Welp! I went there yesterday and the service was awesome the manager working the evening was very accommodating I wanted to change my hot drink that had become cold before I can’t get to it and I didn’t want to waste 9$….. he graciously gave me a hot latte I truly appreciate it and he didn’t do it be begrudgingly either made feel comfortable even though I was kind of worried at first… so thank you
Terrible service and unfriendly staff. People working here look like they dislike their job. I travel a lot for work, Starbucks are always quick stops for me, cashier refused to hand a ticket of my order, which makes reporting travel expenses more complex. When I asked why I cant get a receipt, he said just because.. Plus food was not properly heated. Everything wrong here..
Starbucks is one of the best coffee shops around the world. It has a wide variety of recipes made with cold or hot coffee as well as aromatics, tea and other types of drinks. Its bakery and pastry shop is of excellent quality but the best thing about Starbucks is the quality of service and customer service.
Staff took my order and then forgot to charge me because they were easily distracted finishing off their venti frappuccino at the register. Bathroom is something youd find at a gas station. This Starbucks has been going downhill for years.
I’ve been coming here every morning for my coffee, but I’m done with this place because of Maya. For the second time today, she completely ignored my order, then had the nerve to yell at me in front of other customers, asking why I didn’t say “Good morning” to her. Well, Maya, I don’t owe you any pleasantries when you’ve been rude to me before. Now, she’s acting like she’s the victim, trying to blame me and pretend she’s being nice. It’s honestly pathetic. When I don’t respond, she just says “ha” in a condescending way, completely lacking any sense of basic etiquette.Her behavior isn’t just annoying—it’s affecting the whole place. I’ve noticed her coworkers losing tips because of her, and frankly, I’m not tipping while she’s around. I’m sure other customers feel the same way. Maya acts like she’s in charge, but let me make this clear: she’s not. If you’re unhappy in your job, Maya, it might be time to quit. Your attitude is a disgrace to the business, and as long as you’re here, I won’t be coming back.
Just have to share this photo. All three team members were on their phones. As I waited in line behind 2 other customers, the cashier was on his phone invested in whatever he was doing as I took his photo right in front of him. The Barista had his phone on speaker as he told the girl he was speaking with how it wasnt busy at all. The third male was standing toward the back on his phone as well.Just think its funny how all three were not at all interested in the Customers in the cafe. Once he took my order he was friendly and so was the Barista who was on a phone call on speaker lol.
The place is very good and the cashier with the drinks server are really fast and professional, the only issue I faced during order the crusine which took more than 15 mintues while the coffee being ready from the second minute after placing the order.Time frame need to be improved in order to meet their customers satisfaction.
The only reason Im not giving this location 1 star is because Ive had a decent experience there in the past. But man, after this time, I dont want to spend my money here.The line was super long, totally expected at 8:45am, and it moved somewhat quickly so that was good. But then there were masses of people waiting for drinks for a while... I probably waited 10 minutes for my peach green tea lemonade.When Im just about to ask them if my order was skipped or lost, I see someone start making it. Then, I hear her ask the other employee next to her if shes seen the tea shaker - the answer was no. They lost the tea shaker and no one even 1) had a minute to stop and find it, 2) go get another or 3) ask someone else to find it or get another... fine, no big deal, its just a shaker. So, then I notice, as the person is sloshing the tea and lemonade all over the counter and not in my cup, that theres barely any drink in it. But thats what she moves forward with and proceeds to add two more scoops of ice on top of the one she already added. Even better, my drink STILL didnt fill the cup with all of that ice.Totally not paying $5 to have five sips worth of drink. Super frustrating.
A solid Starbucks experience. Friendly staff. Move through orders quickly and accurately. Usually busy due to the location, but a nice stop on the way to or from a bus at the Port Authority bus terminal.
This is the worst coffee ever. It taste rancid. I have tried the lavander latte before at another location and it was really good, but this one was totally disgusting, at first I gagged, and made someone else try it, as I thought it was me, but no. It was crazy bad. Service was also bad.
Disgraceful. I had 22 minutes to get my bus, and stopped by to get a couple of drinks given there were only 3 people ahead of me in the line. After 18 minutes the drinks were not ready yet and had to leave, leaving the drinks behind me. Hope the guys at the counter enjoyed them, they seemed very chilled. I love Starbucks but they should expect higher standards from their branches.
Today reminded me why I gave up Starbucks years ago and deleted their app from my phone. Yes your former physical named gold card holder. I might still have the card in my old wallet. Only reason I re-downloaded the app and decided to place an order today was because someone at work gifted me a Starbucks gift card.Order placed 9:35am on the app as Im walking into the store, a simple Venti Pike with half and half. For some reason, app tells me itll be ready at 9:47am. No clue why it would take 12 mins but ok. Maybe the app is over-compensating and itll be ready early. Nope.9:47am hits. App tells me that my orders ready. The board in the shop tells me it is ready. But no coffee with my name appears. 9:53am, no coffee. Finally I manage to get an employees attention. Maybe somebody else took my cup. No she tells me that her colleague is working on it. Well the app said it was ready 6 minutes ago. So someones lying. Finally get my coffee at 9:56am.21 minutes from order to pickup for a simple coffee that any local NYC deli would fill in 30 seconds. What is this company doing? How are they so horribly mismanaged?And the worst part, I still have a balance of $20.70 left on the app.
Love the employees here, their awesome! Have such nice attitudes and do not let the criminals get away with interrupting the commuters and their customers. Came here 4 days in a row with a few of my friends for our weekend trip in the city. 10/10 recommend. Even when the place was packed we didnt wait longer than 15 mins total.
On multiple visit have had issues getting my drink made correctly, and after asking them to fix it I have gotten attitude everytime.

Worst ever! One employee curly hair black woman with a head band with 2 little poofy buns gave me an attitude and throw the creamer at me cos i forgot to tell her the first time! She did the same 2 hrs later to my friend! Very poor service,she should be fired imediatlly! Bad example!
I placed a mobile order and waited for it, even a little past my predicted time, and it never came. I was met with shrugs when I asked about it and had to go to work without lunch. I went back to explain what had happened and asked for another sandwich and they said they couldn’t do that and that I should have asked on the same day, even though I had.
There were three ladies here the morning I went and these gals killed it! Got my order and it was like all three of them were working on my drinks, and got them super fast! They were delicious none of them tasted burnt and this is the type of consistency I’d love to see at more Starbucks! I think this one let them choose the music and I loved it. Mary J Blige bumping in the morning was perfect. 100!

They never have all the cup sizes available. So have to buy the huge one. Not happy with that.
Ive never felt compelled to leave a google review before-- every time I come to this Starbucks location, they have the best music playing and the staff is so kind and upbeat-- they genuinely seem to be having fun which is a feat considering this is located at one of the busiest intersections in the city. Love it!

The drinks were okay. One of them were wrong but there was an issue with the card machine that created a frenzy for myself and a few other customers. Not a big deal but it did create confusion. I feel like the situation could of been handled a little differently but after the order was paid for the drinks came out fast.
Gotta say this is one of the best Starbucks I’ve been to during my stay in NYC. Even with huge crowds waiting to order or pick up coffee, you’re in and out quick. Shout out to Kin, he gave me a gift card for my wait, even though I was only waiting a few minutes. Loved watching him communicate to customers on when their drink orders would be coming and made sure each one of us that was waiting was getting their food and drink in a timely matter. Wish I had this crew at my local Starbucks.
Has to be consistently the worst Starbucks Ive ever been to. I work around the corner, and every few months I pop in on my way to the office, either because I forget how bad it is or I am curious to see if theyve turned things around. I usually order just a tall black coffee, and wind up waiting 10-15 minutes just to be told either they forgot my order or they ran out if drip coffee and that I need to get something else. Service is incredibly slow and the staff seem to frequently screw up orders. They are usually nice, friendly people, but I strongly suggest skipping this place and going to one of the 2 other Starbucks less than a block away, both are much better.

Great location. Good seating Upstairs.Poorly managed store:Staff lacks customer service training.Bathroom almost always out of order. Although I think they only close the bathroom to avoid cleaning it, if its even kept clean at all.2nd floor closed too soon. Maybe they should make it 9 pm instead of 7pm.Drinks come relatively quick given their business.This is a tough store so whoever manages to get this store together is worth their paycheck.
The food is interesting. That is, it tastes good. They have unique and different things that you may not find an other menus. I enjoyed what I ordered. And I would definitely go back again. The wait service was also very nice they were very friendly.
The cashier named “maya” is very rude and doesnt know how to talk to people, she also rolls her eyes.
Unless you have 15-20 mins to spare ( which most likely you don’t), be prepared to wait, have your order messed up as well as your name. One day I waited 15 mins and my name and order were butchered so bad. Its like they dont care. Its Its gotten worse over time. You best bet (if you have bo choice) is to order ahed on your mobile before getting off the bus.
THE WORST EXPERIENCE of my whole life with Starbucks. I ordered with app around 2:40pm and had to wait until everyone except me gets the drink. So I asked if there’s anything with my name on and then the barista starts to make mine. And the other worker told me not to just stand there and ask them? SO RUDE. It’s not MY fault that the barista didn’t even prepare my drink at all, it’s THEIR fault not managing the orders right. I also worked at Starbucks and this is so not right.
I was very perturbed by the attitude of one of your employees today. I visited the store at about 5.15 pm this afternoon, upon entering the store your employee said that they were closed so i simply asked how does the app say that closing time is 6pm but this store has been closing way before that time for a few days now and she rudely turned to me and said I am telling you we are closed. As a regular customer I felt totally disrespected. Your employees need to learn to respect its valued customers.

I was impressed with the service, not fast but accommodating. IN late one night and ordered decaf coffee. I got the usual Starbucks answer they were not serving decaf. I usually leave empty handed in the evening at Starbucks around the city, This time he offered to make a decaf americano for same price. Made my night and will be back. Great customer appreciation. Despite the busy location it was well run, clean and had friendly staff.

They to slow one person working three standing doing nothing. The line to wait and get your simple ice coffee take me 8 minutes. It was at 7:30 in the morning they should work as team not be a selfish. I hope management can do something about. I will visit again and get updates.
At $5 a coffee a washroom should be available and it would be nice if the staff was pleasant. Theres two washrooms on the premises, but they say the customer one is out of service and the other is staff only. The security guard seemed like a good guy.
The drink was really good, but the service was not great. When I ordered, I had to yell my order to the cashier because the music was incredibly loud, and when he asked my name, I spelled it out, but he couldnt hear that either because it was still wrong. my drink came quickly, but the loud music made it difficult to order. Please fix this issue. I know that other people have posted this, too. 🙂
This used to be my Favorite Starbucks prior to covid, unfortunately first day back to nyc and my drink has dirt and dust in it. You can clearly see it in my drink. Immiediately disappointed and disgusted as soon as i saw this. Sadly dont trust this location anymore.
Staff was friendly. Bathroom does not work and the upstairs seating is closed for no reason. The store is also dirty.
I came to nyc on vacation and this starbucks was one of the highlights of the trip! The baristas are so friendly and they made the best drinks i’ve had in a WHILE. Dreading going back to starbucks in the UK because i know it won’t compare 😔
I have frequented many Starbucks, but this one stands out as Absolutely the BEST, because they actually take the time to listen how I want my drink to be made!!!!! I work at night and I need a pick me up!!! This Starbucks has not failed me once. Whether Im there in the night or if I go in early in the morning, the service is Magnificent!!!!! I went in and started to go upstairs to make sure there was a seat near an outlet and that it was warm (it was 16 degrees out). I was stopped by a plain-clothed security guy (I can only assume he was actually working for Starbucks). He said I had to order coffee first. I explained that I didnt want to order anything if I wasnt going to be able to sit there. He persisted. I left. I dont need to be treated like a criminal by coffee shop bouncer.
Very bad customer service! I told the cashier to get a cup of water and she said she will let them know. When I got my order they didnt give water and I tried to talk to them and they ignored me! I talked with another employee and she pretended she didnt hear me and I raise my voice little bit just to make sure she is able to hear me and she gave that look like what the hell do you want? and I told her to get a water and she said they will get it for you!!
This place is always unorganized and unprofessional. Deondra or whoever her name is was incredibly rude and focused on flirting with her customer chris at the moment trying to get a discount on a LOL surprise electric scooter instead of focusing on her work and customers. So not only did she forget one of my drinks but had me and 3 others waiting until Mr. Chris was 200% taken care of. Maybe your employees should stop worrying about pocketing tips and getting discounts from their customers

So far as a Starbucks store is not that much big on order area but they have upstairs in need. Clean environment and service was great with fresh food::: Situated at corner of 8th Avenue & W 39th St. Manhattan NYC.
I bought 3 lattes and after waiting for 20 minutes I had to leave without them in order not to miss my bus. Too few workers for so many orders. Try to bring your coffee from somewhere else.
Every morning I’ve been there... it opens at least 10 minutes late. I wish I could rely on the posted opening hours

Clean place but they announced at 8pm that they were closing in 20 minutes, even though the Google listing shows it is supposed to be opened until 10pm on Sundays. Not super busy but theres been a steady stream of customers, so but sure why they decided to close early, unless the Google page has outdated hours.
Good luck getting your drink. I used to live across the street, so I would go to this Starbucks very often. 4 out of 5 times, I always had a problem. I am not a picky customer (those customers who annoyingly customizes their drink too much). I would always get simple things, like a latte, cappuccino, macchiato, etc. First of all, they ALWAYS take too long, even if you order it on the app. Most of the times they would either give me the wrong size, give me the wrong flavor, or simply just forget to make my drink. One time I waited almost 35 minutes for my coffee. Go to other Starbucks in the area. Theres one on 34th street between 8th and 9th Ave, and another one on 35th street and 7th Ave.
I went in last Wednesday morning. It was really early so I was surprised to see everyone working was genuinely chipper and pleasant.Edit: 2 years since I wrote my original review and in the middle of 2020, they are consistently still awesome.
I seriously cant understand why people complain so much about the queues in this place. It is an extremely busy location at a very busy intersection. The staff are fantastic they are friendly they are courteous they do the best they can under extreme circumstances and I love them for it. Starbucks should be proud of the employees at this location for the excellent level of service they provide in a very small coffee shop.

Starbucks is a place to get coffee. If youre employed there, Starbucks is a place to learn how difficult customer service can be. Humanity can be a real pain in the butt.But the workers at this Starbucks make it as fun as they can. When I entered, I walked into a great musical atmosphere, being able to sing along with Christina Aguilera as she was explaining why she was a genie in a bottle.We asked for decafs, which are a complicated process because only *those* people ask for decaf, and no coffee place properly brews decaf anymore.However, the person who helped us was attentive to our needs, even as the citizens of New York City poured in to stand in line to ask for coffee.Good job, Starbucks guy, and Starbucks employees! I truly felt like I was a genie in a bottle.
On Saturday , 02/01/2020, at about 3pm, after I waited online and was in a rush, a female employee who had glitter eye makeup (describing bc I never asked her name as I should have ), completely IGNORED ME as if I was invisible, and started taking an order from the man who was standing behind me. I interrupted her and told her I needed large coffee with hazelnut flavor. When I wanted to pay (I was also purchasing a snack), I couldn’t see the price, so I asked, “ how much??” To which she replied in a very rude manner like I was bothering her. After she served EVERYONE who was behind me, she got my order wrong. I told her I needed large. I also said she was very rude. She then dared to tell me “we treat everyone with respect here”. To which I replied that she was the one disrespecting me. Finally, she said ok I’ll make u large just by adding more coffee. BUT SHE RAN OUT of coffee and started to make a new pot without telling me that I had to wait EVEN LONGER. She NEVER CORRECTED HER ERROR AND NEVER APILOGIED. I had to wait another 5-10 minutes till another, nice employee finally interfered to help by using a different kind of coffee. I hope the manager sees this complaint. The nasty and unprofessional employee made me late for my appointment- that’s on top of being rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful.
The PABT Starbucks crew is incredible. They handle hoards of tired commuters every day with grace, kindness and flare. Hats off to these heroes.
For a staff that works in one of the main commuter hubs in one of the busiest cities in the country, they have zero sense of urgency and most of them dont seem to know how to make the most basic of drinks. I order a simple drink from them most days when Im commuting and it continually comes out incorrect. Skip this Starbucks and go to one of the other 700 in NYC.
Worst experience that I have ever had at a Starbucks!!! Stopped in on a Sunday morning around 8am, the staff of 5 helped prep a three coffee order and ignored the other customers patiently waiting. Extremely rude staff... They couldnt be bothered with more than one customer at a time in NYC?!? I finally got frustrated and went down the street for a cup of coffee and breakfast at a small deli with actual customer service!
I arrived carrying multiple heavy bags and clearly in desperate need of a place to sit (but also obviously not disreputable or in any way a bother.) I went up to the counter and ordered a decaf coffee, but was told they were out. Due to various restrictions I am unable to have anything else at the store, and I informed the barista of this and requested that I be allowed to sit in the store anyway until the person I was meeting arrived. The store was perhaps half-full and emptying rather than filling. The barista denied my request and watched impassively as I wandered around the station, struggling with my bags every step of the way for the next half hour (as I was unable to find anywhere else with open seating.)This was an awful experience and I fully expect not to buy from Starbucks again.
I just walked in here after work and the barista jermaine was just happy and energetic. He let me know right away my order was coming up even though I had just placed it in the mobile app and he was just in such a good mood. I left smiling. Coming back here instead of 6th ave from now on
Second and last time I come to this Starbucks, which is unfortunate because they have alot of workable space. If youre expecting to stay late to work upstairs, forget about it because they close the upstairs early, forcing you to sit by the window downstairs where there are no outlets. Also bathroom was out of order because they were out of paper towels. Instead of being nice or apologetic about it, with an attitude, they (the supervisor) offered the port of authority or a cup of I really had to go. Unacceptable customer service.
I try to avoid putting bad reviews, and especially this specific Starbucks, theyre great.However, this one girl working bar at 11am June 20th changed my mind. Ive worked at Starbucks for a year, and I always loved my job. My store places kindness and being personable at utmost importance, so her attitude shocked.I placed an online order for To-Go. I saw my order and grabbed it (2 drinks and 2 bagels). I walked to her and kindly asked can I have a carrier please? She ignored me and then after a long pause, she rudely dropped what she was doing, turned to me, and responded a carrier? as if I didnt place my order as To-Go in the first place, and she was the one at fault.I understand you see these type of workers everywhere, but at Starbucks? Im just surprised shes even still there, for her own good. If you dont like the job, get a new one. Dont ruin peoples day. Starbucks training focuses on MAKING peoples day, as you (the coworker) are the first person customers see when they start their day. Im disappointed, everyone else there is so kind; keep doing what you guys are doing.
Great atmosphere for relaxing or even getting some work done. Nice comfortable seating and ample space so you dont feel claustrophobic in a place full of coffee drinkers!! Enjoy!!
This Starbucks in particular is always crowded, too crowded for how small of a space it is. I get what I need rather quickly, but as mentioned in other reviews the staff here is more of the “get you in and out asap ” attitude. Not very friendly, but I don’t come here to be friendly I just come here for my tea lol
Worst Starbuck i have been. Granted i know is busy, but twice i have been there and i had to get a refund. I waited 20 minutes and nobody made my drink they just watched me stand there pacing back and forth. I love Starbuck but this location has just ruin it for ime. Stay away from this location
The staff is pretty cool, but I wish theyd stop selling expired lemon cakes.Twice I ordered lemon cakes and the plastic stated it expired months ago!! I didnt notice until I was at work and had to turn back which is annoying.
Amazed at how good a Starbucks this was. Long line but moved quickly. Very conscientious staff. Mind-blowingly good latte. I always stop here on my way to the Javitz Center from Penn Station. Not good for hanging out, get it to go.
I give Starbucks a 10 star because you can download the app place an order and by the time you get to the place they have everything waiting for you so you dont have to wait. People always courtesy and if they mess up your order which they rarely do, they will give you another one on the house. The place is always clean and I love me some Starbucks on 8th Avenue and 39th Street, New York
Who doesnt love Starbucks?! I dont even drink coffee, but their tea & other beverage selections are delicious. Yes, Starbucks is a bit pricey for a cup of tea of joe, but this location is in Midtown Manhattan. Also, it nice to be able to use their restroom before standing on line to order. Theres aldo tons of seating.
It shouldnt be hard for Starbucks to make espresso; but this double shot was disgusting. The staff here was obviously inexperienced but its disappointing that they couldnt make the cornerstone of coffee, the espresso is where all coffee drinks should stem from. Too caught up in sweet drinks, food and merch. Shame on you Starbucks.
TERRIBLE SERVICE and Poor management. The orders are terribly slow. It took them almost 30 min to get my order and there was 3 people ahead when I arrived, who had already ordered. There were at least 6 employees working and laughing like the line wasnt building up with customers. Most of which left because of the slow service.The guy who took my order wrote the wrong name, I assume as a joke, and further delayed the service.This location needs new staff.
As my wife stood in line, I had to use the restroom. I am severely handicapped from Dementia, Parkinson’s, 2 bad knees, lumbar and cervical severe pain, and knee replacement are started in January 2019. Yet, I was denied access, telling me to go elsewhere. This is after Starbucks closed for a day for diversity training, yet I am white. If a restaurant has less than 19 seats in NYC, they don’t require public restrooms. If I eat, I wash my hands, period! I am going back today to count seats. Lawsuit if I find more seats, or established after 1977. Either way, I am a 30 year career in IT with NASA, so I know how to research and get email address or the company syntax. I drink Starbucks everyday, best is Sumatra and I buy 3-6 bags every 2 weeks. I am changing brands and return my Starbucks. I have always kept receipts.
They forgot about my cinnamon bun and I had to wait 10-15 minutes. I asked why it was taking so long and the girl said, Its on its way. It was not on its way until the girl told the other girl I was still waiting.

Coming from Australia I was looking forward to experiencing Starbucks , might have been good if they had got my order right , not once but 3 times wrong. Tried to order a cameral cappuccino but got a cappuccino. I mean if they didnt have a cameral cap why not say this when I ordered it, and when they thought we wanted 3 coffees one time instead of two the guy behind the counter said are you kidding me!? , and I asked for a flat white and was looked at like I was not speaking English I settled on a latte, that seemed to spark some recognition. Customer service a bit hit and miss, unfortunate as Im a gracious tipper and for them , they miss out.
One of the baristas had a bad attitude unnecessarily. Nobody provoked her. One bad interaction can ruin someone’s day. Train your location to be nicer to people.

6:09am, still not open. Supposed to have been open now for 9 minutes. In a busy hub such as port authority where people come and go all the time rushing to make sure they catch their trains and busses it is completely reckless and unprofessional for the store not to open on time. Eventually I went to Au Bon Pain to get coffee, Starbucks was still not open when I left.
I’m an incredibly basic person. Every morning no matter where I am, I punish myself with a hot chocolate every single work day despite being lactose intolerant. I’ve left probably 2 reviews for places in my life. I’ve been to at least 20 Starbucks in the city.Every time I come to this Starbucks, which is unfortunately the only one on the way to my new job, the same young woman makes my drink. She fills it every time, without fail, halfway. I get a medium drink. It may as well be the children’s size. I spend $3.97 for a half filled cup of hot chocolate. This morning is the 5th time in two weeks I’ve gone back again to have it remade. In my life I’ve only sent undercooked french toast back and a rare instead of medium rare hamburger.I’d rather walk outside from 7th to 8th instead of walking through the 7-8 ave tunnel to get the most basic item they have on the menu besides black coffee than come here ever again willingly. I think I will.They only get two stars because when this woman isn’t making my drink, whoever is always can manage the job perfectly.
Hot teas seem to take forever while other more complex drinks are done immediately. I always have to ask for my hot tea, then they will pour the hot water in a cup w tea bag.. simple.
Cashier supposedly put $20 on my Starbucks card. When I tried to use it at another Starbucks it had only the original $5 on the card! How disappointing😩 Crew leader Gabby was rude a didnt care. Horrible service! Dont put money on Starbucks cards. Called corporate ripped offs!
Holy crap. This has to be one of the worst Starbucks. Avoid this place. Weird staff maybe on drugs. I ordered a grande iced coffee with cream and vanilla. The cashier then hands me a regular coffee, no cream, no vanilla and a tall size! I immediately tell him I paid for a grande iced coffee with cream and vanilla. Without saying anything, the cashier pours it into a grande sized cup and adds cream to it. I walked to the back to ask someone else to add vanilla and this idiot squirts 8 pumps of syrup!!! I tried to drink it but it was horrible. IDIOTS.
Absolutely love the wide varieties of Coffee. I can go for a cold or hot coffee.. Sweet or black.. Small, medium or large cup sizes. Beware it might become your next addiction 😄

The worst Starbucks experience ever. Staff were completely inconsiderate. While there was a huge queue of customers, 1 staff member was on the till while 3 were cleaning cups. 20 minute wait...and no apololgy.

Make sure you tell the staff what you want very clearly. I thought I did, but they still got my order wrong couple of times. Anyways, this particular location has a second floor with many seats/table. Great for quick meeting or working on your laptop.Bathroom lock code is now indicated on the lock pad.
The place is big but is really annoying that you want to drink something sitting on a chair and there is a lot of chairs upstairs and the second floor is not working because they said is close!! The restrooms are disgusting and even there is no paper towels.. so the worst Starbucks ever

Not so good service, didnt call out names prior to giving out drinks, causes my drink got taken by some kids, and I got the drink that has some whipped cream on, and I got stomachache..... after drinkingThe reason I gave it two stars because the lady that serve there help me to clear the whipped cream...
I really loved this place, the people attending it, were super kind and friendly, I would definitely come back just for being treated as they did. The best Starbucks I have ever been in.
Horrible service the staff are busy joking around or eating in the back no regard for customer service the drink taste watered down after 15 mins waiting after 2 request for my drink no sorry just a (its on the way i just dropped it). Never again i would drive 10 miles more for a starbuck or walk in to a deli for a simple coffee.
It’s sad to see the inefficiency of this location. More people working then waiting on drinks and no one is getting their order. Been here many times same story each time. You will wait 10-15 for a regular brew while 10 people are behind the counter…

Super busy location a block from port authority bus station. Still, orders came out fast and staff was moving the line at a fast pace while being personable and friendly.
The coffee was good. I know the branch in heavy area but the its not clean at all the floors and the counters and the restroom was disastrous
I hope they fix the diversity issue. Everyone needs to learn the buying power of Americas minorities. If minorities stopped buying for a day in this country many businesses will file a chapter.
Starbucks always does best to please thats why I love going there they always try to satisfy the customer if youre not satisfied they will appease
What horrible staff. Skip this location, very unpleasant people to order with, not helpful, not nice, not listening. Totally ignorant. Do not go here. Too bad because the place looks nice with the big windows and lots of seating.
Almost no outlets, if you come be sure to have a charged laptop. They also have wireless chargers for phones on the shared tables, but for 110, i found only two and one of them wasn’t even working.
I wish I could giv a zero star. Waited almost 30 min for a mobile order. Finally got a cold sandwich.

Always is a great time to get a coffee before work, all the employees are making sure the coffee gets done fast and great. It only took them 3 minutes to get my coffee and the sandwich.
This is the worst Starbucks Ive ever been to. 1st visit, no black tea. 2nd visit, only Earl Grey. Crowded, understaffed, surly baristas and offensive rap at 9 AM on a Sunday morning.

2nd floor seating is nice because space is a luxury, but not really maintained. Also only 1 outlet available so its often taken up.
A great Starbucks location. These guys were pumping the Christmas music and having fun whilst making the coffee flow. Will be back for sure.
Not many people to work. They dont save plastic neither paper. It took 15 minutes to get a ham and swiss croissant.
If youre in hurry, Id recommend skipping this Starbucks. While the staff is friendly, the service is notably slow. My frappe didnt match the usual standard either. Consider nearby alternatives for a quicker and smoother experience.

We got there in the morning and they were not prepared because the staff showed up to open the store late that day. We were pushed back and forth because shipments were being brought in through the main line area.

Very filthy, the counter had spills and dust all over. Also, someones weave or hair extension was on the counter top. I cringe to think about how filthy inside the coffee machines are
Good location and pretty quick service but they had to remake my order twice. First, they added oat milk (clearly asked whole milk and had to pay for it as i didnt catch it when i paid. When tasting the coffee, they had to add more milk- thats how i figured it out. Then, on the remake, they forgot the caramel (paid for) but the lady added it (teluctantly). But the coffee, after multiple attempts, was good and like I said- good, bustling location haphazard service from the batista.

I’ve seen the Supermarket of the future by Amazon.The Starbucks Cafe at the corner of 35th & 8th Ave, NYC is managed by Amazon and it has a restricted merchandise area, which has no attendance, cashier, or self-checkout counters. This no payment checkout process took me by surprise because I was clueless and am glad I didn’t touch every item in the store.You enter by getting your hand palm scanned and by inserting your credit card into the reader, then the gate will open allowing entry.Once inside, I decided to buy 5 NYC mugs for $12.95 + tax = $14.05 each and brought them to the pickup counter, which was partially inside the merchandise area. The Barista took me totally by surprise by saying “They have already been paid for as soon as you touched them.”I checked my bank account and noticed that Amazon Go had debited my account by $64.05, which meant I only paid $12.81 for each mug. I then checked my Starbucks app to see if I was awarded any star points and got none. This maybe why I was charged less.I ❤️the shopping marts of the future.

I literally only gave an extra star for the 3 employees that are always super friendly to me. Besides that, this location is terrible lol. Many of the baristas are either too lazy to read what you actually want or just want to rush making the drinks because it’s crowded, and they have messed up at least three times on my drinks ordered ahead of time. The staff is seemingly also aware of homeless people coming in and supposedly taking peoples drinks but have placed no barriers to initiate any type of prevention. While a few on the team is nice and make great drinks, I really don’t have the patience to continue coming here; the drinks aren’t worth the possible headache. Now the Starbucks location literally down the block on 7th is better, nicer service, and the drinks are made to perfection each time. While it’s slightly inconvenient, it’ll be my way moving forward.

A regular starbucks, that has frequents rushes of people. Power outlets are almost nonexistent. There is a second level that has ample seating.

The barista was loudly shout-singing the baby shark song. Not entirely sure what was going on with that. Products/coffee were as anticipated from Starbucks and the location has plenty of seating.

If I could, I wouldn’t even be giving one star because of the rude staff working on Christmas evening at around 4:10 pm—worst customer service. The lady taking the order along with the serving lady was rude, and also she missed some of the orders and then the attitude of the other lady staff oh my god. I have been to many Starbucks branches but have never been served with this attitude and rudeness.
Plenty of seating. Good for a quick stop to rest your feet after a whole day of wandering about the city.

Overflowing garbage cans everywhere. Poorly maintained store . Rude server will argue with you for the mistakes they made. Skipped my order for serving the people she knew. Paid for 4 cups of beverage and only after skipping me twice the server gives me 3 cups (with wrong type of beverage) and claimed my friend grabbed the fourth one and went upstairs. After I explained my order, requested her to check my receipt and was about to call my friend downstairs only then she would agree on her mistakes.

So, this is a small and extremely busy Starbucks, and if you are in a rush its much better to go literally down 35th to 7th Ave which is bigger and they are much nicer. Now dont get me wrong, it isnt always bad service but today, there was a barista p I believe her tag said and she makes a good drink, but has a horrible attitude. Like no matter how busy you get you are still in the service industry. So you should be a little friendly. I mean I watched this guy who forgot to add any flavoring to his coffee, and asked if they could give him milk and syrup in a cup so he could make it himself, which by itself isnt too big of a deal, mistakes happen but she very rudely stated next time order it 😒 I mean at least he didnt ask you to make it 😉 Ive been in there when they had super nice people but today Feb 23rd was not one of those days. I mean I literally ordered off the menu and the girl put the order in wrong and when I asked for caramel on top it seemed to piss her off.. but hey! At least my drinks good.
Bad experience one of them she was making the coffee i asked her for hand sanitizer she had a very bad attitude her face the way how she talk then i asked for my food cause i got my coffee and i was waiting for few minutes no food when i asked her her she was like ( i only do coffees i have no idea about your food ) i was shocked and i will never be there again

The girl taking our order (Friday morning) was incredibly rude, I couldnt believe it, I had met only nice people in NY, visiting for the first time. Coffee was good, but it wasnt nice to start the day being treated like that for no reason.

They have gone above and beyond each time - and I only say this because very few number of starbucks locations were able to make my shaken espresso with customizations to its full flavorful taste.
