I came here to grab food. I was really interested in the R54 Burger, but it was very mediocre. I asked for it medium with no mushrooms; first time it came out it still had mushrooms, second time it came out the burger was totally well done, no pink at all. The flavors were all bland. The cheese, bacon, bun, fries, etc tasted like bland versions of those ingredients. We also got pepperoni flat bread which was much better in comparison. Overall wouldnt recommend for eating, especially for the price.
We usually go here for some quiet and adult atmosphere. Not this time; the place was full of boisterous groups getting out of the cold.
A bit pricey and drink was ok not the best Ive had....
This is a wonderful bar. Windows overlooking the street, yet very quiet. Large enough to host large groups, but manages to not get too loud. The bartender working knew how to make drinks to perfection. Definitely worth a stop even if youre a local not staying at the Warwick Hotel
We love this place. Upscale lounge inside the Warwick but positioned on the corner of 54 and 6. Staff is really nice, and it has great ambiance. The crowd is usually those staying at the hotel or area locals, no riff raff in here. They used to serve food, precovid, but no longer do.
We were staying at the Warwick so it was a convenient stop for a beverage. We came around 5 oclock on a Saturday. It was quiet and a perfect place to grab a beverage to start the evening. The bartender was friendly and made good drinks. I ordered the espresso martini.
Pretty good midtown spot to meet friends for a drink. Service is nice, drinks are reasonably priced for the neighborhood and the seating is comfortable, and not packed in like other places. I wish they’d bring back food.
Unfortunately, the cocktails have jumped to $25, too expensive compared to other locations in the area. Wont be going there again.
Good place to stay after dinner and a long walk around.
We absolutely loved this bar!!!The main reason was the barman, a 50-60 ish, from European ancestry. He was very nice to us, very patient and really, really friendly. Also a huge professional who prepared delicious cocktails and all sorts. If he is there, it is absolutely worth going!!
They say on website that they serve food, they do NOT. And the snacks that they did offer with the $ 6 ginger ale were stale. Maybe they were short staffed. But we didnt go back. Sad!
The food was reasonably priced for having an upscale bar feel. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. It was more so a small spot to rest our feet and re-energize. There was definitely ageism bias here towards us. We are two young people in our mid 20s to 30s and it took a server probably 30 minutes to take our drink order. We were dressed nice enough to be there, while there were retired couples wearing blue jeans being served instantly. They assumed we werent eating and never came back to us. We then had to flag someone down again to take our food order. The servers were pretentious and rude for the most part. They truly deserved no tip but of course we still left one.
We did not have a friendly waitress and waited more than one half an hour for a plain burger. Coffee at $6.00 cup! Definitely not worth it with no refills. Gives NYC a bad name.
Went here with friends to unwind after going out for my birthday dinner. Loved the cozy atmosphere as well as the prompt and attentive service. Gotta say one of my new favorite drinks is the Bombay Mule.
I gave it an extra star bc I liked the bartender but otherwise this place is as stale and boring as they get. As for the food, sliders were gross and unedible, lobster Mac and cheese was fine but calamari was good. Wouldnt return.
Good spot for a stiff drink. Great service, comfortable environment. A little pricey, but it is a historic hotel. You pay for the vibe, which is great if you want to relax.
The worst service ever! The tall male waiter was distracted, didn’t pay attention while we gave our order. We waited 25 minutes for our dinner, and it was the wrong order for my husband and my chicken was too dry to eat.
Hard to get anyones attention to get seated. Finally found a helpful waitress and she was great throughout our time there. Friendly and prompt service.
Very good selection of cocktails, really nice setting and very friendly staff. Did not check out the food options I only went there for some drinks, but was very pleased with the house cocktails and the quick and helpful service. The price of drinks is reasonable for NYC, as one would expect in such a popular area. Seats are very comfortable.
Just had a fun filled visit to NY, and stayed at the Warwick. Of course we visited Randolohs and really enjoyed the beverages and service. Choosing the Warwick was also a point of research as I recently completed a novel titled Split Decisions, and the characters were Warwick/Randolohs visitors.
Food was not good at all. Tasted like hotel food. Drinks were decent. Service was not great. There was only 2 other customers and could never find our waitress. We had to get up to get our own water from the bar. Would not eat here again. Maybe stop in for a drink.
Nice chill place to have a drink with friends. Very calm and relaxing.
Poor service. I really doubt if one male server is a racist. He was my server but never took off me and saw me by his nose. Feel disgusted by this attitude and I will never recommend this bar.
Great atmosphere. Comfortable lounging areas. Great food (only had appetizers) Very friendly staff.
A lovely, peaceful and gentle bar. Beautiful and polite staff.
Love to sit there, talk to friends, and eat and drink. Wish it would be open most of the day, not at 5 pm.
Its an oldie but goodie. Right on yur way from Diamond District to the posh area of NYC, Madison Avenue shopping. Tucked away inside a historical hotel. A lot of old money wealth can be found here, but of course that brings an older crowd (in case yu didnt get it the 1st time). The drinks, traditional martinis which is ALWAYS a plus! I say go ahead and dive in. At least for one. Please note: Great for people watching as well!
Service and choice of food was eh, not amazing but not bad. Would come again if I didnt really have anywhere else to go but wouldnt seek it out.
Stick to the featured cocktails. Wife had the lychee martini, I had a bourbon old-fashioned. Martini was good, old-fashioned was made with crushed ice making it thin and watery.
Very nice, attentive staff, good cocktails
Lovely staff and relaxed atmosphere. Well worth it.
Nice atmosphere and great service, and its relatively easy to hear the person across the table. They dont do food (need to go across to Murals for a meal) but they give a bowl of snack mix for the table, nice touch.
Service was horrible.
A must for cocktail hour, service was Amazing and the drinks were PERFECT.
If I had to give a review on atmosphere alone, I would give this place five stars. But I happen to be there during a conference, and the waiter seem to be absolutely overwhelmed. It was not his fault, I imagine it was just the number of people that showed up at one time ( however since our conference is an annual event and they must have it in their calendar for the past 20 years thats really not an excuse). It isnt wonderful place to sit and have a nice quiet conversation with people while you are sitting in midtown... The drinks are a little expensive but that is to be expected
So nice. Great staff and excellent service. Beautiful place.
Chill but elegant vibe. Great place to grab a drink.
Great place for late night drinks.
Staying at Warwick hotel and Randolph’s is the hotel bar.A really friendly bar with great ambience and comfort.I have stayed at the hotel for 5 days and have had 2 predimner drinks in the bar every night. Highly recommend.my brother joined me last night ( both over here from Melbourne Australia )and he loved it as well. The staff are fantastic.
Great spicy Bloody Marys
This place is trash, we ordered a glass of Veuve Cliquot champagne and they poured a glass of Ruffino Prosecco and brought it to us. After one sip we told them this isn’t champagne and they argued with us as if we don’t know? Also, they have a bottle of Hennessy XO that’s filled with Hennessy VSOP. My Dad ordered a drink and clearly knows it isn’t XO. This place is very sketchy please don’t come here.
Its a nice bar with an ok drinks menu. The problem is that its understaffed, only one server and one at the bar. Drinks were decent but not great. Amhiance was good, comfortable place to hang out for a while.
Convenient location, at the Warwick Hotel where we were staying, seeing it was 2° and windy outside!
Service and attention was enough to feel appropriate. Nice staff
Lovely warm and friendly. Staff
Well appointed interior, wood decor & leather chairs. Staff attentive, polite, & warm, especially the maître d. Menu selection was enticing. The burger was cooked as ordered, the flat bread was tasty w/ good heat, & the tomato soup w/ grilled cheese was delightfully satisfying. Also the cocktails were well made & delicious. A pleasant late night stop in Manhattan after theatre & a long tour of the Christmas Wonderland nearby.
Dined at the Randolph located in the Warwick Hotel. Had passed by several times. Menu caught my eye. Sophisticated and quiet. Great place to hold a casual meeting. Food is superb. Service exceptional. Have dined several times. Try the scallops and gnocchi. Absolutely delicious!
Incredible comfortable place. Wonderful for a conversation and a drink. Prices are a bit high, but not unusual for this part if Manhattan. Its worth it to get the ambiance and space to have a proper talk. I will meet people for a drink or two here in midtown as it is really ine of the better options if you do t want a bug crowd or to have to shout over music.
So I am staying at Warwick hotel, where this bar is located.I had a reservation for dinner time for the 31st across the city in some other restaurant and since I was worried about crossing town at this date I went downstairs 2 days before and talked to Lauren during the breakfast (she was at the restaurant that is located in front of this bar at this opportunity)I asked if we could make a reservation for dinner for the 31st at 7pm at Rudolph’s and explained the situation. She said that usually they don’t do reservation but wrote down my room number, name and said that since we were only 2 people she could arrange this for us.With that, I cancelled my reservation in my previous restaurant. On New Year’s Eve at 7pm we went downstairs to Randolphs. Guess what? Lauren was not there, no table, no reservations, no dinner at New Year’s Eve! Thanks a lot for this great experience and commitment to the client. 👍🏻
Nice spot, came here for lunch and had a decent burger and fries. Everything took a beat or two too long but if you came here for drinks mainly, youd be fine. It took 30 mins for food, 15 for the check after they took the plates which is cool if they were busy. Burger had too much char but was cooked well, just not too tasty. Expected to be a little better for the price and wait but not bad. Slightly better than a room service burger at about the same price. Would come back for drinks because its a chill place.
Great food, great service.. Beautiful restaurant.. Attached to the Warwick hotel.. Nice little bar and restaurant... Just a cozy little place to sit and enjoy a wonderful meal. Never disappointed, always stop here when in nyc
Great staff ... Great beers and lovely location
Good place, but service is not good at all.
Mellow spot. Not too loud. Good place for audible conversation. Nothing too exciting from the bar, but good burger.
Waited 10 minutes with my wife to be seated with numerous staff walking past and not acknowledging us. We were finally told, You can seat yourself. Grabbed some menus and sat down. Were asked if we wanted some drinks so we asked for some water which never came. We waited 10 minutes for no further service. Ended up leaving because the thought of paying a tip for the service we received disgusted us.
Favorite spot in Midtown. Part of the Historic Warwick Hotel. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and very relaxing atmosphere. Great for after work .
Very nice bar. Frank treated me like I was family from out of town. Enjoyed the wine and food!
At the Warwick Hotel. Frankee, Sammy, and Diana are the best bartenders ever. Weve met some fun people we will stay connected with as friends.
Entrance was little hard to find. Two glasses of juice cost $30 at the bar, but I guess that is NYC for you. Ambiance was nice though
Great atmosphere and wonderful cocktails
Its nice to come here have a drink next to the big windows and see people pass by. And thats what we did after strolling through 5th avenue the whole day. It was a nice little stop before dinner.I had a glass of Baileys & hubby had a scotch, both glasses were generous. The service was ok, not very fast nor very friendly, but nothing too bad.
My husband and I always look forward to a late afternoon lunch of French Onion soup and Bloody Mary’s when visiting NYC. After many years at Rudolph’s, yesterday’s visit is our last. The service is always lackluster (I have never seen more than one server for the whole room so we always blamed staffing not the server) but this time it (our waitress) was just plain awful. No greeting, slow to no return to our table and other than taking our order we really didn’t know whether or not she was there. Poor service and then worse, stuck in the cheese of my French Onion soup was a long, black hair that stuck out from the string of cheese at the top of the crock. Poor service, poor quality. Sad to leave this NYC few times a year tradition behind. 😢
We ended up cancelling our orders unfortunately. The server who brought our food had an attitude, he should not be in the hospitality business. It was our last day in New York. Thought we treat ourselves to something good, but unfortunately it was the other way around.Too bad. So unfortunate for us.
Staff is comprised of horror movie characters lol
Friendly responsive service atmosphere. Excellent wine.
Nice and worm.. nice cocktails🍹
Nice barNO food serving anymore
Convenient location, fish tacos were okay, service was okay; not a great value at the price
Old world charm, but can be a bit loud for business discussions
Service was non existent. Had to seat ourselves and wait forever for a server. Server was rude. My boyfriend ordered diet Pepsi and the server brought regular Pepsi. We decided to leave and go elsewhere.
Enjoyed a good night with colleagues. Nice atmosphere.
Great bar service and drinks.
Civilized patron and good service and knowledgeable bartender, staff.
Long wait for food, excellent venue
Best bartender in the world.
Never ģot served. Waited five minutes In the entrance lobby and the maitre de never even acknowledged us
Cold beer, friendly staff.
Nice atmosphere, cool bar.
Perfect place for late night drinks.
Terrible service. Waited 20min for a menu, saw them bring a burnt salmon to a diner who asked them to take it back. When I asked, she said they took forever w food and would have left if she had known. I took her advice and headed elsewhere.
Not bad but expensive
Nice place to relax and eat.
Great bar, great service, great location
Ask for Sam - Best in the business !
Wonderful lounge, good service
Great atmosphere and service
Great old New York feel
Excellent place to share
Typical hotel lounge.
Love this bar.
Old school cool
Fabulous
Relaxing, friendly staff
Nice
Attentive staff.
Between a restaurant and a cafe, not pretentious but with excellent food and good service. Position ten. Worth a break on a trip to Manhattan.
The food is tasty. Nice service. Affordable prices. Nothing crazy but positive
Its the bar at the Warwick Hotel. This is good and good for a glass of white wine, after a long day of walking and learning.
Warwick barBeautiful, freezingSluggish serviceExpensive and limited cardNever anything to snack onThere is better
Quesadillas, hamburgers, and schnitzel are really delicious~
I had dinner twice, great food and service with extremely friendly people. I loved!
The service and food were all a mess. I went to this place at the end of the year to avoid crowded restaurants, and although it was quiet, it was really uncomfortable and tasteless.
The tomato soup and desserts are great.
Very beautiful, classy...
Bitter the ball 😀
