Le Chalet

A solid cocktail bar with food from the restaurant upstairs. Usually not too full, and with a kitschy chalet design. The major downside is that its frequently closed for private events with no warning. Would be nicer if you could plan to be there with any regularity.

Great place for some drinks, it’s so cozy and the waiter was fantastic. We ordered some fries and they were not good. I really enjoy having some nuts while drinking but they only offer them for $9.

Amusing concept – chalet-themed bar in Saks, with a cocktail menu by Nico de Soto (Mace). The decor is over-the-top (decorative crutches, coffee table books, French classics (Gallimard nrf‽)), and the crowd is generally older and moneyed, but front of house is very welcoming and drinks are delicious.There’s a lovely terrace for summer, and cozy chalet for winter.A secret hideaway in the middle of the city!

I made reservation 2 weeks in advance and when we showed up for specials occasion they told us it was closed for an event. Ruined my whole celebration.

My favorite place in midtown, a well hidden gem with cosy and classy interior, great service and amazing cocktails. The seating is really comfortable, never crowded and has a romantic vibe.

Beautiful space. A bit tough to find. Very expensive, but the custom cocktails are good.

63 bucks for a cocktail they took 20 minutes to make French fries, dumplings and a coke. Sorry I came here, but it is a great atmosphere if you don’t care about money or fast drink service. The food came like 10 minutes before the drinks.

Great spot to catch up with an old friend or take your mother for brunch. The decor and staff are amazing and if you know anything about the the Costes brothers then you know everything they do is 10/10.

Love love love this place!!!! Such a fun vibe and a great espresso martini! A must see!

Hidden gem inside Saks. Beautiful bar great drinks

This is the place. What a great bar and outstanding service.

Had never heard of this place in Saks and came with some friends on a cocktail crawl. We sat in the lower level which has lots of cushy chairs/sofas. The cocktails were very well executed and priced fairly (~20). I had a Tom Cruz and a mezcal/espresso something. I was surprised that I liked it here; would come back.

The atmosphere is really nice ㅠㅠ The staff are so sweet too! Good to go for a cocktail~
