Waiting on my order and I noticed how friendly the staff is and that they really know their customers and their custimers children! I have been to Starbucks in over 40 states and this location displayed the highest level of friendliness, caring as well as relationships with the ones they are providing for.I cant wait to come back!

Stacy, Sam & Al are the nicest people at Starbucks so friendly, so caring.. they go above & beyond to make their customers happy.. this is by far my favorite Starbucks branch!.. great work guys!.

Noisy place and they don’t have restroom for customers.

Excellent drinks with a nice area outside to chill. The staff also works extremely hard and they deserve all the praise they can get.

Coffee was regular Starbucks but one star because they refused to accept a $50 bill. Not even $100 bill, a 50. I get its 2024 but thats valid tender. And youre a corporation, not a mom and pop. Not accepting a bill over 20 is crazy.

What a disapointment after the re-opening.🙄😒No more bathroom, no more inside table,just a long counter..But the worst...WHO did the hiring??The morning crew today was sooo ghetto.2 on their phones, 1 working, 1 coming out of the kitchen with mouth full of food, speaking to co-worker while doing coffee and unaware of spitting ..Disgusting.

Add an outdoor trashcan please, it is likely to reduce the problem with tables that block the path to the order pickup from the west park area.Nice outdoor seating area, bring your dog to check the birds out. Birds can be aggressive, I wouldnt feed them willingly.

Workers kept talking at work keeping a line on both cashier and pickup area.

Hi…it’s me Isaac I just bought 2 frappochinos w/caramel and they were both very very bitter. Very disappointing… not like usual.

Customer service is very poor the people who work there the speak very nasty. I went to buy coffee and I want to use the bathroom first they did not let me use the bathroom. They humiliate me in front of the other people. and speaking me just really nasty words. I just came out without buying a coffee.

Came in ordered a drink. I was told I couldn’t use the bathroom because they closed in an hour. Odd and inconvenient. Google also says they close at 9PM and it is currently 3:12PM.Overall for a company which aims to be “America’s second living room” not a great experience.Also asked if I could just use the baby changing table and was told I could not.

Great staff, great service....Im never disappointed. Have I seen them make mistakes with my order? Yes but not frequently. And their comeback is amazing. They make an effore to greet their regular customers by name. They even know the names of most of the kids that come in with their parents. Great teamwork.

Feb 4, 2022 between 8:45am to 9:00 am. I used to love this location, not until one of the lady who works here that does the warming up of the bread came up to me without saying excuse me or good morning, and asked me for proof of vaccination and ID. I told her I showed already to the barista guy that handover my coffee since I want to be seated, but she still insisted me to show to her my proof of vaccination and ID.Train your employees the proper procedure on how to approach customer, and lastly train them to be courteous.

The barista insisted on making the drink of the person behind me before mine, even though the guy said multiple times I was first in line and he was fine with waiting. He didn’t appear to be in any hurry, so I have to assume it was because the barista saw I had luggage with me so she assumed I’m from out of town. Complete garbage service, especially since I was standing right there as this all happened, waiting patiently for my drink. Learn some customer service peeps.

Never coming back here. Workers were rude and messed up order. They didn’t offer a new drink after a karen spilled. Staff wouldn’t let us order in a group. We’re EXTREMELY rude.

Consistently understaffed with slowest service. Any time of day. Waited 10 minutes with 4 people in front of me. I left after 10 minutes with still two people in front of me. One server is constantly cleaning completely ignoring clients. I went two blocks down to Le Pain Q, got coffee and it was faster than if I stayed in line. Avoid this place at all cost if possible.

Long line of people & no inside seating. As with all Starbucks Ive visited, seats are often taken by people with laptops who spend many hours there & some dont even make a purchase. Most Starbucks are really just a techie hangout. Better coffee elsewhere.

Great outdoor space with plenty of seats and tables. Inside has almost no seating so it is best to visit when the weather is nice. Never had an issue with an order and the line always moves very fast.

Nice and steady coffee place! Occasionally, they may get orders wrong or run out of supplies, but dont let that stop you from going here. Theres friendly staff and great tasting beverages offered here Im you are looking for it!

My fav Sbux in the 80s. Everyone is so sweet and today when I was on my way to work they made my drink so I wouldn’t be late. I can’t express my thanks enough to whoever was working today❤️

They need to update this listing including the pictures. It is no longer dine in! They did away with seating with the renovation.

My go to Sbux when I am in the UES. The coffee is always hot and fresh and served to my specification. Majority of the staff is friendly and quick in fulfilling your order. Recently one guy got upset and made a big deal when I asked for Ice Tea as a refill to my hot coffee. I never had issues at other Sbux and even this time but this employee wasnt happy about my request but obliged to give it to me warning me this can not be done next time!They do a great job keeping the milk/sugar counter clean and organized. The outside seating is awesome to relax and take a break from the crazy hustle and bustle of NYC over a good book! I just wish they spend more time cleaning the outside tables and chairs. It is always dirty and doesnt seem to be cleaned at all! Just be ready to grab some napkins and give it a good wipe!

One of the most friendly and welcoming Starbucks on the Upper East Side. Muzak kept very low or not at all. You can actually have a conversation. Never a line and always a greeting and a smile to go with your latte. the Best.

How is this plain black coffee so bad? It literally tastes like a fart.

Its s busy busy location. They manage to keep a smile at all times. Corporate! They deserve a raise and make sure ya properly staff em! Give them all the support they need.

Just need to bring attention to how nice and friendly the staff is at this location. I know it cant be easy after a long day! ;) Nice outdoor spot to sit during warm days too.

Great customer service, indoor seating (work table with chargers and small tables) as well as plenty of outdoor seatings with umbrellas. Convenient for a quick stop or to sit for a while and enjoy.

For some reason the coffee on this Starbucks dos nlt taste as good as most other. Service is great anyways. I was in a hurry and cold not get it changed.

Absolutely no need for water for tea to be so scalding hot that it requires 2 cups, and a cardboard holder to be able to enjoy. Service was quick and reliable.

The line was enormous, comprised mostly of girls from The Chapin School, but the staff of two handled the rush magnificently.

Stand alone Starbucks are on point no problems however the others within a particular store are totally unprepared lack of ice cups etc

This Starbucks has always been pretty bad - mostly awful coffee drinks - they are all very weak and taste like mud. Now after the renovation, they removed the tables, and left it without a seating area, so it went from bad to worse.

They made my drink cold instead of hot like i ordered which is fine so I told them pls don’t throw away the venti cold drink i’ll take it so they don’t waste it, then they poured it all out in front of me while i was saying again pls don’t waste it! so annoying and such a waste!

Not good! Charge 4.00 for milk I wanted on the side and 3.00 for expresso shot. They would not let me use points!

I usually dont mind starbucks for coffee. They are usually very consistent so thats a positive they have going for them. This location when I visited had nothing but pike place and it was burnt. The baristas there were courteous but I just expected more from Starbucks when it came to the coffee. It was possibly a bad day but I will try a different location next time Im in the area.

Very disappointed experience at this Starbucks on 2017 08 04 15:00. The store policy is enforced unevenly here. Needed to use the bathroom after intake of caffeine and one of the staff yelled at me for having a dog after I clearly stated I am there just here to use the bathroom after drinking their coffee. It was after I saw several white men going into the same coffee shop with a dog to grab a coffee. Were they also yelled at by a staff? Not so sure. And the lady next to me had a cat in her bag! She was inside the store before I arrive and was there after I left. I understand about the animal policy, it just needs to be applied to everyone. A female employee apologies to me after the incident.

The best neighborhood Starbucks I am convinced in Manhattan. All of the baristas are friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Grabbing a cup of coffee in the morning can sometimes be a dreaded event but this is a place I look forward to to in the mornings. This location should be an example of how other Starbucks should be run with a positive environment that also reflects in the customers. A few of my faves baristas include ; Aliyah, Tasha, Tae and Issac.

This is the worst starbucks. Go here if you want rude service in a cramped atmosphere. Also, plan to wait forEVER. They completely forgot about my order. Again.Edit: also the coffee is always burnt and has the aftertaste of inadequately cleaned equipment.

Its a bit of a whole in the wall, so it doesnt have a lot of space. On the other hand, because its smaller, it has the feel of an old neighborhood place ...

I really like this Starbucks in my neighborhood. Its great in the summer cause they have outside tables with umbrellas. You can sit outside with your dog and give him some water. I like getting an egg sandwich, which is only a few bucks and the Carmel Crunch Frapuccinos are addictive. Im giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because this one women got angry at me cause the cashier told her to remake my drink cause I said I wanted more syrup and it tasted different the other two times. The cashier was super friendly though and told me that I would get more points if I charged my turkey sandwich separately from my drink. I like that I can charge it from my phone. I wish everyone would let us pay that way. Wifi works inside and outside. You can bring your Macbook and usually get a seat.
