The best coffee in NY, I’ve been trying many coffees, but the 11th’s st cafe has been the best for me, good food, I ordered the AM Wrap, and it was delicious, also the music, the ambience and the service was perfect, I’ll repeat it. Thank you
Great smoothie (i got 11th str smoothie) - not freezing your teeth and throat, just a perfect cool temperature, it was creamy and rich. It took a bit of wait though. Not cheap - a smoothie and a cookie were a bit over $20. There are four tiny tables and three bar stools, the place is tiny and you most probably wont be able to get a seat.
Great service, super cute vibe and decor. Staff were very friendly welcoming and helpful. Food is very very good and the drinks too! If you come off a busy time youll be able to find seating and have a great time - do reccomend.
Pretty tight quarters. The walnut scone was generously sized.
Hidden gem! Had a top notch scone and Americano here the other day. Cozy interior with enough seating. Looked like there was some good options for food beyond the pastries too.
Stopped by here after seeing it last week during my very roundabout morning commute. Today, I had the best breakfast sandwich outside of my native South, the Buttermilk Biscuit with egg, actual cheddar cheese, and sausage. Big, hearty---excellent biscuit. Im going to ask where they get them from next time Im there or if they make them in-house. Loved, loved, loved it. Had a fresh pressed Cucumber Chill too, also good but an acquired taste methinks. UPDATE: returned a week later and had same biscuit but with bacon, ahhhh, bacon (my wife usu forbids it these days, shhhhh) and it was a again delicious, so they seem to be consistently good!
Great food and service. Mistakenly put ice water (thought it was milk) in my coffee, told them, we all laughed about it and they gave me a re-do coffee. They run a tight ship.BEC croissant is 🤌
Decent coffee and a good selection of croissants.
My favorite cafe in NYC! The nicest people work here, atmosphere is always 10/10. Best matcha, bagels and breakfast.
I hadnt planned on writing a review, but after ordering a Chai Latte in Milan, I felt compelled to express my disappointment—it was far inferior to the one at the 11th Street Cafe. I enjoyed the Chai Latte there so much that I ended up ordering two. The bagels were outstanding, and the ambiance was wonderfully cozy. Though the seating area is somewhat tight, its still comfortable enough to savor the delicious food and drinks. For me, this place quickly became a favorite breakfast spot, and the owner was remarkably friendly!
I came in here while having the trip of my LIFFFFEEEE. I thought I unlearned english until the barista asked me what I wanted. I calmed down and said pepperoni, to my surprise she had no idea what I was talking about.I was offended at the time but now I understand. Im sorry to this very sweet and kind barista. I wasnt in my right mind and didnt mean to mansplain what a pepperoni pizza was to you. Im sorry that I got distracked halfway through my sentence and just walked out. That was rude of me!Great trip though, cute coffee shop, definitely added to my experience overall.
Was searching for Orso coffee but stumbled across this shop whilst browsing around. Entered cafe/ coffee shops in Goog. maps but this didnt even come up for some bizarre reason. Anyhow, I said lets give it a try. Cozy atmosphere. Nice array of authentic and high grade coffee. Their baked goods, like many oth coffee shops was mostly butter, sugar, etc. in other words poison. They also had ample and cozy seating options. Music ✔️and the guy who assisted me was truly hospitable, courteous, amicable and honest. Prices are also reasonable; would go back if I was in the area.
A chill spot in the neighborhood. The setting do the cafe was great and the staff was very friendly.Got a fruit cup and a green tea latte. The quality was pretty good : fruits were fresh, and the strawberries inside were actually sweet - not that common. The matcha latte got skim milk option and the taste was a little bland to me.A nice little spot overall.
Coffee, food, everything was great! Couldn’t find an outlet to plug laptop in, but otherwise no complaints. Cozy little shop
Used to live above this place for years. It felt like the most cozy New York spot. Great staff, food, and coffee.
It’s such a nice and yummy neighborhood spot. So busy; but the service here is so warm and friendly; always. Love being here if a table is available. Everything on the menu is yummy.
Loved the pumpkin latte! The pancake special also looked great!
Super quaint place and the coffee was spot on!
The veggie bagel with sprouts, cucumber, spinach, and cream cheese was so fresh and the homemade caramel in the latte was amazing. Cozy, quaint digs for hanging out with a laptop for an hour.
One of my favorite coffee shops in the west village.
Charming little spot with 7 small tables, + COVID shelter on the street; nice food
Amazing gluten free pancakes and espresso. very welcoming cafe
This place is delicious. Portions are big and very filling. The scrambled egg bowls, croissants are amazing, omelettes are huge and come with a little salad.Just like every NY cafe it’s small inside, but there is additional outdoor seating.Be aware that there is no menu listed inside the restaurant except for coffee menu at the register. Use the Google maps or chownow menus because the menu on their website is 15 years old and was a shock to them when we mentioned it.Definitely will come again, just more prepared on the prices
Great chicken salad sandwich. Very much enjoyed it on multi-grain bread. Cozy indoor dining space available but I got takeout. They were fast and the staff were friendly :)
Nice spot for coffee & WiFi
Really nice place for breakfast! The food is amazing and the staff also.
I wasn’t planning on writing a review, but as I ordered a Chai Latte in Milan I was so disappointed with how not good it was compared to the 11th street cafe one…I loved it so much at this place that I actually bought two…The bagels too were good and the atmosphere was very cozy. The seating area is tight but you squeeze without problem to try the food and coffe/ drinksIn my opinion this was one of my best go to places for breakfast and the owner was so nice! Can’t wait to come back
It was a good cafe. Kind of mid for west village but nothing wrong with it. Just good
Great FoodVery Good CoffeeGreat Company🎄
Absolute favorite local cafe ❤️. So incredibly tasty, coziest atmosphere and best service !! Don’t sleep on their sandwiches 🤤.
Incredible food and coffee. Best almond croissant I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend it!
The breakfast burrito was sooo good! Staff were friendly and the cafe was so tiny and cute. Exact kind of spot I was looking for.
Down to earth, no frills, off the beaten path neighborhood café. Great coffe! Food and wine is offered as well, but I only had coffee.
Fantastic chicken tahini salad wrap and house made tomato soup. Quiet side street cafe with relaxed atmosphere.
Quiet location appeared idea for working remotely. Great customer service and quality food/ drinks.
Got a Pumpkin Spice Late. Pretty Pretty…… Pretty Good!
The best scrambles in NYC. Actual scrambles and not just omelettes. (They have omelettes, too, and I’m sure they’re incredible, but I’m not really an omelette fan. But sweet Christ, their scrambles are so good.)The AM Wrap is the best breakfast sandwich of all time, anywhere in the world. That’s not hyperbole. It might be my favorite SANDWICH of all time. I moved uptown and they don’t deliver to me anymore and it’s almost worth moving again.I love this place so much.Update: Postmates will deliver the 50 or so blocks to me. What a miracle.
This is my favorite coffee shop in the city. The best coffee, the best location and by far the best staff. I love 11th St coffee !
Not just a café but a public service. Maud and the café kind of tie the neighborhood together in some really nice ways.Excellent muffins, excellent bagels, excellent biscuits. There is nothing here that isn’t top shelf.
A great place to do work when you want to be among people. The coffee is smooth and yummy, and the baristas are welcoming. The difference between this cafe and most others in the area is the aura of calm, possibly due to its tucked away location.
Pricey!! and not very quick/efficient so dont be in a rush like I was, however the wrap was made nicely and was tasty, little skimpy on the filling portion size and needed more seasoning. There was a guest with a dog there though, that was the highlight
Breakfast burrito had too much rice. Seating is cramped
This is a very cute cafe/coffee shop serving excellent coffee and an array of breakfast choices. I enjoyed an egg bowl of scrambled eggs with cheddar and bacon to accompany my cup of coffee. Everything was delicious. Very nice, friendly, and helpful staff, made me feel right at home.
Great spot for coffee/breakfast. SEC biscuit was unreal
Enjoyed our breakfast. Fried egg BLT was very tasty. My wife had the Veggie Bagel, they had good judgment with their selection of ingredients.
Im an absolutely sucker for the biscuit breakfast sandwiches they have here. I could eat one for every meal of the day and not get sick of them! However, the coffee is pretty disappointing. Its always kind of thick and tarry. I havent tried any of the fancier drinks, so maybe those are a little more palatable.
My favorite cafe in New York! So cozy and welcoming with amazing breakfast options!!
Pancakes and eggs were great! Coffee ans OJ too!
Best iced coffee in the village and kindest people. One of the last true neighborhood spots.
Very cozy and delicious breakfast options!
Very cozy breakfast stop and warm and friendly wait staff. Glad to see side street spots like this still exist!
Great crowd, reasonably priced food and of course the coffee is worth waiting in line for. It’s a very neighborhoodie spot... great for meeting new peeps while enjoying some good food and drink. Their Cucumber Lemonade is friggin awesome!
Atmosphere: 3/10Drink: 8/10Service: 2/10The interior is in need of a renovation, and it took the barista about 5 times to remember my order. That being said, the chai latte itself was good.
Our lovely neighbors who makes great latte!
Today, I ordered a small cappuccino with whole milk. After receiving my order, I tried my coffee and realized that the milk was spoiled. I returned back to the the cafe instantly and asked to get a new cup of coffee. I politely explained to the woman that the milk is not good and that I would like a new coffee. The woman, who also is the owner, gave me a nasty attitude. She contradicted me by saying that the milk is not spoiled and that it is good until May 20. I explained to her that not only me but my sisters and mother had also tried the coffee and said that it was spoiled. The customer service here is very terrible. I do not recommend going here and I definitely will not be returning. Worst experience ever!
Morgen, Selena, and Abraham have made our coffeeshop into a second home for so many years, to say nothing for what seeing their sweet faces meant during Covid. I feel so lucky to have lived across the street from such wonderful humans for so long.
Banana bread is really great! The matcha latte tastes so grassy and fresh, and the ambiance of the place is nice. Sunlight streams in during the early afternoon, and theres a bench outside to sit on. Just out of the way enough to have a neighborhood feel 👍
Love this little place (it is tiny). Great egg dishes, bagels, turkey & brie sandwich, and fruit smoothies. Everything is prepared fresh and the service is really friendly. My favorite local spot.
Good selection of lunch menu with wine and beer. Chill atmosphere in a very trendy neighborhood of West Village. Absolutely love the vibe, perfect for working or chatting with friends.
Cute spot with outdoor seating, decent sandwiches.
One of my favorite places! A bunch of amazing people work here. Love their coffee and pastries! I highly recommend this place. ❤️
Cute coffee shop with good food options
The avocado 🥑 toasts with eggs are one of the most delicious brunch I have ever had. Coffee is also great!
Warm charming coffee shop with comfy seating. Very welcoming and delicious coffee. Watched the World Cup games here.
A little gem in the West Village. A coffee shop that also serves eggs, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries.
11th Street is the tops. A total lifesaver in the neighborhood with lots of fresh, healthy foods in all sorts of interesting dishes great for breakfast lunch or a snack. I drink at least a cold brew a day.
Cozy coffee shop in west village
Best neighborhood Cafe.Best scones in NYC. Baked on premises
Incredibly cozy place with a family feel to it. The service was great and it felt like we were part of their little family. The food was fingerlicking good!
The waiter Morgan refused to clean a dirty table and told me to get out of here. A blond one with a hat. The rudest experience I have ever had.
This is my go to place. Everything they do is excellent. Morgen and the team is so good at making everyone feel like its their place, their home. Great food!
Food is great and love their coffee. Also eveone is very friendly 😊
This has been a favorite and a good-to for me for over a decade now. I used to go here multiple times a week when I was a personal trainer at a private studio a few blocks away in 2011-2012 and I’ve long moved out of NYC but I make sure to swing by every time I visit. The coffee, bagels, and pastries are great. I even love their oatmeal and have tried to recreate it at home. Do not sleep on this tiny little gem nestled in the West Village
Just ordered an eggs scramble. Nailed it! Absolutely delicious. Also ordered oatmeal: perfection! TYSM
Solid local spot. Friendly service, great food / coffee drinks, and consistently good crowd hanging out (many of them locals)
The best coffee and the best almond croissant! Very friendly service. Interesting art on the walls. If there was something negative... The seating area is tiny and it was a bit messy during our visit.
Very nice and welcoming place, authentic french vibes guaranteed.Definitely my go to place to get a coffee in New York
Fast, fresh food, cute space!!!! Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!!!!
Not only was the cuisine exquisite, but the barista Enzo had service out of this world. What a character
Worst customer service by far in the area, that woman on the phone needs to learn some manners before being put in a social position
Coziest french Café in the West village. Good Price, good coffee, good time.
Certainly over hyped. Ordered a machiatto and got something more like a latte. Ambience is also just okay.
They forgot half of my order. The matcha latte is not something Id want to try again.
Such a neighborhood gem. My favorite place to get coffee on a Sunday morning. Warm and cozy with an excellent Americano.
This is my favorite Cafe in the West village. It is low key and appropriately priced.
Gorgeous little place. Delicious food and adorably friendly staff. So glad I found this place!
Just walked into the place and the French barista let three French people jump the line while Im ordering a coffee with her. Appalling.
Very good breakfast options, delicious BEC. Cute cafe.
Card machine hasnt worked 2 times in a row
Cozy no frills Cafe. Good for doing work at if its off peak times
My favorite cafe for 18 years
Exceptional food my fave place to meet n eat!
Great tiny setting to get some work done
Nice little cafe. Good food. Slightly snooty French hostess
Best coffee shop in the village!
Friendly staff, free WiFi, lots of power outlets, and good coffee/tea/snacks.
Thinking about you guys at this time difficult time. Are you guys taking up a collection for the displaced workers? Contact me if so — [email protected]. I’d like to help.
The best cafe in the West Village!!!
JUST WOW, so delish! Had their Croissant breakfast sandwich with eggs, cheddar, bacon & added scallions. It was perfection, a triumph in breakfast sandwiches! If youre hankering for a breakfast sandwich this is your place. The fresh squeezed OJ was also very good. Service was great. Cozy little place but great place to chill and enjoy.
Great bagels great service. Highly recommended
Charming setting. Tasty food. Served with a smile.
Amazing little cafe. Staff is very friendly
Food is great. Best service. Enzo is fantastic
Best flat white in Manhattan
Quiet place to go in the way West Village. Small and neighborhood-y.
Nice atmosphere and friendly people. I love to come here and vibe.
The girl at the register was so rude when we simply asked if they were still serving breakfast. Absolutely ruined the experience and we wanted to leave immediately.First impressions are everything..
I absolutely love this place! The staff are incredibly friendly and the bagels are to die for. One of the best spots to sit with a coffee and get some work done. You can tell its a local favourite and not in any way a tourist trap. You can sit in the window and see the real NYC passing you by :-) thanks guys
Great place for a bite hidden jem in NYC
Convenient, cozy neighborhood spot. Beyond that, rude staff, tried to double charge us, and the food and coffee is mediocre. Head to Maman or Kobrick instead.
Croissant, egg, cheese and avocado sandwich was heaven. The avocado was perfect. Yummy juice as well! Staff was very polite and friendly.
Nice casual spot to get some great food and coffee. The staff is also very sweet and kind.
Good good barista coffee
Hey I love this place! Great vibes and wonderfulservice. Its my weekend hangout place, Try the chicken salad sandwich!
Cute cafe with a good selection of breakfast pastries. Decent coffee. Very cozy, so space is tight and limited. Also, they wont let you use the bathroom, so keep that in mind. Still, a nice place.
Nice spot with delicious breakfast sandwiches. Bacon, egg and cheese on the biscuit will not disappoint. They also have coffee, pastries and the like.
We love breakfast at this cafe. The breakfast smoothie is delightful and the scrambled eggs with cheddar and spinach are addictive.
THE BEST
11th street cafe is THE BEST CAFE in the west village. The staff are amazing, in particular, the manager Morgan!!
I don’t know what I would do without this place. The pastries, bowls and salads have kept me coming for the last 5 years. Perfect cozy space to study and chill.
Good food. My go to coffeshop. Never frantic... just friendly and relaxed. Great mix of people. Food is consistently yummy.
Arrived from Oz and This place was a life saver. Great food, lovely people and, yes, good coffee. Hallelujah
Favorite spot in nyc 🤍
Awesome friendly neighborhood cafe with a great breakfast/lunch menu. The turkey sandwich was big and very fresh. Nice coffee menu and homemade pastries. Small seating areas with wi-fi. Family owned
I go to the 11th Street Cafe multiple times each week. Its small but very tasty. The staff is friendly and the coffee is great. I highly recommend the bacon biscuit sandwich!
Super cool staff. Amazing food
Great coffee shop. Avocado toast was just ok but coffee was great. Tight fit but everyone was friendlyGood WiFi!
Its enjoyable sitting and working here. Although the music is loud but good tunes and the short cashier talks kind of loud. Overall good coffee, chill place and lovely lemonades.
Good coffee and breakfast sandwich. Fairly reliable wifi. Only cons were the tight space and dirty tables.
I visited this place after reading that it was a laptop-friendly cafe. However, I didnt enjoy my experience. It was incredibly squeezed, had one outlet in sight for three tables -- who were practically sitting on top of one another -- , and I watched the barista pour a bad shot that had already long lost its crema into my latte. I would save your time and go to the cafe two doors to the east.
Great service when the girl at register isn’t profiling ...it only takes one person to ruin your experience and every experience without her has been delightful and i go often enoughi waited patiently, yet kept getting attitude ...why is that?
Once upon a time in the Village lived a little girl names Goldilocks. One day, while clad in a beret and smoking on the corner, she was struck with an intense fatigue and knew only one solution: a hot cup of coffee. She tossed her smoldering Parliament to the curb and shlepped to the nearest coffee house: Blue Bottle Coffee. Inside, the barista, clad in all black gave her a curt nod. Goldilocks looked around nervously. There wasn’t even a place to sit down, and all of the cabinets were faux-Scandinavian! Panic bubbled up in her throat. “Too cold!” she turned and sprinted outside.Still feeling dreary, she wandered a bit further until she came across a colorful storefront labeled The Bean. Bouncing music drifted from inside. Feeling parched, she wandered in, where barista’s smiled and fluorescent murals covered the walls. All around her were stained glass lamps, jovial college kids and so many textures. Her blonde hair began to sweat under her beret. “Too hot!” she screamed, once again fleeing to the busy street. She wandered aimlessly West in a state of delirium, in part from emotional trauma, and in part from her crippling caffein addiction. She walked aimlessly all the way to 11th street until she was hit by the most delicious smell of fresh coffee and assorted baked goods. She stopped in her tracks and looked up at an unassuming but friendly coffee shop: 11th Street Café. Inside, she was greeted by pleasant jazz, smiling baristas, cozy seats, Wi-Fi, outlets, and a recently renovated bathroom. She ordered a Café Au Lait and a home-made biscuit and finally sat down among other Villagers. When she took a sip, she sighed with relief: “Ahhh… Just right!”And in that café, she lived happily ever after.
Cozy location. Enjoyed a great breakfast.
Food, atmosphere, and people are excellent!
Great breakfast at this trendy little coffee house. Oh yeah, and coffee is great too.
Great service, fine coffee, good food and fantastic-friendly atmosphere.
Good food - too much plastic
Nice little cafe, with good selection of sandwiches and drinks. Limited seating but really nice atmosphere
Wonderful service, host an open mic every tuesday and its always entertaining
Local neighborhood cafe, good sandwiches, better coffee.
Cosy cafe with coffee and tea starting at $3
Best local cafe in West Village!
Very cozy place, nice staff and great coffee
Great local vibe. Great lattes, which are hard to find. All the food is perfect for a coffeeshop. I recommend the egg, cheese, bacon in a biscuit......mmmm. The southern storefront exposure has ideal daylighting and the interior lighting sets a cozy ambiance. The patrons are a good mix of West Villagers. Young professionals, families, and foriegners looking for a taste of the real WV.
Get the Cubano sandwich, its awesome.
Cool wifi cafe, exquisite croissants, closes a bit early. Another laptop hipster cafe, ingredients are always the same: a warm atmosphere, wood based decor, young, cool and friendly staff, and of course, free wifi. Get yourself a cup of coffee and, surprise, a chocolate croissant, and chill. You will be disappointed when somebody will wake you up from your geeky trip, at 7pm, saying were closing.
Nice small cafe. Nothing special about the coffee, but the service was great.
This has been my breakfast spot for years!! The staff is friendly and knows what theyre doing.
Super friendly. Great chai.
Not laptop friendly at all. It has little to no space, no outlets, and doesnt even have a bathroom. Everyone on the block hates them because they keep sending customers to their bathrooms.
45 min limit on tables (because there are only 5 tables.) So, while WiFi friendly, not a good place to actually get work done.
Great breakfast smoothie!
Nice neighborhood cafe. Quiet, locals.
The best coffee shop in NY
Cute place to get nice cup of morning coffee
Really like their oatmeal
Delicious things in a friendly place👌
Really nice employees and food
Best avocado toast in town
Best avocado toast in the city
Quiet place to enjoy a drink and work
Great Latte ❤️
Great oatmeal, good coffee
Good food
The latte was mediocre.
Best coffee in town
Really good place to visit.
Cool
Very good service.
Good breakfast
Fresh and healthy
Cozy spot.
A small address discovered by chance, on the bend of a street! What a nice surprise! A warm, unpretentious place, serving very good quality bagels! The strong point is, without a doubt, the cozy and warm atmosphere! If you are in the area, dont hesitate to take a look!
Super cozy café in the West Village where you can relax and have your coffee and pain au chocolat while reading a book. Very good time thank you! ☕️
Atypical placeDelicious bagelVery good address 👌
Its a small cafe with great jazz music. Its not crowded and is located in a residential area, so you can really feel the local atmosphere of Greenwich Village. If you want to feel relaxed in New York, I recommend this place! And if youre feeling a little tired after a long walk, I recommend the cold vanilla chai latte!
WONDERFUL RESTAURANT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was closed, although according to the description it is open until 11 p.m. without a break
Nice little café with delicious sandwiches away from the tourist crowds.
Delicious breakfast and pleasant place
The coffee and bread are both very delicious haha. The blueberry scone is not dry and the latte is espresso rich and firm.
It is a good place to have good breakfasts
Good for coffee
