Starbucks

I ordered a regular coffee with cream and sugar and it did not taste good. The coffee was super bitter and the roasted tasted burnt. I’m not a fan of Starbucks. Also was a bit expensive/over priced considering it was regular large coffee. Would not recommend. 👎👎

We are currently sitting here on Christmas Day enjoying food and delicious drinks. The staff are amazing! Really made us feel welcomed and were so helpful. What an amazing start to our Christmas Day! Happy holidays from our small Kiwi family!

Edited* This review is not for the African American gentleman that made/handed me my drink (if he made it) because he was friendly and polite. Although whoever made it missed the fact that I had asked for no foam on my mobile order, I don’t blame them because it happens. This review is for the lady that wore glasses (Hispanic I think?) that helped me after. I don’t normally check my drinks because I trust that the baristas know what they’re doing. But I checked to make sure there was no milk foam in my coffee today because I don’t like it. When I told the lady at the drink station, she very sarcastically said “okay, remove the top” so I removed the lid and she scoops out the foam and simply hands me back my coffee. Mind you, this coffee was almost $6 and after scooping the foam out, a whole chunk of coffee is missing. If I wanted to pay $6 for a coffee that’s not even full, I would’ve just made it myself. I have gotten coffee before with foam (even after asking no foam), but I usually let it go because I’ve left the store by then. But let’s be honest, Starbucks coffee is not cheap and most customers want to get what they pay for. I can’t help but feel that I was gipped. For the lady that “helped” me today, if you see this and think your customer service was okay, it’s not but hopefully it’ll improve.

Employee Recognition: LANCE from store 00831Lance greets me by name every single time I enter the store, and takes extra time to make my drink precisely how I like it.Typically, I only go to store 00831 because Lance makes the encounter extra special. Taking his time to scoop off all the extra foam from the shaken espresso, and filling my Venti cup to the rim are the small details that make the 10 minute trip worth it. Groovy chill place, sign badly lit.This Starbucks is nice, chill warm atmosphere. Good place to meet with friends & catch up or break out the books/computer and study. However, they have no illuminated sign, and unless you know where to look, you will easily miss this Starbucks after dark. So I subtract one star from what might otherwise be a perfect rating. Its right next to the Dunkin Donuts if that helps.

One of the baristas refuses to regularly make the coffee we order. Let me explain the situation, we order coffee that has a lot of powder in it and we ask not to mix the powder with the coffee. We have never had any problems with this order; everyone calmly agrees to fulfill it. However, one of the baristas in this cafe refuses to do it for the second time, explaining to us that it is unsafe. We appreciate the concern for visitors, but we are not stupid, and firstly we understand the risk, and secondly, the powder in the water becomes wet and no one will suffocate on it. When we politely asked to make it the way we wanted, she continued to tell us that she would not make it, and began to be indignant and loudly discuss this in front of us with another barista. We have no complaints about the other employee; the girl willingly helps us get the drink we want.After our order was completed, barista threw a straw on the table and didn’t want to talk to us anymore. The barista didn’t have a name tag.Customer service is a very difficult and important thing. And we appreciate concern for our health, but if we ourselves ask to do as we want and drink this coffee, it is not necessary to behave rudely and demonstratively show hostility.

Oh what a great Starbucks !!! I’ve been to hundreds- nay thousands of Starbucks , and I must confess this one is so nice and homey. The vibe and location of this Starbucks is perfect.

The cashier Mark is extremely rude and unpleasant. From the time we walked in he was very dismissive and did not want to help us. My drink was made with almond milk instead of oat milk and when I returned to tell him that I did not like the drink and the wrong milk was used he said “ you already paid for it you have to drink it. Go talk to her” and pointed at the barista. He continuously made remarks under his breath as we walked away and kept staring at us with a disgusted look. I really think Mark needs to re-evaluate his attitude if he will be working in customer service, or maybe find another job if he doesn’t like interacting with people from a different demographic. Horrible customer service and management should be aware

This starbucks is very convenient for me, but you can definitely tell that it’s very new. the baristas are still getting the hang of things. there’s very limited seating here and no bathroom. closest restroom is at fairway or chipotle. there’s great lighting here

The guys at the store are so friendly and the energy is great. Most importantly, the service is outstanding!!! They have a great knowledge of all the products served. There was a super busy crowd and the two gentlemen took care of the crowd expeditiously!!!!! I stopped here Saturday, November 13 at 1 pm —Absolute best service I’ve ever received at Starbucks!!

Goes above and beyond. I feel valued as a customer

You go in in there and get ignored by the 3 Asian guys that work there. Then there’s a guy that’s 7ft tall that’s just as rude. Literally a line of people and not one of them even asks or looks over to take our order. Once they finally head to the register it’s almost like you’re bothering them.

Freddy at the cash was so friendly and kind. It’s a gift to have energy like that when people are cycling in and out getting their orders. My caramel brûlée latte and spinach feta wrap was what I need to start the day 💚❤️

Typically a reliable and high quality Starbucks. But tonight closed an hour earlier than the Starbucks app said. Theres no inclement weather or reason offered for closing early. I dont know why this has become the new norm for Starbucks around here.

The server was quiet helpful & friendly, but I was told the restroom was out of order when it wasnt. Manager refused to let me use it, even after I identified myself as an NYPD officer. Theres a big sign on the Bathroom door stating out of order. I guess they rather deny service than actually clean it & supply it with tissue. Very bad for business!!!

The morning staff of this Starbucks has always been very kind to me. Ive only interacted with their afternoon staff once or twice but it was very much the same, al positive experiences. One suggestion though, and this goes for many of he Starbucks throughout the city: The public use electrical outlets are often loose and charging plugs fall out very easily. Perhaps the company should consider replacing the housings with more modern ones. It will likely take time and money but I think it would be a helpful idea in the long run. Other than that, Ive had largely positive experiences at Starbucks.

Good if you need your Starbucks order to go. If you otherwise need a place to pass time or work on your laptop, this isnt it. The dining area is small with just a few seats. It gets packed real fast and is also not the cleanest. There is a for-customers-only restroom but Im not sure how tidy it is.

I ordered three simple drinks, the cashier is new didn’t process my order correctly, the young black girl verified the drinks with me and corrected the cashier in how he placed my order but the funny thing was she got my drink wrong when I approached her at it she was very rude and disrespectful she fixed my drink but was talking back to me yelling at me. Will never got back to this place.

The best Starbucks in NYC. The absolute nicest barista who take their time and prepare every drink with care. The store could be slammed but they never show their stress and maintain that warm and friendly demeanor.

Management refuses to update the app offerings and is rude when you remind them that something they have in stock is showing as out on the app. It’s been 4 weeks and several FYI’s about this issue.

Definitely sketch… I go to Starbucks every day and order the same things. I know what to expect. I have to assume this particular franchise owner is trying to skimp on product. They didn’t fill either of our drinks, one Trenta and one Grande… not even close to the top. I’d been given what would have been less than a venti size in my trenta cup initially… and my boyfriend was given a tall serving in a grande cup. We had to request they fill mine, but we were so over the experience when we got my boyfriend’s drink that we left. They did apologize for the second, but I’d take a closer look at how this location is run and wouldn’t recommend visiting unless some changes are made. Only redeeming point to this visit was Shania and her friendly personality while ordering.

Its starbucks, however this location must allow their employees to play their own music at night. They were playing rap music (which Im a fan of) but had tons of cursing in it, and I was there with my 4 year old (not a fan of having him hear cursing in Starbucks). Totally unprofessional.

Visited this Starbucks on Saturday and line was huge, we missed our ferry. They served one item from an order & then served 3 other people, and then they completed our order. Was weird & long.

Everyone knows about Starbucks so I will comment about the actual place. I went there with my daughter with wheelchair. I like that it has an accessible entrance. Inside is a bit narrow though. People had to move some chairs so we could pass. But great service!

Great place for breakfast , lunch and of cource a great cup of coffee. Plenty of seats, staff super nice , restaurant and restrooms very clean. They get your coffee right, and its hot. Nice quiet place to unwind or even have a small meetingThumbs up for this location🥛🥛

Worst Starbucks I have been to I was in a hurry. I said heh im in a hurry do you have any scones ready. The guy says yeah coming right up. They put it in the bag I reach for it. The guy goes wait we have to call your name first. My bag goes to the back of the line thats like 15 bags deep. If im not waiting to get a drink why cant I just have my scone? I just left without it you guys suck

It’s a decent Starbucks in an ideal location. The wait times for drinks can be a bit long. It’s definitely an in and out kinda place, I wouldn’t hangout there.

Latte came out perfect! I will revisit this location.

This location is nicer for me mainly because the staff is very friendly and the music was more my style. I will be visiting again soon. Ill be recommending this one!

Stopped by this Starbucks location recently to purchase 2 bags of the Decaf Sumatra and as always, the staff was fantastic! Special thank you to Brianna and Kasandra - friendly, welcoming and accommodating! Thank you!

My wife ordered a dragon fruit drink no ice (( since the cups are 98% ice))) & asked for ice on the side. She also asked them to put extra dragon fruit.They gave her a cup half full and said the other half can either be water or ice. To make matters worse the entire dragon drink was weak and basically diluted with water and never had the extra my wife asked for.All other starbucks ive been to have no issues putting extra scoops of powder mixes or flavor syrups. As long as it fits in the cup, you are allowed to order to your taste. Now I had to go back myself and demand the appropriate drink and they gave me a full cup with dragon fruit , with the extra flavor and no ice.Be aware and make sure you get what you paid for.

Best service, wonderful suggestions and my food was nice and hot. Worth making the trip to this location

I stopped coming to this Starbucks months ago because I had a very bad experience with their night crew manager but I came in earlier this morning and the handsome young man alongside the 2 young ladies behind the bar were extremely polite and kind. Despite having to deal with rude customers he kept his composure and responded with kindness. They were very funny and I enjoyed my experience this time around along with their new renovation. Kudos to them and promotion/raise is well deserved for them.

As a cab driver I have tried the most Starbucks in the city and I can say thats is the best of them all thanks guys

I asked for hot coffee first wasnt hot and not fresh. when I spoke to them they said no its fresh. Very bad very bad.

Typical Starbucks fare. The lobby and seating area is small and can be crowded depending on the time you go. Get your stuff to go.

This is the slowest Starbucks I have ever been in. When it is so close to NYU where there are a lot of employees coming they need to speed it up a little bit :)

So this store was always known for having ample seating and outlets plus a clean public restroom. Starbucks marketed themselves as a coffee shop where people could sit and work. Not anymore! Baristas are still lovely, but seating is reduced now to 7, all outlets but 2 are removed and aren’t near seating, and bathroom is gone. The tables are now bistro height making those with mobility issues difficult to use. Huge disappointment on the part of the design team!

An enjoyable Starbucks, in my opinion.I visited here while in Manhattan for the day, and my experience was positive. The staff were fast with my order; the espresso was fresh, and as Id specified; the dining room was clean, and comfortably sized. Likewise, the bathroom was well-maintained. All in all, the restaurant proved to be a good place to sip coffee and read a book (though, one improvement I would suggest is some cushioning on the back of the bench seats, which dug into my spine in a bad way).Much thanks to everyone who runs this restaurant. Keep up the good work :)

Wednesday 4/26 AM shift lead was sour & slow and partner experience was mediocre. Customer connection needs major improvements. These are the Starbucks stores that are embarrassing to the brand. Sincerely, a former partner.

I ordered threw mobile app a sandwich and a earl grey tea tall, i waited for a very long time and had to remind them on the register about my order, it turned out they forgot about my order they didnt accomodate and gave me attitude like if i was the stupid one i wouldnt order from here at all from the app and i would walk to the next location.

My daughter goes in and knows what to order for me and my granddaughter I like a frozen drinks. I dont know the name. Sorry, I can only it was delicious.

Monday morning. Out of mocha, out of turkey bacon. Customer in front of me returning iced coffee drink because they had put in wrong ingredient.

Smaller narrow space but highlighted with established happy staff who play serious hip hop and current R&B favs. This place after 5pm feels like youve entered a dance club with some serious notes during the week. Usual Starbucks menu and drinks. Could be a bit cleaner though.

Absolutely love the store, Jonathan is my fav. His energy and presence is always welcoming, once he remembers your face, hell have your drink waiting for you before you get to the bar.

Most of the staff are very friendly. But it can be too crowded. Being the city be careful of the homeless people. One time waiting for the restroom, eventually got staff to open the door. There was a guy on the floor, an obvious OD.

Ive gone to this Starbucks for quite some time. Although I only order a coffee, I think customer service should be at its peak. The cashier with dreadlocks always has a sarcastic attitude. GDAY MISS The other employees just laugh it off. She REALLY needs to receive proper training in manners.

The bathroom for customers was out of order. If customers spend money(patronize) then they should have the option to relieve themselves if need be.

I am truly disappointed in the lack of customer service I received today by the barista at this location. I have visited numerous Starbucks and am a frequent customer whose order never changes. I unfortunately suffer from a heart condition which makes me limit my caffeine consumption. Due to that my order for several years has been a white hot chocolate with whip cream and caramel drizzle. Upon entering the establishment I was met by an amazing team member whom took my order. Unfortuanlty my amazing experience ended at the cashier and did not move on as I did to the barista. Not only was my order made incorrectly 3 times. I called the store after realizing my order was again incorrect upon exiting the store and was immediately placed incontact with the barista. She stated to me that hot chocolate are only made mocha. I explained to her that when she made my order incorrectly the 1st I advised her it was not to have mocha in it. She stated to me that hot chocolates can only be made with mocha which came to my surprise as I have had my hot chocolate without mocha at over 5 location over 2 years. I am truly shocked and appalled at the service and attitude I received. I once did an ethics review of Starbucks as a whole and they are known for their excellent customer service and treatment of their partners. Sad to say this team member did not meet the standard expectation and I would never EVER visit this location and will be sure to spread the word. Not only was this team member rude but she completed disregard a valid health concern that could have immediately put me at risk.

Literally the only reason I bought an $8 frappe was to use the wifi and not mooch. I had to ask four different times if someone could turn it on. I kept eating the message that this was not a participating starbucks. I shouldnt have to sit for an hour and be talked down to when I could have sat there and had no wifi without being a paying customer. If you dont interact with the staff its a fine place, but god forbid you need them to do anything besides chitchat and gossip with each other. What a waste of time.
