Amazing addition to the upper east side. Authentic and delicious Vietnamese food. Had the grilled pork Bun, Vietnamese crepe, original pho, and flan for dessert. Drinks we had the banaynay and mai tai both very good. Food was excellent and service too! We will be back!

Words can not express how happy I am that this place opened up on the UES. All of the food that we had was authentic and excellent. The pho, particularly the Hanoi pho, was just wonderfully prepared and tasted great. The Saigon rice had an amazing pork chop, along with all of the other quality ingredients. I will be back (often).

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in NYC!! If you’re looking for an authentic Vietnamese restaurant, this is the place and you will never regret it. I’ve been here couple times since they opened and never disappointed my high expectations of the food. The food and drinks were amazing, I loved every single dish I’ve ordered and the service was the top notch! 5 stars for me.

Came with a group of 7 on a Sunday afternoon and were seated right away. The food was amazing—everyone loved everything we tried. I had the Hanoi pho and I tried some of the hawker rice which was so delicious. The staff was super attentive and friendly, and you could really see the passion and care in the decor and details. This is such a great addition to the restaurant scene in the Upper East Side and it’s bound to only get more popular. Will definitely be back!

I ordered the chicken pho and the chicken was full of fat. I couldn’t finish it. The beef pho was also very fatty.

LOVED THIS PLACE. Finally a great Vietnamese restaurant in UES. I see myself coming back here every few weeks, doing take out, dining solo, bringing visitors, all of the above! The staff was lovely. Food was beyond fresh and tasty. Left feeling satisfied and nourished. Cannot recommend enough! I can’t wait to go back and try new things :) do yourself a favor and head to Ly Ly!

Absolutely phenomenal pho! The broth is so rich and the meat is very flavorful. Their cocktails are also very good (the cat one is lit on fire, so very aesthetically pleasing). Everyone who works there is so sweet!

A great new addition to the upper east side!We ordered the UES pho (would 10/10 recommend), shaking beef (very delicious but small portion for the price), ba (shrimp) roll (yummy!) and the crepe (also good and we’re happy to try it out). The drinks were in cute cups. The mai tai was VERY strong. The ba-nay-nay was amazing and I could drink that everyday.Excited to go back and try new things, particularly the other pho options!

Good Vietnamese pho in Upper East Side? Somehow yes. Lyly newly opened Vietnamese spot is a second (but not same name) store after Nom Nam. The basics are executed brilliantly here. Pho soup that is hot to the point of being scalding. Simple, clear, yet rich broth. Soft strips of meat and sauces to complement. Everything else on the menu builds on top of these great basics. Give the pork bahn mi a try, and don’t skimp on the extra side of pho soup as dipping sauce. Punch for punch one of the best Vietnamese spots in town.

As a Vietnamese, this restaurant is a much needed addition to the UES food scene. We enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee, lychee (not) Martini, Che Thai, com suon bi cha, Cha gio tom and banh xeo. We will come back and try their other dishes. I highly recommend this place.

Our absolute new favorite place up here! The staff are so so kind, and my girlfriend and I have been like, four times in the first two weeks it’s been open because the pho and banh mi are just so incredible. Everything there is a 10/10, will be going back MANY times!

We went their opening week and had an amazing food. I felt like I was in a restaurant that combined the cozy-warm “uncles house” with the hip-trendiness of newer restaurants of nyc. Their hot coffee, chicken wings, UES pho, and the fried rice were hits! Highly recommend.

Great new Vietnamese restaurant! Shrimp rolls were crunchy, unique and delicious. Crepe was also crunchy and tasty. Pho was flavorful and the drinks were fun and tasty as well. Good service, cute decor. Only thing is the share plates were really tiny and hard to eat off, they should consider getting slightly bigger ones. Overall I hope they do well!

Literally the UES Pho was the best I’ve ever had in my life. Specifically that 5-spice smoked short rib puts every other piece of meat I’ve ever eaten to shame. I cannot believe how amazing it was. I cannot wait to come back!!! Try this place out before the lines are out of control!

Had a great dinner here. Their vegan pho has a very fragrant and delicious broth, plus a generous portion of food. Also tried the fried shrimp and squid appetizers which were both great. Friends had the crab noodles, pork Bun, and the beef pho, and all loved the food. Will definitely be back, welcome to the neighborhood!

If it’s your first time in New York and you’re craving Vietnamese pho, this place will definitely bring you the warmth of home. We searched for it on Google Maps after visiting the museum. We couldnt believe it when we saw the 5.0 rating, but when we arrived we found it was indeed worth five stars. The staff were very nice. We had some pho and rice. The food was quite large, but my pho was a bit too salty. I guess I accidentally added too much 😂. Although the store is small, the service is good and the quality is good. There is also a bar when you first enter. The overall atmosphere is great, full marks! ! !
