Great ice cream. However, they serve the smallest scoops ever, just a size of a golf ball. For the price you pay you would think they would make them a little bigger. The selection of flavors is quite good. However, again even the kids noticed how tiny the scoops of ice cream are.

Dominic was extraordinarily kind and helpful while we picked out flavors. We went with Chunky Monkey, delicious!!

Have had B&J in Ithaca, NY. Wonderful crew there who allowed us testers and also suggested nice combinations. Here in Broadway, no testers, ended up choosing two similar flavors. Customer service could definitely use some improvement. Apart from this, the ice cream is amazing!!

Definitely a tourist spot, but really yummy ice cream. The staff was friendly and fast. The small ice cream cone is still 2 scoops of ice cream, so you we split it between two people. The 7 dollar price tag is on par with the Times Square location.

The ice cream destination of Ben $ Jerry, I would recommend Sorbet as Pint ice cream we can buy from any grocery stores!

Staff was very kind and patient. Prices are decent for being in the city. Variety of flavors. Space is small so it will get crowded with multiple people. Recommend getting the shake. Swing by if you’re in the area.

Yummmy chocolate fudge ice cream served in chocolate dipped cone. You get to make your NY sovenier too for just 51cents.

I saw someone passing by with a yummy looking waffle cone and eating ice cream. And thats it!!!!!! I had to find out where did it come from lol so we walked straight on the same street he came from and we found it , yaay. I knew Ben and Jerrys was there but didnt go in. But this time , at 10pm at night , I had to hahaIt was busy at that time but well managed. They had two fridges for ice cream and nice flavours. They had 2 different flavors in coffee. And I had to get them both ♥️ so I got a nut waffle cone with two scoops of each coffee ice cream. My friend got Coffee and Butter pecans.They scoped it nicely and have a spoon ( you definitely need that 😂)I loved both coffee ice creams and butter pecan. It was yummy too. They were fresh and tasty. But , the nut cone I got tasted bit off. I guess it was the peanuts. As if they are old. I guess Ill never go for nutty ones again lol plus the cone tasted like eggy. Idk if they use eggs to make waffle cones?Next time Ill get in cups and go back again haha

Love that they have non-dairy options.. and they taste pretty darn good! I recommend the strawberry cheesecake non-dairy.

Id been excited to visit but it was a big disappointment. The web page for this location listed a lot of flavors they didnt actually have. We ordered the mini vermonster and it came without the banana, cookie, or brownie thats supposed to be in there. It was basically just a $25 little bucket with 1/3 ice cream and 2/3 whipped cream. There was so much whipped cream we really couldnt taste the ice cream at all. Just a big bummer overall.

Would like more vegan options available for a cone! Staff was nice and it was super clean in here. The non vegan loved his ice cream! It really hit the spot even though it was cold. I like how they have many topping options now too. Hope to see more of their delicious vegan options available next time I’m there!

Delicious ice cream (thank you Ben and Jerry) but rude and stingy staff. The best part of a scoop shop is tasting the flavours. They wouldn’t even add a smidge of a third flavour to entice us to buy a second portion.

Jeremy provided amazing customer service when I wanted a special flavor that wasnt on UberEats. He went out of his way to be helpful and accommodating. Shoutout to Jeremy!!

When I entered the store to purchase my ice cream, people outside were jeering me about politics in foreign countries as well as police issues. I realized that they are associating me with the companies politics. All I want is ice cream for my children it should be a pure and fun experience. I wouldn’t want anyone to target and harass my children based off of the ice cream that they are eating. Hope I can rate 5 stars next visit but I first have to feel safe!

A very nice spot for some of your favorite Bens and Jerry ice cream flavors. Had the Sweet Cream and cookies and that flavor was absolutely delicious as a Spring treat! Other popular flavors maybe Cherry Garcia, Americone Dream, and the Tonight Dough. 🍦😋

This was my first visit to NYC and I am a real foodie. Visited Ben & Jerry’s and found it real amazing. The staff is nice. We had a Chocolate Fudge and caramelized almonds ice cream. I would rate the staff as 8/10. The icecream for the price would be 9/10. It’s a must have.

Not bad, but a little dirty. The ice cream was the same good quality found on the West Coast. But, honestly, for a company with SO MUCH up on the walls proclaiming how much they love the earth WHY are they still providing PLASTIC spoons? Biodegradable spoons have been available for a WHILE B&J, get with the program. If you want to claim to be an Earth-focused company, then stop serving plastic to your customers. That cost you a star :P

Delicious icecream I got an ice-cream called something is brewing and it was amazing!

Went in around 8:30 PM on a weekday. The store was clean and pretty empty which was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the Times Square area. The two ladys working were kind and helpful as wed never been to a Ben & Jerrys store before (we usually only buy the pints from the grocery store). The ice cream was yummy! Prices are higher here--but most buisnesses do charge more in the tourist areas so this is expected. My only wish would have been seating. I know a few places in the area that dont have seating or dont have enough and when your ice cream is melting it would be nice to sit and enjoy it right away.

The ice cream was weirdly gritty. It honestly didnt have much flavor either. In the strawberry it was hard to detect, in the marshmallow sky it was good with the cd bites and a pretty color, but not much flavor.

Left out, asked for some sprinkles. And girl wanted to charge me 4.34.I bought four ice cream containers from her and she had the audacity. She could have added a few sprinkles on the ice cream.

The counters were dirty, music was so loud that the girl couldnt even hear me.Also 2 flavors were too frozen.It was very strange experience. Ice cream was ok.

Very clean small and quiet place. Theres no where to sit but theres a ledge to lean on. The ice cream was delicious and they had this amazing brownie/ cookie combination it was amazing.

Got the Mini Vermonster with the following flavours: strawberry cheesecake, chocolate chip cookie dough, butter pecan, and milk & cookies. All the flavours are amazing!!!! It was huge and more than enough for 4 people to share 😁

Wanted to buy 2 of their coffee mugs. Items were marked $12.99 in plain site and the counter person tried to charge us $16.99 per mug. Totally dishonest and refused to honor prices marked on the items. Watch out for dishonest counter person and refusal to take care of their customers.

I want to choose No star option. :(The flavors were good but it was over charged. (more than $2.5!) The guys didnt give me the receipt.I would recommend you another store, if you want icecream.

I paid a visit to the Times Square location today. The flavors were good, but the overall experience wasnt great. It was overpriced and the person behind the counter wasnt very happy when I asked for a receipt.

Tried out Americone and Strawberry Cheese ice cream in a waffle. Delicious! Enjoyed every moment of it.

Don’t come here if it’s anywhere near 12. We showed up at 11:45 just now and we’re told they closed 10 minutes ago but still served and the two gentlemen had a ton of attitude. Don’t work at the Times Square shop if you want to close early.

I have been surprised to find an excellent gluten-free and dairy free “ice-cream” here. And many (dairy) flavors for the rest of the family!

I was there at 11:04 am with my 5-year-old kid. The guy in the store told me they were not open. We waited for 5 minutes or so and they were still closed. They supposed to be open on 11am.

Not a great experience!Employee refused to change the flavors even I told them I didn’t liked it. I couldn’t verify earlier as they didn’t allow tasting. We got 3 flavors and one of them was a taste wrecker.Maybe they should implement tasting or let they customer be able to change upon request.

The ice was really good I think there was good option of flavors, good location. the only reason I give 3 starts is because customer service was some what poor, the women had an attitude with me and my 80 year old grand mother who actually does not speak english so i was trying to translate and this women seem to be very inpatient and gave us a bad attitude about the size of the ice cream she wanted.

Definitely a place I always stop it when I’m in the city. Wide variety of flavors, whether you are just getting a few scoops, a sundae, or a shake. Some of the best icecream I’ve ever had is here!

The Ice Cream Is Great but the two female Staff here I encountered couldve been much friendlier when I simply asked questions about why Half Baked my favorite flavor wasnt on the menu. However this wont hender me from buying your Ice Cream. Ill visit a different location next time. Ive also tried Chunky Monkey, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and particularly Vanilla at this location. Ill post Ice Cream photos on the next review.

The sunflower butter base is some of the BEST vegan ice cream I have ever had and the cookie dough with almond milk was fabulous.Follow @pivonkasplate for my favorite NY eats and drinks :)

Ben and Jerrys is indigestable. Im not saying that the ice cream tastes bad because it is owned by Unilever (which continues to do business in Russia) but it definitely pretends to be small town and good quality- there is much better ice cream elsewhere, from true mom and pop establishments.

Ice cream is good but staff is terrible. I ordered a waffle cone and they didn’t even try to scoop the ice cream, they just lightly scraped the tub and dumped it into the cone. Barely half a scoops worth of ice cream and still costed $10

This place is a must, the workers are so friendly and helpful with customers. We stood there enjoying our Ben and Jerry watching how efficiently they all were working. Thanks 🙏

Greatest ice cream!

Nothing beats getting their ice cream scooped fresh for you, or put into a milkshake. The staff is helpful every time we go. This is a much welcome little escape from the craze of midtown. Take a little stroll or sit across the street in Shubert Alley as you enjoy.

Went in at around 4pm on a Friday, the place had a few customers in it and there were 2 workers. They were fast and efficient. There were no problems at all, I guess it all just depends on if you visit during a crowded time. Plus the strawberry ice cream was yummy so hooray!

Not surprised by the bad reviews as I have experienced the same rude and bitter behavior while ordering a cake. I will not be ordering from this store again, which we have over 30 cake orders a year for employee birthdays. A tip from someone who has been in a customer-facing role for over five years (in retail, hospitality, and real estate); maybe if you were nicer, people would be a little more pleasant to you. Attitude is not appreciated, and if you cannot be pleasant, find a job where you are not in a customer-facing role. Bad days happen, but if someone is being nice while speaking to you, then maybe try to show some positiveness back.

BEST ICE CREAM SHOP EVER!!! The store is very clean and the staff is super friendly. I visit this shop probably once a month and I have always had amazing consistent service. The vibe in the shop is great and you feel welcome and appreciated… There are many options for ice cream, but nothing will compare! If you find yourself in Times Square do yourself a favor and visit this shop.

I scream, you scream, we all scream at the never ending delays of the subway. After getting stuck in a sweltering hot subway car for a half hour, I needed to get me a sweet treat and only a heaping scoop of Cherry Garcia would do it.While tucked away in the Rockefeller center dining concourse, this Ben and Jerrys packs as much ice cream into their limited square footage as they pack sweet tastes into their inventive flavors.

VERY pricy. 7.50 for a quart. You can also get the large cup for 7.50 in which you can mix multiple flavors, but for portion size - youre better off just buying a pint.

Best ice cream near Times Square…

Good music, chilled staff and always good non dairy selections. I love this particular location because it is nestled away in the back side of an otherwise popular street so no lines which means no fuss.

I’m sorry I don’t know his name, but the young black guy that works there is amazing !!! It’s my sons birthday and we’re here from out of town he went above & beyond to last minute write on it for me & give me all the things I need to cut & eat it. He should get a raise! Lol

I traveled to this location from Brooklyn for a milkshake and I got there at 11:55 and the supervisor Mike refused to serve me a milkshake because he claimed his blenders were shut down and he was following rules. Now I understand if they ran out of milk like they usually do, but not to make a customer a milkshake because you dont want to run the blender pitcher through a 45 second sanitizer a last time is ridiculous! Im pretty sure if an establishment is opened until a certain time, the employees should be serving everything until closing time unless they run out of product. This isnt a good look for Ben and Jerrys at all considering the fact that they are in the heart of times square. Someone needs to work on the night time staffing, i am extremely disappointed!

My opinion is that this place is worth skipping. As an NYC local, might I suggest an alternative? Superior options include van leeuwens, morgensterns, and emack and bolios... just to name a few.

Ben & Jerrys has always had a reputation to serve amazing ice cream, which is why my boss and I decided to order our office a cake from here to celebrate her birthday. We went through the process of building the custom cake online, which informed us we needed to call the location to order the cake. When I called, the woman on the phone was incredibly rude and wondering why I was calling a week in advance to order my cake as they generally take orders a day in advance. She then disrespectfully told me she needed to take care of other customers first, and audibly complained to her coworker that I was calling to order a cake a week in advance. The process then became unnecessarily complicated when she told me their franchise operates differently than the website I used to create my cake, and she got extremely impatient when I had to consult my boss on the new cake order choices I was given. I havent picked up the cake yet, and Im definitely not looking forward to future customer service interactions with the store.

Ben & Jerrys has more or less the same look-and-feel in all its shops and this one makes no exception. The choice of non-dairy products is very limited and prices very expensive (but aligned to those of the surrounding area - almost 7 $ for a single flavor ice-cream).

I went there on the ice cream day, when they gave away free scoop of ice cream. The lines were so long and the stuffs must be busy scooping ice cream all the time. But the staff was still very friendly to me, snd that ice cream I got was tasty. I really enjoy the ice cream, and will go back again.

I came here expecting top notch quality of service/ice cream but was shocked to discover that the whipped cream on my milkshake was SPOILED and rotten. It had a disgusting sour taste that was extremely off-putting. When I told the server to warn them that it may be expired, they had an “oh well” attitude and were extremely rude about it. Servers should be more aware of what they’re serving customers.

Tasty icecream. Server did not give us much for a waffle cone. Barely any ice cream in there. He just looked like he didnt want to be there.

I hardly ever write negative reviews because I realize people can have bad days (especially at work), but I cant believe how rude this store was. If you are trying to order a birthday cake from this location, I suggest finding a different store in NYC.

Along with their lovely dairy icecream in a wide variety of flavours, Ben and Jerrys also sells amazing vegan icecream. They have a wide range of toppings and you can choose between icecream in a cone, cup or as a milkshake which is really nice.
