Had the BEST Korean popcorn chicken here. Went to this little place on a whim based on Google reviews for lunch, and they did not disappoint! I got the bop + stew combo and it turned out to be a little more food than I expected. But hey, more GOOD food is better than less!

The place is on the 3rd floor of the building. The entry is a little hard to find. The space to wait for your table is also very limited. The round tables are a bit small (we were a party of 7). So you might not want to order everything all at once.Everything we ordered was really good. The Fried Brussel Sprouts and Pork Belly BBQ one of the best choices. TheTuna Tataki is not so good. The service was really good and our waiter was very kind (and patient). I think it is a good option to try something different.Be aware of limited beef options. If you are allergic to shellfish or pork, your options are limited as well.

Nice Korean restaurant in Korean town. Three is separate floor for BBQ vs non BBQ, which is great so we won’t come out with strong BBQ smell. The seafood pancake, seafood tofu soup, and bulgogi beef rice in hot stone bowl are delicious. The cold noodles are okay and not our favorite. The place serve hot house tea which is a plus. The Mojito with lime and mint is flavorful.

A medley of a hole in a wall and a full service restaurant. The place is almost hidden from street view. You have to go up a stair well to the 3rd floor. Great selection of options all round including a vegan section. The food tasted great. Not exactly cheap but on par with K-town standards.

The food tastes good. But the portion is really small. In the picture, it is the Cod Roe Cream Ramyun charged for $18.95. Its the size of my hand (the diameter of the plate is just slightly bigger than the length of an iPhone 13).If your spending expectations are $20~$30 like it says on the page, be advised that you might still be hungry when you walk out of here.

My son lives in Manhattan. We went to visit him. He took us to this restaurant for dinner. Like all other places in the city, it is small. The restaurant isnt in the first floor. We climbed up a few stairs to get to this level. Once we entered, we were immediately seated. Our server was very attentive. There were a few small tables by the windows. This nice dimly lit room had additional seating for larger parties toward the back. The decor was simple yet classy enough for a nice evening date with family or friends. As for the food, We only had two dishes that my son ordered and we shared. Considering the portions were somewhat on the smaller side, we were still happy with both dishes. They both were flavorful enough for this Mexican palate. They had our favorite bottles or imported beers. Considering the the steep price of the food in the menu, we would have liked for the portions to have been a little larger.

Its on the 3rd floor so to find it its above new wonjo and you have to take the stairs up. We went at happy hour and the menu is small. Its a casual atmosphere, and the noise is decently loud. The food here is so good and is a must try. Everything in the menu seems so interesting. Overall, its good Korean food with a modern twist. We ordered 3 dishes the Kimchi cream ramyon, cream popcorn chicken, and cheese bulgogi toppoki. The portion was small, but everything was so delicious. We asked for a side of rice to soak up all the sauce.

My friend and I chose this place at random to try something new. We wanted something Korean but with a bit of an American touch. And here comes Anytime Kitchen to the rescue, with promises of distinct Ko-American cuisine paired with premium Soju cocktails. Is this a place worthy of visiting anytime? In short, yes. The menu is extensive enough where anyone should be able to find something to their liking. The bar offerings share this same detail, having a large amount of Korean alcoholic beverages while also keeping a decent amount of American choices close by. Personally, I try to stay away from American themed food when Im visiting a restaurant of a different culture, and as such we started with the Hallasan 21 Soju. The waitress warned us that it was a bit stronger than your average Soju, and she was correct. It was still really smooth and enjoyable however. With that, we also ordered the Hot Wings and the Bulgogi Fries. I know, I said I like to stay away from American themed dishes, but my friend was in favor of these choices. Im glad we got them, as they were both great. I think the Bulgogi Fries were better than the wings overall. There just seemed to be something missing from the wings. The fries were very tasty however. For entrees, I got the Unagi Teriyaki (Eel BBQ) and my friend got the Veggie Japchae. The Unagi came in a bowl with a miniature fire underneath which I thought was really cool. It was cooked to perfection and full of very balanced flavors. I didnt have a speck of food left on my plate. My friend wasnt such a big fan of the Veggie Japchae and ended up not finishing it. I ended up eating it and was confused as to why she didnt eat it. I thought it was wonderful. Presentation was excellent as well, just as it was for the Unagi. The service here was fantastic. Even while a bit busy, we never had to wait for our waitress when we needed anything. She was very attentive and quick, while never being pushy with any recommendations. The restaurant itself was very clean and the ambiance was perfectly intimate, but not so much where you couldnt gather your friends for a celebration. Overall I think besides the Hot Wings and my friend not liking the Veggie Japchae, this place was absolutely fantastic. Its those two minor points that kept me from making this a 5 star review. I still recommend that anyone try this place. You wont be disappointed

The food and ambience here are simply put, incredible. this small but vivacious restaraurant in k-town is tucked away on the 3rd floor of a building. we went for dinner on a thursday night at around 8:30pm and it was loud and crowded (with the peak of noise and bustle at ~9pm), but we were still able to be seated immediately without a reservation.they have a large selection of sojus and other alcohol; we just went for the classic peach soon haris, which never disappoint. we ordered family-style and got the following dishes (** = especially recommend):- **super creamy tteokbokki: wow this tteokbokki dish was to die for, the flavors are immaculate and the cheesiness and creaminess of this sauce paired so well with the soft tteokbokki textures.- **bulgogi tteokbokki: this was a really satisfying, flavorful mix of chewy tteokbokki and asian sauce, with sesame seeds adding a wonderful nutty crunch. the bulgogi was cooked well and the dish includes a hearty mix of yummy stir-fried vegetables too!- **spicy pork tteokbokki: another incredible tteokbokki dish; the pork was not very spicy but very flavorful otherwise and grilled perfectly. vegetable garnishes added a fresh touch and crunchy texture.- **sweet and spicy chicken: the chicken in this dish is cooked absolutely perfectly— so juicy and tender, and the cheese mixed with the sauce was the absolute perfect sweet and savory combo with a tiny spicy kick.- smoked salmon carpaccio: one of our servers recommended this dish, and it didn’t disappoint: the salmon pieces were extremely well-marinated with great flavor and they just melt perfectly in your mouth.- bulgogi: bulgogi beef which was grilled and seasoned well, mixed with a generous amount of veggies. good dish and flavors all around, but compared to the other fabulous dishes, was a bit lackluster.- smoked pork belly teriyaki: this dish had great, strong teriyaki flavors and the pork belly was cooked so well.though all the dishes were amazing, we were most satisfied with all the tteokbokki dishes we ordered— such an incredible mix of textures and flavors with meats grilled to absolute perfection. the tteokbokki were interestingly shaped and super chewy and flavorful.depending on where you sit and at certain parts of the night, it can get extremely loud and hard to even hear yourself talking… nonetheless, i think back fondly on the vibes of the restaurant and night, and i’d love to come again soon!

Walk up to the third floor for this hidden gem in K-Town. The popcorn chicken was definitely a favorite for us all, super flavorful and crispy, topped with small rice crips. The sauce was slightly sweet and sticky, the perfect unique addition to the tender chicken itself. We also ordered the Bossam, which was quite tender. The tteobokki was also decent, and the fish ball soup is always great. The food was delicious. Crowd favorites were the chicken popcorn and the chicken & veggie gyoza. I personally liked the Pork Belly BBQ the most, the presentation is cool and bbq sauce is delicious. We had the cheese bulgogi Tteokbokki which I would not order again, the taste was fine but nothing amazing. The place in itself is decorated ok, nothing really special. Pros:+ fun food, different from standard korean food+ cute, clean space+ food came out quickly+ good for big groups (we were a party of 9)cons:- my reservation was at 7:30 and didn’t get seated until 8. the host kept saying “soon/almost/1-3 minutes” - not really an explanation or apology- the space was really hot. we asked if they could turn on the AC but they said it already was? it was right above us and we didn’t feel it- serving sizes are small for what you’re paying for ($23 for a small iron plate of chicken with hot sauce and cheese)- tuna wasn’t really good

We went here for lunch after having spotted it in our recommendations on maps. You have to know its there since you have to go up the stairs past another restaurant. The food was pretty good, but we had to wait almost half an hour while there werent much customers (or at least this is what we could see). There was a table with Korean workers eating next to us who got served the entire waiting time, so maybe they got their stuff first? Anyway it was decent, but I dont know what the experience would be during dinner. The cupbop was lovely though!

A must have is the popcorn chicken and okonomiyaki pancake!! Best place ever and their mango aloe makgeolli cocktail was so refreshing and light! Been here twice. Good food and atmosphere. Service was alright. Less busy on weekday nights, which I enjoy more than the weekend. I recommend the regular and cream popcorn chicken and Army Stew. The stew can feed 2 people and 3 with a side dish. Soup base was good, but can use a little less salt. The Jiajang Teokkbokki was good, but portion was small with mainly onions in the dish. I will say some of the dishes are overpriced. If you go during happy hour, theres discount on certain food/drink selection. Id def come here again.

Anytime Kitchen is a casual Korean spot located on a top floor in ktown, but it unfortunately didn’t live up to expectations. While the food was decent, the prices felt steep for the small portion sizes. The pork kalbi was tender and well-marinated. However, the truffle fries had 0 truffle flavor, and the cod roe cream tteokbokki tasted more like plain mozzarella with no hint of seafood. The popcorn chicken was also dry, which added to the disappointment.Given the high reviews, I was expecting a lot more. Maybe it was just an off afternoon, but for the price, I hoped for a better experience.

The waiter seats us and walks away.. we wait a good 10minutes and he doesnt even bother to come back to attempt to take our order. He then continues to walk from one end of the empty restaurant to the next completely ignoring us. So we grab everything and walked out & as we grabbed our things to leave, the waiter stood there with a smirk. I would not recommend coming here if you are BLACK! Food was solid, would come back if not for the cashier up front. While I would like to give the benefit of the doubt, it is not okay to take out your frustration on your customers. Did not greet us/acknowledge us upon walking in. When we ordered, he spoked very softly, and he was rude when we asked him to repeat. I asked if there was anywhere I could fill up my water bottle, he told me the bathroom has water. A simple no couldve sufficed.

Came here with a group of friends for some pre-karaoke tapas. The food and atmosphere here is great! Loved having the little mini pans to cook meat with while sharing some apps. All the food was excellent, but I really loved the tteokbokki and stew. I also really enjoyed the spicy dumplings, which were spicier than expected. The tuna was mouthwatering but it came in a hilariously small serving, which I thought was a little out of place for a non-pretentious restaurant like this. Cant complain too much as it still tasted great.Service was polite and fast, and the indoor vibes were pretty nice. They can likely do a bit better with the tables and chairs, but it is a small space overall. Minor complaints aside, I still highly recommend this place if you are in the area! You also get 10% off if you pay with cash so come prepared.

My wife and I stopped by this restaurant after walking around the city. We wanted to try something new and went into Koreatown on 32nd Street and found this restaurant on the third floor, and you really must look for it. It is right across from Citibank. This is not your ordinary Korean restaurant as it has a fusion with American cuisine providing a unique menu with dishes I have never eaten before, as shown on their website, which is precisely what you get.The atmosphere was comfortable, warm, and inviting. The group of people there was a diverse crowd and quite lively with each table engaged in conversation. The most remarkable observation I saw was the people at the tables were not attached to their cell phones and just engaged in conversation, which was a refreshing site to behold since most of the people there were young adults and middle age group. The staff, with only two people on the floor, were very attentive and able to accommodate all guest and questions while taking the order. Waiting time for the food and brought to the table promptly. Yeji, was the person who waited on us, and we could see she was either the manager or owner. The food was excellent and did not disappoint my palette, as there were dishes I had never eaten. I tried their version of the fried baby octopus, popcorn chicken, truffle pork dish over ramen noodles, and oyster fishcake soup (which was a lot). We ate quite a bit, but it was worth it. The drinks were reasonably priced and had a variety to satisfy most people .I will definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family if they are in the area and looking for a pleasant dining experience. Young and old would find this place a gem and a refreshing escape for good food and conversation. A final reminder that the access to the restaurant is only the stairway, and you need to step upwards to the third floor and did not see any accessible elevator for the physically challenged

This Korean kitchen was very delicious actually. The portions are good size, not small. I loved the Lychee cocktail with soju. We couldn’t find the place at first. You need to go up the stairs to the second or third floor (don’t remember) and it’s behind the closed door (without any signs on it). It’s a busy loud spot, make reservations. Mostly 20-30yo. If you are looking for a quick bite, their popcorn chicken is discounted during happy hour from $15 to $10.95 and with a spicy mayo, it pretty good.
