Harlem on Fifth

Had a terrible experience at this establishment. The manager was cold, dismissive and disrespectful. we waited two hours for our meal to come. Manager was not apologetic and had a matter-of-fact tone. He even said he was losing money having us dine at the restaurant because we were eating on a Living Social deal. I wanted this to me a nice experience, especially since the restaurant is in my community. But, I would never patron there again, since my dollar and presence wasnt valued. Also, the food was bland. It came to the table lukewarm.

Excellent service. The food was beyond my expectations. The food was traditional soul food but it was an interesting new take on the classic meals I recommend the mac and cheese, collard green turnover and fried chicken. The hookah was pretty good once this place gets a little more buzz I think it will be one of the most talked about and popular restaraunts/cafes in Harlem

On a lazy day, I ordered some food from seamless. Had never heard of this place. The prices turned me off a bit but the menu sounded delicious. Got the grilled shrimp baked mac. De-li-cious. They could give a little more for the price though or have it come with chicken or something. Also ordered the mint lemonade. Also delicious. Complete order process took less than 45 minutes. I will definitely try their other items.

I came here with my boyfriend initially just to get drinks and hookah, but decided to get food.I am a picky eater, but was surprised to see an item titled Bacon Mac and Cheese that was made with TURKEY BACON. If your a Mac and Cheese lover, this place is a Must. They have crab, shrimp, chicken, veggie and four cheese Mac and cheese. The Turkey Bacon Mac and Cheese was DIVINE. I was kind of surprised that this restaurant was not packed. The ambience,(music/decor/temperature) food, and hookah was excellent so I was confused why there was only one other couple in the place on a Friday night. Then I realized that they are in the process of getting there liquor license so I assume that is why they arent as busy. The bar appeared lonely, but still spotless and appealing. I hope that Harlem 5th becomes more popular once they get the liquor license approved. The service and pricing was beyond my expectation. I am very pleased with this restaurant and will be returning!!

****THIS REVIEW IS BASED SOLELY FROM ABOUT 5 DELIVERY ORDERS****This place is amazing. I found out about them through Grub Hub and then checked their reviews here on Yelp. All the reviews were fairly decent. I decided to give it go. I ordered the Shrimp pasta via GrubHub and the food was delivered in a hour. NOT A MINUTE LESS!!!! Once I received my delivery I noticed my food was pipping hot. Now I have ordered delivery from alot of other Harlem restaurants and the food is luke warm or sandwiches soggy. NOT HARLEM ON FIFTH!!! The presentation on the food was also great. I pay attention to details alot!!! It came with this bread that warm and sliced. I felt like all I need was a candle and match and it could of been a candle lit dinner. Everything was very appealing to the eye. If a restaurants cares just as much about their delivery customers as their dine in customers THAT SPEAKS VOLUMES FOR ME!!!The food was awesome and had lots of flavor and not to salty. Everything was seasoned well. I have order their Chicken BLT twice because it is that amazing, plain mac n cheese, shrimp mac in cheese, crab mac n cheese,herb shrimp, friend chicken, and their greens.Their mac n cheese is beyond amazing!! It has quickly become a fav for my husband and I. The herb shrimp was great as well. Only thing I was not crazy about was the greens. Pretty bland.Eventually I plan to make a trip to Harlem on Fifth to dine in ;)

I came here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon it was mildly packed. If you are going for a more healthier option for the way you food is prepared this is the right spot. I ordered the bacon mac and cheese that everyone was raving about and it was good.

Great food and live music is a rare find these days, but I had to give this place only a three-star rating due to the fact that there is no liquor served. Forget about happy hour...

First time ordering last night i order the salmon 2 5cheese mac nd cheese sweet potatoes peach cobbler bloody mary snapellegrino EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT!!!! so good i am going to order from them again today
