We visited this place on Christmas eve. Place had a good vibe. Drink and food options are good. I wish service was better. I dont want to mention name but she was right behind us and passing time, talking to others and we were literally waiting and waving at her to order. Except that food is great, drinks are great. Vibe is good.

Nice spot. The food was good and the atmosphere was as well. There was a private party taking place in the backroom, so we ate at the bar. Santa was even there, spreading Christmas cheer. Fun bar.

During quick visit to New York that coincided with the first night of the Yankees Dodgers, World Series game, we popped into this sports bar for dinner. Lucky to get a nice corner seat and enjoy the happy hour beverages… Five dollar beers - you just can’t beat that! The buffalo wings and French onion soup were perfect for a light dinner. Thanks to our servers - who were working their tails off on a very busy evening. They were friendly and kind!

We were looking for a quick eat and The Junction looked pretty nice from the outside. There was an ice hockey game shown on all screens and even though nobody seemed to watch it the volume was cranked up to eleven so it was not possible to talk to each other.We ordered food and drinks anyway and got okay-ish Pub Food. The buffalo wings were decent, but it would have been nice to get more than two tiny sticks of carrots and celery. The Vegan Burger tasted okay, but was burned terribly. The fries were somehow burned but still mushy.But in the end its only pup food so I am giving four (weak) stars. For the price they ask for the food I expected somewhat more.Maybe next time will be better...

We loved it here! Its very cozy and chill. Maybe not the Gen Z crowd but hey, thats a plus for some people. We went on Friday and they did awesome karaoke - no line or sign up necessary. A little squished and hard to get a seat but hey, its New York.

Came in for a quick happy hour drink and snack and had an absolutely phenomenal time! Major shout out to our server, Roisin for being so attentive and caring, bringing a samples and being so generally sweet. Definitely would recommend this place after an afternoon in time square!

My wife and I were visiting the city and our daughter recommended this restaurant. We were very happy we went. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff was very friendly, and we had good conversations with the locals.

My friends and i went here one of our nights in NYC and it was honestly the most fun i’ve ever had at a bar. Great atmosphere, great energy, amazing bartenders/servers. We went on karaoke night and it was a BLAST! Not too crowded but so much energy all the same. They really made us feel welcome and even joined in the fun of the karaoke, i loved every minute. i would absolutely go here again and recommend to anyone visiting nyc. (order the nachos, they were incredible)

Coincidentally stumbled upon this bar with a friend yesterday when I noticed they have a trivia night every Monday at 7. Our server Tommy was also lovely and chatty! Like previous reviews mention, the crowd is not very Gen Z, but I found that refreshing! Would definitely go again for trivia nights if I could!

This Lexington Ave midtown NYC location hit the spot for an informal Holiday late afternoon gatheringl. The food was very good for what it was. Burger and chicken sliders, small fried chicken bites with various dipping sauces, fries, pigs in blankets, large pretzels, wings and tater tots. It all tasted good, the drinks were fine and service very good. Its a nice place for a quick bite and a drink.

The place was very noisy and crowded. Didn’t like the nachos. Wings were good. Ginger ale was refill. Prices reasonable

Loved this place! You can’t beat their happy hour deals! It was packed but the service was quick! I got a drink within minutes of arriving! Didn’t try any of the food but it did look and smell great! They also have some pretty great lunch specials too!

We were looking for a place to watch a soccer game within walking distance of Grand Central and this place fulfilled those criteria. Though it does have a lot of TVs for watching sports, it has more of a pub vibe than a sports bar vibe. It has a lot comfortable seating around the perimeter, as well as small tables throughout. I never looked at the menu since they still offer it via QR code on your phone but they have generous happy hour offerings. The wings we had were great and the service was friendly and attentive. If I ever want to watch a game in this area again, I would definitely come back here.

Have been coming here for 8? 9 years?. Was just telling a friend how it’s probably my favorite bar in the city and felt compelled to come leave a review. So many memories and happy times with friends. Love the Junction. Service, drinks, atmosphere, food, 10/10. It’s homey, comforting and a tried and true spot that never lets me down.

Great little spot that has a happy hour between 11am and 7pm most days (cant remember exactly due to the happy hour itself).Grabbed a burger and a few beers and the staff were very friendly. Good number of TVs playing sport. Highly recommended if youre in the Grand Central area.For any tourists, whenever you see home fries that usually means potatoes with some type of sweet spices mixed with chopped onions and peppers. Always go for French fries.

Love this place. It’s a hidden gem in this neighborhood. Looks and feels like a dive bar without the nasty smells and bad service. Staff is friendly, drinks are relatively cheap, and there’s more room in the back that you don’t expect. Cozy yet big enough for a small gathering or even a birthday party if you’re looking for something super laid back.

Dive-ish bar on Lex near Grand Central with a relaxed vibe and happy hour drinks specials. Great place to grab a drink and a bite during lunchtime or after work. Service is always friendly and the crowd is usually a decent mix of locals and workers.

Always pop into the Junction while staying at the Shelburne up the street. Consider it our local as we go in there everyday !! Great staff (Niall is an amazing bartender) and customers. I happened to discover this bar with a friend yesterday, and we noticed they host trivia nights every Monday at 7 PM. Our server, Tommy, was friendly and engaging. As others have pointed out, the crowd isnt predominantly Gen Z, but I actually found that to be a nice change of pace! Id certainly return for trivia nights whenever I get the chance!

Solid 4 for this place. Nice happy hour and friendly patrons/wait staff. This became our go to while visiting. Typical bar food, laid back environment and helpful bartender. Hit all the marks for my wife and I . (Early 30s) but there were people of all ages having a few here. Well done.

This is a great little neighborhood bar in Murray Hill. There was a DJ on Friday night but sports on the many big screens was definitely the draw for most of the patrons. Good service, nice vibe.

I wish I had tried the food, because the wings looked and smelled amazing. Unfortunately I only had a drink - something similar to s mojito - and whatever rum was in it was terrible. Totally on me for not saying something and trying another. Bartenders were really friendly. We got it right before 4pm and it was empty. But within 30-45 mins, it was standing-room-only. Apparently a popular place. Unfortunately I can only rate off of one bad drink. I give it the higher rating for service and atmosphere.

If I could leave a lower score I would! We were very excited to try out this place and heard the specials were great, only for us to be avoided and not served at all! The waitress went to all tables but did not come to ours. We finally got up to leave and was treated by the waitress giving us a bad attitude. Very terrible experience

The only bar we could find open at 2am on Thursday night in the area. It was simple and enjoyable. The bartender knows her job and made us nice Hendricks & tonics.

Great food and drinks in a comfortable leather booth, brick walls and long 14+ seat bar atmosphere. Nice selection of drafts with an extensive liquor selection. Spent New Year’s Eve here and had a great relaxed time. Amy is an awesome waitress that’ll take great care of you. The rest of the bartenders and waitstaff are also attentive with great recommendations for when you’re looking to be surprised. The kitchen is often open until midnight with affordable menu options. Bottom line, it’s an upscale feeling sports bar that makes you feel like a local.

Found this place on our 1st night close to our hotel. It was so lovely decorated for the holidays , the atmosphere was wonderful, the prices great for NYC and Dave and Roisin gave us wonderful service. The food was great too. Thank you all for being so nice. Slainte

This bar was super crowded when I went. If you choose this place as your meeting place be sure your friends show up early to get seating. I sat in the back, which eased the burden of maneuvering between groups with a beer and its close to the restroom.

My friends and I are in town for a couple days and this place is really close to our hotel. The staff is friendly, witty and a lot of fun. Their bar specials are reasonable and keep us coming back for more.

I’ve been here on many occasions. It’s one of the best bars in New York for its atmosphere, food and especially the staff and owners !!!

So this might not be the most beautiful bar in the area but the happy hour specials are good and it never seems to be too uncomfortably crowded. All in all a good place to go after work if youre not too boujiee.

I met my cousin for a meal at another restaurant on the 27/02, who I hadnt seen for about a year as he lives in the states and I was over from Scotland for a holiday, he suggested that we go for a beer after our meal, we happened to notice this bar across the road and decided we would pop in for a beer. The bar wasnt that busy which suited us fine as we were catching up. The atmosphere was great and the company was great. The barman was terrific and very chatty to us, we also met Diana (your name isnt that bad) I think she worked there and was finished her shift and we got chatting to her as she was a fellow Scot. What turned out to be a one or two drinks turned out to be more than a few, as the atmosphere was very convivial and relaxed, will definitely go back to this bar the next time Im back in New York. If the atmosphere in the bar is anything to go by I can only assume the food would be equally as good. Thanks for a good night, the barman and Diane

Stumbled across this great bar on the way back to the hotel. We really fancied some simple and tasty American food and it didn’t disappoint. The Irish lady who served us was friendly and attentive. The food was great and the happy hour ale was tasty! If local, definitely pop in. Seemed to have loads of local people in there with live NFL on a few screens. Didn’t feel overly sporty which is nice. It’s probably a 5 minute walk from Grand Central.

Love this place actually. It’s the coziest, especially during the holidays. Made it our start to the mandatory city evening including perusing Grand Central, and skating at battery park, and (gasp) the tree at Rockefeller. Sets the mood off right, even for a jaded New Yorker.

Fantastic little bar we stumbled across on our last night. Great beers, fab shots, and the whole bar singing happy birthday to me was bloody wonderful. Niall is the consummate bartend and I can safely say we’ll be back!

Listen, I make Chili, Good Chili at home, Im known for it amongst family and friends. The Chili at the Junction absolutely Slaps! Everyone else also enjoyed their items at the table. Whatever sauce comes with the tots is also quite good.

Great vibe to the place, they went all out on Halloween decorations which was a fun touch. Good service and the burger was amazing. Never really eaten in NYC pubs before so not sure if this the norm but was surprised about the quality of the food, so tasty and fresh.Cant wait to return.

This cozy bar in midtown Manhattan shows a great example how a vociferous tavern can also be restful for people who just got off from their long day. Tasty beers and attentive service. Their happy hour is like until 8pm if I remember it correctly. And that’s some true “happy” we are talking about.

A quaint bar prominently located on Lexington, this place is great for post work hangouts. The happy hour lasts till 8 which is great and the happy hour food is pretty impressive too. The servers are helpful and pleasantly chatty. Their recommendations were quite commendable. The place is pretty popular among locals. You might find it difficult to find a spot during rush hours.
