FiDi was so awesome! As a personal thank you for their hard work through the audit I invited members of my team to FiDi location. Recognizing my team were non-golfers the staff found a cool game that made the event memorable. Everyone enjoyed themselves. When it’s open, it’s a lot of fun and great. But be careful, at the FiDi location they routinely (it’s happened now to me over 3 times in the last 12mo) don’t honor the times they say they’ll be open in the morning. Even with a reservation booked, they’ve not been open, and been unable to explain why or do anything about it.

This isn’t for me. I don’t like to be reminded that we could be in a simulation. That’s all I thought about when I was playing simulated golf here. If everything is a simulation, this simulation must be a whole lot better than whatever reality the organisms are living in that created this simulation. Why would they need to create a simulation if their reality was so great? Maybe real and simulated consciousnesses always think it can be better, that’s why people are buying Mark’s VR goggles. I don’t know how many simulations I’m off from reality, maybe this is the first one. That being said, I’m not ready for golf to be simulated. There is nothing wrong with real golf…or what feels like real golf.

Whenever I go it’s usually 7 out 10 times the simulators are calibrated facing the wrong way. Usually takes 10+ minutes to fix so have the time it uses a lot of your hour if you go on lunch breakGreat customer service all around. Got a personal call from TJ and definitely made it right. Something you don’t see everywhere is good customer service

Great time! We are total novices but really enjoyed playing on the simulators. The staff (TJ) was great with my kids and gave helpful advice.

Sports restaurant try Golf Soccer penalty kick or poker. Place is fun , Advanced reservation is recommended. Fun for a group with 5+

Ive been taking lessons with Nicolette, and I cant say enough great things about her! As a beginner golfer—having only picked up a club a couple of times before our first session—she has been amazing. Golf has so many elements to learn, but Nicolette is incredibly patient and thorough in her teaching.During our lessons, she’s always attentive and gives great feedback. I really appreciate how responsive she is when I send her videos of my practice. She quickly identifies what I need to work on and provides clear, easy-to-follow tips. I’m genuinely excited for my future lessons with her!

Love, love, LOVE! Great service, awesome atmosphere, SO much FUN! Alex was the coolest & gave impeccable service. Oh… and the drinks!!! Will definitely be dragging all my mates here. Highly recommend

Was a bit disappointed by this location as compared to flatiron, which I’d recommend over this location.. Seemed like the staff was very hard to find and the bartender disappeared for the last hour and a half only and when I flagged down another staff member in passing that last call was 30 minutes prior. At flatiron they were a bit more service oriented, would have been nice if someone had told us it was last call/actually made an effort to see if there was anything else we wanted since we were pretty far away from the bar area. Just felt kind of lazy. Simulators and facilities are great though!

Lots of space, very welcoming staff, and comfortable to practice and hang out. Simulator technology is superb. Anna was very helpful to get me started and patiently explained everything.

I had a great lesson with Ben and would recommend. I’m a new golfer with about a summers worth of experience. I was struggling with my swing and Ben gave me a couple simple corrections to work on that I could pretty quickly notice a difference from.Unlike previous instructors I’ve had I actually was able to understand what he was having me do and use it, as opposed to getting confused by angles.Would do again.

The GM who was hosting, bartending, waiting tables and setting people up with bays AND troubleshooting the iPads AND working solo all afternoon deserves a raise or a cut of the franchise. Great service and everyone was so nice. Will bring my corporate events here based on my experience on 8/27

A very cool place and fun experience. We took a lesson here and the coaching was really helpful. They had great pointers, and the combination of the video replays and simulator metrics helped make the instruction even more effective. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for an accessible, convenient place for practice in the city.

Membership at the FiDi location has been a major upgrade to my morning routine. The facility is everything I need it to be—I can grind on my game before work with the added convenience of showers on site. Management/staff at this location has also been very helpful in getting me set up and responding to any questions/concerns that I’ve had.

Five Iron Fidi has become my second home. The entire staff here are incredible and provide excellent service. Lili, TJ, JT, Anthony, Anna, among others, ensure you always have a great experience. I’ve grown from a novice golfer to an experienced player here. The staff create an atmosphere to make golf both accesible and enjoyable for everyone.

Tyrone and Vanessa are the best! Hosted an event here for our marketing firm and these two are the most welcoming hosts, give these two a raise!!! I don’t normally post reviews but this one was worth my time… birthday parties, work events, or just a casual night with indecisive friends. Take them here. Trust me. Don’t ask questions just go.

I ordered food and it came 2 hours late I do not recommend

We visited for the first time a few days ago and received excellent customer service and accommodations. The manager Tyrone took amazing care of us and we will for sure be visiting again the next time we’re in NY!

Great first visit. Nice facilities and the crew here got me set up, showed me the ropes, and were generally just really pleasant and helpful.

Staff is super friendly... Nick and Sean are absolute GEMS. Came with some friends and the staff was super attentive and helpful with everything. As someone who doesnt really know how to work a simulator, they made the experience super painless. Will be coming back soon!

Ben was amazing. He quickly pointed out the issues with my swing without over adjusting it. Those are the subtle adjustments that make a huge difference to the game. Thanks Ben!!!

Great staff and a fun location to find tune your game or just get started!

I was playing with a lefty golfer and they downgraded us to E6 software, which was absolutely terrible. After wasting an hour of time finally the girl moved the track man and it worked but the lack of support for the first hour for $150 is unacceptable: they should have accommodated us much earlier, knowing the software was awful.

Been playing loads better since getting lessons from Liz B here on the Trackman. Liz is not only the best swing coach Ive worked with, she is one of the best coaches Ive had across any discipline

Started the night with my friends bachelor party over here and had a great time! The environment was fun, good food and drinks, and the staff was amazing and very well accommodating.

I had heard a bunch about Five Iron Golf and their original Flatiron location from a few friends, so I was excited to hear that another location was opening closer to where I live/work in Financial District.The facility itself is top notch - there around 10 hitting bays that are individually extremely spacious and the whole place has a very fun vibe to it. They just got their full bar and kitchen up and running, so that certainly is a bonus when going with a group of friends to hang out and relax. The simulators are top of the line, whether its just going to the virtual range to work on the game or playing a simulator round at one of the many courses they have available. The staff is always friendly and accommodating - highly recommend checking out this place if youre looking for an indoor place in NYC to hit balls!

This place is amazing! Best spot to host a large event, or to hangout with your friends for a fun but casual night out. The team is so incredibly kind, attentive, and high-energy. We hosted a 75-person event there and it was a total success! Can’t wait for our next one.

The evaluation with Nicolette was a great experience. Helped me tweak a few things to hit the ball a lot more consistent. She also has a great eye, she could tell how the ball contact was before I could even process it myself.

Leagues start every 8-12 weeks and are a fun competition. We joined with 6 players (4 play per week) and are competing in our second season. Closest to the pin on the first par 3 each week gets a prize (usually a pitcher).

Aida was great, excited to work with her again the future!

Five Iron in general is awesome, but I really like this location. TJ and Anna are the best and keep everything running super well while also making you feel very welcome.This one doesnt have quite as fancy tech as some of the others, for instance its missing the cameras for the club face and the fullswing bays are sometimes wonky. But its well kept and the atmosphere is great, Ill definitely continue to come here

Went to Five Iron Golf Fidi for the Super Bowl special — unlimited chip & dip (big fan of the queso!) and a good selection of beer/drinks. JT was the highlight of the night. Very attentive, personable, and lively. Him and Jose set up and presented the birthday cake we brought. It was overall a great experience and I think I’ll only come back when JT is working :)

Ive been doing lessons with Sr. Golf pro Liz Breed and I cannot even put into words what shes done for my golf game. Through simple tangible instruction weve worked together to build a swing I truly feel ownership of. Plenty of instructors focus and fix aesthetics, all Liz cares about is helping me build a swing that gets the ball in the hole. She is relentlessly available after a round to offer support when I text a score or answer a random question about a random swing thought keeping me up at night. Her passion for making the game inclusive and accessible for everyone is truly moving the game forward, and shes a vital asset to the 5iron community!

Thanks to Lili and the team at FiDi for a wonderful golf practice! I went on a Sunday evening at 8pm, and FiDi was pleasantly bustling. The simulator was set up for me, the air-conditioning was just right, and food and drinks were available. I am considering becoming a member, as I have visited this location 3 or 4 times and have felt at home each time.

Horrible service. When we came in I was asked a golf related question, I didn’t know the answer too, which clearly showed I was new and never did this before. The employee even asked if I’ve been there before and I said no. They then set up the SIM and only explain how to select the courses then walked away with no further explanation or demonstration. Before they walked away we asked about food and they just pointed to the IPad in the corner and said to order there. When I went to the iPad it wasn’t even on. This was not a good experience at all. I do give them credit for fixing my reservation time from an hour to 30 minutes, thankfully so, because I wouldn’t have enjoyed a full hour when I barely enjoyed the 30 minutes. 0/10

Liz Breed is hands down the best golf instructor I could have asked for! Her teaching style is incredibly effective, making the learning process both enjoyable and understandable. With Lizs guidance, Ive gone from knowing nothing about golf to building a solid foundation. If youre looking for an exceptional instructor, Liz is the one to go to!

I hosted a corporate team builder event at Five Iron and I must sat it was the most seamless experience. Ashley (Event Director) made the entire experience so simple from booking our time, deciding on the menu, and being present during the event. With a team of 35 managers Five Iron offered something for everyone. A few played golf, while other enjoyed the games available on the screens. The beverage program was great we loved the cocktails. The food was a hit as well. You must try the bang bang shrimp. Cant wait to go back!!!!

It would be great if you could specify if you want a track man or the regular simulator. I never know what I’m going to get and I prefer the track man.

Bad Experience.1. The camera for simulation wasn’t working so we could only tee from the middle of the box, by placing a random box, instead of the attached tee on the ground.2. Because of it, the driver would hit the wall behind us and wouldn’t allow for a full swing.3. The monitor constantly kept going to sleep mode and we had to wake it up, and the software had to be updated which took 15-20 mins, out of the 60 mins reservation (money wasted just sitting on the couch).4. One employee who was helping was frustrated setting it up, another employee came and was helpful.5. After session, when asked about the time wasted updating software, one employee acknowledged but wasn’t helpful. Front desk helped by providing a discount because of the circumstances.6. Overall, bad experience.

Amazing staff and location. Needs to be a way to know you’re booking trackman. For the more serious golfer, it is not worth your time or money to use Full Swing simulator.

Great service and chill place to watch tournaments.

Five Iron is absolutely the best place in NYC to unwind to relax on your own, enjoy time with friends, entertain for business and even a date night. The staff is very friendly which creates a relaxing + inviting vibe. The manager Sean is an A+ individual and makes you instantly feel a part of the Five Iron fraternity. If you need a lesson absolutely use Dan McCracken, he completely changed my golf game for the better. As you can tell, I highly recommend Five Iron.

Not an activity for tall people. The staff is great and it’s a fun idea, but at 6’4” the club was hitting ceiling and coming a foot out of the bay. The ceilings need to raise at least another 1.5”.

I hosted a Surprise 30th for my bf at the Five Iron Golf location in FiDi and it was the absolute perfect venue. We had about 60 people and every single guest was blown away by the simulators, the service, the venue, and food. I worked with Sam V in the planning process and he was extremely communicative and easy to work with. Onsite, I worked with Carol who really took the reigns and ensured all guests were taken care of as well as handling the F&B / desserts. Thank you both for creating an AWESOME experience for all of us. We truly had a great time and wouldnt have changed a thing! THANK YOU!!!

The Herald Sq location is probably 10x better

Im a member who goes a few times a week, and I couldnt be happier with the setup and staff. Comfortable couches with tables for each simulator, a full bar, and a very attentive staff serving drinks and food where youre sitting.

Thank God for this place. If you love golf, you love Five Iron. Staff is awesome. Full bar!!!!
