Rudest store ever!!!Staffs are so unprofessional and rude!!!Baddest experience ever!!!This morning I stopped by the store and ordered a coffee and a sandwich. I waited my sandwich 10 mins there and everyone else ordered behind me all gotten there, so I wanted to ask the lady who’s taking sandwiches out, but she kept away from me and looked didn’t want to hear me. I wanted 3 mins more and since I was late to work so I went to the counter and asked for refund because I have to go.BUT! The rudest thing happened! A black lady with red or pink shirt on her started pointing at me with the sandwich tung on her hand yelled at me saying they can’t do a refund for me and told me to wait until she finishes her work. That was ridiculous! And all other staffs hang there they started to join and fight against me to let me be patient. What situation is this??? So I have to be stuck there for another 5 more minutes to get refunded. And she even refunded wrong amount to me. I was too mad how they’re being so disrespectful. So I called store number to complain about this situation, but the guy picked up the phone was not taking the call seriously and made fun of me saying I should be early if I didn’t want to late to work.This whole thing was so frustrating and awful!

Coffee went to trash the minute we left the shop. It was our last resort cause everything else was closed. Awful quality, I do regret we went for it

Amazing environment and food but costumer service needs more work

First thing is, they were open. Went to four other Stabucks store around that place on a Saturday evening at 8pm and found those closed. But Google said those were open!It wasn’t crowded because of the Storm alert.

Slowest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. It’s like the staff were moving in slow motion and just didn’t give a rip about anything. Bizarre. No bathroom either. :(

I visited this Starbucks location at 5PM yesterday and 6PM today, and both times they ran out of cold brew. Tonight, they didnt even have iced coffee available. How do you not have iced coffee? Yet, they offered a more expensive iced shaken espresso as an alternative. This will probably be my last visit to this location. How do you run out of one of your best-selling products three hours before closing? This consistent lack of basic offerings is unacceptable.

Went there yesterday , completely ignored. 2 servers standing there backs to me, neither turned round or spoke, so we left. Very rude

The staff here is very friendly. The new employees could be a little kinder. Ordering on the app really reduces the amount of time youll have to wait inside. The location is pretty much empty all the time due to everyone leaving midtown because of covid. This location is the cleanest that its ever been. I had to take a star away because they no longer provide straws. The lack of straws forces me to completely remove my face covering and that makes me uncomfortable. Also, there is always a homeless person sitting on the floor blocking the entrance. I frequent locations in Queens and they have more hand sanitizer readily available for customers to use. I really wish that they had visible hand sanitizer at this location for customers to use.

Wrong order and bad altitude

So because you close at 9pm I can’t buy anything after 8pm that has to be made by a blender because your employees started cleaning by 8pm. I walked in there at 8:13pm yesterday Thursday the 11th, and was told that the blenders were broken, i said, or are they all cleaned, and you just don’t want to clean it again. I also said i could be your secret shopper and he didn’t care… please find employee that wants to work for your business and not be lazy! Never again will i go to this one!

NEVER, and I mean NEVER coming here again. I’ve come here a few times in the past and never had any issues, but recently???? Omg *eyeroll*. I came in this morning and the taller girl that wears her black mask over her mouth only, has THEE NASTIEST attitude. I ordered something to be heated up and instead of her handing it to me, so walks over to the mobile order section, and drops it there. Her coworker then gave me my item, like wth is the issue?? I didn’t order it for mobile pickup, I ordered it in-house. So?? Just so nasty. Mind you, this isn’t the first time I’ve encountered her nasty attitude. Only person that had a pleasant demeanor was the person that was doing the iced drinks. Very nice. Everyone else? Bleh! Will not waste my money here again. Also, the food I got warmed up was very dry, and smelled weird. Smh

After ordering my drink online and arriving ten minutes later, it still wasn’t ready. I politely asked the barista for a cold water with ice to go along with my order, which she agreed to. Despite waiting in an empty store for some time, I received my drink without the water. I considered asking for a bit more cold oat milk to avoid burning myself, but the barista was too far away, and I didn’t want to shout. I waited for her to come closer so I could ask, but instead, she accused me of disrespecting her and refused to talk to me. I tried to explain that I was simply waiting for her to approach, but she insisted I had offended her somehow. She then rudely bid me farewell in a way that clearly lacked sincerity. Despite being a loyal Starbucks customer for years and enjoying the drinks, this unpleasant interaction has deterred me from returning to this location.It was at 9 am if manager is care to have a conversation with the barista about her attitude.

I love the design of this Starbucks but it’s very busy and the latte wasn’t good at all.

Just want to say that the barista was kind enough to turn one of my favorite drinks here into a hot drink because I told her I was so cold. And she recreated it as a hot drink to perfection. Perfect flavor, perfect temperature. Before I ordered that I wanted to try a new drink, to my disappointment it wouldnt be available until the next day. She offered me a sample of that as well. Great customer service from her and her team!

Very cute place great place to study they have delicious drinks. Just one thing is that everything is low-key sweet you kinda have to kind of specify what you want to do anything

Only grande, no Medium or small sizes. No restroom.

Slowest service ever, waited 30 min for shot of espresso.

First time I gave SB just one ⭐ and it is well deserved. Ordered a flavored latte and then after waiting for my order, Im given a flavored coffee. After realizing the cashier made a mistake at the register, I was told to pay the $1.5 difference and then wait again for my latte. As I waited to pay, I inquired if my inconvenience in making me wait again was equal to the $1.5, and the person who I took to be supervising the SB and charging the $1.5 looked at me and said Sorry and walked away. Sorry, Ill be going to other coffee shops as there are plenty of coffee shops in NYC. I paid for another persons coffee, said Happy Holidays, and decided to move on... literally and figuratively.

Best Starbucks in Midtown! Id say all NY but Im mostly used to frequenting midtown. Awesome Team, always on point, always remember their regulars by name, and the location is always clean and music playing at the perfect level. Gets my day started right.

People at this Starbucks, if I got the location correct were really cool. I did not even buy anything, but I did earlier in the day at a different SB. I came in to charge my phone and get warm. The man to my left was typing away what looked like a PowerPoint and the man to my right sketched me a picture of myself as I was writing in my journal while my phone charged. Many people were on their phones. I had a good conversation with the artist after I tipped him. I also got a free cup of water which made me cold on a chilly day but the staff was cool.

Clean and quick. The staff could have been a bit friendlier / have a caring tone/ attitude ... But then again this is NYC, if you are too nice youd be eaten alive.Im from CT and we are kind up there ... For the most part ... LoL.

Starbucks has gone down, down, down for me. Cannot enjoy my half n half cappuccinos anymore because there is no consistency in the end result which is usually too much milk or too much coffee..Ive thrown my last 3 drinks away after a sip or 2....I find a duane reader now and buy canned cold brews instead .

There are lots of windows and the interior is newer. There are no bathrooms! Drinks and service are average. Only a few plugs for charging.

Nice place they know how to make coffee and its not that expensive they have tables and chairs where you can sit with your friends to talk and drink your coffee I recommend that place the personal is nice to you and the place its clean, they have restrooms their are also clean and nice I hope you really go to this Starbucks its a good place to go for a coffee, if you go I hope you enjoy your coffee, chocolate, te, pannini, etc enjoy your visit 🗽😀❤🍵☕

Couch seats are uncomfortable to sit in while using a laptop on the table. Theyre just the wrong height and depth. And the cushions cover one out of two wall sockets so its hard to charge anything.

They missed one of my items and I had to wait for extra time.

As an avid coffee drinker, I was thrilled to try out Starbucks new spicy drink. However, my recent experience at one of their locations wasnt the best. One of the employees was disrespectful and dismissive towards me because of my job, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.To add to the frustration, I received the wrong drink due to unclear communication from the employee. When I went back to correct the mistake, there were further spelling errors in my name, and the barista made a joke at my expense, which only added to the embarrassment.I have always enjoyed going to this Starbucks location, but this experience left me feeling disrespected and belittled. I believe that all customers should be treated with respect, regardless of their occupation, appearance, or social status, and I hope that this location can take steps to improve its customer service.I would like to see the employees trained to communicate more clearly and to have a better understanding of how to treat all customers in a respectful and welcoming manner. Ultimately, I hope that this location can improve its service and provide a positive experience for all customers.

This is by far the worst Starbucks I’ve ever visited. The staff is rude and incompetent.I ordered a tall cappuccino and received a cup that was only half full. When I asked about it, Darren and Tula (both employees at this location) claimed they had called out my name four times, and that the remaining foam had dissipated. We were sitting close to the counter and did not hear any call-outs. When I questioned further, Darren rudely stated, “I don’t have to answer to you.”This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Darren’s behavior reflects poorly on the brand.Starbucks should either replace the staff at this location or consider closing this outlet. Pathetic experience. Would NOT recommend this place, as the staff is incompetent and deceitful.

Starbucks on Madison is the best in the city. Amazing staff, theyll make all your drinks perfectly, but sometimes really rude, entitled, customers.

Gorgeous Starbucks with lots of seats. I love the seats that face the street which is great for people watching. Some plugs around but youve got to search for them.

This Starbucks shut down, yet it still shows up as open until 8pm on google maps. Not amazing if you are running there because it’s raining heavily outside

If you want to use the bathroom just head to the bathroom area if there is someone waiting you could just wait with them. If the employees say otherwise then obey them.

Every time I go to this Starbucks in the morning the staff is always nice. All of them has excellent service. I go during the evening at least twice a month and rose is soooo nice. Yesterday I went around 6:45 I was at the register and there was a young lady sweeping by the register and I was greeted or told someone will be right with you. I couldn’t get her name because she didn’t have a name tag on. So rose came over and took our order and than I sat down. I hear chairs banging giving the customers the impression to get out and music is turn off by 7pm . Literally 7:20 because I check the time I hear lobby is closing is 20 min. We can tell because the banging of chairs and the music been off for at least 15min. I understand people wanna leave but don’t make customers uncomfortable being super aggressive. This is Starbucks not a bodega down the block. Just be kind 😊

Was it extremely busy? Yes, but its New York who cares. We came from PA and we had the best starbucks ever we’ve been going to starbucks everyday since trying to find one in Pa that makes it as good and no luck. We wish we knew what they did differently. We dont know who made our drinks but Elijah took our order

The staff is friendly and helpful here. This store is always clean, well kept and managed store. Coffee is always made fresh and just as u like it. Normally u dont have to wait long for ur order. Thats unless its during normal peak times.

I brought a family group of 20 people in from Florida. 2 of the girls could not wait to use bathroom so then ran in first.. They ask the biy behind the register where the bathroom was and he turned them away. Because his feeble excuse was. Facilities are fir CUSTOMERS ONLY THEY RETURNED DISAPPOINTED. I BELIEVE THE BOY HIMSELF was a person of mixed decent. Needless to say the family said SCREW THEM AND THAT RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE COFFEE & Pastries. ENDED UP TAKING THEM DOWN TO KATZ PASTRAMI IN LOWER MANHATTAN THEY SPENT OVER $1,000. AND HAD A FAMILY BALL. SCREW STARBUCKS

Stuff are very rude and helpless.Since the store reopen after the pandemic,It did happen to me couples of time in this place. The barista who brings the orders put them behind the bar without calling on people names, and the other one near the orders doesnt bother when you ask her.

Expensive place. The product delivered is not as they are promoted on picture. For example very little whip cream given like a flat layer, or too much ice cube in lemonade which make actual drink less.
