One star. The restroom here smells so terrible it’s worse than any portable toilet I’ve ever been in on a hot day. It’s unbearable, and it seems the ventilation isn’t working at all. This really ruins the overall experience.
I placed a mobile order, and when I arrived the barista preparing the beverages was Great. I received my beverage almost as soon as I walked in. My sandwich, on the other hand, was not ready. One of the employees literally passed by and looked at my sandwich on the counter three times. It was not until 9 minutes passed by, and I asked about my sandwich that she went directly to the sandwich on the counter to prepare it. She then seemed annoyed that she had to prepare it. Is that not what youre there to do. Im at a loss on this one.
I had a very bad experience with this lady ignoring me when I was asking for an additional cup.

Watered down coffee.The only reason I would ever get star bucks is because they served thick coffee and now its bad tasting Dunkin donuts.They installed new machines to better control how much coffee they expend per cup, so now you get less coffee and more water, but the same acidic taste as before.Never again.Also, its not a welcoming atmosphere with employees giving weird stares..

Was surprised to how friendly and attentive the staff was at this location, enough so I felt like I needed to write this review. My expectations are always low in a Manhattan Starbucks but couldn’t believe how not only nice the people working here were but how efficiently I got my order. The person taking my order was kind and even when they stepped away they informed me they would be right back to help me. Someone that seemed to be a manager even said hello. Got my order in less then 5 minutes and with a smile. Tables were clean and wasn’t super crowded on a Tuesday afternoon.
Very rude manager and staff. Do not stop here. They stopped me from using restroom. They lied and said they wanted to close at 5 pm. The store was open till 7 pm.

Staff was extremely rude. I ordered and waited for my drink and a barista Called my name to come up to her to get my drink when I did, I was asking where my drink was because I did not see it when she called me over. There was a drink sitting and I assumed was mine since it was the only one there I asked the barista “is this my drink?” She nodded. I asked again “my drink?” Again nodded, when she was going to hand it to me I just thought since she wasn’t gonna give it to me after confirming it was mine to just grab it then but when I tried another barista rudely yelled at me and said “do not grab anything over the bar!” I was confused since the first barista said it was my drink twice and no one handed it to me. They put my drink in a different area and didn’t even tell me where it was until after that. Wish I got names to report to cooperate but this will do. Wish I could give a 0 for my experience for the very unfriendly and snooty workers.
When I first walked into this Starbucks I thought they had The Artists Garden painting by Monet on loan from the Musée dOrsay in Paris. Or perhaps it was done by one of his understudies... ? or maybe it was an unattributed Monet? Is this Who the $&% Is Jackson Pollock? all over again?!For the uninitiated, thats a documentary that follows Teri Horton, a 73-year-old long-haul truck driver from California, who purchased a painting from a thrift shop for $5, only to find out later that it may be a Jackson Pollock painting. She had no clue at the time who Jackson Pollock was, hence the name of the film. She ends up turning down a $9 million offer for the painting, as she thought it was worth closer to $50 million. She died without having sold it. Pure insanity, but a great watch nonetheless.Anyways not sure how we got here but I wish the service was as good as the Monet imitation painting. The employees are nice but they made the drink incorrectly. I ordered a mocha cookie crumble Frappuccino and they didn’t make it look anything like the photo. The didn’t put the chocolate syrup or sprinkles on top of the whipped cream.

I did a pick up order 3-5 times already and i still waited there for like 14-20mins for my drink, and they put out of stock of the items even they do have it. .

The Starbucks brand is one you can always rely on for quality service and product. This particular location feels like a pirate store bearing the same name, luring loyal customers to the worst unexpected experience. The staff is absolutely unprofessional, red-eyed, and constantly chatting while the line of customers piles up. They deny bathroom access to paying customers, and consistently get orders wrong. Dont be surprised if youre next in line and the staff suddenly decides to stop to chat about their previous night out. The regional manager should do a complete restructuring of this local, replace the entire crew, and review the policies. Until then, KEEP AWAY!
An absolute mess. No leaders on the floor. Its 9am, there are about 10 people waiting around and 7 partners on the floor. The two on the bar are unfortunately not in sync at all. They need to be retrained. I have also been waiting for my iced latte for almost 10 minutes. Received my latte and they added caramel to my cinnamon dolce latte.
Please work on customer service. I waited for 15 minutes on a mobile order I received 3 out 4 items right away. I told them I was missing oatmeal. The barista let the others know then the cashier started to make it but the other barista told him to stay on cash register the young lady handling the food seemed to be making all the sandwiches so when o asked her about my oat meal she caught an attitude grab the oatmeal put in a bag the tossed it on the counter and without any of the toppings! No need for the had done job with an attitude. I told the cashier and he politely gave me the topping.*notice time stamp for 10:37 am I didn’t get it till 10:54. Everything else was there and ready.
Horrible customer service at this location. Waited 15 minutes to get a simple cup of whole milk while other customers were served first. The manager asked the employee to apologize but she chose to smirk instead. I cannot believe Starbucks would hire these type of people. Howard Shultz has built a great organization and I admire many of their business practices. Todays experience was one of the most horrible customer service experiences in my life. Something should be done to address this.
Just walked into this Starbucks not too long ago and they told me that they are closed! How do you close your store 30 minutes before closing! If your store says you close at 12am then you should close at that time. This location is a disgrace to the Starbucks corporation and the employees there aren’t friendly at all. One of the employees stated that someone was coming “to do something” which is why they closed early but I knew she was just lazy and wanted to leave early. You shouldn’t hire employees who don’t want to work and do their job. I never write a bad review or a review at all but I was very disappointed with my experience here. After we left we also noticed that they kept turning people away. What a joke! This Starbucks either needs to be closed down or you need to hire better night shift employees!!

A well-run efficient location in the big apple. Only grabbed a cuppa joe so no sense of how the food was, except that many people were buying. Clean and easy to navigate. Didnt try the bathroom, so no comment there.

Staff member was uninterested in being at work and unhelpful. He insisted my drink was correct despite it being a different color than normal. Its sickeningly sweet despite me adding extra water :-(
I was staying in the hotel next door and I was so happy that Starbucks was next door. The first few days of my travels I had an ok experience. On the last day I order my same drink that I get everyday and when I got it looked to dark for a mocha frap. I tasted it and it was way to sweet and I could not task any coffee. So I ask the lady if she could remake because it tasted like chocolate milk instead of coffee. Her response is well its a mocha frap. I told her I know I get it everyday and it had way to much chocolate sryp and I count not taste any coffee. She looked at and said so you 2ant me to remake it? The tone to me was very rude. I told her yes and she said ok but I am going to make it the same way and awhile she was making it I could she her talking to another associate about me because they were talking low and looking at me. As she started to make it she said look I put in the coffee very rudely. This experiance was awful. It upsets me when they advertise if you dont like your drink we will fix it and they are not fulfilling the promise of the brand.

At 8.30 AM couldnt change a 100$ bill. Ridiculous! A currency used all over the world and in a Metropolis on one of the main streets with a turnover of 10s of thousands of dollars they dont have change. Went to Dunkin Donuts.
I like coming to this place but the people they had working today move so slow it was sad they were action like they didn’t even want to be there. High quality & fast paced service. They even gave my brother & I complimentary coffee while we were waiting on a friend. Truly a home away from home.

They wont brew you a decaf coffee like in the rest of Starbucks. If you want decaf coffee you have to buy an Americano which is stronger and more expensive. Not very friendly either.

Early risers need not arrive for their caffeine at the weekday posted opening time of 5:00 AM. Staff arrived at 5:05. Doors were unlocked for customers at 5:30. Milk was up at 5:38 AM.
The manager wouldnt exchange 5 dollars for singles. The employees making drinks and food were very courteous. I understand that the business wouldnt suffer, but customer service needs work at the managerial level.

Great starbucks, and the employees are insanely great. They have a decent system set up and someone is always checking on guests, waiting and seated. I stop by frequently before work and always have a great experience.the least pleasant is just some of the customers - I know yall have never worked in the service industry but please get a grip. this staff works their as*es off to get your coffee so you dont have a mental breakdown at your job. dont give them one at theirs.anyways... lovely location, lovely staff, lovely eats + drinks. lighting is really nice, too. very warm and moody.
A wonderful example of leadership and “crisis” communication by a staff member at this location. Place is packed with two bus loads of students. Line up is out the door. People are jonesing for morning cup. Frustration is palpable. Then the supervisor yells out to the crowd to thank us for our patience, notes that the barista working the line is working alone and normally has two others assisting. Reminds us that we will get our orders only a little slower. In so doing he calmed everyone down and the struggling barista got a round of applause from the customers. Thought he and his team deserved a shout out!

This Starbucks was on my way home. Ive been here a couple of times. It was always clean and the cashiers have always been friendly and helpful. The coffee was good for my taste. My wife enjoyed her refresher. There is a large amount of seating. If you are in need of a coffee and you are in the area its a good place to stop

High energy coffee spot with nice people and lots of movement. They do have seating but not too many so its a big one for the running coffee. Very fast service. But, dear reader, when youre in Midtown, you cant expect to have polite service. They got my order wrong twice!!!!!!!! It was an online order and they still messed it up!!! I dont understand how when its a black iced tea with milk instead of water, they still got it wrong. I got there and it was water instead of milk, so I showed them it was wrong, then they did another one with water no milk!!! And then I had to leave because my break was almost over. They were polite about it but Ive been there before and ordered the same thing in person so I dont understand. Ill have to go to another location from now on

Coffee was good when i was there it was packed.
I ordered caramel brulee latte and ham anf chees on a croissant. Once I was charge I apparently the girl didnt have topping parts for caramel brulee latte at 7am. The lady that charge me was on her phone texting taking half her mask out and didnt tell the girl she did the croissant to the other girl. N that other girl took my croissant n threw it in the garabe without asking. Their communication is really poor.
This Starbucks doesnt have a bathroom for customers. There is a bathroom but only the staff can use it. Ghetto!!!

Exceptional birthday cake pop, I had never tried it and I was amazed.Pumpkin spice creme frappuccino good but nothing special, being cold I find it not very wintery and very very sugary.
I ordered a cold pineapple drink, they served it wrong, they didnt change it, they just added strawberry essence or something like that and what that was was to make the taste worse. Whats on the menu doesnt look anything like whats on the menu.

This was the first store I entered after arriving in New York. The croissants were warm and crispy. If you are waiting for your cafe latte, they will serve you by name. Even though I was very confused, the staff spoke English well and did not make any unpleasant faces. Even short, its about the size of a Japanese Starbucks tall 💪💪💪💪
