Me and my Friends come here every weeks , drinks were really great. But I’m really here to put in a word for the Bartender Brian. Hands down one of the best bar experiences, hes always so nice, so gentle, and so polite. All thanks to him. We love you Brian !!!!!
Best Lamb Chop deal in NYC hands down! 4 big chops with a peach jam for just $20, everyday, anytime. Will be back for the chops for sure! Cute little spot for a date also
Fantastic drinks! Love bringing folks here for the rustic speakeasy feel without the pretentiousness.Always welcoming and always a good night!
After living in Hell’s Kitchen for so long… i cannot believe it took me this long to find a gem of a cocktail bar. Starting with the decor, very quaint, classy bar with a big personality! Brian, the bartender, recommended the cherry blossom martini and when picking his brain, he crafted two custom cocktails right to my liking. If they weren’t so good, I would’ve had pictures, but I drank them too fast. Will most definitely be back. Stop in for good tunes, good drinks, and great company!
Fantastic bar/pub it does not pretend to be an English pub but it absolutely has the atmosphere. It’s excellent small inviting and welcoming Brian and newly arrived. Adam make a great team very welcoming. Excellent beer possibly the best part in New York probably
Cerissa is great! We booked at Lillys and they brought us here and it was perfect.
Very chill atmosphere, very nice server and bartender, and good music. Excellent if youre looking for a chill place to get food and drink. Robert the bartender was a great drink mixer and good company!
Fun little bar. Good music. Good food. Great cocktails. Would go again.
Super friendly staff, and very creative cocktails. The Sasparilla Sazerac was tastefully gentle to the palate and features a Baltimore offering, Sagamore.
Was only gonna stop by for a glass with the team on our way down to a different bar, but the music and staff locked us in here for a few hours! Robert is a great bartender. 10/10 time.
What happened???I went here for the first time in early October and fell in love with quality small plates and amazing cocktails. There has been a sharp decline in the quality of food & cocktails since my last visit. This past Thursday evening I felt as if I was in a totally different bar and restaurant. The tuna tartare that was fresh tuna with a wonderful citrus sauce in October was now frozen tuna smothered in bland avocado dressing. The spring roles which had been fresh, clearly distinguishable vegetables in a lightly fried & crispy wrapper were now more akin to big over fried egg roles. I also ordered fried chicken that was baked not fried and tasted old and reheated. We couldnt eat it & to their credit the wait staff did credit it off our bill. The place is known for mixology and I can testify that their menu includes some interesting and compelling cocktails. I however was in the mood for my favorite- a French 75. My niece ordered for me prior to arriving. I sat down to some relatively nice (sweeter than I would have chosen) cocktail that beared no resembleance to a French 75. I kept it with no complaint but was disappointed.Another big turnoff was a walking tour group who were visiting speakeasys and were the only other customers. They ordered one drink each from the bar and followed their guide from photo to photo along the walls of the narrow bar. They settled directly across from us & spilled into the narrow aisle that divides tables. We wound up being unable to talk to each other because of the guides unnecessarily loud remarks. To top it off the way she and her group crowded the aisle next to us also made it difficult to get waited on and hard to even leave our seats to use the rest room. The wait staff should have asked them to move a few tables away - as every other table was available.
This place is a hidden gem. We stumbled upon this place on a Sunday looking for a a happy hour and it was HH until 10pm! No where in the neighborhood can compare. Came back on Wednesday around 6pm and they were having 75 cent wings!!! Craaazyyyy I’ve never seen that anywhere. Great happy hour prices with the wings. The bar tender, Kareem, knew exactly what to make for everyone. I’d HIGHLY COME BACK.
Avoid. Beer kegs all soured / spoiled. Bartender did not acknowledge or understand what was happening. Refused to comp the beers, even though multiple people said they tasted seriously off. Gave some weird line of reasoning, like its only nine dollars!. really dude?the kicker...the bar charges a 3% processing fee on top of tax/tip, which they have literally no explanation for (because there is none). Nickeling and Diming at its worst, while poisoning patrons and taking their money. What an absurd and tone deaf team, from ownership to service staff. truly unbelievable.
Great bartender, great staff, fun tasty tapas style dishes, and an amazing drink list. Also the vibe is perfect, you can tell a lot of thought and effort went into it. Very happy to have this in my neighborhood.
Came for the shark drink. It was really cute, but pretty awful - did not taste of coconut or citrus or spice, just tasteless awful. Plus, was charged a delivery fee for sitting at a table instead of the bar??!!!
Great vibe and experience! Best late night bar around!
This was a great experience but this is not the place to go to for a steak. The customer service was on point and I really liked the environment but this steak was horrible. My friend loved the pasta!
Stepped in this gem for some drinks. The ambience was intimate and cozy. The drinks were delectable😋 Definitely worth the visit!
Yo Chris is an amazing bartender and even better dude. Cocktails are on point and hospitality is top notch. Ive been to a lot of bars and this one comes highly recommended
Innovative small cocktail bar in the heart of Hells Kitchen.Staff was friendly, bar was nice, cocktail was good.If you like a spicy smokie drink order the Cellar Door. House infused Pepper mezcal.
Way too pricy for cocktails that weren’t that good. Cellar door cocktail was so nasty we left almost all of it. Pandan daiquiri didn’t have a slight taste of pandan but drinkable as daiquiri. Service was uneven ( but friendly) and drinks not served at same time even though we waited for 20 minutes after ordering.
Everything was perfect. Then the bartender chased me two blocks because I forgot my card11 outta 10
Fantastic cocktails! Atmosphere and welcoming staff and bartenders :)
Nice to see interesting N/A cocktails on the drinks menu, but the food menu could use some vegan options.
Fun, casual cocktail bar. Unique and innovative menu, good prices, and a very fun dive-bar-esque atmosphere. Definitely feels unique in Midtown and there always seems to be a seat available. Staff is very friendly, but service style is slow, so if that isnt your jam, look elsewhere.
Great story behind the naming of the joint. This is a place you go to and hangout. The drinks are great. Molly’s martini is a top for me but everyone in my group was happy about their cocktails.Eclectic crowd. Nice music. Chill vibe. We’ll be back!
Place was cool. Placed order… half of drinks came out… then half of food came out… waited asked staff where food was and they never put it in. Food was good. More of a stand hang out and drink place rather then sit and order.
I love the bars vibes, its cool! Cocktails, the interior and lighting are awesome. Definitely Ill come here again for more drinks.
Excellent new cocktail bar in Hells Kitchen. Thoughtful drinks menu with high quality ingredients. The ambiance is great for dates or a drink after a show.
Cozy, intimate place in HK to grab drinks. I stumbled upon this place while walking on 9th Ave and was allured by their spooky Halloween decor.Highly recommend some of their cocktails. Hacienda Favela was my favorite - delightfully complex sweet flavor! Also worth trying are the IG worthy shark week and Make me stay. Both were refreshing! If youre bold and are looking for a serious spice kick, try the Cellar door. Infused inhouse with black pepper, that drink was mind-blowing.Overall, its a pretty chill spot compared to the somewhat touristy predictable bars around.
Not so great drinks with strange fees on top of the prices. There are nicer spots near by
Pricey but the staff are accommodating.
Awesome bar!!
Nice bar with very nice servers. They offer snack dishes that are served quickly and are good. I recommend
