Bad service. Had me wait almost 40 minutes for 2 drinks and was given no excuse of why it wasn’t made. And when I inquired about why it took so long for the 1 other latte to be made, the response I got was,” Well they are right there, you got them now.” Definitely not the way I was expected to be treated.

Lazy employees, that are busy chit chatting and not doing their work even when lines are long. The employees in this location need basic job training at the least. Some of them are nice, but it’s a hit or miss on who is there when you order. Other Starbucks locations are far better, avoid this one and go to 43rd and 6th or 40th and Broadway. I order Veranda dark roast and every single time I have to remind them after waiting 15 mins, they always forget that people come here to order black coffee as well.

Service was faster than expected for how busy the store was, it has a screen monitor to see when your drink will be ready.Staff was nice, it doesn’t have seating spaces, just order and pick up.

The location is great! There are no in door sitting options but the atmosphere is pretty cool and you can probably stand and have a drink or grab a quick bite here!

The worst customer service ever. I ordered 2 coffee. The guy bad at service. He didn’t understand what I said and give me only one and I waited for it 20 minutes. After I said I ordered 2 and I need to wait again for 20 minutes. He didn’t asked for which name so how can I know which one is mine.

This is good spot to pick up some refreshments and snacks at Times Square. This store is always crowded because of the obvious fact that its located in the most popular destination. Their staff offer their best service no matter how many people walk-in every second. Their service was fast during my visit. This store also has Starbucks souvenirs thats exclusive for NYC.

Better to go to a slower coffee shop. I ordered my matcha via the app and expected it to be ready for pickup. However, I had to wait 30 minutes and missed my train. It was a waste of time.Edit: Simple orders were prioritized. Customized orders should definitely not be placed here if you want to get your order on time.

Most diverse clientele ive seen. Wait was not too bad. Well staffed. Small little quick stop. No seats. In and out with a view.

The cashiers were very polite and are very clear with your order. The drinks were good and unlike my other experiences, the drink I got (caramel ribbon crunch) was good and not too watery. The only problem that made it a 4/5 was since this is a food and drink place, they had no restroom to use as customers.

Located right in Times Square NY, though wed rest our feet with a cup of Java, mainly Americano in the morning, the staff are really amazing, with a perfect knowledge of coffee, they always handcraft the beverage with super delicacy and perfection. Worth to mention the SOS is awesome, I had never been late for my beverages. Keep it up 👍

I think this is hands down the best experience ive ever had at a starbucks. I really wanted to try a refresher with a twist, since they have a lot more stuff you can add in your drinks than i have back home. I asked them to make me a drink, as long as its a refresher and its sweet. When i wanted to pay they said they were gonna cover the costs since i asked them to experiment. They gave me a GREAT drink!!! Absolutely loved it. Thank you to the person behind the register

My order was messed up. We got two Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, one was very sweet and the other no sugar at all.

I get it’s busy but no need to be rude! As the lady was that took our order. Then didn’t get it right. Disappointed in Starbucks and I’ve never said that before. My peppermint mocha tasted like it had chemicals in it?

To be possibly, it is Starbuck busiest in the city, it is very small, but the attention was pleasant, fast and does not lose the essence.

Not bad for a store smack-dab in the middle of Times Square. Standing room only, but employees seem to be as courteous and professional as they can be. Coffee with a view of Hard Rock Cafe, Bubba Gump Shrimp and the NYPD headquarters, who could ask for more? Lol

Hot chocolate was hot and delicious. Restaurant is small and theres no place to sit to enjoy your drink. There are also no restrooms. Just take your drink and go.

I went here to get my usual order of a Iced Chai Latte and the service was great, my order was made pretty quickly which was good. And it was actually quiet and not to busy here the day I was there considering it being in Times Square. Would come back again.

So they really TRY here but, I have found their system to be a timing disaster. Often my beverages is sitting while I wait, and wait, and WAIT for my sandwich. Again the staff tries. They NEED an additional oven for rushes!

Amazing people and great coffee. Although the lines were long and it took time to fill my order. It was so worth it. The people are sweet and very welcoming. They are very clean and take the time to do their best job. I always love going here because they are sweet and have a nice building to go to. They dont mix up orders they have great service and help you with anything. They can fulfill any request and are adaptive to any need. They take the time to ask what you need or want and fulfill it with glad hearts. I go here all the time with friends and they live it too. I highly recommend going here. They are expensive but it is so worth it does treat.

Basically, I believe this to be the Starbucks in the heart ofTimes Square.Very convenient location, also because its open 24 hours.(Absolutely the place to be for 2019 New Year, spectacular celebrations in Times Square, to see the ball drop. If you go outside, and look up facing southward, you can already see the lighted Led Ball, changing colors of illumination.)Of course, I greatly appreciate and love Starbucks, because their coffee is (most of the time) extremely well brewed.In the traditional excellence of Italian and French, premier cafes.However, once in a while, you do run into a barista, who does need additional training in making an exceptional cup of coffee.Unfortunately, that was evident at this location, perhaps because they are extremely busy.Hey, obviously because, it is Times Square, one of the busiest areas of the cross roads of the world. I dont know what happened to the staff, but the staff over the holidays were much better than the ones I saw today. First off, there were two people at one register so I wasnt sure who to speak to and they were both seemingly zoned out or in a conversation with a coworker. Them getting my name wrong isnt a shock, however, I had ordered a strawberry creme frappe with oat milk and a smoked Gouda with bacon. They messed up the order, I ended up getting my drink with almond milk and they didnt ask if I still wanted the whipped cream in it so that came out tasting weird, and I didnt even get a smoked Gouda, I got a regular bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I dont know whats going on but please get whoever staff was there in order.

Starbucks is so far my first choice for coffee at any city I visit. No matter where I am, I always find a Starbucks store and have my drink everyday. This Starbucks location is generally busy for being in Time Square, however the staff is very competent taking orders and preparing the drinks and food. The line is not that long. I didnt really spend so much time making the line. Also the treat is undeniable good. Regarding the food quality I think all locations are pretty much the same, reason why I never change my coffee choice. Starbucks is everywhere and good overall

I usually try to go to the smaller mom and pop coffee shops but was short on time.Just stopped by here and was greeted & taken care of by Destiny. She was so personable, present, respectful, and attentive! I felt comfortable asking her about the drink details and she was very polite and caring.Definitely left with a good impression and my pumpkin spice Latte was also nicely made. I usually love Starbucks! This time I tried the iced pumpkin chai latte! It was great. Loved it, will definitely be back for more.

I ordered a Mocha, and unfortunately, it didnt sit well with me. I had to rush to the bathroom almost immediately after.

Waited 10 minutes for 2 coffees and 2 teas, one coffee came out then nothing. On asking, told they didn’t have any tea left so had to line back up for a refund. They had also forgotten about the 2nd coffee which was promised straight away, then they forgot about that again. When chased again the coffee was made and slapped on the counter with no eye contact.The place is a also mess, and the restrooms were closed.

Easily most amazing Starbucks experience I have ever had. So small a store compared to several around it, yet they were amazingly efficient, friendly, and accurate!! My name was right, my drink was right, and the store was clean and insanely packed. THIS is the Starbucks you want to hit up in NYC for sure.

I called ahead to find out if the really closed at 11pm. I was told by a female employee that they closed at 10:30 pm. I arrived at 10:15pm after walking 10 mins to get there for a rude male employee told me they were closed! Its not even 10:30pm before I finished writing this review. I really hope management re trains or rehire the right crew members! I know Starbucks to be better than this around the country and expect the same here In New York! Please do better management!

Staff are rude. My drink wasnt that good compared to the other Starbucks I went to. Even saw the staff just talking and texting while a lot of clients were waiting for their drinks. Our drink werent ready before the other people after us got theirs first. In my opinion, they are like this because they dont care about customer service since they are in Times Square. Disappointing.

This has to be the fastest Starbucks Ive even been to. They were slammed and I was almost in & out. Had to review them.

First the baristas are rude and have no sense of urgency. I saw one barista walking around with her face mask on her chin and on FaceTime visibly in the bar area. There was a line and most of the workers didn’t have their face masks on properly. She did not make my drink correctly and had an attitude. I won’t return to this location anytime soon.

This Starbucks is the worst I have been to. I ordered in my phone, and went to pick up my order. When I arrived, the staff were just keep chatting, not trying to help at all. I asked nicely to check my mobile order, the staff looked and told me my order was not ready. I waited for another 5 mins, my order didn’t come. I was late for my class, then I asked again. He was so inpatient and checked again. My order was there when I came in. Basically I was waiting for nothing for 5 mins, and I was late for my class.

The staff at this location treat you like your not belong at that Starbucks, I asked for iced macchiato with oat milk and them they said, that I didn’t said that because I didn’t want to pay for the extra for oat milk, which I did ask for the oat milk.

Considering it is in Times Square and each drink is made with detail, the service is fast.I have encountered three different cashiers that have no smile and are borderline rude for no reason. The whole its NY attitude its not acceptable because no eye contact and no interaction with the customers is more of a I dont want to be here.But, on the plus side, there are more friendly and professional staff members that outweigh the bad, so if you could spare more time, its cool, itv its a great spot to meet as talk to tourists.

I go to school right in front of this Starbucks location.Ever single time there is a problem, either wrong drink is made or no bantam bagels available and they don’t tell you they don’t have it , only 10 -15 mins after wait , today the lady was so mean to me, it’s like 6-7 people behind the counter and no work efficiency at all.Ya was my last stroke, love Starbucks but not this location ever.

I wouldnt go to this one - even though its in the tourist area, doesnt make it any good. Actually, there are super long lines all the time, and the quality doesnt justify it. Honestly, there are way better Starbucks locations outside of the ultra popular tourist spots, so its better to go to those instead.

It says this location closes at 12am but they closed already before 10:30pm. Ordered on the mobile app, came to the store, and was told they didn’t accept any orders. They forgot to turn off accepting mobile orders and didn’t apologize at all, just telling you to call customer service for refund. Staff being rude and impatient, and I will never come back to this location again

The coffee was terrible ! Even after I sent it back once for not being what I ordered. The workers were nice enough ,but seemed stressed and definately understaffed. Lack of a restroom is also a negative.

I recently visited the Starbucks at Times Square and found the experience to be less than ideal. Unfortunately, the atmosphere fell short of expectations and did not match the welcoming and comfortable environment Ive experienced at other Starbucks locations. The congestion and lack of available seating significantly detracted from the overall experience.

Server said they couldnt do iced decaf coffee. Then colleague said they could do decaf americano. So I ordered. Then came without milk. I assured the person I had asked for milk (she was incredulous). Once convinced, struggled to pick a milk (hello? 2% would be fine). Finally, having given me my drink she then yelled across the place you really need to record your customers order correctly at the first server. Oh, and then they forgot the other drink I ordered.

Groups of black people cannot work together. Incredibly rude and unprofessional. Didnmt get my receipt, waited 10 minutes for them to hit up my sandwich. They didnt even realized that seeing me waiting in front of them. Not even a sorry. Horrible!

Ordered a Venti Iced Guava White Tea Lemonade and received a Grande instead. I told one of the baristas that I had ordered a Venti. At every Starbucks I have been to, baristas have always apologized and fixed the issue ASAP. The barista I spoke to told me to go to the register and pay for a Venti if I wanted that size and I told him several times that I told the cashier I wanted Venti, and the cashier even repeated it to me to make sure my order was correct. I didn’t want to pay for another drink so I just gave up and took the Grande. Employees here don’t respect customers at all.

This location is small, busy, and doesnt have a restroom. None of that is generally how you want your Starbucks experience to be like.The location is cool to see with a unique marquee. Most of the Starbucks does not have dark toast after the noon.. so it’s Medium roast.. less crowded during lunchtime.. service is quick

Drinks are good but the employee that was calling out the drinks had a mean attitude. He wasnt calling the names loud enough and when people came over to ask if that drink was theirs he would have attitude.

I went at 3am before an early flight bc this was the only option open. There were 2 customers in the store and 4 employees. I waited for 20 min for my coffee while 2 of the employees were on their phones behind the counter.

Nice place to visit late at night for a little coffee break in Times Square. Service was quick, and drinks were well made. Makes a good place to take refuge when a thunderstorm catches you by surprise.

Small and Sloppy.I have been here a few times and each time, my drink is made with too much of, too little of, or watered down. Get it together kids!This joint is pretty chaotic. Between the line to place your order, to the people crowded around the barista waiting for their drink, to the lost souls who stand around drinking their coffee because there is nowhere to sit, to the workers yelling out orders or comments to each other... Its like a bar without the alcohol (and nobody like a bar without alcohol).I usually stop here for a coffee if Im in the area and am in desperate need of the calories. Otherwise, I try to wait until I come across another SB.

Listen, Starbucks is what it is. They are all pretty much the same: bland, overpriced coffee; anodyne music; American students writing the next great novel. Its fine if youre stuck for a coffee hit but there are better options.

I think each staburk is unique but I recommend this one for you, fine traditional coffee, milkshakes etc, great positive environment you will enjoy, to your surprise you may witness morethan what is explain here, lot of different brands but check them out.

Great, friendly service super early in the morning. My friend and I were waiting in line for the GMA taping and needed some breakfast. Perfect place right around the corner from the studio!

At 7.30 am Time Square is the place to be to take a non photo bombed Selfie. No big line at Starbucks either. The staff was so patient with the non English speaking family taking their order. I came for the usual, a cappuccino and I walked out in no time with the beverage of my choice. Outside were red coffee tables and chairs placed. I found some seats still open to sit and enjoy the morning. Usually there is a NYPD car parked right next to the US Military Recruiting Station with one or two friendly cops to take a picture with tourists.

The taste of coffee (I took Americano) is similar to other Starbucks branch. However, the workers are kind and skillful for their job!

Coffee service is ok the one thing that’s bothers me is the one gender neutral bathroom for everyone and the other bathroom is reserved for employees only. You can’t have a place this big with one bathroom and 30 people waiting in line at a time.

Busy but efficient. no bathroom and some wear and tear shows up in the corners. only a little bar to have a drink while standing.

A 24 hour starbucks! I ordered a spinach feta wrap at 2 am in the morning. LolStaff is quick and friendly.

As spacious as other Starbucks in NYC. The service is very faced paced. There are no chairs/sofas to set-down and sip drinks. The reason could possibly be the fact that it’s located on the extremely populated Times Square.

The mesed up my order for some Better black coffee that it was supposed to be a camel while clinch, but they gave me a hot camel latte instead, that was did not taste like camel and bitter and disgusting

I went for the Wi-Fi but stayed much longer. The non coffee drinkers are not left out either in the menu.

Had the misfortune of visiting this location late January. Order was incorrect due to poor listening skills from server, as she was more interested in the conversation with her coworkers. When order was found to be incorrect, spent 5 minutes trying to interrupt the conversation to get corrected, then gave up. Threw the nasty latte into the trash directly after leaving.

The cashier didnt understand using stars in exchange for soy and the barista left out my stevia clearly on the lable

Good location. Make sure you notice where they want the line to route in the store. They get a little snarky and bitchy.

The staff are so rude. Also, I asked for coffee and an iced water and waited so long for the water, I walked out with just the coffee and not the water. I would avoid this Starbucks as much as possible.

I placed a mobile order for an herbal tea with honey. A simple order don’t you think? I walk the 4 blocks from my hotel, through Times Square chaos, to pick up my drink. When I get there it isn’t ready. I was confused because the baristas were chatting away, it making anything, and my drink wasn’t ready. I was pretty much ignored, and eventually looked over the counter to see my drink sitting there. I asked for it, and walked back to my hotel. Back in my room, I realized the drink had no honey at all. The $5 tea I ordered is just not enjoyable without honey. I was not up for walking back and had to just deal with it. I wouldn’t even have bothered writing this review had there been an ounce of customer service. Such an annoyance and a waste of good money.

Worst Starbucks I ever been too. I’m calling corporate. I brought a frappe and said no whip. She still put whip then scooped half of the frappe with the whip out of the cup shook it up and served it to me, instead of making a new one. I should of asked for a new one but I just came from work and was too tired. As I’m finishing my frappe I seen a hair in my drink😩😩. Worst Starbucks ever.

Its in the heart of Time Square so I doubt there is ever a time when its not mobbed, but they were pretty fast considering how busy they are.

Each time I come here the employees are making each other laugh and smile, and that makes me have a good time as well. Food is the usual Starbucks fare, but the vibes here have been immaculate.

My friends drink was not filled to the top after she waited 20 mins and my drink was forgotten and when i asked about it the lady tried to fight me about it. very rude and poor atmosphere.
