I’ve always walked past this place but wish I had tried their sandwiches out sooner!!!! I ordered the chipotle chicken + avocado sandwich and it was AMAZING!! It’s a pretty hefty sized sandwich - I ate in one go but you could probably split this into two for a light lunch. Fillings were fresh and piled up high. The bread was also pillowy soft and crusty on the outside. Sandwiches are made to order and the staff are so friendly! This place will definitely be on rotation going forward 🥰🥰It’s takeout only but fine as it’s a grab and go place!

Took about 5-6 min for someone to even acknowledge me waiting to order. When she finally did, I ordered a fresh celery juice. After waiting another 10 min with only one person ahead of me she rang me up and told me it would be $16 when on the menu it says $10. When I asked her, she said because celery is not on the menu?! She should have told me that before making it!! I would never have continued with the order and paid $16 for a cup of fresh celery juice when it’s almost double just cause it’s NOT on the menu?! Honestly that’s ridiculous. Maybe tell your employees to communicate to your customers the price if it’s different than what’s posted on your menu.

Our first 2 hours in NYC EVER...wanted a snack and hubs wanted a wrap. They recommended the chicken Caesar wrap and hes beyond impressed. For $10 you get a perfect Caesar Salad in every bite because the sammich guy chops the SH*T out of the innerds before he wraps it for you. The young man checking us out was so kind and reassured me everything was made fresh everyday and theyre 24hrs. We will be back multiple times this week.

Open 24 hrs. They speak spanish. A lot of options of cold and hot food, also beverages, fruit, snacks.

Oh my God. One of the best deli in Manhattan.I had fish sandwich from this deli.Delicious and perfectly made. Never had before like that. I would say, Must try once.

I just needed a plastic fork since I’ve been starving for hours and my blood sugar was already low enough, I rushed and went inside to this store and asked for one single plastic fork, they literally asked for 5 cents🤦🏻‍♀️ and since I didn’t have any cents, they didn’t give me any fork. That is the most stupid thing that’s ever happened to me in the city! thank god “just salad”, which was just a few blocks away, gave me whatever I needed!You should be aware of that how small acts will effect your business. I will never think this place is a nice and kind environment whenever I pass through it anymore, while I always remember and keep purchasing things from the stores that have nicer employees and managers.yes, all because of a single fork, tells enough.

I love this place. Get lunch here almost every day. Delicious deli sandwiches, hot or cold, incredibly quick service, efficient and friendly staff. Prices are very fair given the area, quality, and quantity of food youre getting. 6/5 stars

What an excellent customer service and excellent breakfast 👌 😀 ... I am a breakfast type of girl and I been going to this deli every morning for over 3 months now! They listen to what exactly you want and even though im extra particular about how I want my bagel toasted , scooped out and 1 slice of cheese and lite on the butter ... I have never felt like a bother... Mo is def the top Chef and Jenny its always on point with the coffee and service!Thankful for an affordable deli around this pricey area 🙌 🙏

This place is awesome. Fantastic fresh breakfast sandwiches. The staff are really nice, and fun to interact with. They are very proud of their product. Prices are great too. They have great healthy products for sale and tasty stuff to for snacks too. Bacon and Egg on a Bagel was awesome.

Horrible. Don’t got here, dirty. There was a rat that ran around the interior of the building. Unless you want to catch something don’t go here.

I have only been in the neighborhood for 3 weeks but even on my first visit the staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful and because of them I COME BACK. I now get my bi weekly burgers from them. They are juicy and prepared the way I request them. I by mistake went to SHAKE SHACK...omg...burnt burger, not the condiments I requested and churlish reception upon receiving. Its just nice coming to a place where you are treated with respect and concern.While waiting I noticed they treat everyone kindly....one would think u were in the south....pure southern hospitality.THANKS.

The best thing they open 24hrs, I went there around 4 a.m and It was opened. I got some stuff, the guy the employees were so kind and so nice. Fast at the same time 👍🏻.

Brought a turkey sandwich from here, it was mostly lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. The turkey looked scrapes.

Show some respect for your customers when they order something.It was my first and the last time to order breakfast from this place.Because we work very hard to be able to spend our money on the food we like and we sure dont have a money tree where we pluck money from to waste.Hope I got my point across!

Great deli, went in several times and the staff were friendly and a nice crew. Had a couple of sandwiches and they were great, top stuff.

My review is espresso only. Espresso isnt bad - not as good as the boutique shops like Perk, Joe, & Grumpy - but a better price so a good deal. And they pull the shots faster here. But they only have paper cups.

Love this place. My son and I go here every Saturday morning right off the Jitney. Great food, coffee and service. Always friendly and and warm smile to start your day.

NEVER EAT FROM. Horrible business. They have messed up my order over 10 times. They mess up in person orders and online orders. They use profanities and derogatory terms to insult theyre customers. Go to any other corner deli!

Stayed nearby for 4 nights and ended up eating here 3 times. Great Pastrami grilled right to order right in front of you - try a Reuben or a Venice burger for under $10.Google says they close at 10, but the shopfront says 24 hours except Sunday morning.

We stayed at the hotel at the the other side of the street and i had a Cali Wrap every day. Cause its sooo good.

A great deli located in an area of high priced eateries. Friendly staff centered around grill master Moe, who serves up the best egg-ham-cheese-croissant sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. His burgers aren’t bad either. Love the quantity and quality for the money.

Customer Service is fantastic. Always get my lunch from here since its near my job and food is always fresh and good. Service is fast and theyre very accommodating. Great group of guys!

If you want to feel JUDGED and ignored, this is the place, kids. The Fat*ss making the sandwiches has no clue about how to run a line and the nasty cashier acts like she wants to CUT YOU.Ive never had a sandwich here cause every time I go in it feels like no orders are being taken. Stand around and get ignored - thats what theyre serving.Monday at lunch we were all standing in line and waiting and Fat*ss looks at us, and instead of asking whos next tells us to get out of the way he needs to see the line. . . . We were the line you dumb idiot.This morning Fat*ass was chatting with his friend, looked directly at me - made eye contact and without missing a beat turned back to keep chatting up his friend.I confess I had a little New Yorker (LOOK RIGHT AT ME AND DONT TAKE MY ORDER! A**HOLE) fit so he talked shit about me to everyone in the store as I left. Ive been in, including this morning, exactly 3X. Very nice people working there. This part of Manhattan is usually full of NPCs. So its nice when you have the opportunity to talk to the staff who come from latin america. Food is good and normal prices.

Came for lunch while staying at Pod 39. My cheeseburger was delicious and my girlfriend loved the ham and cheese on a Kaiser roll. Menu has everything and the people were very nice and welcoming. Its nice to go somewhere where the people are very kind and the food is delicious.

The cook has a terrible sarcastic attitude. He got my order incorrect (bacon, egg, provolone cheese) when first being ordered he repeated bacon egg and cheese back to me and i said correct because that is what I ordered. Just to later find out he gave me American cheese. I went back and politely told him it was incorrect and he aggressively told me it was because I was on the phone. He yelled out salt and pepper in which i said yes but when then the sandwich was done he barely raised his voice to say so and started speaking about me in Spanish to the cashier mot knowing I know spanish. Blaming that me texting was the reason why I did not hear him the second time because nothing was playing in my headphones. Customer service was horrendous especially to be talking about your customers in a language you think they do not understand. I will NEVER go back there. Btw the sandwiches aren’t even good its just cheaper than anything around.

Dirty. Kitchen area is filthy. Saw insects crawling on wall near grill. Prices posted dont represent what you will pay. Posted menu and price list is out of date. They also charge a fee for using a credit card. Sandwiches contain little meat on big slices of bread.

Nothing like fighting through a pandemic. I appreciate this place more for keeping its doors open even at the height of the pandemic. Ive been wanting to write this for a long time. Place is great for Bfast and old school sandwiches. Kept the essential workers fed! We recommend our techs to go here when doing service in the area.

A quiet place to study at night. The soundtrack is always relaxing, not loud and obnoxious like some other coffee shops. They provide a wide selection of beverages, eatery options, as well as grab and go snacks. If you are in Midtown east and want to escape the jam packed Starbucks walk a block from Grand central and enjoy some coffee in a truly beautiful neighborhood.

Wow, first time i was here the food was decent but the service was decent.i Figured ill come back for a 2nd time and and the food got worse the staff cant follow a simple direction !!!! I said no Cheese, and still they put cheese. And then people get sick !!!!! how careless can you be!

Rotten, rotten, rotten service, no greeting, no thank you, poor range of bubble tea. Somehow couldnt find the list of flavours for the bubble tea and the cashier woman was so rude yesterday morning. I like Cafe Bene but their K-town outlet is much better in terms of seating and availability of food and drinks. Shut this store, unless you replace the staff and raise service standards here.

Really poor customer service from the AM cashier. Was in this morning (with no one else in the store) and she stopped twice to do other things while I was trying to pay. This happens quite frequently. Seems like they don’t care about customers.

How do you throw vegetables on plain cream cheese and have the audacity to call it veggie cream cheese. This is the worst bagel I ever had! First and last time I go to this place.

I ordered a bacon and cheese burger and fries combo for takeout.I think the total cost was about $10.In this high-priced Manhattan, the taste and volume at this price was enough to make me want to come back again.It was a combo menu that was listed on the table, so maybe it was for a limited time only? Maybe it is.It was a hearty burger with crispy bacon, cheese and vegetables, and I was able to enjoy the flavor and texture, probably because the surface of the bun was grilled. The potatoes are also crispy and absolutely delicious. They gave me about 3 bags of ketchup.I took out the hamburger combo, but since its a deli shop, they also had a wide variety of other items such as side dishes, sandwiches, sweets, drinks, and alcohol.

In Rome it would certainly take its name from the dirty foods of various kinds displayed in the display case. The first impression is not the best but after eating a BBQ chicken wrap I can say that it is very good. I had dinner at past 10pm and they were very kind and quick. If youre in these parts, a quick meal is a must!

Everything is great! We have stayed in Pod 39, opposite, and have had breakfast there every day. The workers are very friendly, and the bagels and rolls are delicious! With one we had two for breakfast, and at a very good price. They speak Spanish. Highly highly recommended.

We stayed at the hotel next door and after discovering the place we went for the breakfast of bread with egg, cheese and bacon every morning. It was spectacular and also quite affordable for the area. They speak Spanish and are friendly. We also had dinner a couple of nights and the burger was also very good.
