I celebrated my birthday at Lazy Point last week and had a great time! The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was super helpful and kind. Highly recommend booking your birthday here.

Hosted an engagement party here for 40 people. We all had an excellent time. Id highly recommend the venue, the staff was really great and help facilitate a great event. The party vibes were fun and all around A+ experience. The host of the venue was very easy to work with + very flexible. Will be coming back soon

I recently hosted my birthday party here and absolutely loved it! once we arrived, the staff and owner were really helpful and even helped us blow up balloons. i especially appreciated how open they were to bringing my own decorations - its hard to find a bar that is willing to work with you to that extent. overall, we had a great time!

I celebrated my birthday at Lazy Point last night and had the most wonderful time. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, they made me feel very special! Drinks were strong and the bartenders were so nice and accommodating. I was able to bring my own decorations and we had a great corner spot for our group. They were incredibly communicative with me when I was booking my reservation. All my friends are raving about how great a spot it was. I truly could not have been happier! I can’t wait to come back!

Celebrated my birthday at Lazy Point and everything, from the atmosphere to the service was incredible. My group was about 40 people and we took over the back area. I communicated and planed the night with the manager, Gunther, who was SO helpful (thank you Gunther!).The DJ was playing an awesome mix of genres, old and new. Definitely a place to come if you want to dance for the entire night!

We were on a party of seven doctors and nurses on a celebration. But the service ruined our party. drinks are good, but service is disappointing.

Came here last night which was the first time in 4 years as I used to work in the area. Was a little bit disappointed as I remembered it a bit differently and more fun the last time i came here. Brought a friend who was visiting last night and he was weirded out by the vibe/decor. I guess it was moreso the lack of a vibe...music would occasionally be turned off or on but at a super low volume. The decor although was beach themed but still felt a bit cheesy. The burger I ordered looked absolutely delicious when it arrived but ended up lacking a bit of flavor when i ate it. I really wanted to love it but it just fell flat.This is overall a great space and could be a really fun happening place but it just sorta falls short in terms of execution a bit. Bummer....

Great new cocktail bar in Hudson Square, right around the corner from where I work. We went for opening night, and were amazed at the transformation - it looks like a beach house in Montauk. Bright colors, very warm and welcoming vibe. The drinks are out of this world, specifically the Bramble Rose, of which I had three. Music was great, with a Dj spinning some good tunes at conversation levels. Definitely recommended

We were In Town for a few days and stumbled into this little dance den. It was early and fairly quiet upon our arrival. After two drinks the bar started to get busy and the energy in the room was Amazing ! SUPER fun evening with great music and a nice crowd. We will be back. The person running the Instagram account needs a reality check. Zero sense when it comes to customer service and how to talk to people who repeatedly give you business. I left my card there last night and sent them a DM to confirm it was in fact there. They confirmed and I asked when I could come back in to pick it up and they said I’m only able to come in Friday/Saturday after 8PM as those are the only times they are open due to “covid.” I don’t live in the city so that’s definitely ridiculous and obviously not possible. They then proceeded to tell me that I was “ incorrect” when I let them know what hours they have listed on their Google business account that was updated ONE week ago by the business as I would have come Tuesday after 5pm. The incorrect and smart aleck thank you was uncalled for. Overall this experience left a really bad taste in my mouth and I will not be returning.

Had a fun evening. Easy reservation and they reserved an area for my girls , no fees.Bartenders were nice and friendly making us quality cocktails during the evening. DJ was on point but for a bit too much of T Swift.Overall we had a nice experience.

Everything was looking fine...Until the old racist owner got into the place... im from south america and after my friends left, he decided to take me out of the club cause “i wasnt fit to drink” (it was and still is 11pm)”From that point onwards i wasnt allowed into the drinking list, after i sat at the bar for 3 hours.Just a bit to racist for my taste...Dont come here.

Decent happy hour spot (goes til 8pm) with a good amount of space. A little too expensive for happy hour prices and a little too dark in the back, but otherwise a fun spot for casual drinks.

We recently hosted two events @ Lazy Point and are so happy we did! Each time, it was an easy on-line reservation. They set aside a large area near the DJ for our group, which made it more fun. The friendly bar staff was attentive, the drinks were strong, and most importantly the music was amazinggg! Well definitely be back next month. Special thanks to Jason for coordinating these for us!

Had a birthday party here and absolutely loved the space and the staff!! It was very nice to have my own table as well as room to dance without any minimum fees! Would recommend!

DO NOT HAVE YOUR PARTY HERE. We booked the space for 190 people (capacity 200) and they had at least five other parties there, as well as people coming in from the street. When we asked the managers and staff about what had happened and asked for a solve, they were completely non apologetic and dismissive and said they just assumed a large portion of our party would not show up. We had to then tell our guests not to come because we werent sure that anyone would be let in. The bar was packed and not in a fun way. In a way that you literally could not move. There was one working bathroom that was totally trashed. Would give this zero stars if I could!

Made plans with a group from school. EasyDoor , the music was fresh. Good drinksIn a very fun atmosphere. Will be back.

I was here last week for my birthday party and had a blast! Halloween is always packed but we had a cute section and plenty of space to dance!! The drinks are affordable and the DJ was amazing! Will be back!! Thank you Lazy Point for your hospitality :)

I went here last Saturday night, there was a small wait outside to get in which was ok but it was raining. The door guy promised we would be in shortly. After about 5 mins me an 4 friends we in to a nicely busy bar, nicely priced drinks, good music.

Super fun dive with a young energetic crowd. And the drinks are not expensive!!

Beach themed bar that fills up around happy hour time. Minus one for sticky, often slippery floors and the lack bathroom mirror.

Could not recommend a place less for your events. They booked multiple halloween parties at the same time and did not disclose to anyone that the venue would be shared. We were supposed to have over 190 people attend our event and had to adjust at the last minute. When confronted, the owner was hostile and rude. The bouncer was also unkind. Avoid!

If you’re interested in hosting a birthday/ celebration party here, do not. The bouncers and manager are aggressive and incredibly rude to all guests and guests of honor. Their business should not be patronized. Spend your money elsewhere. PS- their speakers suck.

The place got pretty crowded soon after it opened. Nice neat and clean. The reason to point it low is that it got too hot too quick. Bartender was good but I had to wait literally 15mins on the bar to get a drink.

Had high hope for this place but was disappointed. Walked by several times and always had a good vibe from the outside. However, we ordered a cocktails from the menu and instead of using the top shelf booze in the cocktail description they poured bottom shelf (jack instead of Woodford) and still charged top shelf prices. Going for a tiki bar vibe, but falls short

Lazy Point is a great after-work spot to get drinks and maybe even a bite. The happy hour lasts a few hours after work and features cheaper cocktails and beer. The margarita is fantastic, but the michelada takes the (tomato-y) cake. Grab one of those and savor the conversation in the spots rustic beach house vibe with driftwood chandeliers and cubbies in the front and back for intimate chats.

Dope place, nice folks, and good prices. Out the way but definitely a gem.
