October 2024 - Went home to Harlem for the weekend and came here for dinner & drinks with the fam. It was EVERYTHING that everyone raved about. The sophisticated decor definitely lives up to its name. The ambience gave luxurious vibes. The hostess who checked us in (Aisha) was super helpful & accommodating. Instead of a traditional table she gave us the option of a very nice lounge space and let us know we could order our food to that area and not have to move from there to a table. The music set the tone in the atmosphere and it was very much an R&B vibe that wasn’t giving too much “club” while you ate but was very good vibes. We ordered the Sweet Chili Calamari, Oysters (both raw & charbroiled) for appetizers, Calloway Wings, Bessie’s Mac & Cheese w/ Fried Chicken and the Fried Catfish’N Hush Puppies. I love it when you get mac & cheese that is not oily/greasy, it was very, very good! Fried chicken seasoned to perfection 🤌🏾I had the signature Harlem Hurricane drink, I like sweet drinks, it was good but the flavor combo of the Passion Perfect was better. Good people, good food, good drinks all made for a fabulous night out in Harlem. A time was had, I will be back!!

The food was excellent portion size excellent, flavor excellent, freshness excellent, seasoning excellent, and appearance excellent. I had a Caesar salad with thick sliced crispy bacon. Our second waitress was 5 stars fantastic, attentive, and engaging. The atmosphere was fun and people were having a great time and dancing. The DJ was excellent, he knew the crowd and the type of music to play, just a tad too loud. Overall we loved it and would go back. My friend said she loved the drink - it was not weak, perfect alcohol balance.

The Victoria is one of my favorite places to visit when Im in Harlem! From the dark granite aura to the gold accents throughout, the atmosphere buzzes with sophistication and soul. Giving homage to many jazz greats such as Louis Armstong and (my personal favorite) Ella Fitzgerald, the artwork throughout makes you feel as if the artists are about to grace the stage. There are high and low tables, sections and private areas for parties and celebrations. There is often a dj spinning on weekends as well. Always a vibe! Make sure you check out their hand-crafted cocktail menu, too :)

Chic, comfy, modern restaurant with vybesy modern tribute to black royalty vybes. Dont forget to look up, a lot of details ( that gold map made me smile).Yaya G hostess/ server was friendly and knowledgeable and elevated our experience. Mimosas were delicious and refreshing. They definitely use top tier products. The gumbo was hearty and flavorful. My Mac and cheese was just like you want it to be. My friend had the fried chicken sandwich it was big and tasty, the crunch on the chicken was everything.I recommend adding this establishment to your list. I went for lunch and it was worth the train ride uptown.

My recent visit to Victoria in New York left me absolutely delighted. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the charming ambiance and the top-notch service. Now, lets dive into the culinary adventure. The shrimp and grits were a masterpiece, bursting with flavor. They were cooked to perfection, and the creamy grits provided the perfect canvas for this delectable dish. But thats not all; the pasta and fish dishes were equally outstanding. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the freshness of the ingredients truly shone through. It was a symphony of taste on my palate. And lets not forget the calamari, which was more than enough to share between two people. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, it was a delightful appetizer that set the tone for the meal. All in all, Victoria offers a culinary experience thats hard to beat. The shrimp and grits, pasta, fish, and calamari all exceeded my expectations. This restaurant is a gem in the heart of New York City, and I cant wait to return for another unforgettable dining experience!

My Unsolicited review of Victoria Theater Restaurant1.Stanley our server was amazing 👏🏾 5 stars2. Cheers to the bartender. Every drink we had was top tier. Misty drink was my fav. 5 stars3. Atmosphere and decor-Gorgeous. 5 stars Super Clean.4. Food-3.5 stars- Gumbo was good a solid meal but didnt stand out, Cajun chicken and pasta- the pasta and peppers were fresh and flavourful the chicken was bland, the shrimp and grits had more grits soup than shrimp 🍤. There was 6 baby shrimp and sausage with gravy on top with some inedible herbs atop. For 28 dollars the Shrimp should at least be large. I should of sent it back immediately but the music was nice. Im a dessert girl and the bread pudding did not disappoint 😋.5. There was no Performance at 5,6 or 7 like advertised online 🤔....No one played that big beautiful piano.Overall I might try again, they might just need a stronger chef behind the wheel. The location is next to Apollo, street parking in front. The area needs some work.Total meal and drinks for 2: $232 Gratuity was 18% but we added some more for Stanley the server. He was very good.

We had dinner here with friends, so she reserved a table for four people for dinner. The hostess sat the four of us at a table which was clearly for people who were just have drinks and appetizers which was directly in front of the band. It was extremely loud, so we requested another table in the dining area. The hostess informed us the wait would be fifteen to twenty minutes, so we agreed. Forty-five minutes later we were still seated at the same table, so we just told the wait staff we would order our food. We ordered different items on the menu, so all of our party would have the opportunity to try the food. We didnt have enough space for all our our dishes, but we did the best we could with what we had. We enjoyed our dinner and had several drinks. At thr end of dinner, a male manager responded to our table to inform us our table was reserved for another party ,and he basically rushed us out of seats. We spent about five hundred dollars to be rushed out of our seats at 10:30pm. The food, ambiance, and staff provide great service. With that being said, part of the experience is how a customer is treated after spending their money at an establishment. Your manager could have kindly suggested we enjoy the rest of our evening at the bar ,but he did not. We will never return to this establishment although we did enjoy ourselves.

I had an amazing spontaneous evening. I looked up elegant restaurants in Harlem. The Victoria Restaurant popped up, so I decided to check it out. I’ m so glad I did!Starting with the hostess Alicia, who was so charming and professional, she answered every question I asked with ease. The waitress Sabrina, who was warm, amazing, and attentive. Her menu suggestions were spot on. Her service was impeccable. She gave me everything I needed in a timely manner. I started with appetizers and had, the Biscuit Basket and Bessie’s Mac and Cheese. For dinner I had the Salmon. I enjoyed every bite. To top it off, and to my surprise, there was a band! I can’t remember the name of the band, but the singer was the lovely Debra, who sang like a songbird. If you want to have good food, good vibes and an all around good time, check out The Victoria Restaurant. I’m glad I did.

This was my second time at this establishment. The first time the menu and food were much better. This time the calamari starter was the best thing we had. The service was slow and then we were asked to leave our table abruptly because they had people waiting and the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. We agreed and before we could put on our coats, the manager came back over to ask us to leave again and rush us out. It was beyond rude especially since over half of the restaurant was empty with plenty of seats. When I mentioned this, I was told they are understaffed and cant use that section. The whole experience was such a disappointment as I really liked this place the first time I dined here. I wont be back.

The Victoria Restaurant: A Hidden Gem in HarlemNestled within the Renaissance NY Harlem hotel, The Victoria Restaurant offers a delightful blend of old-world charm and modern culinary delights. The restaurants rich history, coupled with its proximity to the legendary Apollo Theater, creates a unique and captivating atmosphere. The staff, with their warm smiles and attentive service, made us feel right at home. The decor, a tasteful blend of classic and contemporary, added to the overall ambiance. The star of the show, however, was the salmon. Perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, it was a culinary masterpiece. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. The restaurants live music performances were another highlight. The jazz band that graced the stage was simply phenomenal. The vocalists soulful voice, paired with the pianists masterful playing, created a truly unforgettable experience. If you find yourself in Harlem, be sure to check out The Victoria Restaurant. I was excited about going to this place because one of my friends had told me it was really nice. He suggested I check it out, so today, June 19, my friend and I decided to visit. We were looking for a place to eat.At first, we didn’t know there was a restaurant until we asked the security guard. He directed us around the corner and up to the fifth floor. The atmosphere of entering the building, which was also a movie theater, was amazing. It looked like they had taken their time to make the place look very rustic. On the way up to the fifth floor, I enjoyed the architecture and design. When we got upstairs, I was a bit confused because I couldnt tell the difference between the restaurant and the bar, nor who the hostess was. Initially, I walked over to the bar, where I saw chairs separated into groups. A gentleman in a suit was walking behind the bar, so I approached him. He was extremely unfriendly and unprofessional, acting like I was bothering him.At first, I thought I was talking to the wrong person, but he turned out to be staff. I introduced myself and explained my seating dilemma. There were multiple chairs, and I wondered if anyone could move one so my friend and I could sit together at the bar. Despite his initial rudeness, he slightly changed his tone when I spoke to him professionally, but he still wasnt helpful. We eventually went back to the bar, and the bartenders asked if we wanted a drink. We told them we would like to sit down, and they asked a couple sitting there to move so we could have seats. About 5 to 10 minutes after we sat down, the manager came over and said we didnt need him which I felt was unprofessional. For me, that was not proper customer experience , especially from a manager. I didnt feel welcome from him the he asked me how did I hear about the place as if I wasn’t supposed to be there. The audacity to to question me as if I’m not supposed to be here no worries I will not come back to this location on the other side not to be angel. I still chose to ask the manager for drink and food recommendations, and he suggested the Harlem Hurricane, which I ordered. It was strong. When I asked him about other dishes,, he acted too busy to engage, even though the place wasn’t busy. When he walked away My friend asked if I had checked the reviews, and I admitted I hadnt. When I finally looked, I saw the place had a 4.0-star rating. I usually prefer places with at least 4.0 stars. As I delved into the reviews, I noticed many one- and two-star ratings. The common complaint was about the automatic gratuity charge, the service being unwelcoming regardless of party size. I also had a problem They charged us an automatic gratuity just for two drinks at the bar. After reading all the other complaints about the food and service, we decided not to eat there. I would like to wish the Victoria theater a good luck on service and quality. If you go to my reviews, you’ll see that I have travel multiple places and 90% of my views are based off of honesty. I probably will not be going back to this location anymore. I feel more welcome Down town than in my own neighborhood. We grew up and live here where so many people look like me and I’m not received the the service of a 5 Star Pl. because my money sure does spend five star. It just won’t be spending in our place. Customer service is everything and I want to feel appreciated when I spend my money. I work very very hard for it.

Beautiful restaurant and tasty food with the exception of the bumpy start and the Cajun pasta (was not a hit at our table). The night started off with our 3 failed attempts to call and make a reservation. After the final hang up we where able to make a reservation @10pm via an online service. The original host upon arrival at 10pm stated that it would be and 5-6mins before they could get our table ready and indicated a space near the back of the restaurant and suggest we wait in the lounge area. Granted this was a busy friday evening but we expected the reservation to hold true. Around 10mins after our original time we attempted to approach the host stand to inquiry about our gruop. After another 10mins or so of waiting we watched as another as led from the bar to the back table that was indicated to us before hand. I would also like to note that we had 2 disabled individuals in our party and are currently guests of the hotel. The bar area was packed and the musician while well deserving of any and all praise was quite loud. The host upon taking my last name and not the previous group of 5 made a worried face and said she would be right back. We let her know about the other host and she told us she was not informed during their switch over. I asked her if she had taken the other groups reservation name and she quickly walked away then proceeded to show our group a table in the bar area and when we tried to speak to her about the reservation and the mix up of tables we were blown off. After asking for the manager several times from her another waitress Sabrina was able to get Mike the superstar to us ao we could explain the situation. He apologized and got us seating in the restaurant area. Mike is amazing at what hes does and is an expert in the hospitality industry for sure. It was late in the evening and busy but the situation would have never been so bad if not for the dismissive nature of the seating host. Also please just know that service from Sabrina was top notch and if you ever get a chance to be left in her care just know you are in great hands!

I personally visited The Victoria on 5/18/24, and I made a reservation for a party of 8. Our reservation was for 5/25/24 (exactly one week away) and due to the size of my party, I was offered (and accepted) the long table by the window, on the 5th floor of the restaurant, overlooking the 125th street strip. My friends (some of whom traveled from outside of NYC) and I arrived at 2pm for our lunch reunion, and we were told that the section in which I had reserved (one week prior) was currently closed. We were then offered a table that was positioned directly in the middle of of floor, opposite the elevator doors and to add insult to the offer, my group and I was expected to wait until the guest who were currently occupying the table completed their meal(s) and the table cleared. We ended up declining the last minute recommendation, and leaving without even receiving an apology from anyone who worked there. What an awful way to treat a group of 8.

I was excited that my family took me there for Mother’s Day, I was anxious to support another fine dining restaurant in Harlem. The Atmosphere was unusual, because it’s connected to the Check in for the Hotel. We were seated across from the elevators, I was immediately dismayed by the Menu, I Love Cajun cooking, however, the selections were mostly Pork infused, alternate selections were minimal. I opted for the Signature Fried Chicken, needless to say, I was disappointed. The chicken had very little flavor , I get more flavor from Popeyes. The charbroiled Oysters were pretty good, whoopee! They had this Linguine dish, that sounded pretty good, But! It had pork sausage in it. The Salmon had this mustard dressing to it, and it was not tasty at all, my Son sent his back. The chicken sliders were offered as an alternative. OMG! DRY Biscuits, Drier chicken! No sauce, personally, it looked overcooked. My other son had the catfish and French Fries. No complaints . The Drinks were good. I would love to come back again, when they have revised their menu. As of now, needless to say I am not a fan.

A friend and I, brought another friend her for a birthday breakfast. She had come for a dinner with her husband and enjoyed the meal and the ambiance. So we thought she’d enjoy breakfast here as well. The service was “rookie” level. Bringing out coffee and cream, when we didn’t have spoons demonstrated that the waitress had no instincts. I had to go to the bar and ask for spoons. The defensive reply was, “I was going to bring you spoons.” Since we had been waiting for a few minutes, and I didn’t want to stir with my finger, I had to go get the spoons! Additionally, the food took an inordinate amount of time to get to the table even considering the varying dish’s prep time. I ordered the Harlem Breakfast. This was mediocre diner quality. Nothing Harlem-esque about this. The potatoes were small skin on red potatoes that had one minuscule red pepper and a couple of onions. My friend had steak and eggs and asked for steak sauce and was brought chimichurri. Just no effort to make these things taste good to anyone who had functioning taste buds! But the worst was my friend who ordered a waffle as a side. She did expect something similar to a Belgian waffle, what she got was the flattest darkest waffle I have ever seen! Plus the butter for the toast and the waffle was brought out a good 5 minutes after the dishes were placed on the table. The butter packets were ice cold! I had to step in for my friend to ask them to take the waffle back because it was too cold to melt the even colder butter. They graciously took my friend’s plate and returned with the SAME waffle that had clearly been microwaved. A good restaurant would have brought out a fresh HOT waffle! We didn’t want to keep after the waitress about everything, because it was becoming a bit tiresome. We were there to enjoy a celebratory meal in this historical building. All the things noted here are things that a really good restaurant has in place. The staff, while polite and friendly, seemed inexperienced and just plain negligent. I would like for this business to become a successful part of the Harlem landscape, however I won’t be returning for a long while.

The food portions were good, but we felt that the fried chicken and the catfish were not thoroughly cooked. We bought this to the attention of our server, who eventually offered to replace the meals. We came tonight mainly for the live music, which was wonderful. A suggestion to the musicians would be that perhaps they could dress more appropriately. They were dressed in clothing that seemed more suitable for a workout in the gym and not a live performance. Thank you.

The replacement piece took a while and when it came it was completely unseasoned. I guess the chef didnt like having to do it over. When the server asked if it was better I just raised my brows and said Ill take it home. I figured I didnt want to waste it and I can doctor it up at home.My husband had the mac n cheese with shrimp but thought the cheese sauce was too thick.I would return for drinks and apps in the lounge area especially if I was seeing a show at the apollo next door.

Overall- 3/5Atmosphere- 5/5I had a reservation for Sunday at 7pm. Decor and atmosphere are great. Very good music and lively crowd. Very beautifully decorated restaurant with clean bathrooms.Service- 2/5The service leaves much to be desired. I initially wanted oysters and wings for appetizers, but they were out of both . I struggled to find something else as the waitress kept asking me for the menu. I told her Im still trying to figure out what I want , but she kept insistenting to bring a QR code, which she never brought. She never recommended replacements, so I gave up and didnt order an appetizer. I ordered steak and eggs medium well. It came out medium rare . The waitress never came to check on the food, so I had to ask a different waiter for help. They put the same steak that I sent back, back on the grill. Very unhygenic! Im sure thats a violation. Then, literally, as we were still eating, she came and put the check on the table. We werent done eating and planned to order more. Even after that, we ordered dessert, peach cobler. I wanted to love this place, but the service was terrible.Food - 4/5Now, the food was seasoned very well and was tasty after corrected. We had steak, eggs with grits, Kale Caesar salad, Linguini, peach cobler, and cocktails. The grits and linguini were very good. The cocktails are creative but weak. For dessert, we had the peach cobler. Very sweet but good.Tip20% was automatically added to the bill.

The ambiance of this resturant is beautiful and iconic!!!!! The servers and general staff were nice. When ordering my meal, I asked the server about what type of veggies were served with the salmon, he replied: carrots. I was disappointed when my salmon arrived with burnt asparagus 😔 I decided to take the asparagus off of my plate, and eat the mashed potatoes and salmon. The mashed potatoes taste good, as well as the brown sugar glaze. Unfortunately my salmon was pretty raw in the middle. At this point I just decided to drink my wine and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the resturant. When collecting the tab, I was surprised that my server didn’t inquire about my full plate of food, or even if I wanted to take it home before throwing it away?

The place is gorgeous and it is a really fun restaurant. However, we had a less than ideal experience. We had a 2:30 pm reservation for a large birthday party. After 45 min we were still not seated and just waiting. Turns out two people were just sitting at our large tableWaiting. We had to ask the manager to move them and we didn’t get seated until 3:30 pm. Then after we got seated everything took forever and we ended up being there for 4 hours! We waited so long they had run out of biscuits and the food took another hour and did not arrive until 4:30 pm. I won’t be back even though the food was good.

Had an empty soda on the table for almost an hour with zero refills, food took 45 min, and after they bussed our table I sat there for 10 min until I decided to get up and ask for the check. I honestly think the worst part was the whole time there were three workers just standing around while two where running all over the place. We came out for breakfast and I ordered chicken and Waffles my niece the Harlem breakfast and a basket of biscuits. I must say the food was delicious. My niece and I will return for lunch or dinner. That auto gratuity I didnt like as the young woman that assisted us would have gotten much more if they were not instituting it automatically which I feel is a huge turn off which is why I did not rate them 5 stars along with those baby low seats!

I have lived in this neighborhood all my life, and I have dined at many fine establishments throughout the city. If you look through my reviews, you will see that I have traveled extensively and visited numerous restaurants. When I saw the Victoria Theater—once the site of a tragic shooting in the early 90s—transformed into a luxurious restaurant and hotel, I was excited about the positive enhancement to my neighborhood. I was eager to patronize this new local gem. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment during my recent visit. The gentleman I interacted with was standoffish and did not exhibit the professionalism or support one would expect from such an establishment. He seemed uninterested in helping to resolve a seating issue, which significantly detracted from my experience.Given the five-star architectural design of the place, I expected a commensurate level of service. Instead, the experience felt subpar, reminiscent of the same issues masked by a superficial elegance. I work very hard for my money and have certain expectations regarding the service it should secure.I leave reviews to help ensure that others do not have to endure similar disappointments. I strongly recommend implementing customer service training for your staff to prevent future patrons from feeling the way I did. Its crucial for the success of your establishment to meet the high standards suggested by its luxurious appearance.

Food (room service) - I ordered the angus burger w/ seasoned fries, a side of red beans and rice and the hush puppies w/ honey butter. The burger was salty…honestly don’t know why or how this happened, the fries were soggy…I hate that. But, it’s because they packaged the food in resealable containers which locks in moisture from the heat the food gives off therefore making the fries soggy. The red beans and rice…nah. Skip it. No one on earth adds scallions to garnish red beans and rice. Throws off the entire taste which tasted like the beans came from a can. Nope. The hush puppies weren’t bad.All in all - 5 out of 10

Food: Biscuits, po boy, and chicken and waffles were all okay but accounting for the price they were really lacking. What effectively comes to $50 per person (after that awesome autogratuity) the food shouldnt be fine with the number of restaurants in the area meeting higher standards at similar or lower prices points.Service - This is where the real issue lies, I think. None of the individual staff were particularly unfriendly or did anything deliberate but there seems to be an issue in organization and management. We were seated during a fairly slow lunch service staffed with a floor manager, two visible weight staff, and one bartender. There didnt seem to be dedicated servers for tables and no one consistently tracked whether we had issues. We waited 45 minutes for biscuits that their own menu says they source locally so should have been easy to get to the table and then an additional 30 minutes after that for our entrees. It felt like sloppy execution since there were several times we saw the staff visibly waiting for their next task. I dont expect it to be waited on hand and foot but if my water glass is empty for 10 minutes and people are just standing around its a little frustrating at the price point being charged.Atmosphere - The dining room itself is nice but they were setting up for some sort of event later in the day and did constant sound checks throughout our entire 1 hour and 30 minutes at the table. I understand you need to get set up but sacrificing the quality of the experience for one group of guests for the benefit of a later group of guests when you are, again, charging at a premium... Just doesnt feel like the restaurant is meeting the standard suggested by the cost.Additionally, Auto gratuity on a two-party table when service is so bad its kind of offensive. Not giving diners the option of choosing not to tip for mismanaged service should not be a practice this restaurant moves forward with.

My friend ordered Satchmos Shrimp n Grits and loved it, personally I though it was just okay. Avoid the Calloway Wings, they were dry and didnt have much flavor. The cocktails are also pretty weak. The most disappointing part of this dinner was the service. When we were seated it there were about 6-7 tables with people maximum but it might as well have been packed. We had to ask for small plates for the appetizers and it took forever to get our bill. We saw our server maybe about four times, and no one on the staff was kind. This is the type of restaurant to order and take your food home/to your room, not ideal for dining in.

It’s saddens me to come back and write a second review after leaving such an amazing review previously I decided to take my uncle out to brunch for his birthday. I just knew that he would enjoy the aesthetics and menu as I did the first time, but there were some major changes to this establishment in such a short time, I’m not sure exactly what happened to all their staff, but it appears they might’ve hired very young workers that might not show up to work or who can possibly quit at any moment. It took over an hour and a half to obtain two salads and two drinks. The salads were underdressed, and the salmon was not seasoned when the drinks arrived at our table. The drinks were watered down from sitting too long it took at least 20 minutes for a waitress to come over. It appears they might have had a change in management It alsoseems like the hotspot where staff congregates is at the bar however, there are several customers waiting on food drinks or even condiments. I wanted a second drink, but had to go to the bar to order my own drink. Seeing as the waitress never came back with the beverage, I was then charged gratuity at the bar for one drink even though the waitress never came back with my drink. I understand this establishment might be striving from black excellence however black excellence is apologizing to your customers for the long wait or even comping an appetizer or a drink , nothing of the sort was offered left sour taste in my mouth. I traveled from Staten Island to come to this restaurant and I can honestly say this experience was very subpar. For the amount of time I traveled to come to this restaurant. It definitely wasn’t worth it.

Was in the area for work and saw that this new spot had recently opened and wanted something more of what 125th street is generally giving as dinner options. Arrived in the lobby. Immediately got the vibe I was either waiting to go to a lawyers office or a dentist. Cold. Generally run by security guards. One on the 5th floor restaurant, I walked up to what I thought was the check in desk for the restaurant. Three people were fumbling with computers and after about a minute of not being acknowledged I decided Id just bypass and go straight to the bar to eat. Beautiful bar, but too bright for any vibe. Bar lights were off. Cool ceiling light that I see in all the pictures, off. Again, lots of activity behind the bar...maybe three people at the bar eating. Took easily 3 minutes to be acknowledged. I asked if I could eat at the bar...sure. Never asked if I wanted a drink. I eventually chose to try the burger. Food came and dropped off at the seat next to me. Odd. No one ever came back. Still no drink. But a nonstop party behind the bar. Burger was dry and flavorless. Paid and left feeling disappointed. I hope they pull it together. The calamari at this place is exceptional! It was perfectly seasoned, fresh, and delightfully crispy. I highly recommend it, a solid 10/10. The French 75 was equally delightful, a truly refreshing drink. The service from our servers was outstanding and attentive!

Ambiance!!! Food!!! Drinks!!! Staff!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our night here. This is a great place for a night cap before kicking off your night. The calamari was so fresh and flavorful. This place is highly recommended.

Had a great time, drinks were excellent, food was really good. Our server, Don, was top notch and provides excellent service. I’ll definitely be back. Looking forward to the Brunch service in the future!

We had a few minor issues, but Don was a great server and did his best to assist at all times. Really great people here. We also got free ice cream :)

The Victoria is a beautiful new spot in the heart of Harlem. Too bad the service is atrocious.I was there with a group of 6 and the place was largely empty. It took 35 minutes to get 2 basic cocktails. No one checked on the table, one drink came with a hair on the glass, and the dome over the table leaked on our food! We had to flag staff to order food! The food was pretty good tbh but it took about 45 mins to get appetizers. The ambiance has what it takes to be a premier destination but the service issues have to be addressed (I work in hospitality at a similar property as a director). They must do better if they want Harlem to embrace them since service is key to success in this business. Hopefully they can get it together.

Oh WOW!! What a beautiful experience! Just everything about the place. The staff are so lovely, Golfie, Kiara, Don. Felt like we had known them for years!! The food is divine!! I can’t even explain the cheesecake, best I have ever tasted!! So wish this restaurant was in Australia, love to you all🙏🏽💖🙏🏽

Lovely venue. Very stylish. Bar needs better payment options than the silly printed receipts which are so pre-pandemic - when it’s busy, taking payment takes way too long.

This place was horrible, while waiting for dinner they asked us to swap tables while waiting for dinner ,very tacky and then to get the food that was horrible, crispy chicken salad was chicken burnt and shredded cheese from your local grocery store and some lettuce and creamy sauce, not something that you would expect at a restaurant if it’s 5 stars, the hush puppies was made with flour and not cornmeal, and the fried okra was absolutely disgusting, don’t recommend the food at all and will not recommend it to anyone, very disappointing and not sure why Harlem can’t have a nice restaurant to really enjoy, never again!!!

The dishes were very good and filling without being excessive. On the other hand, the service was very long and the servers were not always friendly. The restaurant is super pretty. A musician was playing jazz for us but it was quite noisy.
