Didnt feel comfortable with the Starbucks barista, wearing a red keffyiah and definitely doesnt fall in line with Starbucks employees code of conduct, and moreover, highly inappropriate and even more so during the holidays

Original text below:My drinks are routinely prepared incorrectly with incorrect ingredients substituted in for what I ordered.My drink order is straightforward. Black tea, no sugar, no dilution. I frequently get dilured black tea or even green tea from this location. Using different ingredients than what was ordered can be dangerous if someone has an allergy. I dont have this problem at other locations.It might be tempting to blame the folks working the counter for all this but, honestly, theyre doing their best under difficult constraints. They do not have enough staff to handle the throughput of orders. Making matters worse, the staff has to drop what theyre doing to take orders even though this is supposed to be a mobile-only location.Under these circumstances, I can see why folks might cut corners, even if I wholeheartedly disageee with it.The fixes here are simple. I hope Starbucks can implement them.EDIT: With respect to the owners response, putting the staff in a position in which they have to remake incorrectly-made drinks only compounds the overwhelming throughput at this location. Rather than putting the responsibility solely on the employees, consider what changes the store can make to the stores process to set everyone up for success. I made some suggestions above. You dont have to take them but you really should do something.

Good location for a quick grab and go orders. Some seatings available. Small location but good.

This is crazy, millions people are in Manhattan, Starbucks make thousands dollars daily and can not invest money to Restroom.No Restroom guys - do not go there.This review for all Merchandise of Starbucks.People need are service for that money what they paid you for coffee 10$ and up.

Slowest starbucks ever, even when it’s not busy at all. Will ignore you when you try to place an order

This team is so friendly. They genuinely seem to care about customers, put cute stickers on the cups of happy messages and its just a nice place. Youd expect this as a non chain shop not a Starbies. I love coming here even if its usually for 5 seconds to pick up my mobile order

Venti Medicine Bowl Tea my favorite.Lemon n honey special herbal mix to keep your immune system. Prices razonable. Attended nice, friendly, for order on line and pick up or ask by delivery app. All classic tea lattes coffee sandwich scones pastry

Usually an in and out experience, which is great because I ran to get this on my break from work. Taste great and not watery (which happens from time to time when its close to closing time). Very satisfied with my coffee 😊

Love coming to this Starbucks. Staff are always so nice and friendly. The coffee is good and quick as well. The atmosphere is good, there are tables for you to drink your coffee at. Will definitely return again and again and again. Highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for good coffee around Upper East Side.

This is an ok Starbucks, nothing special, but good.It is well situated and has plenty of seating area.The staff is friendly and your coffee is mostly quickly prepared.The seats are comfortable although it is not always cleaned up regularly.It can be busy at moments, and you have to wait a little. Prices are average, standard Starbucks prices.

Chill staff good coffee its a little smaller than other locations though..I get caramel macchiato with soy and pumpkin spice lattes during the holiday!

Worst Starbucks, I pay for all of my add-ons and they barely add them. I have asked what I need to do to ensure that I get my add-ons and was told by an associate what I needed to do on my app, still nothing. Its frustrating because this has happened several times and I dont have time to wait for them to remake it, as I work at a hospital and have to get back to work.Now, I just walk an extra block and go to that starbucks even though this one is more convenient.

Not great!!Ordered online. Got there 10 minutes later-not ready. Asked my name. Soon. Asked my name again after another 5 minutes. Soon.After 10 minutes they realized my order was waiting there in the area marked G to I the whole time. . My name starts with R. Love having my time wasted.SMDH!!

2nd ave was closed and i was driving. They told me to come back after i was finished with what i was doing to grab it later so they could make it fresh for me. They have always been the nicest sweetest baristas! My favorite location by far!

I dont really go to Starbucks, but I received a gift card from a friend so I go, oh why not. The layout was confusing at first but you can order in!! Anyhow, its raining outside, Im running later than expected for an appointment, I am honestly a mess. My gift card doesnt have enough, so I decide to pay the rest in card. My card declines and Im like girl dont embarass me right now... because my pending zelle didnt go through. One of the workers there was incredibly sweet and made my day :( ♡♡♡ He ordered the drink for me despite my declining card. After it was made, he called my name and waved bye to me!! And another worker put a cute sticker on my cup :) So incredibly sweet!! By far this is the best experience I have ever experienced in any cafe. My experience as a barista is a bit traditional: Simple drinks with little to no syrup and always including latte art. At the end of the day, its more than just the drink but the hospitality that comes with it. While extracting, brewing, steaming, etc. is one skill, its the vibes that really make the shop unique. I can already tell these guys know what theyre doing, their kindness goes above and beyond. Thank you 🫶

Mobile ordered a drink. After I had walked away down the street, I took a sip and realized quickly there was no flavoring in my latte. That being said, the store was long but skinny. Very crowded in the morning. Baristas seemed annoyed at the world, but it could have just been a morning thing.

This is my go to Starbucks even though the other one is right down the block. The folks here are really sweet and quick. One time I dropped my coffee all over their floor due to my own clumsiness- not only were they really gracious about it, I got a refill for free.

I went with my sister twice to this location, first time was positive, second time I was yelled at multiple lines because the cashiers didnt realise we werent ordering separate.They got both my drink and food order wrong, I ordered very clearly as they seemed confused as to what a Bacon Egg and Cheddar is...Got a tea as well and asked for sweetened, they confirmed sweetened, came unsweetened.I felt singled out for some reason.

The Barista refused to let me use my rewards, didnt put in my order for like 15mins.Then got my order wrong. They even messed up my food order. Terrible service.The music is annoying.It is one of the worst Starbucks in Manhattan.

Giving two stars for the location and cozy space, but would give zero stars 95% of the time for the rude and slow service. With the exception of a couple of pleasant baristas the rest of the crew look miserable. I just dont bother complaining because quite frankly, I dont think they care. A smile goes a long way guys, just fyi.

When they say LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! It works for services too not only for real estate. This Starbucks has a line starting on the sidewalk. However, the service is really poor. They messed up my order giving me the wrong cake, I waited about 10 minutes for a chai and an espresso macchiato, which turned out to be just a solo espresso, no foam. I didnt even bother. Its the Upper East Side people, where a studio the size of a cubicle rents for 2 grand a month and no matter how bad your service is, if you sell coffee youll have a line out in the street. Here you get what you pay for doesnt really apply.

The staff is always nice and friendly here. Havent been at this particular location for roughly 6mo. But its exactly how I left it, warm friendly and my 3rd place. Its a great location, always happy to come here.

Clearly the employees couldnt care less. Dirty, no creamers and employees spending their day talking about their car insurance. Your right buddy, $200 a month is too much.

Bought a grande iced soy latte with an extra shot of espresso for around $5. Using their free wifi and bench to get some work done. Not crowded at all.

Decent Starbucks with ok seating. Theres been a homeless guy camped out by the bathroom every time Ive visited but hes okay.

Staff is awesome - they work very hard and always get my drink order correct.

I just want to say every single time I enter this Starbucks Brenton, Jose, Arnaldo and a few others can’t remember their names (sorry) go out of their way to make me feel super appreciated. It’s super welcoming and I honestly love that about this location! The service is 10/10!

They consistently forget parts of my order, have mediocre service, and lack outlets for electronics. Im disappointed every time I come to this location.

Ordered a latte this morning, and the cup felt really light when she handed it to me. Walked one block, opened the cup and realized the milk only came up halfway. Went back to the store, & politely asked for it to be remade. The barista seemed very annoyed & informed me all lattes have foam that settle. I told her that while yes lattes have foam, the ratio shouldn’t be 1/2 milk, 1/2 foam. There should just be a light layer on top. I paid for a medium and I was only getting a few sips of milk in this drink. She disagreed but reluctantly remade the drink. When I got home, the new drink tasted very watery & had no flavor. Very unhappy and disappointed. Customer service and quality of drinks were definitely lacking.

I just visited this Starbucks with the 6 year old I babysit, he needed to use the bathroom and we were far from home so I purchased a drink so we’d be paying customers and could use the bathroom. When I asked for the bathroom code the staff said the bathroom was “not for customers.” They really looked a 6 year old in the eyes and said he couldn’t use the bathroom after I repeatedly said he was about to have an accident. Finding a bathroom in NYC is impossible as is, but now Starbucks is denying paying customers with KIDS a bathroom that is clearly fully functional and right there just “isn’t for customers”?? The staff said they were a small location so they weren’t required to have a bathroom. Even if it’s not within their policy to require it, have a heart?

1st time ever in Starbucks with no bathroom

My local Starbucks on 75 and 1st mobile was down so I went to 76 and Second.I could not believe the crowd that was waiting for their order. The set up is not customer friendly. My name was called for my drink and the barista put it on the counter and did not hand it to me. When I went to get it the rudest barista started chastising me in front of everyone. With all the chaos in the store how was I suppose to know what their system is. I could not believe how nasty she was. As I waited for my second order I observed how rude she was to other customers. Which resulted in most of us our eyes at one another. Soooo $14+ to be treated this way? I certainly will not be back and will happily pass along my experience to my neighbors.For the record I know all the baristas by name at the 75th and 1st location and it’s an absolute pleasure to purchase my order there daily. Good luck to 76th and 2nd!!!

The morning crew at this store are friendly and know the way I like my coffee without saying anything. Its a busy store and they do their best to keep the line moving. Since this is a chain, reviewing the coffee seems pointless because it is consistent across all stores

A yr ago this store used to be amazing the morning crew was pleasant kind and full of smiles but one by one they all began to disappear and coming into the coffee shop reminds me of when scar ran the pride lands the store manager isn’t friendly at all and when she tries to be it’s so fake and you can tell I don’t like the way she speaks to her staff and how things are ran these days sadly I won’t be back at this location it’s not the same and I miss the old crew

This is consistently the worst Starbucks Ive ever been to. Willing to forgive them for being off their game once in a while but I have never had a remotely pleasant or easy experience here. They are always slow and rude.

It seems lik an express location. They Didnt butter the bagel I asked for, my coffee was lukewarm and there was no visible menu to help you order.

Its okay, a basic cafe that works mostly with advance orders. One point of sale through which you can order. Most had ordered their drinks in advance. No toilet.

It doesnt have a bathroom now, something very necessary because one buys something and picks up a Cake with ones hands and not being able to wash ones hands seems abhorrent to me. They have changed everything and I dont like it
