Typical quality of service you would expect from Starbucks but the catch here is to make sure that there are open especially in the morning. I even ordered food once on the app and when I showed up the door was closed and workers inside wouldnt bother to open the door and they showed me 7 fingers...am assuming they were trying to tell me they are opening at 7am. I didnt bother to get that latte and bagel I paid for that morning cause I was too upset with them.So in conclusion if they are open, if are not backed up with orderes and if they actually have the products ...there is a chance you gonna get decent drink and or a snack.

My mobile order was not ready when I got there but not unusual. The awful part is that because I ordered a flat white had to wait for the freaking cashier to be done with customers before she could make my coffee. So I ordered 10 minutes earlier than anyone walking in but got my drink last (people that ordered after me got their drinks faster). Last time I will be coming to this location - going 100% to DD. I was trying to balance things out to support my local community business but nah! Not worth my time or money

I wanted a refreshing drink and this was recommended to me. An iced lemonade with peach and passion fruit.

Ordered a mango dragonfruit lemonade and received just lemonade. They didnt tell me they were out of the dragonfruit.If this was what I was going to get i wouldnt have ordered it. One worker here saw my disappointment and ended up putting strawberries in the drink. Thank you to them. Its something.Service here isnt so great. Saw an elderly woman right after me have issues with her drink not being made correctly. In addition, was rude to her. These drinks as pricey, lets make them right. Or least say you dont have the ingredients to make them properly. Other Starbucks compensate for waiting too long, incorrect orders, not being satisfied etc. Not that they all have to, just note this Starbucks does not.

This is my second day visiting this location and I’m extremely satisfied with the service here. The staff embodies what I remember of Starbucks… great service with a smile! The food and drinks are on point at this location and it’s clean!

My order got ignored and got the wrong order afterward. I have an allergy and had to go to the emergency room because of the wrong order. How hard is it to get someone the correct order?

Just stopped in to this Starbies after a day in the city. The baristas were super-friendly and polite! One of the best experiences I’ve had at a Starbies! Only drawback was a smallish location so no seating, but that doesn’t detract from the comfortableness of the location. Thanks!!

Terrible wifi and no chairs in the front - starbucks everywhere are going down the tubes - they really need to work at making a better atmosphere and at this one the wifi is at like 1999 speeds

Theyre generally pretty good about getting orders made quickly and accurately. The only thing is that the recent renovation removed all the seating, so its just a place to mill about waiting for your order and nothing more. Its a little sad since its right by the medical campus and the Armory, with visitors, med students, and runners who used to hang out here, and now it seems kind of sad without that vibe.

Service was super slow and they got my order wrong but the drinks were good and the facility was clean.

Hey its Starbucks, the place smells amazing, and the staff is friendly. Fast service, even with the crowd...the display showing statis of your order is handy. Really appreciate the friendly with a smile staff.

Came by at 10:30 pm and they turned the lights on me at the door. He stated under staffed so they decided to close 30 min early. I am usually understaffed at my job every day. And we do not close early. Just wanted to buy a gift card as a gift and he said come tomorrow. Wow...

Everything was great! First time since covid doing Starbucks again, however the only negative was another customer while at register asking for my change $2-3...that was something I did not expect. And Service is a lot slower than it use to be at a Starbucks but I get it, people are burnt out and way over worked...I appreciated how well the barista handled a lady too that walked right in and demanded water!!! Nothing about Starbucks or employees that is about the type of other customers I never expected at Starbucks...makes it sort of not a relaxed environment for everyone else working and customers. Hope they can maybe get some sort of security for the safety of everyone. ☆☆☆☆☆

I cant get enough of Starbucks it is my go-to place. I gotta put myself on a budget because I can spend in a paycheck about $125 I am loading every 3-4 days $25

This is a really nice Starbucks location, but be prepared to wait a bit for your order! In my experience, they’re always super busy. But, I’m still giving 5-stars because the staff here are super nice & my order has always come out perfect with each visit. Your coffee is worth the short wait, promise!

The quality and speed of service is excellent even though its very busy.

For the past couple visits I’ve made to this Starbucks location, I ordered whipped cream with my drink. Both times my drink came without whipped cream, although I could see other customers’ drinks with whipped cream. Why do the baristas always leave the whipped cream off my drinks, while I still seem to get charged for it?

Absolutely do not go here in the morning—even if you’re like me and you order ahead 25 mins before you get to the store (even though the estimated wait time says 9 mins), you’ll still have to wait another 10 mins and not even get your drink because you have to go to work. Either order your drink 35 to 45 mins ahead of time and risk it being lukewarm or melted by the time you arrive, or know that you’ll absolutely be late to work—even though you planned ahead. I understand it’s right by NY Presbyterian Hospital, and the employees get slammed with orders….but then you have to up the staff on shift at that time. Truly I’ve given them so many chances after experiencing the same situation. I highly recommend them fine tuning their management systems because it’s really hindering the functionality of the business. Dunkin’ is a half block away and much more reliable with their order ahead, which people in this area need because they are all going to work, so that is where I’ll be taking my business. Such a shame.

My boyfriend and I came to New York and needed a quick pick me up and being Starbucks fans, this place was awesome!! quality Starbucks. we ordered breakfast sandwiches and since they put an extra one in on accident, they gave it to us for free! This is my favorite Starbucks to go to. I usually don’t leave reviews but I want the staff to know how much they are appreciated! They have always been super sweet even though I barely ever have cash to tip them :( (please add tips on cards!) They’re the friendliest Starbucks I’ve been too. I wish I knew the name of one girl I always get at the register but she worked on Nov 30th around 2pm. She’s always been great!

I only go for their refresher drinks. I love the peach green tea lemonade drink. My new favorite. And I bring my fur baby along for her pupachino🥰

Don’t even bother ordering online from them. Every - and I mean EVERY - time they have just refused to read the special instructions on my order, or even follow the main order itself.You check decaf or whipped cream, and you get caffeinated and no whip. You purchase blueberry oatmeal, and you get regular oatmeal.One time I even managed to reach the manager by phone and walked him through the order - and they still got it wrong.I know they are capable of following direction. Because when you order in person, you don’t need to supervise them and they manage to get it right.It’s all just so unprofessional and inexcusable.So if you want your order right, you will have to go to the place and order. For some, this won’t always be possible. But, obviously, they don’t care about losing business.

Im typically patient when it comes to the service industry however, the experience in this location has to be one of the worst I’ve had. Not only did I place a mobile order, but then was kept waiting for over 40 mins for it to reflect up as ready (which it was not). More than that, I saw a number of people whom ordered in-store and left with their order, while I still remained waiting.I proceeded about 30 mins into waiting to ask for a status update on my drink and went out of my way to ask them to disregard the cold foam in my order just to speed up the process. They then gave me what appeared to be my order which was a hot matcha (when I ordered an iced) and dismissed even adding a pump of flavoring (which I had paid for). Ended up just leaving with the hot drink, as I couldn’t wait any longer for a re-make of a new one. However, to have been kept waiting for almost an hour for one drink (that was ordered ahead of time) is absolutely insane. More than that, the order I received was completely different than what I paid for, even when asking them to remove aspects in order to make the barista’s job easier.Truly hope they get to work on their overall team efficiency, as I think if more baristas were actually making drink orders, there wouldn’t be such a significant wait time.

There is a problem at this Starbucks.Many people from the street, probably homeless come in from what I observed every 10 minutes with this entitlement request of a tall good quality plastic cup of water with ice.The people came in dirty, smelly, or just having this deserving of a cup of water tone in their voice where paid customers were waiting for their paid order. And they also came into the guest for handouts.Very annoying.It looked out of control.Nobody wants to see trashy people in the store when they pay a lot of money for a drink

Rude, Obnoxious, employees against Hispanic. Everytime I go I always get a attitude. I always try to give them the benefit of the doubt. But when I stand there and wait. I see how they treat curtain Hispanics. But with everyone else they very polite. Management should train them better. We all equal!!!! A big zero

Weekdays, Im there. Drinks are 90 percent deliciously made. Either way, I wont stop visiting unless I change workplace. Download the app, put in your mobile order for no wait but you knew that already.

This location is always extremely crowded since it is right next door to a large hospital. The store itself is very small and makes it difficult for customers to even move around. They have definitely outgrown the location. Some days there are so many people, the line is out the door and they dont have enough staff; I cant tell you how many people left without their order even though they paid because the wait was longer then people could afford to give (since most of us are hospital employees). I have placed mobile orders almost everyday so it saves me the headache (or so i thought) but most times, its not ready or they forget part of my order or someone walked off with my order because no one really monitors the mobile section so i end up have to wait even longer to have it remade.Slow days, theyre great. I just think they need more manpower and a larger area to accommodate the demand.

I come here at maybe around 4pm or so and for some reason was closed. At least put up a sign saying you’re closed and not just watch people pull on the door, while you’re standing right in front of it. And then the female employee made a face. Put up a sign and don’t be rude.

The staff are very friendly. The coffee is good but overpriced like all Starbucks of course. I bought a breakfast egg wrap that seemed overheated from being microwaved. It was the only thing i ate that morning. Within two hours I had severe nausea. I spent the next 24 hours vomiting and unable to get out of bed. Maybe they should check expiration dates. Anyway, I wont buy food from Starbucks again. But the coffee maybe. I like those iced vanilla lattes they have in the summer.

The service was fast when we were there. I always love their drinks. People on the counter are always nice and welcoming. Once I ordered chai latte from there which was blunt with less taste of chai.

After a doctor appointment at New York/Presbyterian Hospital, a huge multi- building, multi-blocks complex nearby, I headed to this Starbucks at 168th and Broadway in Manhattan. Immediately upon entering the front door I noticed there was a very long line and only one cashier. I glanced around the place to see if there was anywhere I might sit for a coffee, and saw an area up front that had three small tables and a few high stools directly in front of the street side window, where there is no view of anything but traffic and scaffolding. There was also a narrow seating area in the very back which had just two tables.You need to have patience here since the line to the one cashier sometimes can be 12 people reaching to the front door entrance. It took five minutes for the woman in front of me to get her order straightened out. Finally I got my coffee and it seemed to take several minutes and I sat up near the entrance. The line grew longer and two men wanted to wait but gave up and left.Here the music is far too loud, and it is annoying. It literally blasts out of the wall and ceiling speakers. Perhaps the employees like the garbage they call music, but it is not pleasant to endure this. The WiFi did work, but otherwise I doubt I will go to this place again. Frankly, it did not look particularly upscale or very clean, and since there was no white sugar canister or packets, I had to use 10 tiny packets of brown sugar in my coffee.Starbucks: the McDonalds of Coffee

I dont patronize any cafe that doesnt have a bathroom. Thats a bare minimum and in most states illegal not to have.

Possibly the worst and slowest Starbucks.Drinks are always terrible and takes over 20 minutes to get a simple loaf of bread.So much staff in one spot but yet half of them are looking around cluelessly.

This is one of the worst locations out there. People steal your drinks, the staff is rude and dismissive, and they take forever to make you a drink, they’re too busy chatting amongst themselves.

They took long for a mobile order. During my wait, a crowd of very loud and rowdy hoodrats came in. The leader of this crowd strolled right in, passed behind the counter and began preparing himself a drink and consumed it behind the counter. This was before the lifting of bans for fully vaccinated people. No mask. No hand washing. NOTHING. How disgusting. The woman who appeared to be supervising this very late shift seemed unphased, as if this behavior is completely normal. Even pre-pandemic this is highly unusual and unacceptable.

Good seating and friendly staff. But I can’t enjoy my time here because they play very loud pop and rap. I usually go to a coffee shop to work on something or have a conversation, and neither is easy to do here because of the intrusive music

I am quite disappointed with the lack of organization and delayed service. Often times the lines are long although there may be 6 or 7 staff in the front. The counter for milk and sugar is not stocked timely and often dirty. There needs to be better management.

This store is SO BUSY! It is not designed for the volume it handles. This location is laid out terribly and is confusing and stressful. There is also no seating and no bathroom. There needs to be more Starbucks locations in upper Manhattan/Washington heights!!! I’ve been going to Dunkin’ Donuts across the street and I know many other people in my neighborhood have as well just being this store is so bad.

It was very pleasant, the atmosphere and ambiance was peaceful and comfortable. The customer service was attentive and patient. I had a very good experience. I cant wait for my next visit.

This location is VERY busy most of the day leading to long waits that make it less than convenient for quickly grabbing a drink before catching the subway. There is also very limited seating. 3 small tables in the front, one by the storage room, and 4 barstools. The bathroom is only open to employees.

Staff is great coffee is great and this location handles MASSIVE volume. It is one of the only Starbucks past 150th in Manhattan. There definitely needs to be another location in this neighborhood. This store is also terribly laid out and disorganized and confusing. It bottle necks so much. Needs a remodel severely. Expect a very long wait to order your drink and to have it made. Pro tip. Use the Starbucks mobile app to order ahead and avoid the chaos. Or there’s a Dunkin’ Donuts across the street.

The staff here are friendly and very efficient. There is often a long line to order, but it moves substantially faster than most other Starbucks locations do.Getting seating can be tough here though.Unfortunately they no longer have a customer rest room. You can blame the too many times that the staff had to clean up drug needles in the bathroom trash for that unfortunately

Go to place to get coffee in the neighborhood. Reliably tasty.Staff is a mixed bag, some are great and friendly, others could care less and are rather rude.

Service has gone down hill in recent months. The service has become slow and the place has these long lines. When assistance is needed the Baristas have this unfriendly attitude and act as if they are doing you a favor by fixing the order they got wrong to begin with.Improvement is a very much needed ASAP

Typical Starbucks, Nice and clean. The tables were not sticky. This establishment is smaller than most. Staff serves with a smile.Of course the lines are long but its worth it for the caffiene.

This store is right next to the hospital and it also serves the community most of the time the lines are extremely long and one has to prepare to wait in my opinion they should have more staff at the end making the beverages instead of two person and the line would go faster.

What is being called a sitting area is similar to the bathrooms on charter buses. Really Starbucks! Company is supposed to cater to the commuter especially in the area of NYP. Was very disappointed.

I’ve never left a google review before but I was compelled to do so by the amazing service offered by Barista TOMMY. He’s pleasant and cheerful. His work ethics and ability to simultaneously serve customer is amazing. I don’t know him but I’m truly proud. I hope Starbucks knows how much of an asset he is and reward him accordingly.

If you like to wait a long time to overpay, Starbucks is the place for you. The coffee is really good however.

This place is always filled with people and normally that would be fine but they spend all their energy on mobile orders that they barely take care of the people who order in store. If the mobile orders are so overwhelming then stop taking them for a bit.Also why does it say you’re open at 5am and it’s 5:15 and the doors are locked?I walked to the door at 5:09 and the doors were locked and they put 5 up to say they would open in 5m.We came back in 5 m , door still locked , the girl who said 5m looked up, rolled her eyes and came to open the door. So that was a nice way to start the morning.Walked in, no one said anything, no greeting. Just a negative atmosphere.I work in the area so I’m unfortunately here often and it’s my least favorite store but I do enjoy their coffee.Not a fan of the employees and service here.

Went and got a coffee here last night and was disappointed with the fact that there was no station with napkins, sugar stirrers ,straws etc. I spilled some coffee on the floor and asked the young lady at the register for some napkins. They said they didnt have any and they would clean up the mess in a minute. I thought there was a bathroom in the back and I was told that there was no public bathroom. Very disappointed being that I traveled from all the way downtown with traffic to go to that starbucks. Ten minutes from by and no one came to clean the coffee that was dropped on the floor.. It was trying to avoid someones slipping on it and being a liability.

I asked her don’t the store close at 9:30 and she said there has been a change in plans, and she closed the door. So rude. Please let your customers know the exact time you open and close please. Fast and friendly atmosphere for a cup of chai and catch up with work

I ordered an iced caramel macchiato ahead of time on the Starbucks app. Got there 12 minutes later and didn’t see my order so I asked the lady closest to pick up area if the order had come through. She (I later found out her name is Shay) rudely pointed to a cup of milk sitting at the counter and said well there it is. She then pours some coffee on it (without the requested caramel) and puts it on the counter where I’m standing and walks away. I choose Starbucks over other brand coffee shops due to the good service but today’s experience left a bad taste. Very disappointed.

Never open at 05:00 like their website/google states. Multiple times i’ve had to wait in the cold for 20-30 minutes. Terrible location. Poorly managed. Clearly no one is overseeing the punctuality of their careless staff. Do not use! Go to the hospital starbucks site instead.

The worst toasted white chocolate Mocha I have ever had. For the price we pay, I would expect that the milk is at least warmed if not properly steamed and the espresso is added to coffee, but no luck. No whipped cream, no sugar. Valid vibe. Chill setting, coffee is norm but is then paired with extraordinary flavors to sell the life. Tea is exceptional, variety is many. Food has vegan choices in the bundle. you shouldnt be detered by any randomness energy people fly in with considering its across the street from a great hospital besides this random list. Finally there isnt a restroom. Enjoy !

The place is clean and most of the staff is kind and fast. But my main complain is for mobile ordering there is never oatmilk. I k ow they have cause I’ve ordered it in person, but there never is an option via the app. I’ve told the manager and they stated it was not in their control but that was a year ago and this is still happening, maybe they don’t care to fix issue

No bathrooms at this place. Long line long wait for drink.

Came with my baby to kill time. Other customers were very nice, offering me a seat. Only 2 starts because I want given a fork/knife with my fruit and cheese box and theres NO bathroom here, so nowhere to change my baby when she started crying

Its Starbucks. Expensive drinks and nowhere to sit. I couldnt imagine studying here or anything approaching relaxing, though perhaps every time Ive been, its just been busy. Drink is always too hot and doesnt have a great coffee character to it. Three stars because my order is always correct and promptly made, and mobile ordering and gift cards make it too convenient to skip. If you want better coffee, Kozy Fresh around the corner has better prices and better flavor.

This was very weird. Some of the staff yelling they dont want to be there, time was about 235-ish. The loudest of them all unfortunately she was black and was just yelling saying what she was and was not going to do and it seems like she is the one that eggs everyone else. I dont know, not sure when I will be back. I asked someone else to prepare my order bc she was to reckless for me.

This particular Starbucks might be incredibly busy and crowded at times, but the amazingly (and unreasonably) patient and accommodating AND fun staff cheers me up every day. If I ever had an issue with a drink, they would genuinely apologize and remake the drink for me. Thank you for making my morning grad school routine bearable.

Your EMPLOYEE ANNA was Rude! the way she talked to me . I even overheard her saying OUTLOUD to the girl with the glasses,Why did i clock back in, i dont wanna be here.No laughs just pure dread & it showed with how she dealt with every Customer.I can verify this in person if need be.She either needs to be retrained or relived from working there since she obviously doesnt want to be a Starbucks Team Member.9/20/21

My mobile orders are usually accurate and ready when I get there. On my most recent visit, I had to choose an alternate flavored espresso beverage and noticed that the employee touched the inside of the cup with his bare hands...he was friendly and all, but management needs to speak to their employees about handling food items and containers. Not everyone has good hygiene, and even so, this is NOT good practice. Food handlers touch all kinds of surfaces which only calls for u wanted cross contamination...even with gloves. So perhaps management needs to do refresher seminar of video on how to handle food containers.

Terrible service, and the store is never open at 5am like it says online. Always a line outside waiting. Poorly run. Not sure how Starbucks allows this to happen to one of their stores.

Cozy location, I was just happy to charge my phone. But the cake pop was delicious!

No customer restroom, how is that legal? AC was blasted, way too cold. Had to leave because of that alone. One staffmember was a little rude. Another brought me the wrong sized coffee (but mistakes happen, and she was at least nice about it).
