We popped in multiple times during our stay in NYC and each time was 5* very nice staff, clean environment and great service

Starbucks, really became a dump. They used to have a self-service area with, milk, cream, sugar, sweeteners, stirrers and straws. Not anymore. I had to go back to the pickup area, once for Splenda, and second time for a stirrer.

Super super slow even if it is not during a busy hour. I waited for a good 20-25 mins for one drink. All they do is talk.

We stopped twice for a coffee here staff and coffee was both great

I was already having a rough day so i came in to get a chai. i don’t know what i did to make this dude so upset, i was actually shocked. before i could even say my order i could already tell he was gonna have an attitude. i told him my order and then told him i had partner numbers, he asked if i had my ID, and i didn’t which is my fault, but his attitude towards it was very uncalled for. he then proceeds to drop my change and just stared at me. as a partner myself that works on broadway i understand the job can be frustrating but there’s no use in taking it out on customers, you can do that on your 10. i don’t know what his position is but i hope it’s not manager, cause if so he’s not a good one.

Great place for a cup of coffee!!! Love how they have some nice seating inside the store.

You buy a 10$ coffee and you can’t use the restroom.Never coming back cashier needs mental health therapy.

Unfortunately even though the girls are greatThe other older guy is rude and very indifferentIt’s a nice store and great location but they should to be quicker . It took me 10 min to order with one person in front of me in the line and 3 of us in the store.I’ll be coming back and of course I’ll reconsider the review if things hopefully get better

First time here. Lots of light and sun. Lots of windows. Spacious. Charging stations available.

This is not a good location of Starbucks. The employees are unfriendly, don’t look at you don’t greet. My sandwich had a long hair in it and they replaced it. The atmosphere is also not where one wants to sit.

Slightly outdated but has charging stations and windows and bar chairs to get some quick work done. The staff is nice but nothing special. The most disappointing part is that they close the restrooms for employees only….

I give a 5 star because DJ and the regular staff are all amazing so professional polite caring sweet and they know everyone’s specific order by heart. Unfortunately today I had to deal with a very RUDE barista I didn’t say my name loud enough and she was EXTREMELY RUDE RAISED HER VOICE UNPROFESSIONAL her name was Foxy someone said I personally am off the clock and wanted to beat her down who is she to speak to me that way 6:10am with her non NY accent if you don’t like your job please use the door no time for nasty losers taking orders with attitude especially when one enjoys coming and spending there money with the regular lovable staff Please relocate or remove the trash thank you

Today I remade my hazelnut Bianco latte twice and in the end I remake it to tea, because the coffee was terrible. Guys, keep quality please. And nobody said a word like I am sorry 😐

Its a decent enough coffee shop. Not really thirsty but overall its been a wonderful place the coffee is good strong and hot. The customer service is excellent and its just an overall place if you want to get out of that Heat. if you want to take a break if youre doing the tourist thing in New York and its not its just a great place to have something to eat.

This has to be the most thorough and upbeat Starbucks I have EVER been to. The staff is amazing. They are professional & playful bunch. They communicate & engage the customers. I could go anywhere in the city. But I always come back here.

Im in there almost every day. Staff know me, know my name, I know them, they are always friendly. Its a pleasure to drop in and when its not busy we have a few seconds of chat. Either way, my drinks are prepared quickly and professionally. Going into this Starbucks is truly like taking a break.

Horrible experiences have lead me to actually take the time out of my day to say how bad this Starbucks location has become. They are Constantly making order mistakes and then give you an attitude when you say something. When it happened the first time, the manager said all they have to do is give you a card.. which they never seem to have or willing to give. This last time the server didn’t even want to give the drink back or a card when I told her that the order was wrong. I had to walk away with no drink because she insisted on making it over when I told her the order was mobile for a reason. I don’t have time. Horrible service and management is just as bad. The manager would rather argue you down for mistakes the employees are making then retrain his employees.

Small and convenient place with a friendly staff.

Ive been visiting this Starbucks for a few days, since I stayed in nearby hotel. Im a huge espresso fan and each time it was perfect. The taste and the foam of the espresso was each time perfect, it can vary from one Starbucks to another. The staff is also very nice and polite.

I used to love coming to this starbucks especially since the employees are so lovely though i’m unsure if they changed management though ever since it seems things have changed not only that but I am very sensitive to the smell of cigarettes and the times i’ve came here beforehand i never smelt a strong smell of cigarettes though now the smell is overbearing and overwhelming for me and made me want to take my leave from this location i think it’s due to change of management though i’m unsure I will be missing the lovely workers especially the morning shift crew that used to be there which is unfortunate but the constant smell of cigerattes i cannot

Clean fun helpful Starbucks in NYC

The staff here were super friendly (besides Ron) particularly the guy who would give you coffee and say have a blessed day and they made good iced lattes. It was my regular in my short stay in New York. Cant complain!

Worst Starbucks ever. Highly incompetent staff. Bad coffee. Was first on the queue and last to get my order. Shop is dirty. Avoid.

Great coffee, good music and extremely friendly staff. I walked into two other Starbucks in a 4 block radius and they were horrible. This one makes u feel like ur around friends. My barista Alex did a GREAT job I hope management sees this review.

Small little corner Starbucks, good service

Starbucks coffee is a great coffee place if youre not from around, they have very good coffee and other beverages that will make you smile. I went with my sister to this branch and it was clean and nice, we set on a table and used the free WiFi

Standards As expected as in any Starbucks. With the addition of incredibly and smiley staff. Was my coffee spot for my 5 days in Manhattan.

If you have never been here before, it is about 50 times the size of the Starbucks you go to at home. It is five floors, and everything is fresh and great. The Starbucks you regularly go to uses a “bake off“ product for like ham and cheese croissants. I walked up to the one guy here, and asked about some of the sandwiches, he said, “the bread is still proofing it won’t be ready for another hour“. Homemade fresh bread in the 21st-century. Life is good!Seriously, this place is like Disney world for Starbucks. It’s not just a fantastic coffee’s, freshly baked food, music, it is the total “experience“!

My Rating is based mostly off their size. Its a little on the small size for any meetup. Its definitely better for a grab and go situation. Everything is very much the Starbucks motif. Good and fast service.

The restroom was closed, lines were long, almost no seats to sit. Giant trash bins were near the counter.

Careless and borderline rude staff. Took forever to prepare my drink.And when I complained, the guy said its an speciality drink and takes longer to prepare and walked away. I saw the speciality drink being put together. It literally took 30 seconds and tasted like water.

Extremely rude staff, the tall black person literally pushed me out because I came 20 minutes before closing. The coffee was cold and tasted like water. Bad customer service.

From out of state and stop here for a quick coffee me and my wife and uncle and was talking to one of the employees named RON great guy real informative about the surrounding area and was really helpful made our experience very special.

They closed the bathroom. before it has bathroom. Now they closed it Because greedy managers wanted make money and gat away without giving good atmosphere.

I ordered a tea and saw that the small asian girl was the only one doing anything. there were like 3 other people just talking while she kept running back an forth. nice and good tea but bathroom was closed. coffee shops should always have bathrooms open.

Extremely slow. I was the only customer, I placed my order & it took over 20mins to receive it. During my wait 2 other customers arrived also complaining about the wait, but they received their order before me.There were 5 employees working & 2 of them wasnt doing anything but talking the entire time. Worst of all, when I finally returned to work, 1 item was missing from my order. I didnt have time to go back to Starbucks for it.

Stopped by this morning for my usual cup of medicine. When I arrived I noticed the lights were out which is typically the case on a daily basis before 6am when they open, But this was closer to 7am. I noticed a couple of regulars outside waiting. Before I knew what was going on Vell came to the door with my order. What a great and valuable employee to have on your team. Truly the worst Starbucks Ive been to... I do not have high expectation when it comes to Sarbucks but also it shouldnt taste exactly like milk when I order an iced latte... it honestly just tastes like watered down milk. very disappointed that I just spent 5 dollars on something that I wouldnt call it coffee

They need a new staff morning and afternoon shift everyone is miserable working there and can’t even get a simple order right.

Im currently staying at the Townplace suites nearby and I was craving Starbucks. I ordered an caramel macchiato but no straw😞 Luckily I had one here from a previous drink. But other than that everything is great!!

Horrible service!!!! Theres a line out the door! The cashier messed up my order then I told her my order was wrong and she said oh well get back in line! Also the lady who was handing out the coffee wasnt announcing whos coffee was whos! And theres customers curcing and screaming at the staff! Worst Starbucks Ever!!!

Friendly staff, groovy 80s music and ok food. The avocado spread was a bit funky, but maybe it just didnt accommodate my Scandinavian palette.

Ordered a Smores frappucino and it tasted like I was sipping up only syrup. Asked for another and I still had the same problem. My guess is theyre not mixing the syrup into the blender and are using a one-for-all base frappe mix and pouring it into the flavoring, probably to cut corners.Speaking of cutting corners, they were also pretty skimpy on the whipped cream, and I think there was supposed to be graham cracker topping too, which both times I never got.I paid with a gift card which is really the only reason I went to a Starbucks. I have no interest in their products. When I got my drink remade, only to still slurp up syrup, I just threw it away at this point. I had no patience to ask for a gift card refund and I needed to go to work.

Came in and there was a pretty long line but it was really busy. Took a while for me to place my order but the girl that took my order was nice. All I ordered was a tall coffee, nothing special. They seem like they keep it pretty clean. The Christmas music was pretty loud though so I thought that was kind of annoying. Overall, a good Starbucks though.

Staff is verrrry courteous, quick, and professionally courteous aware of their regular customers, such as myself!

The worst location

This place is not often busy with a line, but somehow it still takes forever for them to make drinks. It also seems to be a hang out for friends of the employees, who are often shouting across the very small storefront.

There are some nice workers in here. Please teach them how to make the drinks. You can’t pay seven dollars for a chocolate coffee and have it taste like warm milk with a little bit of Swiss miss in it.

Closed on Jan 15, 2022. The app and Google both say that it’s open, but the store is DEFINITELY closed.

Undrinkable! For a 7$ coffee that s insane. Had to throw it out. Watered down coffee, nutmeg instead of cinnamon and more…

Floor and counter were untidy. Sugar and milk was very little supply. Only one girl at register work hard, others were just chatting. Not comfortable drink coffee in here

The food on the counter is very old and dry. With mold!

Family friendly, staff are hard workers. They always remember your name and order. They keep the store clean.

The Baristas everytime I have gone in have been more interested in talking with whatever friend they have hanging out by the bar then hurrying to make your drink or the line forming.

Easily one of the worst Starbucks in NY. Overridden by the homeless. Extremely rude cashier. I ordered a Chai tea latte with oat milk and watched the barista make it with regular milk. She called my name and when I took the drink I asked what kind of milk is in it. She pulled the sleeve down to see the label and then told me it has whatever the sticker says despite JUST making the drink 3 seconds prior with the wrong milk that I am allergic to. Really disappointing waste of time and money.

AlwayZ a pleasure stepping into STARBUCKS, except at 684 8th Avenue, because theyre alwayZ out of supplies, & not opening up on time many days!

Ive been to this location many times over the years because I have a part-time job nearby. Usually, its ok, and Ive even seen famous actors here which is fun :-) But last night I was trying to get to my job at 5pm and entered the store around 4:35, thinking that was plenty of time. I ordered a caramel apple spice which usually has the option of whipped cream, and a caramel sauce - all I know is that a tall cost almost $7.I ordered without incident and went to the pickup area- there werent that many customers there. The pickup area in this location is always chaotic because they like to blast music there really loudly, which makes it difficult for anyone to hear what the baristas are saying when they call out names and I always find this stressful and annoying. Next, one of the 2 baristas friends dropped by, and started hanging out right by the espresso machine counter -- she might also be a Sbucks employee but wasnt working, so the 2 of them were laughing, and talking very loudly, which also seemed to distract the barista from doing her job efficiently.Then, I had the customer thing happen where it seemed that everyone around me got their order and left, even people who were in line behind me. When I asked the barista if she had a caramel apple spice coming up, she looked at me slightly annoyed and said Im working on it now. When I got it, it was 5:55 and I had to leave the store immediately to run to work. As I was walking the block to my work, I noticed there was no whipped cream, or caramel sauce in the drink - it was just hot apple cider. It was still good, but not worth $7 IMHO. I might start going to one of the many other coffee shop options in the immediate area as I just dont want to be this annoyed again.

Came here to get a quick latte and snack. Wanted to order through the app. For some reason, this location wasnt showing up on the app. I inquired about it with the nicest guy. We both tried to figure it out but couldnt. He gave me a small gift card just because! SO NICE! TY!!!!

I usually never write reviews but I felt inclined to do so today for this reason:I was meeting with my elderly grandmother and i wanted to take her out for some coffee. We were there for a while, most the staff was nice and i had purchased items over $30.I asked politely for my grandmother to use the bathroom, they told me it was for employees only. I asked again explaining my grandmother had to take a long bus ride in the next few minutes and another employee approached me with attitude telling me that it was for employees.I don’t understand why i was given attitude, i was not rude towards the staff at any time and the fact that they deny the bathroom to paying customers amazed me. I worked at fast food I know well its not “employees only” you guys are just jerks for saying that.

Lady behind the counter just making weird noises and trying to be funny but actually just distracting everyone that works there. Dont understand why the manager didnt step in and ask for her to be more professional. Im all for having fun at work, but being obnoxious is another thing.

I wanted to come here and say I do miss coming here to this establishment though the change of management has made the ethic of everything terrible the new manager is rude I believe her name is Janelle, Though emmanuel was such a nice manager and would actually interact with customers as i dont see the same from the new manager alongside that I do feel bad for the workers as it seems they are fairly under more stress as working at starbucks is already stressful i do hope management changes so it can go back to a smoother less tense/hostile environment until then though i love the workers i’ll be going somewhere else

Baristas are usually very nice and positive but today I went there to take a Zoom interview, as I’ve done before cause it’s a nice spot for the area, and the music was so glaringly loud the other person had to put me on mute, I couldn’t here them, and I probably didn’t get the job. I’ve never been at a coffee shop with such loud music

This is your standard midtown Starbucks, though it does have a restroom which is a plus (YMMV).

The personnel were great and the best strawberry frap Ive had in a longtime. The place is small but effective and cozy despite the high traffic in the area. If it expands it would be in conflict with the bulk of restaurants in the area. At its size it fits the business model.

It was great, I was able to enjoy my coffee and get some work done. I also enjoyed having a free refill, which I thought was a thing of the past. Apparently if you order a specific coffee drink you are entitled to free refills and all you have to do is pay the taxes, I think cuz I was charged $0.54. The staff were very accommodating and nice.

I been 2 times and that 2 times all I see the workers talk each other not take care the customers. You just waisting your time, some people time is crucial and all the do staying on they phones. I will with again and I will see how the manager done they work if not I will recommend that place 0.

Awesome that Starbucks is open (corner of 9th Ave & 43rd) on Christmas and that the baristas are just as upbeat and cheerful as usual.

Its high priced coffee served reasonably fast. Oatmeal was good.

Small location which seems to be frequented mostly by the locals. Its always busy with very be little seating available. They have a customer bathroom, but be prepared to wait, as it always seems to be occupied. Coffee and pastries are okay,...About the norm of what youd expect.

As a general rule Im not a huge fan of Starbucks. This Starbucks is helping to change my opinion with its fast, friendly service.

The starbucks chain is always good in almost every where but in Manhattan, they dont care. The store took out almost all the phone charger outlates except two and one of them never works. Ppl they buy coffee n food dont get to charge their phone cuz the random ppl sitting there all the time to charge their phone or usong laptop. My phone almost diet as i was new to the city and i had only way to contact my business partner thru my phone but my phone was almost dead. I had to go to MCDONALDS to buy more stuff to charge my phone.
