I was strolling through the neighborhood yesterday with my friend and my dog when we decided to stop at Yves Restaurant. We chose to sit outside because of the dog, and I can’t rave enough about how friendly and accommodating the staff was. A special shoutout to Marcus, who went above and beyond! Not only did he bring out water and a dog bowl for my pup, but he also prepared some chicken for her when I mentioned I had forgotten her food. It was such a thoughtful gesture that really made our day.As for the food, it was absolutely delicious—every bite exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and I’ll definitely be coming back, again and again. Yves is an amazing spot with top-notch service, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal, especially if you’re out with your furry friend!

A cute little cafe spot. The spaetzl and burger were phenomenal. Fries done perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy!

We had a really good brunch here but the people were what made it so good, everyone was so nice. We had the house-made boursin (whipped goat cheese, fresh herbs & garlic smeared baguette), french onion soup and a couple tasty bloody marys. The food was good, but not a 5. That said, wed definitely come back!

Vanilla ice cream on pancakes was an unexpected experience. As much as I love ice cream, the combination didn’t do it for me. Their blueberry pancakes had made a list or two of nyc’s “best” pancakes as said by your every day expert. They were good.The restaurant is a small spot but happens to also be stroller and little kid friendly because that particular morning seemed to be toddler and baby time.

I went out to dinner with my friend and once the meal was over I told her that this was the best meal Ive had in a very, very long time. We spilt the tuna nicoise salad, burger, pacherri pasta and mussels and each dish was better than the next. The food tasted fresh and clean which I appreciate. Additionally, the drinks were fabulous, I highly recommend the Sunset Grove cocktail. Service was spectacular. We had Ansalmo as our waiter who was attentive and made the best recs! 10/10 recommend and will be added to my list of go to spots!

Great French Resto in Tribeca. Reasonably priced brunch and lowkey atmosphere. Recommend it!!!

We ordered eggs benedict, pancakes and fries. The food was delicious although it would have been even better if the fries we got weren‘t cold. It took some time until the food arrived but maybe that was because someone celebrated their birthday party there. The restaurant wasn‘t at full capacity, so the service should still be as good as usual. We also wanted to order coffee and the waiter said that he would get us the menu. Nothing happened. Then we asked another waitress if she could tell us if they have coffee. She didn‘t know and told us she would be right back. Nothing happened. When we were almost finished with the food we got a black coffee, which we didn‘t order but was charged. This is unfortunate since we really dislike black coffee. Hopefully next time it‘ll be better.

Had the most gorgeous experience at this place! I had the sweet Rose as my server who did phenomenally. The tuna tartare was to die for, and the atmosphere of the restaurant at night was just ephemeral, thank you guys so much!

Yves is a beautiful intimate and hip restaurant with a vibrant scene.The food was delicious. Please have the artichokes and the steak with fries. The profiteroles were delicious as well.The place can get a bit loud so I had moments where I couldn’t hear the person right next to me.The service was meh. The waitress was giving my friend a bit of a hard time on how she could order her own meal. Overall the service felt rushed. I was getting up to table to leave and they already had the new sets of utensils and plates for the next table.

Pro: Order their pomme frites/shoe string fries and Frosé drink to go.Cons: Theyll covertly upsell a $9 bottle of sparkling water when you ask for a glass of complimentary water. Nervous energy fromserver staff surrounding regular Black diners dining in the outdoor area /shed. Its 2024,,in the most diverse City in the world, Ive zero tolerance for any nervous/discriminatory behavior.

Extremely disappointed, the service was good! The food was 3/10! Poulet au citron missed thé citron part. Couscous was a big slap In the face to my heritage! Zaalouk was okay but can use some spice. at least 50 percent of the menu is Moroccan and a the restaurant claims to be French!! Culture appropriation at its finest.

Everything about this place is wonderful!! The servers and hostess are super friendly and accommodating. Food was flavorful and lovely. I recommend the burger.

I have never shared a restaurant review before today but my experience at lunch was below acceptable. The service was extremely slow and not friendly. It felt like they were doing us a favor. I ordered the Yves Cheeseburger which was missing the caramelized onions and russian dressing. The salad was very uninspiring. Ive been to Yves before and today was a big disappointment.

The hostess was wonderful and very friendly. The wait staff was attentive and accommodating. The ambience is French and relaxed.

Food was okay, but the service was subpar. We had a hard time getting seated and receiving menus. Then the waitress told us that they were out of pancakes, which seemed ridiculous for a brunch place at 12 pm. They kept pushing for the yogurt & granola, which also seemed weird to us. I will not be returning.

Wonderful little French Moroccan Brasserie with delicious menu choices, nice wines and great service. We stopped here for Brunch and enjoyed every single dish. We have tried quite a few Brunch Specials… Market Salad , Moroccan Cigars, Shakhuka and Yves Burger. Cant wait to come back and try the dinner menu.

Nice space with a very nice-looking full bar. The brunch was extremely disappointing, and I simply cannot recommend Yves, especially with all the fantastic options within a few block radius. I really want to like Yves, and had high hopes that were completely dashed when my eggs benedict showed up with the smallest eggs I have seen, and tasting completely meh.

Stopped by for a drink, and Marvin was fantastic. The vibe was nice. Not too crowded with outdoor seating. Expresso martini with tequila was $22. A little expensive, but delicious.

We came across this place and wanted to give it a try for a long time but I’m not sure if I had a good experience overall. The waitstaff seemed overwhelmed and distracted for the most part and took us a long time even to get drinks for our table. I don’t know if I can recommend this place!

What a lovely experience. We were greeted by a very sweet gentleman with dimples. Service was delightful, and the food did not disappoint! We loved the tuna tartare, and the heirloom Tomato salad was so fresh!The steak was cooked perfectly as well.We very much enjoyed our fine dining experience!

Unfortunately we had a really subpar experience for how hyped up this place was. We were a table of 5 and 2 of our drinks didnt come out until we flagged down what seemed to be the only waitress to ask about the missing drinks. She was so kind and immediately grabbed them for us. But then the entire table got their meals except my burger didnt come out. The wait was so long that the rest of my group had finished their meals by the time mine came out and again we had to ask the waitress about the food before it came. The food itself wasnt flavorful which was quite disappointing. We also had to wait a long time for someone to come get our check to the point that we ended up walking it over to the hostess. They comped a portion of the bill which was very generous, but overall not really worth it when there are so many other brunch spots around the area.

A bit chaotic. Very noisy and busy w street traffic and commuters. Mussels appetizer and shared salad very good. Excellent cheeseburgers and red snapper special in lemon sauce w olives and caper berries were both very good.

Edit: I didn’t think this place would fall even further. After checking my credit card statement, I discovered that they over charged me! The owner should be ashamed of such a shady behavior.I’m disputing the whole charge with my credit card issuer and filing a police report for a fraudulent charge.——This place is a shadow of what it used to be.Every dish was either too salty or too bland. It was supposed to still be french, but almost everything on the menu is Moroccan, which could have fine had the execution been on part.The waiter was terrible.

Loved Yves unpretentious atmosphere. Located directly across the street from Robert DeNeros hotel. Outdoor dining available. Weve sat both inside and out. Love the beet salad, hanger steak, braised chicken meatballs, grilled carrots & salt baked oysters! Desserts here are yummy too! Will definitely frequent Yves. Staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. The Chef and kitchen crew know what is important...fresh food, great taste & quality.

The place is okay. Food is good but the atmosphere was just okay.Food wise, I was expecting escargot with the full buttery plate.Gnocchi are overcooked and missing density. Need more mushrooms than gnocchi. Good flavor. Bourdon cocktails are good.Branzino was good as well. Choux for the profiteroles are too dry. Wine list was not updated and we didnt get the wine we asked. It was okay.There are better French restaurants.

The service was good, portions were a bit small for the price. There are better brunch spots in the area but this is a good backup option if your favorite place is booked.

Very good atmosphere, and frequently an excess of attractive female patrons. Not open super late as it is in a quiet section of Tribeca. Friendly staff and bartenders and decent outdoor seating.

Came in from out of town to visit family, food was ok, but service was lacking. Pancakes were tasty, but the baguette for the ham sandwich was a little too hard for my liking.

Original ideas cocktails that tasted like jungle juice. Cold grilled artichoke. 1 additional star for the beef tartare which was fine... (the bread tasted like matzah).

I went for a quick dinner at 5:15 p.m. on a Tuesday on my own. For the price tag, the food was unremarkable. Not sure if I just ordered the wrong thing, but I couldnt taste a lot of things since I was dining solo. I was expecting something slightly more innovative, but it was more solid fresh high-end good ingredient Gastropub level. Service was wonderful and attentive, and it was nice to be able to sit outside on the sidewalk. Giving all the options that exist in tribeca, I dont think I would go back for the food, but might consider it if I had a big group and needed space outside.

I can’t believe this place doesn’t have better reviews! We had an awesome steak dinner and the ambiance is candlelit and superior.

The worst service I’ve ever had! The waiter never listened to our requests. The food and drinks are so expensive and they can’t provide a good service! I asked for well done cheeseburger and instead they gave me medium. I asked to make a wishes for birthday and they said okay but just ignored us. I DO NOT recommend this place and am very disappointed! Think twice before come to this place! Especially for birthday party!

I try to be generous on reviews, especially local businesses. However, our experience here was quite bad. Steak was medium well (ordered medium rare), server was non-existent, didnt get another item we ordered, and the entire experience took almost 2 hours for a very simple dinner. Food was B/B- at best. Great location and its a shame the restaurant didnt deliver on what could be a great concept.

Hate to write this review! I’ve been to Yves many times, and had a good experience. Things have changed and quality has gone down and the change of the menu is not good. Service is still great, but not worth the money.

Great atmosphere, service, and food!

Stopped at Yves for dinner this week. The space is nice, and the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. It was dark and the music could be turned down a notch. The meal was very disappointing. A lamb shank dinner was an odd cut which was almost entirely bone, with the appearance that it was butchered above and below a joint (knee). The dish was room temperature at best, and cold inside. Seasoning wise there was very little flavor. The mussels had an unpleasant sauce, as an entree they were ok at best. In an area of many dining choices Yves has a nice location and vibe, but there is much better food nearby.

Get the French fries and all the dips.. also the market salad with chicken is A+

This is one of the worst dinner experience I’ve ever had in New York.The service is just bad.Bad manners, starting from the manager to the waiter.And the food is just bad. Too salty, too oily or just blah!I definitely do not recommend this place.

The restaurant is supposed to be French. However, a good number of dishes are middle eastern or north African spiced.

First visit and enjoyed the chill vibe and fun crowd. Service was a bit confused with my second course served with my guests first course. And there is truly a hazardous floor covering…I tripped on entry and no less than two others also either went down or nearly did so.

Wanted to give hostess and manager props for seating arrangements on Easter. Made reservations for outdoor dining but we I arranged table was set up for indoors. With underlying condition, I am very hesitant about in close quarters. Hostess apologized and immediately set up outdoor space. I had the roasted lamb special which was delicious. Grandchildren devoured their pancakes. Drinks were also on point.

We had a wedding party here, and they overcharged us by thousands. We told them repeatedly and explicitly prior to theevent and even during the event not to serve drinks off the menu and they went ahead and did so. Awful shady tactics.

Food and service is very good , very polite staff. Unfortunately we order a fry egg sandwich which states on the menu is sided the with fries, however we were told that the dish were coming out with salad because fries had run out, however we could order fries as a side dish for $10 dollars. Didn’t make much sense to us.

Best Hamburger Ive had in the US so far.

Cody Restaurant and Bar on the corner of Greenwich St & N Moore St. Served a variety of Starters, Mains & Desserts with Vegetarian options. Vast wine & spirits menu. Cocktails with names such as Running Man & Beauty & the Brut.I had Escargot starters, spaghetti in mushroom broth Mains & Pumpkin Creme Brulee. Excellent food.The toilets were clean & fragrant but small & narrow - wondered how larger people would manage this space.

Friends and I caught up here. We had the poached shrimp, lobster tail, a dozen east coast oysters, steak au poivre & a really nice red. Sat out front and enjoyed the weather. Will definitely be back.

Went for brunch and the service was extremely slow even though the restaurant was nowhere close to capacity. Kitchen seemed to be in shambles as most of our food was over cooked on top of taking too long to arrive. Over cooked eggs, brunt pancakes and when asked if they can turkey bacon they said yes but instead served us sliced up turkey breast. Seemed to be a lot of staff walking around the dining area but not actively doing anything. Maybe cut back on them and add help to the back of the house.

Yves was my absolutely favorite restaurant until yesterday. The quality of the food just went downhill…they offer a different steak for there frites which definitely doesn’t worth 55$. It was a bone in before with full flavors and peppercorn sauce…no more that sauce either and the new one is boneless with no taste at all. Dont change your items on the menu that ppl went to your restaurant!I addressed my disappointment for our waiter who was nice and said he will tell the manager..I saw he went to him but the manager was absolutely careless not even come to our table and say something. Horrible attitude.Don’t be afraid from unhappy clients, if you want to go uphill again learn from unhappy loyal clients. They are honest and want to help you.

Good food and great service. Can get very loud inside if busy; sit outside if the weather permits and you are wanting to carry on a conversation.

Stopped in for our first time today and really enjoyed brunch. My husband had the steak and eggs and I had the braised chicken meatballs over parsnip purée. Very satisfying meal in a warm environment. Great light as well.

I walked in and sat down and was about to order. They asked me if I wanted a glass of still or sparkling. I said sparkling. Just then, I realized I had a conflict, so I got up to leave but felt badly that they just poured an 8 oz glass of sparking. I gave them a $20 and said “just give me $15”, thinking that paying $5 was probably generous to a fault, but whatever.After waiting for 15 minutes for the manager — yes, the manager — to magically convert my $20 into change from the back, he looked at me and said “it’s $9”.I sat for 60 seconds and life sometimes happens and you get pulled away. A classier place would have said “don’t worry about it”. I have lived around the corner for three years, but for whatever reason, I had never tried the place.I hate it when I try new things and this sort of garbage happens.

The artichokes were very good, and the service was just right, not too little, not too much.

The food is good and they have fancy, 100 dollar soap in the bathroom but the portions are outrageously small for the price. Like, I get it, its fashionable and expected to serve a scoop of potatoes and charge 30 dollars for it but this aint Gramercy Tavern so slow your roll.

GOt the octo as an app and the special and the tuna.. omg, great and 100% worth it...Also a couple weeks ago this bald bartender served me Some AMAZING DRINKS.. OMG, AMAZING, FRESH!!! I have had some great times, not disappointed.

Literally no customer service. We had to ask the servants to take away finished plates, while there were bunch chatting/ playing with phones right next to our table. Maybe its the room being too dark and they could not see weve finished 🤷‍ ♀️ And the wait for dishes was super long - spent at the least one hour on waiting for food, disaster for a weekday dinner. Food was definitely not the level Id expect for this price tag - maybe they didnt choose the best they have for restaurant week menu. The desserts were good though, which earned the stars here. One appetizer was extremely salty (it was still edible with the bread of another appetizer) and the other was extremely fishy (it could barely be eaten with pickled cucumbers). After one bite, I couldnt eat it anymore. ). The main dishes are ordinary chicken steak and sea fish (its also fishy, ​​but the lemon on the chicken steak is edible). The puffs and ice cream are delicious (especially when compared to the first two). 2 stars for dessert and location (Tribeca sunset skyline is beautiful). The overall dining experience is very bad. There is basically no service. I have to chase the waiter to remove the plates and get water. No one cleans the table when it is dirty. There were several waiters standing next to our table chatting and playing with their phones, acting as if we didnt exist. The waiting time for the food was also very long. The wait time for the 3 dishes was at least an hour, and the 3 dishes took 2 and a half hours (if the first dish was too unpalatable, the plates would be removed in less than 10 minutes).

I came to this city to have a great experience, but it was the opposite, I didnt like that my family and friends had their dishes ready and I, who had a birthday, still had nothing, I cant say about the staff, but about the kitchen, I think They should serve their clients better, the tourists, the food was a little good, but not that much...... They should take care of their kitchen staff, they are very backward...
