My wife , son and I had 3 different plates and all had 3 different flavors that stood out. The servers were great hosts and made solid recommendations. The Choripán had the a great savory taste and is great to share. We also had the Chorizo Iberico De Bellota and you can tell the aging process works. We were worried the medium Paella De Mariscos would be too much food after the first 2 dishes, but once we started eating, we couldn’t stop. Overall, from service to food , this place is top notch. We are visiting from GA and found out they are opening in ATL. We are excited to check out that new location now!

Made a reservation for a team Thanksgiving lunch here. When we arrived at noon, restaurant was all empty. But I loved the interior and the atmosphere. Gorgeous lighting and wall decors. There’s a huge bar in front side as well. The menu has large selection of vegetables, meat and seafood tapas dishes. Quantities are good for sharing, so everyone gets to try different items. We were notified early Paellas take more than half an to cook, so we put in the Mariacos and Verduras orders right away.We started with the cheese platter that had three different kind, aged Manchego being my favorite. Fruits and breads on the platter were good too. Then we moved on to several taps items. The highlights for me were potatoes bravas, seared lamb skewers, seared octopus and grilled shrimp. The steak was decent but not as appealing as rest. Finally we got the Paellas as well. Loved the seafood one. It had clams, oysters, squid, shrimp, mussels, all mixed with some yummy rice. The service was excellent. Empty plates were removed on regular intervals. Food came out at decent pace. Gratuity was already added in the check since we were party of 7. Upon requesting for Apply pay, they provided me a QR code to pay via website where I was able to use card from my Apply Pay.

Came to this spot after going to a show. Didnt pay attention to the address and Im glad because this place was exceptional. The food the service all top notch. To drink in order the zero proof mocktail with ritual tequila. For starters we got the pan con tomato and ensalada vasca, a nice light start to our meal. For entrees we split the Fiduea negra and paella de mariscos. They prepare these fresh so be prepared to wait a while and order a few drinks. Both were so good!Im a sucker for anything with squid ink and the Fiduea didnt disappoint and the paella had a generous amount of seafood. We luckily saved room for dessert because in addition to the churros we ordered they gave us a complimentary olive oil cake.Definitely happy I happened upon this spot!

Came here for tapas after work for happy hour. Service was good, food was delicious, we were in and out quickly. Also not too expensive!Personally I am not a fan of Spanish food or tapas in general — a lot of it is very salty or meaty or heavy. And a lot of the classic items are available at Boqueria (tortilla, patatas bravas), so you can count on it being authentic (at the very least). If you do like tapas, definitely check this place out for your next work event or casual brunch.

Cool place, with nice vibes, resembling a Spanish boqueria. Service was good. The noises however made the experience a little less enjoyable. It was really hard to hear each other around the table. If you can, if the weather allows, I recommend booking a table outside. The food was good. The patatas bravas were delicious and we ordered an extra portion. The paella takes 45 min to make. So plan your meal accordingly. We got churros for dessert with Nutella and Dulce de leche. Really good! Freshly made.Book in advance if possible.

Amazing food! But the place was packed and very loud. Excellent location for 20-somethings, but my 30-50s ladies brunch felt a little overwhelmed. Also, its important to note that if youd like to do the endless drinks, everyone at the table must drink. And when some folks dont drink, it doesnt really work. The host was so welcoming and willing to take photos for our group. The waiters were a little disorganized. Maybe because it was busy--hectic. I would absolutely go again for the food, however... ideally at a less busy time.

Came on a Sunday for an early dinner. It was a bit empty when we arrived but slowly filled up with different sized groups as our meal went on. Very nice warm ambiance with all bar height seating which was actually kind of nice. There were 3 of us and we were hungry after doing some shopping around the area. It’s tapas style - which I think is slowly becoming new speak for “small but still expensive”, but I digress. We started with red sangria which was yummy in a fruit punch kind of way. Next was the chipped up eggplant with big chunks of toast - delicious but for some reason wasnt expecting the eggplant to be chopped up. Then the croquettes - both were fried very nicely. The ham was tasty but the mushroom was amazing. The asparagus was next - which I think was made for this tapas format. Then the shrimp with garlic came out with a chunk of crusty bread perfect for sopping up all the garlicky oily sauce. The octopus with fennel and mashed potatoes - tender and tasty. Lamb skewers with chimichurri - very flavorful. So far the tapas were just delight after delight. We also ordered a small paella which finally came out. Have to be honest, this was the weakest dish by far. It was dry and frankly not that flavorful. We knew we were going to skip dessert so we ended up with the broccoli with almonds and mint (fresh and savory) and the lamb meatballs (very soft and tasty in a rich tomato sauce). So overall, the food was delicious except for the paella. Or waitress was very helpful and was basically spot on in terms of ordering enough dishes for our appetite. It turned out we could have gone the route of the chefs menu for approx the same cost but I think we really got to explore the menu with exactly what we wanted to try. Overall a solid tapas restaurant!

I had a wonderful time here after taking the evening train to New York. We were able to try a large fraction of the menu items and there were some real standouts. Ill start with what I liked best. The seafood paella was excellent. The seafood was perfectly cooked and plentiful (though some pieces were a bit too smoky). The mussels and clams were especially tender and juicy. The rice was flavorful. I would definitely come back for this. The dulce de leche churros were absolutely amazing. They were stuffed with hot caramel that oozes out as you bite into it. I am still thinking about this dessert and really want to go back for it.And now for a quick run through of the rest of what we triedGreat: octopus (perfectly cooked), tomato bread (very tasty).Good: Patatas bravas (nice garlic aioli), shishito peppers (could have better seasoning but great cook).Fine: Gambas, anchovies, tortilla espagnola, chocolate churros.Meh: Eggplant (too creamy, cant taste eggplant), broccoli (too creamy)I definitely want to come back and have the paella and churros again! They were excellent.

Overall, we were PRETTY DISAPPOINTED. The shishito pepper margarita was directly poured out of the bottle into a glass of ice yet costs $16. All the tapas came in extremely small portion with high prices. The lamb skewer was mediocre and quite sour. The clam has a lot of broken pieces of its shell, so we had to eat it very carefully. To be fair, the paella tastes good, but the mussel was teeny tiny nail-sized.

Boqueria was nothing short of amazing and reminded me of food in Spain. The con tomate had to be the best I’ve found since being in Spain, and the runner up has to be the garlic shrimp. The table’s favourite was the tomato bread and patata bravas. If you like a strong sangria, get the rose option. The paella does take about 20 mins which was fine since we ordered many other tapas. Unfortunately it was the most disappointing dish of the evening. I wouldn’t say this is Spanish style food (except for the tomato bread) but leaned more towards a westernized style. The plates were on the heavier side and full of flavour - though this is not a bad thing, just different.

I really wanted the food and experience to be better. I chose this restaurant for me and a friend who was in from out of town. We ended up ordering both croquetas, albondigos, squash, lamb skewers, and an ensalada mixta. Tbh, nothing wowed me. I really liked the mushroom croqueta. My friend commented that the jamon croqueta was a fancy grilled cheese (definitely could’ve upped the quantity of jamon in there) and the albondigas tasted like they had been sitting out. They definitely were on the dry side- good thing the sauce was there. It was also super loud in there. We needed to partially scream to hear each other. And tight. Don’t try pulling out your chair bc then waiters can’t walk by. Also at exactly two hours they told me we needed to leave our table since our time limit was up. This was about 3 minutes after I had gotten my tea so I was a bit annoyed that they didn’t tell me sooner. I used to love this restaurant.. not so much anymore.

Be advised if you book a brunch reservation they will not honor the brunch menu as the manager on shift stated they cut brunch off at 3 due to happy hour . I asked why their website does not reflect she stated it is the policy she has in place .We left and had brunch at a different Boqueria location . Seems as if the manager on duty at the flatiron location implements whatever policy she wants. We have frequented multiple Boqueria locations and have not experienced this. This was our first time at the flatiron location safe to say we will continue to visit other locations as we do love their brunch menu .

A friend and I decided to check this place out because I had a 30% off deal via Blackboard Eats. Its not valid on happy hour items. Happy hour is until 6:30 and its at the bar only. You can get $7 glasses of sangria, $8 house wine, $5 Estrella beer, and a few other random select cocktails. For dinner, we decided to order a bunch of tapas and share everything. We ordered six plates, but by the time the last one showed up, we were already getting pretty full. This is was we ordered:Patatas Bravas ($10) - crispy potatoes, salsa brava, roasted garlic aioli. I loved these. They were perfectly crispy and I loved the aioli.Pulpo a la plancha ($19) - grilled octopus, fennel, smoked pimentón, Picual olive oil mashed potatoes. This was great. The octopus was nice and tender, and the mashed potatoes were very flavorful.Albondigas ($16) - Colorado lamb meatballs, tomato sauce, sheeps milk cheese, basil. These were pretty gamey. There were five in an order and my friend really did not care for these so I ended up eating four of them.Croquetas Cremosas ($12) - creamy croquettes; three each of mushroom and Serrano ham. This was probably my favorite out of everything we ordered, especially the mushroom.Jamon Serrano ($13) - Jamónes de Segovia Serrano ham, aged 18 Months. This was good - no complaints here.Calamares ($14) - baby squid, white beans, artichokes, squid ink, Calabrian chilies, garlic, dill. I guess my brain skipped over the beans part because I was completely surprised when the dish showed up served on a bed of beans. Its not a bad thing but it was A LOT of beans. This also happened to be that last dish that showed up, so we didnt eat too much of it.Even with the BBE deal, it was still a tad pricey so Im not sure I would be back - especially when there are so many other tapas places in NYC I need to try.

I was skeptical at first, but they were so delicious we ended up ordering seconds! They are a must-try, even if you’re not in the mood for churros. We ordered the Churros Classicos ($9+ for 5 pieces), with a choice of sauces: dulce de leche, hot chocolate or Nutella (or all 3 for $2+).Our second order took a while, but besides that, we had a great time. Was able to book reservation online for same night (was a Tuesday so probably less busy) Arrived 15 minutes early but sat very quickly.Assortment of tables- deuces, four tops, larger tables for groups of 6-8. Calm decor & good music - just what you need after a busy day at work etc. All food on tables looked great . QR code’s for menus so get your seniors ready. Looks like a place for first dates. Lots of sangrias & beers. Some tables a little close to each other so if you need your space mention it when you reserve online along with any celebration or special eventMenu is not extensive but if you have time for a longer dinner there is a chefs sampler which looks very appealing with a variety of plates for one price. Our visit:. 2 ppl - shared Brussels sprouts - very tasty, lamb meatballs - flavourful, octopus - done perfectly and a small paella to share (Paella does take 20+ minutes to prepare) . Paella very good and rice not hard and crunchy as is sometimes case when they make large portions ahead of time. Nutella Churros (5 per portion) - delicious! - with a scoop each of vanilla & chocolate ice cream finished off the meal perfectly. One glass Sangria and two beers/ Total bill - $140 - you decide if that’s average or too expensive - it is NY/ (Pics: Lamb meatballs & small Paella)

The potato’s bravas - deep fried not pan fried so really greasy. Croquettes wow runny mush in a crispy skin, prunes we were charged for an extra on with out being asked, ‘well there’s three of them and 2 of you so I added an extra’ they were grim and we left 2! My wife’s birthday I asked for a cake, got served over fried churros with burnt cinnamon sugar $8. The sangria had so little alc in it it was unbelievable at. $48. Good vibes, good wine, good food and good company, until the main entree, the paella, came out. The rice was horribly undercooked. The inside was still firm and raw. We all had a taste and agreed that it had to be sent back, which was a shame since the flavors were there. To their credit, we were offered a remake/substitute and the dish comped, but the wait would be another 45 minutes. They seemed in a hurry to get us moving even though it didn’t seem like they needed our table. I would have liked to take my time more. I had never had Tapas before. So to start off your tapas experience at this place was exquisite. We got the chef’s plate which comprised of an insane amount of food crafted for the table, meaning one piece or bite for each person. We were 4, so everything had a minimum of 4. Perfect for sharing. The place was bustling with laughter and the wait staff were very patient and helped our non-Spanish heads with every question they had. Amazing experience!

Boqueria is a good dinner spot and a great place to start the night with some drinks and light tapas. Its not the best Spanish cuisine Ive had, but it was respectable and tasty.Like many Spanish restaurants, it is fundamentally a tapas bar, so I highly recommend getting a few tapas in addition to a main dish (all of which is best shared). We went with the croquetas (my favorite), the tomates de verano (very unique, fresh and tasty) and the shishito peppers (good, but nothing special). Our group of three paired that with the medium-sized seafood paella (paella de mariscos), which was just the right amount of food altogether. If youre looking for a nice drink from their extensive menu, you wont go wrong with the sangria tinta. Prob best to make a reservation, but you might get lucky.

Their happy hour is not available in the main dining room which we were unaware of as we ordered freely off of the happy hour menu for food and drinks. I specifically pointed to the happy hour menu and ordered house white but the server never told us we werent receiving happy hour prices or even the house wine and my wine ended up being $18 a glass when I was thinking it was only $9. Once we received our check and paid, we realized there had been a mistake and Ruben the manager informed us that happy hour is only in certain areas of the restaurant. He helped fix our bill and was very kind about the whole situation, and because of him and the delicious food I would absolutely go back. I just recommend paying better attention than we did to happy hour stipulations!

Terrible experience at the Flatiron location. Took my ~60 year-old parents and their friends out here for dinner because they were visiting and was greeted by terrible service. Our waiter was extremely impatient and seemed to be annoyed at us before even speaking to us. We are very polite and quiet people. We sat at the middle table for 6 people, but our table’s lighting was so dark we couldn’t even see the food properly. Older patrons have difficulty reading the menu in dark settings, so my parents were struggling to read the menu and the waiter was rude to us because we needed time to read through everything with our phone lights. Our waiter seemed to be avoiding us and only stopped by our table a single time during the entire night to check in on us. I’m guessing he thought there would be a language barrier with us since we’re asian and he seemed to have a spanish accent and spoke to other patrons in spanish? However, this does not justify his bad attitude towards us, and it’s hard to believe that it was anything but racist. We ordered the classics tasting menu for the whole table, so the meal was supposed to be a “Journey to Spain”, but instead it was more of a sloppy sequence of mediocre food that came in small quantities, mostly burnt, and very salty. Shouldn’t a restaurant that preaches introducing Spanish food to the world have a bit more compassion for people who’ve never had it before? I was expecting to treat my family to a good night and instead experienced the worst service I’ve ever had in NYC. Maybe he didn’t think he had to take care of us since they charge a mandatory gratuity/service fee of 20%? Never going back here.

My favorite place, but last visit was pretty disappointed. I almost broke my tooth due to few broken shells pieces from the clam. Some clams werent properly cleaned because the clam had soil in the shell. And then I chewed a piece of rock in the seafood paella but later found out that it was a hard olive seed. Love this place but it seems like that portions are getting smaller and prices are slightly going up. Pitcher of sangria should not be $50 when it is filled with 80% of ice and 5% of alcohol.

**Rating: ⭐⭐ (2 stars)**As enthusiasts of authentic Spanish cuisine, my partner and I were excited to dine at Boqueria Flatiron. However, our experience was underwhelming in several aspects.**Food: ⭐⭐ (2 stars)**Our anticipation for a culinary journey through Spain was met with disappointment. All the plates were served cold, which significantly detracted from the overall dining experience. The flavors were just okay, lacking the vibrant and rich taste we associate with true Spanish dishes. We had higher expectations for a restaurant boasting authentic Spanish cuisine.**Ambiance: ⭐⭐⭐ (3 stars)**The ambiance of the restaurant was decent, but nothing extraordinary. The setting was comfortable, yet it missed the lively and warm vibe one would expect from a Spanish eatery. Notably, there wasnt a single Spanish song playing throughout our meal, which was quite surprising and a bit disheartening. A touch of traditional Spanish music could have significantly enhanced the dining atmosphere.**Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 stars)**What truly saved the evening was the exceptional service. From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive and welcoming. Bartender Boris crafted delightful drinks with a friendly demeanor, and manager Maria ensured our needs were met with utmost professionalism and warmth. Their dedication and kindness made a lasting positive impression.**Overall Experience:**While the service was impeccable, the food and ambiance did not meet our expectations for a Spanish restaurant. We hope that Boqueria Flatiron can improve on these fronts to provide a more authentic and enjoyable dining experience. For now, it remains a place we would not rush back to for the food, but would certainly commend for its outstanding service.

The waitress was excellent; she made the experience better as the food wasnt as good. The shrimps and the clams were super salty and completely drenched in oil. The pan and tomato was exactly that mashed tomato on toasted bread lacking flavor no salt, no garlic, no spices what so ever. The sangria was okay; the pitcher literally has one piece of fruit. The best part was the crispy potato, which had a nice crunchiness and a kick to it. We had the meatballs I just couldnt eat more than 1. The Spanish flavor just werent there for me. I was very disappointed. Three stars because the waitress service was really good. Food was 2 stars if that.

We have been to Boquerias Soho and Midtown locations and loved them. I cant say the same about Flatiron location. Food was good as always, but we had 8.45 reservations and we have never been told that the kitchen will be closed at 10pm ( It was 6 of us, so we had a prefix menu, but we wanted to order some extra food and mentioned it to the waiter). Ok, I understand if the kitchen is closed, but it seems that the whole restaurant stops functioning at 10pm. You cant even order the glass of wine, coke or cup of coffee. Moreover, you start getting the feeling that you are not welcome after 10pm. Also, for whatever reason, you dont feel the same vibe as in the other two locations.

The food was terrible. It used to be good and then passable but last night was barely edible. The croquetas seemed like they were factory made and frozen (and I’ve had much better grocery store freezer section croquetas in Spain!) and the patatas bravas tasted like they took pre-cooked frozen potato chunks and threw them in a too hot deep fryer- cold on the inside and charred on the outside. They were inedible. Go to any of the other nearby tapas places. They are all much better. I won’t be back.

Dined at Boqueria and opted for the “Boqueria Experience” at $65 per person. We were treated to an array of tapas and indulged in the seafood paella. While the flavors were spot-on and the ambience reminiscent of a true Barcelona tapas bar, the portion sizes left a bit to be desired for the combined $130 price point. We sampled the white, rosé, and piña sangrias, all of which were refreshingly tasty, though they could’ve packed a stronger punch. While I’d recommend giving Boqueria a visit, I might lean more towards ordering individual tapas à la carte on a future trip. Definitely a return-worthy spot!

You would always be pleased if you came in, got some drinks and ate exclusively paella. I usually inhale my food but I couldnt help but take my time with their paella.I would not ever again pay 34 dollars for their Jamon iberico. It is simply not worth it when the flavors are nothing to write home about. The tapas were very polarizing, with stellar plates and fairly mid plates.Patatas bravas: delicious. Would eat againMushroom croquettes: wonderfully done, just portioned small.Garlic shrimp: not bad, just was not impressed.Squash: deliciously creamy and sweet. We barely could squeeze into the table. Asked for an extra chair. Told no. Saw a chair not used at another table. Asked those at the table if they would mind us using the chair. They said no. Then the restaurant manager saw us with an extra chair. He freaked out and took the chair. Said it was our fault for booking 11 people knowing it would be tight. Meanwhile tables all around us had extra chairs. It was super weird that management *really* didnt want us to fit.

Then we got to the Chelsea Boqueria.First and foremost, the staff was so warm and excellent. They showed us how the brunch worked: you pick 4 dishes for the first round, 2 dishes for the second round, and a dessert. All the while you get bottomless mimosas and sangrias. Before the first dish came I was already taking advantage: the drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was enticing and full of a wonderful weekend-morning energy. A manager came to ask if the music had bothered me too. I said yes it was a big problem, she responded saying she felt bad but nothing to do as the plant shop owners were friends of hers. I was still hungry when I was done so got something on my way home. It took 15 minutes to even be acknowledged by the waiter and no QR code was even displayed. So ok I look up the menu on google myself. At the end of the night, dessert was a stale churros stick that’s not even fresh with chocolate dip that you can find in the subway for $2-3. The final bill came was charged an covid fee of $30 on top of my bill which there was no warning or sign that would give me a heads up. Honestly if the service was good and food was great ok $30 bucks not a problem but overall was a bad experience and that hidden charge just topped the icing on the cake. So definately would not recommend this place

Wanted to love it but sadly I wouldn’t go back :( I spent a month in Spain last summer and I would say this met expectations taste wise. Paella had a ton of seafood and good flavour. However the service was not great - waiters were not necessarily rude but I felt somewhat unwelcome and the space was really cramped. My chair kept getting bumped by waiters every 3 min too without apology. Paella took 40 min (not extremely unusual for paella so were understanding) but when it came it was lukewarm and hardened to the pan. It was definitely sitting out for at least 10 min before they brought it to us which is pretty annoying as paella doesn’t taste as good when it’s not hot and we waited a long time. Wouldn’t go back :/

Food and drinks were at best average. Bacon on the dates was burnt and not crispy. Bread was slightly but too. Margarita was bland. Table was wobbly.Menu has potential but a focus on quality is missing.

We wanted to try a tapas restaurant near our airbnb and tried Boqueria. The bar area is much quieter and the service was great. The charcuterie and cheeses were very good but the mushrooms lamb skewers and corn entree were outstanding. Cocktails were unique and tasty. We liked it so much we ate there a 2nd time 3 nights later.

Tasty tapas! Nice, fresh dishes with more vegetables than Im used to in tapas--which is wonderful. The beet and yogurt dish was wonderfully fresh and the lamb was delightful as well

They arent kidding about the bottomless beverages on the brunch menu. The food is also very very good. We did the shared brunch menu and its absolutely enough food. They size the plates to your party size .

Overrated. Did the tasting menu and it was good but not worth the money we paid. I dont feel inspired to eat here again. Very similar to any other fancy spanish place.

Good vibes, nice and helpful staff but most importantly tasty food/tapas. We came in happy hour time and sat in the bar area; the only negative point was that it was packed and we were very close to each other. We had pan con tomate, tortilla de papas and patatas bravas with a pitcher of Sangria, all for $70 including tips; it was a lot food.

I was there last weekend Food was amazing. I was excited to try raw food but maybe it wasnt done correcly because i got food sick immediately after i left. Everything was amazing the atomsphere prices . Service couldve being better we waited and we had to go ourselves the table next to us was waited as well for while. Apart from that. We were outside it seemed their focus is to the people inside the restaurant. Everything amazing.

My aunt took me here for my birthday lunch and we had a great time. I love that most of the seats are high top tables and chairs and the lunch prices were pretty good for the amount of food you get. We got the grilled octopus, garlic shrimp, lamb skewers, and jamon sandwich. I really liked the octopus and how it sat on a bed of black beans that were very tasty. I was pleasantly surprised about the salad that came with the jamon sandwich too!

Very lively spot for Spanish tapas. They have Paella in two sizes, medium ($48) and large ($69). We would recommend the medium with other items for a more robust experience. They also have a chefs tasting menu and you can request to include the paella. But the paella will absorb so much of the price (~$69/pp!) that the a la carte with the medium paella is probably the better choice. The service was great. We had the host seat us and take our drink order. We had a different waiter. Our waiter knew exactly what our drinks were and never let them run dry.
