Cuisine from Spain and Venezuela. It was good. A very warm and friendly service. I had the jam croquettes, but I was a bit disappointed; it was not what I was expecting. However, the Rice with shrimp ajillo it was excellent, as well my paella with chicken. Highly recommended the tres Leches dessert.
Thrilled!! I am vegan and was delighted to find this spot on my way from a Broadway show. Ate at the bar and had the best vegetable paella since my time in Malaga. I WILL be back. Dont pass this place up. Friendliest, most attentive wait staff Ive encountered for a long time. Whenever trying a new restaurant I first get their coffee, black. I know if I love the coffee, Ill love the food. Its a proven formula! Start with the coffee. And enjoy this delightful place. Chefs Kiss. 💋
The atmosphere, the customer service and especially the food are 1000/10 delicious. I like the variety they have and the flavor. The guys Lorena and Alejandro are always present and give you the best recommendations if its your first time at the restaurant. My favorites from the menu:Food: the shrimp tapas with garlic and chistorras, the Venezuelan sandwich and of course the paella and their sangrias: the one with red fruits is my favorite.
The food was delicious and fresh. The set up and staff created a cozy and cultural experience for my family and I. We’d come back, por supuesto!
Loved the burrata with sweet pepper relish and the montaditos Venezuela appetizers, the chicken paella was amazing! Def coming back!
This paella restaurant has an incredible 4.9 rating from over 1200 people but I would give it a 3.5 on a generous day. The paella was not good - it lacked flavour, the mussels were steamed separately and placed on top. There were no saffron nor crusty burnt bit. The entrees were decent. We had tomato toast with anchovies, cassava fries, and garlic prawns. Its close to Times Square so perhaps most of the reviewers were undiscerning tourists relieved to get away from the crowds. In contrast, the service was very lovely. Different staff members would check in on us as they passed by.
Excellent experience! The food was delicious and the service amazing. Chef Enrique is great 😃. We ordered the camarones al ajillo, beef empanadas, sea food paella and red sangria. Suuuuuuper delicious! We are definitely coming back and bringing our friends. Thank you EZ Paella!
I have to say that the food was amazing and the service even better. Our server was totally pleasant and quick with a smile, recommendation and service. We had a few tapas that I would definitely recommend like the croquettes, tostones that I mispronounced lol.. we had empanadas both Chicken and Beef excellent choice. We topped it off with the famous Seafood Paella that was Delicious we ordered three and we left feeling like we needed a tow truck. The Passion Fruit Sangria get the Big One because it was delish. Definitely a 5 star and will be back for both the food and service. It’s a 4.8 rating and it definitely 💯 was worth it. Service with a smile 😊 prices are reasonable. Enjoy… oh wait dessert was scrumptious yes the crème brûlée, flan, tres leches and the Churros 😋 Best service ever and the owners are surreal love them 😘
Easily the best paella and tapas I had in a very long time. Staff were extremely polite and friendly, would love to visit again when next in NYC!
There’s no words to describe the amazing service EZ Tapas provided. I wanted to do something nice for my husband and I as our 15 year anniversary was coming up. I called EZ Tapas and made a reservation I asked if they could do something special for us as I was surprising my husband with Spanish food. Everyone who attended us were very nice and attentive and went above and beyond for us. I truly recommend this place!!!!!!
EZ Paella & Tapas, great place for a variety of Spanish & Venezuelan dishes. First time here I tried Yuquitas con Chimichurri & Patatas Bravas. Love the flavors and spices, it was wonderful food. They have fantastic customer service & hospitality. The drink menu is to die for with homemade Sangria to premium wines. Stop by EZ Paella & Tapas great for couples, families, and friends.
The food was great. Amazing food. While there all other customers eating here were talking about how the food was great. Coming again soonUpdateCame back the next day. Once again amazing food. Had the seafood paella it was greatThank you Henry for the service
Awesome paella. The seafood paella had a ton of seafood and was very flavorful. Service was wonderful and the owners were present and very kind. Highly recommended!
The combination of Spanish and Venezuelan cuisine is perfectly executed in this restaurant! Henry our server helped to recommend us some of his favorite dishes, I highly recommend the arepitas. They came out pillowy and soft with a wonderful crust on them. A person in our group was a vegetarian and there were more than enough meat free dishes for them to enjoy themselves alongside us. The atmosphere, food and service were all 10/10!
Amazing food best tapas & paella I’ve had in ages!!!
Small quaint location with a lot of good vibes. Chef Alex and Chef Lorena make you feel at home, is like visiting friends on a Sunday afternoon . Everything is delicious , I am in love with the red pepper sauce, the land and sea paella, the variety of delicious tapas, the Spanish beer, the only paella burrito in the world featured on Food Network! and the scrumptious desserts made by Chef Lorena. It is a well hidden gem in NYC. 100% recommended.
The food here is so absolutely amazing… every dish was delicious and cooked to perfectionHighly recommend the Albondigas
Service is good and quick, but it’s more the food that was just ok for us. We got quite a few tapas, the chicken quesadillas and mango shrimps being our favourite. We also got the seafood paella. For 29$, we expected a bigger plate to share but it’s basically just enough for 1 person (and we’re not big eaters). The taste was just ok too, we’ve had better. It’s pretty average, maybe it was a fluke because the reviews seem very high
By far the best tres leches of my life. Paella was also great and I highly recommend the land and sea paella. My spouse liked the spicy sauce add on a lot as well, but it’s definitely SPICY.
We had dinner for 8 friends and Lorena the owner comes over and shares the menu with us recommended her favorite dishes from her country Venezuela and Spain, we order everything she recommended. Everyone loved the food and the experience. If you want to create a memory that you will never forget with friends I would highly suggest going. Lots of food for the price.
We loved this hidden gem in the middle of Hell’s Kitchen! The food fusion is unique without losing its traditional essence. The service is amazing and personalized. The owner is extremely attentive and welcoming. If you sit at the bar you are able to view the chef cooking your food. Don’t miss out on this place!
Food was alright. Seafood paella didnt have that much flavor. The burrata was pretty good though, the sweetness added a lot to the dish. I do wish they used a bigger piece of bread.Overall pretty pricy and because of the area its super touristy.
This was my first meal in NYC and it was wonderful. The food was delicious and our waiter Henry was fantastic. He gave us some recommendations and they turned out delicious. The passion fruit sangria was refreshing and the paella is definitely worth it.
Heard about this place on Here B Bare videos. Trust, the food is wonderful and so favorful, plus lovely service. The sangria, passion fruit, was oh so refreshing and delightful. We had the seafood paella, the yucca, and the beef paella burrito. Service so on point, food served hot, and nicely presented. If in the area it is a must try. Close to all the broadway theaters.
Food was excellent 👌🏼 💯 of 💯Service super friendly. We sat by the chef table so we got some extra tapas for free 😋The place is small but the ambiance was great 👍🏼
The best meal of the year becuse the chef and his wife were such good hosts. The food was amazing and the experience was top notch. This chef loves to make people happy with his food and it shows. Make sure you consider his burritos. We had an amazing time. The food was off the charts. I strongly recommend this place you will not be disappointed. The tres letchas was the best I have had.
As a Venezuelan, I can attest that the food is authentic and good! All flavors are excellent and the uniqueness of some dishes as the Paella Burrito and cortitos with shredded beef and ripe plantain is just superb!
I like to recommend to everybody . I went there with a group of friends and my husband. Everyone loved the food This cozy restaurant has left the very best impressions! Hospitable hosts, scrumptious dishes, lovely presentation, servers are efficient , additionally nice and the entire time environment friendly, blissful and well mannered. Completely the very best meal we had whereas in New York. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. We found the paella & tapas and dessert to be excellent both in taste and presentation. We visited the place twice in our four day stay in NY . Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to advocate to anybody searching for someplace to eat in New York, this cozy & delicious place. We were at the Hell’s Kitchen location.
Incredible spot. The food is incredible — get the paella burrito. We ordered both the Venezuelan and Spanish tapas, everything was excellent. The service was impeccable as well.
We found this restaurant randomly on Google and I am SO glad we went. Its a tiny place and the food is DELICIOUS!! It was a bit loud inside but I think that likely depends on the crowd. We had Pincho Caprese, Shrimp Ajillo, Chicken Caribbean Paella and Albondigas Crocantes with EZ garlic sauce and I would recommend all of it, the food is so flavorful. Henry was a great server and we will definitely come back!
The food is AMAZING! The owners, Lorena and Alex fabulous! Lorena made suggestions on meals and explained which countries they were from — so fun and delicious! Next time in NYC we will definitely be back!
Food was delicious and the owners are very attentive. Will come back!
Update:Im back in the city for a few days, and of course, I had to stop at my favorite restaurant, EZ Paella. These guys never disappoint! If youre in NY, you HAVE TO try their food. Ask for the chefs Venezuelan special (just for a limited time). This is by far the best paella Ive had in NY. This place is a gem in the heart of the city.Alejandro and Lorena made sure my friends and I had a great time. Great food, drinks, and service. Oh, dont forget to try their desserts. Theyre absolutely delicious!!! Ill be back for sure.
Smaller spot, but that doesnt take away from the quality or speedy service.Fantastic food all around served fresh and hot. Definitely worth a visit. Added bonus: they have many GF and vegan dishes available.
Cute little place. Tapas were very tasty. And we liked that portion were on a larger size for Manhattan. Also, liked the variety and the fact all tapas come in 4 , so makes it easy to share among a groups.Definitely recommend !
This was by far one of my favorite meals ever! The cozy atmospher and friendly service by Claudia/and staff makes it a 5 Star establishment. When in New York, we will be back. My husband and I came here for his Birthday Dinner, before going to see Wicked! It exceeded our expectations!!!
My husband and I walked from Marriott Marquis to EZ PAELLA and fell in love with this cozy Spanish/Venezuelan fusion tapas restaurant! We had 3 tapas and the veggie paella and then followed up the meal by sharing Tres leches cake. Everything, the croquetas de jamón serrano, arepas with beef and fried plantains, and the traditional tortilla española, were extremely flavorful and were the perfect sizes to share. Dont leave without trying the white sangria! The entire dinner was so delicious! My husband and I highly recommend this restaurant and hope to be able to return soon!!
First visit! New York hidden spots!!!Server Henry was nice . He recommended Montaditos Venezuela ! 10/10Paella was also 10/10 👍🏻 seafood was fresh
Every dang meal has been 10/10. Theyre nice. Prices are reasonable for NYC. Generous portions. Just as an example: ordered a burrito, forgot then got there late, they called and politely reminded me. Hard to beat the service.
I bought a Groupon and took my daughter and granddaughter here for lunch. It was really difficult to get the baby stroller into the tight space, but Lorena helped us and was so sweet. We ordered the Empanada Gallega, Tortilla Espanola and Crema Catalana. The baby had a few bites and loved it, too. We were absolutely delighted by the powdered sugar smiley face served up with the decadently delicious dessert. The food was absolutely wonderful and the service was great. The red chandelier in the restroom is a great touch! The only downside is that it is very cramped and when there are patrons sitting at the bar, it is hard to get by to go to the restroom. I had to do so a few times because the baby dropped her teething toy twice.
Absolutely loved it here. Great service and enjoyed the tinto. Reminded me when I was Mallorca.
This is a great place for a big meal. It is a unique fusion of venezuelan food and spanish food. You can eat a variety of tapas and also wonderful paella. If you dont like seafood, their chicken paella is great too!. They also have a unique paella burrito ( all the paella goodness inside a burrito ) and its actually really good.Their arepitas (small fried arepas) with fried cheese and nata were to die for. Their fusion tapas were all very good (pabellon arepas, spicy meat balls, tequenos, charcuterie tapas and more). They have great service and all the food I tried was excellent!(Reservations recommended).
The reason I picked this restaurant because it was within walking distance of my hotel. The seafood Paella was OK. The saffron color was there, but not the taste. Also, it was served without a cast iron pan. Not up to standard. The Crème Brulee was average. Overall, Mercado Little Spain was better. Lower price too.I was there a day before.
Phenomenal Spanish- Venezuelan place. Beautiful and delicious cultural dishes, very warm staff, and the best desserts! Lovely presentation as well. 10/10, would definitely come back again! Oh and we had some yummy passion fruit sangria!
OMG! Amazing food. Excellent service and hospitality. Tried their seafood Paella , yuca fries, shrimp Appetizer, chorros and flan. Everything is too good. Totally recommend it. Cant wait to come back.
Glasses of homemade wine was big haha. Food was good. Tip was automatically added as 18%.
I had this place on my list of places to visit while in NYC and ended up stumbling across it while looking for a Thai place. It looked so good I ended up eating here instead. I spent a few years in Venezuela and can say that this place is not only authentic but also very delicious! Ended up meeting the owners and can see why they have been so successful regardless of opening at the start of the pandemic shutdowns. They are so kind and humble. I hope they can continue to expand and share such good food with many more!
Delicious and special food, small and intimate place, very good service and atmosphere. The entries were not big, but the pricing is good. The white sangria is recommended.Laura was great
DELISH! Huge selection of Spanish and Venezuelan tapas in addition to paella. Our server Henry was very friendly and didn’t rush us. Small restaurant which gives it an intimate vibe :)
This is a real hidden gem in Hell’s Kitchen. We sat at the bar and chatted to the owner whilst he prepared our food. Our paella and tapas were amazing.
Excellent food and ambience. The owners do their best to make you feel at home. We are definitely coming back again. Oh, we had Gambas Al ajillo, and seafood paella. For dessert Crema Catalana.
Excellent service, served by the owners. Spanish food is awesome, we tried some tapas and all were very good. Croquetas is what tasted the best in my opinionPeach sangria was also perfect. Not too sweet not too dry….
This place is a must! Best food so far. You have to try the Paella chicken burrito, so good. The people are wonderful. I cant wait to see you guys in Portland Oregon. Cheers
Stumbled upon this restaurant prior to a show, and was able to grab 2 seats at the bar. The owner was super helpful in recommending dishes and everything was delicious! Definitely recommend checking out! Hope to visit them again in Boston next time!
Great food and service. Cozy and friendly atmosphere. Will come back for sure.
This place you MUST go! Venezuelan food, so freaky delicious. And the lady Lorena is super nice, she makes sure you are enjoying the food and the service is 10 across the board. Will definitely go again.
Food was absolutely amazing. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating. Do not miss out on this place. I highly recommend it!!!
Service was okay. but the food was delicious 😋. we had for appetizers crochetas with morcilla yummy superbly tasty. we then followed with our main course paella burritos. unique flavors overall 9 out of 10 for me.
Wow wow wow what a cute little gem! This place is great I cant believe i walked past this place before.I started with a glass of wine and charcuterie then got some tapas. Definitely coming back. The staff was friendly and the service was great.
What an incredible restaurant. The food is jaw-dropping good and the staff is the kindest. The fusion between Spain and Venezuela is spot on. The flavors are AMAZING!!!! We ordered tons tapas and couldn’t get enough, we repeated the Montaditos. We will be back! What a perfect place to enjoy the most delicious food in NYC!!Thank you so much, we will be back in our next trip to NYC! Please open doors in Boston!!!! You would have clients for life :)
Thank you for your amazing service on my birthday. I appreciate the owner and staff. The food was to die for. I wish I could have taken more pictures. The burrata was amazing as well, very delicious
We were visiting NY from SF and were looking for a unique Spanish restaurant.Happy to say we found it!! Amazing service and food. The Spanish / Venezuelan fusion is unique and delicious. The passion Fruit Sangria was one of a kind!!
My nephew and his fiancé recommended this place. When I had a craving for paella, it was time to try it out. The food and service were great. Good recommendation.
Wow!! Tiny spot with loads of flavor. The food is amazing with a friendly staff. Would tell everyone to visit and would definitely come back again. Job well done!
Wonderful service and great menu! We had a great time here! EZ Paella has a delicious fusion menu so you will be spoilt for choice. Our favourites if the night were the patatass trufadas and the empanadillas. The Paella was also full of flavour. Expect a top tier dinner if you come here.
This is an absolute treasure of the restaurant! The service is excellent and the food is amazing. Their seafood is fresh and I personally love their scallop or prawns tapas to start. You also cant go wrong with their paella! For those of you who are gluten free all of their paella is gluten free! Finally their tres leches is a favorite dessert of mine! Overall 100/10 experience and food and will definitely be going back! (Try their peach sangria it’s delicious!)
This was the best Venezuelan and Spanish food we have had in a while. The owner and all of the staff were great hosts and very attentive. The owner’s “montadito” creation is incredible. We certainly will come back the next time we’re in NYC.
Fabulous food and even amazing service! Had the chorizo croquetas and spicy shrimp tapas and the shrimp was outstanding! The sauce was to die for. Then we had the chicken paella and lastly the churros to finish! Paella was great, had a lot of protein (added chorizo) and it was a very generous portion. Churros were great, crunchy and hot. Prices were all very very reasonable and woudl definitely come back again. The owners/chef came by our table to say hi and that was also a great, personal touch we enjoyed!
Tapas and sangria were fine. Wish they have Spanish tapas that have more garlic like Patatas a la Baezana. The menu was a mix of Spanish and Latin dishes. Sangria was a tad too sweet. The empanadas were ok but too bready.
So good! Split a paella burrito with my husband and the flavor was just incredible. The portion is large, prices very reasonable (and there are lunch specials!)Service was very good, restaurant was clean with a good atmosphere. Would definitely visit again!
I hit EZ Paella & Tapas because I was craving some paella and this place had a Google score of almost 5 stars with 1700+ reviews. I had no idea that along with the paella, they had a ton of dishes from Latin America. I chose the seafood paella (unfortunately, no squid ink paella here which i was a bit bummed about) and it was super flavorful and the mariscos were fresh. The paella was not too salty, soupy or the rice dry - the perfect consistency. I also tried the Scallops Ajillo, the Tequenos (like mozarella sticks but with empanada dough rather than friend with a panko-like crust) were amazing and the dough the used around them were fried to perfection. I also had a beer but I was tempted to try the passion fruit sangria that they also served there. I topped everything off with a tres-leches cake and that hit the spot. I highly recommend checking out EZ paella when you get that Spanish / Latin American food craving.
Honestly a very nice restaurant! Food was delicious (I had the quesadilla with beef, my sister the vegetable paella), it was served super quickly and the staff is really nice.We all would definitely visit again!
The experience was completely out of my expectations. The service, the ambience, the food. Henry made the experience even better. Professional yet very friendly. The Paella met the quality standards and still was a fast dish. The Paella Burrito IS A MUST. Not found anywhere else, definitely to return for.
The food was great! If you would like to try an authentic Venezuelan/ Spanish cuisine come to EZ paellas and tapas. It’s a small restaurant, pack with flavor, character and memorial experience.
My husband and I had reservations to have dinner after a show. No regrets! We started with a whole carafe of white sangria. Lol we’re calling Lyft any way! Then we had the shrimp with garlic sauce, crispy meatballs with potatoes, olives and feta, and croquettes. Oh so delicious!!!! I told my husband we’re coming back all the way from BK!!!We had the nerve to share a seafood paella with chorizo. All we can say is yummy. Oh yeah, we did order dessert as well. I had the Venezuelan flan and hubby had crème brûlée. The perfect ending to a perfect evening!
This unassuming tapas place is terrific!! Yes, upscale presentation is nice to impress and pay for it, but the food is what it is all about...agreed? I nabbed a seat at the open kitchen bar. Sangria Blanco, please! The hostess, Claudia was welcoming and informative. Great to watch Chef Enrique! Seafood Paella is heart warming. Muscles, shrimp, squid, baby scallops, peppers, saffron rice. All yummy tender! Ill be back.
The taste was just amazing. It tastes straight up from Venezuela. The service was kind and attentive and it was affordable. Recommend to book them in advance otherwise you might have to wait a little bit.
Food were good and staff were very friendly. Sangria was pretty big but not much alcohol. Would like to try some other dishes next time. Tapas were big so it was difficult to try several dishes.
Awesome place! Maybe not a fashionable one, but the chef is doing great. We ordered Sopa Picodilla, Quesadilla, Shripms, and Crème Brulé. Everything is marvelous.
Absolutely delicious food, and great, fast service. Highly recommend the Paella Burrito especially (we had it with chicken).
We ordered 6 plates for 3 people and left with as much food as we ate. Everything that came out was better than the last and the owner, Alex, catered to our every desire. He actually brought a few things out we didn’t order and OMG. May drive back from Philly just to eat here again.
This place SCHMACKS. Come here for awesome drinks and even better food!
Its the most romantic restaurant in Hells Kitchen, beautiful people, great tapas and THE BEST PAELLA. Love it, 👍, my favorite place. ❤️❤️, best option..
Its wonderful to have this new addition to the neighborhood! Delicious vegetarian options and incredibly friendly staff. We tried the arepitas (would definitely recommend!), veggie quesadilla and veg paella. The chef also gave us a side of spicy sauce which was aromatic and delicious.Easily the best veg quesadilla Ive had, and their quantities are generous. Would recommend!
We enjoyed a delicious dinner! Our server, Catalina, was so kind and offered great food and drink options. We had the tostones with beef appetizer and shared a seafood paella. Sangria and wine were perfect. Dessert was similar to crème brûlée and was the perfect finale to the meal. Highly recommend this restaurant!!
The albondigas ardientes was amazing!! The seafood paella was just as good as I expected, which is very good on its own, but I was not expecting simple meatballs to be so good.
Some of the best paella I’ve had since being Spain! All of the food we ordered was amazing.
THE BEST TAPAS IN THE CITY. The food and service was absolutely amazingly delicious. The restaurant is beautifully designed and very intimate. Hopefully you get Laura as your server, she is the nicest person and will move mountains for you.
Camarones al ajio- shrimp cooked to perfection, rice with a beautiful texture, balanced seasoning. They were most helpful in my finding something in their menu to accommodate my food allergies to tomato and pepper. Lovely people.
Best Paella, Tapas, Sangria in NYC and most importantly a very personalized service not only from the staff but by the owners Alex and Lore who are always ready to welcome you and make you feel like family.
Tapas were delicious, especially the shrimp dishes. Met up with friends and enjoyed a tasty selection of sangrias. Everyone was very warm and welcoming. Will return.
The most DELICIOUS Tapas with Venezuelan fusion! We started ordering and had to order more to repeat! The ‘montaditos venezuela’ are simply the most delicious tapas ever! The shrimp with mango are amazing, the croquetas españolas are out of this world. But the best part of this restaurant is to have the owners Lorena and Alex welcome you into their restaurant, giving suggestions and making you feel at home. What a wonderful find. Highly recommend!
Warm welcome, we had a delicious dinner. The tapas and the paella were yummy. We will come back
The food is DELICIOUS! I ordered the garlic shrimp and sautéed meatballs and they are both amazing. Owners are the most friendly people and really care about their food and the restaurant. I would come back over and over again.
If you’ve had a good paella, you probably know it’s not easy to find in Spain, let alone in the United States. But this place is the real deal. Owned my Spaniards, they definitely have a good idea of what they’re doing. The paella is excellent. Great spot on 9th Ave but small and easy to miss if you don’t know where you’re going. Excellent food, service and good portions and prices.
Celebrate my sisters bday! The place is awesome and so friendly! I love the server recommending the different tapas since it was our first time . But They were all great . My favorite was Monmomtadiyos It was delicious it had the meat plantain and cheese. So good.
Wonderful blend of 2 cuisines! Every dish was well made and tasty! The owners are great hosts. Will definitely be back!
Food was great. Empanadas, tequeños and juices were just amazing.
EZ Paella & Tapas is a must if you’re visiting New York! The Camarones Picante, Seafood Picante, and Tostones con Carne were all fantastic. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
Loved every second of my experience at the EX Paella, everything was authentic and delicious!Thank you EZ Paella!
Absolutely delicious! And out of the main “tourist” areas. This is one of those beautiful hidden gems!
Great food & friendly owners! Delicious blend of Spanish & Venezuelan foods, and fun to share. Be sure to get some sangria here too. Will be back again
Delicious dinner at EZ Paella! The sangria was yummy (and we even got a free sangria for mentioning Here Be Barre). We’ll definitely come back. My paella was to die for.
Great restaurant in hells kitchen. Our favorites were the potato bravos and the Albania’s meatballs which was my favorite curry of all time.Fun place. Great service.
Staff & Food were amazing! The tres leche was my favorite!! Will definitely be coming back here.
Wonderful atmosphere, the food fantastic! You gotta stop in the next time youre in New York. Alex and Loreena the owners were Incredibly kind. Their personalities are a light and delightful. The service was amazing. Thank you! Will come back again ❤️
Small ,lovely and friendly ambiance .I enjoyed their seafood Paella and Tres Leches cake which were delicious .It would have been nicer, if I had great Spanish music to enhance authentic Spanish dining .
Stopped in for an early dinner on Thursday. We ordered a few tapas and enjoyed them. The waitress was nice and it was good service.
EZ Paella was so good! Their fusion tapas were amazing! Our favorites were the Montaditos Venezuela and mango shrimp. We also ordered the tequeños (so good!), tortilla española, patatas bravas and the croquetas. Alex and Lorena were amazing hosts and proudly shared their passion for their food with our group. We can’t wait to be back!
We spent the day in Manhattan coming from Philly enjoying the city and wandered into this gem. We ordered 6 items to split between the 2 of us. Everything was awesome. We also had both the red and white homemade sangria. Awesome. Chef Alex made us a small special plate of risotto. Amazing. While experience amazing. Btw my 10 year old daughter had the. Chicken burrito. I had to try it due to every item being awesome. Burrito...awesome. 100% swinging by EVERY time we come to NY.
Cute little restaurant with mom&pop feel but DELICIOUS food! Everything tastes light and well seasoned, never greasy or heavy. Makes me feel like I traveled to Spain for a few hours while I eat here. Very friendly and helpful staff too!
The best tapas I’ve ever had. The plantain tostadas are like nothing I’ve tried before, could eat them everyday. Going back to try paella tomorrow!
STOP LOOKING FOR OTHER PAELLA RESTAURANTS. This is the ONE and the ONLY you have to go and have the best paella in town. The service was absolutely amazing and the flan to DIE. This is now a stop I have to do every time I’m back in New York.
Came for my birthday with my family, food was good enough. Service was a little off, felt like they weren’t paying much attention to the table, didn’t even offer water at the beginning and bring the entree’s in separate times.
Delicious apps, paella…highly recommend the shrimp paella burrito!! Also, the sangria is fantastic 😉 The service was wonderful, and the owners so friendly! We have a new place to go for paella in the city.
When a chef owner and his wife put their hearts in to what they love it translates in to a dining out experience that you will not forget! Dont miss this home cooking with tonnes of love added...
Delicious and very friendly service. The camarones Al ajillo and camarones en salsa de mango were especially delicious -- perfectly done shrimp that were tender and very succulent. The empandillas were also great!
The food was amazing. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Staff was friendly.
Amazing!! This restaurant is a must-try. Im a very picky eater and found myself loving all the dishes. The owners are so nice and sweet.
I pass by EzPaella every day to get home (I love a block away) and had always wondered if the paellas was as good as I had heard. And IT WAS!!!! 100% recommended! I came here for my birthday with my partner and I even got a tres leches slice as a gift. Great staff and service, thanks for a lovely night!!
First time here, and it wont be the last. In the middle of a bustling NYC neighbourhood is this delightful spot with delicious food and exceptional service. No disappointments; only a good experience. Recommend for locals and visitors.
My husband and I decided to share two entrees, a paella and a flan. The seafood paella was beautifully made and the tapas were so good that we decided to come back for more later in the evening. You should definitely get the tostones (really juicy) and the montaditos venezuela were really tasty!Everything was so good that we came twice on the same day: for lunch and a dinner with friends. For dinner we repeated the tostones, montaditos and tried other tapas as well - such as the tequenos, platano con queso, empanadas and camarones. All really tasty! Will come back more times!
This is my second review… its been a bit over a year and this place has not dissapoint at any of our visits, we come from Boston a few times a year and ALWAYS have to visit EZ Paella and Tapas! I recomend the seafood paella, croquetas, tequeños, and tres leches! They are perfect!! Give it a try!
Alex and Lorena have a wonderful place here. Great fresh food, prepared right in front of you, excellent friendly service - what a great find. We had a wonderful experience. Thank you! I highly recommend this establishment of you’re looking for a good meal, good company at great prices.
Generous tapas, fresh seafood, flavorful, original combo Spanish & Venezuelan. Calm atmosphere, unhurried attentive staff. Menu offers variety. Perfect pre-theater dining!
Very good fusion restaurant where the best of Spain and Venezuelameet.. Not pretentious, good portions and friendly staff. The kids loved it as well. Better reserve your space because its tiny!
A hole in the wall NYC place that has great food is open until 12 so one can get a bite after the theater. Another NYC gem.
Phenomenal food!!!Gentle swerving between Spanish and Venezuelan inspired dishes cooked to perfection! The fact that the staff and chef/own ser are so nice and welcoming just completes this truly amazing experience!
Amazing place to grab a bite to eat great atmosphere food was amazing it made my taste buds tingle with life I cant wait to go back with friends and enjoy
An excellent establishment. My second time here and I cannot recommend this place enough. Cheers!
A small spot in Hells Kitchen, I didnt really expect too much, but it delivered quite well. The paella looked and tasted great, maybe wouldve liked some spice to it - but still definitely high tier.
Great service. Thanks for providing us with latin food in our visit to New York City.
Amazing food, fast friendly service. Shirley and cataldo were exceptional in service and professionalism.
Fanny smell in the restaurant smells like toilets, restaurant was empy on a sunday for lunch Time. I don’t unferstand the 4,7 stars never trust the too highly rated restaurants. It was not real paella it was rice with seafood and overpriced.
The food was very good. The staff was helpful with the dishes to order and how much to order. The dishes were perfect for sharing with four people.
Nice place, delicious food, cozy atmosphere
I came down to the underground just to try it based on other peoples reviews. It was worth it. The food was great. (They gave free samples so I was sure I got the one I liked best.) The employees were all extremely friendly as well. Seemed to legitimately care that I had a good experience and enjoyed the food. Pretty impressive for a takeout place!
Excellent food! we had the olive and roasted red pepper tostados (crunchy and light), spinach and ricotta empanadas (very goof with the dipping sauce they provide), and land and sea paella (SO TASTY). For dessert, we had the churros (very warm and crunchy) and the tres leches cake (DELICIOUS).a great vibe, with very friendly and attentive staff. A truly excellent dining experience.
Good is great. I can highly recommend the paella burrito. There are a lot of vegetarian options. Maybe some obvious vegan options would be helpful. Staff were awesome. I highly recommend that you book in advance especially on the weekend.
Update: Warning!! This place charged me twice in two different days and with different prices!!! So if you pay with card be careful with this! They can try to charge you twice!———Old review: I wanted to take a picture of each meal, but it was so good that I only took one photo and then couldnt stop eating. The food is so good!!! Its a tasty, nongrassy mix of flavors with good equilibrium food!! I totally recommend this place. The atmosphere is excellent, the service is fast, and everything is perfect!! Thanks!!
Was recommended to us, and it exceeded all expectations. They are coming to Salt Lake City later this year (which is where I live)
Quite tasty! I stopped here after my visit to the gym and decided to get a free sample of the chicken paella for the heck of it - I wasnt disappointed in the slightest. I got the regular size chicken paella which is very reasonably priced for the portion that you get. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and filled me up. The workers are also extremely friendly and appear to take great effort into making your meal as fast (but efficiently) as possible, the wait time wasnt long at all.Definitely will be stopping by tomorrow!
I was there yesterday, food and service were amazing, I’ll come back with my family soon. If you go you should try the Paella it’s simply delicious.
Great spot to get some food before a show. The tapas were perfect with a huge selection and the sangria was delicious.
Fantastic tapas and paella! Special mention to the Albondigas Ardientes - it was amazing. Get it if you can handle a bit of heat
Went for a late lunch, great tapas and a tasty Paella. Even had a pretty authentic Sangria. Reasonably priced with great service.
Food and service were excellent. Highly recommend trying the Montaditos Venezuela.
Wonderful meal in an incredibly friendly environment. Will definitely be back to try more from the very appealing menu.
Absolutely amazing restaurant! So much flavor packed into lots of yummy dishes. Definitely try the empanadillas and paella!
Cutest little family owned spot. It’s Venezuelan fusion and everything is so good here. Try the scallops and the spicy seafood paella is good!
100% recommended! The food is fantastic!!! The service is fast and the restaurant has a great vibe! All the tapas were outstanding and the dessert (crème Brûlée) was out of this world! We will definitely be back soon!!!
The seafood paella was very yummy. The rice was cooked perfectly. Every bite of the rice was flavorful and the seafood wasn’t overcooked at all.
Best food in town!!!! Highly recommended
Great service and paella, reasonably priced. The tapas are amazing.
Great restaurant with a wonderful owner! The food, atmosphere, and service were all great. Also, they were fast! Ordered the meatballs, tostones, montaditos, burrata, scallops, and seafood paella…. And don’t forget tres leches for dessert! I’ll be back for sure
Lorena the best server! Food amazing .
Cant wait to come back to try the rest of the menu.
The best food we had our whole week in New York! Authentic, good portions, and a wide menu. Lovely service too.
The food was amazing! Everything from the service, the drinks (specially the parchita juice), and food was 10/10. Alex and Lorena (the owners) have an amazing spot, and they are superb hosts. My friends and I ordered the montaditos (best thing ever), tequeños, patatas bravas, croquetas, and the camarones con mango. We cant wait to be back.
It was really delicious. The seafood paella was excellent. Highly recommend it. Tres leches was really good as well. Thank you
The food was amazing and the waiter Henry was amazing I would recommend this spot to all my friends and family
Absolutely delicious. Service is phenomenal. Perfect place to eat before a show. Relaxing.Authentic Venezuelan food. Passion fruit sangria was incredible.
Really nice people (speak Spanish and English) and delicious food. They offer samples of two types of paella and extra plates and utensils for sharing. And the seafood paella had lots of seafood! Really enjoyed it and very filling (shared a big plate between 3 people). Liked the flavor of the olive oil used to cook it too!
THE PAELLA BURRITO. Must try it, it was incredible. The sangrias are also amazing, we had the original, the passion fruit and peach one, we couldnt decide which one we liked best. They were all so good.
I am so in love with this place! Food is so incredibly amazing and tasty!!! It makes you feel you like home. Our server was so kind, she’s is so lovely, definitely well come back soon!
Inspired by numerous positive reviews, we had to try EZ on our trip to NYC. It did not disappoint. We had the Caribbean veggie paella. It was delicious 😋 lovely relaxed vibe and the friendliest staff, especially Laura who served us. We highly recommend. Thank you for a great night 👌
This Venezuelan-Spaniard fusion restaurant is an absolute gem! The food was simply delicious—every dish was a delightful blend of flavors that left us wanting more. We started with the tequeños, which were perfectly crispy and filled with gooey cheese. The camarones al ajillo were bursting with garlic and a hint of spice, making them utterly irresistible. But the highlight of the meal was the paella—it was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. And let’s not forget the sangria—refreshing and just the right balance of sweetness. Highly recommend this spot for an unforgettable dining experience!
Food is good. The paella ($29)was very taste but too greasy. I ordered “croquetas de yuca” (cassava croquettes $14) but I didn’t taste any cassava on them.
What a little gem of a place! I went here after work for a casual dinner with my friends. Even though it was a weekday, the place was full so we ended up sitting at the bar. The bar seating looks into a small open kitchen where the owner Alex himself cooks up delicious food. Our server that evening was no other than Alex’s wife and the other owner, Lorena. Alex was very friendly and had great love and pride in the food he offered. The owners are originally from Venezuela, so their menu offers a fusion of Venezuelan and Spanish cuisine. From the tapas, we tried the creamy shrimp, carne tostada, croquettes, empanada, and burrata. My friends loved the shrimp dish the most. The shrimps were cooked perfectly with a snappy bite and the spicy curry coconut sauce was very flavorful. My favorite was the carne tostadas. The plantains were crisp but not dry and the generously portioned meat topping was tender and soft. We also ordered a pitcher of red sangria and it was the perfect accompaniment to our meal. The glasses were so big, they were the size of our faces. The wine wasn’t overly sweet, and there were lots of berries mixed in. After the tapas, we had the land and sea paella. Alex told us the reason he named the restaurant EZ paella was to make paella more approachable. Instead of only serving paellas as a group dish like most other restaurants, he figured out a way to make single serve paella. So if each person at your party wants to try a different flavor, it’s not a problem here. His paella had a ton of seafood like shrimp, mussels, and scallop and was well seasoned and cooked. After stuffing our stomach with all the food, somehow we managed to make some space for their homemade tres leches cake made by Lorena. The cake was very soft and the little bit of cinnamon sprinkled on the top made it quite different from other tres leches I’ve tried. We all finished our meal full and happy. It felt really good to have found such a great mom and pop place. I will definitely be coming back for more!
Food was AMAZING and our Lorena was simply WONDERFUL, you MUST try the jumbo shrimp with mango sauce and the Tres Leche 😋
Such a great time here. Food was delicious and the people here were so warm and inviting it was a great experience, will definitely come back again!
Food was excellent and the staff was incredibly friendly.
EZ Paella is absolutely delightful! I ate there with my mother and the food was SO GOOD. Especially the albondigas ardientes. Would highly recommend for authentic, delicious tapas and paella!
The tapas were incredible. The service was fantastic as well. Small restaurant with tight seating.
Wonderful food! Great service. You must try it! You won’t be disappointed!
Super nice and cozy husband and wife owned tapas spot, sat at the bar in front of the open kitchen, the food and service were incredible, would definitely come back!

It’s a small place but the food it’s delicious, I had the tostones with beef and the meatballs also a sangria. Everything was delicious, totally coming back
Great food and service, highly recommend EZ Paella! I had the chicken paella, very yummy.
Amazing service!! Delicious food. The place is small but cozy. I had a wonderful time.
Food was spectacular! Highly recommend this place. Pics in menu were great to see what the authentic ethnic food looks like before you order.
How can I express the flavor we just experienced... I was transportrd to Venezuela. Our favorite was the Montaditos Venezuela... the conbination of arepa, beef, plantain blows your taste buds. Get it with the spicy sauce... dont let the word tartar scare you... it is nothing like white mayo! The albondogas ardientes is a do not skip... you must have this. Sop up the extra sauce with croquettes de yuca - you wont regret it. Everything was fresh (peppers and cilantro) and the service so genial. We also had the burrito with paella arroz con camarones. The tortilla was perfectly toasted (like a chimichanga) and was also easy to share. If we had more friends with us we would have ordered a full paella dish. Next time! The tapas here are worth a visit... maybe once a month if I were closer, they have so many opetions on the menu that you could have something different each month. But I would order the albondigas every time! Thank you for a wonderful meal.
100% recommended do not stop trying the dessert tres leches and in the food everything is too good, although I loved the paella. Thank you for this Venezuelan and Spanish fusion😍.
Food was out of this world amazing! Truly so delicious - well cooked, looked gorgeous, and smelled amazing. Highly recommend the Yuca croquettes. Laura was our server and was absolutely incredible.Highly recommend!
My family and I went here before seeing a show, and it was incredible! The restaurants atmosphere is warm and inviting, and I have to be honest, its adorable. The service was friendly and attentive, but the star of the night was the food. Everything tasted freshly made, perfectly seasoned and comforting. I will be returning often. I highly recommend it!
INCREDILBE food and wonderful service. Would definitely recommend.
All the food was great especially the lentil soup and empanadillas.
Great!!! I really enjoyed!!! Nice server too👍👍👍😊
Was a little hesitant due to the picture menu but the food turned out great! Especially the shredded beef dish! Great flavor!
Love the food! I was tasty. Nice server, so polite. I recommend the montaditos Venezuela
We sat at the bar for a kidless dinner getaway and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. Service, food and atmosphere were all top notch!
Wow. Wow. Wow. Incredible quality, value and service. Spinach empenada is phenomenal, Caribbean chicken paella outstanding (order extra sauce, which is indescribable), and finish with one of the best tres leches ever. Do not miss this unassuming gem!
Amazing food here! We loved our paella and tres leches cake! Got personal service from the owner too! Highly recommended!
Amazing food amazing service paella is great
Incredible food and service!! Seafood paella is to die for and the passion fruit sangria is soo good
