It is nice to start the morning with good coffee and delicious sweets))) 🎂🍰🥧🍪This is the place where you can start a new day like that !!!!💐 Enjoy, the atmosphere of Bar is just for this!!!You should try the Salmon Croissant, Almond Croissant and Chocolate Croissant!!! Amazing 😘😘😘😘
Great place to get breakfast, lunch, coffee, hangout or have a cozy date! Loved the versatility of this cafe. I got an oat flat white with a rugelach pastry (warmed up) - it was delicious. The flat white was strong tasting, just the way I like it. They have plenty of seating so you will almost always find a spot, the ambience is lively but not loud, they have free wifi and a restroom - which makes it an ideal place to work out of. I cant wait to go back and try their breakfast!!
Great friendly staff. Cashier Jaymes B was really nice and patient. It’s expensive coffee, but the ice aromas are better than frappuccinos and the coffee comes with a cute square of chocolate. The coffee/iced beverages may be too sweet for some people. The serving sizes are larger than in Israel. The bathroom was very clean. There was plenty of seating space.
Compared to other places it was a little bit pricey. Good location for breakfast and coffee which was really great! Fast service. crowded in peak hours.
Nice place to chill and get coffee or hot beverages and food in Wall Street/WTC area when other places are closed. I feel relaxed. Can do work there but not sure what the traffic is like during the day.
Great coffee and non-coffee drinks. I hate to say this, but it might be better than Starbucks. I love how they give you a little piece of chocolate when you pay. Thats not just any chocolate. Its excellent.
Their Drinks are Everything!!! The Hot Chocolate is rich and the Chai Latte as well was so delicious definitely recommend those drinks and the breakfast sandwich was very freshly made and crispy crossiant
Israeli coffee chain serving coffees, teas, pastries, breakfasts, sandwiches and snacks. Great light and space for coffee dates and quick work meetings.
Great to see how the business has grown. 2 years ago, we were staying near 72th street and we meet Aroma. Now, again in NYC we walked about 45min to the previous location hoping to have some amazing coffee and an incredible salmon bagel. It was closed! but the smile returned as we read that they changed to church street. Next day, we came directly and found a bigger place, same amazing service and our awesome salmon bagels.
The counter staff I dealt with was a little rude but the food was great and so was the hot chocolate. I would definitely come back and I hope this is a chain I see in my hometown.
Nice, clean! Smooth, not bitter, coffee. Didnt try the food, but looked tasty. Only giving 4 stars because they only put 2 shots of espresso in a sizes and upcharge for additional.
Great variety and the coffee is best!Large variety of salads and sandwiches. You will enjoy this place.
I walk by every morning, but finally ventured in today. I had a delicious egg and cheese croissant and iced cappuccino...delightful. i will be making this a weekly tradition.
I love this place. There’s variety in the seating and so much natural light. I love meeting my clients here, having a little tea, coffee or got chocolate and creating some special magic :)
Overpriced and they can’t even cook toast well. Ordered avocado toast and they handed me a $14 buck piece of soft bread. Very disappointed.
If you want to try salad and cooffe its good place
Great coffee and food, but service is a little slow Id you need a quick coffee and snack
An amazing Place to grab breakfast and Lunch and sit and enjoy and the staff is so Humble and fast.
Im a coffee fanatic! This coffee was so good. I mean it taste as good as it looks.
This coffee shop is in the Financial District of Manhattan, near the World Trade Center. I have only eaten their once but several people who have eaten their more often agree with me. Its a great place to go for breakfast or lunch.Aroma is much larger than the other coffee shops in the area that I am familiar with, so it doesnt get too crowded. The breakfast or lunch items are typically made when ordered, so service can be a little slow sometimes during peak times. Prices seem to be in line with the other coffee shops in the area. The Coffee is excellent. I prefer it to Starbucks, which is too bitter for my taste. The shakshuka and the egg dishes are great and come with very large and very good side dishes. My main complain is that it is quite noisy, in part because its right off the street on a very noisy street right near the world trade center, If you want to work there, I would definitely bring head phones. However, in general Aroma is one of my favorite coffee shop/ bar and is recommended.
Pretty delicious options and you get a little chocolate bar with your coffee. The California Chicken Sandwich is flavorful and hearty. Its chicken two ways: chicken breast and an fried egg. Decent price. They also have free water so you can wash down the coffee taste after drinking a cup. Overall, good choice. Prices are fair.
Amazing place. I go there almost 3-4 times a week for coffee. Their hot chocolate is awesome. Make sure you ask for extra hot - hot chocolate. Their food options are also very good. Plenty of seating options. Quick service. Staff is very friendly. Make sure you get receipt for restroom code to access.
Good coffee very good choose if pastries and breakfast meals, defenetly recommend for breakfast or coffee breaks.
I really liked this spot. Theres a lot more available besides the coffee (which is also pretty good). They have some really great Mediterranean food options, and there are plenty of healthy choices too. They also have some refreshing drink options, that are not just all sugar, but rather have flavor, which really are perfect for the summer heat.
Absolute best place for coffee and breakfast downtown! Their espressos and Americanos wake you up! AND their food is always always delicious! Try the Shakshuka! AND if you’re eating in they actually respectfully serve on plates and actual ceramic mugs and real utensils!! Great space to get some work done too!Recommended.
It is simple and good. Not the best, but definitely not bad. Going around the region, its probably one of the best choices for quick breakfast. Croissant sandwiches are a little expensive for how simple they are, but overall theyre good.
The hot chocolate here is unbelievable. I normally only drink Mexican hot chocolate, and am pretty picky about my hot chocolates, but the one at this espresso bar is some of the best Ive ever had! Highly recommend. And theres fresh squeezed orange juice, huge plus. One of my favorite stops in New York
I had a cup of Chai Latte here and it is sweet and rich. There is big lunch crowd when I visited. They have a huge food menu although I did not get to try any food here. The price for coffee is comparable to Starbucks but the atmosphere is more bustling. Would like to try their food one day!
This place has a great breakfast and coffee! Also the little chocolate treat is perfect. If there is a line it usually goes quite quick. Ample seating and they don’t mind if you have computers
Exceptionally bad in multiple ways.1) the food taste bad and tastes cheap (look at the pic and judge for yourself)2) the sandwich and lettuce pile was $143) took 15min to get my food4) 10min after I order (dine in), the staff comes by and tell that they are closing in 10min (I still havent gotten my food yet!)Not a chance this place is in business in a year. They do everything wrong
This place has the best hot chocolate I’ve ever tasted. It’s so rich that you have to stir it before you drink it, and it even comes with a tiny bar of chocolate! The service is friendly, but sometimes it can take a while for the drinks to come out.
Drinks and food are good, but they tend to close early if theres no business so dont try to make your way there if you intend to grab a last minute before-dinner snack. Their smoked salmon is really good. Seating is spacious and free wifi - that is until they kick you out for slow business.
If you love paying dine-in restaurant prices for hospital cafeteria food, this is the place for you! This is the second time I’ve eaten here and my $10 BLT came with no lettuce or tomato because they neglected to tell me they were out. The servers were kind but even with free avocado added the sandwich was so bad. Breakfast is equally disappointing: the eggs are so overcooked you could bounce them off the floor.
Terrible service, massively overpriced average food. Avoid. Wrong order on takeout and then nothing but attitude when returned for correct order. Rude staff and completely the wrong approach to service. $10 for a bagel with a wafer thin piece of salmon and half a red onion thickly sliced to accompany one piece of tomato. Rubbish. Dont go.
Decent food and espresso. I ordered the marshpresso after seeing the beautiful picture on their banner. When I received it, it looked nothing like it and was a sugary mess. The eggs on toast was okay, the bread was toasted too much and the eggs were runny, making it very messy.
I’m gonna give it a 5 star because i love this place! This is the place i spent most of my time with when i first came toNew York. Sometimes it’s a little crowded and they don’t clean the tables as soon as possible but still very cozy place.Their ‘California Chicken Sandwich’ is awesome! I love it. Definitely recommend it! Im not vegan but i also like the vegan omelette sandwich.
The best coffee in town, the best sandwich.Have to try it.
Tried aroma espresso bar at 100 Church St and Barclay Place for my afternoon coffee break.Delicious almond milk cappuccino served with one of aroma’s equally delicious small chocolate espresso bits. The facility is modern, bright, and cheerful with knowledgable, personable front desk staff and baristas. My only criticism is that even though they have a full kitchen serving a great array of options for breakfast, lunch, and brunch, they have almost no gluten-free breads or treats. The only things they could offer this afternoon were potato chips and some cookies that looked way too hard to eat.
The food was utterly disgusting. Our expectations were very high as we came it because it looked up to date. I had a BLT and the bread was soggy. My family members had lemonade and it was watered down and simply tasted like lemon water. Another one of us had a cheese danish, it had no flavor and no cheese was found in or on it.
I went for the first time last week and ordered an iced aroma lite..was good. Went back this morning ..ordered a lite again. .but this time for the next 90 min got very sick..with really bad diarrhea and sweating profusely and lightheaded. I ordered a lite cause Im diabetic..and there is no doubt on my mind I wasnt given a lite. It wasnt busy at all at 10:30 am on a saturday so highly unlikely it was a mixup..some guy there just didnt care. Needless to say Ill never go back.
For anyone that knows the chain from other locations I would say swipe left. The food is horrendous to say the list, took the shakshuka and a salad. Portion size is tiny, the falvor taste like it came out of a can and was warmed up just before. This place is absolute discrase for the brand and what is expected.
Great place. Awesome Israeli food. Fresh and made to order.
Love the Chai latte. Cute place and good service. It hey busy though especially in the morning.
Second time in a row i cant get espresso con panna and an excuse is there is no whip cream, and thats not true because i called them right after that and ive been told that they still serve espresso con panna and they have it available!!! Ive been to their many locations and they always have it, all the time, but seems like they are just lazy at this location!!! Very disappointed!!!
To be honest the place is very dirty. The tables are sticky I had to tell them to clean the table the guy came after 3 times that I ask for. The bathrooms are filthy dirty. The food gets only 2 stars.I eat in aroma for many years in different locations and it was very good. But this place very bad.
Love the service and food! +ERecording Artist- Edwin Vazquez
Careful, this place is a ripoff. The turkey BLT sandwich that cost me $11.48 barely contained any turkey. When I complained I was told it has the required 8 oz of meet, which it didnt. They refused to add more meat.
The food is ok, a little expensive since you have to pick it up yourself. The toilets are absolutely yuk. Water and stuffs on the seats.. a nasty trashcan right against the seat. Toilet paper missing. They are going to check though when I notified them
Nice selection of interesting salads.
Everything we taste was dry. They didnt have bread at all. They gave us white dry bread, 2 tiny peaces like its a complimentary, we pay money.I wouldnt recommend.
I ordered California grilled chicken which supposed to have avocado but they served it without. They didnt remember to tell me about running out of avocado until I asked about it. However the staff are very friendly and brought me some tasty fried mushroom. Their coffee is pretty good and I like the atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
I love this place. Great coffee, nice desserts, good food. Would come here every day if I worked on the area.
Love it its was great the atmosphere the food and the coffe
The orange juice is delicious. I thought tomato soup was like the pictures they have on the outside where they shows 3 soups but its not like the picture. It was ok but I was expecting something else.
Overpriced mediocre food, super generic. Do not order any of the lunch sandwiches. Id recommend getting ANY deli sandwich instead for a fraction of the price.
Aroma is lit, plus the employees are all super nice and helpful. Just don’t order any Halva Pastries, you need to leave those for me!
Good breakfast, some classic items, some a bit original like this ‘tomato soup’ with an egg. Overall a good experience although the tables could be a bit cleaner.
Coffee is good, food is ok. But they do have places to charge your phone. And they give you a piece of chocolate with your coffee!
The food is a little pricey and the coffee was different but overall really tasty. Definitely recommend!
Spacious spot with ample seating. Drinks are good, coded bathroom for customers in a financial district desert.
Good coffee just always feel like this shop needs a really good clean!!!
Nice little spot. Quick service, food and coffee were decent and the place was clean. Cant complain.
Lovely place. Not to much overcrowded during our visit. Avocado toast is so good! Recommend👍
Cant stand places that make it excessively difficult for you to use their bathrooms. You need to buy something first and then use the code on the receipt. If its urgent and you want to go beforehand, you are out of luck.
Sorry, but matcha latter is horrible. Love the fact that its served in a ceramic cup though, three starts for that. Might come back, but definitely not for matcha.
The food is good, and not pricy. The hot chocolate is truly amazing here. Love it.
Popular Israeli coffee chain comes to NYC. Fantastic coffee and desserts. Meals are good as well
I loved this coffee shop! Close to Chambers subway station and WTC. They give you a little chocolate with your coffee. It made my day!
Slow service but ok food. The staff are nice but place is dirty often. They used to be yummy it now it’s ok.
Best coffee we had in NYC so far! made to order double shot cappuccino awesome! cleaned me out...
Big space with lots of seating. Freshly made food all day. On the day I went they opened 30 minutes late though.
Food and coffee here are really good. Its popular though, so dont expect quiet nor an easy to find seat.
Great hot chocolate!!! It is made with real chocolate pieces!!! Just in time for the weather change. Dont forget to stir it well!!
Tasteless food, undercooked, soggy and on top of that arrogant employees. Try at your own risk, worst breakfast in New York.
Good food and decent portions for lunch. My family of five ate for just shy of $10 per person.
Great tomatosoup and coffee.
Every time im in this area, I make sure to stop by. I love the coffee here and the little piece of chocolate is such a nice touch.
This was good. A strange way of service. Its probably targeted more at locals. Nice coffee. I had a turkey club.
The marshspresso is the most ridiculous, completely perfect drink a coffee shop has ever created. Do yourself a favor and grab one.
Great for a good quick bite and delicious coffee. Some Gluten free options!
Nice place a little pricey, but the food is good and there is plenty of seating.
Gave 2 stars due to the nice customer service. But had a macchiato small and worst macchiato ever. Never again will I get a coffee from them
Excellent coffee you can find only here!
Great food.. thick slices of turkey. Fabulous coffee! Smooth flavor..
Just like Aroma in Israel, the best kind of coffee! I wish there was a branch in Brooklyn.
Healthy Mediterranean style food. Standard NY prices. Tasty/not bitter espresso.
I love aroma! Amazing sandwiches, almost always amazing coffee, and great atmosphere.
Realy good brewed coffee and delicious chocolate croissant. Loved this place.
Pricy, food was fresh and awesome
Got order wrong and did not refund, the man taking our order was busy in another conversation with his colleague, too busy to even listen to customers. Will not be back again, poor service.
Great place for breakie and prices were good. Food freshly made for you.
Loved it! Yummy french toasts. Only wish they had pancakes too.
A little pricey, but nice atmosphere fresh good quality food Friendly staff.
Their specialty Aroma coffee is delicous!
Italians do it better, but if you cant find a Italian bar here youll have a good coffee
Professional and helpful staff, my coffee lid broke when I tried to put it on but overall wonderful experience!
I LOVE AROMA COFFEE!!! Everytging is yummy there. Staff are extremely nice and helpful.
Love the area full of stores, restaurants, bars, historical sites, skyscrapers, ALL forms of Transportation & SO Much More!!! The Place to BE!!!
Great eggs on toast.
Good menu and portion sizes are appropriate. Simple and tasty food.
It was ok a little price for my taste. Is more like a cafe and sandwich.
I usually get a tea and a sandwich from here. Prices are very reasonable and affordable for a place like Manhattan.
Great coffe and grear tasty gluten free food choices
Next to one world trade center, good for quick bite but average food & drinks for the price.
Nice place...... coffee is not the big deal...
Bad service, no tissue in public space, the waiter gave me a wrong password for the restroom, and they didn’t give me receipts!
This has to be the coolest place in town not to mention a freaking great cup of espresso
Great coffee place with good coffee, interesting menu and friendly staff
Great place. Nicer Atmosphere than at surrounding Starbucks.
Good coffee. Close to the memorial. Clean... Efficient. With bathroom and wifi
Quick service, helpful staff, good atmosphere and awesome food!
Nice coffee, excellent croissant
Good espresso but the sandwiches leave a lot be to desired.
Great place to take a coffee :)
Food and drink are good. A bit pricey. Can be very crowded.
Try their Iced Aroma IMMEDIATELY! Puts Dunkins Coffee Coolatta to shame.
Its nice and calm and they have great hit chocolate.
Affordable, fast, delicious. Nice place to stay or take out.
Great coffee and lots of options for different diets ( vegan, dairy free, gluten free, etc). Tasty pastries!
My Wife is vegan and they have several options for her. Great food
Great food, great environment, and a cozy spot to have some food.
Excellent cappuccino, for people looking for something more than just Starbucks.
A little bit over price
Large location, okay for a decent coffee and a bit more, but not so much ambiance...
The food very nice and very comfortable when you sitting there
Best place for a business meeting over a delightful cup of coffee.
Good food, good coffe, good service and resonareas pricing
The coffee was quite good, as well as the egg and cheese crescent.
Panini was horrible and chicken salad was horrible too. Do not order any food here
Cafeteria with many pastry and comfort food options in FiDi. Friendly staff
Loved the place. Great food and great atmosphere
Nice israeli coffee house with lots of food items at fair prices
Pretty good. Only one flavor of coffee, which is disappointing.
Had a Bagel and coffee. Both great price was decent
Coffee was decent. Some good treats too.
Excellent coffee. Try the Aroma Coffee. Absolutely delicious.
Just like the cafes in Israel. This one is more spacious though!
Frozen drink was difficult to actually drink. Tasted good though
Had breakfast, the food is great and the chai was better.
What could be better than a warm halva pastry? Nothing, the answer is nothing.
Excellent place for some good food and nice atmosphere
Great coffee and the best hot chocolate ever.
Excellent breakfast and very reasonably priced.
The aroma special is amazing. Definitely coming back for that.
The best iced coffee and bureka money can buy!
Good food
Not as good as it has been in the past. Much reduced menu. Sorry about this change.
Prompt and good service, free WiFi. Tasty chocolate.
Tourist trap - lower quality than you’d expect given the price. Won’t be returning.
Its a $$ placeAnd the ratio quantity of food for the price is pretty bad.
For israelies who dont mind to pay extra to get the same taste as home.
I love your iced coffee. When are you coming to the midwest?
Menu : Ice Aroma Coffee0. Price value : 31. Close to original : 42. Freshness : 43. Flavor : 34. Taste : 45. Sweetness : 3 / medium6. Service : 3 / not special7. Interior & Deco : 3*Out of 5
Comfortable place to lounge in the morning before starting your day.
This is my favorite spot because of the excellent coffee and *delicious food*, the prices are very reasonable. There is always room to sit and where to charge your cellphone/PC. The staff is very kind and helpful.Even the toilet is always clean and I visit the place at least twice a week.
Clean, with a minimalist decor. Big cozy booths. Food came beautifully presented and well prepared. Hot beverages come at perfect temperature. Definitely will come again.
Tasty bureka, good european coffe.
Great sandwiches and coffee with quick service!
$8 egg and cheese...good coffee. Pass on food.
Nice place. Youll pay a premium for everything
The coffee had a nice little surprise. I was wondering why they gave me a spoon with my coffee. So I am drinking this nice smooth blend of heaven and when I get to the bottom there is this smooth lump of cream and swirl of fine chocolate to scoop. This is foodies delight!!! The service was awesome !
Everything is a little nicer than your traditional cafe. Someone will prepare a custom sandwich or panini. Hand-tossed salads and soup. Dont forget to grab a coffee. Everything may take a few minutes longer, worth the wait. They bake their own breads and pastries.
Great coffee and delicious sweet dishes!
Great food they bake their own bread. Good price for what you get too. Edit: meh customer service. I ordered something, paid, and was told a few minutes later that they were all out of what I ordered. That was fine, I understand, but then they only let me substitute it for something else that was the *exact* same price... leaving me with 4 choices I didnt really care for.
Classy and cool. Coffee is good too.
Not really a coffee drinker, but I love coming here for food. Whatever I had from their menu was absolutely satisfying. I had classic smoked salmon sandwich last time I went there. Ingredients were fresh and on point. You can really taste all those flavors mixing in your mouth. I rarely experience that in chain restaurants. Staff is pleasant and efficient. One thing I absolutely disliked is they have this cellphone charging unit and they are charging for it! Really?! I can think of several reasons why would you want to charge something like this, but I still think its lame. Its almost like charging for tap water!
Delicious croissants and very good coffee, everything served in/on real mugs and plates. Ample seating. Quiet atmosphere. Very nice coffee shop.
The food and customer service was great. The employees working the cashier were also very sweet. However, as my family and I were eating, an employee climbed onto a table and stood on it with his dirty shoes. He cleaned the wall, then got down and left. He didn’t even return to wipe the place he walked on. Any customer who entered and sat at that seat, would be eating on an extremely dirty and unhygienic table. If you’re thinking about coming to eat here, consider this a warning.
My morning coffee place! Love their hot chocolate - one of my favorites in the city. Staff are always friendly too! Tried a few salads and sandwiches also - very good. Cant go wrong with alfajores - yum!
Cool place good choice of healthy food
Great coffee options. Long wait.
Nice coffee place if you are not a Starbucks person. We went close to closing time and it was quiet. Great for couples in the evening for a cup after a good meal
Love this place! Food is fresh , fast and delicious. It is a bit pricey though. I really love the Power Breakfast. It gets really crowded at lunch time but they move really quickly. There is also lots of seating.
Good coffee, good food and nice staff
Good hot chocolate! Quality coffee and food. Its a great coffee shop with attention to the little details- plenty of outlets to work/charge your phone, water tap, and they serve a little chocolate with every cup!
A lovely place. A bit pricey but excellent service. You must try their ginger turmeric tea. It is amazing.
There used to be another aroma by washingtom Sq Park but that closed. I came here coming from that and theyre very similar. Awesome food!
Best Mocha I ever tasted in my life!!!
Amazing coffee and awesome avacado toast
I have all my coffee chats and informational interviews at this place. food is good, coffee is above average and the small chocolate that comes with your drink is the cherry on top. Pro tip: if you work down in fidi, check to see if your company gets a discount.
This place has the best cafe au lait Ive ever had. I dont usually get them because I dislike brewed coffee (I prefer espresso), but I decided to do something different from my usual cappuccino, and Im glad I did! It was not only palatable, but actually good. The prices werent bad at all. I liked the openness of the space, and the staff was quick. Im only visiting, but if I lived in NYC, Id be a regular.
They have good coffee and great collection of food choices. It also has really like seatings but it gets loud there so working here is not the best choice. But if you have some good quality noise cancelling headphones you should be fine.
Good coffee, loved their turkish coffee.
Great pleasurable soups, smoothies, coffee drinks, and sandwiches.
Nice coffee shop. Good vibe. I bought just an iced coffee. So I dont know how the food is. Good price for my iced coffee. Clean uncrowded and has wifi and spots to charge your electronic devices.
Came in the morning. Very good breakfast!
Food is amazing!!!! 😍 visited here by chance when I visited ny and I had to go back before leaving as it was so tasty! Only down fall is in the pricing but it is worth the money!
Watered down coffee and a chai tea latte that tastes like whip cream
Good place to stop for a quick breakfast.
Far from as good as the originals. The space is huge and the menu is pretty overprices but the Iced Aroma with cookies in it was a pretty good cookies and coffee milkshake! Not too crowded and staff was friendly.
Love the comfortable interior and healthy delicious choices. Almond croissants are the best Ive ever tried. No wonder they run out of them so fast. Their bathroom situation can get a bit iffy. Probably due to the periodic tourist invasions
Best cafe l, cookies abd breackfast
Excellent coffe and exceptional food.
Food tasted great at a decent price
The soup we got would have been nice if it came with bread. The staff did not tell us beforehand that there was a bread shortage and served us a tomato sauce with egg hoping we wouldn’t notice the lack of bread.
Tasty and quick coffee. Nice staff and lots of seating. The place is on ritual so that’s also a big plus!
The place is very roomy, and I like the open floor-plan - it feels very relaxed and is a great oasis to escape to in the financial district. Although its called an espresso bar, they do offer some quick bites on their food menu (mostly a variety of sandwiches). Id recommend trying their salmon sandwich. Prices here are a bit steep though (half sandwich is around $7 and a full sandwich is around $10). Overall - liked the space, enjoyed the food, bummed about the price.Tip: they have these little pay-per-charge stations where you can recharge your devices. Useful if youre in a pinch and the battery is running low.
Great fresh food. I love their sandwiches and coffee. Staff are very nice and friendly.
Great quick breakfast and coffee. We stopped by on our way to 9/11 Memorial and Freedom Tower observatory and it was very close to both. Also had lots of locals coming thru on their way to work. Tasty fresh food prepared by order.
