We found this place by accident. Just walking around and like most gems in New York you find it by mistake. The food was amazing. The service was incredible. John the bartender was awesome. The place has a really good vibe to it. None of the pretentious bar vibe you get in most new York restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place to go hang out and have a few drinks with outstanding food. It is only 2 blocks up to get to central park to walk off that food
Chicken curry was great. Service was quick and attentive. And the Christmas decorations were up and the place looked great!
Stumbled upon this place on my last day in NYC. I didn’t want to overpay for food knowing where I was in the city and I’m so glad I came here. From the moment I sat in the bar, tired from lugging my bags around, I was met with quick and kind service by an older gentleman working the bar. I wish I got his name. $5 mimosa got me for sure and the fish and chips are hands down the best I’ve ever had. I wish I had room for their wings because several people ordered them and they looked delicious. When I return to the city, I’ll be coming back here for sure. Also loved how there was Latin music playing in an Irish pub. Vibes were amazing.
Visited on a weekday about 3pm. Good service, atmosphere, and food! Happy hour afternoon prices. Beer was crisp and cold. Doors were open for fresh air. Alexis was a great server! Free wifi.
Meh… I came for the wings. I should have known they wouldn’t be up to par due to the low price (6 for $8). They were super small and mostly bread. I was disappointed. $21.50 for a Ceasar salad and 6 wings in Manhattan isn’t terrible I suppose. But I would have gladly paid more for a non breaded, nice sized wings. Best thing I had was the water. NY water is still the GOAT!
Went here after a long stroll in Central Park. I ordered the chicken sandwich and the chipotle sauce was very spicy! Very yum. the chicken in the quesadilla could’ve been more seasoned, but still pretty good. Gaelic burger was easily the best thing we ordered. The chicken Caesar salad wrap was okay.
Great spot!! We stopped for appetizers and drinks after Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade. Friendly staff, GREAT wings, and really good drinks!!
Service was indifferent and average. Chicken soup watery and lacking flavour. Burgers not bad. Two toilets, one not working, constant queues waiting to use.
We have been fortunate to make it to NYC a few times. The first time there we happened upon this place by accident. We have made sure that we return each time. It is crowded but that is the beauty of it. It is definitely up beat and there food is great. The prices are reasonable and it is so close to Central Park.
Stressed out visiting NY cityGo to this pub and get a great meal at a great priceWe called in had a beer and ordered the strip loin steak. I can say it was the best meal I’ve had in the USA in 2 months of travel including the Fairmont hotel groupValve for money is 100 %Maybe the owner good lighten up a little bit but having to put up with all walks of life would get to you 😂Love this pubWent 2 nights in a row and even the young bar female bar person remembered us that’s old school service5 star pub
Love everything about it, especially happy hours pitcher of sangria!! Will definitely recommend!!
Thoroughly pleasant experience. We shared the cheese board
Fantastic bar with cozy vibes & friendly bartenders. Drinks are reasonable prices for Midtown and they they have an awesome bar menu. Highly suggest getting the Buffalo Wings! Grab a seat at the bar & youll find it hard to leave this Midtown gem. 👏
Perfect Irish atmosphere. Enjoy your drinks
The mimosas and chicken club sandwich were delicious. Our server Alexa was kind, patient and attentive without being overwhelming. Definitely coming back.
Very nice pub, great waitress and food. Prices also are very good :)I recommend this place everyone.
My wife and one year old son went here the other day. I got the french onion soup which tasted different than normal but was still amazing. I also got the Taxi burger. It was cooked exellently but there was 2 eggs on it which was a little too much. My wife got the avacado and BLT which had plenty of bacon and avacado. The service was amazing and we loved tge experience.
You cannot visit NY without visiting this place. Love the way the bar is set up. Lots of different beers, great food.
Great atmosphere! Tasty drafts! And sumptuous snacks! All you can ask for from you local pub.
What a great place & what a great bartender. John is a wonderful & attentive host behind this legendary establishments bar. Fantastic food, service & crazy awesome libations. We had so much fun we’re already planning our next visit ! Highly Recommend !
Very nice pub, unlike Nialls on 52nd street. Friendly lady servicing. And they have Crabbies for good prices!!! Absolutely recommendable!
Found on a hot day walking back from Central Park. Got a pitcher of beer for $17 which went down a storm. Great value. Waitress were ok, but (Im going to be honest here) a little abrupt with us - not sure if it was because we were from out of town (British) because she was lovely as can be to other American customers. But this isnt an unusual thing to have happened to us on this trip 😶 But we loved the atmosphere of the place and the other patrons 🙂
Place was pretty packed Thursday night around 7pm. Honestly, wings are greattttttttttttt! I like to ask for the sauce on the side so I can enjoy these wings with different dipping sauces. They have a great selection of beers on tap (founders all day ipa is my favorite) and staff is very friendly and fast. I will come back again with some friends.
Ordered a pint of beer of the day (7$) and a burger with fries (15$). Later I had a guinness (10$). Food was somehow boring, there were no salad at the burger only at the side, and the onions were not fresh. For the price still ok. Anyway the vibe was good and the staff was friendly. Would recomend.
Small Irish pub but it did the job and staff were niceGuinness was solid
Located just a stones throw away from Central Park, P.J. Carney is a cozy and welcoming spot thats perfect for a casual night out. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the prime location, and the food is delicious.
Great place for a pint and a bite. Super pleasant servers.
Amazing, inexpensive finger food! The wings are especially good! There’s nearly always a free table and I’m thankful they keep the music down (best part). The Guinness is “ok” because they unfortunately rush the pour. But overall a great stop to make on the way home from work!
We came for my birthday and it exceeded my expectations!! The atmosphere was good, staff was great, the food was amazing! Highly recommend the Shepard pie, French onion soup and my hubs said the fish was the best hed had. We will definitely be returning next time were in town.
Nice pub thats close to Central Park, Columbus Circle & N\Q\R\W subway lines. Meaning peeps from UWS & Queens can easily get to and from if looking for a meeting spot thats convenient. Staff was very friendly and hospitable.
Decent fish and chips if you’re into that. The owner’s nice. Worth a visit if you’re nearby.
I and my wifw went there after walked through central park. The food is good and the have a lot of choice of beer. the guy at the bar was very friendly, he offered me a beer for a little delay with my orders. Recommended!!!
P.J. Carneys is a nice little pub right off 7th Avenue and Central Park South. The location of this establishment is fantastic, and my veggie and grilled chicken salad was fantastic. I would definitely recommend it here if youre looking for a nice pub atmosphere near Central Park.
Friendly bartenders, classic burger, great location, near Central Park, and lots of TVs. Classic Irish pub.
Amazing cheeseburger sliders - hit the spot after a long day of travel. Would recommend ordering at least 4. Nice chilled atmosphere. Amy was an exceptional host who seemed like she was taking care of everyone, she often checked in with us! Drop by!
We’re from Orlando and wanted a true Irish pub, New York experience. This was the place! We had a window seat and the views were really cool. Prices were decent and food was comparable. We’ll be back.
Atmosphere is outstanding is this pub. Really comfy and relaxing. Special for this bar is the centered bar in the middle of the room. Everything is designed around it, which let you focus on the important things while you are here ;)Food was delicious and especially the steak perfectly on point.
We had drinks only. The service is excellent.Cool place to relax and grab a beer. 🍺
I was in Midtown for work and wanted to try something beyond chains and NY pizza by the slice. This place was recommended with the best chicken wings so I had yo try it. Be prepared to get to know your neighbors as there isnt much space, but there is a TV viewable from anywhere. The wings did not disappoint. Sauce was above average, but the wings were cooked perfectly. Worth a look if youre tired of the usual haunts or chain restaurants
Great Long Island Ice Teas
Small but oh so handy. Expert service while you wait to go to a concert. Grab a stool and watch the sidewalk traffic. I saw a lot of food being served and it looked fantastic!
Maybe it was a bad day to order food due to a holiday but the fish and chips wasntvery good. The fish was extremely mushy and gave me a stomach ache right after. I ended up not eating the rest.
Great atmosphere, fantastic service, and delicious food at PJ Carneys Pub! The staff is always friendly and attentive, making sure your experience is top-notch. Whether youre looking for a casual drink or a hearty meal, this pub has it all. Highly recommend stopping by for a memorable night out
They blatantly overcharged me. Had to pay 5.25 but they chard me 11.25 on my card.
Actually made a reservation for the restaurant next door and didn’t even mean to come here but we decided to stay and i’m glad we did! the wings were delicious, definitely the best course from here. the sandwiches were also decent, not the most amazing ever but enjoyable. service was also very kind, it’s a nice atmosphere really no complaints!
I loveeeee how low-key this spot is. Its small but the wings and drinks is what I truly look forward too. I had bbq wings and the fries. They have happy hour and the music isnt that loud so that is always an additional bonus for me because I was able to hear the person I was with. I dont take everyone to that spot because its really one of those places you wouldnt believe is good until you get inside. No parking however its right by the train and central park is a block down from the place!** Those drinks are worth it**
Really good, quality food. A hidden gem we stumbled upon and we are so glad!
Hot day, cold beer. Pj Harney’s has a great vibe and the staff has great recommendations for NYC activities and dining! I will be back when I’m back in NYC.
Small and very good food and service!
Great food, very friendly atmosphere. Didnt feel like a stranger with the regulars. Visited two nights in a row
Definitely a cool local pub vibe place close to Central Park. The sweet potato fries were excellent.
Ive been coming here for years. Great for a pit stop or meal - regardless the Irish gals that work the bar are always warm and friendly. Cant go wrong.
It’s a pretty decent bar. The prices are reasonable for Manhattan and you can actually eat the food, which is more than you can say for several places.
Nice Irish Pub with a fun atmosphere.
Love to visit here when Im in town. This was my first bartending gig in the states . I loved it then and and and always enjoy the authentic vibe, food and service.
On tour in NYC !! Another busy day walking, going up the Rockefeller Center, Central Park and now this Irish pub which was close by. Not sure why its an Irish pub?? No real Irish theme. Its Saturday night, everyone is out including festive celebrations after a wedding close by. Busy and bustling we drank beer and ate good food, people watched and ended up walking through Times Square which was mad and crazy and very busy. Its easy to forget we are 3k miles from home. We are loving it....But the expensive drinks, the continued demand for tips and the surly service reminds us its not like London. It wont dampen our spirits though !!!
My husband and I discovered this place by accident on our way to the train after dinner almost 6 years ago. Was our first date! 😁 Staff were friendly and attentive, fast service, and chicken wings were amazing! We still go here regularly once or twice a month for happy hour, and its our go to place to hang out with friends, like today. They have been consistent in terms of atmosphere and quality of service, and I believe the chicken wings even gotten better! Casual, fun and friendly neighborhood bar. Love this place!
Great bar with a good happy hour and delicious french onion soup! Alex at the bar is friendly and will take care of you!
One of the most affordable places in Manhattan and the food is actually good. Avoid all the trendy stuff in Midtown and come here. Youll be surprised at how good the food is. My chili and my sandwich were both very good. The atmosphere is dive-y - but friendlier than youd think.
Nice place with good price wings. Come during happy hour.
The servers have been busy lately, but they get to you. The food is better than typical bar food, but you have to have appropriate expectations. REALLY GOOD for bar food, perhaps good for restaurant food. Atmosphere is typical of Irish Pub - but better.
Ordered two sandwiches, sliders, two beers, a spiked Arnold Palmer and a sprite. Saw the prices on the menu so when we got a $100 bill, i knew it was off. I see $54 for the food which only amounted to 45 from menu pricing. Server gave an extremely fake OH I’M SORRY I must have switched the two numbers. I’m really upset I didn’t catch her on the drink total until we left, charged us $37 for two beers which menu priced at $16 and the sprite and spiked Arnold Palmer. So the sprite and around Palmer are $21????? Why she was so fake, ripped us off completely and knew she did. Don’t come here if from out of town and trying to enjoy your day, will overcharge you if you don’t pay attention.
Actually 4.5...Had the grilled vegetable chicken salad. Excellent. My lady had the Cali Turkey Club. Very good. Not bad for NYC prices. Great locale right across from Central Park. Staff could have been friendlier. Will be back.
Had the nachos. For an Irish pub, they made it work.
We sat outside for our last drink in new york before going to the airport for home. The barmaid who served us was a little offish with us. We went to the bar for our drinks so she only had to poor them We took them to our table si she didnt really do anything for us to deserve a tip but we where going to give her on. So when we asked for the bill for 8 drinks it came to 126 dollars 20 of those were her tip that she had already actually put on the bill. It not a place I will visit next time in in new york. 4/10
Its your average bar. Nothing exceptional nor is it disappointing. Good spot for a quick drink or two but thats about it. Would I visit again? If Im in the area I would stop by. Although, I only had drinks and the patrons there seem to enjoy their food orders as well. Then again, its my opinion. I prefer cocktail bars were old fashions are done to the tee and delicious.
Great place for wings and a pint. The bar staff are down to earth friendly folks. Looking forward to my next visit.
Great bar to hangout with friends!!
Food here was incredibly delicious and calling the prices reasonable might be an understatement. Considering the location and the quality of the food, this may be one of the best deals in NYC. Lots of similar Irish pubs will charge way more than this place. Will definitely go back.
Love this place!! The shepherds pie is delicious, also the burger is a great choice. By night the place is happily crowded with great people and great ambience, an authentic Irish/American pub with great beer options. The staff is always friendly, fast and professional. One of my favorites in the area :)
Food was extremely subpar, service was almost non existent, prices for the food were outrageous, they refused to split the bill two ways without us giving them the exact dollar amount per person, couldn’t just tell them which items to put on which card??
Good Irish atmosphere, tasty 😋 food, affordable prices
The chicken nuggets is made of real chicken pieces. Happy hour drinks every day.
Perfect pub for a drink with friends. The snacks are quite tasty as well, we tried the nachos. The wait staff was quick and courteous and never let our glasses go empty. One thing, it isnt a large space, so unless you get a table you may feel crowded.
Recommend the dark and stormy drink with classic fish and chips. Great pub in the middle of the city!
If you go to New York City go here. Burgers, fries, great cocktails and great service!
It was a great experience! 💓 It was nice and cozy, especially in the rain. I had a burger with fries, they tasted heavenly! It was loud, yet as much as I hate loud noise, I found that it brought character to the place. 5 🌟s
Great fish n chips but the wings were all breading. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and service we received.
There is not much to say about this place. Standard Irish pub in upper Midtown. Beers are a bit pricy. Standard bar fare. Sandwiches are better than expected. 2 beers, app and 2 meals will be around 60.
I arrived here alittle after 11am. The bartender James was very helpful and eventhough I was too early for lunch the cosmopolitan was a good starter. I came back after my appointment and the wings, cheeseburger, and second cosmopolitan didnt disappoint
Ive been here several times both for meals and drinks. Everyone on the staff had always been friendly and the service is great no matter how busy they are. All of the food had been good. They have your basic pub fair, so dont look for something healthy of fancy. The prices are also reasonable, which is hard to find in this part of the city.
I paid 30 bucks for 2 Jameson and cokes. I live in Hells Kitchen and find much cheaper options in the area. Felt completely ripped off. Other Irish bars offer cheaper prices so try avoid.
Has become one of my favorite Irish Pubs in NYC Times Square to Central Park area. Best value for fish and chips I know, huge pieces. Decent beer list.
I remember taking someone on a date there a few months ago. Although the place is a bit busy, man the food is amazing. I forgot the name of the sandwich but it had steak and some cheese but wow, it was so amazing. (Order it medium rare btw) Anyways, the flavor just came to me with the first bite.
Great TAVERN, Excellent food and beer options (incl. vegan/vegetarian), fab location and exceptional service and vibe - Go!
Locals midtown spot. Horseshoe bar. Decent food, albeit all a bit too salty. Good drinks.
Surprisingly reasonable for the location with friendly prompt service. The house beer is pretty good and $21 pitcher is not a bad deal
Great atmosphere (especially after the Marathon) and a good selection of offerings for some quick fare. I recommend the pitchers of beer! House special is pretty good
Great bartenders and tasty whiskey sours in a fun sports bar atmosphere.
Been coming here for years. It is double the size from when I first visited in the 1980s. Great food and drinks. Exceptional service.
Waitress is useless. I was here with a party of 10. The waitress was waiting us with a couple of other tables. We wanted separate bills but she said it was too busy to take care of. She had a total of maybe 20 people to take care of. Bad customer service
Great place. Food was good! Drinks were even better!
Fantastic little place. The waitresses were friendly, the food was excellent, and the music was great. Wonderful atmosphere in this bar. Highly recommend for a bite to eat and some drinks if you are in the area!
Food is average. Staff can be more attentive. Food and drinks are overpriced for what they serve. Good for sports.
The food and atmosphere was brilliant. We were never left waiting with an empty pint and the staff were really welcoming. One of my best experiences on our trip to NYC!
I have been here several times over the years. The reason I like it is because its great place to drink and watch people watching one another. The whole place is seating around a bar which is in the middle of the square room. Sitting at the bar, youre across other people so looking at one another is inevitable.
Went in for a drink and something to eat, the place wasn’t that busy at the time, but sadly no one bothered to acknowledge us while staring literately in front of multiple service staff that came and went like we don’t exist. So after about 10 minutes just standing staring at the staff serving other but us, we decided to leave and go else where.
Reasonable price, a classic Pub with generous food.
Best BLT with avocado ever. The service was sterling.
Best buffalo wings I’ve ever had and I’ve tried a lot of wings
Great pub in Manhattan, but doesnt feel Manhattan (lacks the pretentiousness). Great pours, Smithwicks on tap, and a great Irish whiskey selection make this a great choice for someone wanting to catch a football match, or just unwind.
Service was good even though it was packed to the walls. We needed a quick late night bite after flying in and this really hit the spot.
They thought that I could drink 15 drinks in 6 hours and still query the bill. Basically because I had 7 pints of Guinness, they took advantage and added an extra 3 pints to my bill. When I asked about the bill, instead of talking to me, I got a huge emotional reaction. Which is a pretty sure sign that something is wrong. In the end I paid with zero tip, never to return.
It has a classic old New York charm that just feels like home every time no matter who I am with. A place with no pretentious hype... where you can just have a few drinks and be yourself... as Anthony Bourdain would say.
Best Fish n chips Ive found in NYC. The batter is thick, and the oil permeates gloriously through it, so it has a crispy, fried, layered texture on the outer part- reminiscent of of the crystallization in the caramel of creme brûlée. Delicious tartar sauce. The fish breeding reminds me of the tastes in a Krispy creme doughnut, without the sweetness. Good pub environment.
Phenomenal hole in the wall pub, had the burger and fries with Irish bacon and mushrooms.
A cute little pub, conveniently close to central park. Its a bit cramped inside, but thats part of the charm. Good selection of beers on tap, and the wings were good too.
Really nice place for a beer on the go. Friendly staff.
Had a very good burger. Chose to eat on the street. Not good idea. Subway is super noisy and the busses run by frequently so it was hard to hear.
Great midtown pub!
Great bar. Cozy. Nice bartenders. My kinda place.
Great pub food and service, friendly crowd numerous televisions for sporting activities, juck box with fabulous songs. A fantastic neighborhood place to meet nice people, eat good food have great drinks and an all around fun time.
Great Irish bar. Very friendly and genuine staff and good lively atmosphere. Plenty screens for sport too.
I used to go there in the late 80s, all through the 90s and up until 2004 until I came home to Ireland, I worked in Desmonds/Kennedys up on 57st, PJs is possibly the best bar in the neighborhood, friendly staff, good food served quite fast on even a busy day, one of the few bars I miss in New York.
Delicious Irish breakfast. So good. Fresh ingredients. Must visit for St. Patricks day and just any day really.
One of the last of the old school MYC saloons…….a must before Carnegie HallGreat people, great food , great vibe. Don’t miss it!
The ceiling was dripping on me and the beer wasnt that cold. Not great...
Great fish and chips, the homemade tartar sauce is phenomenal, I couldn’t get enough of it! The service here is also pretty attentive and quick.
Philimina was an excllent server/bartender. Fun conversations and great Fish and Chips. Best in Town. Thank you PJ-Cs.
A straightforward, laidback spot that’s a good choice for drinking a beer and small appetizers.
WHAT IS THE POINT OF GOOGLE MAPS IF IT ISNT ACCURATE?!!!!!! I am planning my travel around it and it’s so off that it’s completely worthless to use. Please edit and revise whatever system you’re using because all it causes is problems. I’d rather have you not mention a time if it’s not even close to being accurate. Would have ubered. I will jump over th w turn style at least 5 times to make up for this ridiculous experience of
We stuck with drinks on this visit. My friend loved her Cosmo!
Excellent fast service and well prepared diner classics. perfect for a quick lunch or cocktails before a show.
Best wings in the city. I have been coming here for 8 years and it’s never disappointed. Food is always top notch and service is always friendly.
Simply a Must to add to your pub crawl in New York city, Very friendly staff, and the best food bar none. We had the Steak sandwich, 3 layers of steak, cooked to your preference, melted cheese, and some sort of house sauce with a portion of Fries, Just Mouth watering and Full of taste, all washed down with an Ice Cold Miller Lite, Gorgeous. The pics you see were the next days lite bit sliders, a small snack not long after breakfast. So Treat yourself and visit PJCs for a great experience, Hey dont take my word for it, Go find out for yourself. Colin and Nicola, BELFAST.xx
Great food. Only one waitress so service was a little slow. But she was great and did a great job
Gggggrrrrreeeeaaaattttt!! Good service, amazing (strong) drinks, fun time. If you need to get blitzed before ice skating in the cold i highly recommned.
The burgers here are famously good and the way to go. Everything is a bit rushed otherwise.
Good for pumpkin beer after walk through CP.
What a great stop, friendly staff great food and snacks. Really a great place for a late night drink.
Fabulous pub! Amazing bar tender shout out to John. Must go place, plus open late! Hospitality 10/10
Great little bar. Excellent food and service.
I went to PJ Carneys before a show at Carnegie Hall. It was kind of dive bar with typical expensively priced drinks. I had a margarita and it was decent.
I was there on St. Patrick’s Day and had Fish and Chips. OMG, it did taste amazing, I ate my whole dish and even ate some of my boyfriends fish. 😂
Great drinks, food and meeting place to enjoy time with your company. Overall, its a lovely experience.
If you are going for drinks, YES. If you are going for food, NO. Im prefacing this with the fact that Im a vegetarian. There are not a lot of options unless you eat meat. The food was mediocre. The drinks were good. The service was very good.
A wonderful gem on 7th avenue
Amazing watering hole for a hot afternoon after a walk in Central Park. Great beers, laid back atmosphere, authentic NYC Irish pub.
This place overcharged my credit card, I have one amount on the bill but charge was little more. So, they charged other amount than it was on my bill.Be carefull with credit card.Avoid this place
Good Old Fashioned Irish Pub...Great Staff and the most reasonably priced Drinks weve had in NYC...Most Definitely worth a visit or 2 🍺🍺🍺🥃🥃🥃👍👍👍
Great vibe, polite staff
Friendly fellow customers and a competent and accommodating staff. Irish pub food at its best.
Enjoyed a delicious dinner on the patio. Food was quick, server was great!
Solid classic pub. Food is alright, and the beers are plentiful. Service is quick and nice.
Nastiest shepherds pie ive ever had, which i was later accompanied with projectile vomit. Never again, i cant say much about the rest of the menu but dont eat the shepherds pie.
Cute little bar. Service was good. Bathroom was heated. Creepy customer guy staring though.
Really cool Irish pub in the centr of NY.Good beer, ale, food.
Fried Brussel sprouts were an interesting idea but mushy inside... Not good execution. Otherwise, a pretty standard Irish pub.
Staff were friendly and food was good. Happy hour sangria was great.
Great service, well located and good beer.
I found the food just ok. Shepherds pie missing veggies. Not browned enough. Waitress was too knotch. We had a big group and they did fit us in. Which was appreciated
Went there twice in one day because it was so great! Service is awesome, beer and food was great too!
Love getting a beer after hiking the park. Cozy, sports on, bartenders are great. Reliable fun place.
Heres the deal with PJ Carney’s Pub - it is small and cozy and super friendly and it has nice pub food and good beer and drinks and tons of regulars. Id argue THE WINGS (shown in picture) with sauce on side are worth the visit alone. When you need a beer or just a place to space out or get a decent fish and chips PJs is the place. Also soccer on the TVs awwww yeah. Zero strikes against this place. Its not fine dining but its perfect at what it is.
Fun, friendly relaxing atmosphere. Good food, had a burger and beer and they were good
The aesthetic and vibe of this place is fantastic. Best experience Ive ever had in a NYC bar
Good food + good service + good prices = great find in NYC !Kudos to the waitress for running out on the street to return wifes phone !
Great location right by the N R trains. Nice decor with a city pub vibe. But kinda pricey even for that area.
It was an outstanding find as we walked up from Battery Park to the Financial District. Huge portions great atmosphere!
Great staff. Small pub, louder like a college place. Limited beer selection.
Excellent place. Bartender is awesome. Very friendly environment standard Irish bar
Friendly staff people. Great food and had bourbon
Long day of walking the city and needed something to wet our whistle. Miller High Life on draft. Hit the spot. Nice staff.
Great service! Small place with Excellent service, good food, nice atmosphere and great drinks!
Better than average food and in ample quantities. Lots of alcoholic drink choices.
The worst service I seem in my life , rude waitress 0 dont leave a tip for her , advice look for somewhere else
Its not bad here, the chicken wings were good but on the salty side. Otherwise, no other complaints.
Always a good stop for a late night beer and wings - tho the kitchen has been closing earlier lately.
The server was great, the food was blah, was too crowded and the table wasnt cleaned. That sums it up.
We stopped here only for drinks while we mulled over where to have dinner. It seems to be a neighborhood place around happy hour on a Monday.
We absolutely LOVED this place and frequently went while we were in New York. Such A Fun Place with outstanding Bar Service
Avoid this pub! Awful burgers and really rude waitress.. We had such a terrible experience here
Good selection of beer. Music was very loud. Great staff.
Food and drinks aren’t great! Excellent happy hour as well
Its great if youre looking for an Irish pub!
A nice pub with delicious food. Serving staff are amazing and seem happy to help.
Great staff/value. Watched the Blue Jays beat the Yankees. It was sweet.
Friendly service. Kind of small inside, but theres also outside seating.
Amazing place and good food, staff is super nice and willing to help you, totally recommend it!
Cool par in midtown, totally unexpected but pleasant find on a hot summer night in New York
Service was good and the menu was pretty decent for a late nite spot. Small venue but not crowded.
Good food good service. Have pumpkin bear with cinnamon sugar around cup top!
Meh... nice interior, but bit a great beer menu and only one waiter was working on a thursday evening.
P.J. Carneys left a lasting impression on me! The cheeseburger and fries were simply delicious, and the experience was elevated by the exceptional service from Blanca. Her attentiveness and warmth made the meal even more enjoyable. A big thumbs up to P.J. Carneys and their amazing staff!
Good cheap food and drink with friendly staff. Food does not take long to make so that is also a plus
Delicious fish and chips, fantastic service, cider on tap - everything you could ask for.
Good place to get a beer during Happy hour, decent bar food.
Cool place really close to the Central Park
Good spot in the middle of nowhere, service is not that good sometimes. Happy hour is great.
Amazing little hole in the wall pub. Great wait staff with great suggestions on what to do in the city!
Good vibes. Our waitress Geraldine was super friendly and awesome!!
Good pub food, drinks not super expensive. Definitely a restaurant industry hangout
Amazing independent Irish bar vibes and DELICIOUS sandwiches. Seated super fast too, despite being packed. Drinks are great, but expensive, so just be aware!
Great food. The food is very decently priced for the area. Highly recommend.
Small but very cool pub. Friendly staff and great happy hour
Great food, burger held me over easily for 10+ miles
Did not try the food. The drinks and the bar tender were great. Its all about the location location location.Great prices drinks for being in Manhattan!
Classic Irish pub. Not too big, good drinks, good music and a cheerful staff
This is a great pub where locals hang out. Good pub fare and the drinks were reasonably priced. Nice staff.
