly recommend it
The pasta was undercooked and very hard to chew. Also it was fine at the beginning but the more I eat the saltier it gets.
Classy location in NYC.Christian Ferrulli top manager
A classic spot for very good food. Had their fish special, prompted by the server, which was delicious. Great cocktails. Lovely blend of buzzy crowd and low-lit intimacy. Hope to make this a regular haunt.
The food was good but wow the way they treated my partner and me (both asians). When we were seated we were handed menus then 3 other groups were seated around us. They were given water and bread immediately but took 20 minutes to give us the same and only because i asked for it. When we ordered food we were the last to be served and might i add another group walked in after we were given appetizers and they were served entrees ahead of us. All i wanted was to quickly eat and leave. Food was good but i will never go back
One of the best Carbonara spots in town 🔥. Also everyone was super polite and friendly at the Columbus location. Thanks all!
My friends and I ordered Rigatoni Al Salmone and Cozze Al Pomodoro the first time we dined in. So now I tried for pick up and still the same taste, it’s so good.
We had a great experience, enjoyed the food and the drinks. Everyone was amazing will definitely be back..
Id been here before. My friends had not. 2 New Yorkers plus 1 former New Yorker visiting from... Florida! (😲🤢 I know...). It may seem pricey for Italian/pasta, but its TOTALLY worth it. Decor, impeccable. Ambiance, delightful. Food, beyond delicious with generous portions. But our evening was made perfect by our bartender/server Andrea. She endured mishaps no server should, and bounced back with humor and grace. GO HERE. You wont be disappointed.
Felice 71 did a fantastic job hosting the Fly me to the Moon premier pre-gather. The pasta was a highlight - wonderfully done! Staff took amazing care of us - beautifully put together!
The ultimate neighborhood glommerTheir outdoor footprint takes up most the sidewalk. They are not friendly to the people in the neighborhood that are trying to get by with strollers, older folks with walkers, or dogs .Somehow WE are inconveniencing them as we walk our block. They park their spare tables and chairs that are NOT in use in PUBLIC PARKING spaces that are for the public and for residents of the neighborhood - as if their outdoor structure isn’t already taking up enough room. The pasta is ok at bestWay undercooked and when we sent it back, the manager came out to disagree and argue that that is how pasta should be cooked (?) … never seen that happen beforeWay better, and nicer establishments in the neighborhood with much better food
Popped in for a late lunch on a very rainy Saturday and sat at the bar. The vibe was super chill and I loved the music they were playing. The bar is very easy on the eyes. I wanted the food to be better though. I had a glass of red and the pizzette. The sauce was full of flavor but the crust killed the vibe…flavorless, crumbly and unfortunately undesirable. I would give it a second chance though. Just don’t get the pizzette.
Anatella was our waitress last night. We were outside and she was coming back and forth in the POURING rain with a true smile and good nature. It would have been so easy and understandable for her to be miserable but she was awesome. Thank you!
The service & atmosphere were good but the food was not really that great. I would not recommend eating here, not worth the price.
We visited on a Saturday evening, and the place was completely booked so they let us use the downstairs lounge area which had a bar. It was actually very serene downstairs and the bartender (Sunny) was absolutely awesome. I enjoyed everything I tried, from the spinach to the cacio e pepe
An excellent experience in Tuscan Italian dining. Food is cooked to order. Staff is attentive. Reservation was honored. They run a very good operation. I will return.
Love the bar downstairs. Andrea was amazing. Quinoa salad was great. Good vibes.
Fantastic server and food at this restaurant. Great addition to the UpperWest side. Our server, Brian, was wonderful. He suggested a delicious wine, not trying to oversell us. The food was excellent. We ordered several appetizers and side dishes so wed have a good sampling. Pizza, meatballs ,veggies were excellent. Also, they were great about seating us where we wanted to sit under a heat lamp!
Our favorite place in the neighborhood. Cannot praise it enough. Cosy atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food. Crostini Toscani and Frutti De Mare pasta two if my personal favorites.
Last Tuesday night I stopped by Felice the one in Columbus ave, from the hostess to the GM Adrian were amazing, food was outstanding. Strongly recommended.
Fantastic.. authentic.. Tuscan cooking. Amazing ambience especially coming up on the holidays. Service was great, fully taken care of from start to finish. Wine list was thorough and provided a lot of options in regards to preference/price. Could only recommend stopping by if you’re in the city. We’ll be going back!
Great service, the food was delicious and the negroni was beautiful.
I went for lunch, and the place was great! The service was amazing, and the food was really good!
Food was quite good. The veal meatball appetizers and pizzetta margarita were good. I enjoyed my Italian Sausage Pappardelle. It was crowded and tables a bit cramped hence the 3 star for atmosphere.
Welcoming and attentive service. Very good food & nice atmosphere. The table is a tad small so its a bit challenging to have more than two plates at one time.
Best carbonara Ive had since Rome. The food here is authentic and delicious, with great variety on the menu. The waiters were very kind and helpful, and I didnt feel rushed. They have lots of outdoor seating, in a nice area to enjoy the weather and people watch. Will definitely be coming back here again.
While I have eaten at a few of the Felice restaurants ,I really enjoyed our first dining experience at Felice 71 on Columbus Avenue. What made our experience so delightful was our server, Andrea who made certain wonderful suggestions that enhanced our evening. Thanks to Andrea, we had a fantastic dinner!
Great service! I loved the waiters are really Italians. All we ordered was delicious apart from the gnocchi that’s was a bit tasteless. The atmosphere is inviting and the place is cute.
My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Felice. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a terrific bar. The service and the food were excellent. We both had the Crostone Con Avocado along with a Bloody Mary for brunch and it was delicious. Highly recommend. If we lived in NYC, Felice would be our “go to” neighborhood restaurant!
Great food great service! we didn’t have rezzies but we showed up right before dinner rush and they were sweet and accommodating. we sat outside and enjoyed the view. recommend the ricotta toast, the lasagna and the arrabiata.
Came on a Friday afternoon- was just walking by looking for a place to eat and we decided to stop here. It already seemed to have a lively crowd. The wait staff was friendly, engaging, and chatty. We sat outside and the space was clean, organized and cozy. We had the bruschetta and veal meatballs for an appetizer. The bruschetta was ok. The meatballs were very good - the veal was not over seasoned and the sauce was not too sweet or acidic. Had a couple of espressos which were very good. The house olive oil has a nice nutty and buttery flavor when tasted alone with the bread. The salmone was cooked perfectly, I did ask for the steak medium rare and it was a bit overcooked but still tender and juicy. I would definitely return - the dishes are also priced reasonably and you should feel you are getting your money’s worth.
First of all, I want to say that I never write reviews, good or bad, as I do work in the industry and i know that bad experiences happen (food , service, new staff..). I have immense respect for restauranteurs. However here, it is a hosting issue / hospitality ;the host did not want to sit us inside because of the size of my dog. They had only 1 table taken inside, and the entire restaurant available. I then told the host it was a service dog and he asked me for the card which is illegal .“Service animals are not required to have an identification card or other documentation. You may ask the handler to remove the service animal only when: The service animal is out of control and the handler does not or cannot take effective action to control it.”We decided to not take the table outside and leave. A few blocks up is that beautiful restaurant called Pecora Bianca. The host was so charming, asked if it was “a service animal” and didn’t ask for a proof. Then she immediately sat us in a corner table so my dog would have more space as she said … This is the difference between good and bad hospitality.
Amazing dishes. The cod was cooked to perfection. The duck was amazing, and the service was impeccable. Would recommend and return the next time in New York.
Service was superb, romantic atmosphere and honestly some of the best tasting Italian food Ive had in awhile.
Best avo toast:) love the design and the atmosphere 💖👏🏻
Fantastic food, drinks & service! The pasta is fresh and delicious and we had a great time sitting at the bar chatting with the bartender (who makes a mean dirty vodka martini btw). The cozy atmosphere was perfect for a cold, rainy night. Well be returning in the near future!
The food was delicious and the service was also very good. Such a cute place!
Great food and great staff !! James, the manager is an amazing guy !! The bartenders and service staff are incredibly amazing !! They make you feel like home here. Wine selection is spot-on !! Food is delicious!! Will definitely come back again !! Keep up the good work james. You and your team is truly doing a great job !
Service was incredible. The atmosphere of the place was very nice and the food amazing. We ordered pasta carbonara - perfectly cooked “al dente” and the sauce flavorful- and pasta a la vongole which was delicious. Good selection of wines!
Food was tasty, presentation is good. We had a large party so had the preset menu with choice of entree and dessert. 4 different starters, arugula salad, aracini, eggplant, and salmon tartare. Favorite was the tartare, lightly dressed in oil with fresh avocado and capers. I had the fettuccine Bolognese, other choices were NY strip, chicken Milanese, and Salmon. Dessert was tiramisu-pretty solid. Cream and cake were light. Or you could choose gelato.
The food was delicious, the ambiance was lovely, and the service was top notch. I was proposed to there last night and we were brought champagne and dessert on the house. What a treat and a beautiful restaurant to now have this wonderful memory with. Cheers!
The meal here on my first night in NY was a real highlight of my trip. Excellent service from arrival, and although seated outside as restaurant was full, we were very well looked after. I thought the food was superb, but more importantly the warm welcome was genuine, and made for a great start to my holiday. I can’t wait to return. Thank you.
Have eaten here a couple of times now the food and ambiance is outstanding. They have done a very nice job on the decor and the service is great. A highly recommended place to dine out at on the Upper West Side.
Absolutely phenomenal experience!!! The food was delicious, well-portioned, and reasonably priced. Wine pairings were outstanding. The staff was top-notch and took incredible care of us. The General Manager, Julien, was welcoming, attentive, and ensured we were well taken care of. Will be coming back frequently!!!
Fantastic cocktails, great pastas, good ambiance and solid service.
DELICIOUS!!
Update: Yep, my favorite restaurant on the Upper West Side. Cozy, festive, convivial ambiance (great for Christmastime) and superb food. Prices increased but they have everywhere. The pasta is very, very good and also very generously portioned. Ricotta crostini is also delightful as always. (I’ve gotten it every single time I’ve dined at a Felice.)Original review (December 2021): An awesome experience overall. I would highly recommend Felice Columbus to anyone interested in authentic Italian (specifically Tuscan food) and a bustling, cozy family-friendly atmosphere.I came in with my family on a December Saturday at 6:30pm—the restaurant was packed! Even though it was super busy, we were warmly greeted at the door by Elvis, the maitred or floor manager (I think), and chatted about Italy for a few minutes before being seated (we had a reservation). The service was prompt and the food was fantastic — the crostone ricotta (a lightly sweet appetizer that could even be dessert), lasagna, and fettucine alla bolognese in particular were absolutely delicious. All the pastas are good (we tried 4 of them), silky, fresh, and cooked to perfection. The only negative thing I can comment on are the brussels sprouts, which got soggy quickly because they were served in a mini bowl rather than a plate. But generally, it seems like you cant go wrong with any order, appetizer or entree. And Elvis kept coming to check on us and was very kind. He made us feel very welcome. We will be coming back often! Thank you Felice for a wonderful Saturday night!Update January 2021: Came here with friends, sat in a private outside cabin, and thoroughly enjoyed the spaghetti alla carbonara. So good. Thick (I love spaghetti that is a little wider than store bought), al dente chewy, creamy, flavorful. Cacio e pepe excellent too.
Fantastic for date night! Cozy spot where we enjoyed a tasty pasta dinner, delicious bruschetta, a nice wine selection, and a wonderful take on tiramisu. Friendly service too. We had dinner at the bar and had a great time, but try to make a reservation if you want a table. We will be back!
This place is an incredible Italian 🇮🇹 restaurant! Felice Columbus offers a delicious 🤤 selection of high quality dishes! 🍽️ They have pasta 🍝, chicken 🍗, salads 🥗, desserts 🧁, and more! Definitely try the Chicken 🐔 Milanese and Black Truffle ⚫ dessert (its an unbelievable chocolate 🍫 truffle ball filled with cream). Staff 👨🍳 is super friendly and welcoming, service is quick and very professional! The ambience 🎶 is great and the decor is superb! I wish I came here earlier!
The best Felice - hands down!! Cuisine is exceptional; staff go above and beyond in terms of the level of service and kindness. Miguel behind the bar and Alfredo at the front are some of the best in hospitality!
I took advantage of the fixed price lunch and was not disappointed. This is one of the best meals Ive had in a while. The lunchtime atmosphere was subdued and quiet, and the staff were excellent the whole meal. Highly recommended.
We just had a nice bottle of wine at the bar. Food portions that we saw looked large and definitely came out hot. Good wine list for sure.
Had this place on my list for a while, and it did not disappoint. Reservation handled smoothly, arriving early and was able to be seated. Felt very taken care of by our waiter. The Carbonara was great, pasta was al dente, lots of flavor, and very rich. Very nice portion. The Torta al Cioccolato was delicious. I will definitely return knowing which dishes I want to try next, and also look into their other locations.
Great food, pleasant ambience,Service was also very good.
We ordered a bottle of champagne over the phone for a couple celebrating an important date. The staff did an outstanding job making sure that the party received the bubbly at the right time and in a special way. They were delighted. So we’re we!
Everything was absolutely delicious. The pesto gnocchi and the fusilli in red sauce were amazing. Definitely would go back.
Staff treated us amazingly, Brian was super helpful. The VIP Igloo was surprisingly cute and extra atmospheric since we got to play our own music!Food was superb, overall highly recommend Felice!
Great salmon bagel for a late brunch. The amount of salmon on the bagel made it seem worth the $20. The atmosphere was inviting and clean.
This was our fifth visit to Felice Columbus, since their opening in August, and they don’t disappoint. From the welcome by James, who is always professional and polite, to the knowledge and recommendations of our waiter Brian, to the fabulous food that the kitchen prepares, we had another wonderful meal!Brian was very attentive and took great care of us. His wine knowledge is impressive, he made a great recommendation that paired perfectly with our meal and didn’t break the bank. We started with the Carciofi e Calamari Fritti, which is always great. For the main dishes we had the Chicken Milanese and the Branzino Al Cartoccio, both were delicious. Most importantly, don’t leave without trying the Tortino di Gianduia (Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse Cake) and the Tiramisù.Felice Columbus is a lovely addition to the Upper West Side restaurant scene, bringing together the trifecta of delicious food, excellent service, and great ambiance - highly recommended!!
We had appetizer mussels very good meatballs and side of Brussels good. The Pasta dish was a small portion??. Overall good place to eat.
Absolutely loved my evening here. Great ambiance, excellent food, and outstanding service.I sat at the bar, Joe and Mariano were great company while they kept my balsamic Negronis fresh while I devoured the meat and cheese board. Can’t wait to go back!
I had the carbonara and the noodles were far from al dente. The quinoa salad was amazing
Trying to be nice, we enjoyed meal— but MULTIPLE patrons brought dogs — against NY health law. Any concerns for folks w dog allergies? Any concerns dogs unhealthy spread of germs? What about the safety of other dogs potentially fighting?
The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We got a table for 3 for a lovely Sunday brunch. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the atmosphere is very nice for relaxing on a lazy Sunday.
Some of the best gluten free pasta I’ve ever had
Surprisingly mediocre fare at best. Salmon tartar was simply a few bits of chopped salmon; veal meatballs had little veal; pasta overcooked; sides of beets and brussel sprouts were bland or overcooked. Room too noisy to maintain comfortable conversation
The salmon salad was ok, but a bit disappointing. I expect a salad to be cut a bit more than it was. The salmon itself was done very well. The arancini balls were very good.y wife enjoyed the cacio pepe pasta. All in all this is a nice place, although a bit expensive. Also, I dont know if I would get a salad there again.
Best salmon salad Ive eaten in my life. Every ingredient was fresh and perfect! Attentive and friendly waitstaff.
Second location we have been in - UES was the first one - and we love it. Really good Pasta, good drinks, and a great atmosphere that moves away from a classic NYC italian restaurant, into an elegant and modern vibe. They have a speak easy type bar downstairs, but Im not sur when it is open to the public.
The home made pasta was cooked to perfection. The sauce from scratch and the staff were just the icing on the cake. You have to try Felice!
Very light food great for the summer. We ordered the branzino and veal pasta. Both tasted super clean and fresh. The fish is a must order, the way its cooked keeps it super light and juicy.
Uova Al Forno is amazing! The tomato source is irresistible. One of the best brunch in the city!
Nice place for some italian. Nothing too special about it. Tables for two are a bit small. The milanese was very good! Carbonara had cheese that was too strong and overpowered the rest of the dish. Overall had a good time but nothing out of the ordinary.
Wonderful people. Great location if you’re headed to the Beacon Theater. Food was excellent. Service fantastic. Great wine list! Loved it!
This place is always top notch in terms of kid friendliness, attentive weight staff, excellent food, and very quick service. We usually stop by around 11am on a Sunday and get seated right away.
Sweet restaurant with good food! We got the salmon salad, bruschetta, and brusssel sprouts
Our server, Brian, deserves all the praise in the world!! I’m all about customer service and making dinner feel like I’m eating with my own family. At this Italian cuisine, Brian did JUST that. Felt like I was being hosted by my own family member. Hope this man gets all the praise and promotion he deserves & all the success in his acting career. See you on the big screen Brian from New Jersey, eyyy paisan! From your new customer, Lanna from the lower east side
A great for Italian food. Highly recommended!
Excellent food and drinks. Service was above average. I hosted a company dinner there and we loved it. Ill be back soon.
Linguini frutti di mare was good, not great. Ditto the arugula salad. A pleasant evening. Pricey considering the options and quality.
Unfortunately, I apologize to the other crew for expressing my thoughts in this way!!! bartenders, servers and hostesses. This will be a very special comment for me, apart from theirs. I have been a customer of Felice Columbus for about 3 years. I can describe myself as regular customer , but I have to admit that I have been coming to this restaurant for 1 year only for a few employees who do their job in the best way. I have been coming to Felice restaurant to have my dinner with pleasure for years because it is pet friendly and makes me feel like I am at my own home. And today, the new manager and crew of this restaurant have changed, taking me away from the feeling of belonging to my dog.I was disturbed by the intervention and the needless, cowardly warning. and in additionDont waste your money here, its no different from an ordinary restaurant, it changes its felice portions and loses its professionalism, its not worth it NEVER RECOMMENDING ANY MORE
It wasnt the overcooked vegetable dish nor the mushy, overcooked noodles in my lasagne that made me rate this place so low. It was the THREE dogs they allowed to hang out with their owners at the bar, including one that barked multiple times. This is against the law.
Great dine-in experience with phenomenal service and food. Enjoyed every bite
Really good service from all the team, special thanks to Miguel C. Thanks for that dinner.
I ordered that pasta Ariabiatta I guess thats the pronunciation. But its the spicy tomato pasta sauce with pasta. And it wasnt great I could do a better job at home. And I asked for bread in the side. I was told yes I checked its in the bag and when I reached home no BREAD!!!!! NO PECORINO IT STATED IT CAME WITH IT. AND THE MANAGER SAYS TO ME WELL IF WE HAE BREAD LEFT WE WILL GIVE IT. WOW UNBELIEVABLE. WELL I DIDNT ENJOY IT ITS NOT ALL THE HYPE AND BELCHING LIKE CRAZY I HOPE I DONT GET SICK I ONLY ATE IT BECAUSE I WAS SO HUNGRY. ILL BE BETTER IFF GOING TO AUTHUR AVE IN THE BRONX OR MULBERRY STREET TO GET THAT TASTE OF ILD ITALIAN FOOD YUK YUK YUK ON THEM..... And they had the nerve to ask me if I wanted my change back I should have said yes...
Great great pasta!!! Staff are very nice. We ate outside unfortunately with a heater the ambiance inside looked very nice.
Delicious fresh pasta! So happy to have such a good Italian restaurant right in my neighborhood. It can get busy on the weekends, recommend a reservation. Cute outdoor dining options!
Food is incredible ! awesome ambiance
The food its amazing here 😍😍i’m in love with everything but my favorite part its the service Angelica the bartender she is the best of the best… i’ll be back soon!
I like the vibe and food of this place.
Very nice lounge seating downstairs for relaxed dining with small groups.
I ordered the Pappardelle Con Salsiccia and Fettuccine Alla Bolognese to go. Both were very bland, I would have returned them if I was dining in.
Excellent service. Good drinks. Two of three pastas were excellent. Third was only ok..
Such a fantastic new arrival to the neighborhood. We had Thanksgiving lunch here and we had this wonderful turkey dish as a special as well as some great seafood dishes. Excellent service, cocktails and wines too!
Best coffee Ive ever had, and I am a big coffee enthusiast. Great brunch, staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Clean your bathroom… it smells like a homeless
Felice Columbus is a must when looking for great pasta on the UWS! Every visit we are met with lovely service, excellent food, knowledgable bartenders, and a nice atmosphere. Dont miss their Ricotta Crostone - fresh ricotta topped with figs, sliced almonds, and spicy honey. Its so tasty I could eat it for breakfast, dinner, or dessert any day! Their pasta dishes shine, all with perfectly al dente pasta and great sauces. Some favorites (pictured below) include the Tonnarelli Cacio E Pepe (perfectly executed), Fusilli Al Ferretto E Burrata (lovely garlicky red sauce), and Ravioli della Casa (that butter and sage sauce is too good!). Were big fans of their wine selection, especially the Etna Bianco and the Super Tuscan.Recently, we hosted a 26-person party in their downstairs event space (with its own bar). The restaurant was a huge hit with all our guests! James Shughart coordinated our event wonderfully, helping us with any questions or requests, including making accomodations for young kids. We had a ton of fun with the staff working our event, and the food was excellent (as always). We would highly recommend Felice Columbus to anyone hoping to hold a celebration on the UWS!
They got cheap and switched from healthy Olive Oil to cheap headache causing unhealthy white whine in their Linguini And Clams and yet they raised the price of their now inedible headache inducing dish!
I am Italian and I cook so I am extremely selective when I eat at Italian restaurants. This restaurant is outstanding! Arancini, even their meatballs, which I never like out! I had pasta with mushrooms and sausage..needed a little more truffle oil, I think they forgot to add.
In a sea of UWS Italian restaurants this place really shines. I have no idea how this doesn’t have thousands of reviews, it’s so excellent
I ordered a salad with salmon, the salmon was very small. They didn’t give any water choice other than still water which costed $11 for a bottle.
Fantastic service and food. Andrea and Rafael always make us feel welcome and right at home
Gorgeous place. Stylish and sophisticated.
Was invited by a friend to lunch here, and thought this was going to be one of those stuck up places with mediocre food on the Upper West Side. Ended up getting pleasantly surprised - although Felice is on the expensive side, the food was both generously portioned and well executed. I devoured the burger, and the fries were so good that I had to take them home even after sharing them with my friend over lunch. We also got the calamari for starters. The only slight hitch was I think some of the staff are new and unfamiliar with the menu, so ordering required a little more exposition than usual. Aside from that, if youre in the neighborhood and looking for a good place to have a meal, Felice wont disappoint.
It was an old school vibe. My pasta was amazing!
Delicious, high quality, fair prices
An excellent restaurant. The bar is is a big one. Lots of seats. Food is excellent, service was decent, better than other spots. Food is pretty good. Not amazing but above status quo.Id dine here again but also while it was a good experience it wasnt that memorable where I would go out of my way to visit again.Worth checking out if nearby though.
Friendly service, good food. Was here a Tuesday evening with my family (incl small kids) and we enjoyed it.
This Felice location is not only absolutely beautiful, perfect for an intimate dinner or large gatherings but the food is superb! The tonnarelli cacio e pepe the best in the city!!
Super delicious. Food is packed and delivered so artistically! Can also be reheated and eaten the next day.
Louis favorite!
Had the most amazing experience at Felice last night. My friend and I came in with no reservation and the Manager, Adrian, found us room at the bar and he made sure we had the best time! The bartenders Danny and Miguel were Great!! Definitely did not disappoint and will be back !! Thank you again Adrian!
Amazing dinner. Perfect for date night!
No small fork for musselsMissing menuNo black olives.A lot of nosNo smileNo brunch items even though they were on outside menu.Small portions..Real bad service
Really average food. Come on, NYC!Noisy. Bustling.
Service is very good. The food is to die for in my opinion. Servents are very friendly and funny. Love the atmosphere.
Delicious & great service
Amazing service, ambiance and delicious food. A great addition to the upper west side neighborhood. I gave my waiter my order (burrata and gf pasta). The bus boy then automatically gave me gf bread without me having to ask! Was truly impeccable service and we were well taken care of with drinks.
I went with a couple of friends to Felice 71 last Friday. The food and drinks were superb! Adrian the new GM was very accommodating and so nice! The waitress Denisa did an amazing job, made our experience there 10x better. She was very well spoken, funny and gave us GREAT recommendations. We will definitely be coming back.
The portions are v tiny, and priceyOrdered salmon salad, came with just 2 inches piece of salmonTasty but overpriced
The appetizers are about the same as the entrees and none of it was very good considering the cost.
Great food and food service. This is one of our favorite neighborhood places, and the food is always great.
Terrific place, really enjoyed the food...great martini as well.
Phenomenal all around. You can tell this place is quality from the bread and olive oil to the handmade pasta and nuanced sauce. Gorgeous.
Peasant food. Cold and bland.
Very nice staff. They have gluten free options. Magnificent wine
Despite a reservation, we were seated 20 minutes past the time we booked, and were met with rolled eyes and irritation from the front of house staff when we brought it up. The food was mediocre at best - pastas overcooked, under sauced, and bland. You can find far superior versions of the same standard Italian menu all over NYC for the same price or less. Felt like a scam.
Very dark. No better than other restaurants a block or two away but more expensive. It was ok
Felicia is a high end Italian restaurant. Great food, drinks, atmosphere and service. Does not disappoint, I’ve been to the downtown location and the west side location is equally elegant and en par. It’s definitely a treat yourself good meal / dining experience.
Love this place! The food, service is just fantastic!
Lovely restaurant, very good meals and service.
It was fine. good service. ordered sausage rigattoni. dont think id order that again.
We where a walk in on a Monday night - everything was great from being hosted till the end of our time there.
Found my new favorite spot! Went there with a friend Sunday night. The place was pretty busy and we decided to sit at a bar. Started off with burrata and prosciutto which was amazing. I had a burger after that which was one of the best burgers Ive ever had. Unfortunately I couldnt finish it up since the portions were pretty big. My companion continued with lasagna which looked so good that I had to try. It tasted heavenly. The drinks and the staff were also amazing. We even met one of the managers Tiana who came in to check on us a couple of times. If I could I would have given them 10 stars! Definitely going back this week!
Love food and wine. Well looked after and the crowd was lovely without being over the top.
Some of the best Italian in the city. Their rose is one of my favorites.
Love this place! My friend Bernie Weiser of 67 Wine suggested I go there with my friends. It was fabulous!
I met friends for drinks at the lower level bar. Good drinks in a cozy space.
I returned to this restaurant on Saturday night for the second time but it was the most terrible experience, the waitresss was cordial although they took time to take the order and there were a lot of people so that happened, the person who brought me the food almost threw it at me and a cold and dirty dish, they didnt give us water either, we ordered again and they never gave us, we had to drink the wine, this was a disaster, I hope not to return to this place and I do not recommend it, choose other options before going here, better restaurants with better attention but the attention is fatal
Great drink selection and a perfect place to hang out and chat. Service was not very responsive even though they were not busy.
Classic Italian spot for something not too complicated but delicious.
Food was just ok. I imagine people go there more for ambiance than the food itself? Outside covered areas looked really nice.Very friendly service.
Had an awesome dinner experience with great service from Dany. This place is such a gem!
I was looking forward to enjoying a diner at Felice on Saturday night. And had made the reservation to decide if this would be the spot for a large group dinner with some out-of-town friends I and my husband are planning in the next few weeks. This would be our first visit to Felice. We arrived about 15 minutes ahead of our 6pm Saturday reservation. I approached the host stand and provided my name and reservation time (I had made the reservation a week earlier thru Resy). In response, the hostess said she did not see any reservation and asked again for my name, and then my phone number. As she flipped thru her tablet I stood by quietly. She again indicated she saw no reservation - at this point I was able to look around the restaurant and saw numerous two-tops empty along with several seats at the bar - I asked if she wanted to see my Resy confirmation, she didnt respond. Thinking she might not have heard me I asked again. Her response was rude, essentially telling me to be quiet while she looked thru her tablet. Another colleague approached and after some discussion, the initial hostess said she had seated someone under my reservation accidentally. Thinking that was the end of it, I said, ok, so can you seat us?. I was again met with silence, and a nasty look from the hostess - mind you this whole exchange took perhaps five minutes. Finally another employee approached and said we have a table for you. We were seated and thought we could enjoy a quiet dinner. After about ten minutes at the table a waitress approached and told us the kitchen couldnt make any hot food, and only cold items (i.e. salads) were available. At this point we just left the restaurant. I normally dont write negative reviews, but this was a horrible experience. The nasty, rude and dismissive behavior of the front of house person was unacceptable, unprofessional and a poor representation of any business. We left the restaurant and spied across the street an old favorite, Polpette 71. We walked in, without a reservation, were warmly welcomed and immediately seated. The staff were gracious and friendly. The food was delicious, and much more favorably priced than Felice. At the end of the meal we made our group reservation at Polpette 71 and are comfortable we and our friends will receive an excellent meal accompanied by great service.Felice should be ashamed of our experience and others should pay heed.
Always busy in a good way, so reservations are key. Occasionally, able to stop in and get a seat at the bar and order food. Design and vibe are curated well, allowing small groups to get together for great food and conversation. Never leave feeling hungry or hoarse from shouting for the past hour.
Such a cute spot. Have been to this location 4x now and haven’t been disappointed. Love coming here closer to the holidays because they add lights inside and it’s a super cozy vibe. Highly recommend!
Delicious food and great environment and service. The whole family loved it.
I was hesitant to try this place but very pleasantly surprised. Reminds me of what Serafina used to be.
Great food and amazing service! Highly recommended
This part of the upper west side has a bunch of identical Italian restaurants, and having been to many of them this is the best. Atmosphere is mostly the same as everywhere else, but the food is really exceptional
We loved the ambience, the truly excellent carbonara. And most of all, the excellent personal service by the bartender. Well definitely be back.
Love the sugarcane harvest mural on the 71 th St side!
High quality food all around. Usually good service. To be totally honest, I suppose the food could be better, like the Bronzino, as well as both chicken dishes, but you’ll have an experience without complaints if you get the right dishes. The steak is very good and the salmon as well, but the main courses in general could use some work to be honest. The appetizers are excellent in my opinion, but I haven’t tried them all. This is a five star because four would be too low. This place isn’t perfect, but it’s better than most restaurants given its finer dining. I would happily eat here every day, which is high praise.
Honestly, I don’t understand why this place is always so busy. Tonight was the second and last time I will ever visit any Felice. The prices are very high considering that the food is barely mediocre. The vegetable soup I ordered reminded me of mushy and bland canned soup. The lasagna was barely warmed through and tasted bitter. My companion ordered the bolognese and could hardly manage to swallow two bites the sauce was so tasteless. Joey our waiter was the one bright spot of a well below average meal that ended up costing over $200.
My last time there the stuff was really good thats why i give 5 Star thanks for the service of Angelica and Johanna 🫶
I enjoyed my fish and everyone was very nice.
Still great place for a nice drink, good food, and chat to the great bar staff.
