Matto Espresso

Love it! Daily go-to when visiting NYC. Super, easy to use just download app, preload it, pay and pick up your order. They are always done super fast. I love their $3 menu. And they have a buy 10, get one free! Cool perks.

A small cafe on Lexington Avenue. The coffee is very tasty. The prices are cheap. I really like ordering from the app because it also helps a lot.

Delicious desserts and sandwiches with a nice coffee or late. I especially loved their ice banana late. Very friendly staff, and an overall nice Sunday fun day experience for us.

I ordered the coffee cake on Doordash for delivery and the description didnt mention that it co rained walnuts. My sister had a nut allergy and she ate half before realizing there was walnuts in it. Shame on you.

The coffee was really bad-tasting and burnt, and a medium cup was the size of a small. The worst part was that it was barely half full! It was truly the worst coffee of my life! Two coffees with an almond croissant and a slice of cake cost $17! So why falsely claim everything is $2.50? Its really not worth it!👎🏻👎🏻

This is literally the best coffee in nyc. Their affordable prices and quality is something rare in this city. Extremely recommend!!

I just tried for the first time and theyre super affordable but good food and drinks. I ordered a multi grain croissant sandwich and a banana pomegranate shake. I ordered from the app and the food was ready when I came for it. They even put a mint size chocolate cookie.

There’s an extremely rude tattooed guy who puts the pride community to shame with his attitude and rude service, refuses service very arrogantly as if he owns the space. I’d much rather try the other locations that have always been wonderful

The main thing here is ordering in the app. The app says 1-2 min wait, and that is never actually the case. This location needs more employees because there was only one when I went, and she was overwhelmed. It was impossible for her to make the online and in-person orders in a timely fashion. Additionally, the space itself is very small and not meant to have more than a couple people waiting in it at one time. It gets crowded and uncomfortable when there are multiple people waiting to both order in person and waiting for their online order.

App said wait time was 1-2 min. Ended up waiting for more than 10 min so I went to work late. Wrote an email complained. No responses whatsoever.Their prices went up last year, but their quality didn’t improve. In fact, their drinks tasted worse than before. Their flavored coffee & matcha tasted artificial and I couldn’t even finish a small cup. After using all my loaded money on Matto, I’ll uninstall this crap app.

Vegan options for food pastries and milk alternatives and so nicely priced - great coffee and service with a smile. Coffee is a chocolatey dar roast and delicious

Went to a few other branches, but this one definitely has the best latte and mocha so far!

Amazing coffee shop in NYC - super cheap (lots of items for $2.50!) and quick service if ordering off the app. Servers are super friendly, and both food and coffees are delicious!Strongly recommend the Iced Banana Date Latte, and the Multigrain Omelette Croissant!

Quality coffee, reasonable price, and good service.

Got an Iced Strawberry Latte and an Avocado Croissant Sandwich for less than $6. They were delicious and filling, highly recommend. The people are very nice and mobile orders are done very quickly.

My favorite coffee stop in nyc! The food and coffee is high-quality and delicious yet still extremely affordable (most pastries and coffee are 2.50 through the app, 3.50 in person). You still get a ton of menu options and customization too! Loving the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake and I appreciate all the available add-ons like oat milk and such. Vegan-friendly, gluten-free-friendly… some sustainable packaging and coffee accessories too (thank you Matto for caring about the environment). Love the attention to detail, like getting a free little cookie with your hot latte. Excellent service at this location as well— amazingly friendly and warm staff. Can’t say enough nice things

A few months ago this rating would’ve been a 5 but recently they’ve really raised the prices on some items. Ruins the whole allure of 2.50 drinks but what can you do.
