The drinks are decent enough - standard bar prices for the area. But trust me, youll need one when your $18 order of popcorn chicken shows up. Somehow, theyve managed to make whats clearly frozen popcorn chicken taste worse than it does at home. The sauce is a broken mess, the breading falls off if you look at it wrong (soggy), and the portion size feels like a personal attack. Whoever decided this belonged on a menu, let alone at this price, must have already had a few too many of those decent cocktails. Have a drink if youre in the area, but save your appetite for somewhere else.

This place is a fantastic cocktail bar! 🍸 Donna serves a wonderful selection of cocktails 🍹, wine 🍷 , and alcoholic drinks.🥃 Definitely try the Hall Pass cocktail! The staff 👨‍🍳 is super friendly and the service is quick. ⏲️ The ambience 🎶 is great and the place is nicely decorated. 🛋️ I wish I came here sooner!

The cocktails here are exceptional—crafted with precision and a focus on quality over quantity. Each drink is a work of art, with a carefully curated selection of ingredients that showcases creativity and attention to detail. The menu may not be extensive, but every option is worth trying, proving that it’s all about excellence in every sip.

Hands down some of the best cocktails I’ve had and I’ve been to many of the Top 50 bars. I went with a group of 5 people and basically tried the entire menu and was surprised how good the food was (Uli’s rice is a must-have!). Considering the area (West Village) the menu is fairly priced and the concept of it being worker-owned makes your dollar go a longer way. The service was very accommodating and music/atmosphere was awesome.

The atmosphere and crowd are fantastic, and the food is excellent. Unfortunately, the cocktails fell short of expectations. They didn’t match their enticing descriptions on the menu; three of them had a similar, overly sour taste despite being described as distinctly different. If it weren’t for this, it would easily be a five-star spot.

A group of friends and I came here while waiting for a table at Sip & Guzzle and we honestly ended up liking this place more. Super chill and cozy atmosphere with great service and fun little extras (bubble machine!). One drink I had was a bit salty for me, but everything else Ive tried has been great. Ive been twice now and will be back many more times Im sure!

I’m so happy to have Donna back! I have so many great memories from their Williamsburg location. I was quite sad when they closed. The new location albeit is a bit of a different atmosphere, but the friendly service is still present, well-balanced drinks are free flowing, and the food…the food is elevated from their former taco offerings. I love that the branca colada slushy is still available, so many brain freezes from this drink!

Really dope and chill cocktail bar! Fun atmosphere, cool staff and really delicious drinks, seriously. Had my socks knocked off. Battle of Puebla, La Playa Cubana, oh!, the (off the menu) Piña Colada (not kidding, ask the bartender Fanny for her special; it will not disappoint ;) A must go on the South side of Williamsburg.

Came here opening night and with a friend a few weeks after. Both times were blown away by the food and the cocktails. Brancolada is def the hot summer girl drink of the year. Will be back soon!

The atmosphere and people are really nice. The food is very good. Sadly the cocktails did disappoint. They didnt taste as expected from the description on the menu: three of them were mainly sour and tasted almost the same despite them sounding like vastly different cocktails. If not for that, it would be a 5 star place.

Looking at the craftsmanship and love the barkeepers put in every cocktail was a really awesome sight. The signature cocktails were quite creative — nevertheless, could be improved in terms of diversity in taste. The bar was nice overall but also too noisy.

Unbelievable that this legend of NYC cocktails has returned! The new space is upbeat and the cocktails (and food!) are off the hook. New place for nights in the Village.

The customer service left much to be desired. Delivering top-notch customer service means being adaptable and attentive to customers needs. Its quite bewildering when the hostess seats a large party at a clearly inadequate table while there are plenty of available tables around, and then claims, Sorry, this is all we have. To add to the frustration, smaller parties are seated at much larger table arrangements.The uncomfortable seating situation made us decide against staying for a meal. While the drinks were satisfactory, I dont believe they justified the $19 price tag. In terms of value for money, I would highly recommend choosing Double Chicken Please over this establishment.I must admit that I was genuinely impressed by their restaurant concept. However, its important to note that customer service plays a significant role in peoples decisions to dine out and return to a particular place.P.S. we made a reservation.

Thought this was supposed to be a restaurant/ bar. Obnoxiously loud music is more like a disturbing club. If you’re coming here to talk to your friends and enjoy a nice atmosphere, don’t.

Service and drinks at this restaurant are incredible. Luke greeted me at the front door and was super personable. Lindsay, our server, was so sweet. They gave us a complimentary drink which was really nice! Would definitely come back!

To say this spot was disappointing is an understatement.We had a reservation for a party of 3 last night. Things were off to a wrong start the moment we were seated and having a reservation clearly meant nothing. They had us squeeze into a 2-seat arrangement with a small table. There were empty tables meant for parties of 3-4 around the space throughout our whole visit but they denied our not one, but two polite requests to switch to an appropriately sized table. Later on, we even witnessed a party of 2 seated at a larger booth with space for 4.If the drinks had blown me away, I probably would have tried to ignore the poor customer service, but unfortunately they were nothing special and Ive certainly had much better in NYC for $19 a drink. We initially planned on having dinner here as well, but the uncomfortable seating arrangement led us to finish the visit with one round of drinks. This place had so much potential - I was excited to see that its a worker-owned establishment. Unfortunately, the poor customer service and lackluster drinks completely missed the mark for me.

Staff member was so unnecessarily rude to our group that we decided to leave shortly after arriving. I don’t care that they’re a small cooperatively run business or whatever nonsense they write here - it is not a license for bad customer service and horrible attitude. Thankfully there’s plenty of other bars to pick from.

Beautiful spot. Absolutely lovely staff. Their selection of spirits is extensive, especially if you are a mezcal enthusiast. Get the umami old fashioned (mushroom infused rum YES) and they have a great riff on a 50/50 martini with calamansi. I cant wait to come back and try the food (give me churros and tostadas any day).

An amazing cocktail bar with a very laid back and coastal decor. I did not find anything I disliked about the place. Their cocktails are creative and absolutely tasty. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful - even explained the flavors in each cocktails. To top it off, they had some mouth water tacos!

We arrived as hungry stragglers, after driving from Queens. It is a quaint location located on a corner. There is VERY limited outdoor seating. Upon being seated we placed an order with the waitress. She was friendly but not very enthusiastic. We were asked for payment prior to being served. I found this odd but complied. Just something useful to know if you would like to patronize this establishment. The drinks are good but not great. Tacos are good. We were served and the waitress never came back at all. I would say at best over priced and under delivered.

I came for the Brancolada cocktail but stayed for the Alfarita and Umami Old Fashioned. The food is also really good - pan-Latin with Mediterranean influences. I can never say no to zaatar and chorizo flavors. Going to Donna feels like traveling! Youll find me here any time Im in need of a staycation.

Cool space, interesting design work. The feels of a Havana cafe. And good use of long bar tables for socialization. Cocktail menu is extensive with flirty choices (which youll come here to enjoy), taco menu for light bites (which are so-so, not worth going out of your way to get). Avoid the chips too, they may or may not be stale depending on the day.Overall, youll come simply for the drinks and social time. But most importantly, youll come before 8pm during happy hour, or on Mon-Wed during various night-long happy hours. Taco Tuesday, for instance, is $3 off all tacos and select drinks. This brought me in to explore, you should too at least once.Cocktails hover around $15. Tacos $9 two per plate.

One of my favorite spots to grab a cocktail, usually a classic daquiri or one of their frozen specialities. Excellent bartenders and great aesthetics, feels almost deco South Beach but its just Brooklyn. Good for birthday drinks.

Local bar w/ excellent cocktails.Thats the good news. The bad news is that their lease is up this year, and, well, dunno if they can/will renew. Either way, get thee to Donna, and enjoy it while it is still there...Oh, I should mention, they have a menu now - the taco popup is now there full time, which means you can enjoy some truly stellar tacos (and chips/guac! w00t!) with the truly excellent cocktails (which, frankly, are some of the best in the hood)

The drinks were delicious but most importantly, the service was outstanding. Bartender Evan is one of the best bartenders we’ve had the pleasure of having drinks from. We will be coming back very soon.

The drink Bankog Honeymoon is amazing, crow good, the only thing is that it gets packed a little bit and the guy in the entrance made us wait for 5 min because he said it was packed i did not liked that. But i had a fun nightout with my mexican friends.

I only recently stumbled on this place, but it fast became one of my very favorites. It is welcoming, relaxed, has a short & simple but terrific menu, and cocktails that delight and surprise. And its employee owned. What more could you ask for?

Drinks were pretty good, reasonable prices Definitely tropical-leaning but not outright a tiki bar. Drinks all had fun names. Chips and guac came with extra chips. Service was solid. Id come back.

Food and drinks were excellent - I dont eat meat, but we tried the fried cauliflower and smashed potatoes and both were exceptional. Drinks were all winners but the Brancolada in particular is a delight. We were blown away by the delicious cocktails and food at Donna’s new location on Cornelia Street. The space is warm and inviting, with a great playlist. I would highly recommend this spot for a date or a group of friends wanting to catch up in the Village.

Absolutely infuriating to order from a place, have them get your order wrong and then have your phone calls be forwarded to a voicemail that no one checks and have no way to have the order remedied.

Was so happy to hear Donna was re-opening after they closed during covid! As I expected from them, the space is beautiful, the cocktails are amazing, and all the food was fantastic. I’m still thinking about the harissa crusted whole fish I had! The fact that it is a worker owned/run collective shows and I hope more places follow the example they’re setting! Will happily bike the bridge into the village for a Brancolada any time!

Great tucked away bar in South Williamsburg! The decor is warm and reminiscent of an old Spanish hacienda. It’s a versatile spot for catching up with girlfriends, going on a date, or celebrating a special occasion especially on more lively evenings. The servers are super helpful given the complex but tasty cocktail options on the menu. Highly recommend coming on taco Tuesday for their frozen and draft cocktail specials and snacks. Love it!

Not known for the food but I thought the food was pretty sub par. Note that this is for takeout during covid so it may be different when things are normal. Burritos were extremely wet - mostly filled with bean juice and not much meat. The nachos came with stall chips like they have been sitting there for weeks. Couldnt eat more than a few bites before giving up on the nachos.

Fantastic local bar/restaurant serving up amazing tacos, amazing nachos, and of course some of the finest cocktails in Brooklyn. Say hi to the owner Leif, hes an upstanding gentleman.

Just not worth it. Music was extremely loud, making it impossible to hold a conversation- yet it is not a club... Cocktails were too sweet and food was below average. Overpriced, even for NYC, would not go back again

Loud as a bar can be but the cocktails are good, the tequila selection wide and its a nice place to start the night, thats when its quieter. If you are scream-friendly you can definitely go there for an after dinner cocktail.
