A really cute, cozy neighborhood spot. was not noisy or too crowded at all on a sunday evening. the menu is limited but what they did have was pretty good. the chicken is basically a giant chicken cutlet with various toppings. i ordered one that tasted like chicken parm with a slice of prosciutto. it looks unassuming, but it was quite filling. coming back to try the steak sandwich next time. perfect for a casual date or small gathering.
This was unfortunately Not the typical good Argentinan food im accustomed to- Came here for my birthday- I ordered the Garlic Parmesan crusted chicken & it had no flavor whatsoever - The cutlet was very thick and it was bland - No hint of garlic or parmesan flavor at all- I was personally disappointed & would not return- Sorry. Im Uruguayan & love Argentinan & Uruguayan food, but this particular dish was not good- sorry. 😕 The restaurant was nice & server was good too. My friends were content with their dishes tho so I would say maybe go and give it a try... FYI- Pretty pricey= We paid $200 for 4 dishes plus a tip.
Came for a happy hour around 4pm on a Friday and the place wasn’t crowded at all, and I like that. My friend and I plopped ourselves at the bar. Our bartender was very attentive and just happy to be there. That’s a great thing these days when it comes to customer service, at least this is what I noticed living here in NYC. My friend ordered empanada and I ordered their grilled vegetables. I had a glass of Sauvignon blanc and he a plain Casamigo soda. U know that they used the freshest vegetables because I know they only used olive oil and some salt and pepper but the dish really tasted amazing. I actually forgot to take photos lol. I will definitely come back. If you’re looking for a quaint white place to dine in, this Argentinian inspired restaurant didn’t disappoint.
Came here for brunch. The chilaquiles were my favorite dish. Avocado toast was very small and was mostly fries. Overall would return if in the area
Horrible customer service, food is ok, they take too long preparing food about 45 minutes. Servers are so annorying asking every 5 minutes if You want a other drink. My milanesa was not well cooked and i had to speak with Gerson that is supposed to be a manager but he is just a kid with no knowledge. Horrible management.
Cute little place tucked away in Tribeca. The food was good, though our choices ended up being much heavier than we expected. Our service on a Sunday night was quite lacking, looking mostly to be a restaurant efficiency issue. One server was obviously overworked managing both the inside and outside while we were unsure whether the 3 others were servers at all. It took a while for us to get our seats, to order, and to get our bill in the end too. Likely no fault on the individual, but the entire system this evening seems to need some rethinking.
Great drinks and food. Their bread is so good. Grilled Mozzarella appetizer was amazing. Will definitely go there again.
Had such a lovely time at Estancia 460. I chose the restaurant based on the atmosphere, as I was going on a date. The food was outstanding, I had the steak salad and he ordered a milanesa. And we had empanadas as starters. Our wine selection was exquisite. Staff was attentive but also gave us plenty of breathing room. Delightful experience, highly recommend.
Amazing food
The outdoor space is really cute. Cute spot for a drink and people watching in the summer, or a good date spot! Ordered calamari, medium rare rib eyes. The calamari — 6/10. Wasn’t really crispy and too soggy/oily for my preference. The ribeye steak — 8.5/10. Could’ve been a little rarer, a little too well done for my taste. Chimmichurri sauce has the perfect level of spice and goes well with the steak. The Cappucino — 11/10. was really good. One of the best cappucinos I’ve had in a while.
Definite Win, amazing wine selection, appetizers on point, Beef/manchego cheese empanadas stood out. Had the Parmesan crusted chicken, w/garlic mashed and burst tomatoes, savory with great taste. Husband had Rib Eye, also did not disappoint, ordered it medium with success, right amount of pink. Atmosphere super likable as was Staff.
Always a great stop! Most recently, I stopped by to have a glass of wine before a large event nearby. It was the perfect way to begin the evening.
Fantastic atmosphere! I love the outdoor seating and the variety of house cocktails (try the Rosalita!). The Argentine menu is delicious and adaptable, which my partner appreciates because of his allergies. Their outdoor seating is perfect on a nice evening and sort of mixes with customers from Estancias sister restaurant next door (North Bar) spilling out onto the sidewalk, making this feel like a neighborhood block party kind of place. I highly recomend!
After 4 days in New York we had our final dinner here. Best one, we did have the RIB-EYE, GRASS FED - no one was even close. The meat was perfect! You will not be disappointed!
My friend and I were working on the area today and we needed to get back to work quickly. We fell into this place and I definitely fell in love with the ambiance, the food and the friendly service. I recommend this place for anyone and everyone. If I were still a bartender I would love to work here! The food was delicious!! Prepared perfectly and on time without being rushed.
I had an amazing time. Thank you Estancia and especially Lucia for taking care of us. We will definitely be coming back.
Fantastic Argentinian inspired food, the homey feel is something keeps me coming back
This is such a lovely place in the heart of Tribeca. The atmosphere super comfy, the staff super friendly, the dishes are bigger then expected and the taste amazing. The steak sandwich omg super tasty, the salad and grilled vegetables to die for. Be back again.
Average food - over pricedChicken the size of Turkey and RTE Pizza from the grocery store
Amazing wine selection and tasty dishes. The service was amazing. However, Argentinian food is based on steak. Youll find here milanesas prepared with chicken instead
Great food great vibe.
Good food and service…beef empanadas were the highlight…
Ive been to a few restaurants in Manhattan, and I will tell you, I will be making another trip just to come back and have an amazing dinner again. Lucia and Orestes were so great! One can pause for an hour or two and forget everything thats going on and just have a plain old GREAT time. Thank you to all the staff for this amazing night.
Stopped by here for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon. It took a while to be served, but the staff were extremely gracious and friendly. We had burgers and a few glasses of wine. Loved it.
My wife and I had lunch here last week. It was perfect, just what we needed walking around NYC on a gorgeous afternoon. The pizza, salad and sangrias were excellent.
I literally saw the cook (or one of the kitchen guys) coming out of the restroom without washing their hands. Disgusting ! Overpriced food. Basic menu too.
We walked in on a rainy Saturday at 1130am and were the only ones in the place. Skeptical of course, although their brunch made all of our worries go away. Very attentive staff, food was amazing- get the bacon egg and cheese! 100% recommend if you’re looking for a low key weekend brunch place.
I had a great dinner with my wife. The restaurant has a nice relaxed environment without too much noise and no squeezed tables next to one another. Service was very pleasant, food was exquisite and surprisingly the prices are reasonable for the area. Im definitely going back!
Where to begin! What a beautiful and intimate little gem tucked away in Tribeca! I had the steak (cooked to perfection), empanadas (never had anything like them before!) and their warm family recipe, the mozzarella! The staff felt like family, and the bartender was very cute, too! He made a great nutty Russian (or 3). So excited to come back and visit!! Can’t wait to bring my gal pals and have a little too much fun at the bar (again).
Cora the bartender is great! Atmosphere, staff all wonderful- definitely worth your time and $.
A varied menu and friendly staff... food was very tasty but it seemed sometimes hard to get a waiters attention when we needed to... but overall a nice laid back atmosphere with delicious dishes for most genres of human... If i ever stray into the area again maybe I will try it again...
The schnitzels are amazing and well priced for lunch. The cozy and unstuffy vibe make it the exact kind of place I’d come back to regularly in Tribeca.
That Brunch Burger is my go to meal
One of the best restaurants in the city. The location isnt ideal but it is definitely worth the trip. A few weeks ago my husband and I thought to get food at the Greek place next door but decided to head to Estancia instead. We were so happy we did. He got the Gauchita & I ordered the Parmesan Crusted Chicken. Damnnn. It was incredible!!! I want to make mashed potatoes like that. And I ate all of my husbands fries. The only con I have is that the wine menu got taken away from me before I could order. I know I look very young but I work for a Master Sommelier. I was ready to pair my food with my wine but its okay- I took that as a sign to not drink for the night ;)
The food here is pretty tasty! I would recommend the pasta bolognese!
Non assuming with the best, freshest food I have had in a long while. The staff is very courteous and friendly, eager to help, without being all over the diners. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Good menu and clean. Stopped here for a quick bite before heading to the Freedom tower. Good food, fast and friendly service, will be back when in the area.
The place is moody. Sometime you get greta food and quick service. Sometimes bad food and crappy service. We used to go here for a quick lunch while working in the area. The omlette is good and so is the calamari salad.
Delicious. Excellent Argentine restaurant.
I think you would be very hard pressed to call this Latin American food. Seemed more like every other hipster place in NYC. Plus the owners giving your sarcastic, condescending responses if you dont give the place 5/5.I lived in Argentina from 2009 to 2011.
Fresh and delicious. Great atmosphere. I went for an after dinner treat and the dulce de leche crepes were exceptional. I will be back for dinner!
Stumbled into this gem because we came from a rooftop bar that didn’t serve Pinot Noir, and were in need of some delicious wine! And we, in fact, did have delicious wine (Pinot & Malbec glasses). We paired with calamari (fried) which was bursting with seasoning and flavor ~sabor~. Also had the flan with dulce de leche and I will be dreaming about that flan. Phenomenal consistency and smooth texture, the flan allowed the sweetness of the dulce de leche to lead the dance but the flan itself was an essential partner. I somehow had the patience to snap a photo before inhaling it, and there should be some kind of award for that? Looking forward to a more in-depth dinner here! And shout out to Juan L., service was fantastic and quick and attentive!
Nice restaurant, very good service, we will be going back foe sure to try other dishes. Parrillada for two was delicious, perfect cook tasty meat.
Went for brunch, limited options and not accommodating for other choices. So, good luck! It looks more like a tavern. Wouldnt bring friends over. Was not impressed.
Super good! really enjoyed my food here, but not the freshest or most flavorful Ive had. but solid.
Good quality food at a great price. We had the ribeye steak and the red snapper, we liked both. Cocktails were also good.
Is a good place to eat at. The food is amazing and the drinks top class. The crepes are absolutely life changing!
Estancia is like an old friend for my wife and I. We have been going here for years. Though we no longer live in the city we called home for some 50 years, we hope to be back here again this summer. Food, wine selection, ambiance and above all the service and attention provided by the charming owner and her staff are all top notch here. Expect to take your time.
Food was ok, nothing out of the ordinary. Its NYC, you can find something much more authentic Argentinian if you really want it. This is ok for a quick lunch
Amazing food.. the best mashed potatoes Ive had in a long time. and desert the dulce de luce made me feel like I was in Argentina..
Great food, kind staff, and great romantic ambiance. Highly recommend supporting this family owned restaurant!
Great food, great drinks, overall a great local TriBeCa spot. Highly recommend.
This place has the greatest French fries I have ever tasted. All the food is great. Perfect Lunch spot.
Love this place, employees are very respectful and hard working. Food is absolutely delicious. Pricing was fair. Thanks for having me!
Great establishment...mother and son were very personable...nice happy hour drink selection and appetizers and pizza were great as well...
Absolutely delicious! The empanadas were a highlight for sure and the burger was amazing!
Everything we ordered was delicious and the service staff was really nice.
Food and service excellent. Great ambiance. Malbec selection is wide.
The place was ice coldOrdered a crispy chicken sandwich with french friesCame out in 3 minutesThat told me how fresh it wasn’t19.60 $Left a 5$ tipFirst and last time I will eat there
The Amancaya wine at $60 was awesome. The steak was perfectly cooked.
Watch out for your check! They swiped my card charging more than the bill after we had asked the attendant to split the check in 2. And when I complained, I got a fishy impression that was kind of intentional…..
Great food and service. Parrila for 2 was exceptionally good.
Had a great time with 2 good friends and our 3 toddlers. Good food, kids menu, high chairs and friendly staff.
Charming restaurant in TriBeca. I love the ambiance and wine selection!
We love it here. Its elegant and low key. Service is really good. It feels like family and its great.
Lovely warm vibes and low key decor + delicious food + such friendly service are hard to come by in NYC but estancia has it all.
Estancia 460 is my favorite restaurant in Tribeca. The food is always delicious and the vibe is elegant yet unpretentious. Great value for the price.
I love this place and always put it at the top of my neighborhood list to go to.Not exorbitantly priced, andvthe food is exceptional and the waitstaff is totally accommodating. The bar drinks are wonderful also. Please try it
I thought the classic pizza was incredible. Steak sandwich was also very tasty. Would probably not get the empanadas again.Definitely plan on coming back here.
🤤 that would resume the experience.
The salmon and strip steak dishes were very good
Extremely disappointed with serviceThis should be a back up only place with someone you dont care to impress and whatever you have a screw on wine and a ceaser
I mean it’s fine. But I won’t be back. Happy hour is until 7. We arrived at 6:45 and I had to go inside at 6:55 to get someone to serve us. Besides the plates being slammed down, the spicy margarita price increases by $2 apparently because it’s spicy. Lol
Awesome! Great unique brunch menu too.
A great place to chat, laugh, and make new friends. The bright open space feels more like the kitchen in a country villa where everyone gathers to gossip, but with expertly prepared dishes and top notch cocktails. There is really no bad choice on the menue.
Everything fine, thought they didn’t have the cut of meat I was looking for. Flavors were good
Oh my goodness, the burger was it of this world. Great staff, great food.
Nice place, family wines are good.
Great place for lunch in Tribeca. Friendly staff and good service. Authentic food. Loved the Milanesa de Caprese. Very tasteful
Amazing spot for lunch in tribeca… friendly staff.. good clean eating !!!
Great food, mojitos and friendly staff!
Small cafe with fresh food. I wish they had some more Argentinian specialities
Delicious food.Grilled mozzarella was amazing.
The Paradise 😊
Just had a small party for 20 people at the restaurant. Recommend them highly. The food was great. The staff was friendly and efficient. Stacey and her crew are great.
Good food and totally empty for brunch!
After a hot day in New York, a carby meal wasnt going to cut it... What better than steak and chimichurri from an Argentinian restaurant. The two of us arrived very late in the evening, but the staff were amazing at accomodating none the less.We decided to order the Parrilada to share. Along with a 2016 Malbec from the Uco Valley paired fantastically by the waiter. The steak was cooked to perfection and the chimichurri even better than we could have hoped for.Between the amazing food, the candle lit table, subtle music, the vibe of the atmosphere and the service of the staff, it was an incredible night. Thank you.
Cool place for lunch. Great service. Food was just ok. Portion size as great but my dish was underseasoned and bland. Dinning room has a great vibe.
Nice quiet little restaurant to grab drinks and small bite - avoid tourists
Very cute
Really good food. House made bread, no corn. Quiet place, so you can talk as well as eat.
Loved it !! Food was great, service friendly and excellent !! Katie is great !!!
I love Estancia and I go there regularly with my family.
Great atmosphere and cheese/meat plates
Go to for west Tribeca area. The staff is awesome and the food is great.
Bring your earplugs and wallet! Loud, mediocre, and overpriced.
Nice spot, quiet but can get crowded as it is not huge.
Never order online delivery through uber or grubhub in this restaurant you will wait over an hour to get your food
Order lunch here frequently. Always reliable and tasty. great fries, but dont travel well.
Great food, great drinks, great service and people. The beers and mixed drinks are top quality. I loved the meat and chase plate, meat empanada, and caramel crepe dessert. Had a wonderful meal here. Will definitely come back. The service had a very personal touch as well, making the experience 5 stars overall.
Amazing local restaurant that is just as good to eat inside as it is to get to go. Lunch, dinner, I’d recommend it all.
Love the vibe and friendly staff
Could you have a better neighborhood restaurant. Good food and service. Quiet, but convenient location in North Tribeca. And you can have good lunch, dinner and brunch. A gem!
Really nice place, not too loud, not too crowded. Great for a lazy, relaxing meal. As of 09/28/20 they have outdoor seating (not very accommodating). I had the classico pizza, it was fresh out of the oven and tasted amazing!! The thin crust didn’t make it too heavy.
A neighborhood stand by. Food so good. Friendly lively hip crowd. Comfortable and casual.
We had the most amazing pasta and pizza here. The pasta has huge hunks of fresh bacon and shrimp. The sauce was so creamy and rich. The noodles were cooked to a perfect Al dente. The flat bread pizza was so thin and crispy, the tomato sauce fresh and silky. The cheese was stretchy and chewy. I don’t know how this meal could have been perfected any more than it was. The service was outstanding, the venue was charming and welcoming. I’m so happy we discovered this gem.
Amazing food and servers!! Beautiful evening having a peaceful summer dinner on their outdoor seating. Thank you Estancia 460!!
Best food in NYC, owner is a boss
Hidden gem tucked away in TriBeCa. The spicy marg was clean, and strong. All the food was prepared well, clean and healthy and the service was amazing. They kept the drinks coming and I will definitely be back!
Estancia 460 is one of those restaurants where the vibe is better than the food. The menu has plenty for everybody and the wine list, with its reasonable prices, is very appealing and well rounded. The food has intention to please but falls short. a beets with blue cheese and walnuts was lackluster and came deconstructed as all the ingredients were standing alone on the place as if shy of one another, instead of mixed gently to deliver the soul of what a salad should be. The Marguez sausage with white beans was another slight disappointment. The sausages were very delicious, with the right level of spices and crunchy outside. The beans on the other hand tasted reheated and came with a mild metallic flavor of the pan where they were reheated. Not pleasant. The service is prompt and affable -no complaints there.
Very tasty burger, and great staff.
A true neighborhood gem! The food is great but it is the staff that sets this apart from its local competition. You feel like you are at home (but with delicious food and amazing cocktails and wine)! This is a must visit place!
I expected more from the location and feedback by other google guides. We came on a Sunday so had the brunch, so i cannot judge on other menus. The food was ok, not wow. The french fries seemed from a frozen kind. The potatoes on another plate were tasteless. For being an Argentinian bistro, i would put more interesting/challenging items on the menu.
It has been years since I was last here, and it is still a hidden gem.
Wear the locals really eat! Last of the truly great, privately owned restaurants in Tribeca. Delicious seasonal menu, boutique wine list and gracious staff.
I honestly can’t remember the last time I had a meal so terrible in NYC. Breaded chicken with two eggs plonked on top. Side of fries that was forgotten and brought out 20 minutes later: I asked for marinara sauce to go with it because it was so dry - sauce was brought out 25 minutes later and they had the cheek to charge for me extra for it. Server was friendly but we told her how disappointing the food was and no effort was made to comp anything or even offer us a drink. The HH drinks were nice but didn’t make up for the food. A really disappointing experience. Not quite sure how this place had such good reviews.*edited after managers response*We DID express our views on the food before going online but like I said above nothing was done to acknowledge our disappointing experience. Hence my review.
Great service and excellent food. Daily specials never disappoint (especially Wednesday!). There is something for every pallette
Lunch menu is great. Amazing Milanese size and generous withe fries. Fast service
Very good panting, Argentine, food. Excellent service. Full of smiles.
Good food and affordable prices
Very good skirt steak, reasonable prices. Ok burger. Generous serving of fries. Very nice atmosphere.
Such a great neighborhood restaurant. Food and service are excellent.
Kitchen was slow, but enjoyed our meal
Last of the Old Tribeca family restaurants. Good food, skilled service. Highly recommended.
Katie was so welcoming and her customer service was spectacular!
This is a quintessential neighborhood joint. We come here and feel like celebrities because the staff is so friendly. Even on their really busy nights the hostess or manager always seem to find a table for us. The chimichurri and Empanadas are so good! But my wife prefers the Salmon with quinoa.
Terrible experience. We sat and got water. Then for 15-20 mins had been waiting for someone to take an order. But no one from the staff was even around for the whole time. It wasnt busy or anything. So we just left.
Food was soooo good. I had the steak sandwich with fries. Have to go back!
Great owners go there often when in New York
Both my kitchen and home away from home. Estancia is warm, friendly and inviting which is the holy grail in both NYC and specifically TriBeCa.
Very quant place, friendly service and hospitable.
Nice neighborhood place with reasonably priced menu. Service need some improvement specially in the Bar area. Bartender is really slow and I am talking about 20 min to get a drink slow all because he is just talking to some regulars at the Bar.Food is ok, nothing special, dont get shrimp they are overcooked.
Pleasant place for a glass of wine with friends
Service was slow and inaccurate (multiple mistakes in the order and the servers argued with us about their mistakes). Quality was disappointing, particularly for the area and price point
Poor.Visited for dinner. Poor wine, over cooked steak, average appetisers. Long time for food to arrive.Appears this is popular for lunch, otherwise I dont know how it would survive given the top notch competition in this area. This is the first time Ive even bothered to write a review: that disappointing.
Very nice atmosphere! I had a Bistecca and loved it!
Great food and service for agreat price
Friendly atmosphere, AMAZING food, GREAT VIBE
One of the best bloody Marys in the city
The atmosphere is great and the beet salad was delicious.
Not the best Argentinean food ive ever had. Chimichurri could use a little more flavor.
I liked the ambience, and wines... We had the parrilla for two and the food was not good... Ive been in Argentina couple of times and a few argentines restaurants in NYC, I love argentinian food and Im very particular with south american food and this wasnt good. They said they are looking forward to have an argentine chef soon, so lets wait....
The best restaurant in Tribeca, great food, super kid friendly and the staff rock!
Great food nice atmosphere
I ordered the Basico sandwich and I got a couple slices of pale tomato and mozzarella on some dry bread along with a pile of Ruffles- They simply left out the basil and olive oil and did a little ad hoc french fry substitution. No big deal, we asked the server about it- her explanation: well I didnt make it! The Mista salad had slimy black rotten salad leaves laminated to the fresher leaves, which were themselves pathetically limp. We talked to the owner about the issues- her response was identical to the waiters at first. After denying that the salad was indeed rotten, she then glanced at it and informed us that she was at the mercy of the produce delivery. My girlfriend and I have been going here for years, its been a standby mediocre spot with a good location and friendly service. Usually they are out of a few ingredients, but its only recently that they have apparently been just serving dishes anyway, either lacking key ingredients or containing ingredients that belong in the compost.I could forgive this kind of thing if anyone had responded with a modicum of decency, but the entire staff was incredibly rude and defensive from the waiter to the owner.A singularly terrible experience.
Drinks were amazing!
A favorite go to
Really nice place for dinner
The food used to be better.
Love!!!
Best milanesas in NYC
Always good food
It was great

Favorite place.
Always good.
Marvelous
Delicious food.
Not remarkable.
Yummy pasta
Love it!
EXCELLENT RESTAURANT, LOCATED IN A VERY QUIET AREA!!! My wife and I ordered chicken Milanese on horseback. A delight!!! The attention and atmosphere is excellent. Thank you!!!!!🫶🏽🇦🇷
Really very beautiful place, it is Argentine food and highly recommended
It just took a little while. Maybe it was my hunger.
The place is incredible. It has a very cool atmosphere and excellent food and service.
The place had a strange smell... the food was terrible!! The milanesas were so thin they looked like paper, on top of being fried they were harder... horrible! The waiter had no idea where he was. I didnt even know that beef, meat and beef is from a cow.0% recommended this place.
We liked it a lot and there are gluten free options
The choripan and the flan with dulce de leche were very delicious😍😍 the place is super cute and very good service, they would need to put Messi decoration on it but 10/10
The pizza was spectacular...
It is not the most important thing, but it can be done together with hagh line
A culinary farm
