We stumbled into this spot while in the area and were pleasantly surprised. Despite not having reservations we were able to snag seats at the bar (they also had tables available). The atmosphere was quiet enough where we could have conversations but lively enough where it didnt feel like a ghost town.I personally got two cocktails first being Mr. Pink which was light and refreshing (like a spiked ice tea but minty). Afterwards, I went for a more fruity approach and tried Charlottes Dilemma which was equally delicious but definitely on the fruity/sweeter side.The drinks are a bit more towards the pricey end here (about $24 per cocktail, which might just be average these days) but they were mixed well 👍

Service is horrendously slow, drinks watered down/not even aesthetic, and automatic 20% gratuity added to the check WITHOUT informing the customer of this policy and even if your party size is 3 people. The server brought out the check, we noticed the auto gratuity, asked to speak to the manager and he said “when you walk in here it’s an automatic 20% no matter what. It states it on the menu and bill” I asked to please see the menu and if the policy is there then no problem. He never came back with the menu. I asked another table for the menu (which I posted a video of) and it’s not there. When we are leaving I talk to him again and ask him to show me the policy on the menu and he said it’s not printed on the menu and I’m like yeah I see that 🤣, so how are we supposed to know about the policy ? And he said “when the server brings you the bill they’re supposed to tell you about the policy and circle it on the bill.” ….. how is that at all helpful after we are already done? I don’t understand the logic. Regardless waiter didn’t follow the correct procedure anyways.We got 3 drinks and 1 guac + chipsHe asks “so what do you want, me to take off the tip?” Definitely banking on making us feel awkward and I said well the service was slow, you don’t know your policy, you didn’t come back with the menu, sooo yeah I would say so 🤣His excuse was it was just him, the server and a bartender and they were sooo busy. It’s a relatively small speakeasy I would say it was a very manageable level but even still, it’s a Saturday night in NYC, figure it out lmaoI have no problem with tipping 20% if service is even average/basic. I have a problem feeling taken advantage of and this manager hoping the customer will feel too awkward to speak up about it. Absolutely would never come here again, I love pretty cocktails but they weren’t even good.The hostess lady was very sweet and helpful, so no complaints about her.

Best speakeasy in Midtown. All the drinks are crafted to perfection and the service is extraordinary. We had a couple of cocktails but the one that stood out the most was the Mulled Gin Sour. So delicious!!! I will definitely be coming back here.

The unmistakable presence of strawberry and cucumber notes added a delightful twist to the overall flavor profile. Meanwhile, my partner opted for the classic A.M. Prescription. Both drinks were well-executed choices with visually appealing presentations.The servers at The Boardroom proved to be both knowledgeable and engaging, enhancing our overall experience. A particular highlight was an impromptu whiskey-tasting session facilitated by one of the gentlemen on staff for my partner, where the two forged a genuine connection over their shared appreciation for whiskey.The small bites menu, though not sampled during our visit, offers a convenient option for those looking for a quick bite to complement their drinks. Though the prices tend to be on the higher side, I found them to be justifiable, considering the upscale atmosphere and the attentive service providedId absolutely recommend The Boardroom to anyone looking for a refined and sophisticated evening out.

I really recommend this place. The Café Negroni is the best Negroni that I’ve ever had. In addition, we had a great experience talking with the staff. Definitely I will be back.

They will text you to allow you to reschedule; you text back to reschedule, they don’t respond and boom $200 charge. Absolutely not, don’t tell me I can and then charge me anyway. Not demure of them at all.

Speakeasy hidden in a food court. Six of us walked in on a Wednesday evening around 9pm and were able to successfully secure spots. Decent cocktails, good dimly lit vibes.

The entire experience was incredible! The vibe was perfect and the cocktails were thoughtfully crafted and had extraordinary flavor profiles.

During a recent visit, my best friend and I had the most unforgettable experience, thanks to Daniel. Not only did he craft the best espresso martini we’ve ever had, but he truly elevated the evening with his exceptional service. Daniel took the time to explain the intricate details behind the cocktails, showcasing his deep knowledge and passion for mixology. The ambiance was already fantastic, but Daniels attention to detail and warm demeanor made it the best bar experience weve ever had. His dedication to creating a memorable and personalized experience set this visit apart from any other.

It was hard to find the entrance (double doors to the left when you enter the building) but I’m glad we didn’t give up! It was a cool interior and the head bartender was very friendly and informative.

Let’s start from the goods. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was good. The quality of the alcohol is high too.But they are very expensive.So in total if you willing to pay the high price they ask then you will be happy. But for me it is a one time thing. Also maybe I do wrong choices i did not enjoy all my drinks.

What a beautiful speakeasy tucked inside the food court. We opted to sit by the bar to chat with the bartenders. They were very helpful in recommending drinks. The cocktail menu was extensive, offering many options. The cocktails we ordered were beautifully presented, tasty, and spirit-forward. Though the price tag was high, it reflected the drinks complexity.

Drinks and service are insanely good. I love how hidden yet easily accessible it is. I want more people to know about and support this place but I also want it all to myself at the same time. Great spot with nothing like it in the area

Great spot - we stopped by for a cocktail making class and it was fantastic. Our guide was super friendly, patient, and knowledgeable- made the whole experience a lot of fun, answering all our questions with genuine insight. The overall vibe is very nice so I’d recommend checking this spot out.

The cocktails here were the best I’ve had in the city! We ordered the espresso martini and the call me bell and were blown away by the quality. The espresso martini was like nothing I’ve ever had before it was incredible. The call me bell was recommended to us, I’m not normally a mezcal drinker but I still loved this one too! Would definitely recommend this cute bar for a great place to start or end your night

Spent my new years at The Boardroom. I couldn’t have had a better New Years anywhere else. The vibe is immaculate. Drinks were delicious. Service was perfection. I’d give it 50 stars if I could. I’ll be back!!

Very good service and equipment. One thought, they request you arrive 15 minutes before pick up time. We got there at 8:45, they don’t open until 9:00. Not a big deal, all was ready when we got in.

This place is PERFECT.

Cool spot hidden behind an unmarked door. Special compliments to the bartenders who offer excellent and attentive service, as well as extensive, exciting drink knowledge. Tell them what you like and theyll make you something.

I was unable to enter the place due to an exploded steam pipe on 3d Avenue.NYPD blocked the street and prevented anybody to get to go the block where this place is located.The Boardroom charged me $50 for not being able to enter the premises for my reservation.I contacted the owner and he told me he didn’t care - offered me a drink.Don’t go. They have no idea what “hospitality” means.

This bar was absolutely fantastic, from the ambiance, to the service and the beautifully crafted cocktails. Our bartender, Daniel, was an exceptional mixologist and super friendly. We will 100% be repeat customers. Definitely recommend 10/10!
