Good, no frills spot for an easy meal. Came here for a last minute brunch and was thankful to get a table! The place has a 2 for 1 brunch special where you get 2 drinks per person for the price of 1 - say less! Drinks were tasty and boozy. The breakfast burrito was delicious- well seasoned, hearty and filling. It came with home fries - again a very generous portion.Great neighborhood spot and will be back for more!
I have been here twice for lunch and its such a cute place. On the menu, it looks like they serve breakfast and lunch. They do have a bar with a really nice assortment of drinks 🍸They were also so kind to my mother, who is in a wheelchair. We wanted to go in, and they had two big steps, and my husband pulled her up with the wheelchair. 2 employees offered to help, which was sweet, but we were ok. They do have outdoor covered seating 1 level.I had the double stacked burger with 1 egg on top and the canjun fries, which were delicious. My mom and hubby had the chicken sandwich it comes with sweet chili sauce, coleslaw, aoli mayo served on a kaiser roll, and your pick of fries 🍟 My preferred drink was a mimosa.Thank you all for being kind.
The most amazing atmosphere and service!! The bartender David was absolutely fantastic and lovely to talk to. He was fast, attentive, and made delicious drinks. Also, my group got taking to a server named Ali and she was wonderful and so personable. Will be coming back and recommending to friends.
We were welcomed and seated promptly. Mind you, we arrived here after our first choice restaurant was closed for a private event. A server at that restaurant recommended this place and I was glad he did. Food here was good, each item was of relative small portions, but very flavorful and each item was crafted for enjoyment. We got the brussel sprouts, wings, a burger, shredded chicken tacos. This place is more bar than restaurant but we wanted food and we were satisfied with the quality, we did end up ordering more wings. After a certain hour the music got really loud and our New Yorker daughter reminded us that they were converting to more of the bar vibe!!!
The Worst Experience RACIST !!!!During my visit to New York, my friends and I went out to celebrate and stopped at this bar. Unfortunately, this place is nothing more than a racist. We were hanging out with friends, chilling, having a few beers, and talking to two girls from New York who were sharing more about life in the city and just having a normal conversation. In the middle of our conversation, a bartender named Michael came over, threw my beer in the trash, and asked me to leave the bar without any reason. It was simply a disgusting experience, and I would recommend anyone who wants to have fun to stay away from this place.
Wonderful!I only went to this bar once after first moving to New York, so was excited to go again. Don’t be put off by the appearance of needing to book a table, they were able to seat us without issue!I plonked myself down on an outside table just in time for the end of happy hour - value cocktail secured! - on a Thursday. The waitress then managed to direct my guest to the table, using only the description of ‘if a lost looking teenager turns up, then send him to me!’Cocktails were nice and pleasant and the atmosphere isn’t one where you feel you have to quaff them at speed before moving on to the next. For food, we had the margarita flatbread - read fancy margarita pizza - and cheeseburger. Both superb, with the truffle chips an added bonus! My fellow diner did complain about the size of the margarita, but a good meal all round!Looking forward to my next visit!
We popped in on a Saturday evening, to our surprise we got a table very fast. The table was not properly cleaned but they cleaned it right away after we asked. The food and drinks were all pretty average. Seriously nothing wrong with it but also nothing special about it.We shared the potato wedges, burrata, and the nachos.*I would not recommend the nachos*I would recommend the sangria. There is only one bathroom which created a line on a weekend evening.
Great spot, love their outdoor tented patio! The restaurant is extremely loud just FYI. However, our food was delicious, the tuna on crispy rice, buddha bowl and steak sandwich were all a hit! Our service was great, they checked in on us frequently.
Jackdaw might be the best value for money in the city and I can’t recommend it enough. I live a few blocks away, come here often, and this place never disappoints, if you haven’t been here - run here! The service is consistently great, all their cocktails are a smash hit (especially spicy margaritas and their awesome Bloody Mary) and the food items are delicious. Brunch here is incredible, I highly recommend the French toast and breakfast burger, plus the flatbread and brunch punch.Jackdaw has been, and will always be one of my top spots in the city.
Really fire chicken sandwich, which you can get for I think 10$ in a lunch special.Like super fire, because I don’t even like chicken.Drinks where nice too.Incredible fries.Service was okay.
Ambiance (2/5): On a Friday night, we secured reservations at 7:30pm on the same day. We were seated immediately and right next to the hostess. There were supplies nested between the hostess table and our table that we had to jump over in order to reach the benches. Firstly, the place was extremely dark and so loud that you could hardly hear your table across the table. I wanted to eat quickly so I could get out of there.Cocktails (5/5): Their cocktails were very reasonably priced (~$15) and delicious! I tried their Lychee Martini and Fall Mule.Steak Sandwich (2/5): The steak bites were lightly seasoned but most of the pieces were too tough to enjoy. I liked the flavors of the sautéed mushrooms and onions. I appreciated that the bread could handle the weight of the steak.Jackdaw Smashburger (4/5): I really liked the taste of the burger patty but nothing really stood out with the rest of the burger (e.g. standard bun/house sauce)Cajun fries (5/5): I asked for the fries to be cooked well-done and they delivered! They were super crispy and flavored. Honestly could have had this as just my meal.
Very cute place. Very cute bar with really nice drinks. The happy hour is also p good.
Great service! Friendly staff. Wonderful atmosphere. Wifey and I will definitely be back. Didnt try the brunch menu.
The place is great, the happy hour drinks were so much better than the regular cocktails I almost felt bad wasting time and money on the regular cocktails. Definitely try their old fashioned and sangria. Strong and delicious drinks. Their food is very good too. I had the flatbread and it was amazing!
My close friends had planned an amazing birthday day out for me, and our NYC fun day started from this bar at 11 in the morning. I think this was the only bar they managed to find, which opens at 11!We were glad to walk into a rather empty, but extremely well decorated holiday setup and Owen, the friendly and amazing bar tender was the one who ensure our 2 hour stay was very pleasant! We ordered Bomb IPA which was an amazing Hazy IPA on draught to try. Highly recommend this, if you are a Hazy IPA fan. For cocktails, we stuck to their very popular Margarita Picante ($11) - has an amazing spice kick to it, and not at all sweet. We also tried their Paloma ($15) which was ok, but not as good when compared to the Margarita.Service, set-up, and everything else was spot on. Will definitely visit again for brunch some day!
The most unexpected elegantly beautiful ambiance. The drinks were great (especially the Frozen Passionfruit margarita) and the food was okay. It definitely fit the description of what I was looking for
Nice spot to hang out at night. They have had a DJ playing every time I’ve been there. Sometimes can find a booth to sit in but otherwise standing room only. Nice patio/outdoor seating section too.
Tbh, this was not my fav brunch place. The food was so overpriced and such small portions and I didn’t love the drinks that much either :( sorry
Service needs some work (pitcher glasses were dirty?) but my bacon avocado toast was really yummy. We had the WB Spritz pitcher and liked it.
A nice, casual bar. The cocktails are solid, with natural ingredients instead of syrups. The mocha shot is interesting but could be dangerously addicting.
Chose this place as a pregame spot on a random Tuesday evening. They have 50% off wine bottles on Tuesdays. Their happy hour cocktails are awesome, too. The nachos w guac was, well, nacho with guacs. Their outdoor set up has VERY strong heaters. And one of the sides is open, so plenty of fresh air. Will definitely return.
The food was excellent. Nice small bar but the stools are so uncomfortable it just makes it unjoyable. Highly recommend the Pork / Fried Chicken Bao Buns. Pizza was better then i expected and the drinks were amazing!
They hit it right out of the park. Music in dining room was a bit loud for conversation, but that’s probably because I’m old.
Really good music and staff. Our bartender was super sweet and attentive to us. The drinks were so good and the restaurant was packed yet the service was great. We just went for drinks but I can’t wait to come back for the food. The lychee martini was delicious!
If you want to wonder if you’re in hell or if it’s just that hot step right up! I could enjoy my sandwich over wondering if it was raining or I was just not doing too well. In 2024 no AC is insane
I’ve been here multiple times now, both day & night, and Jackdaw does it all!Brunch food is pretty good with 2 for 1 cocktail deals that round you out to $6.5 per drink and make for a very fun experience with friends. They have a good happy hour deal for post-work drinks, AND make for a great place for a night out.Service is decent although it can be hard to get a waiter at times, and ambiance is warm & intimate. I will definitely be returning, as this place has already become one of my neighborhood staples :)
Food was amazing and they had a great mocktail menu. I do wish they had more booth seating inside but regardless it was a great visit. I recommend the burger
Bets Cold Brew martini in NYC….bartenders are friendly and the ambience slaps !
***You need to check your bills here!! Scammer vibes. I came here within the last few days with a large group. We had a shared tab and then as more people in our group showed up they started individual tabs at the bar. 3 of us with individual tabs AND our $300+ group tab all had a ton of random additions of drinks. One of us got two coronas and a Guinness, the bartender set the card reader down with a $100 total, which he argued. When I bought 2 coronas I was charged $26. Upon checking their website it appears the actual total should have been $16. I get it’s busy and times are tough but this is really insane to do. The staff here is preying on people being easy going and trusting.
Overall, GREAT brunch spot! They were able to accommodate a large group outside, and the food was delicious! Very well priced bottomless brunch as well! I personally like that you can get any cocktail for the bottomless option, not just a mimosa. I would personally recommend the Irish breakfast sandwich. The vibe of the restaurant was also very fun, with good music and the staff was great. Highly recommend!
I took my team here for after work drinks — it was a lot of fun! The service was a bit slow but the food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were done well. Loved that they had non-alcoholic options too!
Went for brunch. The breakfast sandwich on sourdough was delightful, and the latte was perfect. There was a mix up with my wifes order and they brought out a completely wrong dish. They brought her the right dish and took it off of our bill. Overall it was a good experience and Ill return.
The bartenders were friendly, Great vibe and lots of beautiful people. Intimate feeling place with the dim lighting and the way the seating is arranged but also can get a little loud would recommend it more for a group of friends than a date. Been here twice and will definitely be back.
Went on Sunday with a friend. Staff are so friendly, attentive and professional. Also, I must note, male staff very attractive and have the best accents! Food was really good. The burger!!!! So yummy!! Flat bread good as well. I have nothing negative to say. We sat outside but not much foot traffic so it felt safe. Definitely recommend and will be returning.
I loved brunch here, the cocktail selection is great and very unique compared to the traditional brunch selections. There is also a bottomless option, so you can try as many cocktails as you’d like. The food was very fresh as well.
Service was very slow. Too expensive for no reason and we couldn’t hear anything because the music was so loud.
Had an open bar for a birthday with some friends and it was a great time. They gave us a roped off area and had great service.
Their Old Fashioned is on draft and its amazing every time.
I had been meaning to come here for awhile and I am so glad I did. The space is very nice. They open at 11:00a.m. which is great because sometimes one wants to hangout during the day. You dont have to wait till evening for Happy Hour. On top of Happy Hour they also have Daily Specials. I went on Wednesday and the special was Bao Buns for $3 each, you have to get a minimum of three but you can mix them. I got two Pork Bao Buns and one 🍤 Shrimp Bao Bun. They were 😋. It is an amazing deal. The service is good and the bartender, Rory, was very nice. The atmosphere was relaxed. Prices are decent for the area. I definitely intend to go back.
Food is fantastic, great atmosphere, amazing service.
Pleasantly surprised! food was rlly good, drinks were fine. cute atmosphere.
Wonderful place for brunch and late night drinks! The staff is very nice and our server Matthew was great. One of my go-to spots for sure!
Old Fashioned was excellent ... I had forgotten what a real cocktail tasted like! The flatbread was yummy and hit the spot. Service was attentive but not pushy ... You were never waiting of you wanted to place an order. Everyone was socially distanced but atmosphere was such that you could forget for a moment about the Pandemic. Def returning!
Great atmosphere, good drinks. They could improve on the speed of service. Even when its not busy, some of the bartenders seem nonchalant and slow to take orders. Ill still go back. Ill up my review to five stars if the experience changes. :)
Great drinks. Chicken sandwich is unreal
Waiter was good, he owned up to my friends food order being an hour 15 min late, and wanted to buy us drinks. It wasnt his fault because it was a full brunch and they were short staffed. I appreciated the gesture though. Food was pretty tasty too.
It’s a casual sit down place you would order food and drinks. This would be ideal if they didn’t blast music so loud there to the point you can’t even hear the person you’re next to or your table without yelling. The atmosphere is confusing to me as it’s incredibly loud but set up to be a sit down restaurant.
Great food and drink choices. My go to is the Frozen Pineapple Marg which are $10 on Margarita Mondays. Tacos are also $3 on Mondays but they weren’t that amazing. We also ordered the steak skewers that came on a bed of quinoa. They were so tender and flavorful. I always order the buffalo chicken flatbread and it’s always amazing. Will try other flavors soon.
What a place! Totally recommended! They have such a huge variety of drinks - espresso martini, brunch punch, and pina colada just to name a few that you wouldn’t anywhere else for bottomless brunch. And so much effort for each drink - they put the same they would for a regular drink. Amazed! The food is great, wish they had more options, but this is just the only note out of a great time.Must go!
Keelin is the best waitress. Gave us great service. As usual.
I love this place. The vibe, food, and drinks are all top tier. Really enjoyed service. Special thanks to Liam for creating superb drinks and making my day brighter.Def recommend
The food and the service were good. Its a solid weekend brunch spot with big enough portions to soak up the bottomless drinks. The star of the menu was definitely the frozen passion fruit margarita...strong but heavenly (and a great way to kick-off a tipsy Saturday). We got a variety of dishes but my parmesan eggs were good (needed a bit of pepper). We sat outside in the outdoor structure on the side of the building and it was tight so I took off one star for that. There was a huge group behind us that kept having people arrive even though there was no space for additional stools but the server still squeezed them in...so I spent brunch with my back fully touching someone elses. Maybe spring for inside if you come with a group.
Hot damn! Such good food. Had the grilled cheese with jalapeño and veggie soup. Hit the spot!! Incredible!! My mom had the curry and she lovedd it as well. The servers were so friendly too.
I came here to try the cocktails. Compared to some of the craft cocktail bars in the neighborhood, the menu is a little small and some of the drinks are less inventive, but the price is good. My wife and I tried the Strawberry Negroni and the Dear Maud. They were both quite tasty and well balanced. We also got the Sweet, Salty, Spicy Flatbread which was also good and lived up to its name. It was a good sized portion for the price.
Had a quick lunch in Jackdaw. Salad was amazing! Service great and atmosphere very cozy.
Matthew was an absolutely incredible server! Great environment! Good drinks
Jackdaw has a great happy hour as well as a lunch special running currently. The bartender was sweet, quick and attentive on a busy Friday night. The space is cute and small, but cozy and good for small groups of four. Can get quite loud as the party crowd trickles in. Only gripe is that they definitely could have serviced the bathrooms a bit more.
I’m sure the food, etc. is fine. But on a Saturday night, we tried going there with a group of girls and guys (in equal numbers) and the bouncer told us guys would only be allowed if they were over 23, which some of us weren’t. Girls were all OK.Just seemed really odd. If it’s really that busy just charge a cover like everyone else, don’t let half of us in and then pull this B.S.If you look at other negative reviews here it’s the same bouncer who another girl said assaulted her. Stay away from that guy at night!
Food was delicious and the frozen pineapple margarita was one of the best ive ever had. BUT this place was so obnoxiously loud on the inside so we ate in the front which was still nice. Service was okay. This is a place to eat and chill and get drunk
Apparently becoming well known for lots of people with accents. I happen to be one of them.Great bar, cool atmosphere and the bartenders are welcoming. Great mix of people and generally a grown up place.Happy to recommend.
This place was great. Quick service, good bottomless cocktails, and the waiter Matthew was very nice
Food is basic, frozen fare, that they overcharge for. They CHARGE A SERVICE FEE for a Credit Card!!!????No sign anywhere telling you this! Who carries cash these days?Credit card fees are the cost of doing business in a restaurant, the consumer does not pay this!Try making yourselves cash only and see your long you survive...WILL NOT RETURN.
The dim lighting, high top tables, and bumping music make it perfect for a date night or dinner with friends. My favorite part about Jackdaw is the happy hour lasting till 8pm on the weekdays and 7pm on weekends, making it the perfect place to get your night started! Every drink on the happy hour menu is under $10 and I especially recommend the margarita picante or sangria. The service was very attentive making sure our glasses were always full and our shared plates including the bao puns, chicken tacos, and brussel sprouts were on point. Add this one to your list for pre-going out dinners & cheap drinks!
Wish I took photos. Amazing experience. Quick service, creative drinks, extensive drink menu. AMAZING food options. I loved the salad with priuschutto
Really really great food. Marvelous staff. But the music was way too loud. I dont understand the purpose of such loud music in a restaurant. This is for people not interested in conversation and bent on becoming deaf. Id go back earlier for the food, though.
Solid place to grab drinks and a bite. The happy hour specials are legit too. Keep your eyes open because you may pass by this place and miss the gem it is.
So nicely decorated! Drinks were good, had Aperol (good), and Sangraa (very good)! Had a bunch of Christmas decorations which was exactly what I was looking for!
Friendly staff, the food was surprisingly exceptional for a bar. The music inside was a bit on the loud side, but there are outdoor seating options.
Cozy spot, roomy and great service. The drinks were good. We ordered nachos, wings and potatoes wedges. Our food was ok, nothing to rave about.
Everything on brunch menu was incredibly sweet, even the grapefruit juice was full of sugar
Dont recommend coming here for dinner. Our appetizer, nachos (super difficult, I get it) came out at the same time as our meals 45 minutes later. The water cups are shot glasses. 15+ minutes to wait for the bathroom. Food was bad [I ordered a gyro with rice and it came with a side of ranch (lmaoooo)]. Most meals come with Tayto Chips. Bar tender was sassy because not everyone ordered drinks. I will say the ambiance and the flatbread pizza was good tho.
Decent brunch. We got got bottomless and they didn’t come around to our table enough to make it worth it… The avocado toast is actually guacamole toast, which is a very different vibe.
Food was tasty and so were the drinks. Service was amazing
My wife had the steak sandwich (mushrooms on the side), she first said Oh My God 18 times, followed by her point that she usually likes the sides better than the dish, but this was the first time in a long time it was reversed. Tacos (monday special) were great, too. Drinks were well balanced and worth noting a good variety. My favorite was the Killer Bee, or something like that. Even good mocktails. Music was on point, server was attentive, Xmas lights were perfect for the ambiance. Not much choice for desserts, but all around 10/10 night. Were just traveling through NYC, but we would come back if given an opportunity. If youre tossing the coin on a couple of places, definitely give this one a shot.
Good place for a group! The inside is dark and intimate. Came for happy hour. The Ily cocktail was too sweet for me
Great drinks and fantastic service! Didnt order any food, but it all looked good. Loved the music and energy at Jackdaw. Will be back!
Drinks were delicious, decently priced, and just strong enough. Interior has a rustic vibe. They have an attractive outdoor seating set up as well.
It’s a good happy hour place! $2 tacos and and $8 margaritas on Mondays until 8pm! The margaritas were really good. Only two choices for tacos: chicken or pork. They were kinda small but it’s $2...
Liam is the best server !!! you should promote him to be a manager!!!!
The spicy margaritas and the burrata are out of this world! Great service too🥰
Love the new spot. Real Irish bartenders are going to turn this place around quick. They are so accommodating, helpful and friendly. Highly recommend visiting this exciting new place in the village if your around. 👌🏻
Pretty great spot! The flatbread was delicious, drinks are a bit expensive but overall nice experience. The waitstaff wasn’t wearing masks which was a bit odd.
Such a good deal for brunch - for less than $50, you can get unlimited cocktails (and good ones) as well as a good meal. The cold brew martini is great and definitely worth the price. The place does get busy so try and make a reservation. Looking forward to coming back here soon sometime in the future.
Ill be honest, I was very drunk when I came in so I dont rmemeber too much but what I do remember is I had ordered Mac and cheese and prosciutto sandwich and it was so good I ordered a second prosciutto sandwich. The spicy margaritas were the highlight of my night however. Definitely coming back
Great brunch spot! 2 for one drink menu has great options!
I’ve been here for both brunch and dinner and food & drinks do not disappoint. everything ive had is super flavorful AND reasonably priced (most dishes are
The wait staff are rather inattentive. I was in a group of 5 and it took about 2 hours for someone to take our order. The drinks and food were good. Perhaps we just came on an off night.
I’d describe it as a chill place to hang at for Sunday brunch. Reasonably priced
Very friendly staff. Great food. Good happy hour and drinks are nice and strong. Youre definitely getting your moneys worth.
We reserved the patio a week in advance, showed up and didnt have a table on the patio 🙄We were only a party of two! This place probably rocks but dont bother trying to reserve with COVID safety in mind.
Best brunch spot, get the OG
Outstanding service and delicious cocktails. Highly recommend putting this at the top of your list for east village bars. Happy hour is also incredible
Jackdaw is very solid spot for brunch or dinner with a crew. You should note - it’s definitely lively and usually a little on the louder side. The spicy margs are quite good.
Such a cute place, love their christmas decorations too
Food was amazing. I had the breakfast flat bread. Its a must try. Service was great. Their drinks on their bottomless brunch menu is a must have.
All brunch food was tasty and every item from the salad-toast-potatoes were seasoned well. Waitress was really friendly, although service was a bit inattentive after we first got our food.
Sunday brunch! In the beginning, we felt ignored, while seating in the back by the open door, blowing in cold air! However, the food and drinks were good. This is a 1 and done place for us!
My friends and I went there for lunch. Great lunch Menu, amazing margaritas and outstanding service! Of course we are coming back. We love this place🤗❤️
Went there twice for bottomless brunch and got the same poor service both times :( Took an hour to get our drinks and you have to flag down the waiter each time you want to refill your drink. So it’s not really bottomless. Also portions are small
Orders drinks and snacks during their happy hours and the price was decent. Their chips, guac and salsa was amazing.
Neighborhood favorite. Good food. Cute crowd. Excellent service though I can often drink the margarita on the rocks in one big gulp. 🖤
Good food. Great service.
Great food and quick service. We still never got the ketchup to go with the brunch, but kept getting lots of bottles of water which was great. It wasnt really good that they squeezed eight of us into a spot that really held six, but Im happy that at least we got to go there with a reservation and try the food.
Very nice atmosphere and awift staff. Food was good although a tad pricey for the proportions. However, very filling, with an extensive and flexible line up
Great drinks! Louder music.
Cheap drinks and solid brunch in East Village
Great cocktails, really interesting menu, great service. Great place to go on a date or with friends. Definitely will go back.
Great gin options! Great natural light during the day- super chill with delicious food (heard it gets pretty rowdy at night). Super clean and nice decor.
Fun vibe and delicious espresso martinis
Great drinks and brunch!
The place is so relaxing and amazingly clean. The drinks are awesome and the food was to die for!!! Totally will recommend it to my friends and family!
I can’t find words to describe it, i went twice, and this weekend will be my third, best place to forget your obligations and your bad temper “LEO” is the the great bartender who helped you and his eyes always on you to take what you order in spite of the crowd and huge amount of ppl, i hope he will not upset of sharing the attached video … thanx for the great time will meet you soon
Liam is the best bartender !!!Everyone come here!!!Ask for liam !!! He is super good trust me 😏
This place is super fun and the daily specials are really great. The small plates are good, but the vibes are amazing.
I attended 12/13/23. After I have fever 2 days and cant eat 2 days. I think after food.
Liam is the best barte!! He should be a manager
Great brunch! Been here for a few bar nights too and can get crowded but is fun.
I came to Jackdaw last night for my birthday with a group of friends and had a great time. To start, they were super accommodating when I called to make a reservation for a large party for a Friday night, and even more so when I called again day of to add a few more seats. The wait staff was really polite and professional, I remember several of them coming around multiple times to ask us if we needed anything. And the vibe, ambiance, and drinks were also amazing. Will definitely be recommending to friends.
Definitely a college student bar. Went for Brunch. Food wasnt bad. Advertised bottomless brunch, but on arrival, I was informed they didnt serve it.
Liam was such a great bartender & the vibe is amazing here! Went on a Tuesday night for after dinner drinks and had great service. Definitely will be back when I am back in town!
DO NOT GO HERE!!! This place is incredibly racist. My boyfriend and his friend had a terrible experience here. They wanted a cocktail and were told to order something simple (very rudely) so they did. When my boyfriend went to the bathroom the bartender took his drink that was half full even though his friend told the bartender it wasn’t finished he still took it and threw it away and when my boyfriend came back he told him that is was empty and then tried to kick him out and eventually did. He was racially profiling them from the moment they stepped into the bar. The bouncers had all made friends with the pair. In New York City of all places this should not be accepted and people like this need to be fired.
Was given a spoiled lychee martini and the place was filthy
A great local spot for craft cocktails and bites! I absolutely loved the bar team, so fun, knowledgeable, and friendly!
Liam is the best bartender there is!!!!!Come here everyone!!! Worth !!! Every penny
Great option for brunch. The drinks are all awesome but I would particularly recommend the espresso martini.
Amazing..The blood orange cocktail.. blew my mind
Ordered the Shakshuka and was not impressed. The piña coladas and bottomless drinks were not good either - overall, not impressed.
This is a college kids’ bar. Food might be good, service..All that aside- I live on the street and it is 100% college kids
Great place
Pretty good brunch and coffee, friendly and attentive service, but extremely loud.
Lovely place smashing food, drinks and service! An i aint just talking smack about Jack daw lol i had too. Great spot make it a go always.
Very delicious food and drink, perfect staff
Love Jackdaw. Great happy hour. Yummy food. Nice outdoor space.
Pro’s: cute, trendy, great food and drinksCon’s: often loud and crowded
We just had brunch here on a Sunday morning and unfortunately we will probably not be returning. The food was alright (we ordered the eggs benedict, an omelette, french toast, and the breakfast flatbread) but our reservation was at 10:00am and we were not served our food until 12:00pm as the singular chef of the restaurant did not show up until 11:30am.To top it all off, they have the smallest water cups that I have ever seen in my entire life, barely bigger than a shot glass. I have included a picture with my sunglasses for reference.
Just stopped in, what a great place. Menu is solid too! I had the Irish Toastie. Cant wait for another one.
Liam is the best bartender!!!!!You should come here and ask for him !!!!
Food was decent, got the tuna tartare, guacamole and burrata (which btw came with a butternut squash salad) and all were great picks. I got the shrimp bao buns and friends got the flatbreads. All were amazing. Service was friendly, definitely recommend.
Great bartender, my favorite Whiskey, and a good vibe most nights of the week. Tuesday was lively.
Amazing drinks, good vibes, great staff, what else do you want?
Hottest spot in NYC, The bartenders are to die for! The drinks are incredible and the owners are absolutely sexy!
Brunch here was okay—seemed like the staff was a bit frazzled due to low staff numbers and high volume of people. Drink was great and food looked good as well.
Great happy hour!
Nice environment. solid bar. would go back. bouncers we’re friendly too.
Good drinks, trash service - have a 1.5hour bottomless where it takes 25 mins to bring out a drink.
Just had drinks. excited to go back for food. lovely people!
A great place for drinks with a very long happy hour.
Here is the updated specials menu. I went in for the $20 flatbread and wine special I saw on the website but it was outdated. So I was disappointed:(
Great food, great drinks, staff are on point, one of my davourite spots in the village
Solid wait staff at the bar. Descent brunch menu, but the real steal is the brunch cocktail special.
Denise was the ultimate hostess. In the middle of Covid, she is a bright light. thank you
Amazing drinks, food and atmosphere! Always a great time there!!
Wonderful food!! Great Staff!! The vibe to die for. Keep it up.
Cant go wrong with the 2$ tacos on Monday. Def a good hangout spot.
Theyve gotten rid of a few of my favorites. The dinner menu has gotten trendier and smaller. RIP Shepherds PieIn all honesty, its a small gripe. But 🤷♂️
Delicious food!
Okay food and drinks for a solid price. Lots of room inside and outside. Vibe is a bit more young and loud as it gets later on in the night.
Home away from home, love this place
Terrible service, food was mid. Drinks werent bad.
Only had cocktails there which were good
Food and drinks were good. Difficult to get service but overall was fun.
I had a delicious burger and none stop Bloody Maries for brunch. It was under 50. I enjoyed the lighting, the appropriate volume of music and quick service. I would come back with friends to hang out for brunch.
We went here for brunch. Among our dining party, we were about split between lunch foods and breakfast foods. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich with the chicken being well fried and sauced but very thin giving a high ratio of bread to chicken. My girlfriend got the best meal of the breakfast Flatbread which, for those of us who like feta cheese, was an absolute treat. We sat outside which was nice as the busy interior was a little noisy.
Love this place -- great food, drinks, and people in the East Village. What more can you ask for.
No dirty Shirley’s. Don’t waste time here
Went here for drinks after seeing a play nearby. staff was super friendly and accompanied of our large group, and food and drinks were delicious. great time!
Gotta love this bottomless brunch spot. Great food too!
The decibel level in here on a Friday night is dangerous. The Pinot Grigio was terrible
Liam is the best bartender!!!!
This spot has a great laidback atmosphere, good happy hour, and tasty food. The bao buns and the nachos were delicious.
Delightful place. Good drinks, good staff, no sports hooligans because no screens...just music and conversation!
Great drinks and food and a friendly staff!
If youre here for a brunch, make sure to sit by the bar. Those drinks kept flowing and the sandwiches on the brunch menu were a nice addition. Great place for a brunch deal
Great food!!The food was really good. And its a great vibe!!
Most beautiful and friendly and smart and funny and kind and compassionate female staff in New York City!
Great spot to grab brunch, the drinks and food were great!
Love this place. Great service and food. Very memorable nights here
Delish food, friendly staff and now they have new plants :)
The cheeseburger was great! Their sauce for the fries is addictive!
Trendy place. Go for the bottomless brunch drinks! Food just ok.
Saturday night, one Saturday before Christmas. Came up for the weekend, met up with friends DJ Eric Saga on the table - crushed it. 5 Stars. Coming back!
The way they let you order drinks is weird. You have to order two per person but at the same time to get the brunch special. The food was decent and the service was quick.
Lovely cocktail bar with friendly staff, can definitely recommend the killer Bee
The shrimp bao bun were really good. Great place for the happy hour!!
Good energy, food, and drinks, with also a fun area. Going to jackdaw is always fun
The place is thriving, plenty of good looking people having a good time. Service is very friendly and overall good atmosphere. Would come back. Recommended.
Beautiful place, fast service and all around good vibes.
Made a reservation for my birthday… We were a really big group for brunch on a Sunday and they were amazing at accommodating us. Our table was ready and the service was 10 out of 10! Food was really really good, drinks were strong and the prices were great. Highly recommend
Come here for beautifully made drinks! (I suggest you skip the food, though.)
Amazing food and drinks. Highly recommended
Went for happy hour. Appetizers were ok, service was good and drinks were fine. Cool spot overall.
Good service even when really busy. Gets loud inside during peak hours but thats common among a lot of places, and the outside area is particularly tranquil. Great cocktail selection
Very friendly bar with great staff and great drinks!
Elder millennial here…great experience at Jack Daw. The bar was packed, but easy to get a drink. Great music. Staff was super friendly, especially the manager who found me a private place to use my breast pump so I could keep partying and be a cool mom.
A very busy and popular EV brunch place, food is solid if unspectacular. They have a 2 for 1 drink special too. Slightly younger crowd but lively atmosphere
Service staff was not attentive to our table of 2 whatsoever on the patio. Wasted so much time being ignored we couldn’t even get a beverage or place our food orders and had trouble flagging down 3 different staff. Disappointing. Food and drinks were fine once we finally got service.
Hosted a great happy hour at Jackdaw! Reservations were super easy and the place comfortably accommodated our group of 15. Would highly recommend for future happy hours!
An absolute favorite! The 2 for 1 brunch deals were unbelievable! Celebrated my birthday there 2 weeks ago and have been recommending the place to all my friends
Food is okay but great atmosphere!
