This place is a wonderful sports bar! 🍻 The Three Monkeys 🐒 offer a great selection of beer🍺, alcoholic drinks 🥃, wine🍷, cocktails 🍹, and delicious 🤤 dishes 🍽️ - definitely get their Nachos! Staff 👨🍳 and friendly and helpful! Service is quick ⏲️, ambience 🎶 is great, music 🎵 is awesome, and the place is nicely decorated! 🛋️ This spot is perfect to watch 📺 sports 🏀 with friends! I wish I knew about this place earlier!
I watched my cocktail being made — it was mostly syrup and less than a shot of alcohol. The taste was indeed overbearing with syrup (it was basically just syrup). I’d recommend just grabbing a beer.
I love this place, and I am sure to visit pre or post Broadway show! The friendly, attentive and fast service at the bar and the awesome beer selection something I always look forward to here. And it is always this way the many times Ive been here no matter what time or day of the week it is! The bar is tucked away where there is a good mix of locals and some tourists. There is a good, friendly, energy to this bar, not over the top energy, and its not too quiet either. Menu is a broad selection and good for sharing too. Enjoy a beer here for sure!
Had a fantastic burger here before catching a show. As far as atmosphere and service, its a sports bar and it felt true to that genre. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were excellent. The patty itself could use a little more seasoning, but it was not unseasoned. I would watch sports here anytime.
My husband and I had a great time at Three Monkeys with friends. However, one aspect we didnt particularly like was how dark it was on the second floor, where we enjoyed tasty sliders and delicious drinks. Its worth noting that a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill, which we didnt realize at first. So, we ended up tipping on top of that without checking that the gratuity was already included. Despite this, its still a fantastic spot for a casual night out with friends.
Good sports bar, decent food and drinks.F the Celtics though
As a party of 4, we went in around 1 AM and was serviced right away. The late night menu provides plenty of options and it did what it needed to do at that time - the wings were good.
The beer in here is unreal. So good. We were seated by an Irish bartender who was really nice. Another guy took over the floor and was fine. All the tables around us were reserved and I got the feeling they wanted us to leave. They were friendly about it though. Would happily go back and sit at the bar sinking beers. Premier League on the TV was a real bonus. Would watch games here if I lived in NYC.
Had a disappointing experience at The 3 Monkeys during the US Open. The guy at the entrance was quite rude and couldn’t even confirm if the match would be available during prime time. Inside, the noise level was unbearable, making it impossible to have a conversation. I ordered a Penicillin cocktail, but it was far from the quality I’m used to. On the bright side, the bar staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are dozens of better sports bars in Manhattan with better service and fully functioning TVs.
It’s a good place to come and drink , the drinks are priced decent not too expensive not too cheap…music is good so you enjoy your drinks..the kitchen here stays open longer than other usual bar so if you want to much something late night with your drinks this is the place..
This restaurant was pretty nice, I would recommend for someone without dietary restrictions. For myself personally, it was not very gluten free friendly. The chicken nachos were good, but the chicken was dry. I would recommend the bbq sliders though.
This is a neat place. I love the ambiance, and the mozzarella sticks were awesome! It also seems like a great place to drop by and watch a game! Would recommend.
Lovely bar with great atmosphere and fantastic staff. Wide choice of beers and delicious food (tasty mushroom flatbread and sausage flatbread). Bar staff are attentive and service is speedy.
This bar and restaurant was a great fi d on a Saturday night. We hit this place just right and were able to get seated immediately. Fun place. Fun NYC crowd. Efficient and friendly staff. We needed a quick bite before heading home to CT and the staff accommodated our time pressure.
Great spot! Amazing food and service, loved how they suggest regarding what beers to sample 😊🍻 decided to stop by with a friend from Wisconsin and totally loved it! He said he’ll be back. Note: You guys could up your fat monkey sub 😬
Giving this place 5 stars because I think it’s the best sports bar you can find in the middle of midtown Manhattan. Good and fast service, lots of beers on tap to choose from. Good amount of tvs to watch sports (I went for Yankees playoff game). Nachos were tasty! One major piece of advise; you have to upgrade those TVs behind the bar. It felt like I was watching a game from the 90s on one screen and the score box was cut off on the other.
Good vibes! Good music. Great bartenders. Mac cheese balls were tasty! Good selection and reasonable prices for Manhattan area.
This is a great bar. The bartender Nicki ( God I hope I got her name right 🙏)is one of the best. She made sure my glass was always full. She was very attentive & welcoming. The crab cakes & chicken wings were delicious. This is now one of my go to places , I highly recommend this little slice of heaven. Come by & enjoy.🍺🍻🍷🍸🍹🥂🍾🥃🍗🐓🦀
Stopped in while I was waiting to meet a friend near by. The beer selection is great & the bartender( Christina) was very pleasant & patient with me(I wasnt familiar with some of the beers they had). The place was clean, the staff seemed engaging & the appetizer I had was great! Ill definitely stop back to try some of their other dishes!
It was okay. Got the flatbread pizza without cheese to make it vegan. It was more like a really really thin pita bread/chip kinda texture and the vegetables were hard to taste. My partners chicken tenders weren’t anything to write home about. The salad was...a salad lol.I didn’t try any drinks but it seems like your typical bar and they do have some good options for food, just don’t expect gourmet. Don’t really remember the server so it’s more a bar with table service. The atmosphere seemed nice and we didn’t check out the 2nd floor. I’d come back to try drinks there if I was in the area as it seemed like a good pub for weekend/night drinks out. Conveniently located about 1 1/2 blocks from the 7th Ave (E,B,D) subway stop.
Excellent charcuterie board. Beer selection was solid and the service was great. Lots of tv’s to watch any game.
The 3 monkeys bar/restaurant was lovely me and my friend had the brisket sliders and the steak Hors Doeuvres we ask for medium well but it came out well done for the steak but all in all it is a nice spot to just relax.
Surprisingly great food and service! Was totally not expecting this off beat looking bar to be so spectacular! Nachos were top notch and drinks were delicious.
I only had drinks so I can’t rate the food but the service and the atmosphere was great. All the wait staff were quick and friendly. I would definitely go back again.
Nikki is a great Bartender! Very personable. And she knows a lot about the beers they sell. Thanks for a great Christmas Eve Drink. Their food is pretty good too if you are looking for a quick bite!Thank you! ❤️❤️
Great hidden gem. Small from the street, big inside. Busy, great atmosphere. Very long bar, with top notch service. Beer menu is superb, terrific curation and so much choice. The extensive food menu is impressive and the dishes themselves even better. Tasty, well presented and great variety. Cracking bar.
Great beers, service and great food. Came here with the hubby for lunch and we both had burgers and couple beers, loved it.
Upstairs comedy show run by Sheba is excellent. All pro comedians, fun show, and the food here is quite good - love the flatbreads and fish tacos. Come for the laughs, you won’t be disappointed.
Cool spot! Craft beer menu is lit! Food is delicious and service is fantastic. Great place to chill have drinks and hang
Loved their roasted cauliflower and pita. They have a good selection of cocktails and beers as well! Plenty of seating space and a quiet ambience maintained.
We saw the three monkeys behind the bar: sees-no-customers, takes-no-orders, and fills-no-orders. It was crowded and we expected a wait, but the bartenders never acknowledged us and certainly never took our order. They didnt seem to be doing much else either. Id suggest hiring more monkeys, but three could be enough if they cared. Its also very loud. Its a shame because the tap list looked interesting.
Had the best afternoon/ night. Jordan a fabulous girl, so attentive and never let our glasses go empty. Your lucky to have her an assett to your bar. 👏👏⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great service the vibe is fun and upbeat. The food is yummy. Had a fantastic time. Perfect hangout spot for friends.P.S. they have comedy shows must see
The first time I came here back in March they had brunch. My friends and I ordered the bottomless mimosas. The mimosas were perfectly made. Service was great. I am a huge breakfast person so I ordered the eggs benedict and it was soooo good.I loved the dish so much, I ordered their French toast and that was so delicious as well. I ate both plates by myself. Im really glad we went there.I went back again for brunch a couple weeks ago and it didnt seem like they had a brunch menu at all so I was a bit disappointed considering I was looking forward to having brunch there again.
5 star breakfast! The food took a while to come out but the wait was worth it! All freshly prepared and beautifully presented. We could even watch our fav speaker on TV (Joel Osteen).
Great central location to watch sports in midtown, somehow less touristy feeling than other places in the area. The three floors and outside deck seating helps disperse the crowds. Tons and tons of TVs, so you will always see your team. Large beer selection and some good greasy apps.
Very nice doorman. Fight was coming up and he let us in anyway with no cover as we were having one and done and going to be out long before the fight started. Very professional. Bartenders were very accommodating and they put a game on that we wanted to watch on a tv closer to us. Beers were fantastic, but slightly overpriced even for Manhattan. Definitely will be back.
I came here for a flight of beer because the bar lists their selection on Untappd. Its a deep selection. The Untappd menu wasnt 100% up-to-date, but was still very helpful - - thanks for making beer snobbery a little easier!
This bar has a surprisingly brilliant selection of craft beer. We were very lucky to discover it just down the street from our hotel. The staff were beyond brilliant, they made us feel really welcome and the service was very attentive. We returned and went to the comedy night (Shebas Speakeasy) and it was fantastic. The comedians were hilarious and Sheba is an icon.If we ever return to NYC, well be back here in a flash!
Very very good sports barLot of beers from multiple American cities.Taste food and nice serviceFair prices
No prices on drinks menu, turns out pint of Guinness is $12 (plus tax plus 20% tip). Staff was getting a bit annoying when a different person came to ask if we need anything pretty much every minute. At least they were nice unlike the bill...
Nice local beer bar in Hells Kitchen with great music. Havent heard anything made after 1990 here and I couldnt be happier. Ive yet to see a monkey, despite advertising they have THREE, but Im not losing hope.Looking forward to my free shirt...
Fun place. Came for the Giants Jets game. They are are Patriots bar (Boo!) and had sound on but they were cool enough to put the NY game on the patio for us! Awesome beer selection and fish tacos prob the best I’ve ever had! We’ll be back!
Love the beer options and great foodLittle too crowded and too loud... but also super fun. Reasonably priced, would go again for the cauliflower pizza ❤️❤️
We had a drink and lamb sliders. The drink was okay and nothing exceptional. The sliders were not good tbh. They were dry and had a weird smell to them. We wanted to order more food but got so disappointed with the sliders that we didnt dare to do so. We went for the comedy show. The show itself was free so it was pretty mediocre. Nothing exceptional.
Do not go here if you are looking to sit down for food. I have been to many NYC restaurants / bars and this was the most incompetent service I have ever seen. A table was supposed to take 15 minutes and our group ended up just waiting at the bar for over an hour and an half until we decided to leave. I rate the food a 4 star because after an hour of waiting we decided to order an appetizer at the bar and it was good. Most incompetent service I have witnessed to date though. Again if you are looking to have a sit down meal of any sort please stay very clear of this place.
$14 for a tiny pour of wine, trashed glassware, & barely clean. Tap beer, meh, you can get at any pub. The inside is so dark, you cannot see your food. Deafening music that makes you want to run out of there! $54 bucks for 2 ppl, 1 beer, 1 wine, tacos & lukewarm fries in a cold bowl, waitress left, did not relay this to us before we watched her walk out the door & closing our check! Go elsewhere!
I went 5pm on a Saturday. Kinda dead but awesome layout, good beers, super friendly staff, and I was able to find an outlet for a little phone juice during a long day of usage.
Spinache and Tuna salad unbelievably good. Mouth watering taste combinations with medium made tuna steaks. Excellent beers from the tap.
Great food and great comedy show. A great spot for late night laughs and sustenance!
DO NOT COME HERE! We came to watch game 2 of knicks and sixers and ordered food and drinks. We closed out and sat at the bar. They changed the TV in front of us to the Yankee games. We asked them to change the game back to the knicks and the manager immediately asked, “are you going to order a drink?” We told him we already paid for food and drinks and he said we were no longer customers anymore. We moved down to a tv playing the game. I went to another bar tender asking if he was the manager and he came up and asked if I had a problem. I said yes, we paid and I don’t understand why we can’t be here anymore. He said we were no longer customers, we’re taking up seats (there’s currently 4-6 seats available at the bar). He said he wanted us to leave. We decided not to leave. He told us two people want our seats when there were 4 seats available at the bar. We decided not to move.
The food was pretty good. Nothing super special, but it’s solid sports bar food!
A wonderful surprise. It was across from our hotel and it was raining,. Glad we did. They have the best nachos we ever had - and we go to Mexico every year.We also had buffalo wings which were terrific. Crispy ad extremely tasteful. Will definitely go to when we go back to New York.
Service was great. Burger was delicious! Buffalo calamari had way too much buffalo sauce on it to where the breading was falling off and drenched out the flavor of the calamari. Would recommend getting the buffalo sauce on the side to dip the calamari in.
Nice place to hangout. I had a few beers and a chipotle bowl. Everything was great.
The server could have gotten by on her good looks but instead she brought her A game. And the fish tacos were great too!
I only had a beer here while hanging out and talking with a friend, so I didnt get to try the food. However the drink menu is extensive and the staff is friendly. Good prices and atmosphere.
Had a very spontaneous weekend and came up from VA to visit Manhattan. My boyfriend and I visited this bar after walking from Times Square and it was awesome. The nachos and beef sliders were hitting. We also ordered a lot to drink, maybe too much, but the lavender mule was soooo good. Got absolutely hammered and luckily our hotel was right across the street. Highly recommend this place and can’t stop raving about how amazing our experience was! BTW- they have live comedy shows every night. We didn’t attend, but I’m sure it would’ve been amazing to go to that too!
Make sure you try the Disco Fries, service is amazing and had a great evening. Drinks are very pricey though, if it was cheaper I would of visited more.
Great bar and atmosphere!! Have returned a couple of times for FSU games.. food is delicious and servers are very attentive! We order nachos and flatbreads every time!
Love Love love this place. Staff AWSOME, food delicious 😋 great music sports fun 😀
I dont live in NYC but this bar is what I think it is like. Super lively, great beer list, atmosphere and solid nachos. Worth the visit.
Excellent service, great selection of beers, delicious food. Definitely recommend.
The vibe was cute, i wish i was able to try the food. i came to the bar at around 2 and saw a sign that stated the kitchen closed at 3 but was told inside the kitchen was already closed :/. i also wish i was able to enjoy the seemingly welcoming atmosphere when i returned from having to get food…but was rush out of the bar with 45 minutes left before closing :/ in addition, instead of making the shots that i was rushed to order…the bartender went and spoke with his friends…maybe i’ll try again another time 🤷🏽♂️
Service wasn’t the best, but the food was good & they had a very good beer selection (I even found a yummy sour beer I liked). Good sports bar, tho the stools were super uncomfortable. We stood at the end, since they were so horrible.
Good vibes. Came for a large group event and they were able to robe off an area upstairs. The drinks on the menu were good and strong. Wouldn’t order a whiskey sour again tho. No complaints with the food
We stopped by on a Sunday to catch the patriots game from out of town, we heard this was the place to go. The atmosphere was great, not to rowdy a nice crowd of fans. Our server Jordan was amazing very attentive our glasses were never empty. They had 36 beers on tap, everybody in our group was happy with the selection there was something for everyone. Jordan was so knowledgeable with the food menu and helped us choose some appetizers for the group to share and this really delicious flatbread which she informed us was only seasonal for the winter, it was called the wicked pissah . (Id recommend getting it if you stop by) They had so many tv’s up & downstairs if you wanna catch a game this is the place to be! On our way out we noticed they had a big mural of the three monkeys wearing the Boston teams hats, it was amazing the host said it was just a new addition this week and what a cool one it was. We will be back next time we’re in town.
Three Monkey is an absolute fun place. There are tables upstairs to accommodate any large parties. plenty of seating through out the place. The staff here are very very friendly and provide a great service.
We had a great experience in the three monkeys. Food was awesome and our server jordan went above and beyond to make our evening extra special. Would recommend a visit to this bar.
Great selection of beers!
Our hotel is across the street, even if it were not for the proximity, I would argue that the staff is amazing, kind and welcoming. the disco fries are gravalicious and the calamari is lightly battered and tasty. The folks that frequent this bar are chill and friendly. I would say come on in and have a great time.
Near place but loud. It is in midtown during the holidays so it was to be expected but eh. There are a ton of places around here so I wouldnt necessarily need to go back but it was fun. The staff was very attentive even tho it was crowded. That is Def a plus
I have never encountered a more rude and unprofessional security guard in my life. We were treated with zero respect and refused entry without any reasonable explanation. Instead of communicating clearly or offering assistance, the guard seemed more interested in flexing their authority than helping anyone. It’s unfortunate that someone with such a terrible attitude is in a role that requires basic courtesy and professionalism. Absolutely unacceptable behavior.
Great low-key bar with awesome bartenders. Everyone is super friendly and attentive and welcoming, its a great place to grab a drink and some food after work!
Amazing bar in Midtown Manhattan, one can easily walk from time square to this place. Its not very expensive and it pretty good. They have 2 floors in which 1st one is a proper sports bar, on the second one half is indoor sports bar and the other half is outdoor with comedy show happening everyday in the evening. Staff is friendly and quick. Do visit if you plan to go to a bar near times square.
BEST BOSTON BAR IN NYC!! I absolutely love this place. The staff, drinks, and food are all amazing. They have the sound on for all the games and play dope music!
Awesome bar, right in midtown! The drinks were flavorful and well-crafted. There is a nightly comedy show upstairs, as well as a full kitchen with delicious food offerings. So excited to have found a spot right near my classes! I look forward to more visits in the future.
Great beer selection! A bar staff that knows there beer. Will make it a frequent stop while in town..
Wonderful place to spend a Saturday afternoon watching college football. Very friendly and attentive staff. Extremely friendly and welcoming. Good food and drinks and nice atmosphere!
Good atmosphere, coat check, descent prices and food. Lots of foreign visitors which add to the charm. Cocktail list is small but the drinks are really good. Two levels and roomie space. They had a DJ there on a Friday night and the music was great, mix of 90s and current pop.
Ive been eating here for the past three days and it is amazing. The food is tasty and unique. The drinks are delicious and well worth it. The chicken wrap is one of the best Ive ever had. Definitely coming back here everytime Im in NYC.
Had the Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls. Also a warm & toasty. Nice place to watch Sunday NFL. #NYC
Hands down it was EVERYTHING! The vibe, food and customer service was GREAT! As a native New Yorker I must say I was impressed!
It was okay.Nothing special compared to other bars.I got O.J cuz I am taking antibiotics😂Anyway curry nachos and..I forgot the menu. It was okay.Good Friday vibes
Great dive bar in midtown. Very big too, although it gets crowded quick during the week as its popular with a few nearby ad agencies. Beer selection is pretty good, and food is surprisingly decent. Good place to grab a drink with friends or with colleagues if youre stuck in midtown. Not worth a trip out of your way for though.
We go there to watch football games. Menu is limited. The host up front had a total attitude. W head fun but will only go to watch a game played. DJ was awesome
Interesting beer list and super friendly staff. Is drink beer here again, no question.
Great bar with good food!
This is a really nice spot nestled in the theater district. After enjoying the views of nycs skyline from a rooftop bar nearby, we wanted to grab something to eat before heading home. This place is huge with ample seating available on the bar. The best thing about this place is that the kitchen is open till the wee hours of the morning. I guess we walked in close to two in the morning and we were still able to order the wings from the menu, how cool is that. I dont there are many bars where the kitchen is open till the late hours. We ordered wings and they were really tasty. We got the tap beer too. The servers were attentive and cool.
Had some wings that were pretty good, and watched some football. Atmosphere was pretty good and exciting, service was decent enough, only complaint is it was a little overpriced there 3 hours maybe with my gf and ticket was almost $200..
This place was a surprising find not too far away from Times Square. If youre looking for a large selection of beer, this is the spot for you. Ranging from stouts to sour beer to ales, cider and hard liqour, this place has it all (though I definitely recommend trying their sour selections - you wont be disappointed). Tables are on the smaller side so if youre there with a larger party, things might get a little squishy. The music isnt too loud, service is great and food is pretty decent too so its an excellent place to catch up with friends!
Such a fun place to spend a few minutes, or a whole evening! I’ve been coming to NYC for 8 years, and have made sure to make The Three Monkeys a part of my itinerary every time. The vibe is great, the beer selection is top-notch, and the staff is always amazing! Many a beverage had, and conversational topic discussed, while enjoying the ambience of this great spot. You won’t be disappointed!
Great food and quick service I shall be back soon! 👌🍺🍻🍔
Avoid coming here!!! Came with my friends and we were charged for drinks that we didnt order. After talking to the waitress explaining her multiple times we didnt order those drink, she refused to removed them from the receipt. We had no other choice, but to pay for it.
Small sports pub with lovely hosts/waitresses but slightly higher than normal beer prices. $12 a beer. 3.75/5 stars as a day bar.
We have been in NYC for 4 days and have followed flawless Google reviews for some amazing experiences. But this place missed the mark horribly! Food was not bad, but definitely ordinary. The noise level was unbearable. Loud music and 5 TVs running resulting in all the customers yelling to compete. We go to a lot of concerts. When we left this pub, my ears were ringing like I had been at a 2hr concert. If you want fabulous food at an amazing pub with superb staff, go over a few blocks to Oldcastle Pub. Youre welcome!
A hidden gem we feel upon. The staff and food is awesome. Cant wait to go back. Their flat bread pizza is easily one of the best Ive had. Mind you, I was starving and it was 1:00am
Excellent amount of different beers on the go at any one time. Constantly varying beer menu.Service excellent and the regular comedy hour is great to see.
Probably one of the most happening resto sports bars in mid town. Great stouts to choose from and amazing finger food. Warm friendly staff and despite the busy place, very prompt service. I have eaten here twice already. Do visit if you can.
Great bar stop while exploring Midtown. Not too busy at 4pm on a Friday. Chicken satay was decent, chicken breast skewers with a couple of sauces. One sauce reminded me of cocktail sauce and the other was similar to teriyaki.
Really good place to watch sports games, was showing the NFL and baseball. They play music at the same time so there was no game sound. Great drinks selection, the pumpkin ale was particularly good!
Great beer selection, okay prices by NYC standards ($6-8 pints, non-happy hour). Lunch menu isnt bad but rather on the small side, mostly bar food. Service is pretty good as well.
Comedy show was great. Restaurant service wasnt very good. That tends to happen when Im alone. I got fish and chips, which I enjoyed. Generous portion. I like the big draft beer selection too.
Nice place, good selection of beers and food. I had a great time there with my friends.
Great energy, nice staff and decent drinks. Solid choice of a sports bar in the midtown area. We did not try the food, next time!
Food was great and there are lots of beer options. The best part is how friendly the staff is. Really nice place to go especially on Football Sunday. Every TV had a different game on.
This isn’t a real bar, this is the second floor of Winnie’s. The original Three Monkey bar location closed on 54th and there was a pop up at this address but the second floor is usually Winnie’s.
My friend and I arrived a little after 6: 15PM to watch the 1st NCAA basketball game. Bar was not packed, but the bartender was not that helpful in keeping our beers refreshed or taking our food order. Shift change came and she peaced out. My first order of pork belly tacos were perfect, nice and crispy and the meat was firm. I put in a second order that about and hour to come out. And when the manager FINALLY brought them over and tossed them on the bar, they were greasy, soggy, pastey AF. Not happy. I told the dude bartender about my displeasure with the food and he shrugged off my complaint like I was a piece of trash. Will not be coming back here.
The stars are only for the bartender. He was awesome and nice guy to talk too. Me and my wife came here and sat at a table. It took 10 minutes for a waitress to take our drinks and 20 mins to make. The bar was literally 6 feet away but she just didnt want to serve. Never coming back here from the horrible service.
Stayed in NYC three days and Three Monkeys was right next door tonight hotel. We ate there twice and loved it. Highly recommend!!
We came here during the snowzilla because it was acroos the hotel and the only thing open. The food was surprisingly good! the sliders were delicious, specially the lamb slider. If I ever come back here again, Im definitely getting the lamb burger! The nachos fries were tasty too!Good beer selection, and good bar ambiance!
Pretty big two-floor sports bar with a pretty great beer selection.
This place has the most expensive mediocre bar food that I have ever seen. I asked for a medium rare lamb burger and the lamb burger came out so well done that it had been burnt on the outside. The fries tasted stale like they were previously frozen. The beer was pretty expensive for happy hour.
Great beer selection. Varied with lots of selection for all tastes. Also decent prices for Manhattan. Would definitely go back. Wish there was just a bit more selection for happy hour specials. The happy hour special that day was still really good.
Great place, cool music and vegan options.
Pretty solid drinks and bar food.
I didn’t come here for the food, which wasn’t too bad. Typical bar food. What I also didn’t come here for was an investment. Who charges $8.00 for Miller Lite? It’s a bargain beer that you drink when you want 96% water to hydrate, no one drinks it for the taste. You’re welcome for the 12-pack!
All around great spot! Great beer selections and quick service. Food was great, we had nachos and wings. Will come back
The first thing that hits you when you walk into Three Monkeys is its massive size: Not only does the bar go back deep, but theres also a second level with a full barA spacious, gastro-style craft beer pub with a lounge-y feel, and a balcony overlooking the first floor. They have over 30 beers on draft and a unique menu of small plates with a twist—oysters, mussels, hot dogs, sliders, flatbread pizzas and more. Theyre always showing the big games on giant TVs.Was here on a random night with a group of girls for some drinks, food and much needed catch up. Downstairs was very packed around 7pm so we settled upstairs. Bartender was very friendly and took our orders fast (always a plus!).We ordered French fries, nachos and flatbreads everything was good and well-priced. Definitely recommend if you are in the area
This place was awesome. Apps were great and the main course was amazing. Nice irish pub to go to if your a Bostonian. Owner is from were my family came from in Ireland. Disnt meet him but will next time. Staff was pleasant as well. A must go im ny
Was tired of walking and ran into this pub for a beer and snacks. Was glad I did. Really nice and nachos were amazing.
So welcoming. One of my favorite Irish pubs. Great food and lovely staff.
My favorite bar in midtown! They have a great beer selection, incredible food and a great staff.I highly recommend the brisket flatbread!
Loud as hell, full of unsavory characters... wanted to order some wings for take out, as we were staying at the hotel across the street. Asked for 4 pounds of wings to go, and the hostess could not fathom what I wanted. It was like I had tried to order the wings in stones or pennyweights. I finally had to explain I just needed 4 orders of wings, whatever that amounted to. (in most places Ive been to in the US & Canada an order is usually determined by a set weight or a number of pieces, this was apparently a foreign concept here) ....after an agonizingly long wait, all the while holding tight to my wallet, I finally received my four wing orders of undetermined count or weight, and was on my way. .... The wings themselves were pretty good, but man, never again....
Great bar with great food. Delicious vegan options.
Three Monkeys has the best selection of craft beer in this immediate area. Prices are reasonable given the quality of the beer and the location, and I appreciated being able to get beers in 5, 10, or 16 oz pours. Our service was fast and friendly.
Food was amazing, beer s election was tremendous, I thought some of the servers werent friendly and didnt care but I quickly realized they are just always so busy and working hard. Dont be afraid to stop them, they are all great and hard working.I would come again and I would recommend then to everyone.
I had wanted to go to a comedy show for nearly a decade. I finally had a chance at a steal of $22 for 2 tickets. Though each comic had their ups and down all were funny. Chris the host was hysterical, Tom Kenny was probably the roast master of the night, Ally, Drew, Roberto and the others all crushed it. I highly recommend
Great food! Served by great staff! Friendly atmosphere!!
First time there was the night of the Yankee wildcard game. Made a reservation which I was a surprise for a pub like this. It was the night after my anniversary and they saved me a nice table in the corner with a great view of the game amongst an energetic crowd. Server was spot on, food was just as good! Had the veggie empanadas tasty with an avocado dip, chorizo flatbread outstanding and bowl of meatballs good stuff. Cant wait to go back!
The Three Monkeys has been my favorite spot to hit up any night of the week. They have two floors including an open patio upstairs for drinking or for a planned party (and for those of you that smoke). The vibe is always great and if youre feeling hungry, the food is AMAZING. Try the short rip on top of a delightful helping of mashed sweet potato and a side of garlic sauteed collard greens. It knocks me over every time. They have a great selection of beers that changes at a nice pace, know how to make a great mixed drink, great happy hour specials (especially for being so close to Time Square) and above all else, the bar tenders and even the owner himself are the nicest people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting! Plus always keep an eye out for when the DJ starts kicking it up and people start dancing and laughing. No week of mine is complete without going there at least once!
Great ambiance! Claire is amazingly friendly and helpful! She pays attention to the customers! Excellent food! Everything was delicious from the chicken to the various sliders! Their fries are incredible!! Thank you for a fabulous experience!
If youre into beers, this is a great spot to check out to drink something more unique and something not from around the area. Great atmosphere to sit and sip leisurely. The customer service is great too
While waiting for the David Letterman show we were housed for 90 minutes here. The bathrooms are clean and have warm water at the sink. I dont know if the Letterman show pays for the space. If they do...they have a good gig going. Serving drinks, food and keeping us warm. I had the fries which were crispy, just didnt like the fact that it was too crowded with people bumping around and not even enough space for the waitress to come to the stand up table.I had to wait at the bar for my drink.
We had a good experience today! All the staff is nice and polite, the food is delicious and they have an expressive variety of really good beers on tap!
We stopped in here for a few beers. It was Sunday night football and NY giants were playing. Great atmosphere and delicious beer. Service was on point! Great spot to grab some beers.
Amazing beer selection, lots of choices, service was not bad, food was great, had nachos and wings, totally recommend, any pats fans out there its a pats bar!!
This place is amazing from when we walked in the host was very helpful & the server was extremely attentive. However, the sliders, disco fries & mac n cheese is finger lickin good!!!!! Would recommend this place to the universal 😁😁😁😁😁😁Great atmosphere.
Just great. Cracking beers and the flatbread was amazing
My fiance and I hit up Three Monkeys once a month to celebrate. Its usually pretty busy, but they serve great drinks, great snacks, and just all around great ambiance. Will continue going every month until I move out of NYC.
Love the atmosphere and the food/drink menu. Lots of food options that suited many tastes. Service was quick and bartender was attentive.I swing by whenever Im in the area.
Amazing staff! Brilliant beer selection!!!
Very very loud! A fun atmosphere and great draft beers. Wish I could use gone to see the comedy and will be back again for drinks!
Great drinks and great ambiance.
Nice place, good ambience, great food, good beer and awesome service and staff. Must go…
Super Nice Bar. You can sit outside or inside. While corona everyone keeps their distance and you can enjoy various drinks in a Safe distance to other customers. An absolute recomandation for everyone who wants to sip one, two or eight pints of dofferent Beers from all oder the World.Absolute recomandation!!
Nice place to have a beer and watch some sports
Great place to chill and have a few beers. Food and service fantastic. Awesome music choices.
Best place to catch the Patriots games. They play the sports audio, and once in a while they will have a DJ who will mute the game during commercials to play music. So thats cool. The warm cider is amazing.
Our group of coworkers comes here often for happy hour. Suggest calling ahead to reserve a table if youd like a spot to keep as your home base. Most table tops are reserved.
Good food, decent service. a great sports bar in midtown -- make a reservation for the upstairs area if youre going to have a group of people. perfect for football Sundays.
Great service, food and drink. Christina provided execelent, friendly service. The beer selection is very broad at a good price point. Got the hamburger and it was good and cooked as I ordered.
Horrible New Years Eve. Total rip off! Only put 3 stars so hopefully it will show in reviews. Advertised a buffet, meanwhile only cheap hors d’oeuvres. Expensive and not worth it.
The place wasn’t conducive to host a large event that we had planned. The service was great but we were in a tight spot with a lot of people.
My favorite wing spot in Manhattan (fight me). Patio is dog friendly, and the beer list is always on point.Comedy shows are upstairs every night, which I recommend for a nice laugh.
Stopped here on a pub crawl. Our bartender Niall recommended the nachos and they were absolute fire. 5/5 love this place and it’s service.
Delicious food. Crispy delicious fries. Good drinks. Attractive presentation. Poor service. Service sucks. Did not serve friends food at same time. Did not refill water. Did not offer another drink.
The Moscow mule was delicious and refreshing even on a cold winter day. The Mac and cheese and wings were great. Service was great! Can’t complain.
Andrew the bartender was wonderful (sorry for hitting the thumbs down again!)
Strong drinks. Tasty burgers and fries. Friendly waitress/barstaff. Interesting name. Comfortable bar décor. Minus a point for uncomfortable bar stools and nowhere to hang bags/jackets. Check didnt make me have a heart attack after 2 drinks and an entrée. Id definitely come back!
Drinks, food and the nights of comedy are free shows. The host and owner hilarious, and she created her stage from the roof top which was actually kool and unique. Go support 2 thumbs👍🏾👍🏾up
The place is good during the day i believe. The late night menu and service is pretty bad. The food i ordered was so bad it gave me the sick. Chicken tenders were supposed to be tenders but they were so hard. The drink was not good as well. The girls bartending in the day/evening are very good with making them. Late night it just sucks. Also, it does not open beyond 1:30am im guessing since i went there at 2 and it was shut 2 days. So don’t trust the ‘open till 4 am’ bit.
We came in for Afternoon drinks around 1pm. Christina treated us well. We ate appetizers food was good and it was very relaxed atmosphere. No rush
Bathrooms were flooded, they only had one for us to use which had a 29 min. long line. We spent like 5 grand for a private room, no discount was offered for the inconvenience .
Great midtown bar. Really good bar food. Gets a bit crazy and service is a tad slow when busy. But normally good.
One of my favorite pubs. Large, many TVs, the food is good and huge selection of beers. Staff is friendly. No downside to this place really.
Good beer selection, Great location, really good food and very friendly Staff. We always pop in when in New York. Will be back 😎🇺🇲🍻 Cara was our bartender, and she was great.
Good atmosphere. Lots of great craft beer. Didnt try any food but it had very intriguing choices.
Great location and lively atmosphere
Perfect oasis in NYC to watch the Olympics.
The wait staff are extremely helpful and sweet. They went out of their way to find us at the bar when a table became available even though they could have just seated other people (we wouldnt have been any wiser for it if they did). A great place to unwind at the end of a long week and catch up with friends.
Good food menu, decent beer list and excellent service even though we were there with a fairly large unruly group. Made for a great evening.
Wide selection of beers and excellent food.
Really fun spot, great food, nice wait staff and has Irish has bartenders. Loved everything except for pretty expensive. What else can you expect in midtown though?
Great atmosphere and fantastic beer selection. Relaxing yet fun. Thanks Maggie for the great beer suggestion!
Absolutely fantastic atmosphere and staff were lovely too! Great cocktails and the food was delicious :)Definitely recommend a visit.
Went here for a work happy hour. Was a little over crowded. A standard midtown bar. Bar food was pretty good but nothing special.
Had to get a bartenders attention after being passed up a few times to let the girl know I needed a beer menu whenever she had the chance (thats talking their language when you say, when you have the chance because that gets your drink faster) and I got it. She wasnt ignoring me she was just getting ready to switch shifts with the other bartender. From then on the (new shift) bartender always made sure my glass full as soon as it went empty.I💚 NewYork
Great beer menu, but be warned that the full list isnt available upstairs at the bar--which is important if you prefer dark beers (get your drinks from downstairs).
Really glad we stopped by after our show. Just a fun place.
Great value for what you get! Beer options are solid as well as brunch drinks if youre into that. Fries could be improved as a good proportion of ours were over-crunchy but the burgers hit the spot nicely. A slightly divey feel with music that didnt drown out the conversation contribute to the already better than average experience
Tasty sliders, good prices. Would definitely recommend. Seating could be more comfortable but for being this close to Times Square, its a great pick!
Came here for dinner and a couple of drinks before an event at Carnegie Hall.Food and service was excellent.Would definitely come back again.
Food is portioned small, but it’s just the right amount of food you want to eat while drinking. The beer list is extensive and reasonably priced for the area.
Just do yourself a favor find a different sports bar. burgers smaller than your palm, waiter constantly rushing you beer is okay and fries environment trash
This is our go-to bar to see Packers playing. Vibrant atmosphere. Decent food. Always having Cigar City beer here.
I organized a small post Broadway show and birthday gathering here. I was surprised at the quality of their food. Most bars usually have subpar food not Three Monkeys. All my colleagues and I had a good time and enjoyed the food. Staff could have been a little more attentive. They werent that busy but we had to flag them down to get drinks and food orders in. This is the only minor thing about this bar I could gripe about. Beers are about $7-$8 and drinks $10 customary for the area. They also have happy hour from 12am onward. The food ordered :Sweet Potato Puffs: Enough for 2 to share. Tasty and a different take on Sweet Potato fries. I loved these and the rest of my group also agreed this was the best from the food we sampled. They come with a dipping sauce.Marconi cheese bites: fried balls of Macaroni & cheese. These were pretty good and tasty as well.Calamari: The calamari was surprisingly good. Better than ive had at some restaurants. This is another example of the good quality of the food options available at this place.Regular French Fries: These were the biggest disappointment. Bland didnt have a lot of flavor. Id skip em and try another side order or version of fries.Sliders: You can pick 3 different flavored sliders per order. These were really good as well. The meatball one was my favorite.Fry Nachos: these are the fries version of Nachos. They taste good and it seems like a good idea but nacho chips just work better. The fries get soggy and its a bit harder to eat by hand. Wish they had a version with actual nacho chips, maybe they do, but I didnt notice it on the menu.I would definitely come here again. Nice bar to meet with friends and munch on quality bar food and some drinks. Apparently on Saturday they have dancing, which should be worth checking out. #skinnyfatbastardnyc
Really good place for a quick bite and beer! The portions are a great size and the restaurant has a nice cozy feeling.
Small serving and pricey but disco fries and wings were good. Quite a selection of beers.
Great atmosphere, didnt feel too crowded and the $10 comedy show was worth the price, but results may vary.
Really good vibes and really good service. Was accidentally served the wrong drink and it was corrected soon after by the servers. Great experience overall. Would come again!
This place is great. I threw a surprise birthday party for my friend in the upstairs bar. The management was so accomodating and the bartenders were friendly and attentive. Even the barbacks were friendly! I definitely recommend Three Monkeys.
Great area happy hour spot - $5 beers and $6 wine. Delicious sliders. Calamari was super spicy.
We had our team gathering here right after the NYC Half Marathon. They have a perfect space upstairs for groups, great food and a nice selection of drinks!
One of my favorite bars i ever went to ... Also the best DJ Ive come across at a bar. Also everyone seemed to have fun. Highly recommend
A gem. Fish and chips are Fabulous! With a glass of Guinness....perfect lunch or light dinner. Great place, near Times Square!!!
Great space go hang out for drinks if you are in the city. The food is good and the staff is nice. Wings are great!
Great little spot on 54th. Cold beer on tap & some yummy appetizers made a great place for a bite before a play at Studio 54. Highly recommend!!
Great sports bar, great ambianceA lot of choice of draft beers, awesome
