Not sure why all the bad reviews for it being busy during times youd expect it to be. We came on our way to the memorial. Very convenient, quick and friendly staff. At 1pm there was no wait. Im sure its busy at rush hour times, so expect a wait.
Horrible experience. I went on Sunday around 5 pm, and the girl who took my order was especially rude. She refused to accept my rewards app because ‘I wasn’t American.’ I’d like to point out that she never asked if I was from the U.S., and although I wasn’t born here, I’ve been living here for a while. I tried to explain that the app was American and not from another country, but she still refused to process it. I felt discriminated against, and this person shouldn’t be working with the public.
Went in here for a coffee and to break a large note as needed smaller bills. She refused to accept it a d said it was company policy not to accept bills higher than order value. Didnt take name for order, didnt offer a straw - not the best service at all. Have always used larger bills for breakfasts and coffees as deem these to be safer than carts.
This store is extremly understaffed . They had Only ONE girl working on the drinks and the line was outside of the store . The poor girl looked so stressed . Shame on starbucks . Do better
I walk in and I’m standing behind two women. One Asian woman and a white woman. The cashier takes their order, fixes their order and instead of taking me next he takes a man that just walks in! I tell him I was next and he keeps taking the man’s order! He sees I’m upset and then proceeds to pretend he didn’t see me. The store wasn’t crowded at all! I walked out! This is for the Starbucks CEOs and the owner of this location. Your prices are too high for your employees to be providing terrible customer service! I come here daily! I will not be coming back! And tell the cashier without regular customers he should be worried about his job!
On June 9th at 10:44 a.m. I decided to order a sandwich. Once I arrived at the store, I noticed that the lady (I dont know if shes a manager.) She was handling the customers orders in their hands.Once She called my name. I approached the counter and she looked at me ( in an uncomfortable matter, I dont know. Its because I was a young black lady ) instead of her giving my sandwich in my hand she placed it down and proceeded to walk away. I then, stopped her and asked her for a bag. Instead of her opening the bag and placing my sandwich in the bag like she did for a previous customer, she decided to give me the bag for me to grab my sandwich and place it in the bag.Now what made me feel very uncomfortable, She helped every customer that was in front of me the right way now when it got down to me. Its like you can help yourself.... My concern is why treat black people differently? Why cant we all get the same treatment because when we bleed it stills red right? I dont think its blue, black or whiteThis made me feel very uncomfortable this was very unprofessional I pray this matter is fixed and the next time I order at this locationI hope I am treated equally.

I love coming to this location. The upbeat attitude from the baristas can put you in such a good mood. They also make amazing drinks, better than other locations Ive been to in the area.
There are not enough nice words that I can find to thank all of the kind, patient, helpful and super professional baristas at this Starbucks in the Oculus. Several times now I have brought my students here in a class trip for coffees and snacks and they go above and beyond. Our most recent excursion brought us there on Sunday April 3 and they did not disappoint. A special shout out of thanks for Minerva who was especially kind and helpful. When you visit lower Manhattan and you are getting your Subway train in this terminal, you must stop by this Starbucks for coffee, snacks and the kindness of all the baristas which is contagious! Thanks, again!Update: I brought my students back again on a class trip to Manhattan and Minerva, Maya and the rest of the Starbucks team here at the Oculus once again gave all of us tremendous and super professional customer service. Thank you again for a great experience.
I stumbled upon this Starbucks by accident - its kind of hidden but super convenient for a quick grab-and-go. Theyve got a bunch of folks behind the counter, so my drink was ready in a jiffy after ordering through the app. The place was neat, and the staff were friendly. Im definitely planning on visiting again soon!To find it, just head to the World Trade Center subway station and take the exit. If youre in the Oculus, go near the Apple Store and find the hallway. Go up the stairs (you might need to take the escalator and then the stairs if youre on the main level). Like others have said, the staff here is really great! 🚶♂️☕👌

The place is clean and my order is always accurate, but the service is painfully slow. There are times I order on the app 15 minutes before I get there and when I get there it still is not ready. I never have this issue at Dunkin downstairs, my stuff is always ready and waiting for me when I arrive

Very hidden only noticed when I walked by accidentally. It’s very convenient to have it here, just grab and go. They have multiple staff working with the drink that was quick received after ordering from app. The store was clean the staff are nice. Will be back again very soon!

My name is SAMANTHA not NICK… and the woman with her iPad kept assuring me she checked on my order when i tried telling her it’s been 15 minutes and I’m running late to work i said i gotta go snapped my fingers to show her I’m trying to move fast and she responded with DONT YOU SNAP YOUR FINGERS AT ME!!To be CLEAR i wasn’t snapping my fingers at her / nor was i telling HER what to do … i was telling her what I HAD TO DO- which was hurry and catch a train to work . The victim mentality is old.Her telling me i did a mobile order when i ordered at the register is sloppy work as well .She couldn’t get my name or order correctly and then forced me to STARE AT MY LATTE FOR 15 minutes before realizing it had the wrong name…. Only after i asked 4 times to check.I get it’s stressful but when a customer asks to find their order - find it… OR MAKE A NEW ONE don’t tell them An incorrect order isn’t ready for them - they aren’t being heard and late to work out of poor attitude and incompetence.

When I thought all hope was lost in finding a Starbucks that could make a good hot chai latte. Ive come here 3 times already and so far my chai latte has been on point. The baristas are pretty friendly and move pretty fast. It can get crowded quickly, but they move the line and have upbeat attitudes. Also this Starbucks is more of a order to go. Theres no seating inside, but you can hang out and sit downstairs where theres a big seating area and some restaurants.
Extremely disappointed in the work ethic of the staff. If you don’t want to work do go in to work. I arrived at this location at 7:45. This location is supposed to close at 8pm. I arrived to find the door locked. The employees were all sitting behind the counter talking and starting at me wondering why they weren’t open. Very unprofessional.
Nothing too different to other Starbucks locations, but I thought the cashier was really nice and professional. Waiting time for the coffee wasnt too excessive either despite my going there on a Saturday afternoon. Keep up the good work, staff!

No teamwork or communication. How long does it take to get a pastry thats NOT warmed up? Seriously the people at the register cant multi-task and grab those pastries for customers who dont want to be warmed/toasted? Three guy at the register says is not up to me to get the pastry. Dude to be more efficient, grab the pastries for customers that dont need to be heated up. Simple. Staff is incompetent, no communication, or organization to flow properlyStill the same inconsistency and no initiative in opening another register when there’s a line out the door. Basically starting a fire hazard. Also took 10 minutes to make a grande dark roast when it was already brewed
The rating is so low because the baristas making the drinks and working the hand off are always so rude. I tend to go here because it’s closest to my job but the bad attitudes and blatant lies have become unbearable.

I guess allergens means nothing to some people.. literally wasted money and efforts of explanation which I was told was understood to have an awful allergic reaction. I told cashier and two other works I have a dairy allergy and to have almond milk and ended up having to deal with a painful allergic reaction whilst at the memorial next door! Hoping this is just a one off or really out of touch staff but I for one will not be going to this branch again
Best starbucks in lower manhattan. Alize helped me out with my order, cause I don’t drink coffee that often. I’ll be back for sure! Great music too!
The team here is simply amazing! They seem to always remember everyones name and drink preferences. The staff here is engaging and efficient. You can tell that whoever is managing this location, knows what they are doing, and whoever works in this location, enjoys what they are doing. I just wanted to take a moment to issue a THANK YOU to the staff of this location, you really make every visit a rememberable one. You guys should be the lead trainers for all Starbucks locations across NYC! Thank You!

The people here are super nice, and the coffee is as good and overpriced as any Starbucks. But this place is too small for the number of people forced to wait here because so many orders come in from people not actually in the store. So sadly I suggest being part of the problem and ordering before you get on the subway so you dont wait for 5-10 minutes when you order in store in a very tiny space...
This Starbucks is very hit and miss. I place a lot of mobile orders, and sometimes they are prepared so fast that they are cooling off when I get there, and then sometimes I have to wait literally 10 minutes from the time I arrive, despite placing the order ahead. Also, there is no seating here and the music is way too loud.
If you are inside the Occulus, locate the hallway beside Apple Store and proceed up staircase. (if on the main level, you will need to go up the escalator and then the staircase.)As per the other reviewers, the staff is phenomenal!
The location was closed already upon arrival with 15 mins left before store was supposed to be closed. Bad business. Staff needs to be reminded of operation hours and those hours need to be enforced or publicly noted otherwise of early closure.
NOTE that this is for a 7:15-8am/2-3pm time frame!!I never thought Id be yelping about a Starbucks - an establishment that I frequent so often I almost dont even think about it. WTC Starbucks is beautiful and spacious, with dim lighting that wont give you a migraine at 7am. Their mobile orders are done pretty quickly without error - at least from my experience. And can we talk about the staff?! They are always working so smoothly, and SO FRIENDLY! I actually leave this Starbucks feeling motivated to move on with my day at work. Despite working in FiDi with cute cafes aplenty, this is my morning spot!

My recent visit to the Starbucks in World Trade Center, NYC, left me quite disappointed. I started by ordering a grande Dragon Drink, and I spelled my name for the cashier, they got it wrong. Not a huge issue, as mistakes happen, but its always nice to feel acknowledged as a customer.The real problem arose when I received my drink. They informed me that they were out of dragon fruit, and instead gave me a yogurt-like concoction with nothing else added. I didnt mind not getting the exact drink I ordered, but what bothered me was the lack of apology or any effort to rectify the situation. The whole experience left me feeling unsatisfied and ignored.I believe customer service is crucial, especially in a place as popular and well-known as Starbucks. A simple apology and a willingness to offer an alternative would have gone a long way in making me feel valued as a customer.Sadly, I have to give them one star for this visit. I hope they can improve their service and attention to customers in the future.

I actually stumbled on this while walking from the A/C at Chambers the other day. I meant to walk further to the exit ahead but noticed this new exit towards Vessey. I am glad I did because I was craving the dark chocolate peanut butter cups from Justins that they normally stock. I paired it with a Tall Almond Milk Green Tea Latte. I forgot to mention the almond milk due to my stress from my commute but the barista was attentive and I tipped for that consideration. I am glad I went into this place. The latest music, attentive staff, well lit, casual seating right outside and in one of the most expansive buildings in downtown Manhattan. The almond milk was perfectly foamed and not burnt too. One of the best Starbucks I have been to. All the staff were working together and it helped move the short line along.
I have ordered kid size hot chacolate, they said they dont have kid cups and ok with short cup as they mentioned but charged me short cup rather kids and no sugar at all. Worst starbucks experince I ever had

I work in the WTC and come here every morning. Service in the mornings is superb, love the drink announcer and the oculus artwork. I started going here in the afternoons and theres an employee named “Laffy” with an continuous attitude problem. Asked her a question today and she walked away mid transaction and stood in the corner with an attitude while another employee kindly had to finish her job. Stick to coming here ONLY in the mornings.

This is my favorite Starbucks and I mean it. Doesn’t matter if it’s the morning staff ,afternoon staff or night staff every time I place my order through the mobile app is all correctly made and most importantly my drink is on time. Compare to other Starbucks which either they mess up my order or I have to wait additional time sometimes up to 10 minutes. It is a standard Starbucks. But it didnt have decaf coffee. And on top of that the music was so loud it was difficult to order and talk. Baristas did a fine job making drinks though.

Starbucks sells coffee and tea. They sell a few snack foods like cake, bagels and brownies. A few locations have sandwiches. The drinks come in sizes tall, grande and vente. Those sizes are the same as small, medium and large. The beverages range in price from $3 to $6 each. They sell both hot and cold drinks. They also sell a lot of espresso based drinks and espresso shots.

I love this Starbucks location because they put out the coconut milk, almond milk and soy milk for people to use. So you can save a little bit of money on your coffee.

I just bought a Mango lemonade dragon fruit, but the service of the cashier, a girl with glasses seemed terrible to me, she was lying at the register watching her social networks on her phone. Ive been coming to this location for about two years now, ever since I started working in Manhattan. After a long, long, long day, dropping into this place only makes sense. Everyone who works there is really wonderful! On one particular occasion, I somehow didnt hear my name for my iced coffee called. When I finally realized, the batista helping me offered to remake it, since it had warmed up. Thats just one amazing experience Ive had there! Thanks to everyone there for their awesome work (and drinks!).

I usually buy coffee from Starbucks and since I was at the oculus and today is national coffee day I just ask them if they are participating or not, Then the cashier went to the manager to ask. Few seconds later manager came and in raged started saying “NO WE ARE NOT GIVING OUT ANY FREE COFFEE “. She started to scream at me! What a disgusting women😡 other employees were shocked with her behavior and just stared at her. Starbucks been hiring people without any training, no manners and employee like this are shameful for Starbucks 🤮First of all she could professionally say no we are not participating then I would buy my coffee anyway. This manager didn’t have to go to this route and being nasty!

It was busy but he was pleasant and swift with his recommendation. After 1 minute of enjoying this drink, I felt so much better! I then tried to order the same thing at my campus Starbucks and was terribly disappointed. I went back to this location to ask him for a second one. Rude Barista…The café wasn’t very busy when I went with my partner. We ordered together, she got her drink first within 2 minutes. I however waited almost 15 minutes for mine when there wasn’t a rush. This isn’t the issue, I can be patient as I know sometimes it’s not the baristas’ fault. However I wanted to make sure they didn’t forget my drink (which has happened before at different Starbucks) When I asked the barista if he knew how much longer it would be or if he had a time frame, the barista was extremely rude in their response. I asked politely… They responded almost aggressively, it made me so upset that I didn’t stay in the café to drink my order.I understand sometimes it’s out of your hands, but a nicer response would’ve really make my experience more enjoyable.

Looks like they prioritize mobile orders over face-to-face customers. Waited 10 minutes for them to warm up a simple and mediocre chicken sausage and biscuit sandwich, while watching a ton of customers coming after me get their sandwiches of various sorts.

This is the absolute worst Starbucks. This is the third time I had a terrible experience there. Theres almost 10 individuals behind the counter and no one could get me a tall TEA!!! Its just a teabag and hot water and I wasted my time, patience and energy for the last time The store wasnt crowded and no one on line. The crazy part is that this is the 3rd time this has happened to me. So I tell my co-workers about my experience, and not surprised at all that they said theyve experienced horrible customer service. They too have stayed away from that location. Unbelievable.
The lady working on sunday is horrible. I ordered grande coffee but she gave me tall coffee and guess what she charged me for venti. At the moment i did not see that but later when i checked i saw the amount. Very disappointed.

Service can be slow at times. Never has soy milk readily available, always have to ask for it. Employees cut inline when they are making a purchase and sometimes standing and chit chatting when busy. There are several employees that are really nice and do their jobs.
Your run of the mill Starbucks, staff is very friendly and enthusiastic, place definitely fills up in the morning though so waiting for your daily brew may be a little longer than your average. Otherwise the quality is just what youd expect from any other SB, perhaps a touch better since you get service with a smile.

This Starbucks is conveniently located in the Oculus for commuters, WTC tenants and tourists. Employees are friendly, never had a wrong order, and drinks are prepared in a timely manner. Beware that the morning this place is very busy and quite congested while waiting for a mobile order to be ready.

I am giving 5 stars for the location on the top level thats right by the train station. I frequent this location because I work in the building. Very good customer service, even if it’s crowded they always make my drinks and sandwiches in a timely manner. They are organized and know how to take care of the line and also get people in and out the door. Now this location should give a whole powerpoint presentation on ethics and customer service to the new location located on the lower level that is close to MAC. Since this location is closer to where I work, I frequent there when I go on break. Not ONCE have I had a positive experience, as all of my coworkers can vouch for. They always take FOREVER to do the simplest of things and aren’t respectful of your time. I once went there on my break to order a drink, the store was pretty empty. As I was waiting for my drink, the 2 baristas were just standing there chatting amongst themselves laughing. I had to stare at their direction for them to get the hint that I’m waiting. You can obviously make the assumption I was on break because of what I was wearing. As soon as they noticed I was staring at their direction that’s when they began to make my drink. There was absolutely no excuse for this, as it wasn’t even busy at all and I was on a time limit. Whenever I purchase anything that needs to be heated takes at least a minimum of 10 minutes. Today I was assisted disgracefully by one of the employees there that was short, wearing a black hat, had medium complexion and a pony tail. When I told her that I was waiting over 5 minutes for a simple bagel, she walked away from me, came back with the bagel that was all crumbled up and said condescendingly “It was 5 minutes, actually*” and walked away. She probably felt confident to speak in such a tone because she thought I was done receiving my order, which I wasn’t because I was waiting for a brownie which also took another while to come. She came back and I just said thank you and walked out. I told my coworkers of the behavior of this specific cast in this location and all of them had so many things to say about how negative their experiences were. One of my coworkers ordered online in advance and still had to wait 20 minutes in person to receive their order, which took the whole purpose away of ordering online. Another experience was when they took too long hearing up something so simple, which my coworker ended up speaking up about and was given a card with some credit in it for the inconvenience. She mentioned how her experience was sour every single time she visited the store. I work in customer service as well and things get much more hectic and we deal with all different kinds of clientele, and I can say they need a few pointers. I am respectful of everyone’s time, especially for those that work in the building. There are plenty of more occasions that I can mention, but point is either they need to hire new management, hire a whole new cast or have everyone attend a training as I said previously on ethics and customer service because they absolutely need it. It is a shame that they lost me as a customer along with a handful of people, we will no longer frequent there and we’ll proceed to go to the other location located on the upper level instead who have never ceased to give excellent customer service. If it wasn’t for the lower location not having their own review section, they’d get one star. This location is better off closed if they will continue to give this kind of service.

This Starbucks was unlike any other Ive been to! It was around 8:30am and they had Jamaican music jamming so loud that could couldnt speak to one another and make it hard to order but it was a fun new experience!
This restaurant now takes mobile orders, so thats awesome! I have yet to receive a messed up order (knock on wood).

This store says it opens at 5am. MY friend and I are visiting NYU for a conference and we were treated like criminals because we sat in a lobby that had its doors open. My friend and I were racially profiled and threaten with calling the cops by a (the blonde lady) I am assuming she is the manager who by the way arrived late. Ive never had anything of this nature happen to me at a starbucks. I hope the blonde lady there learns how to deal with people of different color before assuming that they are there to rob the store just because we look black. I hope this lady learns more about custumer service and I truly hope they lock the doors when closing to prevent issues of this nature from reocurring with a staff that lacks profecionalism in the customer service field.
Extremely understaffed, daily I come here and waiting 10-20 minutes on a latte. Quality is great if dont mind waiting, but Ill bring my own coffee from now on.

I mobile ordered 10 minutes before arriving nothing was ready when I got there I waited 15 more minutes in the store could not wait any longer because it wouldve made me late to work so I had to leave WITHOUT MY ORDER WHICH WAS PAID FOR !!!!!!!! If you cannot handle mobile orders due to staffing shut the mobile orders DOWN FOR THE DAY !!!!!!!!!

Pretty poor.The staff seemed disorganised. There were plenty of them on, but a growing queue at 9pm. The store has rubbish on the floor and a few seats (metal cannisters) outside.

Staff not very attentive..had to go back to the counter and ask for my order to be served. They did not give me a receipt but did not make an issue and gave me my order.
