Delicious food (I had the Buffalo chicken empanadas and happy hour olives)! Chill atmosphere and good volume (lively, but you can have a conversation and not shout) (I’m here on a Tuesday at 6:30pm). Fast service.

This is a great local bar to enjoy for happy hour or during the evening. I’ve only wondering happy hour and their prices are pretty good. They have some wine and beer specials to enjoy. We tried one appetizer that was quite good. I like the menu it’s a little funky and different for the area which is nice. They have a nice indoor outdoor space, even though we sat inside, it was very comfortable. Again, it’s a good place if you want to go somewhere slightly busy all the time.

Was here for happy hour but didn’t fancy the lager on the list so for 15$ we opted for flight of four beers we could choose- creme brûlée stout was very nice! Had good and reasonably priced croquettes and beer battered fish tacos. Like our window seat and overall character of the tavern.

The food is absolutely amazing! Really delicious flavors. The one item I must spotlight is THE OYSTERS. I’ve had oysters all over the city & in all corners of the Hamptons and these oysters here at Teds land on the solid top 3 ever.The only downside is how painfully long it takes the food to come.. I won’t let this bias me as I may be now too accustomed to the post-COVID rush/table time limits!

This spot is unassuming but a great place to dine in a city where everything is something fancy. The food and service is exactly what you want and need it to be and their selection of beer is pretty good. I took friends her on a visit from out of town on a winter day when there was nothing but rain. When other fancier places were packed, this one had space, and a nice place to eat and warm up. Its a local spot and cherished by its neighbors so youre in for a treat if make Teds a place for your evening fare.

Shout out for the two bartender serving us. Made the visit memorable, they gave us loads of recommendations on what to do and where to go around the city.The server recommended the roasted rosemary lamb mediterranean pita sandwich which was absolutely amazing. Perfect taste, perfect portions, very filling.5 star for the service as well as the food.Thank you for our experience.

I had the best date night at this tavern. The food was amazing (i got the branzino) and the cocktails were just as good(i got a cosmopolitan). This has now become my new favorite bar in NYC!

Ive been to Teds Corner Tavern a few times and they never disappoint! I love the ambiance: cozy, warm and inviting with beautiful fresh flowers on the bar. The drinks are very reasonable (try the Wolffer No. 139 Dry Rose Cider - delish!) and the food is really tasty. This time around, my friend and I ordered the edamame, hummus and zucchini chips - all really good and fresh. What makes this place so great is the amazing service. Special shout out and thank you to David and Loralai who were both friendly, efficient, professional and welcoming. Highly recommend if youre in the neighborhood!

The food was delicious, especially after a long flight with reasonable prices. The service was impeccable! Our waiter was very friendly and able to give suggestions. The ambience made it feel like we were right in Greece. Highly recommend :)

I have been dying to come to this place for the longest time! I finally made it this evening. I must say the vibes are here. Drinks are great, food is great, crowd is great. The area is great. Everything is PRETTY great. Inside is almost picturesque, I love that. So many delicious menu choices! I honestly don’t know what has taken me so long to get myself here! Perfect for a group catch up or a cute date, or even just some drinks alone or with someone else. I LOVE it. Even more importantly, I asked them to make me a penicillin (which in this city is a very rare finding) especially if it is actually made the right way …. and they made it quite perfectly, not even exaggerating. So if you’re looking for a great time and great penicillin, you can take yourself right over here. You’re welcome in advance.

We were walking around looking for a late night spot to eat and stumbled across Teds. The atmosphere and music were cool, but the food was meh. Definitely recommend for a drink, but maybe eat somewhere else.

Ted’s Corner Tavern its a good spot to unwind with a drink and talk, enjoying a relaxed atmosphere. We ordered a cucumber vodka cocktail which was delicious.

I went to eat here and they took 45 minutes to bring my food. Only when I told the bartender that I was going to leave in 5 minutes did they bring it over. The plate arrives and it is a small portion. How does this tiny sandwich and salad take this long to put on a plate? I asked him to speak to his manager about what happened and I felt dismissed. He was saying that I could have left if I wanted. I was waiting for this long and you said it was coming. He didnt even make an effort to respond to what I asked. So good food TERRIBLE service. Dont go there if youre really hungry.

We don’t even live over here but we consider this our local corner spot. Solid selection of beer and cocktails, great decor, freaking Aesop soap in the bathroom… attention to detail. Their sister bar a few doors down is also fantastic (Bubo) and I hear they’re opening a third spot soon. They’re taking over the block, and rightfully so.

Place is amazing!! If you come to this area, it literally the best bar and grill.Shout out to Xavier, John and Bella! And the whole team is wonderful, best experience!!!

This corner place should get 5 stars. Everything about it is great. Variety of taps, excellent and attentive bartenders. Lack of a functional air conditioning unit that actually cools the place during the summer is a major downer. Was there for a small gathering and everyone was sweating. The staff said that the air conditioner is already cranking at its top output, but it was easily 80 degrees. So, I guess, 5 stars in the winter, 3 stars in the summer.

This is a great little place that always has a classy, quiet bar atmosphere (despite the fact it can get quite busy). They have a large selection of interesting beers on tap, and a small but delicious cocktail menu. The food selection is minimal, but much nicer than your typical bar fare.

Teds never fails to server a fantastic selection of beers on tap, custom cocktails, and great food (best Mac&Cheese Ive had)!! Bartenders are well knowledged and are eager to deliver the finest experience. Recently servered and incredible Halekulani cocktail and it was great for the hot summer weather. Teds has a great ambiance, the low music allows for you to hear your guest speaking, and currently they have great outdoor dining. Teds Corner Tavern is an easy go-to spot me for when I have to bring guests to a nice place, that not an over crowded college/sports bar.

A fantastic evening in great company and delicious food

Great beer-lovers pub with an unfortunate exterior. The facade doesn’t really relate to what you get inside; a flat red-brick building that looks a little uninviting. However, once inside it’s all marble topped tables and modern and stylish bar. The draft taps are plentiful and seem to have regular rotation of beers, plus there are wine and cocktail choices.Get past the outside and this is a great option for the neighbourhood.

Nice little Oasis on 3rd ave thats not the usual frat boy, sausagefest you usually find in Murray Hill. Good beer selection and great atmospher.

Good selection of beer, and really thats the only type of beverage this place serves. The prices are pretty reasonable too. Its very dark inside, which is great. The crowd might be a bit loud, but its a great cave-like place :)

Definitely will be going back. A cross between a local dive bar and a more elevated lounge experience. Great cocktail list and a huge beer menu (plus 3 pumpkin brews on tap for Fall!) 🍁

Solid little bar / restaurant, no reservation needed. Great for drinks and apps. The oysters and burger were very good.

Went here on st Patricks day. The place did not have lot of people initially and we got the best table. But as the evening progressed it was full of people. There is an option to order 4 beer quarters for 15$. We ended up ordering each and every beer on the menu. Guineess Irish stout and cigar were my favorite.

My husband and I just moved to the neighborhood and popped in last night. The ambiance was cozy-inviting. The drinks were exceptional -- and the service was exemplary -- special thanks to Jeff and Rebecca -- but also enjoyed meeting David too. We shall def be back over and over. I cant wait for the happy hour oysters and wine flights.

This is a great spot for cocktails and a bite! Nice and dark and cozy feeling with a huge selection of draft beers and a great menu.

Hell yes! Outside it says not. But this tavern turns up some freaking awesome tapas and fantastic bar tenders! Can not recommend enough for late eats near The Renwick.

Teds is a touch on the expensive side, but they have excellent food and a huge beer selection, along with great people, and a lovely decor. I love it here.

As nicer a local corner bar tavern as you can find anywhere in the city. A good selection of craft beers and dollar oysters for happy hour. What else could you want?

Nice looking clean place, the vegan burger (a beyond Patty and a bun) took them 25 minutes to prepare even tho we were the only customers.

The service is fantastic, as is the ambience and the good. I only had an eggplant dip, but it was well worth it.

Generally the food is delicious and the staff is very nice. Only flaw was the pita I ordered was extremely soggy and chewy.

Classy bar with an ample variety of craft beers on tap. Its a great place to grab a table and have long conversations. You wont have to order at the bar if youre at a table. The we waitress will come to you.

There are fewer and fewer places like this in NYC. Its a neighborhood (Kips bay) bistro with decent food and wine, and a selection of 30 craft beers on tap. The decor is classy and comfortable, the music is not too loud and theres NO TELEVISION. The likelihood of striking up a conversation with someone is high, and the staff are friendly and VERY competent. For an old school New Yorker this is better than most.

There was a young kid behind the bar mixing drinks that were insane. House specials that looked ridiculous. He was dealing with a bunch of business guys who were quite obnoxious. He never lost his cool and never missed a beat. Kudos to him. And he poured a mean Guinness.

This is my first and last time I will review a restaurant, that is how AMAZING this place was. It was a 15/10. John was our server and couldn’t have been better. Ambiance ... check. Music ... fire. Food ... unreal. As a Greek, I have never had a better Greek meal outside the comfort of my Yiayia’s home. This is the best Greek food in the entire city. It is impossible to articulate how delicious the Zucchini Chips were. Fish cooked to perfection. I cannot wait to go back with my entire family and try the rest of the menu.

Wonderful local bar. Friendly barman Jeff who truly knows his beers. Good food and a very friendly staff . A great place for conversation among friends without the blasting sound of a TV.

Honestly, I cannot attest to Teds food and drink. But I live on the same block, and their outdoor plants give me so much joy in a cold snowy NYC winter. This place is an asset to my neighborhood. (Might even stop in for a drink one of these days.)

Great food, had truffle mac and cheese and it is my favorite Mac and cheese ever! Friend had one of the flatbreads and she loved it. Have a wide range of beers on tap and whiskeys and scotches. One of the bar tenders even introduced me to a new scotch!

Had a movie night-out with my wifey, chose this place to have some drinks and snacks. Picked it because it wasn’t very busy and looked relaxing inside. This establishment didn’t disappoint us. We loved the decor and chill ambient atmosphere, dim lighting is my main factor in choosing places for a relaxed going out and about night. We had a few beers, I had a Azul mezcal on a rocks, we got some fries with feta, lamb pita wrap and Mediterranean sausage with Halloumi cheese.All was good, lamb was a bit too oily and fries with feta wasn’t as good as some Greek restaurants do it, but it was good enough to make us satisfied. It was only one person, bartender, on the floor working customers at the tables and a bar, but this guy was very attentive and quick on service, there weren’t that many people at that time, but still I give him credit for doing his job on the money. Solid 4 stars, but I’ll give them 5 because we left satisfied and also I’m nice 😬We will comeback, next time we around the area👍

Great vibe. Amazing burger. The drinks on their menu are a bit hit or miss based on the bartender. I have had one of the best Last Words I have ever had here and also one of the worst. Would still come back (and do) as its a great vibe.

I went with a friend to this place which is five minutes from the hotel I was staying in.The place is not very big but has a quiet environment.I had two lager beers and a herbs chicken pita with a side of cherry tomatoes and rocket, very good.If you are in the area, give it a try.
