Amazing chicken tenders. I mean truly amazing gourmet level. But it just comes without fries which I didn’t realize. So it was 12.99 for chicken tenders and 6.99 for fries ( a little steep for fries). 5$ draft beer on Sundays from 7pm - midnight is hard to beat. Good atmosphere if you want a chill environment to watch sports.

Amazing spot to watch sports and grub on some good bar food. This place also gets rowdy late night with a lively crowd. I came in to watch some college football the other day and ordered some chipotle bbq wings and fried pickles. The wings were delicious and they have 8 flavors to choose from. Fried pickles were amazing too. They have plenty of TVs and a bunch of local beer on tap. There’s an upstairs as well so plenty of room for games and late night dancing.

Havent been here in over 15 years. Saw I was in the area for set and I had to stop by. The little bit of time I got to spend here certainly brought back the old memories of dropping shots into beers back in the day. The setup has certainly been updated, and the many TV screens really make sure that you see the game from anywhere. I ordered the sliders and they were very good and the onions really gave them a nice flavor. Ryan the bartender was funny, attentive and brought a lot of personality to the spot. I would recommend a visit from anyone. ♨️💯☺️

Just wanted to share that I use to come to this place in college and revisited it for the first time in 15 years the other night and couldn’t believe how nice the staff was! Bartenders were really cool and attentive. I got a little too happy and forgot my phone on a table and staff member gave it to the bartender (hence the selfie attached to this review haha) I had to post as these guys gave me such a laugh when I saw this photo the next morning:-) They were both stellar and one even patted my forehead because I was so sweaty! ❤️❤️🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽

New noteWe visited the place on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Our party took a booth and after we sat down a new member of our party came with the service animal. As soon as he sat down the attendant ran over yelling outside outside when we asked the attendant as to the reason why he’s telling us outside the attendance said that dogs are to remain outside . We exited the establishment and looked for a place to set. We were surprised to learn that there is no place outside to sit and that we had just been kicked out of the restaurant. We went back in and asked the attendant as to whether there is any outside seating, which he immediately said no. We said that the person who came had disabilities and his service animal had all the documentation to prove those disabilities, but the attendant said that the owner does not allow dogs of any kind and the establishment. We indicated that this is illegal behavior under the Americans with disabilities act of 1990 to which the attendance said that the owner has never been sued to denying service to person with disability so far. We were disgusted and requested the contact of the owner to which the attendance said that he doesn’t have the contacts and we should just simply go online. Our group feels that this would not be worth going to court with and indeed we don’t have the werewolf to sue the owner for this type of behavior. At the same time, we know that this behavior is illegal and feel that the restaurant should alter its policies and make amends. Should we get discouraged? Or simply let it go.

I don’t post reviews here usually, but after what happened yesterday night (a Thursday), guess I have to.I’m just visiting NYC for a week from France, and I work and study in North America. I planned to meet a friend living in the city yesterday, to get one or two drinks in what he told me was one of the best bars in the city, though I arrived around 10 min too early at the place and since it was cold outside, decided to enter alone to wait inside and order our drinks in advance. At the second I arrived, I saw the security team was pushing a guy outside the bar, (which isn’t the most welcoming atmosphere but anyway, I didn’t knew the reason of why this fight happened so I can’t really speak about that) and I gave them my ID: I’m 21 and legal so there’s no issue here.I was wearing nice clothes, but I did walk in the city the whole day, and I extremely needed to use the restroom to pee, which is the first thing I did when I entered the bar : note I didn’t consume any alcohol during the day or before and knew perfectly what I was doing, I wasn’t causing any trouble, didn’t spoke to anyone at the bar and my friend wasn’t even here yet.At the second I finished using the restroom and was cleaning my hands, a guy entered to the restroom, asked me to leave the bar, and began presenting himself as a security guy. I didn’t understood what was happening and asked him why (I thought he was some drunk customer that simply was making a bad joke for one second …). The only explanation he gave to me was that people don’t use the restroom for no reason (???), told me that he didn’t care about what I was saying and began pushing me, violently, in front of everyone, and told me that I’m not getting back inside, this just before he closed the door almost on my face.I go out a lot in restaurants and bars, in different countries, and that is the first time a situation like that happened. I still don’t get the reason of why and I’m still speechless by this humiliating situation. Imagine you’re travelling to NYC, a city of dreams for all generations, all demographics, and that is how your first night is going. I don’t know if xenophobia is the reason, if the security guy (if he really is a security guy btw, but I assume he is since the people at the door saw the scene and didn’t said anything), wanted to impress someone at the bar, if he thought I was someone else, but whatever the explanation is, this whole situation is absolutely intolerable. I don’t know how this bar selects the people that are supposed to work as security guys, that are here to protect the customers from any trouble, but I’m really curious to know …

For starters, they dont put the game audio on for ANY game (not even the hometown team(s) ). Instead, they play music loudly (like a club would). Also, the TVs are placed quite high above your head, so it almost feels like youre down in the front row of a movie theater, constantly looking up and possibly straining your neck to do so. The food menu is somewhat limited, but not terrible. Just dont come expecting anything gourmet.Having said all of that, I DID have a good time there (12:30pm - 8:45pm), soooo 🤷🏽‍♂️ (LoL)

When he finally agreed to go to I was pretty excited. We sat at the bar and ate there. The service was ok, I dont expect much. The manager was a little distracting, yelling out things to different people...he was a bit much. I had the appetizer thing where you can pick 3 from a list of different things and I picked the mozzarella sticks (I was starving)The food looked really sloppy...super sloppy actually. The chips were super stale...yes, stale! Gross! The little burgers were overcooked and 1/2 the size of the bun they came on and there was sauce all over the plate. It looked gross. I was super disappointed. I didnt want to be one of those cranky people who complain that their cheap meal was bad...but I thought about complaining about the burgers and the fries, I just didnt have the energy. This experience reminded me why Id only been to Off The Wagon once in my life...and the second time was worse than the first. (At least I had a yummy dessert after at the diner). The Owners of Off The Wagon should be ashamed of themselves, peddling this crap as service.

Its a decent place with an upstairs and downstairs bar, some booths to sit and eat bar food. Gets pretty crowded on the weekends with college kids. Had the chicken quesadilla with cheese. It was horrible. It was soggy and barely contained chicken. The young wait staff was pleasant enough, but disappeared alot. Partly because she was chatting with other college kids, partly because she was taking care of orders. Drinks were decent. Had Stella Artois, so not sure about there more heavier drinks. Music was a combo of rnb, dance, salsa, and hiphop. We got lucky in getting a booth seat, just as we were about to leave (due to overcrowding). If you are young and looking to socialize, dance and have drinks this is the place to go. Not good for 30+ year olds or for date nites. Must have ID. West 4th/Christopher St area is basically college town. Several block radius in any direction are bars/clubs where young people are out in full force (as they should be, there young). There are places for grownups you just have to look for them or know the right places to go. As for Off the Wagon if you are under 30 and 21 and older. Its a cool spot to hang with your friends. A diverse set of young people from various backgrounds and cool music. Im older and there were some old school hits that played which was nice. Hope this post is helpful. Wouldnt recommend there food, but there nachos and salsa was good and more edible. Stick to that and drinks 😊😁

Average college bar. Gets over crowded with NYU students on weekends. They have drink specials just about every weekday. Monday nights are dollar beer nights if youre down for bland beers like bud light or coors. Beer pong if youre in that mindset or age bracket where that kinda thing is still your bag.

The REVIEWS R Trippin!!! The bartender & the bouncer are the coolest peeps. A lot of foreigners from Europe I guess have bad experiences because it’s not the same entry attitude like the Pubs. The new disco 🪩 ball is amazing! And the music with the 2nd floor entry is High-End but the drinks are CHEAPPP & very fresh!I went Wednesday night before they closed and I have a great time with the few friendly people that actually will talk to strangers in a cool laid back environment, ESPECIALLY IF YOUR A INTROVERT 😅 COME TO THIS PLACE!

This place is fantastic! I stumbled in some years ago - no pun intended. During the day (read 11am to 8pm) you can catch a game and if you are smart enough to go to one of the comedy clubs nearby, you will catch a lot more than a game here after that. I’ve been here multiple times and have always come back - for good reason. If you get a chance to meet PJ behind the bar - it’s all in your favor! What a superb gentleman!
