This place is a HOLE IN ONE for ambience, staff, golf simulators, food and drinks! I’ve been enjoying my membership here and love coming in with my friends. Kieran is an ACE golf teacher and host who’s got jokes - ask him! Atilla was very informative showing me how to navigate the simulator and telling me about the tasty burger on the green! Whether you’re going hans solo, with friends, or planning a party, Five Iron UES is a must try!

Fantastic way to spend a few hours. Full bar, plenty of stalls and state of the art equipment. The “caddies” were very friendly and helpful. Will be back with a larger group.

Upon getting into golf with in the last year I tried various locations through out the city. After meeting Brandon at UES I was sold on making this my favorite five iron location. He is kind, attentive, helpful and very approachable.This 5i Location is one of the best in the city by far! The staff is helpful, attentive, and very approachable. I go here all the time and couldnt recommend it enough.

Great place to hang out with friends or by yourself. Really chill place to learn how to play golf, helpful staff to give tips on your swing, and the menu is impressive. The showers and amenities are fabulous with great products that are available if you are a serious golfer. The managers, and Kieran are really great communicators; very helpful to make it a great experience.

It was a fantastic experience for my dad and me! We went from 1 to 2:30 at the location on 94th and 3rd. The staff was very friendly and did a great job accommodating my dad since it was his first time ever golfing! We will be back again!

My boyfriend and I came for date night and weve never Golfed a day in our lives and this night humbled us quick. Safe to say, were never going real golfing, but this was a fun activity to learn and do something different.You can order drinks and food at your lane and move at your own pace. You can play different challenges and courses. We had a lot of fun. After our game, we hung out at the bar and kept drinking and mingling with the bartender. Hes such a sweetheart, unfortunately I forgot his name, but definitely check this place out! Try something new for a date night or night out in general.

Great place to play indoor golf. Nothing better than 27 holes before work. Both guys working there this morning were great. Ben is great and so is Mike. Really all the staff are helpful and on it.

Found a deal on a 3 month membership so decided to check it out. The facility is great, nice and cool, very appreciated on hot summer days. The sims all work great, Ive never encountered an issue. The staff is amazing, everyone is very friendly, and they always are around to help out if you need it. Love this place, definitely recommend checking it out if you like golf

Did a lesson with Brian today at 5i - first time here and it was great. He does a fantastic job of breaking things down and was very thoughtful about achieving what I had wanted to focus on. Made a lot of strides in a short time and would highly recommend.

Took a lesson with John and he was awesome! I’m a beginner and he was immediately able to identify how to improve my swing and gave me drills to help get the movements down. There was a noticeable improvement in the one hour I worked with him. Will definitely be back!

5 Iron never disappoints. To start, the staff at this location is amazing. They are always so friendly and want to make sure you have a good time. I had one of the staff members help me with my drive once and helped me get an extra couple yards! The facilities are also always in excellent condition. The bays are clean and always well stocked with clubs and balls. They also have great deals on off days and hours. If you’re looking for a fun way to kill a couple hours I highly recommend!

Brandon was an excellent host to my girlfriend and I both, great service and awesome conversation. The food was great and the drinks even better, cant wait to come back! Perfect place for a date or a night out with your friends, cheap prices and so much fun!

Im not the person that screams discrimination at every instance of bad customer service but this was definitely the case here. We came on Wednesday night for free ladies night. We came 10 minutes early for our reservation and was told that we would be next up. While waiting ,we were in the middle of ordering drinks when a different group of women came in and was given drinks and a booth before us. When asked why, they said their reservation was at 930...the same time as ours. After more questions since we got there before them, we got no answers. Finally someone came up and took us to a section and apologized. We then realized that the section was broken and had to be restarted multiple times. We then decided to leave.

It was our first time and we will definitely be coming back. The staff were great!

Ben and his guys are absolutely phenomenal when it comes to helping and assisting with any and all queries - big and small. Highly recommend checking and joining if golf is your calling!

I took an awesome lesson with John Gorman at this location. He had a ton of knowledge, and really listened to my input and what I wanted to achieve. Id definitely recommend a lesson with him to get ready for the season!

Had the best time at Five Iron UES. I don’t have much golf experience, but Brian gave me some tips that majorly improved my swing pretty quickly. The star of the show was Will, who was so welcoming, kind, and thoughtful and truly put in his all to make sure we had a great time. I was so impressed by him and I can’t wait to visit again.

Five Iron UES might be the best place in New York! The simulators are so cool and the food and drinks were great! Will was so friendly and attentive and he single handily put the experience over the top. Brian was an amazing coach and got the golf newbies of our group swinging well and having fun! I cant wait to go back!

Had a great lesson with John Gorman. He is extremely knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed a few tweaks for me to make to my swing. He provided a few very effective drills, and left me with great ways to practice this on my own time. Would definitely recommend John, and I will be returning for future lessons

Regular visitor of this location. Great facilities and friendly staff - some minor hiccups here and there as things settle in, but the overall experience is great and consistently improving on itself.Had a quick 30-minute lesson with pro John Gorman. He was practical and easy to connect with; he understood this was a brief check-up and rather than load up with swing thoughts, we focused on a couple of feels that would be easy to work on indoors. Exactly what I was looking for. Plan on seeing him again when in need of a fresh set of eyes.

John Gorman is the guy!! Been to a bunch of people to help fix my swing with no avail. Within 20 minutes he helped me build a confident swing and something I can grow upon. Definitely coming back for a second session!Also my guy Rich is the man! Always helps out and is a great dude.

I just finished my first lesson with John Gorman at Five Iron UES and it was a great experience! Johns technical knowledge and patience were helpful and encouraging. He demonstrated a thorough understanding of golf mechanics, and his ability to explain complex concepts made it easy for me to grasp the fundamentals quickly. Despite being new to the sport, John remained calm and composed, providing constructive feedback and tailoring instruction to my needs. His positive and motivating demeanor created a great learning environment. The dude at the front desk was really amazing, so positive and helpful. Cannot recall his name but I played Sunday May 26th at 8am.

Middle of August. Air conditioning is broken. Nobody said anything beforehand. Then the computer in our bay was glitching like crazy and extremely hard to use so they had to set us up on a different one. We didn’t start until 20 min past our start time of 1pm. They were, however, extremely quick to walk over and tell us time was up the second it turned 3:30pm. No leeway or consideration for the issues we had getting started.It was an ok experience. Quesadilla was pretty good

Visited this new indoor golf spot recently on a rainy day in NYC. This place is great for anyone of any golf skill level. Had plenty of golf simulators on site (counted at least 6) and even a putting green with multiple holes that was free to use while you waited for your simulator to open up or to use as a cool down when your session is over.The simulators let you play fun mini-games, play virtual replicas of real courses, or hit at a virtual driving range that gives you precise stats for each swing and ability to replay the video at multiple angles. Staff was very helpful and attentive, and were happy to help and show us how to navigate the wide variety of options on the simulators.The music, fully stocked bar with draft beers and cocktails, and variety of classic bar food make it a solid date night spot or group activity with friends. Definitely a place for both casual / newbie golfers as well as more serious individuals looking to improve their game.

I had a very helpful lesson with John Gorman ahead of getting back to the golf course this year and I learned so much. After I hit just a couple of balls, he made a suggestion regarding my stance that immediately helped correct the issue I had been having with follow-through. And I thought I was decent at putting, but he gave me a tip at the end of the lesson that helped me to immediately sink a few. I will be back for more lessons with John!

Had my first lesson with John today and by the end of the hour he had me clearing my hips and hitting bombs. Highly recommended! Great demeanor as well.

I recently took a lesson at 5 Iron UES with John Gorman. Prior to the lesson my ball striking was in disarray. John very quickly diagnosed the major issue holding me back and provided a simplified approach to correct it. I saw immediate improvement in my next round on the course. For anyone struggling with their game or just looking to get to the next level, I highly recommend visiting John!

Great place. Well managed and top notch trackman tech. Golf pro John Gorman is excellent and makes great use of the time to help fix/adjust swing mechanics.

Great. The mats are already getting tired. And the track man are often out of sync. Though the staff is always quick to fix.Edit: mats were replaced soon after mentioning it to mgmt. customer service is top notch.

I didnt play. I was there for a company. I was there with a private event. You rent out 1-2 private spots that can make fun and memorable moments. The food was great. Service tops. 2 things they did for me; brought me a high chair like bar stool and went to get me diet coke while their pump machine was missing the diet coke syrup.

Come and take a lesson from Sean! Hes laid back, respectful, with great sense of humor, and you wont feel like a complete failure when youre a very beginner like me, ha! Computer analysis with the visuals is also very helpful!

5 Iron Golf is a great place to hit golf balls indoors and Im glad it opened on the UES. It is a spacious facility with great technology. They have it set up so it is fun for all age groups and levels of play. The staff is very nice and the manager, Kieran, is dedicated to making it a positive experience for everyone.

1st time to check this place out. Super cool venue and really liked the feedback from the Trackman technological features. Drinks were reasonably priced as was the food. Great staff took care of us as we smashed drives on the virtual courses. Definitely will be back when in town in the future.

Stopped by 5 iron today for the first time and worked with John. I have a back injury that I made him aware of before my first swing. He tried to make accommodations for me throughout the hour and everything was aimed at making me more comfortable all while helping with my form. I’m still in pain but would be a lot worse off if it wasn’t for John helping me. I’ll be back asap! Thanks

Amazing, cant believe how helpful and friendly staff were. There was this guy, I think called Brendan (it was Tuesday at 10 pm) who went above and beyond to make it a great time. All around great experience. I went impulsively with a group of a few friends, and had drinks and played golf, all around great time, cant recommend enough. Will be coming back!

UES location is Grade A++I usually go between 12-4PM M-F and the staff that works during that time makes me feel like I am a member at Baltusrol. Attentive, polite, know my name, and outstanding service

First lesson with John Gorman and he fully diagnosed the biggest flaw in my swing and focused on that without overcomplicating it. Had my swing looking much better and felt more comfortable within one hour. First instructor who has made me want regular lessons and I will certainly book with him again.

Always a great time here at 5 iron! Joined when this club first opened on the UES and admit I’m spending quite a bit of time here over the summer when I can’t get out to a real course! My swing is improved dramatically thanks to lessons with Sean Keating, my golf pro. I certainly can’t say enough positive things about the team that runs this place; Rich and Ben whom I see usually on weekday mornings both make sure that everything functions well, questions are answered, impromptu advice is given when asked, and that the experience is top notch. You’ve got to give it a try!

I recommend this place to everyone I know. A great spot to go to work on your game or to have a great time with friends. Rich and Ben are the best!

This spot is fantastic, and the atmosphere is tranquil. My family and I booked a group session with John, which did not disappoint. John was patient and professional, and we appreciated the time he took to explain the etiquette of the game of golf. We are booking with Five Iron Golf and John again!

John is very knowledgeable about the golf swing and helped diagnose a very specific issue I was having with my swing and more importantly helped give solutions to fix it. I am writing this review to share my incredible experience with John Gorman. I am relatively new to golf and by the end of my 1 hour lesson I felt much more comfortable and confident in my swing. I was hitting the ball straight with significantly more power. John is a 5 star teacher and I will most definitely be coming back as soon as possible HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

John is an amazing trainer. He takes his time to explain the mechanics of your body movement and the impact on the ball.

Perfect addition to the Upper East Side. Place is immaculate, with friendly and helpful staff. Love that the location has Trackman on all of the bays and 3 cameras in each. Have taken my 4.5 year old and its been a wonderful experience.
