The ambiance and mysterious vibes made me fall in love with this place. I went on a Wednesday and it was cool. The Bartenders were so amicable and gave me great advice on my first Martini ever. If you go, try the Lychee Martini !

It’s a great place for a martini. They still have the caviar sandwich on the menu online but it’s not on the printed menu. Disappointing, as this is one of the reasons we came and it’s no longer available. We also got the chips and dip and it was some ruffles potato chips and what seemed to be a cheap onion dip from a store? Find for a drink, food leaves a lot to be desired.

I visited three cocktail bars during my time in NY, and this one easily takes the cake! It had everything I love—comfortable and beautiful furniture, an amazing ambiance, friendly service, a DJ spinning vibey R&B, and top-notch martinis.I started with an espresso martini that was perfectly frothy and not too sweet. Then I tried a lychee martini, which was deliciously tart—exactly how I like my drinks. I was tempted to go for a third, but I figured I’d better stop while I was ahead!I would return in a heartbeat. The atmosphere is so relaxing and comfortable, yet you still feel like it’s an occasion to get dolled up.

Stellar drinks and vibe. Great decor and good DJ playing funk and soul.Host was a bit rude and was visibly angry with the bar tenders.Also Angel the bartender isnt particularly friendly, but he is a whiz at making drinks.Solid spot Ill definitely go back to.

Great spot that will def be on my regular rotation. Dark, moody, chic atmosphere with lovely details. I came in with quite a large group to be at the bar and the bartender Angel was very kind and accommodating and his martinis were spot on. I recommend!

This is the place is exactly what you think it is. Speakeasy vibes, amazing martinis, really good food. The vibes are serious in here.

DO NOT GO HERE! The staff is beyond rude. They will sit you in the worst possible seat in the house despite being empty. The vibes are terrible. In particular there is a gentleman who is the mateidee- he is a rude person and has no business being in hospitality industry. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

Very sexy bar in East village, you need a reservation, but can also walk in if there is space at the bar. Martinis are amazing

Cute atmosphere and amazing cocktails! we got one that had lavender in it and another that had apricot. both were treats, but a little light on the alcohol lol

Overall rating: 4.3So originally when I made the reso on Resy weeks in advance, I made it on the wrong day (Thursday). By the time I realized, there weren’t any spots available on the night I wanted (Wednesday). A week before or so, I get notified that a spot is available when it opened. Great.Well when we got there, I was nervous on not being on time bc of how hard it was to get a reso. But they weren’t actually opening until 7:30 or so, even tho our reso was 7-7:15. Then when we got in, there was no one there. In fact, there was no else there until 2-3 groups came in around 8 or so, and even then there was plenty of space.All this to say, ignore the “packed reservations” on Resy & just walk-in. That was some unnecessary stress.It was very dark inside and the martinis were very good! But I literally couldn’t see anything at 7:30pm on a Wednesday. I needed the candle for everything 😅I want to come back during night time, as I think it would be more my scene. Recommend trying for nights on Fri, Sat. Otherwise, it doesn’t seem worth it to me. Also 2 martinis were ~$46 including tip.

Please please please add blue cheese stuffed olives so I can like my namesake bar even more

Stunningly crafted and straight up delicious. All martinis are $18 which is a good price for a big, beautiful, flavorful drink. Great vibe, friendly service. Will definitely be back soon.

Cool vibe but I don’t think there was any alcohol in my martini’s and for $18/drink, it felt like a scam

Originally the vibe was great, you could enjoy your drinks while having conversation with your fellow patrons. But around 12 they cranked the music up so loud I had to yell to talk to the person sitting in the seat next to me, and it really killed the good mood we had going.The drinks were good, but they really ruined their own atmosphere with the super loud music in a very small space.It would be 5 stars if it was a reasonable volume for conversation.

These bar tenders know what the heck theyre doing! Legit martinis and other cocktails. Excellent DJ that kept up a chill backdrop for intimate conversation. Welcome to the neighborhood! Will be back soon.

If it wasnt so expensive (20 bucks and more for a cocktail), id go more often since I live a stones throw away.

Have your next event here! I reserved Madelines Martini for my hubbys birthday party this past weekend. We had about 30 people and they placed us in a semi-private area of the bar. I asked for light bites ahead of time that includes, oysters, pigs in a blanket, charcuterie plates, and shrimp cocktail - the food came out timely and they were just perfect to go with the yummy cocktails. Drinks ordered to our assigned server, Robin. He was awesome - he made sure everyone was holding a drink and he was so quick with our drink orders. The vibe of the place, the food/drinks and the DJ was exactly what I wanted for my husbands birthday! We definitely want to go back soon :)

Fire music to conversation volume ratio

Hidden gem but I refuse to gatekeep! My new favorite bar, the martinis are pricey but SO worth it. Be careful because they are made so expertly that you can’t taste the alcohol at all, I was drinking them like juice. Also a good date bar, dark and moody ambience

This place is dark, sexy, and has great cocktails. Angel made the best ‘last word’ I’ve had in a long time.

Even though they advertise that they are open until 2am, they turned the lights on and kicked us out at 1:30 am after we just spent $100 on 4 drinks
