Very handsome waiter. Loved serving his customers. Thaer was an amazing server, and he even danced with us. Also, he gifted us free shots. We love this man. For life. 10/10 will come again.

Pros = Hookahs and attentive service.Cons = Drink mandates but I mean why not.Group of 4 had a great time and they accommodated us almost immediately.

We were almost passing on this place due to reviews but I am glad we did not. We went for hookah and it was maybe the best one I have in 2024. Yes, it was not cheap but you would know that before your order (not sure why people comment on that) but for an hour I was there, it was still going.If you are looking for a hookah place in town, look no further.

Its an absolutely wonderful place. Pretty busy place too. The staff were amazing. They were very welcoming and very polite. And I mean VERY polite. We actually came to this place every night from how nice they were. My partner grabbed some sheesha which she loved. Thier coal is very strong. I ordered some food which was also delicious. If youre looking for a late night place to hang out, I would recommend this place.

The lady with the blonde curly hair is the rudest! We had brought our co workers there post dinner to to enjoy hookah and she first complained that there were too many of us and that it would be too crowded when other clients came (who says that to paying customers?) and then proceeded to try and stuff us in a tiny space. We proceeded to go back into the main restaurant and she was harassing us to spend more money all night and got pissed off when more people came. I will never visit this place again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else. I see that there are other bad reviews about the same crazy lady and I’m wondering how she still works there and hasn’t been fired yet. The owner probably just doesn’t care that his customers are being treated poorly which speaks to the quality of this establishment. Avoid at all cost!!

This was a great last minute find. We needed a place to escape the heat and chill and this is just what we were looking for. Hookah and tea were excellent, service was quick and they were fast to change out our coals. The atmosphere and vibe was very relaxing. Would definitely recommend as a nice place to chill and smoke hookah.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Horus Too on 46th Street. My group of 14 was excited to celebrate a sold-out Broadway show, but we were met with rude service and policies that felt discriminatory [based on us being black].Despite the lounge being nearly empty, we were mandated to order four hookahs, leave an ID and credit card, and agree to other terms before being seated. We explained we planned to spend a good amount of money on food, drinks, and hookah, yet the staff [woman] refused to accommodate us, even walking away multiple times.We ended up going to Iron Bar nearby, where we spent over $600 [hookahs were $40, we got 5] easily without unnecessary mandates. Horus Too’s staff missed out on significant revenue due to their unwelcoming and discriminatory behavior [hookah alone we woulda spent $400, not to mention food, and beverages]. Lost out on $1,000.00+++

I will never come here again! Service bad, hookah bad , drinks bad ….came here after a dinner did not like it…the table next to me had the same complaint..

I didnt have food, but the hookah was exactly how I like it. Clean flavor and it hit consistently the whole time. The Egyptian tea was the cherry on top, it was delicious.Customer service was exceptional and I would come back any time.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had! When it comes to scamming and trying to be smart it really pisses me off! They had a bday hookah and it said it included two pitchers and the hookah for 65 dollars, at the end when they brought the check came to be 222, according to the server this was a mistake on the menu and there wasn’t any manager at that time so we had to pay the unfair price that they ridiculously over charged! This is a big no! I’d never step a foot in there in my life.

I would not recommend Horus Too in Hell’s Kitchen if youre looking for a fun and welcoming night out. My group of 8 girls came in ready to order food, drinks, and at least one hookah, but the staff was incredibly rude from the start. Not everyone in our group wanted hookah, yet they tried to force us to order either two hookahs or two pitchers just to stay.The place was completely empty, but the woman working there claimed they had reservations (which was clearly not true) and practically tried to push us out. To make matters worse, as we were still deciding what to do, a guy who worked there came over, rudely moved the table I was sitting at, and said, “Thank you, bye.” It was unnecessary and disrespectful.If you’re looking for a good time without being treated poorly, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. We left and had a much better experience elsewhere, where we were actually welcomed.

Not sure of the 3.7 out of 5 stars. That doesn’t do it any justice. My wife and I go to New York annually for the past 3 years. We make it our mission to visit Horus. The vibes are amazing, hookah is great, staff is extremely friendly. It’s one of our favorite places to visit in NY. Only thing I dislike is them getting rid of the Ice Hoses. But that’s not biggie at all. Hookah is still fresh and tasteful. We love it!

Waitress/waiter unprofessional. Waited over 30 minutes for her to come back so she can take our drink orders. The music is horrible. Every song they played - had the N* word in it. 6 open tables but yet she had a problem where we preferred to be seated for the evening. Hot inside the establishment even with the doors open.The ambiance was Awful and when we asked for the check because we were unhappy with our time..she made a face about it. Unfortunately 0 stars wasn’t available otherwise…they get 1 star!

Went yesterday to top of a fun night with my bestie and instead this place just ruined it. We were seated within minutes and asked the waitress for a hookah flavor recommendation. She recommended a $50 rainbow one. So we went for it but ended up waiting 40 minutes for our hookah to arrive. The couple that came in after us ordered two hookahs for each of them and they got theirs shortly after they sat down. We asked the waitress after 30 minutes what was going on with our hookah and she walked away but she went to speak with someone. The hookah finally comes and it is flavorless. The coal needed to be changed and they never came. We were over it. When we got the bill, they added gratuity on their own cause she knows darn well that she didnt deserve it. I really wasnt in the mood to make a deal so we paid and left. No courtesy discount or anything to make up for the miserable experience. They may have gotten our money last night but they dont have returning customers.

Horus Too used to be one of my favorite go to hookah spots in Hell’s kitchen. I’ve been here on several occasions, one being my birthday, and it was always a great time. Yesterday I went with a group of 5 friends, when we inquired for a table, we were told we had to buy TWO hookahs no exceptions even though two of our friends were not smoking and there were a few tables available. We came there with the intentions to smoke, have food and get drinks. A curly haired white woman turned down willing paying customers on a rainy day without letting us even explain ourselves. Don’t waste your time. I recommend Iron Bar on 45th and 8th. Hookah, great drinks and an actual DJ not a wack iPad/ bluetooth setup.

We went to the hookah spot for the first time and ordered beer and hookah .we were expecting they would open the beer Infront of us . They opened it and brought it to us . We asked the waitress to give us another one . She couldn’t help us. She thought I was given her a hard time . To make it short this place is not want I would recommend some one to visit . Hookah is 50 plus they put service charge on the receipt .

A few friends and I attempted to patronize the establishment to celebrate a sold out Broadway show and was met with what felt like blatant discrimination and hesitation based on the way we looked. It was very unfortunate that more than 12 people who looked forward to hookah, food, and drinks with friends were turned away.Additionally the mandate for 1 hookah, and 1 drink per person was not enforced as a sitting customer expressed she’d only be ordering water.

The hookah is just acceptable. It is served in pineapple hookah bowls which is certainly not discarded after one use. This is for show and not that practical, you can taste the burnt tobacco. The atmosphere is loud, annoying, and not relaxing! I do not recommend!

Happy hour ends at 7pm now and well drinks are included in the happy hour special. With covid, each party has a 75 min limit. The also require that you purchase a food item per guest.

They overcharged us by a very large amount. And according to the other google reviews, this has happened frequently, it’s not made by mistake, it’s a scam.It’s $3 for each bottle of water (and they just put it on the table without telling us), $13 for a shot (and they put water in it, it’s not pure liquor), $70 for a cocktail pitcher, $50 for each hookah and $35 for a head. We ordered 2 hookah, 2 cocktails, 18 shots and they gave us some water. We didn’t order for the heads but apparently they switched them without our consent. So in total it should be around $594, but they charged for $755 and the total bill was $891.34We called them afterwards to argue with the check but they just insisted on treating us next time we go there, which will definitely not happen again.

The worst shisha Ive ever have. Favour was smelt burnt. Service wasnt good as well, it was extremely unpleasant. Place was like bad movie - loud music, many flashing lights and it was extremely confined. But the drinks are quite good. In general never more.

If I could rate this place a zero I would. Me and my friend went there after seeing the Christmas tree in Rockefeller center and we had the worst experience. The “manager” Jay, was so rude we were sitting there for 30 minutes and didn’t get any service. When we did get jays attention we started to order our food just for him to tell us that the kitchen closed 10 minutes ago. There were also underaged people in there being really loud and saying inappropriate things it just made us feel so uncomfortable. Not to mention the hookah looked trash literally no real clouds. Save yourself a trip and don’t come here.

They give big groups a hard time to seat. Its a small place, so not recommended for groups larger than 5 people. For a group of 10 people they told us we had a minimum to order, 3 hookas, 3 pitchers. I mean we wouldve done it but they were nasty about it.

Bottle of water is $5. Server was nice to keep bringing us mouth pieces when my drunk friend kept dropping hers to the floor. Didnt like that we were moved suddenly to another table to accommodate a larger party waiting outside. If theres no room for them, make them wait until there is if they didnt make reservations.

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM.on their menu they have their birthday hookah for $65.Under the price it saids “package includes 2 flavors and 2 pitchers of your choice of cocktails” no other price is mentioned.As we were ordering we were surprised that the whole thing only cost $65, the female server at the time HEARD us ask if that was all included and she just smiled and mentioned the pitchers of cocktails we could ordered, so of course that’s what we did.When it was time to pay the bill, one of my friends went up and just handed the server the credit card. The server brought the receipt for her to sign and it said My friend paid $222!!!I go up to the server to find out what happened and her response is “I did the menu and that’s a mistake so the price is wrong”I DONT CARE IF YOU MADE THE MISTAKE, YOU HONOR IT AND SHE HAD THE AUDACITY TO HEAR US QUESTION THE PRICE AND SHE REMAINED QUIET, SHE KNEW WHAT THE HELL SHE WAS DOING.the next day I called to speak to the manager and he goes “I can’t give you the money back but you can come back and have everything for free” NOOOOO I WANT MY MONEY BACK. then continues to say “do you want me to fire the server? I will” again I response “I dont care what you do with her just give me my money back” he still refused so now i have to file a police report.I’m a server myself and that behavior is disgraceful.AVOID THIS PLACE! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Greatest Shisha Bar in New York, its small and cosy! Excellent shishas made with ananas pots.Price is 50dollar but this is standard in NY for high quality shishas!Food is outstanding!

I wish I had photographs to go with this review but the staff was very friendly. The server, julio, was very attentive and it was a very cozy area to smoke some hookah and get delicious drinks as well. I loved my time here. Will return for sure!

The place was nice for a location , but it’s over priced hookah was too much, also they take a really long time to get you the food I waited for 45 minuets. If your not busy with your day go but if you are on a schedule then I wouldn’t recommend it.

Worst hookah bar Ive ever been to. We ordered a hookah after they sat us and were then told that we have to order food or drinks to stay (on top of the $40 hookah we just ordered), also we were told that they didnt have water....unless we ordered food.....so we tried to order a couple appetizers...then were told we had to order more...finally the manager came over and rudely told us we have to spend 20 dollars person (on top of the hookah?) to stay....they also asked me if Ive ever been to hookah bar because this is standard practice....needless to say we left...this was a Friday night, so maybe they wont try to extort you on the weekdays...I def wouldnt support these money grubbers

The customer service at this place is first class. We didnt have to ask for anything! They kept our drinks full and our coals hot at all times. The vibe was so amazing and they even played a song for me that i requested!! Lea was our server and she treated us like royalty. My husband and i were visiting from Colorado and actually went back to Horus Too a second time before we left to go back home. We loved it!

The gentleman hosting took it upon himself to bring both of us tequila shots and a sparkler to celebrate and I was so pleasantly surprised.We look forward to going here again in the near future. It seems like this place would be wonderful with a group of friends. ☺️

Very expensive and very small. The service is great and the food is good. I wanted to stay longer but it was so hot and cramped we only stayed an hour.

Place was cramped. Small area, too much tables.Music was really high and not to my taste.Hookah was good but expensive.Service was ok.

Great small intimate hookah spot. Close to time square. Try the mint tea and tajin lamb. Hookah has a cool pineapple base.

The staff at this place were terrible! They were so rude and unfriendly, and their behavior showed blatant homophobia. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone in the LGBTQ+ community. Stay away from this place at all costs. 🚫

Dodgy requirements ($35 hookah per person?) which can be haggled down with drinks/food. Sub par flavors, drinks and food were ok. Good falafel.

Horrible drinks everything taste likeSprite I had a margarita it tasted like water and ice then I had a “lemon drop” tasted like lemon and water with lime not to mention the bathroom had a opening window which u can see into the kitchen smh horrible

Its a cool, tight quarters place and the prices are NYC reasonable. My two knocks are #1 - they add an automatic service charge and #2 - when a customer asks for water your establishment is required by law to have tap water and not make people pay. You are lucky I was in a good mood and just bought a bottle water from you instead, but someone could be harsh and they would be correct.

Great little Hookah spot, we were visiting from out of town, had a good time. The music was bumping, the drinks were good and the Hookah was plentiful.

Hooka was good, better than expected, a little pricey but it was good. Shout out to Gaby who made it though. I definitely will go back

Horrible service. Refused to give tap water and would only serve bottled water for $5/bottle. Hookah was overpriced and food took very long to get to the table. Would rate as 0 stars if the option was available.

Literally the worst place ever and I’ll never come back. The older woman waitress with the curly hair is a nightmare!!!! She’s a liar and a thief and completely in the wrong business. SOOOO RUDE. This was the last and final time I’ll be in this place. We ordered hookah last two times she charged us $100 for one hookah and apparently added her own gratuity on and added extras we never paid for. We went back and ordered a premium hookah ($50) was supposed to come with ice hose (included in the description) and she said the ice hose is extra. I said then why does it say it on your menu? Her response was “because it looks bad if we change the menu and you need to pay extra” LIKE WHAT?????? Is she joking 🤣 hahahah. We walked out. She ruined the experience three times. She SUCKS and we won’t be back ever again!

We had great service when we came here. Its a bit on the pricey side so its definitely more of a special occasions type of place.
