Starbucks

I am happy with the staff but I am not happy with the drink it came not even fully filled up. I know they are busy in the morning but at least fill up the cup I am a college student and I paid to get a good drink that is expensive not a drink that is only 2/3 filled up for that price I am not happy with this experience. The cup also came dirty with green spots.

I don’t often go to Starbucks and honestly I’m rarely in the city but the two men working here tonight were just so pleasant. They honestly seemed happy to be working there and serving me as a customers. That’s a rarity these days, especially in fast food places. Really pleasant experience. Shout out to those two guys working tonight around 5:15pm!

The workers here were extremely pleasant when I visited. So much positive energy coming from them. I appreciate their vibe especially in NYC.

Went in the morning and barista got just about every part of the order wrong. I asked for no ice and the cup was 2/3 ice. Clearly forgot about the cold foam because the *extra* cookie crumble topping was added before the thin layer of foam (because they ran out of space) and already gathering at the bottom when the drink was handed to me. Sauce wasn’t stirred either so the drink was bland and you could see the layer of cookie crumble and sauce at the bottom. All this when there were exactly two other customers in the shop and two drinks waiting on the counter.

Lmao are you serious? My drink is practically half empty.

My last impression is that if you are not satisfied with your experience here, they will make it right.It was a tough hurdle to overcome. Changing my original impression wasn’t going to be easy, but it happened. Customers want to be heard when their expectations aren’t met and in my original review that never occurred. Starbucks reached out after complaining and they addressed our concerns with kindness, humility, and understanding. This isn’t always the case and it’s a shame when it isn’t, because it’s not that difficult.Thank you Devon. Worst Starbucks ever!!!! I asked for a. Radium peppermint mocha and the girl said there was no whip cream for the medium but only if I asked for the grande size. After paid she said there was no almond milk and to pay an extra charge for soy milk. Instead of the grande size I paid for, the girl gave me a small size… I will never come at this shop again…

This is the best Starbucks in the city. Im not sure why they get 3.4 stars but every time I go in there the guy at the counter says the nicest things to me and even takes a little bit of time to have a conversation with me. Not so much that he causes a line, but just to let me know that he knows Im there. I dont usually do long posts like this so you know this place is awesome.

The staff are nice and friendly. My issues with this location is the drinks, the wait time and being short in staff. This location gets busy and there are not enough workers so the wait is long. The worse part about this location are the drink quality. The baristas need to learn how to make the drinks better. I ordered the new pecan latte and I could barely taste the pecan flavor. There’s other drinks that I ordered where I could barely taste the flavor. The staff at the location near my home make better drinks than this location where I could actually taste the flavor. Also the last drink I ordered was way too hot and I ended up burning my mouth.

I am an Starbucks regular, utilizing multiple locations around the city, but this one consistently messes up my go-to order, which is not complicated. When asking politely to remake correctly, they rarely even look up.

I wish I could stay longer! Staff is beyond AMAZING!!! The interaction with the staff with their energy and positivity, I could seriously stay there all day talking to them. Thank you for being my last stop before I went to the airport. I look forward to our paths crossing again and when I visit NY again!

Best Flat White I have ever had in all the Starbucks I have been. They really pay attention on how you want your coffee !

I love the baristas at this location. They’re fun, friendly, and they remember all of the regulars. 5 stars for them!This review is to call out the manager. She talks down to her employees with a store full of people. I’ve seen her scold individuals and the entire group. During a rush she will stand at the end of the bar and call the baristas by name and say what they’re not doing quick enough. “Why are we 10 minutes behind” “Why isn’t there a backup __ ready?” Just help! That’s what you’re there for! Today I witness her scolding an employee in the middle of the store. These conversations should be significantly more professional and held privately in the office. It’s beyond embarrassing for everyone involved.This is a very busy location and the baristas hustle to get the endless app orders out as well as the consistent line. They deserve more than an unappreciated, unsupportive boss. The district manager needs to reconsider her position with the company.And I know this is just petty, but she pronounces espresso “expresso”… lol

I ordered through the mobile app. My order was three shots of espresso with three pumps of white chocolate mocha in a grande cup on ice. When I got there, I saw that milk had been added to the order. I asked the girl who made it if there was milk in the order she said yes, I said the order doesn’t have milk. She proceeded to defend her action, which I didn’t even question. I just asked for it to be remade without the milk. Her attitude was as if I was the one who made a mistake.I wasn’t even upset. I understand that these things can happen but don’t treat me poorly. She remade the drink reluctantly. I then asked for a straw and was given a long straw. I asked for a shorter straw and was made to feel like I was asking for $1 million. She didn’t even hand me the straw. She left it on the counter far away from where I was standing. Very poor customer service.

First off the staff other then the one girl are fine they are doing their best and trying to get things done fast .But there is one girl there with blonde braids and glasses who clearly in in the wrong business she was rude to EVERYONE all she did was roll her eyes this poor man just asked where to wait for his food and she acted like it was the biggest inconvenience. When I got up to order my drink it was like I was bothering her . I’m not one to complain or ever give bad reviews but to me that’s not okay . She was not kind at all. It makes me sad to give 2 stars bc I do believe the other employees are trying their hardest I would assume she has a sister who works there bc she looks just like her and she was so much nicer .Over all I won’t come back bc if they are okay with someone so rude working for them then I won’t be back

I had a cake and coffee over here. very good experience. Its very close to the Mega Bus stop, which makes it very crucial for the new travelers.

The coffee left a weird taste but the worst part is that this location has no restroom! What a joke.

Been here for a business trip past month and refuse to start my morning without my coffee. When visiting make sure you ask for Julie, she is very nice and I promise you will have the best customer experience. She remembers her customers and the orders and always has a smile on everyday no matter how hectic it gets. Thanks Julie hope we cross paths again in the future!

On your website, it indicates that this location has a gender neutral restroom and restrooms as an amenity. When I went inside this location, they said the bathroom was not for public use even when I brought something. I feel highly discriminated against even in my uniform.

The morning I was here, one of the ovens wasnt working. This caused a bit of a back up in orders, but the staff handled it so well. As I ate I watched them placate customers, and support each other in a steady flow of tasks as all of the orders came in from mobile and register customers.I tipped as much as I could in the app (admittedly, I couldve missed where I could tip more), and I hope their pillows are always cold and their coffee hot.

Probably the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to (and we have these in my third-world country).The food and coffee were okay but the service was awful and straight up rude.Also there were no sweeteners available, and the tables were not clean.

I ordered coffee and an egg sandwich through mobile order and went to the store 15 minutes later, but I still hadnt received my coffee. When I asked the staff about it, they got annoyed and told me to wait. I had ordered a regular coffee, but even after waiting another 10 minutes, I still didnt get it. When I asked again, only then did they make and give me my coffee. When I asked for sugar and an ice cup, they got annoyed and told me to ask for those when I place my order next time. How can I request sugar and ice in a mobile order?I felt very unpleasant having to go through this just to get coffee in the morning. they were unfriendly only to me?? which made me feel discriminated against !!!

The setting is nice ,The staff are polited but they need to pick up the speed in their service when seeing long line of customer ,I have see customer walk out even my self on one occasion ,some open the door look in and stay away.

They still havent learn their lesson. I went in with my wife to purchase tea and I asked to use the bathroom. I was told by the worker that facility did not have a bathroom. As we peacefully left the workers were laughing. After just spending 12 million dollars to train employees. We will never buy anything from Starbucks again.

Avoid this branch. I rarely give such a rating. Terrible service by the staff she gave me a broken cup even though she saw it was leaking and acted as if she changed the cup. Literally as I walked out all of my clothes was filled with coffee.

Decent Starbucks facility. I told the Barista to go crazy with my drink. The actual drink wasnt too great but thats exactly what I wanted, a different taste palet. The staff was super happy to make my drink.Only con, the top level was dirty and werent set up for the morning rush.

Employees were great! This location is right near a lot of transit into NYC, so it gets a weird mix of customers. Only one bathroom, which means that it gets overused. Not a ton of room to sit, but Ive stopped here a few times after catching a Megabus into NYC and always found a seat to eat a snack before walking to the subway. Not amazing, not terrible, make sure to tip them for making your drinks, these folks are working hard.

I stopped by this store every Thursday and Friday, and I dont want to go to this store again because the cashier female employee ( She was wearing a nose ring ) who is working around 10 a.m. is racist. Dont be rude to customer like that !!

Umm theyre kool but the restroom had no toilet tissue, again. So I have them 5 stars though because they have good customer service & I think they just get busy & no one can check the bathrooms regularly. But my drink was so good so.

Espresso is always great -- its Starbucks...But the service at this location is regularly subpar - Starbucks experiences should be standard across the board...or at least friendly.I greet your cashier with a smile and how are you? After being rudely called forward as if I was doing something wrong while waiting in line. I received a mean looking blank stare and no response. I proceeded to friendly order my coffee (double shot on ice) and pay with my app. She also sorta asked my name - continue similer experience.I appreciate majority of Starbucks customers are terrible people. My opinion - based on the endless number of rude customers BARKING at the baristas for mixing up an order or maybe using Soy 1% instead of Soy 2% - first world problems. Change that negative energy into positive contributions to your community folks.Long story short this particular cashier is in a tough spot - the company (Starbucks) needs to better look out/support locations/employees that are struggling and flat out let go those (my cashier) that treat nice customers (me) so rudely.Not everyone is an ass in this world.Can you tell I enjoyed my espresso while writing this review?Peace.-L

3 customers in the store, took 16 minutes to order and 20 MINUTES to get my drink (Americano) they were talking and restocking instead of taking our drinks and making them. Reminds me why I hate Starbucks.

This Starbucks in the morning is overwhelmed with the amount of orders. Although the employees are great, the infrastructure does not allow them to handle the 9-10am influx. I hope management finds a way to address the situation.

Hit or miss depending on locale, staff motivation, and the mood of the crowd. Sometimes lightening quick, at others, youd think theyre picking the beans. Over-priced but oddly comforting.

Poor customer service. I ordered a venti size frap and redeemed my free drink reward. They gave me a grande size. When i told the cashier and the barista (Monica) that they gave me a wrong size, Monica immediately showed her rude attitude and rolled her eyes towards both cashier and me. They exchanged conversations back and forth and finally Monica called me to come to pick up my drink at the cashier area instead of the pick up area. She made my drink from grande size to venti size by adding tons of whipped cream to it. I have the gold membership with starbucks and i was never treated like this before in any other starbucks store.Extremely poor customer service.

Almost always slow. Lots of barristas but nobody is making coffees. You’re better off walking north two blocks to the always friendly Starbucks between 30 and 31.

Would give half a star if I could. This place is terrible. Service was terrible, slow and they got my order wrong. And when the manager was rude and I said he was being snippy, he argued with me!! Would steer clear of this one. Not worth the aggravation. Theres plenty of other Starbucks that are much better!

This location has a lot of homeless crazy people who harass customers without the employees caring to do anything about it.A randon guy who had been sitting in front of the large window walked up to me while I was waiting for my order and asked why I was staring at him. He said I was making him uncomfortable and suggested we step outside to figure it out. All this happened in front of the cashiers who couldnt apologize or intervene.Avoid this location

Rude, rude, rude, rude!!!!! Very nasty crew in this Starbucks. I work around the corner from this place but I rather walk all the way to 31st and 7th to get a coffee. I ordered online and when I got there a barista gave me such a hard time saying that my order was not ready and I had to wait 10 more minutes. I wait and wait to pretty much find out that they didnt have one of the ingredients and I had to order something else.

This is seriously the worst location Ive ever visited. Ive been numerous times and never once gotten the correct order. The staff is rude and doesnt pay attention. They dont listen to what you order, ring it up wrong, and then you end up with the wrong drink. Every single time

I went here to meet a friend and it was a pretty regular Starbucks. The only difference that I had never experienced was that there was a small lofted second floor. I wish it was bigger but overall a standard Starbucks for NYC.

Quick and fast service. Honestly cant go wrong with starbucks, really like their Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Expresso drink.

Excellent service, they are professional, and their service is very quick. The WiFi is quick as well and its not hard to find a space to set down your drink and your laptop and work if you need to!

Wow. This Starbucks SUCKS. Absolutely AWFUL customer service. Possibly the worst I have had in NYC, and that is saying something. The upstairs dining area is closed, but for no actual reason. I suspect they dont want to clean it. Stay away from this one.

Nothing really good or really bad in this place. I sat on the balcony surrounded by homeless people. But they were nice and not to smelly.

Crowded all the time but theyre quick!

Waited about 10 min for my coffee but this is around morning time. It seems like a very busy location becuase they were overwhelmed with mobile orders as well as in person. They still did my drink correctly and got my cookie. Customer service is good.

This Starbucks is LIT🔥. Been to a few throughout NYC. Not a big place, but the best place. Super nice baristas, great coffee, and atmosphere is unique. Good vibes, if I didnt have places to be, Id hang here all day.

We ordered a breakfast sandwich in a 13$ order. We waited for a long time and it never came. When we asked the baristas who took our orders, she didn’t remember us and said that we didn’t order the breakfast sandwich. come on! Do your job better.

This Starbucks has done an excellent job managing the morning rush. If you are a regular, you are even greeted by your name while picking up your online order.

Giving this location a 2 star because the atmosphere is uncomfortable. I go to this Starbucks because its close by school and I try to do some homework there. However, everytime I go theres always a strange old homeless guy that tries to sit uncomfortably close to me and tries to start conversation. Even at tables that only sit one person (small circle tables by the window) they bring a chair over and sit with me.Its just uncomfortable and I know I cant be the only one experiencing this. I know Im not the only young girl going into Starbucks doing homework. So girls please be aware and be safe!

I paid money and then wait and they forget order and remind and show the receipt and more wait and remind again. I do not understand how hard it can be to deliver on the orders? McDonalds does it 99% times right.

I only gave 1 star because you can’t give 0!!!TOURIST BEWARE!!!!! This location is Horrible. I work for a Hilton property up the street and I will NEVER recommend this location to ANY of my guest. I came in on my lunch break because they said that they were out of something on the app that they actually did have inside the store but refused to sell. I came in the store and ordered a Venti iced tea latte with light ice. The barista kiosha filled Half of my entire glass with ice after I ordered light ice as I have a sensitive tooth. After presenting me with my drink I told her I have a sensitive tooth and I asked and paid for light ice. Instead of remaking my drink the correct way she scooped out the ice and handed me a glass that had enough liquid in it for a grande cup after I paid for a venti. After asking for it to be fixed all she did was put an abundance of milk into my glass. I waited 20 minutes for someone to bring me my correct order once I was passed the limit of my lunch break I asked for my money back because apparently by the actions of the barista I was asking for too much by requesting my order to be made correctly. I Will be returning in the morning to speak to the manager because I am disgusted as a elites Starbucks customer. I spend over $100 a week in Starbucks as I have a golden card with my name on it and I promise I will never spend a dime on this horrible location again

The store opens at 6am but the workers (two girls) were just looking towards the window while another girl and I were waiting for them to open the store. One of the girl finally opens the door at 6:08am and is gossiping for another 10 minutes while I waited until 6:20am for them to finally take my order. Definitely won’t be back to this location.

When we first touch down.. Need a Starbucks.. Two coffees.. Hip-hop 🎶 playingLike in a club..Barista was very nice, out going in a way.. The bathroom in working order, clean. The store clean.. Chilled for a while charging our phones and talking.. No rush..

This is my favorite Starbucks in the area, and there are more than a few (Thanks, Capitalism). Seriously though, the baristas here are so nice and attentive- they always do their best and do a dang good job at it! Plus I can be annoying with all the customizations available on the app, and they get it down to the T each time. The morning rushes here are insane between walk-ins and mobile orders and its understandable that they can get a tad behind. Dashawn is very nice and always greets me by name and remembers to add my extra cup of ice or Trenta water on the side :)

It was all good until, I asked for a simple tap water and 1 girl named lesilany if i could remember her tag name. She completely ignored me intentionally, I mean thats how her actions illustrated. It just seemed she was bothered in some sort of way, with a bad attitude. Just didnt feel comfortable the way I was treated just for tap water!?

Very poorly managed. I accidentally put in the wrong size for my mobile order and told the barista. Usually Starbucks is helpful and understanding to fix orders. Every other location in the area has stand up service that makes sure you receive exactly what you want. So I figured this location would do the same.A man who I took as the manager came over and asked me what I wanted. I told him I meant to order a venti as the drink had an extra shot and was way too bitter to drink in its size. I said it was my mistake and offered to pay the difference (which was 54 cents). He asked what I meant to order again, so I told him and he goes off and tells one of the baristas and walks away. Because of my other five star experiences at other locations, it seemed as though he was going to have his team remake it and not worry about the 54 cents. He never notioned me over to the register, so Im standing there waiting for a while, thinking theyre going to help me out. Manager is standing on the other side on the POS system but not helping anyone. Finally after several other people got their drinks, one of the baristas tells me that I have to go over to the register and pay the difference. Really? So I walk over to reorder and the same guy, who I think was the manager, is still engulfed in the POS system and says without even looking at me Oh yeah sorry one minute. At this point I was sick of waiting and these people griping over a couple quarters. Starbucks, are you really hurting that bad??This is not a mom and pop coffee shop. Youre going to make me wait thinking youre making the drink, only to notify me five minutes later that I do in fact need to reorder? I was so frustrated with these people that I eventually left with my disgusting coffee. And now I have a headache from the bitter coffee.Starbucks is known for its personalization and customer service. This location must have missed their training sessions on the Starbucks standard.

Starbucks familiarity. No complaints. Same service with a smile and hot coffees.

Really, really loud music. Tough to have a call or even talk to someone with you. Tried requesting the staff to reduce the volume. After a while, someone turned it down all the way and then cranked it back up immediately. If you want to get any work done, or have a call while connecting to Wi-Fi, avoid this location. Someone needs to tell the staff that its a coffee shop, not a lounge. Music is appreciated, but should be in the background.Edit: sitting here after my calls, its difficult to even focus on writing emails. Musics that loud.

Horrible service !!! The workers were very rude. they saw me standing in line waiting toPlace my order and they took their lovely time to attend me, I didnt even want to sit there to enjoy my drink. & when I asked the girl who took my order if they had a restroom she said no we dont In the most nasty way. Smh! Never going to this Starbucks location.

Idk why the upstairs area keeps getting shut down but its really frustrating if you think youll be able to sit and you cant. Not to mention they blast the music so you cant even hear if your drink was called. Service is slow to top it off.

The staff is rude and not friendly. Their barista skills are at McDonalds employee level. There are so many better and less expensive coffee places on the block.

I always have to wait 15-30 mins for a lemonade no matter how busy, and my lemonade is warm, so warm it melted the ice. Put your things in the fridge.

Made an mobile order and it wasnt ready when I arrived because first the blender was not working so they where no Frappuccinos, then asked to get it hot instead and they didnt have it neither. Ended up getting a regular Capuccino instead of what I paid for. And second, the employee didnt offered me any options to get instead, I asked them for anything else as I was already there and I had already paid online.

Fast service. Drink was perfect

Typical Starbucks. They have upstairs seating and just one bathroom. Decent place to sit down and have a coffee.

This is the worst most ghetto starbucks ever.I was on line and when it was my turn one of the guys at the cash register left the register and the other one didnt want to attend me.They got angry at each other and the one i was already about to order from got angry and left.The other one just kept skipping me and taking other costumers because he said the other guy was suppose to take my order. I left without anything to drink.They should both be fired.This place is so lazy they couldnt even heat up hot water to make coffee

Serving too long. The queue at the checkout of 3-5 people turns into a real problem. Often only one cashier is open.

Always sooo busy and not enough space.

Waited 20 minutes for Bathroom. No toilet paper. So, went to counter to order and was told they are only serving water because they close in 20 minutes..... the employee was very rude. Not impressed starbucks.

Mobile order pickup is a mess, even in a quiet afternoon.20 minutes since placing the order and I guess I need to cut my losses and accept the one they finally made is still wrong.

I dont know what happened to all the other reviewers, but i had great customer service on all 3 of my seperate visits. Def not a regular, and the upstairs was always open and has a very comfortable environment. Music is a little too loud, but it doesnt bother me

This has been the worst Starbucks Ive been to. I get busy in the morning and always busy but have better customer service. We all as NYers deal with tourist but dont forget about the ones whom live here. Wrong deals posted in the store that they do not honor. I will walk extra blocks before coming back. 3 times Ive been to this one and am astonished and the blatant disregard to helping out and trying to not even show a joyful time. Been to plenty others where they are slammed and had a much better experience. Shame

Ryana had horrible customer service. She was rushing us and giving horrible attitude because there was a line. If one cant work with customers then find a different job. This starbucks needs to improve their customer service skills.

Lovely place and great beverage as always.

The service was really horrible and the cashier was unkind. I had to repeat my order several times because she wanted me to say exactly the complete name with the right pronunciation of the piece of cake I wanted. For sure my english is not perfect, but I had no problem in any other restaurant, shop, or place where I had to speak. I also tried pointing at the piece of cake saying the last one on the left. No way!Furthermore, I had to wait almost 15 minutes to be served because they lost part of my order.At the end I had my coffee frappuccino that is something chemical. They prepare this thing extracting some sort of fluid matters from several jars. I think that sturbucks workers dont even know what coffee looks like.The restroom was out of order.
