Flying solo today. Time to up the ante on l exploring those back streets of popular and not so popular places of NYC.From #littleitalynyc to #chinatownnyc and everything in between, it was a walk of discovery that cements my reason for travelling.People.Food.Culture.Plus expanding my world view and as always - humbling.I ended up in the popular part of town #littleitalynyc at happy hour.I found @local92nyc in #mulberrystreet which somehow drew me in for its happy hour and I stayed for two.Texted JT to join me and we were reunited for another NYC experience.Although I didn’t have a meal, I will return, just on the superb service I received.Wanthy and Eric were my hosts and wow! What a great team. So friendly, accomodating and focussed on their guests. Thank you.The menu is enticing and certainly the interior design itself should draw people in.Bonus although that’s not the right word, I ended up chatting to Adam who recognised my accent. We chatted for two hours. It was a tough day for him yet he shared his story and we united on the grief of losing a parent.His mother was a nurse through the Covid pandemic, in particular working with the elderly. Before I left he thanked me for “listening and not judging”. Say no more.A reminder to thank those front line workers during that tumultuous time of 2020/2021.Today was a day of reawakening. Delightful food, drinks, music, and staff! Recommend the gin-based Lavender Refresher and Crispy Artichoke starter. Very welcoming vibe with a diverse array of seating and menu selections. Not the easiest to spot in a crowded street, but well worth the find!

My friends and I stopped in for a drink and a quick bite. Joselito gave us great service at the bar and made us delicious drinks! Food came out fast and was very tasty. Will definitely come back!

The food here was pretty good - I had the homemade gnocchi and really like it.However, the service here was pretty poor. A waiter never came to us and we had to go and ask both to order and then to get the bill - we were even all standing around the table waiting to leave for a while before one of us asked. Maybe it was a bad day, who knows!Good food, bad service.

Food was great, LOVED the tuna tartare, first time trying it and was delicious, favorite part of the night. The seafood paella was very flavorful, lots of seafood for your buck. Schnitzel chicken was fried very well, not greasy at all and perfectly crispy! I did ask for extra sauce on the side but overall, it was delicious. Service was also very good, friendly people and atmosphere was also beautiful!

We came here for lunch on a Saturday. We had a reservation, and when we came in and told him we had a reservation the guy looked at us like we had 3 heads. Thankfully space was available, so we sat right down. Service was terrible and very inattentive. It was busy, but not insane. I think they probably needed more staff on. Had to flag down the staff to order, for the check, etc. Drinks came after the food. Food was decent, but nothing I couldnt find elsewhere. In summary, this place is a hard pass—too many other places in this city with better service and menus.

Absolutely excellent! The food was delicious, staff was lovely and attentive. The owner of this place knows what he is doing and makes a mean cocktail, as well as their lead bartender. I will absolutely be back!

We went for a dinner on thanksgiving night, the food was not good and very expensive for what it was. My friend ordered a lobster ravioli that was more a smoked salmon ravioli it was smelling fish so badly. Moreover, the salmon was supposed to be served with kale and it was served with spinach, I don’t think it’s the same price…To end the dinner we wanted to have a tiramisu, the first one was still frozen.. so they gave another one that was still frozen also.The waiter Ethan was really nice, but guys if you don’t want to open for thanksgiving, just don’t.

Stopped in for a drink & some appetizers. Waiters were brisk and rude when we only asked what kind of nuts were on the Falafel. We ordered drinks during happy hour (before 7 p.m. on a Friday) and they upcharged a gin & tonic placed well before 7. When we ordered a second round, we asked specifically if it would still be considered happy hour and were told we could, but all of our drinks were charged full price anyway. On top of this, when it came time to pay, one of the waiters clicked a 25% tip when our party size (8) already involved an automatic tip. We corrected this. Overall it was just an underwhelming experience and disappointing given the positive reviews of the food.

Amazing little spot down in soho and the night I went got the host with the most. He was super attentive and friendly. The drinks were great, and the FML mojito was everything. The food was also great, I got the lamb kebobs with the lebnah which was delightful. A friend got the steak which was also done nicely. Ambiance was cute and the noise level wasnt to high.

BEST DRINKS IN NYC. The bar tenders are seriously so outgoing and sweet. One of the best places in NYC for service and a good time. Great music, even better atmosphere. Veronika was my server she was a sweetheart. Ethan came to our table and made sure our food was good. And the chef Carlos killed it. 🙏🏼 Coming back next month when I’m back in the city!

This place is filthy!! Huge pile of garbage every day out front for years! Rats everywhere! Always there a puddle of steaming green garbage juice that wafts into the seating area. I spoke to the manager and he had the audacity to tell me it was all legal and not his fault of the city didn’t pick it up. When he well knows he is required by law to get a private carter. I don’t know how they have not been shut down yet. The food is also tasteless and mediocre. Cheap ingredients. No wonder, considering how cheap the owner Marcelo is.

The most amazing brunch I’ve experienced in a long time! Shoutout to Erick and all the wonderful staff here. Our birthday girl was so excited to have such delicious food, drinks, and atmosphere! Thank you Erick and team 💖

My friend and I just got back from dinner here and we had the best dinner we’ve had in a while. The ingredients were so fresh. I felt like I was in heaven. I would definitely come back again. Service was awesome.Thank you.We ordered the Grape Leaves, Lamb-stuffed Pita, and Cheeseburger with charged pineapple.Cooked to perfection.

Ive walked past local 92 a million times and severelyy underestimated how good it would be. Its a Mediterranean restaurant with tapas in the east village with fabulous cocktails, vegan/vegetarian friendly food thats NOT just falafel, and attentive friendly service. Its perfect for happy hour, a romantic date night, or a girls night out.

Had the best time at local 92! The atmosphere is chic and the food was delicious. Definitely coming back!

We dined in this evening and had a very poor dinner. The service was terrible. We had to ask for water, to order, and the check. The dip appetizer was good, but everything else was simply okay. An unfortunate dining experience.

I was pretty impressed by my brunch experience here! The dishes are affordable and really tasty. The shakshuka is exactly what someone needs on a cold winter weekend morning. The avocado toast also was delicious, with an amazing creamy cheese on top and spectacular latkes.

Waited about 45 minutes for appetizers. The calamari, artichokes and pita bread came cold, and the labneh with zaatar looked and tasted like a big bowl of sour cream with a dash of seasoning in the middle. Really nothing worthy of a restaurant. The bruschetta was as basic as can be— just toast with diced tomato on top.Service was slow and we had to ask for water 4 consecutive times. We also never received the serving plates the waitress said she was bringing us to share the appetizers. We ended up going to the counter to pay for our meal because we were tired of waiting.

Excellent drinks the bar tender/ waitress went out of her way to make a custom drink for me a lot of seafood the menu was a little difficult but the bartender helped me explain what the menu translated into and the appetizers and the main entree were excellent

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I have to be honest about my experience at this restaurant. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences Ive had. While the bartender was really nice, the establishment was clearly disorganized and understaffed. I was seated at the bar, and I almost couldnt eat due to the lack of proper hygiene practices by the staff and bartender. I hope this feedback helps them improve.

My husband and I were looking at the menu outside and a man and a woman invited us to enter and telling us we will like it. I honestly wanted to go to the place next to them but my husband wanted pasta and not burgers like I wanted. We go back to see Local 92 menu and I notice the man smoking near the menu and the lady very happy saying we are back. We end up choosing this place and quickly got a sit in the middle very uncomfortable. Music too loud. The menus are in QR code. The waitress comes and we tell her what we want. We get the food but we didnt had the cutlery beforehand so we had to akwardly wait for some one to bring them to us. The food was ok. The ginger ale was meh. After we had finished we had waited for almost 20 minutes for someone to take the plates and we were trying to catch the atention of our waitress Sena (i think was her name) but she looked busy, when I finally got her atention I tell her I want the bill to pay and go. She did give me a little bit of attitude asking me if I had told her before and I told her I was trying to get her attention. After we got the bill we had to wait more because she and the lady that gave us a table in the beggining were to busy talking near the bar. I gather my things to see if you makes a move to us to take our payment but she didnt. My husband ended up going to them to pay and did not tip. Sena didnt look happy for this. I had noticed other people were quickly taken care of when they asked for the bill, with us it took a loooong time. Honestly, first time and last time for me. Do not recommend.

Pretty disappointed with local 92. Went during the San Gennaro festival and I can understand that it can affect quality sometimes. But we went in cause we were hungry and it was the only place without a wait. That should have been the warning sign. There were only 6 tables sat inside the resturant but yet we waited for what seemed like forever for our food. When the appetizer finally came out it was wrong. We sent it back and they said they would give us what we ordered but they just took the jalapeños off and gave it right back. When the entrees came out later on they got one of those wrong too. Ordered the carbonara and the gnocchi and they came out with a carbonara and a ravioli. I can understand mistakes happen but the resturant was not busy and the staff all seemed to not know what was going on. The carbonara was bland and the so was the gnocchi. Overall experience was not good, I feel like they have serious potential to be great but it was just a miss today.

Never ever again. Waiters nice but not caring really. Didn’t spot one meal (out of five) was not delivered yet added a service fee at 18% before tipping. Spaghetti meatballs tasted like from a can. Pizza not any better.

The food and vibes were incredible. Kelvin, our waiter, was unreal. If you ever pull up, hopefully he’s the one taking care of you. He served us incredibly well especially for a party of 13.

Absolutely horrible service. Everything took forever to show up. I understand they are busy but the workflow is all over the place. One of many examples, we ordered a burger 20 minutes after placing our food order for a friend showing up late. They brought out the burger but an empty fry basket. Honestly comical service. Highly encourage not coming here

The only cool thing about this place is the art and mural. Other than that horrible! This place is a mess, had to wait 30 mins for my reserved table and food came cold. There was this older woman dj that wasnt even djing, it was obviously a set playlist. As a professional dj you could tell she did not know what she was doing. So I suggest getting a professional cause music vibes really help the ambiance of the whole establishment. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t come again. They also said they’d offer shots for a good review lol

Have been here several times to check out Blue Quarter, the speakeasy in the back (go through the blue door if you havent heard of it!).Finally got a chance to try the food through a Crave deal that was 20% off. Been wanting to try the lamb shank for awhile and it did not disappoint. They have happy hour deals every day on different menu items, and an all day happy hour on Mondays. Try it!

I stumbled on to this incredible chill spot artsy rustic vibe creates the perfect vibe to sit and sip. The Burrata is divine! Ask for Eric

Erick from local 92 took such great care of us when we came here for our friends bday. we had bottomless mimosas and had the best time! 10/10 recommend local 92 for bottomless mimosas / brunch!

The pepperoni pizza 🍕 was so cheesy! Hot and delicious. The Fried Calamari was good too. Small but good.

Nice vibe, great HH (fries need some love but the artichoke compensated for that 300%), lovely staff! Cant wait for next time:)

K.C. was absolutely magnificent. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and he went out of his way to make me feel at home. New York City needs more bartenders like him.

Found this place on our way to another restaurant. The vibe pulled is in the door, the server, Erick was TOP and the food even better. We had lobster ravioli and the Mediterranean sampler for apps.

Very delicious food in a busy Mediterranean bar. We had some issues with the service, because we didn’t get a menu for half an hour and just ignored our questions about it.

I happened to walk by this place on my way back from the gym with my fiancé . There was a plate with really nice cocktails and margaritas outside that caught our eye, and we entered to quickly get a drink and continue on. We ended up staying and having a great time and great conversation with the really nice Argentinian bartender, his service alone gave us the best experience we’ve had from a bar in the whole year we have been living in New York!We didn’t try the food yet, but we definitely will be back to eat as well!Highly recommend!

I arrived here at 2:00pm on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered an appetizer around 2:10pm. That app was prosciutto and mozzarella but yet it took 30 minutes to get this.I ordered entrees around 2:25pm and the entrees never came because it took an hour! Before we had to leave.Two sandwiches shouldn’t take a hour to bring out. There was no apology, no going to check on the food, nothing. Then when we asked for the check to leave since there was no eta on the sandwiches we ordered, we were later told to “just leave” by one of the staff.Extremely unprofessional, rude and poor customer service.

Great atmosphere and exceptional waitstaff. The hummus was pretty good although a bit heavy on the olive oil. The cauliflower crown was really delicious. The tahini aioli was kind of like a sour cream taste… not sure why but the lemon aioli was spot on.

Obviously a poorly managed restaurant with too few and overworked waiters. We waited a very long time for our food, as did the other guests around us. Some of the silverware was missing and was only brought after repeated requests. My Margherita pizza could hardly be called a pizza. The dough was hard, it had been in the oven too long, and it had way too much cheese. Any frozen pizza at home tastes better! The waitress tried very hard and was very nice, but she couldnt hide the overall poor quality. Overall not recommendable.

Contender for best place for breakfast in the East Village. Try the Israeli Eggs Benedict with chickpea polenta, lamb, and latkes on the side. The shakshuka with eggs poached with red peppers in tomato sauce served with a small *loaf* of country bread is another good choice.Another time I shared two salads with a friend. Farmer and grain bowl were both excellent.Not the best iced tea - stick with coffee. Meatballs were o.k. - just get some more lamb eggs benedict.The space is fabulous in the summertime with outdoor seating, windows that open to the street and an airy space with fans and A/C. The artwork and decor is attractive and unique.Good for a date, but could definitely accommodate groups as well. Theres also bar seating. All seats in the place have a good view-they have a projector for showing sports matches when theres something important (e.g., World Cup).

I think it was the worst nightmare dinner I ever had in my life. The appetizer came after the main course, the waiter had to be reminded to bring my drink multiple times, the schnitzel was distasteful, I had to kill the roach climbing the wall. The place was almost empty on a Sat night so it was definitely not due to overcrowding.

DO NOT GO HERE!!I made a reservation at this restaurant for my birthday dinner and it was the worst dining experience Ive ever had in NYC. We were a party of 12 for outdoor dining and the table was so cramped that for anyone to use the bathroom, at least another 3 people had to get up. The drinks were very mediocre. A couple of my friends ordered frozen margaritas and the drinks werent frozen. We ordered several appetizers and everyone ordered something different for dinner. None of the dishes were good. Every dish was mediocre at best and terrible at worst. None of them were worth the price. When I went to pay, I noticed there was a $20 charge for using my credit card. This is an outrageous charge simply for using a CC, and I wasnt never warned by the server that there would be an extra charge at all. The only highlight was the free round of shots they gave us for it being my birthday.

**POSSIBLE RACISM ALERT** For the first time ever, I have to begin this review as such due to the treatment we received at this establishment. My friend arrived at 2 and ordered a burrata ahead of my arrival at 2:15. I then put in my order in for an espresso martini and 2 schnizel sandwiches. We saw food being served to other folks that came after us. After constantly follwing up about appetizer, it took 45 minutes until the server came with it and said it was “Baba Ganouch” which is not what was in her hand. We then asked about the sandwiches and the waitor kept saying it was coming. After an hour, I told the waitor we had engagements that we need to make it to and the other server said to me “JUST LEAVE” At that moment, we knew what was going on. I’m sure the food is probably good but this is no way you should treat any guest at your restaurant in NYC. They were unapologietic and and very ill mannered. We stepped outside to speak to the host who turned out to be the owners girlfriend and she offered the fakest apology. Time wasted, dignity tested and a poor start to our weekend. I rather them be direct and say they didnt want to serve us rather than having us wait like sitting ducks for sandwiches… Needless to say we will not return.

I sent back my ravioli because it was cold in the center. They microwaved it. Which ruined the texture of the cheese. The spaghetti is mid at best. Service was non existent.

I wandered in here during a trip into Manhattan and had the local92 burger with a few expertly crafted cocktails (big ups to my man Kareem who can mix a damn fine drink).Everything was delicious and was clearly made with care and quality ingredients.All the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was on point!The industrial chic deco was complimented by the wall murals and the paintings hung about the space.I had a great time and would definitely come back with friends or on a date.

Amazing place, where could I start from: lights, music, and the whole vibe were so spot on, we sat down the waitress Veronika pampered us all night, and the drinks were amazing, the bartender had excellent knowledge about what he does, Ill definitely recommend it

Fantastic place to go if you’re trying to lose weight or stop drinking!About an hour and a half after sitting down and ordering drinks and appetizers and entrees, you start to wonder… You’ve had around 4 glasses of water but nothing else. The bar is so close to your table and you know you could just hop behind and make a nice cocktail, or even jump in the kitchen and chef something up. It’s so close, but yet so far. And it’s nice because the staff doesn’t bring up the fact that you’ve been there for an hour and a half.So you leave. You’re perplexed and very hungry. But remember, you just avoided ingesting any calories! You’re on a difficult journey to weight loss, but this is the place to be on that journey.Don’t go to this place if you want to eat or drink, only if you, say, need a colonoscopy the next day or major anesthesia or any other procedure that requires you not eat or drink before.

Had espresso martinis, labneh, and babaghanouj - they were all great. The bartender was really good too. Would definitely recommend this place!

The service took a really long time. We had to wait almost 30 minutes to be seen by waiter and waited well over an hour for our food to come out. They said that the Wi-Fi or something was down and that’s why things were taking long, but there has to be a back up plan because I’m sure if this is not the first time that this has happened.The food was mediocre at best and they did not necessarily get the orders right but my friends and I were so hungry that we just ate it.Avoid this restaurant unless there’s something on the menu that you really really really want to try.

Cute place in Nolita. Great ambience with lovely selection of music. The server was just excellent. Very spontaneous in conversation. Coming to food ordered the Shakshuka with hot fresh loaf. It was outstanding. Compliments to the chef. Paired it with a couple of Martinis and that’s how the Sunday brunch was wrapped up. Coming back soon

So me and my husband stumbled across this restaurant while waiting for another one we like the menu and walked right in as they were opening on Valentine’s Day we took a shot and fell in love with local 92! the atmosphere, service, and the food was amazing so chill wide variety of wine 🍷 and big S/O to David who attended us he was so attentive and on point with everything we will be putting this restaurant on our list for date nights and hanging with friends. Music was also awesome. Only thing is no parking so beware on that.

First class amazing. So friendly and fast. Most delicious falafel burger Ive had in my life. And dont even get me started on the hot sauce. Damn! Such burny tasty flavour. Hands down my favourite restaurant in NYC if not the world. Oh and Francesco is the most amazing waitor ever. Really hope he serves you when you eat there.

This place was great , variety of different types of food from Mediterranean to Italian. The service was top tier our server kelvin was excellent, knew a lot about the menu and offered recommendation. I rate this place a 10/10, it’s in the heart of soho should definitely be checked out.

Really stinks this was the last meal of our week long stay in the city. Oh wait, it wasnt, because we had to go get another meal afterward for one of our party who couldnt even eat their food. Not only did they not serve the proper items, they made no apologies and barely spoke or acted like we existed. Their manners are lacking profusely. They need to read their menu and listen to their customers so they know what comes with each meal. We had at least three things on the menu not come with our meal and it was not described that the pita sandwich would be fried.We overheard them offer a table behind us free shots for a good review.Pretty atmosphere, good mixed salad. Thats the nicest thing I can say.

We arrived with a party of 8 for brunch, and were welcomed and seated. Orders were taken quickly, we had time for conversation before the food arrived, and everything looked fresh and delicious. Good menu options including for Vegans, and our group enjoyed it all. East village atmosphere right down to the original tin ceilings, and a sweet birthday party just next to us (20-somethings❤️).

Had dinner here and Jonathan was such a great waiter! Food was delicious and filling, rose recommendation was on point! Had a great night and really appreciated how great the service was! Music was really good too :)

Came here after work with a couple of friends and got a ton of stuff! The dips were amazing. Im a huge fan of dips and pita and these were absolutely delicious. Ive recently begun a pescatarian diet and the menu was full of options for me. The salmon and beet dish was such a good combo!Ill definitely be back.

First, holy crap was this place awesome! They had excellent appetizers, and the babaganoush was fantastic. Highly recommend the lamb dishes. It was surprisingly delicious given the reasonable price. Also, I highly recommend Miriams music selection. This playlist tonight was FIRE!!! Keep up the excellent eats folks!

The food is delicious and the restaurant design is really beautiful. However, the service truly needs major improvements. Our waiter seemed completely unorganized and uninterested in us. She was chatting with the other waiters while we were waiting to place an order. Then I think they forgot about us altogether? Because it literally took almost 50 minutes for the food to arrive. We had to flag her to get any update of what’s going on. By that time, there weren’t that many people in the restaurant anymore too, so it’s not like she was that busy. They’ve started closing while we were still waiting… She also told us she’s headed home and “someone else will take care of us”, but she was still there 45 minutes later lol. Overall a nice night ruined by a very bad experience. They really should think about training their waitstaff.

Food and vibe were good but checkout left a bad taste in my mouth. Our party of 5 was charged an automatic gratuity of 20% which we didn’t notice. Then when they brought the machine to sign it was defaulted to another 30%. We only realized after signing that we’d double tipped. Fortunately they were willing to correct it, but it felt very much like we were being tricked into overpaying. The included gratuity is also not mentioned on the menu, and our receipt showed party of 6 even though we were 5, so it felt like maybe the number was put in incorrectly to trigger the default tip.

Love this place!!!! The vibe is great and the food is even better. It’s such a fun space and great place to bring friends to. Not only is the food great, but the servers are always very attentive and give their best recommendations and really add to the experience. The last time I went, Zoey was amazing!!!! I hope to have her as my server again when I go next time. Overall the service is why I always find myself coming back here.

Perfect for a large group for a bachelorette we sat outside this afternoon! 20$ Mimosas from 10-4PM. We had 11 in our group and our reservation went super smoothly! Appreciate the service from Kelvin he was accommodating and patient with our large group.

Food was pretty exceptional during lunchtime. I was with some friends celebrating a birthday a couple weeks ago, the wait time wasn’t the best. And I’m not talking about getting a table but when we did finally get a table, they took a long while to take our order and we were all very much starving. From seating to getting our food it was an hour. They may have had a shortage of waiters that day, I’m not sure. Other than that, food was delicious.

The staff is killing this place. This was one of my favorite local places, have been easily 20 times over the last two years. Their front of house staff is legitimately horrendous. Was sat, waiting 15 minutes before a girl came to the table seemingly annoyed that we existed and said nothing and just poured nasty tap water from a dirty container into our glasses. After that we watched as four staffers joked, laughed and carried on five feet from us behind the bar and completely ignoring our table and other tables. A four top that had already ordered but had not gotten food walked out. After the 30 minutes mark, we had still not been asked for anything, no order taken, completely ignored. We got up and left. As we were walking out the same girl that poured our order was heard saying “there goes another one” and laughing. Some of the worst service and front of house staff I’ve ever encountered. I’ll never go back.

Completely disorganized service because of the management. We got seated immediately then had to wait 20 minutes before anyone came around to see if we wanted anything to drink, then another 20 before anyone checked in on us to order. When they finally started to deliver plates 30 minutes later, they were for a different table so we had to reconfirm that our order entered properly in the first place. Cue another 20 minute wait. Finally, the dishes were delivered to us, but all at different times. We’re around the 2 hour mark and waiting for the check, which we had to seek out in order to get delivered to our table. The bill is wrong! We explain this is ridiculous and that we want a discount or something to compensate the horrendous service. Waitress says owner no. We say we want to speak with the owner. Waitress tells us owner doesn’t want to speak to us, but he gives us a discount finally. We pay, and a bit over 2 hours after we enter we leave.Needless to say, would not recommend.

Super cute place with great food and a lovely atmosphere. Service was wonderful and the labneh in particular was delicious; the roasted garlic was a great touch. Also very affordable for NYC brunch!

The atmosphere was dead because it was totally empty at peak dinner time and we soon found out why. We waited over an hour for our appetizers (not even main course) and it never came out. Eventually we just had to leave and it turns out the waitress never placed our order. Don’t come here!

Place was okay. I understand that this is a difficult time for the restaurant industry, but a few items do need improvement. Sat down and was ignored by staff for 25 minutes. Seriously, I watched them come around and check on all other tables before I could put in a drink order. They seemed understaffed, but also not a ton of tables? Hummus and pita was okay. Neither tasted fresh. Had the kebab stuffed pita. The seasoning wasn’t my preference. Would not recommend or return.

Great Middle Eastern restaurant! All food that we ordered was delicious and tasty! From the outside it was okay but when you taste their food then you will change your mind!Location: It is located on second avenue, the interior is nice with a nice bar in the side. The outdoor seating is better, cause it is spacious and more safer and comfortable.Service: The servers are nice, they gave you good recommendations. A little bit busy as usual, but they try their best to accommodate! Also, they gave us free shots because we get along with the servers.Food: All that we ordered was delicious, small servings tho but the taste of the food was good! FALAFEL PLATTER: omg the hummus that comes with it are so good! Silky and perfect with the falafel and pita that comes with it. It is good for sharing or even by yourself! BURATTA: the cheese is soft and delicious. It comes with bacon or ham? Im not sure but it tastes good with the burrata. CALAMARI: we were sad when it came cause we thought it was fried but man it was so good, it was grilled and it taste like a ceviche. EGGPLANT SCHNITZEL: the fried eggplant is so good and not over fried so the softness of the eggplant was retained. FROZEN PASSION FRUIT DAQUIRI: omg it was so good and refreshing, but hits you at the end! LOLPrice rating: 8/10, it was not that bad for the price. The food was great.Will definitely come back here if I pass by second avenue and if I crave for good hummus and that passion fruit daiquiri! LOL

Lovely spot and friendly service. My husband ordered the Israeli eggs Benedict and thought it was delicious. My schnitzel sandwich was dry but fine otherwise. One improvement area is while the staff was friendly, the service was slow and disorganized. We thought it might be because it was NYE but seeing other reviews, this is probably an ongoing development area.

Brunch food was reasonably priced and decently tasty, but pretty dry and some pita was burnt. The cocktails are more expensive than the meals; my friends and I didnt think they were worth the price.

We had an amazing experience at Local 92 Soho! Originally only went in for drinks, but ended up staying for hours! The staff, especially Kelvin, was AMAZING and went above and beyond for us. Would 100% recommend!

This place is a mess! The service staff seem completely confused about how to work at a restaurant or what creates a pleasurable dining experience. They play very loud, very generic heavy beat club/bar music while people are attempting to eat and socialize with friends. I asked for the music to be lowered and it was but then was put back up. I was told the owner PREFERS loud music and that it would be impossible to lower it. Pretty horrible when you don’t know what business you run. There’s a reason your restaurant is empty on a Saturday night in SoHo! The environment for dinner should make the experience better. No one is coming to your mediocre restaurant for the beats. I suggest you rethink your priorities to save your business.

The food was good, but the waiters and the service are incompetent. I had to go inside to pay for the check after asking 2 times because they kept forgetting. And I asked 3 different waiters for a takeout box that I still didnt get 20 min later. Had to leave without the food I wanted to bring home.

Erick was a phenomenal server and the food was delicious especially the local farmer bowl and the lamb sliders!!! My 15 year old son enjoyed the the lamb sliders too.

Disapponted given the raving reviews.The service was good but the food was not well prepared. Our food seemed to be left out before serving because the fries were cold and my lox had sat on the hot food long enough it cooked. The poached eggs also had solid yolks, cooked too long. Food was underwhelming and a bit greasy.

Service took a little while during brunch but it was only 2 bar tenders and the manager was nice to give us a drink for free for the wait ! I will come back

The food was fine. The service was TERRIBLE, we waited 30 minutes for someone to even take our order, then we had to flag multiple waitstaff to ask about our food and ended up waiting even longer for the food. Once we had finally eaten, they brought out the wrong check. We complained to the waiter and asked to speak to the owner who we were informed was in the restaurant at the time. The owner refused to speak to us! I understand new restaurants take some time to adjust and the first few weeks may be rocky, but the service today was absolutely unacceptable and on top of that the owner refused to speak to us! Take your business elsewhere there are many many other “trendy” places in the neighborhood with better food and service.

Great Israeli restaurant! As an Israeli, Im hard to impress with mediterranean food in nyc, but there are a few good Israeli restaurants here. I just happen to hear about this one and it became an instant favorite of mine. The shakshuka was delicious and if you choose to add feta or eggplant it gets even better. The portions are very generous and the prices are fairly reasonable. Very recommended place!

Had an unexpectedly enjoyable evening here on a dinner date. Really comfortable atmosphere, friendly service, nice happy hour and very solid food.We got a couple cocktails off the happy hour menu and shared the mini shakshuka which was a single egg, nicely sized shareable app (came with a piece of pita as well). We then shared the Israeli platter and calamari. The platter came with pita bread, Israeli salad and 4 dips - plenty to go around. I couldnt necessarily tell if the dips were homemade or not, but that should be taken as a compliment since they were nice and refreshing. The pita bread itself was appropriately warm and poofy kind, so that did the job for me. The calamari was really, really good however (albeit a tad salty) and the chickpea salad it was on was delicious.There was no need for reservations that evening (Wednesday) and the service was as good as you could ask for. Victoria was a sweetheart and clearly put in the effort to make sure our experience was top notch - keep up the great work and thank you!

Hopefully they were just having an off night when we went. It’s a gorgeous place but the service was atrocious. Even the most basic things were mishandled. They ended up crediting us for a few drinks and apps but it wasn’t even communicated to us so it made the splitting of the bill wholly confusing. Will give is another chance bc the food was good and hope they come through.

This is a relaxed place with good service and friendly staff and good food! The farm chicken is amazing. Off course, the hummus is a default must, just pick one of them as they are all worth trying! I wish the service was a little faster but everything is made as per your order hence worth the wait; start munching on the pita and hummus and order the main course with the appetizers. They are also very kid friendly and my daughter wants to go back there every-time.

Fantastic place in the heart of Little Italy! Food was amazing, every dish was executed perfectly. Everything was very fresh, homemade and delicious. Good portions as well for the price.Highly recommend the Israeli meatballs, whether as an app or with some spaghetti.Spaghetti and meatballs - the spaghetti was perfectly al dente and the sauce was fresh and full of flavor.The burger was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. Even the fries were crispy fresh.The lamb kebobs were excellent, great flavor and a good balance with the yogurt sauce.My only critique was that the service was a tad slow for my liking, but all in all it didnt take away from my experience.Restaurant was clean and had a very interesting vibe.Overall definitely recommend!

Food needs to speak by itself, and it needs to speak even louder when every price in front of the guest is over $19. Sadly, food here doesn’t speak that price tag. Nothing really stood out as special and sauces were lacking of flavor.Lobster sauce in lob ravioli was really nice. The shakshouka was fresh and tomato-ey which is nice, but was hoping for a little more excitement (personal note… some might like this.) 3 tapas mezze was ok. Not great and overpriced.The paella was a letdown. At first my peeps and I thought couscous paella sounded like an odd idea but we decided to try it. It’s definitely an idea, not a great one tho. Interesting concept, but not humble, tasteful, simple and magnificent enough to call it paella.Props for the badass foh team and yogurt.I will come back for a vibe and to give the food another chance and hope to be surprised!

We found ourselves hungry for a late Saturday lunch while roaming around downtown. We were so fortunate to stop at Local 92, where we enjoyed two very fresh and tasty salads. My friend had the OCD Chopped Salad and I had the Farmer Bowl, which included delicious roasted Brussel sprouts, juicy beets and substantial avocado. All So Good! There its a lot of outdoor seating but we sat inside, the environment was airy and cool (on a very hot day), the music was a bit too loud and the bathroom was super dirty :( but I still recommend bc the food was amazing.

Yet, amidst the chaos, a beacon of warmth emerged in the form of my server – a well mannered, young soul from Argentina.As I delved into the culinary offerings, my palate encountered a disheartening symphony of mediocrity. Each spread boasted an overwhelming creaminess, while the chicken tagine, much to my dismay, exuded a sweetness rivaling Willy Wonkas confectionery realm. Alas, the flavors failed to evoke the nostalgic essence of tradition I had anticipated.The libations, regrettably, offered little respite, serving only as vessels for an unrelenting sugar rush. In conclusion, I implore you: spare yourself the disappointment. This establishment, despite its fleeting moments of hospitality, is best left unexplored. I recently held my daughters bridal shower here (3/25/17),and wanted to say that it was all wonderful. Shai and Zeva are excellent in helping with the menu and were so attentive the whole time we were there.The restaurant has a laid back vibe and the service is fantastic.The food choices and quality were fabulous! Such a perfect day!!! Everyone enjoyed it all.Highly recommended!!!! We will visit here again.

Eric was absolutely amazing he made our experience the best in New York. The bottomless mimosas were such a good deal!

A good spot to people watch in the East Village. The fried artichokes were so greasy they splashed and ruined my pants. The beef kabob was hamburger which was odd. The food is adequate, but nothing special. We could not detect any preserved lemon in the chicken dish, but it was tasty.

Tasty Mediterranean food. Good vibe, Live music , friendly staff and good quality for the price.

It was a huge pleasure working with the team at Local 92 (David, Marco, Lucas, Jasmine and all the other staff members!) and hosting my birthday at the venue. The team was super responsive and answered all my questions (and even jumping on a call with me on a Sunday night)! I loved how the space can be divided into both the main restaurant and the speakeasy (Blue Quarter) so I could have two different vibes and two different playlists going at my event (you can easily connect to the sound system with bluetooth). The entire team was such wonderful people and made all of my friends and me feel so welcomed and at home. We loved the exposed brick, vibe-y lights and fun art around the restaurant -- definitely many places to take some fun photos for the memories. Will have to come back here for more great food and definitely recommend to anyone else looking for a great space to host their events!!

Excellent food and excellent service, we came there in a very busy night and thank God we were lucky to get a table, i ordered the lamb tagin and my boyfriend got the special N.Y steak,bout was amazing,we started with the Spanish octopus and short rib sliders that i still remembered on the amazing flavor.Ill definitely coming back!!!

Food was fabulous, especially the lamb. But service could certainly be better. We rarely saw our server and waited over 20 minutes before finally flagging him down for the check. At the end we needed to split the check, and were asked to do that work ourselves. Felt unprofessional, and eventually got fed up and put it in one tab.

The food was amazing, usually i NEED syrup for french toast but it was so good it wasn’t necessary here. there was one guy doing everything by himself and he did an amazing job and was very bubbly and friendly. definitely want to come back every time i come to nyc!

My fiancé celebrated her 30th birthday here and it was such a blast!! The food was delicious, shareable, and appropriately priced. Veronika took care of us and she was the pinnacle of quality service! She made my fiancé feel so celebrated, and was a big reason why our experience at the restaurant was worthy of a 5 star review. Also, the bartender makes a hell of a drink. He made us two rounds of mixed shots that were unbelievable. Big fan of local 92!

Absolute worst service. A three-hour brunch, and I think they only were at our the table twice. Once to and dropped off the wrong food. Second time was to off the check, which they took to two different tables before they got ours.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Ordered delivery with girlfriend, and had a series of issues:1) they forgot drinks and pita chips. 2) the sautéed broccoli was broccoli dumped in butter. 3) my medium rare burger is Burnt to a crispWe werent as concerned with the broccoli, but when we called and asked for the drinks and pita chips, they told us that they didnt have any drinks....yes thats right, they didnt have drinks, even though I had already paid for these drinks that are on their seamless menu. Than they told us that they would send the delivery guy back, with the pita chips and the water, and after no one showed up for 40 minutes we called back and no one answered. After calling from a different phone, we got someone on the line and they hung up after we identified ourselves. This place is a pathetic excuse for a restaurant in an area where you can undoubtedly find a better option within no less than 2 storefronts down. If I were starving to death, and nowhere else in all of New York City was open, I would still never give another dime to this restaurant. Poor quality food+even worse service+no accountability = do not go here
