Very good Italian restaurant inside The Gild Hotel. The service is very good as is the food. The pastas are cooked to perfection and the wine list compliments the food. The entrees are better than the appetizers. The arancini were tasty but not noteworthy. The calamari was not very good. The salmon entree was delicious.
Nadira - Thank you.Our first visit was a casual lunch where we were blown away by the quality of the food and especially the dessert. Because of that, we went the second time for our 3rd anniversary dinner!Even though the dessert menu changed, the food and vibes still didnt disappoint us. To top it all, Nadira was fab to not just make us comfortable, check if the dessert could be still available but even got a surprise for our anniversary. I havent seen such customer service in many other places. This is one of my go to places now. Will return soon!
Went here for lunch with some coworkers. The staff was professional, attentive, and exceptionally courteous. The branzino was beautifully presented, vibrant with colors, and bursting with an array of different flavors.
Super sweet and caring servers, I went for a birthday dinner and they made sure everything was going well. Overall amazing and beautiful atmosphere. Would definitely go back again.
Husband and I shared two pasta plates— both within the $20-30 range. The pasta was fresh, the sauce was so flavorful. The portions were decent sized and sharing ended up perfect for us. Our waiter was so, so nice and helpful! It’s a dark-ambiance kind of place! Feels fancy for very good prices. They have outdoor seating as well. Would recommend a reservation, we lucked up but we also ate there on a Tuesday evening.
Food seems to be average in taste and presentation. Located inside the Gild hall hotel in the Financial district of NYC. Very close to the WTC, Eaterly and the Westfield mall.Managers are indifferent to customers, and staff not friendly or professional and speak very little English.Window seats are cozy. Woody interior and a little tight interior.Price is moderate for quality and quantity.
Came here and had the prix fixe lunch. The price was reasonable. The panino caprese and bruschetta for me. Pollo con Lattuga e Pomodori meatballs for my husband. The flavours were not that exciting or impressive, but the food and ingredients were very fresh. Nice ambiance. Overall, a cute place
We had a wonderful dining experience at Felice today. The restaurants beautiful and charming space immediately made us feel welcomed. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the dishes truly captured the delicious tastes of Italy. We absolutely loved our time here and highly recommend Felice to anyone looking for an authentic Italian meal.
Went here for the first time for dinner with the family. The place itself is very nice. It has a comfortable low light vibe and I loved it. The food was pretty good. I had the Bolognese and it was decent. The service was top notch stuff. Super attentive staff who were very kind and respectful. I will def be back.
Service was phenomenal, we were seated and served quickly. Cups were never empty. Homemade bread for appetizers was delicious and fresh. Food was very tasty with nice light portions. Dessert was also very enjoyable. Restaurant atmosphere is very nice and clean, location is kind of difficult to get too with a lot of construction going on nearby.
We sat upstairs and enjoyed the arancini, the ricotta toast with honey and figs and the Milanese. They offer plenty of wines which are stored in shelves around and behind where the tables are.We had to wait a little time for a table but overall wasnt too bad.We considered a dessert at the end but had no room!
This is a nice cozy spot with delicious food. I’ve been here many times and basically tasted everything on the menu. The food is Divine !! Try this place if you’re down town.
Was staying at the Gild Hall so decided to try the food here!Seating was busy but quick, and service was fairly fast too. Ordered the fettuccini with veal ragu and some crispy brussels sprouts with bacon. The pasta was great, although it was more traditional Italian in terms of serving size: 100g flour and 1 egg = one person. Meaning that the pasta COULD be used as your only entree but you really should be ordering it plus something else. The brussels sprouts were very crispy, I would say almost a bit too crispy for my liking. Decent but I think there are some better side choices out there.Tiramisu was good, not as strong as I had in some other places, but a decent contender. Overall it was above average but nothing that made me close my eyes and remember my recent trip to Italy. But the service was friendly, quick, and the pasta tasted very fresh. Would likely return. $55 or so for a sparkling clementine soda, pasta, brussels sprouts and tiramisu for dessert. This place also is part of Thompson Gild Hall and therefore Hyatt, so charge to your room and enjoy the 5+ Hyatt points per dollar of spend! EDIT: spending here does not count for WOH base points, but you’ll still get 4 points with the WOH cc if you charge to the room. I’ve lowered my rating from 4 (meets expectations for price) to 3.5 (slightly overpriced for expectations)
Amazing Cacio E Pepe. Service was perfect. The seating area has red leather couches on one side of the table and that adds to the atmosphere. If you are ever at the NYSE the restaurant is within walking distance.
Excellent dinner. Great quality food. I ate raviollis, which I really enjoyed, delicious!!!Parpadelle with beef ragu was also excellent, as was the spaghetti bolognese.Everythings good.
Food and service were great. However due to outdoor seating, we will not be returning. The heat lamp that was provided were not nearly strong enough to keep me and my friend warm during dinner. We were frozen by the time we finished dinner. The restaurant owner should invest in stronger heating lamps, which I’ve experienced at other outdoor dining. I passed by Felice today and saw that they provided a roofed/insulated tent for one table with a small heat lamp on the floor... wonder if that kept the table warm.
What a beauty! Cozy vibes and beautiful atmosphere just made all my exhaustion go away. .
When here for an anniversary and it was great. Not too pricey and awesome food. Can be a little loud but if you sit by the window it is nice for people or dog watching. Arancini are a must!
This place is deceptively huge! The upper floor is beautiful and feels so comfortable and spacious. We had a great time here and the food was EXCELLENT with big portions. The burrata and prosciutto was so tasty and came with so much prosciutto!
My mind is blown as to how much this quality of this place has declined. I’ve lived at 2 Gold, right across the street from this place for 12 years. I went to this spot everyyyy day throughout Covid. I was always a regular, knew all the staff. Today I paid $18 for dessert! A dessert that is wildy small. It looks like their standard dessert was cut in half!!! And then served!! I paid crazy amounts of money at restaurants, without a thought, because it’s worth it!! This is CRAZYYYYY. I’m shocked. I took 4 looks in awe at this dessert before deciding to write this review. I stopped coming daily about a year ago, after the staff treated me incredibly rude like I didn’t just support their business for the past year of Covid. But now this?! Even their sister restaurant, which serves the exact same dessert, gives you a portion worth $18. This location is for the birds I tell you!!
Dont miss restaurant week!Zuppa is a nice starter to get into the mood. The Salmon whey Farro salad and the tiramisù are delicious!Energetic atmosphere even on a monday. Local crowd mmixes with trendy hotel guests.Good variety of dishes, including a delicious quinoa bowl - add chciken!Friendly-feel-at-home serviceBreakfast : another story. If you are there for breakfast, the crostone is a goos variation on the avocado toast, but there is little consistency, and the eggs is rarely well poached, hard boiled at times. You dont have to be in a rush, even to get some coffee might take a good chunk of time.
This little place is as perfect as perfect gets. The food here is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is absolutely perfect. If you are in the area and looking for a quaint little place to dine with your friends, this place definitely fits the bill. Bring your wallet because the food is not inexpensive here, but I didnt find it overly priced either.
Hearty Italian dishes but the portions can be hefty which is of great value. Lasagna was indulgently good. Service can be better with more training and familiarity as the server seemed new. She was nice though. Cozy neighborhood spot.
Ordered a chefs omelette with bacon, Parmesan reggiano and fresh greens on the side. Also, a yogurt parfait with mixed berries. Good tasting food and decent quality that wasn’t so heavy and is a good way to start the morning
Some of the best italian food i have had in NYC. Very well priced and the Salmon Tartar, Bruschetta and the Cacio e Peppe is unbelievable
Nice atmosphere. Seating was a little cramped. Our waiter was very pleasant and attentive. My pasta was ok, but my partner loved his dish! Took tiramisu to go - it was really good! Not the best Italian Ive had, but it was still pretty good and overall the experience was nice.
Management in this place just sucks, me and my husband went for dinner to this place, in the middle of the dinner the manager came and said “sorry but this’s a family place so you guys need to separate” just bc we were next to each other and my arm was on his neck, we were doing NOTHING, he basically said we were not suitable for a family place, like ???, we’re adults, we know how to behave in a public place, he just ruined our moment, if you’re a manager you need to know when and how say certain things
Nice people, good service, nice environment and the BEST FRENCH TOAST. Recommend the wine from Italian. Summer is good for dining outside. However , I prefer the inside better since there’s a large trash spot right across the street.
Had a wonderful Birthday dinner here tonight for a good friend. The host was fantastic and so lovely when we requested a larger table for three. Service was top notch from our wait staff and we loved everything we ordered from the eggplant parmesan to the calamari to the chicken milanese to our pastas. Lovely atmosphere although the restaurant is kept very dark on the first level. Highly recommended!
Very chic Italian restaurant at the Gild hotel. Great appetizers and cocktails. Friendly staff. Ill definitely go back if I stay at the hotel again.
This is the seafood pasta at 28 bucks.Seriously???? Where is the seafood???We also ordered octopus appetizer also at 28 that had a tiny one tentacle. Ive never been to a restaurant where I ordered a full 3 course meal and left hungry.
This restaurant really blew our mind (me and my wife) away. the quality of the food (freshness, flavor and decor) is superb, the service surpassed expectations (Beth our server, Monday evening shift outside). The atmosphere very classic yet elegant makes a perfect balance to enjoy your meal and drinks, me being in the industry F&B understand better what all those details mean to customers. Next time in New York I will definitely visit and our nice server informed us about the opening in Miami Beach where we reside. I cant wait for. Thank you so much and keep doing what youre doing.
Food was good, place was easy to find, nicely lit and standard table sizes. Clean restroom with sufficient toilet paper and paper towels. I would return if I’m in the area. Great for nice dinner date and good glass of wine.I don’t think this type of establishment is good for something quick fast but the wait was not long. Two main courses, appetizer and two glasses of wine ran us about 150 including a 20% tip.
Delicious! Our waiter was amazing and the experience was fantastic!
I’ve been at Felice while on a business trip to NY and unlike (too) many Italian restaurants in Manhattan Felice really serves authentic Italian food, with an incredibly responsive service.
Excellent gluten free Italian food in the Financial District! The Melanzane alla Parmigiana as an appetizer is one of the highlights of their menu alongside the stellar Bruschetta on gluten free bread. Their best pastas (which they can serve with gluten free penne) include the Pappardelle con Salsiccia and the Tonnarelli Alla Carbonara. They have a decent wine selection and, based on the prices per glass, would recommend you get a bottle.
I had dinner at Felice on a Thursday night with some family visiting from out of town. We had a great dinner and experience with Felice. The atmosphere is, at least in my opinion, what you would hope for in an Italian restaurant in Lower Manhattan. The food was great and the staff was courteous. The staff seemed to go above and beyond to make us feel welcome and invited us back as if I had been a regular at the restaurant for many years. This is exactly the type of service that gets you to go back...and guess what, Im really looking forward to going again! They also have a very nice, quaint bar inside. The bar is small but inviting. Im Happy to say I had a great experience at Felice.
Amazing boutique Italian restaurant with GF option for almost everything!GF bread, GF pasta, amazing experience and great service!!!
Lovely restaurant. The vegetable bean soup was warming and yummy. The salmon pasta was perfectly al dente. The branzino was also pretty good. They put bacon in the brussel sprouts which caught us by surprise. Great service.
Nice ambiance and location. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Expected a bit more from the food but still overall great experience!
Peter was an excellent host. So kind and so good at doing his job we really enjoyed the food.
Me and my mom went here and it was super good. We went for brunch, I got the French Toast and it was to DIE for. I enjoyed it so much with the maple syrup. My mother got the Cacio e Pepe pasta, it was good but the noodles were a little too hard. Regardless, there was no issues with our food whatsoever. The place is beautiful, small and very vibrant and cozy. Very respectful waiters as well.
We would come here for breakfast while in New York visiting family! The food is delicious, I wish we had found out sooner about Felice so we could enjoy a dinner there. Looks like the next time we are in New York we will have to stop in for dinner! Highly recommend!
Great food. Great service. Good value. Give this place a try. You wont regret it. The olive oil (which the owners make) is worth it alone.
Perfect French toast that delights the taste buds.
One of the best restaurant I’ve ever been! The place was so welcoming and their carbonara was perfect.
Food was very good but the management and certain staff members were extremely rude. Never been treated so poorly in a restaurant ever. They accused my boyfriend of being too intoxicated after only one drink. Management handled the situation poorly; claimed WE were making the situation too personal despite only looking for answers. Genuinely the craziest customer service Ive ever experienced - no logic. Managed to ruin what should have been a lovely anniversary. Compliments to the chef still.
Given how many Italian restaurants there are in New York - and many of them ok but not great - this is a a standout. Since there are several locations I was a bit skeptical, but I was impressed. The food was very good and the service was excellent. It is also a lovely environment and atmosphere. Will definitely go back next time I am in New York!
Close and cozy eating quarters with romantic lighting. We sat at a table for 2 near a large window, perfect for people watching. Friendly service, quick too. We went a little before 6pm on a Saturday. Pricing is what you would expect at a NYC Italian restaurant, overpriced. Food was vey tasty regardless. Ordered Chicken Milanese, Tagliata di manzo with potatoes, Crostone Ricotta, and lemon cake.
The octopus was far from good, tasted like rubber… Have been to this place a few times before, had a better impression about food. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice too.
This is one of the best Italian restaurants i’ve ever been too! The staff was so nice, the food was amazing and came out fast. The pasta was fresh and cooked to perfection. The night before my friends and I had had a bad experience at another Italian restaurant in the area but, coming here, we didn’t have one issue. I love this restaurant and will be coming here again!
We had a nice dinner here and enjoyed the pleasant ambiance inside. The food was delicious, especially the Bruschetta. All the staff were friendly and polite. Many thanks to Nadira and Fidan for their hospitality and excellent service. Their sincere welcome and outstanding service made all the difference.
I had such a great experience here at Felice 15. The host, waiters, and staff were incredibly kind and professional. The food was also so delicious! It is a great place to take your special someone on a date too! We had incredible service from our waiter Bertin and look forward to return in the future. They have one of the best Italian wine selections i have seen before.
Food is horrible. Inside ambience is good. Outside ambience includes rats running on streets (about which obviously the restaurant cannot do much). I have never had Bruschetta as bad as they served. It is not fresh. Gnocchi was decent, not out of the box. Definitely not worth the price you pay.
Very delicious!
One of the better Italian places in FidiOverall quality is good, with good service. Will keep going back
The highest praise I can give: They made a regular out of me in a single visit. Food, perfection. Service, exceptional. Carlos especially made my whole experience—grazie mille for taking such good care of me and personally remembering me ❤️ Ill see you when Im back again in 2 weeks!
Love Felices cozy dining room and quiet but lively vibe. The bar area has a nice happy hour every day from 4-6 thats perfect for a light snack and a glass of wine.
The food here was outstanding! I had the tonnarelli pasta and it was so good I went back the next day and had it for lunch. The atmosphere is very relaxed, intimate, and cozy. I had great service (even after I broke my glass) and I would definitely consider this place one of the best Italian restaurants in town!
Got dinner here with my fiance the other day and it was wonderful! Food was amazing, service was fast and the waiter was very attentive.
Cute place on financial district area. Food arrived very quick after we ordered . I had the salmon pasta which was ok. The cheese cake dessert was good.
So lovely when you stumble upon a great restaurant. I came here with a coworker and was so pleased. Medium sized dining room and we sat at the bar. Great service very attentive wonderful menu suggestions. Everything was delicious from the bread they placed on the table even the olive oil was delicious. I had one of the best bowls of minestrone ever and then the pappardelle with sausage. Absolutely delicious!
NYC is known for many things, and fine dining is one of them. There are many great restaurants, but I think I found a gem!!! Visiting my daughter in the city, I was craving Italian foods, so we found this boutique-like restaurant near her place, and boy, it was super!!! We ordered the Linguine alle Vongole, which was clam pasta in white wine sauce, Branzino al Cartoccio(sea bass), and Tagliata di Manzo(steak). They were all superb!!! But, if I really had to pick one, my favorite was the Prime Sirloin steak!!! And of course, to top it all off, a slice of Tiramisu was incredibly delicious 😋 . We didnt order the appetizers, because we knew we would order 3 main dishes.... the price was very reasonable, a little less than $200(including tips)for two of us, without any wines, just a bottle of still water 💧 Lastly, the service was outstanding as well!!!
I will be thinking about the papardelle salsciccia for a very long time. It’s perfect!
Terrible and expensive culinary experience. Only the service from the waiters was good. I wouldn’t go back even for free 😞.
Lovely cozy Italian place. Brunch was great (comes with a drink), but the pasta even better. Wait staff is very nice & professional. Interior design is elegant & beautiful. Food is amazing & worth the price imo
Fantastic experience. Staff was extremely nice and on top of taking care of us. I had the Gnocchi and it was exquisite. Drinks stayed refilled and food was out promptly. Really relaxed and elegant atmosphere. Would come back again for sure.
The food here was awesome so does the services. My friends and I love Italian food and we enjoyed our time here! It’s a bit dark so the food in the photos may not look so delicious but they were!! The price was also reasonable. Highly recommended.
I recently dined at Felice 15 Gold and unfortunately, I must say that my experience left much to be desired. While the interior of the restaurant is undeniably cozy and beautiful, I found several aspects of my visit to be rather disappointing. Therefore, I am giving this restaurant a two-star rating.🪑First and foremost, the seating arrangements were quite uncomfortable. The tables and chairs were small, and to make matters worse, they were placed very close together. This lack of space made it difficult to fully enjoy my meal and have private conversations without feeling cramped.⏰Additionally, I was disappointed with the service at Felice 15 Gold. Despite there being only two other occupied tables in the restaurant during my visit on a Sunday afternoon, it took an excessively long time for our food to be prepared and brought to the table. This prolonged wait was frustrating, especially considering the limited number of patrons.🍝As for the food itself, it was a mixed bag. While the main pasta dish we ordered was decent, I couldnt overlook the disappointing starter, the Tuna tartare. 🤢The tuna had a strong, unpleasant fishy taste and did not seem fresh at all. In fact, after just one bite, my dining companions and I decided to discard the dish and cancel it. It was an unfortunate and off-putting start to the meal.📝On a positive note, I must commend the waitress for her pleasant demeanor and helpfulness throughout our meal. She was attentive and accommodating, which somewhat alleviated the overall dissatisfaction caused by other aspects of our dining experience.😔In conclusion, my visit to Felice 15 Gold was far from enjoyable. Uncomfortable seating, excessively long waiting times, and a subpar starter tainted the experience. Although the main pasta dish was satisfactory, it was overshadowed by the disappointments. Furthermore, the prices seemed somewhat inflated considering the overall quality. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience.
Fabulous all around, 5/5. The staff was great, the food was soooo delicious and the athmosphere was great. Highly recommend.
Perfect spot in the financial district. Cozy place, good food and excellent service. Theres a waiter named Peter who definitely knows how to recommend a good wine!
Great service. Good Italian cuisine. Accommodations can be a bit tight. Intimate for a date night, but you’ll struggle to make room for everything at a table for four.
Equal parts of quaint yet polished, stunning yet simple food, delivered with an unpretentious yet gentle service.Lighting on point, location accessible yet whimsical - underrated and understated.Shhh - don’t tell anyone - Five Stars ⭐️
I decided to come here after a conference because of the pretzel croissant/smoked salmon plate for brunch. This delicious meal was accompanied by a Bellini (or mimosa)....and the wine list is fabulous! The staff was beyond helpful, but still let me enjoy some alone time...and I remember the seating was super comfy. The huge windows let in so much, gorgeous natural light.Id definitely go back!
One of my favorite breakfast, lunch and dinner spots in the Financial District. Great food and excellent service. Fresh bread and pasta. Authentic Italian entrees. Best sit-down lunch value in the neighborhood.
Our favorite authentic ITALIAN food in south street seas port. We are never disappointed. Always in the city and so many choices. Can’t go wrong coming here. The cacao we Pepe is amazing and the eggplant app is AMAZING. Best eggplant ever.
Fine Italian dining $$$. I had a glass of Pinot Nero medium body and it was delicious. I had the Lasagna Traditional with veal ragu and it did not disappoint, perfect portion. I followed it with a more medium pinot Nero house wine, stronger but just as delicious. The rustic bread and olive oil were a perfect pre dinner snack. $18 for each wine $28 for food plus 20% tip. The place is elegant. I choose to sit outside.
The best pasta I’ve hadAttentive service and fabulous food
Great breakfast - love the polenta carbonara.
The food was amazing. The grilled octopus was to die for since it was so soft and not chewy at all which was paired with capers potatoes and cherry tomatoes. Then we had the sea bass whish was so tender and juicy 😋 grilled to perfection with potatoes olives and cherry tomatoes in a wine sauce with cherry tomatoes. We also had lobster and spaghetti that needed nothing else because whatever sauce it had paired with cherry tomatoes and sweet peas. To top it off we had Tiramisu 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋 You have to go here if you live authentic Italian food. I cant wait to get back there again 😋
Peter was our server last Saturday night and went above and beyond for our special anniversary dinner. It was our first time in NYC and everyone was just so nice to us.
In NYC for the 5 Boro bike tour, we had a wonderful time at Felice on Gold St. The food was excellent but it was the waiters and staff which made the meal memorable. My niece has a gluten allergy, and the waiter made sure that she was provided with some gluten free bread to accompany her meal.
This place is amazing. I love how it looks inside the decor makes it cozy but trendy. The food was incredible. We ordered several meals and enjoyed every bit. The staff was very well trained and professional. Our waiter was also very thoughtful. It was our friends birthday and he picked up on it from the conversation so he brought a creen brûlée with a candle on it. Amazing service! I would highly recommend going here.
One of the best meals I have had in NYC. Fantastic service, wine is always refilled, attention is given. Awesome spot for a date - seat by the window is the best. Food is exquisite and not overpriced. You get what you pay for.
Bad, just bad. Made a 7:45 reservation for our 29th anniversary, and requested a booth. Showed up 10 minutes early and were obviously a surprise to them, although they acknowledged our reservation. Suggested we wait in the bar for just a minute. A half an hour later the hostess came and offered us one of those cramped bar tables, you know, like you have to sit at when McDonalds is busy. We declined. She said we could wait for another bar area table that at least was a little more secluded. We said well wait. 15 minutes later we left after paying our bar bill. Sorry I cannot comment on the quality of the food since I never had a chance to try it. However, the menu was pricey which I expect with a top notch restaurant with top notch service. It aint there, keep walking.
Service was very slow. Cocktail was excellent. I asked for “seltzer not Pellegrino” and was served Pellegrino. Ricotta appetizer was outstanding. Ordered the pasta special, multiple bones were in it and it was not flavorful. No salt on the table to help with that. At $27/plate, very disappointing.
Pretty good dishes and attentive service.
Welcoming & demure ambiance, bar seating, red wine, an amazing burger and perfectly crisp fries keep me coming back.. happy hour specials are the cherries on top. Cheers.
Excellent late night dinner in NYC. Nicest people at this restaurant, could not be more accommodating. Gluten free sensitive, with excellent GF pasta. Also brought over GF bread, as a nice surprise! My chicken Milanese, not GF, was excellent. Thank you :)!
Solid offering by Felice and a surprise being in a hotel lobby. We mostly had breakfasts here and we enjoyed what we ate. There are various options with a bit of a latino twist. Coffee and Tea is decent and the service good. Portions are good without being overbearing. There are a couple of interesting off beat options on the menu and I encourage you to try them.
The food here was very good but a bit pricy for what it was. Had a good wine list but wines by the glass were expensive - $14-16. We split the fried artichoke appetizer which was good but had some weird mint leaves on top that didnt go with the dish. Both of our pasta main courses were very good - cacio e pepe and I had a special.
This was an absolutely amazing Italian restaurant. The service was excellent. The server was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. The prices were very reasonable, and the food is fantastic. Everything was fresh and homemade. It was a great experience.
A great appetizer is supposed to set the tone for the rest of the meal. I can only speak for Restaurant Week & the first course was wonderful, the main fish course was not so great, dessert (a tiramisu) was nice but not lip-smacking. Service was very slow but still polite. I saw too many unpleasant emotions on the hostesss face as she walked around. It was an okay experience. Décor is cool with interesting lamps.
Ill start of with the bad things since there werent too many.1. It took over 30 minutes to get out entrees, even though we were able to be seated immediately without a reservation and the place was not packed.2. The food tasted good, but was far from the best Italian weve had here.3. Nothing to see really unless you get sit on the side with the TVs.4. Dishes were very expensive. A pasta dish will run you on average $25.The pros:1. Food did taste good, just not the best.2. Our water was refilled every minute it seemed.3. Cocktails were great.4. Manager of the place joked around with us and checked on us a few times.Overall the place is great, but compared to Eataly which is just a 5 minute walk away it just cant compare unfortunately. Still a nice spot to go to.
Love this place. Delicious Italian food, great wine list, sexy/romantic ambiance, and decent prices. Grazie!
Restaurant Week. (Supposedly).First, they didn’t mention it, or offer a menu. I asked, and they appeared disgusted but reluctantly gave me one. Then, just good for measure I asked how much it was for the lunch (menu didn’t say, of course) and he said $35 instead of $30.Seriously? Why even participate if you’re going to give such disdain? Sad.
We only had breakfast but it was superb. My boy had french toast which he rated. The coffee was great. I had the avocado toast which was a big slice of sourdough and a ton of avocado and two poached eggs which heaved yolk all over the toast. So good. I should have made a movie instead of just the pic. Cant wait to try other meals here. Highly recommend.
Excellent service, delicious food, and server Pellumb was the best!
Great food--far better than one normally expects from a hotel restaurant. I had the gnudi special with lashings of truffles and my wife had the cacio e pepe. Both were excellent. The beef tartare was unusual, with lots of anchovies, but we both loved it!We live nearby, so well definitely be back.
Terrible service. Hostess had to take my order because the waiter did not return for 20 minutes bc he got busy with a big party right next to me. Waiter continued to ignore me throughout my meal while he gave the large party top service.Seating was tight. Hostess had to ask one person from the large party to get his arm off of my table!Beautiful fresh fish was ruined by too many flavors.Overall one of the most poor experiences I’ve had dining in NY.
Treated here today for New Year lunch. The food and service were excellent, as usual. The $29 Prix Fixe lunch menu was varied enough to please all six of us. I started with the mussels in an awesome fresh tomato and garlic sauce, the mussels were tender and there was plenty of toasted bread to get all the sauce. Followed with pappardelle with sausage and crimini mushrooms and finished with a couple scoops of cool, light, melt in your mouth lemon gelato...great way to start the week.
🍝 nice and romantic place to eat a delicious pasta. We had the gnocchi and the tortellini with ragú.👍🏼 they offer an executive menu for $28 includes an entrée and main course.🤑 prices are ok. The service is good but I had a better experience in the Felice located in Midtown.
It was alright but a little disappointing. I went here for a work lunch where everyone had pasta and alcohol-free beverages (boring) and the check was approximately $30/person including tip. The pasta was meh, a little too al dente and a little cold. Perhaps for dinner or a finer multi-course dining experience this place may be fantastic but for a casual moderate single-course work lunch it was the wrong place to go and overpriced.
Atmosphere is great for those looking for a place to go out on a date. Food was very tasty and flavored perfectly. Service was fairly fast. Definitely recommend reservations during peak hours.
Amazing. One of my top 5 Italian restaurants in the past 10 years. From appetizer to dessert, flawless cuisine. Some of the very best cacio e people have ever had. Bravo!!!!
Pasta was amazing, but the tiramisu was unfortunately average.
Great food at the bar for their Happy hours , then i had with my friends the Restaurant Week Good wine list ! Very elegant place but small .: Reservation made for Restaurant week .. you show up coming from far and they tell you that is over ... What a joke .Customer service is less than Zero !
Delicious Italian food and very good service!
Delicious and authentic Italian food in FiDi. The staff is (also authentic, most are Italian) really nice and helpful. The risotto and shrimp pasta are delicious.
Mostly traditional Italian dinner menu, very well executed, in a comfortable, private ambiance. Respectable wine list. Pricey, but probably worth it.
Great restaurant. Went there with colleagues. Nice ambience. Delicious food. Had great Tiramisu for dessert. Highly recommended.
This is my go to Italian place in FiDi. Ive tried a bunch of things from the menu at this point that I would recommend: any of the pastas, tagliatelle, linguine, gnocchi, meats etc. Their veal appetizer, arancini , mussels and insalata di Mare are all excellent appetizers. Great wine options and quality desserts. Also the location in the Thomson hotel is quite elegant
Awful hygiene, awful service for 3 reasons:**Felice vendor location at Timeout Market**- The 2 girls serving. 1 in charge of transactions, held the whole line (12 people deep) for 10minutes because she messed up the orders and couldn’t organise what meal matched what ticket. The other girl who I assume helps the chefs, stomps around and moves quickly but actually doesn’t do anything. She had the worst customer service and hygiene, I would compare to a moody teenager.- The above mentioned moody teenager, bites her fingers constantly, then uses those said fingers to sprinkle cheese on peoples meals. I watched in disbelief.- For a takeaway vendor, meals are fast. My 1 pasta meal, with no meat. Took 35 minutes. The moody teenager with the hygiene issue told me at 19 minutes it would be 4 more minutes which is fine, but it ended up being 35 minutes total. When I asked why it’s taking longer, the response I got was ‘the kitchen got messed up’. Then when I saw the moody teenager with the hygiene issue put my food together, she forgot the burrata added to my meal that I had paid extra for. If I hadn’t watched the process, I would’ve walked away with part missing. When i had told her to check the burrata was there, the moody teenager didn’t respond, just stormed off to add it.... really odd considering she made a mistake. When she gave me the food she just pushed it at me without eye contact. The food itself was good. But for the experience I went through, I wouldn’t go again. I don’t usually leave reviews and I left it till the next day and it’s still bothering me so I’m leaving this now. Ultimately, I hope these girls get customer service and hygiene training.
My favorite place! Very atmospheric.
Came here for restaurant week and ended up not getting the deal. I calculated the normal prices of each of the items on the restaurant week menu and it wasnt a deal at all. It was like a dollar cheaper. So we ordered regular pastas and my God it was so subpar. $17 for spaghetti. Never again.
Italian dinner and beautiful drinksSuch a warm and comfortable space with perfectly done food and balanced cocktails
Our go to place in FiDi, great Italian/Tuscan restaurant, very cozy and elegant. Everything we tried we liked. Friendly service, knowledgeable too, and great wine list, my favorite Italian wines included
We stayed at the Gild Hall several days recently and had a great experience. Cool hotel and we had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant our first night back in the city.
Lunch special needs to be taken off the menu. They don’t accommodate people who actually have lunch schedules for the time frame. The service was horrible and people who came in after me received their food before my table unacceptable. This location needs better service not worth the money if the service is bad.
Kind and fast service, excellent breakfast and cozy atmosphere.
Had an amazing experience! I was in NY for a week, and this restaurant didnt disappoint! I Would definitely come back again.
Amazing restaurant! Food is delicious for a very reasonable price, great service and the place is beautiful! One of my favorite italian restaurants in NYC. Not to mention the great outdoor dining environment they have now with COVID!
It was perfect. The service, exceptional. The food tasted awesome!!! But that dessert was out of this world.
Delicious and authentic Italian food and drink, quintessential New York cozy restaurant atmosphere, wonderful service and a rustic and modern interior. I dont know what more anyone could ask for in this place. Looking forward to returning on my next trip to NYC.
The best neighborhood Italian south of Canal Street. Food thats creative without being insistent, its welcoming and reliably memorable.
Exquisite italian cuisine in the heart of Little Italy. I was visiting New York for the week just to explore, I never really planned to go out to eat at a restaurant this nice it was just random. I had the Lasagna Classica made with Veal sauce and a spinach based pasta and a glass of Moscato. Feels like your actually in Italy the way the inside is set up and all the employees are speaking Italian.
Dropped in for an early dinner. We (two people) were greeted at the door and seated immediately. The atmosphere and ambiance made us want to stay and enjoy our food. The staff were able to recommend wine and food/dessert pairing. We had an appetizer, in addition to the bread that was severed, two glasses of wine, both had pasta, and one dessert with a machiato. We paid just over $140, which was worth the price of food and experience. Definitely would recommend eating here.
Great food and pasta!Their salmon rigatoni is really good, definitely a good choice in the FIDI.
This establishment is a must go for anyone visiting the area. My partner and I visited Felice and were truly amazed by the service and quality of the food. We were greeted by Peter at the door and he ended up being our waiter. I just cant recommend this place enough! Amazing!
Really nice restaurant tucked away in the financial district. The fettuccine in Bolognese was wonderful. Great by the Glass wine selection. Great service. Cosy atmosphere.
Great for breakfast with great service. We dined there twice when in New York, both times at breakfast. Will visit again next time when in NY.
The space is sumptuous. Gorgeous wood tones and dark but just enough light for the tables -- very romantic and stylish. The food is also excellent.
Solid brunch in fidi. Hashbrowns were cooked in a coconut oil which was different, just not what I expected. Omelet was pretty standard could have used a bit more mixture of cheese and some veggies. Bellini and mimosas were yummy and refreshing
Felice is a hidden gem in the Financial District. One of lower Manhattans best Italian restaurants hidden in the bottom of a lovely hotel.Definitely try the arancini bites and brussel sprouts if you enjoy those things. Id also highly reccommend the meat and seafood as the chef does an exquisite job.Dont forget to save room for a gelato after dinner.
This place is fabulous! People were warm and friendly and really do not miss an opportunity to serve. Food was prepared to perfection and delicious from the first bite to the very last.
Went early and fast service. Rucola artichoke salad, spaghetti carbonara, and bruschetta. Special of the day two sea bass filets over spinach.
Got the Bolognese and carbonara. They were both some of the best Ive had in a long time. Definitely recommend
Place is solid. Great food and love the fact most of the staff is from Italy. They really provide great service. Wine list is good too.
I have to say that I had high expectations from this restaurant but I was pretty disappointed. I ordered the lasagna classica, and well, I would not call it classic. The portion was very small and I still couldnt finish it because it didnt taste good at all, it was very bland. Even salt was not placed on the table. The chili vanilla cocktail was fine. For dessert I had the chocolate hazelnut mousse cake, it was not bad, a little bit too sweet. I would say for two people to share, it would be great. The staff was kind and professional. I would not come back since I didnt enjoy the food and the food is overpriced.
Terrific ambiance, and the food is deliciously authentic Italian cuisine. The service, while by no means bad, isnt as on point as one might expect.
Pasta is great! Truffle mushroom gnocchi’s seasoning is overwhelming though. Still deserves 5 stars for the quality and service.
We split an excellent pasta special as a first course, my wife had sea bass which was very good. It was served with a side of pesto which was too salty, inedible. I had chicken which was served with a mound of salad on top, not quite what I expected but good. Service was good, friendly, not intrusive. Seemed a little pricey
The restaurant is perfect for a romantic celebration with your partner. The dimmed lights and the candles create the right environment for romance. The food, Italian, is good but not the best you can have. The first day I tried the frutti de mare pasta and the second day the stake. I have to say that the flavor was great and the stake was juicy and soft.
Amazing place.
Hostess was very friendly. Great calamari. Desserts were awesome. But we should have skipped the pasta dishes.
Delicious pastas and the wines are good too. Like the atmosphere. Good choice in the neighborhood.
Very good food and top customer service combined with a nice atmosphere.Great Burratta
One best Italian restaurants in town. Highly recommendGreat Calcio e Pepe and a awesome Tiramisu.
I was out with my girlfriend for a romantic afternoon dinner at Felice and the outdoor setting, service, and food were all incredible. Definitely recommend and will be coming back again!
The staff is very professional and friendly. The food is very good, fresh ingredients and well-balanced recipes. It feels like being in Italy.
Favorite Italian restaurant in FiDi (I am an Italian myself). Great menu, staff friendly, very nice ambiance, equitably priced. Highly recommended.
Great gluten free options! The service staff was also very knowledgeable about the menu and helped me select my food options. I came here for a work lunch and everyone remarked how much they liked what they chose to eat. I had the gluten free cacio e Pepe and it was delicious!
Great spot. Good ambience. Classic Italian food done the right way. Delicious, but didnt blow me away.
Amazing restaurant, perfect for a date night! Good selection of cocktails and wine, service was quick. Short rib Chiantiagna was tender and juicy, flavor was great! If the smoked burrata special is available, make sure to get it as well!
Great service and the food is decent, but definitely not worth the price. Not a bad restaurant but in the given price range you can do much better.
So. Freaking. Good. Highly recommend this place. Delicious food and lovely atmosphere. The staff is super friendly as well. Reasonably priced.
The service was very slow, the pasta was box pasta and the dishes were bland. I used to like this place, but it has gone downhill.
Great atmosphere, delicious pasta, and overall great place for Italian food.
Nice interior, the Uova al Piatto (baked eggs in tomato sauce) that I had for breakfast was amazing, and the service was a good balance between welcoming and understated.
Excellent service, food and ambiance, will come back for sure. Amazing real italian restaurant!
A new favorite!! Excellent service, food, wine!! DO NOT MISS Showing up here!!
Great hamburger and fries! The burger was juicy and tender!
The service wasnt great; we were greeted by a very grumpy lady at the door. The waiters kept ignoring us (wasn’t busy at all), and we had to wave and signal them multiple times to take our orders. Even though they clearly saw us asking for assistance, they pretended not to acknowledge us. The person who took our order was somewhat rude. We came to this restaurant hoping for better service and spectacular food, but we didnt receive either. It wouldnt hurt to greet and serve your customers with a better attitude and a smile. I would never return. The food was meh!
The best service and foods. Highly recommended
This is a cute bar/restaurant. The manager, Katie, is wonderful. Drinks are great, but food could use a little improvement
Wonderful place! The wines are delicious and the food is just wonderful. The best place to try out and enjoy yourself!
I had a nice romantic dinner with my wife everything was perfect and the food and the atmosphere .and the most important was the welcome smile from the manager and the rest of the stuff.
Impeccable service and delicious food. Only problem was the broken AC on the south section. Despite that, I would definitely recommend.
Great atmosphere and very good pastas. A little on the pricey side for drinks/wine.
Excellent wine selection, and the arancini are to die for !! Great food and atmosphere. Its small, so its a bit close when dining.
So accommodating to my gluten and soy allergy!! The scallops were incredible and our pastas were perfect. The brought me gluten free bread without my having to ask and multiple different servers brought out my food, acknowledging it was gluten free.
Food was meh but service was great
5 words: YOU GOTTA HAVE THEIR TRUFFLE
Flavorful food, friendly service. I think I went overboard by ordering dessert but it was so good.
Better place for office lunch meetings, great service
Really cozy date night spot
Excellent restaurant that happens to be located next to a great boutique hotel. Made my stay in NYC even better.
Italian food in a low key ambiance.
People in my group liked the place better than me. Food was ok in my view, the martini was great.
Great service. Amazing food and good portion sizes. A little heavy on the wallet though
Everything was great☺️, but we ordered the desert - tiramisu and it was frozen 😔
Went here for my birthday and no complaints at all. food was really good and service was amazing. the place itself is also very pretty !!
Great atmosphere and very authentic. Our waiter even had a conversation in Italian with my friend.
Excellent fine dining Italian food. Great for corporate events or dinner dates.
This is the restaurant at the Gild Hall hotel. We had breakfast here because it came with our booking (not generally the case I think). Perhaps dinner is nicer. The restaurant itself is a bit more cramped than I would prefer and the breakfast options were... Memorably disappointing. The bar/happy hour is much better. I wish I could give two completely different star ratings. But I dont think I would plan to visit for dinner based on the experience of breakfast. Perhaps that isnt fair exactly, but there are many options.
Ambience was great, the pasta was AMAZING and they had gluten free options! Go for the pasta arribiata!
Really delicious, loved the cacio e pepe and the octopus salad was delicious!
Our meal was delicious and so was the wine! Our waitress was so kind and helpful. We would definitely come back again if in the area!
Good food, atmosphere and service. Funky vibe and location. Good menu variety.
Food was amazing. Service and atmosphere up to expectations.
One of my favorite rainy day places way downtown. Great cocktails and breadsticks for those just wanting a beverage
Have eaten here on multiple trips. Food always excellent and always have wheat pasta 😋
One of our go to places in FIDI, not a lot of people even pre-covid but always a good solid meal
Great food sand great service
Incredible food. Very reasonably priced. Not squeezed in like too many restaurants.
Very good !!!
The kitchen apparently closes an hour before their posted close time. Their staff didn’t seem to care when I posted out they need to correct their hours.
Yes, please! Lovely space, good appetizers, perfect cocktails. Whats not to love?
I rarely post reviews but I think I really have to with this location, right from the start we waited so long just to get water, we were not served bread, then after we ordered we waited so long for our food and after the long wait the server got my wife’s order wrong, so I had to eat by myself (Isay I had to because it was going to go cold) and then 15 minutes my wife had to eat by herself, and after all that my wife’s food was undercooked because they rushed to make it. Overall this experience was the worst I ever had and it sucks because I ate at Felice at Montague and it was great.
